Still waiting on an estimate/quote. Basically said they had enough work and did not worry about what other companies quoted and it seems they did not want our business, since we never received a quote. The gentleman/ estimator seemed knowledgeable, but why ignore a potential client??
I cant say enough about Isac. He listened to my AC issues and was really concerned about our daughter with no AC in this heat. So he kept at it until he found the problem, no matter how many trips up to the sweltering attic he had to make. Were now cooling off, and its so nice. We really appreciate him!-Robert C
We used All Year with the previous owners of the company with great results. Unfortunately they sold the business. We needed some help recently and the new group fell seriously short on so many levels. Misdiagnosis, canceled service calls, system resets until the problem returns. It usually takes a week to get someone out. This has been going on since February so our loyalty has run its course. I hope they can get it together, but we no longer have All Year to get our AC repaired.
11 1/2 months ago, All-Year installed a new system. Then on the eve of the condensate pump warranty, the pump failed. All-Year showed up on time the next day, fixed it, apologized for the failure, and charged me nothing! No paperwork or hassle of any kind! Thats what I call customer-oriented service!
We have used this company for the last 15 plus years! They are responsive, professional and honest. They have repaired and installed two new trane units in our home and our house has never been so comfortable since the first install in 2009. Prior to that they maintained our old system. Lately we had an a/c leak while we had company last week. They sent someone out almost immediately and recharged and sealed the system. Couldn’t be happier!
All year installed our unit 8 years ago and we have them maintain our unit twice a year. We like them so much that we have two neighbors, upon our suggestion, that also had new units installed with All Year. Timely, friendly, helpful and professional. I give All Year a two thumbs up.
After the Feb 2021 Winter Storm my power came back on but my furnace would not work. I called All Year and they had someone out the next day (on a Saturday - and didnt charge extra for this due to the weather emergency). Tony came at the agreed on time, looked at the furnace, and diagnosed the problem straight away - a frozen drainage line. He said it would thaw in a day or two and the furnace should reset, but to call him back if it didnt and there would be no additional service charge. Will definitely use All Year again. Thanks All Year for great service!
Called them in to look at system at beginning of summer. They found some leaks, and found a broken sensor. Manufacturer was having supply chain issues - it took a long time to get the replacement. All Year kept me informed and proactively contacted me when all was ready to go.Job on time and short duration.
Very pleased with All Year. The problem was not one that could be diagnosed easily but the techs stayed with the job until it was diagnosed and fixed. The techs were all courteous, friendly, stuck with CDC protocol, explained the problem and what needed to be done to remedy the situation. I highly recommend All Year.
Ive been an AllYear client since Chester Spaw owned it. He sold it to Michael Sher. Michaels sudden retirement was an unpleasant surprise. I sense little continuity between your AllYear and his so that in effect you are now a new company that I must evaluate. I also sense that AllYear is a franchise of a larger, impersonal chain. My experience so far has been hit and miss. My foreboding is ameliorate by Michaels participation in finishing the installation of a new system started bought from him. My neighbor, who selected AllYear long ago on our suggestion, has switched. I hope for the best. Time will tell.Regards, Monnie Anderson
We have been using All Year Heating and Cooling for many years. Our Trane systems have been top-notch. All Year recently called to remind us about our paid-for winter inspection. I would never have remembered and lost that money. It was easy to schedule. Our excellent technician was polite, on time, checked everything, flushed a gas furnace blockage, and even threw in a free repair (he sealed a small spot where some air was getting out). We continue to be happy, satisfied customers,
24 hour service is a joke! Had an A/C Emergency on a Saturday, technician called and said he couldnt be there but could come Sun at 10. No show at 10 on Sunday and after 2 hrs of the service paging the technician he finally called. Said he never scheduled the 10 oclock with me. Stuttered and stammered and then said I was out of service area and it would be an extra charge. I said fine - its an emergency! He then asked if I could wait until Mon - I said no! Then the technician said he would try to move things around but didnt think he could - very wishy washy. Of course he never called back and did not show up. Very unreliable - would not recommend and will never call again!
I have been an All-Year customer for 4+ years now (they installed 2 Trane systems). I felt compelled to write a recommendation because I had an issue where I needed to move some Air Conditioning copper pipes ASAP to install a hot water heater in a closet. I had just come back from a long road trip from Christmas vacation and the plumber worked very hard to fit me in the next day but could not install the new water heater without having the pipes moved. After a long road trip, my family and I were really looking forward to a hot shower. I explained my situation to Casey (manager at All Year) over the phone and he showed up at my place in 20 minutes to help the plumber out. I frankly was stunned. Casey quickly got to work moving the copper AC lines himself while he waited from his crew to show up to reinstall the lines which took half a day. All-Year has always been responsive when I need them and all of their techs take pride in their work product.
Business offers 24hr emergency service but does NOT deliver on that promise. Business would not send somebody out to fix the heater because it was “too cold”. I talked with the business owner who said he made that decision because there was “ice all over all of the roads” and masses of “car accidents due to ice” which was simply not true (I was on the roads myself last night - no ice) and the local weather station confirmed that too. In short, this business chooses to NOT serve its customers therefore I cannot recommend this business. They should not offer a 24hr emergency service if they choose not to deliver. I would rate with less than one star if possible.EDIT: Business owner called me hostile when I called him out for not being honest with me.
Considering All Year Heating and Cooling in Austin, Texas? They are under new management and you might want to check out our story first. For 20+ years we have been All Year customers. Early June 2022 our 12 year old AC failed, we agreed to the fastest path for cool air, and an entirely new system was installed on June 8 by All Year for $12,000.A few weeks later we noticed water coming up through the hallway floor outside the AC closet – yikes! We called All Year’s advertised 24/7 support line, got the answering service, and left emergency messages on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday with no response. On Monday July 25, we finally heard from the All Year office and they sent a technician to the house. He discovered that during installation of the new AC system, a tag had been dropped into the pipe that carries away condensation, causing water to back up and silently leak under our irreplaceable 1950’s vintage wood parquet flooring along the slab foundation. He was able to flush the pipe and remediate the blockage. And he called over a water mitigation inspector who marked the floor the length of the hallway and into our living room and bedroom at either end of the hall where the water had seeped. The All Year tech explained it was All Year’s error and said All Year would cover whatever damage our insurance did not.So I opened a claim with our homeowner insurance and they sent a water mitigation company who promptly set up dehumidifiers in our hall. And they called an environmental inspector to assess for mold. The report found there was now a high mold count in the house, requiring special (state law) mold mitigation protocol be followed in removing the flooring, baseboards and the lower portion of sheetrock.Due to measured high levels of spore counts, we were advised to vacate the house (which we did!) until the mold remediation was completed and the floor replaced. The extreme inconvenience of this water damage scenario has been exacerbated by my husband’s double fusion back surgery, also on July 25, and his need to convalesce without disruption. Additionally, I work full-time from a home office which had to be relocated.I have kept the new All Year owner and GM apprised of the work being done to clean up the mess, caused by their error, via numerous emails, texts and phone messages. Our homeowners policy is covering most of the ensuing expenses for this mess, but the policy DOES NOT COVER MOLD REMEDIATION. After weeks of begging, the All Year owner paid our $1000 insurance deductible, but for the most part it has been very difficult to get their attention. The mold remediation contractor promptly performed mold services in order to arrest further mold growth and to speed the process to get us back in our house. They sent the $10,000 mold services invoice and all supporting documentation directly to All Year, but All Year IS NOT RESPONDING to them either. The reconstruction of our house (sheetrock, paint, flooring) is stalled until the mold remediation invoice is paid. After paying in full $12,000 to All Year for a new AC unit, do we now have to cover this $10K expense to clean up All Year’s error? Shouldn’t All Year do the right thing and cover the mold service expense? All Year has insurance, too. Maybe it’s time to contact the Texas Dept of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to file a complaint. It’s been 8 weeks. All Year could choose to restore our confidence in their company and cover their expense for the mold remediation, failing that I feel compelled to share the story. All Year, we do not need more condolences, just pay the invoice please.

2022-07-01After some AC trouble, All Year sent out a tech on quick notice. He tried to get the system working, but it failed soon after. I discovered that the drain line needed further cleaning. All Year sent out another tech this morning, and he was really quite good. My AC is eleven years old, and I am considering a new one. The assessment of my system was quite thorough, and several options were presented to me. I would give them a good report on this evaluation. I have been a customer since 2011. The business came under new ownership within the last two years, and so far, the new owners have been good.

2022-08-27I had used All Year for 26 years and had been very pleased with their service. Then the were bought out. About 2.5 months ago I had an issue with my air conditioner cutting off. They returned time and again and didn’t fix it. They only reset it. Then they replaced my $1,100 thermostat and it worked for one day. I called on a Friday evening when I came home and it wasn’t working AGAIN. They didn’t return my call until Monday even though it was over 100 degrees outside. By that time I had called another company. They diagnosed the issue, ordered a part, and had it repaired within 3days. It’s been working ever since. It’s very sad that a company to which I was loyal and had been so good will never see any business from me again.

2022-07-22All Year saved the day for me and my kids. After 2 weeks of no a/c in extreme heat due to my home warranty not responding to me, I decided to hire someone outside of my warranty in order to cool my home. Danny at All Year came out the next day and got my house cool in under 30 minutes. He was so nice and professional and gave me some great advice on how to move forward in dealing with my terrible home warranty company - Landmark Home Warranty. As soon as Landmark fixes my faulty units, I will cancel my policy with them and get All Years twice a year maintenance plan, which is half the cost of my home warranty plan. Thanks Danny and All Year!

2022-06-08Ive been an All Year customer for 18 years. They installed the HVAC system when this house was new, and another a few years ago when the old one needed to be replaced. THAT was a great company - always responsive, great technicians, stood behind their work, did what they said theyd do. The new version under new management - not so much. They failed to reserve a maintenance appointment I asked for (I found this out after waiting 3 weeks for the appointment, then nobody showed up), scheduled a different appointment, cancelled at the last minute, and now refuse to make another - despite the fact that they took my money for this service.

2022-08-22Great service by Lukas today! On time, polite, and worked fast to get my AC working again. Pricing was as expected, and lower than I was quoted by Fox and other bigger outfits in town. It is also hard to find companies that work on ductless mini split systems, which mine was. Highly recommend!

2022-07-28I was charged ($499) ten times the retail price for a part that retails for $50. After being a loyal, satisfied customer for three decades, I will be looking for a new AC service provider in the future.Because the part was installed during the annual AC check, the unit was already open and the capacitor was installed in less than 60 seconds. The charge of $499 for a $50 part and 60 seconds of labor is unacceptable.

2022-08-09This company went way beyond good service to provide EXTRAORDINARY service by installing in a days notice a much needed new HVAC system in a days time. With Junes 2022 oppressive heat, my house was registering inside at 87F. With two visiting houseguests from abroad, and two of us over the age of 70, I made an urgent call to the company on a Saturday morning. The company fit me in on an already fully scheduled day, and as suspected, my old unit was irreparable. Even though the company was booked solid for a week for installations, Danny, the main tech, searched and located the brand and size of unit I wanted, and personally installed it at 7 am the next morning, foregoing his own Fathers Day morning with his four kids. I have done business with this company for 18 years, and will certainly continue.

2022-07-20The worst! They deserve a zero rating. They were happy to promise installation of a new unit the next day, but once I paid, the unit wasn’t installed for over a week. It never worked properly. 3 weeks later we are still awaiting a resolution. They also charged me to replace a coil on another unit, which was promised the same week as the new unit. 3 weeks later they showed up with the coil and began disassembling my working ac unit only to discover that in fact it was not the correct size. So the put everything back together and now that ac unit won’t cool anymore. In addition, they charged me for my annual maintenance, yet still have not completed all of the filter changes. So they have charged me thousands of dollars and left me with two ac units that are not working. I have had to hound them to get people back out here and to get answers to questions. The current ownership bought the company a few years ago and it apparently has no idea how to run an HVAC business. They use outside contractors to do installations. There is zero quality control. If you are looking for a good hvac company, run away from all year as fast as you can.

2022-07-14My AC stopped working late afternoon in the middle of July. All Year was the 8th company I called (just going down the list of companies close by with good reviews) and they were the only ones who had a tech willing to stop by same day. Sarah answered the phone and was sweet as pie. Danny stopped by as soon as he could and diagnosed/fixed the issue quickly and efficiently. Prices are fair and service exceptional. They’ve won a new customer and I won’t call anyone else for HVAC service in the future.

2022-04-27Ive been a customer for over 10 years for our geothermal system that was installed by this company. Our compressor froze and a tech arrived a week ago to give me the verdict. He said he would provide a quote. After calling back several times to the office, they finally informed me they no longer worked on my system. I lost a week in the process with no progress on the issue. They did refer me to another tech company, but the communication has been very poor.
