This company is terrible. My elderly mother has been living in these apartments for over 12 years and in the past 3 -4 years the apartments have been bought out twice. This current company is atrocious! They are terrible at following up with the tenants and now its time to renew my mothers lease and they are going up over $200 a month. I have inquired about why and they stated that they are trying to bring all the apartments within the same range. I can understand that, but her apartment has not been renovated and has nothing new. Her apartment is the same as it was when she moved in back in 2008. In fact at the time the lease was sent over she had a huge leak from the A/C unit and her floors were flooded. I have not been able to receive a response from the corporate office on further explanation of what the property manager told me. I have contacted them several times the last few weeks still with no response. Now we have to figure out where my mother can live since she is on a fixed income and $200 just isnt realistic and especially for an old, unrenovated apartment that constantly has issues. They do not care about their tenants, they are only about money. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
Not the best apartments to live in. The office people are nice but I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone. Im tired of fighting these cockroaches on a day to day bases, even with the pest people coming every two weeks when I make a request. You can hear the neighbors loud tv below you and what’s going on next door. I also have constant banging on the walls from the neighbors behind me as well. I’m embarrassed to have friends and people over bc all you see is roaches crawling on my doors and walls! I’m even scared to sleep in my own bed bc I don’t want them crawling on me. This is one I found today
We moved in to a fresh renovated apartment and there was a couple things wrong. Paint is too thick on our bathroom doors so I have to use force in order to open them, one of the door frames has started to chip the wood on the doorframe. All of the paint in this apartment was slapped on the old paint and it’s obvious. On top of that the bottom of our doorframe looks like it he been chewed up by something. They told me I would not be charged for the damages but didn’t send maintenance out. I pay for pest control but hear complaints about roaches and have seen one in my apartment, I’ve seen a lot of flies come through our bath drain and it’s not pleasant. Also I keep getting someone else mail.The leasing ladies are really friendly so that’s a plus.
We lived there for nearly 6 years and although when it was bought by corporate there was a ton of changes to get used to it ended up better. When we moved out it was easy with office. They hired the best manager we have ever had Mahogany! The remodeled apartments are great! Try to get into building Q if possible promise you will have the best neighbors!!!!
301 Greenville is great, the leasing office is always available to help and answer any questions that my husband and I haveThey are located in a very quiet and clean neighborhood and the school zone is amazing as well! The apartment itself is also very modern looking, with a dog park and pool, they did a good job 👍🏽
I just move in 3 weeks ago and i have no complaints at all the girl on the office her name is Savita she is very courteous and professional she help me a lot in all i need and the apartment they remodel everything and i love it.Was my best choice to move. B&M Renovations completed the exterior upgrade for this property about 2 years ago and we recently built from ground up the new leasing office that is schedule to open later this year. Working for Knightvest and with Mahogany (property manager) has been great. They make it easy for us to work and get the job done. Both management and staff are very courteous and professional.
Trying o become a first time renter and my experience with this location was awful. Mahogany was absolutely no help in getting me the information needed and every time I called she didn’t answer or sent me to voicemail. Very rude and entitled. Seemed as if one point she had blocked the phone number. If I could’ve given this 0 stars I would’ve. Worst experience with the worst kinds of people. Apartments are very small and over priced tremendously. They also don’t offer year leases. Be careful where you choose to live!
Mahogany was very professional in all aspects, she treated us with great respect, listening ear and simplicity on how to go about making the application.She is a replica of what, good-first impression is.She went extra mile to answering all question, this is what I really look out for when looking for a new place to live.
This place was great up until the new management got here. Now they want us to take out patio furniture down, that my mom made me and my wife. Because they dont think its patio furniture. Guess the furniture my mom built specifically for the patio wasnt pretty enough. Also said we cant have any curtains on our patio because its a fire hazard. I know its hot in Texas but lets be real, whats gonna catch it on fire outside. Lastly they told us we have to crate our dog till we get home, she cant be on the patio because her using the bathroom is a health hazard. Im not sure were they are coming up with this stuff, but I guess thats why I just live here and dont own the place.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. The one word you want to positively associate with 301 Greenville Apartments is Mahogany. :-) On Valentines Day, my husband and I took the time to visit this property to see what availability they had. We were promptly greeted with a smile by Mahogany, who readily went above and beyond to show us a beautiful new unit and answer any questions that we may have. Honestly, I was so immediately impressed by her demeanor and the quality in appearance of the unit that my husband and I readily completed an application. End result? We are moving in tomorrow. There are so many apartment complexes to choose from, but management essentially creates the environment and facade of any apartment community. Mahogany with her warm and inviting personality certainly makes this property a place you would like to call home. :-)
I’ve been viewing apartments for a couple of days now. I went to 301 and there was no apartments to show or no availability for a quick move in. Viven was very professional and showed me the floor plans on the website and around the community, she told me as soon as they have an availability she will contact me. I hope they will soon have an apartment for me. A BIG shout out to Viven for making my visit a pleasure and I’m very pleased with the community.
Diamond did a fantastic job showing me every single detail inside the apartment instead of me just looking around on my own. She presented herself very confidently and as a sale associate myself I really appreciated everything she did. Although the apartment I wanted got taken up right when I turned in my applications, I wanted people to know theyre in great hands coming here!
My family and I moved from West Texas to Allen on November 2019 and we leased at 301 apartments mid December and it has been an excellent experience living here. Staff is great and has always been very responsive when I had to reach them. I can truly say I feel at home :). Management is amazing this lady goes above and beyond for her customers.
They are doing alot of great renovations around the property. Maintenance comes out quickly when needed. The grounds are kept clean. I feel safe living here and I have not had any issues with staff. The only issue that I have had are roaches. They have sent out the exterminator every time that I have asked but it does not seem to help because roaches do travel from apartment to apartment. I feel that all of the units should have mandatory pest control to get the problem under control. I keep my apartment very clean and its pretty frustrating because the roaches come back within a week of the exterminator coming out. They are literally everywhere, closets, kitchen, bathroom, cabinets, and inside of my furniture. If it wasnt for the roaches I would definitely recommend this community.
Hannah Washington is simply amazing. I recently went to tour 301 Greenville, and she was more than excited to show me around the apartment complex. She informed me on everything I needed to know about moving in and how the process worked. Since it was my first time interested in leasing an apartment she patiently explained to me what would need to take place in order to begin a lease. She was very knowledgeable and understanding of my situation. I truly appreciate great customer service such as this. If she is not manager already, she needs to be! Keep it up Hannah!
This apartment complex is not worth the price paying for monthly. Since they’ve got new ownership, they haven’t taken the time to fix these damn holes in the parking lots! I won’t be surprised if one of these days, one of the tenants tires blows due to these big holes that they can’t even get around to fix!
It was nice plaxe to leave, horrible person to talk, since they got bought out there the worse, vicky the one answered the phone rudest person ever. Try call about my final bill i got iver 4 thousand dollars. One is not my fault they got bought old company didnt get all our commication. They just trying rip off. There trying money just like that when people move out so they will see extra chargers that add. Wow rediculous people.
We just moved in a week ago..and everything is pretty good so far! We love our apartment. It is fully renovated and clean! The building that we got is pretty quiet. Hannah helped us out and was very nice! She was so patient and kind. She answered all the question that we had with no problem. I really recommend 301 Greenville! :)
I think you should always recognizeexceptional customer service. I am referring to your receptionist Diamond. I cant say enough about her. Her name describes her smile. When I came up there she went out of her way to help me by opening the door for me very helpful which every office should have. I place a service call in for my air conditioner and they came and looked at it the same day shes very efficient. She also called to make sure it had been completed.Comparing her with the individual that was there before its a breath of fresh air.Just wanted to let you know. You always hear about the bad but I think you should hear about the good as well.
The new management of this complex is beyond amazing. They have went above and beyond to make sure that my partner and I got in when we needed to. Hannah is excellent at communicating and making sure that you have everything you need in order to move in. I have had nothing but the best experience with signing a lease. Also, the remodeling is stunning!!!! Definitely a 10 star rating
EXTREMELY UNHAPPY AND WORRIED. Signed lease on moving day, never got a chance to see apartment beforehand because “it was still being fixed”. Day 1 of moving in, ROACHES IN EVERY ROOM AND CLOSETS. We counted 32 that we killed! And they weren’t trying to hide. I’m so upset and disgusted. The stove wasn’t plugged in, and has plastic bags in the bottom of it. It only had 2 burners that work. The kitchen drawer fell apart when we opened it to look it, and all of the cabinets are like bubbled chipped and molded dirty cork board. We were looking for basic and affordable. The price for these apartments is way too high for what you get! Maybe $300 a month so the roaches can pay the other portion!!!! We didn’t even get all our stuff moved in and found black mold and water under all the sinks, TWO sink holes in the wall that they didn’t repair, instead covered with masking tape and paint, the bottom 2 foot wide and 4 foot tall section in the living room caved into a hole on day two when we came too look around. We literally had management and maintenance walk through and they gave us ALL our money back. That doesn’t help that we had to throw away our couch, love seat, and sofa chair because the 48 hours it sat there it got infested with bugs! The neighbors all came to talk with us. One tenant said electric is about $250 a month for 1B1B because it’s all outdated, lady next to us said she had rats, rent was jumping $40 a month since new management said they were coming in, and that she was going to be kicked out with most tenants in October!!! Lord it’s AWFUL, DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!
We moved out and turned in keys on July 24th, 2018 with notice given to old management. We had to break our lease due to my husband was placed in hospice care and could no longer climb stairs and had to move in with our son in Dallas. My husband died on Oct 29th. Old management told us they would waive the fees for breaking lease 1 or 2 months early. Received a bill from new management staying we owed August rent. Called to inform them we moved out on July 24th. Was told they had not received Julys rent. I had to send them a copy of the check. Went into office on Nov 5th to find out when I would receive the deposit. Tatia was uncooperative and told me since I broke the lease I would not be getting a refund check and also stated old management did not tell them we moved out and were waiving fees. You would think she would have shown a little compassion due to the situation and at least contacted the ownership team to see it there was anything they could do. Tatia did not even say she was sorry for my loss. We had lived there for over 20 years. Do not rent here no matter how much improvements are made. In the passed 10 years or so, building was in bad shape. Ceiling in living room was falling down with no fixing unless you call caulking a fix. Major cracks in walls, door were hard to open. Bad bug problems and shotty repairs. I know all of this was with the old management, but unless the buildings are torn down and rebuild you will continue to have the same problems.
The layout and applicances in this apartment are great. That’s the only good thing I can say about it. I’ve been here for about 5 months now and I’m moving out ASAP!! Everything was great for a while. Now I can’t wait to leave. There are bugs EVERYWHERE!! Why make us pay for pest control when they don’t come and spay ever!! I have roaches, spiders, worms, and centipedes all in my apartment coming from who knows where. I try to keep the apartment as clean as I can but it’s infested and it’s disgusting. I can’t take it anymore. The other thing is that every time I’ve tried to call the leasing office, they never pick up. I’m fed up with these bugs and no one doing anything about it. Don’t live here unless you don’t mind bug infestations!! The porch is much worse than the inside, they really need to fix this. I can’t even take my dog outside for a walk because it’s so infested. Never recommending this place. Please read reviews before moving in a complex.
Weve been living in this complex for over 5 years, and none of my major maintenance requests have been addressed/fixed until Knightvest took over. Repairs happen pretty quickly, as theyre still trying to upgrade units as well as fix things that were neglected by previous ownership. Communication is, for the most part, vastly improved - its nice not being surprised that my water is being turned off for emergency plumbing. Old owners/staff never seemed to know when that was happening and couldnt seem to figure out how to communicate those things with tenants- Knightvest sends an immediate email with an approximate time when itll be fixed. So convenient!!Constant construction noise is driving me a little bananas, BUT I look forward to the improvements to the units and the property as a whole when all is said and done.I just wish we didnt have to reapply and pay an administrative fee to get into an upgraded unit, though. That seems like a bit much just to move to a prettier unit in the exact same complex, but they DO look super nice.Also, Heather is amazing. We bonded over our dogs and she deserves a raise.
Over the last month we have been looking at apartments. We originally went across the street from this property. Although it did t look modernized I was like you can never judge a book by its cover. We walked in the office smelled amazing; like Cherry 🍒 fairies 🧚🏽♂️ has just landed inside. So Heather greeted us with the upmost professionalism and was very tentative to our needs. She advised that the property was going under a multi million Dollar construction she pointed out where all of the renovations would take place. Working in property management before I know the spill. But when she took us inside of the unit😳I could have just fainted. I thought I was inside of a upscale penthouse in Hollywood. Knightvest really out did themselves with the renovations. These units were totally rehabbed. From the heating and plumbing to the fixtures that were so not typical fixtures to the waterfall shower heads, stainless steel ceiling fans wood floors. Let me stop there. Cant wait to the move in date!
I just moved in 2 days ago and things werent perfect but Tatia and her team made them perfect. My unit was from a move out and Knightvest gutted the place and put in all new appliances, fixtures, tile and more. My move in date was scheduled for 4/1 but the apartment was not ready. On 4/2 I came in with my stuff but the apartment still had some finishing touches. I was out of pocket about $100 from my movers waiting however Tatia was ready to jump in. She immediately came by while the finishing touches were going in and she took care of my account. I was credited for the 2 days and given a gift card as well. This showed me that when something goes wrong, (which is bound to happen in life) that this management team is quick to respond to the call and go over and above. Tatia also followed up with me to make sure everything was ok and that I got moved in. Im looking forward to my stay here because this team means business when it comes to taking care of their tenant. I highly recommend this complex to everyone who is looking for a place in the area.
This place is an absolute joke. Management is terrible. Had multiple leaks when I moved in. Took them months to resolve the problem. They cut out a piece of carpet and never replaced it. Still have mold in the bathroom where leak was and nothings been done about it. I have two outdoor chairs that because one idiot doesn’t qualify it as outdoor furniture I have to get rid of them. There are much better places in Allen for a comparable price to move to. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX.
I’ve lived here for almost 4 yrs and I’ve never had a problem till we got new owners. I have my bank send a check so it gets to the apartment a couple days before it’s due and now it’s 6 days late that’s never happened before. They want you to pay on there website and to add a credit card it cost 27$ that’s ridiculous. They want to go green but they won’t let me air dry my stuff on my patio. I like to hang my towels out to dry so I don’t use too much of my electric and you can get fined for doing that. I never had to pay cat rent just the down payment and now it says 10$. And don’t be fooled with there nice set up online the pictures online are nothing compared to what they look like. They’re old building and there cheap I had some issues that took them a yr to fix. My sister and I didn’t see the apt till we moved in but I knew they were cheap so I figured there would be problems.
I cannot stand living here. My mother Kristi McDow forces me to stay here even though the maintenance man harasses me and she makes me live in a small bedroom with 3 other people. I have told the manager there - Jennifer about the head maintenance person but I think she is friends with my mom and kicked me out of the office and said she would take care of it. Never rent here, the manager is so mean and I do not like everyone else who works here.
I like the new management and especially Heather, she helped me set up my portal and answrred my questions patiently. I am so lucky to have her in the office. I am happy with the new ownership. I had a bad experience with last management and really like the new company. Thank you knightvest
The previous review that was posted under my name was hacked and I am contesting that and stating that I did not write that. The maintenance man is my uncle and I love him and my aunt. He never did anything to me or my siblings. I never went into the office and talked to Jennifer.
I live in these apartments my family and I are outraged that the people who live in apartment # 160 tonight 2/19/21 at midnight with their car destroyed our snowmen which took us hours to make we want that the office evict them because they are not good neighbors for the community if they do not do this we will not leave it in oblivion.

2022-06-16I have been here a year and I truly Love my apartment. The office staff is very attentive and always strive to resolve any issue that arise in my apartment. I have never had a problem with maintenance or the office staff. This was my first apartment in TX and I have had nothing but a Great experience. The location is close to everything and that is a plus.

2022-03-24Unfortunately i liked this place a lot and liked what the new company did with the apartments. But my 1 year lease is up in June and i got a notice saying they are increasing my rent by $206 a month. When i went to speak with them there was no care, it was all about money. Stated that the other apartments around are in the same range.. Which i dont see that as im moving out and will find one for the same price or lower. Its really disappointing to have just moved here just a year ago and already have to leave due to this. They have included car ports too and they are $35 a month. So dont get too excited about them.They rather lose out on a tenant that pays on time and respects the property and leave it vacant for an extra couple bucks. Very disappointing with this decision. Save time and money and look elsewhere.

2022-01-23Poor office management. There is a constant loud noise in my room day and night due to the ceiling fan rotating in my downstairs neighbors room, so THAT I cant sleep every day since I moved into this apartment. This has been going on for more than half a year. I have informed the office many times, but there is still no solution so far. I told the office again two weeks ago and they promised to replace it with a new ceiling fan, but disappointingly they still havent repaired it. The ceiling fan problem should have been easy to deal with, but they didnt do it because the noise wasnt in their ears 24 hours a day.

2022-02-04This is unacceptable, the maintenance doesn’t do his job correctly, we have more than one week telling them we have a problem and the maintenance just go clean up and that sit, the lady in the office is super rude, yell people doesn’t want to help ( she is a costumer service, she supposed to help) but no she just hung up the phone! I hope someone from the community, owners can see this post and can help!! Right now that apartment is not habitable.

2022-07-06When I moved in 2 years ago, my rent was 1300, and they said they are renovating the place, and adding a gym ( in the office they abandoned after they built a new one), since then there has been a 400 increase in rent under the guise of paying to park, increases in water bills, trash pickup, gym fees, etc., With a new management company, now my rent is 1780 per month, plus all the bills to make it over $2000 per month I am putting out, there is no security, and no access control, and forget about any kind of maintenance, or pest control being done, they will look at the problem, and say it was fixed, and never come back, the management is very courteous, but expect to be charged for everything, parking started at $35.00, and now its going up again to over $ 45.00, as well as everything else, they will increase the price of everything, and you will pay for it, or get out, for the price they charge, its not worth it in my opinion, and no I wont call to hear yet another excuse about how the prices are increasing because of the housing market, etc, etc.

2021-12-21I’ve been here for several months and I’ve had a great experience. The management team has been my peace in every way. I needed the pest control to come by and I called and they had him here in minutes and I have not had any trouble since. I love 301 it’s a great place to live!

2021-11-20I moved in 5 months ago and have nothing but a great experience. I looked at 301 Greenville because it was only 5 minutes from my work. When I inquired about a one bedroom, Vicki showed me exactly what I was looking for and I leased the same day with no problems. Maintenance is always professional, courteous and caring. I highly recommend 301 Greenville Apts.
