One of the best experiences I’ve had taking my car to have work done. The guys were extremely nice and professional; even gave me a ride home after dropping off my car! Got my car fixed same day, was not overly expensive, and everything went extremely well! Highly recommend!

Ive been going to this repair shop for almost 5 years and they have never let me down yet theyve worked on five vehicles in my family every time they gave me a fair and honest assessment the pricing was fair and if I had a problem which I did not they always were sympathetic and took care of it. truly one of the best kept secrets on getting any work done on your vehicle. I have a 2003 Toyota Tacoma with over 230,000 mi on it and they treat it great. I had some electrical issues and needed a oil change and they took both good care of that.

Great group of guys, friendly, fast service. Replaced my A/C compressor in less than a day, stuck to their quote and absolutely no issues, my A/C blows so cold now I get the chills and teeth chatter! Highly recommend.
Initially called to get an estimate on labor prices for an alternator replacement. They allowed me to provide my own part and were very honest and reasonable with repair prices. I had my car towed to their location, they called to confirm that they had received it and stayed true to their cost and time estimates once my car was fixed. Quick turn around, especially without making a previous appointment, and were very communicative during the process. 10/10 will recommend their services to all of my Denton friends! Thank you for making a stressful situation so much easier!
I have now had two of my car work on there these guys are great. They do not try to jack the prices up on you.They quoted me on one price but then after looking at my vehicle they determined that it was actually $100 cheaper most places would not have told you that and just stuck with the regular quot
The catalytic converter was stolen off of my truck while it was parked in my apartment complex. I got my truck into this shop at 3pm yesterday and had it back by 1pm today. They did a great job to get it back to me quickly and were overall very helpful.
Very nice people . Did a great job with my van a little pricey but if your a women its worth it . Most shops take advantage of a women who comes in alone but Allgood did not ! I will be recommend them ..
Absolutely genuine people! I brought my truck to them after Toyota told me my water pump is leaking and it would cost me $1200 total to replace. I called these guys after reading the Yelp reviews and got quoted $550 which more than reasonable for me. After dropping off my truck, I got a call informing me there is nothing wrong with my water pump and everything works fine. I left the place today paying $20 for a radiator cap. I really appreciate the honesty from these guys! These are the type of people you want to handle any problems with your vehicle, reasonable and trustworthy.

Im so glad I found this place. The mechanic I had used for years is no longer in business so Ive been trying to find a new shop. These guys are great. They repaired my truck in one day for a VERY reasonable rate and didnt try to sell things to me that I didnt need. Im sure they could have suggested a lot of repairs for my old truck but they repaired what was needed and its driving perfectly now. The owner also showed the part to me that was broken and I appreciated that because most places dont take the time to teach you. He also explained the cost of repair and damages if I had ignored the noise my car was making. Im glad I took it in when I did! They gave me a ride home when I dropped it off too. My son was so impressed with them that he dropped his truck off an hour later to have the brakes done. You will not be disappointed!
Allgood was very easy to work with and very helpful through my repair, replacement of front coil springs on my conversion van. Dealer sold the wrong OEM product, and Allgood essentially did the work twice for a mistake that was not theirs. They were patient while I had to have coils manufactured (discontinued OEM parts), and did not charge me full price for the second time around. Thanks guys!
I just had an absolutely amazing experience getting my timing belt replaced on my car. Their price was much lower than than the competitors in the Denton area. I look forward to taking my car in there again because the service was great!
Living in Houston, it is nerve-wracking sending my 21 year old daughter to a mechanic nearly 300 miles away, but every time I have sent her to All-good, I have gotten honest quotes and good work. This last time we had to tow the car in, and it’s a classic trap situation with an dishonest mechanic. They have all the power and we can’t do anything except pay to tow it somewhere else if we don’t like the quote. They found and reconnected an unhooked fuel line based on info we gave them of previous work done and didn’t charge us a thing! I can’t believe how lucky we are to have found All-good and whole heartedly endorse them!
They did us right on two separate occasions. My fiancee and I were sold a used car that had several problems with the brakes and the front wheels. We are just starting out and every expense is a big one. The guys here were honest and fair about both labor and parts. They went above and beyond and worked with us on prices, understanding of our situation. Will be using again

This place is great! Brought my boyfriends car in on a late Friday afternoon. The service was super quick (done by Saturday afternoon), and the price was very fair. Friendly staff and owners! I would definitely recommend them to anyone whos sick of getting the run-around by big name auto repair shops.
I had a great experience working with Allgood. I was on my way through Dallas from Houston when I lost an oil cooler on my car. The guys here got me in that day and had an estimate within a couple of hours. Took a little longer to get the part, but that wasnt their fault. They ended up coming in under budget and quicker than expected! That just doesnt happen in my experience. Very friendly staff, very helpful, and accommodating to a special request I had. I would definitely take my vehicle to these guys if I lived in the Denton/Dallas area!
I brought my car for a repair and they never got it right after 3 times. I recommended my daughter to Allgood auto. She was mainly looking for good work and good price because she was a struggling college student. I have to tell you she got neither. First I needed a rack gasket installed which normally cost around $1400 they came in cheaper than anyone. We went for it because we figured because the car was a 2006 any mechanic should be able to work on it. Then thats where the trouble started Allbad we bought it back and replaced it again. It leaked we brought it back and it leaked again. So at this point you know we are thinking its the part so we got the dealers part and we got charged $300 more dollars.Okay we think we are set now. But noticed a distinct scraping noise when turning the wheel. We asked about it and was told to bring it back because it was minor and it could be fixed quick. Well no it was not minor and we were lied to. We took it to another shop and found out the part was knowingly installed wrong and because it was so much labor to fix it we were given the run around. So the other shop (Strandes Garage Denton) fixed it correctly at a discounted price because of Allgood 3 consecutive screw ups. The part they installed wrong cost over $1300 dollars of front end damage. You must understand after installing the part wrong they had to over compensate the front end alignment so the car would ride right. So yes they knew it was installed wrong and were very dishonest about it. Strandes went back and fixed Allgoods circus of mistakes.Look I know you get what you pay for but trying to save money on this job cost me three times what it should have. I am just posting this to remind you if your going to this shop DO NOT DO IT in the long run you would be better off spending the extra money. They are a bunch of shade tree mechanics in a storage shed and they will screw your car up and then lie about it. Remember they say they will fix it bring it back but your time and has to be worth more than this. I suggest Strandes Garage Denton speak with TJ and I guarantee he will fix it right the first time and for a decent price all their mechanics are Masters so you do not have to worry about what we went through. I am almost 60 years old and still learning life lessons.
Robert and his crew took the time to explain and show what the problem was and the repair that was necessary.. Robert gave me an estimate which was less than local competition and he called me later during the repair which saved me a significant amount of money. The repair was done quick and right.
The people here are great. They are kind. I have used them several times. This time, They diagnosed and repaired my truck that had stopped running. (bad crank sensor) They took their time and did it correctly. The repair cost was very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Allgood.
Had to get 2 catalytic converters replaced, in order to pass emissions, and get my car registered, when we moved to Texas. Called Honda dealership, and Christian Brothers, and both were quoting me twice as much as Allgood Auto Repair. Clarence and the guys at Allgood Auto were friendly, clear and upfront on pricing, and helpful on what was needed. Will definitely go back to these guys again!
I went here because of all the good reviews and Im glad I did! I had a very expensive problem with my car and they fixed it with a much simpler solution and didnt even charge me! I really appreciate it, that would not have happened at any other places Ive taken my car. They were so considerate and honest.
Needed what I thought was a ball barring replaced.... Turns out I need 2 replaced as well as new breaks and rotors. Jason and Clarence took great care of me and my truck. Got my husband and I back to work quickly as that was our only vehicle
Called clarence about an AC compressor on my wifes car. After hearing all the outrageous prices and getting shady vibes from other shops I was reluctant to try a new shop. Let me tell you Im glad I made that call. I could not be happier woth the service we received the guys are friendly Honest my wifes ac is blowing cold. They even noticed her radiator fan was on the way out. And swapped it for me . I will be back and Ive already started to recommend All good auto to my friends.

I honestly did not want to provide a negative review but the only reason I did not want to write a negative review is because the owner himself dropped me off at my house and picked me from my house when my car was ready where other mechanics do not even offer rides; that is the only reason. So I do appreciate the ride but seriously, guys?So here goes: I was referred to Allgood Auto by an OReilly worker (I will never trust a referral from them again) because I needed to have my thermostat changed. The worker assured me Allgood Auto does a “good” job and told me not to buy the thermostat because they get their parts from that particular O’Reilly’s hence the reason he had the business card. I then have my car towed to the place thinking I was in good hands (This is not Allstate nor was I in good hands). They charged me $150 to change my thermostat. MY THERMOSTAT! A thermostat for my car is $15. Literally 3-4 screws 20 minutes at the most (and you’re done) unless you’re working with a bunch of amateurs…or those looking to get over on people. (That is ridiculous) Then, they said I would need a new radiator after inspecting my car (LIES). That was not true, they lied to me. My radiator is fine. Allgood Auto more like: No-good Auto.Listen here Allgood Auto: “This type of price gouging does not make for better business”.Needless to say, all of this happened on Valentine’s Day and I definitely did not plan on getting screwed like this.
Have been taking my vehicles to Robert Allgood & his team for 2 years now. They are friendly, professional & all round good group of people. Trust their work & business ethics & reasonable priceing. These guys were great, helpful, and honest. Low and realistic prices compared to the other big name places in Denton, and much much better work. These guys went out of their way and did above and beyond to help me out, and I will continue to bring my car to them, and refer anyone I can.
They kept my car for 4 days and did absolutely nothing. When I called to check in they said my key fob was broken and the car wouldn’t start, and they wouldn’t work on the car until I replaced the key. I walked to their lot, got my key from them, started my car without a problem and drove straight to another mechanic where my car was fixed in 2 hours.
I had a oil leak from my vehicle. The guys over at Allgood were very professional and took care of the issue going on, to where I was able to drive my car the following day. If youre looking for a Auto Repair shop in Denton, I highly recommend this shop.
Love and adore Robert!!!! Best mechanic EVER. I have had 4 cars serviced for multiple reasons (including needing a new engine) and have never been so sure of the service. I know that I am charged fairly (seriously inexpensive here!!!!), and that they stand by their guarantees on labor work and parts. I have and WILL keep recommending this place to anyone and everyone who needs engine work done. They go above and beyond to be upfront with costs, explinations about the work needed, and will NEVER upsell or push you into repairs that do not need to be done immediatly. First off let me just say these people went above and beyond to help me. I had a little issue at first and they did everything to make it right! Allgood is the quickest/most affordable mechanic in the area, simply put. The mechanics are easy to contact and very upfront with what it is gonna cost to get you back on the road.

2022-07-10Very nice and honest shop. Their rates are reasonable and their customer service is on point. I wish I could remember the guys name who service my AC on my car. Hes great. If you ever go there ask for the guy who drives the blue Chevy with the ice cold AC. Hes the best. But all each employee that Ive come in contact with there were very cool. Keep up the honest and great work!!!!!! Its hard to find a honest auto shop these days!

2022-04-23Allgood responded to a post of mine on Facebook. They were also recommended by a friend. I dropped my car off at 8 am on Monday. They gave me a ride home and picked me back up around noon when my car was ready. I had the part, so they only charged me for one hour worth of labor (which was less than every other mechanics hourly rate Ive been to.) They were straightforward and extremely easy to deal with. I will definitely go back any time my car needs a repair.

2022-08-22My son attends college in Denton. I searched for reccomendations for auto repair and Allgood came up in most of the suggestions. I called and spoke with them and my son went by the next day. Cost estimate spot on, estimated repair time in and out was spot on, and quality work. I couldnt be happier that Ive found a mechanic that can handle customer service, repairs, and maintenence issues for my kid!5 Stars Allgood and Thank you!

2022-06-02Its not All Good! Not anymore anyways. It took them over a week to do shocks and struts. And fd it up like 2 times. Its been some months but they had it atleast a week. The dude at the front counter was cool and all that but......I wouldnt if I were you...and Im hearing a popping g sound came back which could be the shocks but well see....oh yeah when I went to get the alignment like a few days after the install the guy sees fluid and the shocks were loose...avoid

2021-08-02So far so good! I had a major repair that needed to be done and Allgoods pricing was the best. I didnt feel like they were trying to price-gouge me in any way. I used them in the past and their work is guaranteed (if you buy the parts from them for your repair). Lastly, Clarence is fair and honest and made the experience worthwhile. Ill definitely use Allgood in the future if needed.
