I had a wonderful experience today at American Freight on Wheatland Road!The staff was very helpful and professional.!The store managers Adria and Kade where VERY knowledgeable and the protection plan is the way to go! It sounds like an up-sale. But its worth it. I highly recommend THIS LOCATION! AWESOME FROM GREATING ME AT THE DOOR till i received my paperwork!
Searching for a new fridge can be daunting but I found one at American Freight. Andrea was very accommodating and I was able to have a same day delivery as opposed to the other popular hardware stores that wanted me to wait weeks for delivery!! Unfortunately I did find a couple of dings on the front of the refrigerator, but American Freight went all out to make this right and came to my house a couple of times but due to unforeseen circumstances were unable to put these right. I spoke to Kade the assistant manager who was very helpful and promised another brand new refrigerator would be delivered by Lee and Quinton. They took great care to check that it was perfect before they left. Amazing service. Thank you everyone. I will certainly shop here again.
I purchased a commercial size deep freezer chest.. From the tine I called to inquire about the freezer until I came into the store, I was treated with exceptional service. Kade handled all my needs.. He made this large purchase easy and he did not pressure me to purchase anything.
Although I was immediately greeted with a smile by a Female sales rep. I walked thru with the intention of making a purchase, but after noticing people laying across the furniture, eating and laying down on their cell phones, babies jumping from couch to couch was a major turn off. I turned and walked right back out. Didnt feel comfortable asking people to get off couches so that i could possibly make a selection. Ive been pre-approved for $$$. Very disappointed in not being able to make a purchase. After posting this review, I was contacted by Andrea who nit only apologized for what I encountered upon visiting the store, but explained the situation. She (Andrea) is a beacon of light. I revisited the store and was very pleased with customer care and services. The items that I wanted was not readily available, yet promised that she would find what I wanted. Received a phone call from her today stating that she had found it. My hat is off to you Andrea, Manager of the year!!!
We went furniture shopping for a tall chest of drawers to fit into a tight space. Kade found just the one we needed! He was incredibly easy to work with and truly a great guy. Everyone at the Desoto location was very customer oriented… will definitely be back again in the future!
I went in to purchase some furniture today as I am new to Texas. And Kade Turner was absolutely wonderful. He was personalable, informative, patient with Great Customer Service. Although he was the only Guest Associate he was able to multi-task with multiple customers with no problem. He greeted and assisted each customer while still assisting me. I would definitely come back and recommend American Freight at this location to anyone. Thanks for the Great Experience Kade!!
Kade was amazing from the start of the phone call he gave me once I showed approved in their system, to the treatment within the store.The store appearance was cleanly, neat and priced with reasonable prices. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed. He treated me like an individual and I was able to explain what I wanted, how I wanted it and when I wanted it. He was thorough and knowledgeable about the products he was selling and I didn’t feel like a commission based client.I was so impressed I had my husband come back into the store to purchase our Washer and Dryer the same day.I also got the pleasure of speaking to Andrea, the manager. She handled a challenge I had with a purchase from the Grand Prairie store with Grace! The true definition of a manager. I will continue to put my money into this location.I appreciate the customer service.Update: 6/3/22Kade is EXCEPTIONAL !!!I purchased a lot of appliances. The Washer and Dryer is not installed by the delivery team but Kade ensured if I needed anything he was a phone call away. He provided me with his direct contact. I was able to FaceTime Kade and he provided me with step by step instructions on setting my appliances up on my own. I’m a woman who has never did this before. He helped me and made sure I had my system up and running.I didn’t feel like another “sale” to him; but a human! He is AMAZING!!!! Please go see Kade if you need anything.He has truly been a blessing during the storm from the challenges I had at another store to just making sure I could wash my clothes!!!Thank you Kade.
Today 06/27/2022 on my delivery date i decided to edit my review My reasons was because me & my fiancee is very disappointed in the inconsistency of what we thought during the presentation was great customer svc With my fiancee being a former business owner, were very aware of the importance of consistency with customer svc, especially with a large amount of a purchase. After going to 4 different locations with good sales we decided to make the decision with this company because they were the first choice and the good customer service from the manager and others at the beginning of the sale. The choice was not made because of the cost because everyone was price matching their cost to get our business At first we were going to pay cash but decided to go with payments because he got a approved credit and we were making other furniture purchases other locations. What a big mistake. Customer service should be consistent from the beginning of the sale, the delivery and later if any futher assistance is needed. My fiancee is a handicapped veteran who is unable to walk at the moment. On the day of the delivery. The customer service went down hill. Due to everyone being at work my fiancee was at home waiting on the delivery. The delivery drivers just dropped off the boxes of the large sectional in the house. Not even volunteering or suggesting to put it together. Very upsetting to us both. We have Never experienced furniture ever being delivered to us and Not put together. After contacting the manager who were very helpful & nice at the beginning of the presentation, turned out to someone different. And stated to him that it was a $25 charge per sectional box to put it together and there were 4 boxes. Why was this Not told during the presentation of the sale? Giving us the option to purchase elsewhere that provides that .........6/28/2022.Im doing a followup review because we felt that it was well deserved. Reviews are very important for businesses for the new customers and as well as a tool to improve anything that may need improvements. Some businesses take it seriously and some dont. I want to thank the Assistant Manager kade Turner for his promptness of correcting everything. Not only did he send two new delivery guys to make sure our new sectional was done correctly but also the Warehouse manager came also and did it for free. It was Never about the fee , it was the principal of it all. It shouldve been told upfront so a customer can make that choice or pay up front. I may cant give a perfect 5 because mistakes were made , but once again we do thank Kade for his promptness. Also Thanks to the delivery guys & the warehouse manager that helped my fiancee today.
I went to American Freight not knowing what to expect. Kade the assistant manager walked me through step by step and now I am the proud owner of a beautiful living room set that goes perfect in my new home. Thank you Kade for a job well done in assisting me with my purchase.
There were three customers ahead of us and Kade ensured they were all taken care of in a swift matter. When it was our turn, he was extremely swift in writing our details and within five minutes we had paid for our furniture and it was ready to be loaded. The gentlemen loading the furniture were also quick and hardworking.Every piece of furniture we buy has been at this place, and we will continue coming back as long as workers such as Kade are employed.
Kade is the one! Im new to this area and it has been a very difficult task finding the right appliances for my new home. I googled American Freight and found the Wheaton Road location. The atmosphere is welcoming. I didnt just feel like a customer. I felt like I was suppose to be there. I was taken care of by Kade. He is very knowledgeable about the merchandise, he is professional, and efficient at helping customers. I must say, after many painful weeks of shopping for a washer and dryer with no luck, Kade resolved my issue within minutes. I was able to obtain the appliances that I needed stress free. I am very pleased. I would 5 star this location any day.
After calling 3 times with no answer or correspondence in regards to my order. I finally got in contact with some who proceeded to tell me there was no record of my order.. after speaking with the passive aggressive sales rep, I asked to speak to the manager. Mr. Claude Roberts, the manager was very dismissive and rude, didn’t even attempt to remedy the situation.. due to an error on American Freights part my order was NOT delivered as scheduled or even on their radar.. The team at this location did not seem to care at all. When I asked for a refund I was literally told, “that’s good, we don’t have to waste our time on your order anyway. Better for us.” Wow, no wonder why the rest of his team feels so comfortable being rude to paying customers.. I then asked for his manager on the corporate level and while speaking to someone in the background he proceeds to say, “ I don’t know why people as for the district manager as if that’s going to do something.” Good to know this behavior stems from the top down.. I’m truly surprised by how boldly these people are willing to be rude.. I will take my business elsewhere, gladly.
The manager of this store Andria, seems to go above and beyond what it takes to make a customer happy, at least thats what she did for me. I also received quick and courteous service from the young man that took my purchase to the car for me.I was told about this store from a friend and not only will I tell others, Ill be back also.
This store is very awesome, associates where nicer here than Grapevine! They took the time to help me, the process was super easy, I went to Grapevine store they where all over the place . I was almost late for work then had to come to Dallas anyway. I would suggest the Dallas store honestly plus the have everything in stock
I used google to search online for a trundle bed and American Freight popped up with the perfect bed! I went to the store and was greeted by Cade and Andria immediately. I showed Cade the photo of the bed I wanted, he immediately checked stock and went to the back to find it. Andria assisted me with by offering two mattresses in my budget. I also found a fabulous rug for a great price. I was in and out within 30 minutes, including checking out and scheduling my delivery for this Wednesday. Andria and Cade have amazing customer service skills, including being knowledgeable about the products, stock and just overall positive and friendly! Definitely will be back for more purchases for our home! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I will start off by saying an apology to Ms Andria because I was LIVID 🤬🤬 and she did not take it personal one bit she allowed me to say everything I had to say and then of course I apologized. But I ordered a Upholstery Bed and that store was closest to me that had it from the moment I walked in the store she assisted me with my order and delivery. So fast forward I get my delivery outside of my expected time but was notified that their day started later than expected and I was okay with that. Delivery comes it’s a very big box I thought they were going to assemble it as well but they told me they don’t do that so I just advised them to place the box against the wall. I left town for a few days and finally just got back and I was just going to use my woman powers and put it together my self 🤩 so I opened the box and started to take all the parts out and get to the headboard and it’s damaged so I instantly get upset! I have OCD so there was no way I would just say ok ol’well and just keep it and I know it’s like that it would bother me like crazy!! So I called and Ms. Andria answered and I off the back was upset so I just kind of let her have it NOT THE BEST IDEA AND I FELT SO BAD AFTERWARDS!! She advised me to to send pics and she would review them and get back to me. She did call me back in a timely manner to discussed options I did not agree with the first options. However we came up with agreement to send me out another bed with no additional delivery fee. As of now I don’t have a delivery expectant date but I have hope 🤞🏾🤞🏾 Thank you Ms Andria for you great service, your empathy and willingness to help. And my apologies for getting upset again!!! For your furniture needs stop by and ask for Ms Andria!! I will post an updated once my new undamaged bed comes.
This location had some really nice things and the prices were okay. Some of the items that were shown in a sales paper were not available. I assume because most companies use a sale ad in order to get you to come in and look around. My mom purchased a couch and sofa that was reasonably priced but the delivery charge is very steep so I would recommend that if you know someone with a truck then you can save tons of gas by doing that. There was a large selection of sectionals but not a large selection of regular sofas and loveseats. The sofas that were available head the attached recliner end. Most recliner chairs start at 250 and up. Most living room furniture start at $600 and up with most of the larger living room sets being around $998 and up. Mattresses were available that I did not get a chance to look at those.
Went to three different places to look for a fridge (Home Depot, Best Buy outlet and American freight) I found a he same fridge I like from Best Buy a few hundred cheaper at American freight, they were able to deliver 3 days faster and the people were nice. Checked on me at o help me out, I had forgotten my measuring tape and Paula helped me measure a few and answered questions, it’s so nice when the sales people know what they are talking about, nice price and experience l
The lady working was very friendly and helpful. Explained what was looking for in a mattress and she told us about the different ones and the benefits. She was super nice and managed to get us on for next day delivery even though we were there near close. Highly recommend.
My experience was realy bad the lady on charge is the most rude and lazy person to be attending costumers I drove from grand prairie location because the sistem said they have the trundle that I was looking for I ask for it and receive a realy fast negative answer she said I dont have it didnt even check the computer I returned to my car ang call grand prairie location and they vfc very helpful talk whit this manager and they found an other option that I may like, so i went back inside the store and ask for that bed and andrea say they dont have it in display and she was not going to bother to look for it and check if she have all the parts unless I buy it first! Time is money (like the costumer time is not) so that was my attempt to buy at a local store and not online so I left and took my business somewhere else.
If I could give a negative star rating I definitely would. I purchased a couch from this location last year and the legs on the couch have already broken. Figured it was no biggie since it had only been a year, but ironically that’s when the manufacturer warranty expired. Well I purchased the protection plan AFTER being told it would cover such damages and I normally decline it but decided to purchase it anyways. Filed the claim for the damages and gold figure it was denied. Was told only stains would be covered. Spoke with customer service after not hearing back from them over 2 months and was told that I have to contact the store for a refund. Contacted the store just to be told to contact customer service for a refund. The one star is ONLY because I have to give a star rating.That was my experience with corporate. However, this location is under new and BETTER management and Ms. Andria treated my family and I exceptionally well. I thoroughly appreciate her honestly just LISTENING to a very frustrated customer. She never belittled me or spew out any technicalities and actually wanted to help. She also noticed where I’ve attempted several times to contact corporate and Guardian (old insurance company) discussed my experience with them.
My furniture purchase was fast and easy….. Andria help me find my dinning table from another store and had it delivered to this store so that I was able to pick up my furniture together……I appreciate her going above and beyond to make sure I got the furniture I wanted…… Thank you all!!
Amazing experience!! From the purchase to the pick up, it was flawless. I will never buy from anywhere else. I didn’t have someone breathing down my neck to give me a quick sale. When I needed help, someone was always there and incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like I had been shopping there for years. I love my washer and I appreciate that they had a service warranty for the unknown. Thank you to all who had a hand in helping me bring home my washer. Keep up the great work, you are appreciated!!
Im giving them a 4 star only because it did take a little more time than it should have to get my furniture replaced. Yes, I get with covid things are pushed back but this was all human error. However, once the manager realized what happened, he spared no time correcting the issue and I was able to get a whole new bedroom set that same day. He showed amazing customer service and was completely honest about everything. Go see this guy!!
I placed an order online for a bed frame and mattress set. I called the store and the gentleman (Dwight) told me to come on in. I got to the store, talked to Dwight and was informed they didnt have the bed I ordered. He showed me a better version of the one I ordered and I upgraded. The guys loaded the mattress set up and I was on my way. Definitely a GREAT experience
Really great customer service!! The employee, korey was his name helped me and was so good at explaining things to me. He checks in on his customers, making sure their delivery is scheduled and secured. Welcomed me into the store being so helpful!! Would definitely go there for more rugs and beds!
Dwight was absolutely hands down one of the best associate I could ask for he was very friendly and explained everything so well. I had some concerns he addressed them so well and helped me get something that I love and will last me years. If you are mattress shopping or any furniture come here and ask for Dwight he is wonderful!!!!!!!
Worst service ever/ I spoke with three different employees beginning on Monday May 24,2021. The first employee told me they were working on my order that the inventory online had not been updated so what was showing in stock actually was not. I was told someone would give me a call back. I called Tuesday to check the status of my order and the person I spoke with stated that they were trying to get my order shipped from Ft. Worth and it should be there that day. I was told he would give me a call back on Wednesday confirming. I did not receive a call. I called today May 27th and spoke with Robert and he stated my order had been cancelled. Keep in mind I had no idea it had been cancelled. No one called me to inform me, there was no customer service. They had no worries of losing a customer. All Robert asked was did I get my refund?
I thought the staff at Dallas location were very nice. But the washer dryer I purchased was leaking water pretty bad. When i called them & they said it was the connection on apt. . i called apt. & maintenance said it was leaking from washer & he showed me. I called them back they said i had to wait for replacement i said I dont mind waiting & when it finally came they said they could not re-install they just dropped it off. They pushed it in so i cant even use it cause they didnt even plug it in. I asked them what if it dont work. They said just to call them. Im not sure how that would work since it was leaking from 1st day. I got warranty. Would that transfer etc. Would they still honor warranty if someone else installs? When they told me they couldnt install i just laughed it sounded bizarre.
I want to thank Andria so much for assisting us in buying our new mattress and cuddler sectional. She was truly amazing to work with and very knowledgeable with the products. Her honesty and patience is what really sold us. She truly does care for her customers. I strongly recommend to ask for Andria when looking to buy new furniture.
My mom had to have one of the worst experiences. First she paid for everything up front no payments nothing they got all of their money. When delivered they never gave a time on when they would be there which would be an absolute inconvenience for my mom since she would have to wait all day for the furniture to come. The furniture was delivered & the dining table was missing a chair so they had to go back and get it. They brought back a chair that was the wrong color... Then we had to wait for an ottoman that wasn’t even expressed to my mom that wasn’t going to be delivered on time with everything else. They finally delivered the recliner which was also the wrong color so they had to go back and get another one. I mean it was just absolutely ridiculous and so unprofessional for the money she spent... so disappointing.
Great customer service got me in and out and definitely got me what I was look for and found online. Andria was very helpful and would definitely recommend her. Called Grand Prairie location person was very rude and I definitely did not go but making the trip to wheatland location was worth it.
I looked everywhere b4 stopping @ American Freight. The store Mgr Dwight was polite and considerate. Together a deal was made on set and associates packaged all up 4 me. Love the friendly faces and customer service I received. Wanting to go back for my living rm set...amazing selection
Where do I begin!!! Dewight and Korey are AMAZING. They made sure I found what I wanted and got everything I needed to feel comfortable and protected. They even went the extra mile to call and make sure everything was delivered on time and I liked it. I had to go replace some parts and dewight made sure I had what I needed. He has an awesome team the men in the back where helping and giving me pointers for my table and dresser. Thank you guys we will forever be in business
My Mother and I visited this store Sunday May 30th. She purchased a GE Washer. The Wash cycle makes a loud noise. She is very unhappy wants the Washer picked up. We cannot not get the Manager on the phone only the workers. This has become very stressful and annoying!
They had nothing i needed in stock. Only the cheaper looking stuff, you know, beds that look like they belong in a dojo!! Ive purchased from them in the past, I know they can do store to store look ups and purchases (purchase at Ohio location from Texas store),but dont blame it on what yall dont have when youre truly swamped an all you have are load boys for help. Home zone wasnt any better either! Find my review about them and laugh along if youd like!!!
UPDATE:I’m here today and my first experience was so amazing so I definitely wanted to come back and I was extremely disappointed. Service is horrible. A bunch of kids working there now and they don’t give a damn about service or the customer. Ridiculous.I couldn’t wait to leave. I feel sick that I just spent a grand in there and they treat you like you’re no one.It literally took 15 minutes for them to come over and greet me the first time. Like what? Unheard of. Won’t be back.First of all, amazing experience. I called Sunday at 12:45 and told Cedric that I was coming to buy a couch and we talked a bit. Im not much of a shopper honestly, I get something that works and that is it. I told him that I would be there in 20 minutes. Got there, eyed some things while Cedric was dealing with someone else. Once he got over to me, he told me about a deal on a couch and I was sold. Done. Then went to look at coffee and end tables. He showed me one that was assembled already and I was sold. Done. Went to the register, swiped my card, spoke with the delivery driver and was done in less than 15 minutes! My furniture was delivered within the time estimated and the delivery drivers were so nice and professional. They even arranged my furniture like I wanted. I understand that my situation is unique because I already knew what I was looking for but I mean, its for me. So fellow customers, do yourself a favor and browse online and then find something you like in store and dont mess around. I wasnt forced or haggled with because I had a vision and Cedric took care of that 100%. I cant thank this company enough. Cedric is a true gem that is amazing at what he does. No BS or trying to force me to buy something out of my range. Im sitting on my new sofa in my living room breathing easier now that the anxiety of the situation is over. I mean, WOW. Thank you a gazillion times, American Freight!
Poor quality, worse customer service. Please just dont shop here. My sofas were both defective and its taking months to get replacements. Which you have to pay to have the replacement delivered and the defective product removed. My previous post was deleted. I am so disappointed and dissatisfied with American freight on Wheatland road.
Initially gave them a 5 star rating, but I have to change it. So I was not told the $54 I paid in the store was just a PROCESSING FEE. Does not go towards the balance of the furniture, idk where the $54 goes to be honest. The people in the store were nice, but that’s not enough when you’re dealing with peoples money. Let people know upfront that the $54 you pay to take home the furniture is not being applied towards the balance.Then the people who work at the financing place they go through are just horrible. I work as a service rep at a call center, and the service they provide is far from exceptional!
Do Not buy anything from this company. You will sign up to pay one thing and end up paying double. They send your acct to an out source whom Do Not give a damn about what another rep tells you. If you want to be stuck paying off something almost 2 yrs then be my guest. But you will regret it. I signed up to pay $900 for a table and mattress. Ended up posting almost $2000. Go somewhere else if you can. Make sure you thoroughly understand before you leave the store. Honestly I did, then they still screwed me.
Great customer service!!!!! Cedric is amazing and will help with whatever you need. He is very detailed with explaining to you about what all options are available to make a purchase. I promise once you walk into there you will leave with more than you wanted. It’s very affordable and will accommodate every room in your home.
Shopped at a few stores today. Got on google to find cheaper queen size beds and it lead me and my wife here. Jesus and Damon were great. Damon had my wife laughing and she had an overall A+ shopping experience. Jesus helped out alot when it counted...crunching the numbers.I highly recommend this place! And we know where to go when we build our new house and have to furnish it.Great job guys and thank you. Saved us over $1300 from the other place.

Dont like being lied to nor having information being kept from me. Advised could pay furniture off in 100 days without incurring any finance changes with my first payment being drafted from my account a week later. Okay with that since was going to completely pay off account within 30 days. Needless to say surprised when account drafted for payment on same day and when called finance company was advised this was a processing fee that the store charges. Never once did the sales associate advise of this. The mattress set (which I absolutely loved) along with the bedroom furniture for my other granddaughter will not be purchased from American Freight. Honesty is always the best policy.
Walked in and was greeted by Dwight... He helped us (my mom and I) find exactly what we were looking for. He took the time to explain the differences in themattresses as well as the the living room set that we purchased.. He was very polite and professional ... he is definitely an asset to the company... Although he was working alone he still managed to assist every customer as if they were the only one.... We ARE VERY PLEASED TO HAVE MET HIM AND LUCKY TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE HIS CUSTOMER
This review has been edited with an updated rating-After waiting a long 45 days for my daughters bed and getting the run around from staff, we finally received it after the store manager Alec drove to San Antonio himself to personally pick it up because he knew how frustrated I was over this. For that, I have changed my ratings from 1 star to 3 stars and have personally thanked him for taking the time to do that for me, my daughter is happy to know her bed is here. It is finally put together and is beautiful, my daughter loves it and is very happy. It meets my expectations and I would recommend this bed for anyone looking to add personality and style to a girls room. :) Thank you Alec, store manager. Other staff needs to work on customer service.——below is the original post—-If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I have been getting the run around with this company regarding a bed that I have ordered over a month ago for my daughter. I was told that since it is a special order, it may take up to 30 days to come in and I agreed to that, however, now that it has been past 30 days and all I have been getting are lies and false expectations for date of arrival, I am not satisfied with the service. I feel that they do not go above and beyond for customer satisfaction, they constantly leave you hanging not knowing where your items are or when to expect them to come in. They can’t ben track an item, which is odd to me if a customer trusted them with payment. This will absolutely be my last time ordering from this company. I am not a happy customer and my daughter has been waiting for her new bed for such a long time now. I feel horrible because I was given false hope from this place. There is also some very unprofessional staff working there as well as others who are absolutely clueless to what is going on. I am confused as to what kind of business they are running. Again, extremely dissatisfied customer.Unfortunately, I’m still waiting on the bed to come in. Each day, I’m given a different day to expect it in and then given one excuse after another.. If it wasn’t for my daughter wanting the exact bed, I would have just asked for my money back!!!!
Ordered my furniture last week, was supposed to have it delivered on Thursday, was told I would be quoted the assembly price whenever the delivery driver was delivering. At 1:35 PM the delivery driver called and said that they would be here in 45 minutes, I told them they never gave me the price for the assembly, he then told me that since I was getting assembly he would have to push my time back, I’ve been sitting at home all day waiting for my furniture to be delivered, it is almost 9 o’clock at night and it still has not been delivered, and it’s still going to take him an hour and a half to put it all together. I have moved all of my furniture out of my house so my children have nothing to sleep on tonight because their bunkbeds still aren’t here and by the time the bunkbeds are put together they should’ve already been in bed for school tomorrow. This is ridiculous, they need to have more than one driver if they have all of this furniture to be delivered and assembled.
Service is amazing !!!! I was able to go in and find all my needs in less then 2 hrs. Cedric was SUPER SUPER patient with me. He also answered all the question I had. He even went out his way to help find this bed my mom wanted. I highly recommend this store if your looking for great service, great product and prices !!!!!
Everything was fine when we went in and purchased the couch. All hell broke lose when it was time to deliver. First off nobody called and said were running late or were not coming. We waited all night long. The next day we get a call from them saying it will be here in the next hour. 5 hours later still no couch. After countless calls we finally got ahold of the manager and he assured us he would have another driver bring the furniture to us. He said he would compensate for our troubles. Currently waiting on the couch now. Will update soon!

Everything was easy and smooth when we went in to buy, but if you but a set and they forget a piece don’t ever plan on getting it. We’ve called multiple times with multiple people saying they would get it to us that day and we’ve still never received it. We’ve paid off our bill and just took the loss knowing we will never receive that piece. The furniture looks good but after a few months our couch and loveseat is just falling apart at the seams. Save yourself the trouble and spend a little more at a different place or you’ll end up paying for something you’ll never receive.
The only place I will buy my furniture from now on, GREAT PRICES AND SELECTION! Went in for a mattress, left with a mattress and couch. The prices were just too good! Tina and Oscar were great. Fantastic customer service, knowledgeable about their products, and super friendly. Not pushy salesmen, very easy to work with. Go in soon and ask for Oscar!

Negative stars should be an option.The color of the furniture you receive will be random, not the color of the furniture you selected off the showroom floor and paid for. They will tell you it will be the same color, but if you read the receipt (after you pay, of course) it will state that color is random. I bought a tan couch, I did NOT get a tan couch.They will tell you it will be 5-8 days before your furniture comes in. It will be more like 5-8 weeks, and theyll never know the date its coming, so dont bother asking. Dont even bother calling, just accept the fact youd been conned.No refunds, no returns.These people will bald-face lie to you, and then hide behind fine print and the no refunds policy. The foul mouthed salesman I dealt with informed me that the company is 100% staffed by ex military. If thats the case, not only are they an absolute disgrace to the armed forces, but Id love to know exactly where their meth-mouthed manager claims to have served.
Company should really not claim to take all forms of payment for both in store and online deliveries. Both their website and their employees in several locations claim to take discover. Attempted an online and 2 different location instore purchases and wasted several hours both in store and online only to be denied. Pretty ridiculous.
First off read your contract if youre going to make payments. If you purchase 3000.00 dollars worth of furniture and you dont pay it off with thin your contract agreement you will be paying 300% interest. I got 3000.00 worth of cheap furniture and was told if I didnt have it paid by my contact agreement they was going to charge me an additional 7000.00 dollars. I will never do business with this rip off place again. And if I could give them a half star I would. Unhappy camper over here.......
Needless to say I will NOT be shopping here ever again. Don’t get me wrong they’re very nice inside the store, but every salesman that just wants your money is always nice. I chose a couch Friday evening (yesterday) paid my hard earned money and I told him I wanted my couch delivered today (Saturday) he assured me that would be no problem and they would deliver whichever item I chose on Saturday. Had he not promised me next day delivery I would’ve gone elsewhere. Never had an experience like this with any furniture store. Here Comes the next day (Saturday) I had to work in the morning yet my fiancé and kids were home. I gave them both my number and his for the delivery. Neither of us received a call. I thought it was rather strange that they didn’t schedule a set time or a time frame for my delivery but unfortunately I didn’t question it initially. I got off work at 11am and I called the store they said they haven’t made any deliveries yet but the driver would let me know when he’s on his way. I said okay and at about what time would that be? They had no clue. I said okay I’ll wait. 4pm rolls around still nothing and at this point I’m really inconvienced because now I’m having to fight my sleep being that I’ve been up since 4am and had to work and now I don’t know when these people are coming and I’m afraid to miss their call or else I’ll have to go through all of this all over again on a different day. I call the store yet another time and I ask what’s going on? It’s 4pm. You said you only had 10 deliveries amongst two different trucks, I haven’t received a call can you check on it for me I’d like to be able to go to sleep now whereas it was already too late for me to be able to go out and enjoy my day due to I hadn’t gotten any rest like I planned on doing and then getting back out to run errands yet instead I’m at home all day waiting on them and I’m very busy just as you guys are but I digress. The man on the phone assured me that one of the trucks was almost back to the store and I’m the next person he’s going to tell them to load my stuff up. I said okay thank you. Then another 2 hours and 40 mins later. I call the store again at 6:40 because I know they close at 7pm and I’m wondering where is my stuff??? That I paid for. I’m pretty sure had this been a contingency delivery and payment for the items and delivery wasn’t due until the stuff got to me that it would’ve been here pretty damn fast. The guy says yes we close at 7pm but after that they are still here loading and delivering. I said okay that’s fine and dandy but I don’t have a phone number for the driver or anything so how can I know for sure they’re even going to come??? I told them had my furniture not been delivered today like promised many times I’m going to call my bank and stop payment and they can just keep it and I’ll look elsewhere because I feel as though I’ve been lied to and given the runaround. 2 hours later I get a call at 8:30 pm.... 8...30.. AT NIGHT, and now y’all want to come deliver my furniture?? I’m writing this review and it’s now 9:00pm and he still isn’t here... not downing the brother I’m sure he works hard and I’ve got no ill feelings against him nor the associates. Just feel things could be handled smoother in the future. Could’ve been a life long customer but this interaction sealed the deal for me. Not to mention I’m right down the freeway not even 10 miles and I have to pay $65 for delivery which isn’t major but I’ve had companies come and deliver from 30 miles away for only $45. I’d recommend using an actual schedule and keeping track of deliveries that way and allowing people to pick their time slot as long as it is available. Maybe also having each truck service a particular area and route and communicating to customers the exact process for delivery. Kinda ridiculous to expect someone to sit home all day on a weekend day waiting on a phone call at any given time.

2022-06-14I went to look for a bed for my guest bedroom, they had a bunch of options on display but for some reason they didn’t have a lot of the beds. I was confused as to why they would have so many on display but not have them available…. The staff was really nice and helpful and they have pretty good prices and really good sales. For example they had a sale on a bed that was $299 it was definitely a good price but not quite the kind of bed i was looking for.

2022-07-28Decided to stop by and look at the furniture and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the products and price accessibility. Andria did a great job greeting us as soon as we walked in and treated us with respect and courtesy at all times. To say the least we ended up buying a recliner and a set of mattresses. I would definitely recommend American Freight and if you do visit them, don’t hesitate to ask for Andria. : )

K took his time helping me, he was very knowledgable about the inventory, the merchandise and the prices. He was very kind and had some A-1 customer service. My wife and I was very pleased with the service and will be going back soon. If you need some furniture, trust me, go see him, he will definitely get you all set up. Amazing customer service😀

2022-06-28I came into the wheat land location for a washer and dryer and was not sure on which set that I wanted. The Assistant manager Kade. Was helpful and patient and made sure he helped me even tho he was alone busy. He still had wonderful customer service and did not get mad or frustrated that I didn’t make a purchase today! Both managers overall were very diligent, patient, and went above and beyond with customer service. My washer and dryer are beautiful, and my service was fast and efficient! I definitely plan to return to the Wheatland location in the future to make additional purchases! After the Covid pandemic many companies customer service skills demolished. I’m proud that I can say the Wheatland American Freight location is NOT one of those companies!!
