Since it first opened, my family and I loved to tell our friends and families about this restaurant. However, they have recently made staffing changes that have really affected the level of food and service. Being thoughtful people we understand service can be a monumental task and not always great. Now that the food is starting to suffer we may only give them a couple more chances before walking away for good! This restaurant was, and hopefully will be again, really great for our city. Extremely disappointed.
LOOK AT THIS GORGEOUS FOOD Shoutout to Anna our waitress— she along with the entire team took amazing care of us. Checked in with us often and made sure we were happy! Floor managers had no problem talking with tables to make sure we were all good, but would have no qualms to clear and clean a table! You could tell that the team had a mutual respect for each other. Great to see strong leadership in action.
Decided to try this place out and let me tell you it did not disappoint! We were able to reserve a table online- and it was ready when we showed up! We started dinner with the ducks wings, my step son and wife each ordered a standard burger, and I had the prime rib. Dinner was outstanding! the server was incredible as well! She was attentive and Johnny one the spot! I Cant wait to try other menu items the next time we go! Well done and thanks for the great eating experience!
We always enjoy this dining gem. I had the Hawaiian Calamari that included a refreshing pineapple sweet and sour sauce. My wife had the Dungeness Crab Mac & Cheese. Both of these were on the Regional Feature portion of the menu. On past visits we’ve also enjoyed the Dr. Pepper Reduction & Bacon Brussels Sprouts. If you need a side veggie it is wonderful. Our server knew the menu well and service has always been pleasant.
My wife and I went in for a late lunch and we both ordered the venison burger. My wife asked for a gluten free bun and I exchanged my fries for mashed potatoes. My wife’s gluten free bun was as hard as a brick, couldn’t be cut with a knife! My mashed potatoes were cold. By the time our waitress checked on us we were more than half way through the food we could eat. We explained our issues to the waitress and she said she would correct our problems. Five minutes after we finished our meal our waitress came out with hot mashed potatoes. She never addressed my wife’s brick bun. When she brought the ticket the $3.00 gluten free bun up charge was still on the ticket. NOTHING was said or done to correct our experience!!! We will not be returning!
Really loved this place and possibly one of the best steaks Ive ever had. Will definitely be returning, after I sell a kidney or take out a second mortgage. Lol. Its actually very fair pricing considering the menu. But dont come if you arent ready to spend at least 60-70 per person. 💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is hands down the BEST steakhouse in Burleson. My husband brought me here for my birthday and we will be returning. Ill start with our server Kinzie. She was kind, attentive, personable, she knew her menu, and she was absolutely adorable. Good job Kinzie. We had the Hawaiian calamari as an appetizer, and I must say it was the best calamari Ive ever had. My husband had the ribeye and I had the filet. Both were cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth.... like butter. The drinks were on point as well. On top of everything, the manager. I believe his name was Christian visited our table several times and made sure our meal was perfect. Also another server, possibly a manager as well, I think her name was Meredith, approached us several times to make sure all was well. Manager acknowledgment is important to us. Makes for a family like experience. Be sure to save room for their amazing key lime pie. Great job guys. Youve set the bar very high for any competition. Keep up the good work. Also, if your visiting on a weekend, be sure to make reservations
One of the best steaks Ive had in a while all around great place! I had a great time the band there was a two-person duo!!! Sang country, old rock, new rock, alternative!! All in a volume that you could still have a great conversation or a date!! Ive upgraded to a five star review!! Ive been back multiple times and its been flawless every time!! Could possibly be my favorite place to go in Burleson Texas!
My wife and I have lived in Burleson for a long time and have gotten used to the fact that if we wanted a proper steak then we had to drive into Ft Worth.. Until tonight when we tried The Revelry. Our friend Otto recommended it to us and he has never been more right. The delicious food was only half of our first class dinner. I had the ribeye and I swear it tasted just like butter only better. It literally melted in my mouth. My wifes filet was even better. Our server Kinzie was so kind and funny. She made our night out together memorable and we dont get too many nights out. Her manager Meredith checked on us several times to make certain our meals were perfect. And Christian came by twice to check in and even blessed us with a complimentary piece of the best key lime pie Ive ever had. Weve already agreed to come back again and again every time we get a night out. And we dont even have to leave Burleson.
I have been here 4 times now and I would give 5 stars all 4 times!!! I always forget to take pics of the main meal because I eat it first and forget. Everything we have tried has been amazing.. our go to appetizer is the crab cakes and deviled eggs. Everyone who works here is so nice and helpful and makes it a point to make sure your evening here is top notch, even during COVID. The atmosphere and decor is beautiful. I was unsure of which wine I wanted to order and they let me have a taste to make sure before I ordered the correct bottle. The food is always cooked to perfection and tastes amazing. The prime rib is the best I’ve ever had and the shrimp and grits I’ve heard is amazing as well. The chefs cocktail recommendation was on point too. Beautiful and Delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and if you haven’t been yet you are missing out. Call for reservations to make sure you get a table and the outside area with live music is a lot of fun too.
If youre in search for a place to eat, this isnt for you. If youre looking to dine at an absolute culinary experience, read along.....Excellent food!! Excellent service!! And hands down - the absolute BEST fine dining experience in the Burleson. We took my parents there tonight for their 40th anniversary. While Im ashamed to admit this is my first time there (and Im a local), Im happy to write its my new regular! For a boat load of reasons: to start, the food was beyond exceptional. Chef Denise Shavandy has created a menu with fresh, exquisite, and delicious food that will send anyones pallet and taste buds soaring. I lived in Florida for seven years, and I became very fond of swordfish. Tonight I had the feature, which was a swordfish with risotto. I can 100% confidently say, this was THE BEST swordfish dish I have ever had in my life. I would get it over and over again! And the rest of our party had wonderful dishes that they raved about as well. Its very clear that she and her crew prepare each dish with finesse and care! And she came out to introduce herself and thank us for dinging there. She was the absolute most friendly and professional chef I have ever met! Our server, Anna, went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate our needs and requests. She did a tremendous job and next time I come back I will request to be in her section. She suggested ideas to help celebrate my parents anniversary, and she even suggested the swordfish feature. She was very knowledgeable of the menu, friendly, and attentive. If I were to go into the restaurant business tomorrow I would do everything I could to steal her! Thank you American Revelry and staff for an amazing experience!! I cant wait to come back! Looking forward to our next culinary experience!
Fantastic food and phenomenal wait staff. My friend recommended that the wife and I try this place and we were definitely impressed! I love the acoustics in this place. They were almost full, but the noise was minimal and it was very easy to carry on conversation. Food was on point and had incredible presentation. Very satisfied with the menu and service ❤
New place in town. Kinda in an odd spot but the food was spot on perfect. Every bit was tasty to the extreme. Their menu does have prices so plan accordingly, it can get pricy $$$.They have a Regional menu that changes ever so often. Right now is NY next is the Carolinas. Ill be sure to stop in again!!Buffalo Duck (no photo)Brined, braised, & fried, tossed in buffalo sauce, served with an apple, celery, & blue cheese slaw
The food and drinks here are great! My favorite is the burger, the hot chicken sandwich, and the brussels sprouts side dish. I also really appreciate how seriously they are taking the coronavirus pandemic. My husband and I choose to eat here when we want to go out because they’ve been one of the best in terms of taking precautions such as staff wearing masks and gloves and social distancing customers. I wish more Burleson restaurants would demonstrate the same care for their staff and customers. The only negative that I’ll say is the service can be very slow when it’s even slightly busy. If it’s not busy, service has been great.
I highly recommend coming by and taking a bite out of their comfort food. It is July 2nd, 2020. You are required to wear a mask even to the bathroom but once you choose a table, be it outside or inside in their sofa chairs or comfort seats you may take the mask off.The food is 10/10. This is most definitely a 5 star restuarant. The water they provide is purified, you can ask for straws. The waitresses all wear masks and are very helpful, answering every question, very polite. The music is very comforting bringing a style of soft pop and soft dubstep. Its very relaxing music. Ive never felt so chill in my entire life, this place is exotic, even the plates are smooth and well...comforting lol.I ordered the Regular Burger. The burger was slightly dripping to perfection. The meat was crispy and flavourable. And the fries were mouthwatering, crispy. I want moar!!The menu is accessible through your phone. You can scan their QR code at the front desk where they serve you. I am definitely coming back here with family. Pricing is good. Prices range from 9-15$ Water is free. Family meal was a total of 50$ between the three of us.
I can’t get over how amazing this experience was. I was blown away right from walking in with their beautiful atmosphere and friendly servers, hostess, and bartender. Tyler was amazing, Meredith was a joy to chat with, and all of the workers were attentive and so kind. The food tastes like it’s straight from farm to table, and I believe the drinks were the best quality I’ve had at a restaurant. They also had beautiful bathrooms which sounds weird, but trust me. 10/10 telling my friends to have all of their brunches, lunches, and dates here. I can’t wait to go back!
The food, the drinks, the environment and the staff are all worth coming back for again and again! The menu is always being updated so you’ll always get to try something delicious and different from their talented chef. The bartender, Kota, makes the BEST cocktails and their liquor selection is top notch. ask your server about the weekday deals and specials!
Was in town for our one year anniversary. Decided to go for brunch which was delicious and they had a good selection of alcohol. Went back for dinner and the food was awesome and atmosphere was comfortable but they did start playing some louder music later in the night. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Even if they didnt have an answer to your question they would do their best to figure it out. Would definitely go back again and recommend especially for special occasions.
The staff was great and the place is nice. There was a shortage of staff, they ran out of lobster tails, didnt have the steak I ordered, didnt have 1 of the 3 desserts on the menu and ran out of clean spoons.Edit: went back to see Suzy play. The drinks and appetizers were decent this time.
My work family attended the memorial service of one of our own yesterday. This restaurant happened to be across the street. With no notice, we walked in and asked if they could accommodate a party of 20. Not only did they put together a private room for us, but they brought us champagne on the house to toast the life of our dear friend. The staff was kind and attentive, and the food was awesome. Were facing a staffing shortage, but this restuarant still has people willing to go the extra mile for its customers - I highly recommend giving them a try!
My husband and I decided to try a new restaurant. Drove 25 minutes to be told they are reservations only and they were completely booked. There were atleast 3 empty tables.. when my husband called to asked if it was reservations only, he qas told NO. But we actually had 4 cancelations. We literally left 10 minutes prior with no option of waiting... really was looking forward to trying something new
Mediocre at best. Was not impressed with the $12 undercooked corn “dawg” appetizers- perhaps they were going for a “deconstructed” corn dog by serving it like this. This was quite unappealing to me, and I was turned off from even ordering a main dish.Once I was taking the picture of the doughy dog, the manager came over and asked if everything was okay. I asked them to replace with the appetizer with a cooked version, which they did. Unfortunately, the managers attempt to makeup for this mistake was a misstep, as he brought out an appetizer of trout dip. This was fine for the group I was with, but I have a fish allergy, so.... thanks? Maybe they could have asked what they could have offered to make it up.As I mentioned, I wasn’t planning on ordering a main dish at this point due to a lack of confidence in Revelry’s cooking abilities (if you can’t properly cook a corn dog, how are you going to handle a more complex dish?!).Nonetheless, the rest of my group was satisfied with their dishes. As for me, definitely not going back and will not recommend. It’s a shame too, as I was hoping for an upscale experience in Burleson where I could take customers or colleagues.
First time we went here we got up and left. Took forever to get a server to come to table (there were only about 10 in the restaraunt). This past weekend my boss had reservations for 6 of us at 7pm. Arrived on time and could not get seated until 8pm. Took forever to just get our drinks, had to alert someone to send our waitress over so we could order and when we did get our food it was cold. Will not be going back
This place is a great place to get food. They have a nice interior and then a great patio too if you want to eat outside. The staff was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The only problem was that they had a musician playing inside and the music was loud. Our waitress couldnt hear us and vice versa. If they turned down the amps or moved them to a different location then it would be excellent.
Too expensive you dont get anything special. I ordered fish and chips. The breading was very bland, thick, and chewy. She got a Reuben, but it was on ciabatta and it was actually good. The Cole slaw was mostly onions with mayo. We had two or three drinks each. 100 dollars plus tip. Nice place has potential, but I wont be coming back anytime soon. Maybe Ill try the brunch this fall
We sat outside in the patio area where they have fans with misters, very nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The reason i took off one star is I came for the prime rib but I wasnt that happy with it. The meat was a little tough, slightly overcooked and it very much needed salt. Im sorry to say I pay much less at Texas Roadhouse for their prime rib which is definitely better than this. The au jus that comes with the prime rib was almost flavorless, reminded me of a watered down bloody mary. My daughter had the half a chicken and it was delicious and we also enjoyed the deviled eggs although I dont really care for the beet pickling.. the egg whites should be soft not firm. We had them make us a mojito with no sugar and we added our own keto syrup we brought, it was awesome; they did a great job on that. I ordered the shrimp without the grits and the shrimped were huge and cooked to absolute perfection although it was missing any seasoning or salt but I suppose that would have come with the grits had i not excluded them. The portabella burger was a little weird but enjoyable.Overall I like the people and the place but have some issues with the food and its not cheap so I probably will not be able to come back here in the future. The outside area was great for kids and dogs so that is a bummer.
Must go! The new mgmt. at Revelry has really made this place special. We love the atmosphere there and Chef Denise is amazing in the kitchen. I love that I don’t have to go to Fort Worth or Dallas for dinner. We had the pork chops and Beet and Goat cheese salad. I don’t even like goat cheese and finished the entire salad. If you haven’t gone in awhile check it out, you won’t be disappointed. Also they had live music!!! Such a nice treat!
I love this place. We come here often for date night, family night, hanging out with friends, to just enjoying music. The food is individually made and not microwaved and you can tell the difference in the food. The people that work there are great as well and have become like friends, coming over and having short conversations.I always highly recommend this place when people ask where to eat.
It’s always amazing service here. We had a short wait for a table but they promptly got me some coffee while we waited. The bar staff was so nice, the servers are always fantastic. The food is absolutely amazing. The salmon eggs Benedict is hands down my favorite followed closely by the avocado toast.
Do not purchase a drink without confirming the price. A friend of mine and myself decided to get a shot of bourban before departing and requested two glasses of Colonel EH Taylor…. The bartender did not know the price and had to, “speak to the owner” before they could tell us the price, but after she had poured drinks. The owner decided, after we had been served, that the glasses were worth $50 each… I paid $100 for 3-4oz of mediocre bourbon… poor way to do business.
This was our first time to go and we will absolutely be back! We showed up with a large party and never felt like we were an inconvenience which is rare these days. Erica C was our server and she was phenomenal! We can’t rave enough about the service or the food. A must go!!
Very cute place but it was $250 for four adults and a 1 & 3 year old to have a very basic brunch buffet. You would assume it’s a nice spread but it wasn’t a very impressive buffet at all. They charged $8 for my 1 year old to have a few pieces of biscuit and half a strawberry.Love the outdoor area too. If they hadn’t price gouged us so bad we would probably return.
I had the shrimp and grits and they were fantastic. But my husband and daughter had the Alabama Half chicken with brussel sprouts and greens. The chicken had no flavor, greens were so spicy you couldnt eat them and the brussel sprouts were burnt. Drinks are way overpriced.. I so wanted to like this place and the food more......will come back and try lunch sometime and then see. On a positive note, the set up is great and the whole atmosphere is nice.
Great experience and most of the food was great. I think they may be working out some new business/COVID kinks. We had the crab cakes and the chefs lemonade which were both DELICIOUS! My husband had the Sirloin steak and Brussel Sprouts. The steak was cooked perfectly medium well (ask requested) but needed a little more flavor. Still a great steak. The brussel spouts are by far the best we’ve ever had... tons of flavor! I ordered the shrimp and grits. I normally love all of these things separately but I felt it was maybe a little too rich and over drenched the dish (for me at least)... a drizzle of sauce over the dish and more veggies and shrimp would have been better to me. When the waitress asked what I thought about our food, I was honest with her and they were very polite and quick to get me something else to eat. Overall great experience and I’m looking forward to coming back!
Best place in burleson! Date nights here are delicious and set the mood. Our bartender Bryan was incredibly knowledgeable and catered to our orders. We appreciated the staffs attentiveness to the food and how our experience was. Always a good night here! A place you want to stop by for a fancy dinner. You wont find food like this anywhere else!
Wonderful hospitality, ambiance, open, and inviting atmosphere with excellent service. Calamari appetizer top notch and generous portion size for 2 or more. SKIP the brussels, unparallel to other dishes, and focus on items that are seasonally appropriate and locally fresh. We sat at the bar and had a great experience with good conversations with the bartenders. Check their calendar of events for extra activities like music on Friday nights and Sunday brunch specialties. Cornhole outside!Although the menu is pricey the value and quality of the meal is solid. Dont be afraid to mention that your dish is subpar if it really is, and doesnt reflect the exquisite culinary flair that the chefs take pride in preparing for you. They need the feedback to ensure the menu embodies the ultimate experience for your palate. You wont be disappointed with the service and generous portions for sharing courses, and of course the excellent presentation. Very glad we took a quick detour off I35 to eat here during rush hour.
What a hidden gem in Burleson. Great food and service. Sunday brunch was very good with one slight exception, wanted runny eggs for my has and it was over cooked. Wifes was a bit as well but not terribly. Hash, grits, fritters and everything else was spot on.Staff was very friendly and worked the room very well. We dont live here but next trip to Fort Worth will warrant another visit.
American Revelry has become a family staple for us. Any time we go out to eat or want to share a meal with friends, American Revelry is our #1 choice. We have taken the time to get know the folks who work there, and while this business has the typical turnover rate for a restaurant, the folks who have stayed are considered dear friends. Since our first visit pre-COVID19, we have been greeted warmly, served kindly, and fed exceedingly well. I would be doing this place a disservice if I did not mention Christians hospitality, passion for service, and love for his guests. His love flows through the restaurant and through his employees. The restaurant itself is a comfortable atmosphere with cozy seating that still seems fancy. Its a great aesthetic that blends class and comfort seamlessly. The parking is convenient and free, so thats always a bonus when visiting a restaurant as high-quality as AR. The outdoor seating is wonderful, when the weather allows. The covered area lets you enjoy the outdoors without baking in the sun.The hosts and servers are always kind, and you can tell they really work hard to treat guests well. I have to speak to a biased towards one of their servers that recently moved to a different opportunity - since they re-opened after shutting down for COVID19 last year, we always asked for Keegan. He is a shining example of the love, hard work, and world-class service Christian tries to make the golden standard for the entire building. Since Keegan will always be the standard for service, few restaurants can live up to him. Thankfully, Christian has a great team and works hard to keep the standard of service high. Folks like Meredith who continue to make every visit special and full of joy fill the void that Keegan left for us. When you stop in, make sure to meet Meredith. Now the FOOD. Admittedly, AR has had its ups and downs over the years. Theyve had amazing chefs whove gone off to other opportunities, but their new chef - local TX legend Denise Shavandy?! Wow, shes been a great addition to the AR family, and we have been in love with every one of her chefs creations weve had the pleasure of trying. Im looking forward to the new seasonal menu shes been working (COMING SOON). Whether its a perfectly seasoned steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus or a traditional american breakfast or a delicious take on shrimp and grits, you will enjoy it. Its rare an error is made, but no one is perfect - and when provided feedback the staff take it seriously and work diligently to address any issues. Your experience is what matters most, so they will serve in any way they can to make your experience a treasured one.If you havent made American Revelry a go-to in your choices of night out, weekend brunch, or work week lunch - do it! You will not regret it. If you let them, these folks will become friends and family that will make every visit a cherished memory. Drive on out and give the family a try.
Amazing! Very cute decor, building, yard, and patio. Yard games and Live music some nights as well. The staff is great especially Meredith and Tyler. They were so much fun. They really listen and helped me picking one of there amazing cocktails. Pureed coconut and kiwi with Malibu rum and a lime slice. So refreshing! The menu has so many good choices. We got the Dr. Pepper Brussel sprouts, grilled asparagus, filet Mignon w/garlic butter, and Alabama chicken w/ collard greens and mac and cheese. We were all eating off each others plates and it was all super delicious. The smoked gouda cheese in the mac really shined. Everything was so good we got to meet the chief Denise and she is of course the nicest women. And from what the staff say shes really great to work with. This is a more high end restaurant. You can so go in there and spend under a 100 but its easy to spend way over that. Most expensive lunch we have ever had but also the best tasting lunch I have ever had, complimented with amazing service. Will be back. Thanks guys!
5 stars for wait staff, our waitress was amazing. 4 star for food, drink. Little pricy but the steak was perfect. The sides were mediocre. The 3 star is for the atmosphere, at first it was pleasant, then about 30 min into it they had a guy with a guitar, and another guy with drums playing in the restaurant, it was so loud, I couldnt even have a conversation with my husband. It felt like I was at a bar. It said on instragram he would be playing outside on the patio but HE DID NOT. It was terrible, especially if you wanted to have a nice quiet evening 😒. Everything total was 150 dollars and it felt like a sports bar. We will probably never go back. Also, seating is way to close, I could have reached out and touched the people next to us. If you are going to charge the price of an upscale restaurant you cannot run like a sports bar.
Great expectations.... VERY DISAPPOINTING, order rib eye (it was ok), seafood gumbo was warm (I should said more in the cold side) brussels sprouts served on an iron skillet... also warm (several pieces were cold) I think the skillet should have been sizzling. The were flies and gnats all over our food.... definitely a turn off. It was a pretty expensive and disappointing experience!Maybe in the future we would like to come back and hopefully have a better experience
I would have rated this 5 stars for the food as it was excellent. We had the smoked salmon eggs benedict, crab benedict, and avocado toast with sunny side eggs. The hollandaise sauce was delicious and the eggs perfectly cooked. Our only issue was service, it was very slow, and not attentive. They were very apologetic, but still it marred the experience. Will definitely go again because of the food.
This place is an absolute home run. Top notch service, top notch food, and very good drinks. My server was attentive and checked on us the perfect amount of times. The food was prompt and cooked to perfection. While decore doesnt matter to me much, this place is very cool on the inside. Cant Cant to go back for a steak soon.
Super welcoming and on top of the bar game Dakota, V and Kane were extremely good looking and very prompt on taking our drink orders. Super sweet and consideret Not over crowded awesome atmosphere. Owner was super sweet and charismatic. I love the food its amazing! Like mouth watering
Place very overrated! 3 ladies at our table ordered the salmon, waiter came back 10 minutes later and said we only have 1 piece of salmon left. So 2 ladies changed their order. Waiter came back 5 minutes later and said sorry while we were talking someone took the last salmon so no one can have salmon at our table. You order a filet and it doesnt come with any sides u have to get sides extra. I ordered Jack and Coke. They charge me $10. For the Jack and $1.50 to add Coke to it in the receipt. High prices and nickel and dime you! Not worth it!!!
I want to give this place a 5 since its so close to where I live and the food was great, atmosphere was awesome. The service was the issue, started out good appetizers and table was ready, but after that it took more then 30min for the main meals to come had to order my kids drink 3 different times with 2 different servers ( finally ae at the end of the meal) granted we were a large party but still ridiculous. Brought the wrong desserts ( it was for a birthday) ...again I really want to like this place and for our anniversary this month we are going to give it another go
My wife and I were anxious to try this place so we made reservations for our anniversary. The moment we were seated I asked the waiter to please clean our table as it had something on it. He informed me that he just wiped it down. I pointed out several oil spots which he ignored. I ended up cleaning it myself with germ gel. When it came time to order the steak I wanted was on a limited menu; however, the waiter assured me that I could order it only to find out I couldnt. They push alcohol very hard. I have no idea if the drinks are good or not. I will say the food is marginal at best. I ordered scallops, which I love, I did not finish them. The highlight of my meal was rice. I suspect everything tastes better if you drink enough alcohol.I certainly will not go back nor recommended it. The service was abysmal followed by lackluster food.
Incredible, y’all!! I have had their brunch twice now and it’s fantastic. The food quality is exceptional as are the flavors. The wait staff are very attentive and I appreciate they don’t require masks now. It is a jewel of a restaurant and the decor is awesome. If you’ve never tried it, it’s a MUST for Burleson!
The food met my taste/portion/cost ratio nicely! I had the half chicken entree which included a smoked then fried half chicken which was amazing...smokey, moist chicken with a flavorful, crispy skin. The included sides of baked apples and mac n cheese were terrific compliments. Alabama sauce (its like a tangy ranch sauce) is great, too! I wish I would have asked for it on the side...its poured on the chicken and gets in the baked apples which, to me, is a weird mix.The ambiance was great too! Went during Covid-19 restrictions and the entire staff was wearing masks and the menu was a provided via a QR code. Service was quick and friendly. I cant wait to go back!
Food was very good. Steak was cooked perfectly, and the honey mashed potatoes were something I’ve never experienced. The environment is top notch, especially for Burleson. However wait staff forgot about us. Would have spent a lot more money but grew tired of waiting for someone to come by. We were the only table they had. Shame, hope they can fix thatEDIT: second visit. Greeted by hostess who was on a personal call on their cell phone. Had to waiting until she was done. Plenty of employees sitting in the private dinning area who could great me instead . Just annoying when I’m willing to drop some decent cash on good food for lunch for me and my wife. Regardless, she was very pleasant after her call, and the food was outstanding! Not kidding. This chief is amazing. Best salmon I’ve ever had. Please tighten up on customer service, because you all could pull off something truly exceptional. Shame that’s the only issue I’ve had now twice in a row, I will be back tomorrow with my wife for oysters and drinks. The kitchen is worth it.
Cute little hidden gem 💎!! First time with a friend for brunch. Excellent customer service. The hostess was sweet and sat us quickly. Our server gave us different options of mimosas. I got both the orange and cranberry. So delicious! Our meals were quickly delivered and plated very beautifully. It looked too fancy to eat. Haha Oh man, the food tasted super fresh and amazing. I ordered the steak benedict. Hands down, THE BEST benedict I have ever found/tasted!!! Eggs poached to perfection. Hollandaise sauce had a twist to it, that I just couldnt get enough of.I will definitely frequent this place. Again and again. Look forward to visiting very soon.
My wife and I just went to American Revelry to get out of the house and celebrate our anniversary and we absolutely loved this place! The concept is really cool how they rotate their menu and highlight foods from different regions of the country. The decor inside even goes along with the theme. Anyways, what really matters is the food and service and both were amazing! Our server was so friendly and attentive and offered us champagne on the house to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered the NY strip steak and the prime rib and both were awesome and perfectly cooked. The outdoor seating area is really cool and after we had dinner we went outside and enjoyed some wonderful live music. The misting fans are a great addition for the hot summer nights! I don’t know what took us so long to check this place out (Covid maybe...) but this will for sure be one of our regular places to go out to now. Burleson definitely needs more places like this!!! 🥂🍾🥩
Amazing filet mignon, mashed potatoes and wonderful fried cheesecake! Had an anniversary lunch here and it was magnificent! My husband had the orange glazed salmon with rice and asparagus. Our server was so sweet she made our meal very memorable! The chef has a specialty drink with thyme, lemonade amd vodka, so delicious. Great addition to restaurant choices in Burleson!
Overall flavors of dishes were just way too strong and too much of everything! The chicken was extremely dry and the steak wasnt even seared. Drink mixers for the take home packages were just awful. Our waitress was very nice and the restaurant itself was very nice and thats the reason for the 2 stars, but the food was no where up to par for our 160 dollar bill. Most likely will not return.
From start to finish my experience here was just fantastic, placing a reservation was easy and the staff was incredibly friendly. I had the 7oz sirloin steak and my girlfriend ordered the salmon stir fry and both dishes were cooked to perfection, and drinks were refilled consistently. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good food and good people. Definitely a new favorite.
I am so thrilled this place is open! The atmosphere is warm and the service was fantastic. All of the food my table ordered was great and well priced. However, I ordered this shrimp and grits for brunch and was disappointed. It was overpriced and under-seasoned. I am looking forward to coming back, but Ill probably stick with the chicken and waffles or biscuits and gravy.
Service and Presentation a 5. Food, I would have to give 2 stars. Bourbon Glazed Salmon was very dry and the Ribeye was nothing special needs something to make it stand out, maybe like a cowboy coffee rub. Neither justify the price. I had high hopes from everything I had heard of AR. We were seated by the kitchen. In which we got to see a lot of the dishes being served. Like I said they all had nice presentation, just lacked the flavor and texture to back them up.
Here’s the deal.... you want a fantastic experience with some of the best food around..GO HERE.. my wife and I were musicians and played at this venue , they treated us so well and comped our food. Took care of our family that showed up.... that burger we had ... legit best burger I’ve ever had ! No joke. COME HERE !
My wife and I made reservations and had a date night at The Revelry last weekend. It was great!! We shared the Beet Infused Deviled Eggs, Shrimp and Grits and the Banana Split for desert. Everything was delicious and our server was superb!! Love having this chef owned restaurant in Burleson. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.
Not a good experience. I got the steak and could barely chew it. I had to send it back. The apologized of course. I got the salmon instead and it was better. The sangria was not a sangria. It took an hour for my friend to get her drink. The atmosphere was great for sure. I won’t be back unless it shuts down and becomes something Different.
Sophisticated and warm restaurant with a diverse menu. The staff was very attentive and the build out was extremely nice and inviting. Great spot for a business lunch or dinner with the family and friends. I had the Winter Citrus Salad with seared Ahi Tuna and it was fantastic. Food was extremely fresh and our entire table had nothing but good things to say about their meal. Ill be back!
Hands down this is the place to be for Valentines Day! Everything is so exquisite from the decor of the restaurant, the food itself, the entertainment from the kitchen staff and the intimate seating flow. I went for my wedding anniversary and I was blown away by this restaurants attention to detail, food presentation and taste, and the signature cocktails were amazing. They even gave us an anniversary card signed by owner and Chef Eric OConner himself and his entire staff. Im definitely a repeat customer, the food is superb. They even have brunch and lunch specials too. They even have an outdoor patio with huge TVs to
Went for my birthday this week and had a wonderful experience and dinner. Fabulous appetizers and had the best prime rib Ive eaten in 20 years. Met the Owner/Chef who was a Great guy. The wait staff was beyond compare, friendly, helpful and genuine. Well worth the money.
So disappointing! We ordered the New York strip and my husband ordered shrimp and grits. I had to ask for salt for my steak, the glaze was so sweet and overpowering. A few bites in my steak tasted like gas, I did not even take the rest of it for my dog. My husband said the shrimps and grits were piled high with overly sweet tomatoes. We wanted to go sit on the patio with our drinks, we were told by the waitress that we could not even sit outside because people were waiting for a table. This is even though we were not even at a table. While eating two other tables sent their food back beside us. This was our second time to eat there, and our last.
This by far sets the standard for class and cuisine in Johnson County..The staff is amazing and cater to your every need with prompt response. The cuisine is unlike any in the area and are offered with excellence in every way imaginable, from appearance, plating And the Amazing taste of these finely thought out and put together dishes. The Shrimp and grits are amazing and compare equally to the best I’ve had in Memphis. The blackened Red Snapper is so good you’ll find yourself trying to wrap your head around the question of how in the hell is this so good in Burleson Texas as you take your time chewing and savoring every bite. They have a wonderful beer selection as well as cocktails and if you really want to get this experience started right you will order the Trout dip and chips topped with red roe. What ever you do, don’t take my word for it, just load up your family and friends and get there and you will find out the goodness that our town and county have been missing for years. My new favorite place😊😊😊
Went for Valentines Dinner, second time, not sure they have decided, fine dining or sports bar. Menu was simple and precise. Ordered the surf and turf, steak medium well came out well, absolutely No Pink...lobster tail was 1/2 of a regular tail. We were not asked to cut the steak before the server left(normal request at a high end restaurant). Melissa our waitress came by and took them back. Came back medium much better but not what we ordered. Salad was good and cake was mediocre. You need to decide fine dining or sports bar??? I would like for you to succeed as we don’t have travel to FW. Paid Del Frisco or Capital Grill $$$
The Revelry is just what Burleson needed. An upscale feel, top notch dining experience and yet affordably wonderful. The food is fantastic and locally sourced. The Old Fashioned’s are classic and tasty. Highly recommend. Ask for Meredith or Keegan and you will be happily satisfied.
This is the PLACE to eat Chef Eric and his WIFE are very talented. The menu is wonderful. His signature dish is Grits And SHRIMP. THE Buffalo DUCK wings are too delishish. I have not attended the weekend brunch. His menu covers all taste. The interior decorating of the restaurant is beautiful and inviting. The staff are so pleasant. I think I would enjoy stopping by for coffee and dessert. He also has a monthly menu. That host culinary specials from around the East Coast. Tell them I sent you over....
It’s great to see something different here in Burleson! I thought the location was great and it was well decorated and laid out. The menu was interesting with a few signature dishes but I saw a lot of burgers and sandwiches, which is what you find all over town. I’m excited to see how they evolve with different menu options. The drinks are delicious, the pecan whiskey drink is a must try!
My husband and I went and had an early dinner today. it was our first time, and I had mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary. Could not have had better service from our server Melissa, and the staff signed a card for us. highly recommend this wonderful place. food was great too.
Absolutely love this place! Highly recommended!!! I have been here 3 times, first time I got the burger with the duck egg... ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE! The frys were perfectly cooked and the house made spicy ketchup is fantastic... pickles too. The second time we got a treat as we came in as they were preparing for their next seasonal menu change. Chef Eric came out and asked if we would like to try the pulled pork sandwich. The entire group I was with said yes and boy howdy can this man cook! The meat was tender the coleslaw(I normally can’t stand coleslaw) was amazing and the sauce that came on the side was absolutely a perfect addition to the pork. Both times on this go we had the fried cheesecake!!! GET THOSE YOU WONT REGRET IT!This last time which was tonight. I got the 1/2 chicken. The way it comes with the Mac n cheese and apples. It was fantastic. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. The whole meal was amazing. We had desert, me and my family split the pineapple cake and the s’mores. And they were good. But I understand why they are coming off the menu. Not as good as the cheesecake.Furthermore the waitstaff is amazing and prompt on keeping drinks filled, checking into you after the food as arrived and making sure everything is good and to your satisfaction. Enjoyed this place every time we have been. We will definitely be back... over and over again. Thank you for opening your restaurant in burleson. Absolutely love it.-Garrett
Nice place for sure but way, I mean way overpriced. We bought 6 oysters for $20 bucks and got 4 slices of fried green tomatoes for $11 bucks. What a jokeI don’t mind spending money on good food but at least make your food worth buying. Looks like this place is geared for that new sub-division built behind the restaurant. Remember your still in Burleson Tx, not Austin.
Best experience yet at American Revelry, Tim was a real bright spot this evening, Vincent-the manager- also offered great hospitality. Our server, June, was very helpful, the Half Chicken is a great experience of Seasoned, Savory and Sweet with the macaroni-n-cheese paired with the spiced apples. (loved the brussel sprouts!) We took the pineapple upside down cake to go! Give them a try, youll love it like we did.
This is “hands down“ the classiest restaurant in town. Food is excellent, the environment is fabulous, and the Sunday lunch live music is fantastic. The Sunday lunch live music is a professional performance worthy of the Bass Hall. Catch this duo before they make it to the Big Time.
This place is wonderful! My husband and I went today and loved everything about it. The atmosphere, music, service and food where great. We finally found a place to invite family and friends to join us for great meals in Burleson. This was so needed in our town. Planning to become regulars.
My wife and I came in. Beautiful place! Ordered drinks. I got something I didnt ask for.. They corrected it. Her strawberry mojito wasnt that great. So we ordered food. Duck wings were really good! Not much meat but tasty! She ordered the burger with no pink and I got the prime rib medium rare. Steak came out perfect. I didnt say anything but it was the most bland prime rib Ive ever had. And the auju sause, nope, didnt add anything to the experience.. Almost flavorless. So her burger came out and it was pink. Id eat it! But not what she ordered. So they had to remake it. Our waitress was very friendly, but after paying our bill we did leave feeling a little salty. I expected greatness honestly. Id really love to come back but idk..
We decided to try American Revelry tonight. We live right around the corner and always see it, so we figured it was time. Unfortunately, it just wasnt for us. I think I have a very...cheap... pallet lol I didnt really like the flavor of my burger (nor did my husband). BUT I dont think it was the restaurants fault. I think it was because our taste isnt quite as refined as the restaurants cooking. I had thought about ordering egg on my burger (which isnt an option right now anyway, but I didnt know) and found out they were duck eggs lol I am not the right demographic for this restaurant lol and thats ok. Even though we ordered to-go,v it was presented very nicely. The restaurant itself is really nice and the atmosphere was inviting. Not to mention the location is really great. I feel like the prices are fair for what youre getting. It just wasnt for me. I could see my mother-in-law really enjoying this though.
My daughter and I ate at the new American Revelry restaurant in burleson last night. The food was good. However, the bartender was very condescending to the young staff behind the bar with him. It was like being at a cheap restaurant. That was annoying considering it isn’t cheap. The worst... he came up behind us and pointed at a young woman behind the bar and said “you’re with me” and then pointed to a room. The young girl seemed surprised. She sat down with him at a table where another employee was eating. I believe she was there to witness. After that the girl was gone. I asked the female bartender where she went. She just said home. I am 99.9% sure the condescending rude male bartender fired her. It really ruined our night there. This was not a show for patrons. However, I think he wanted people to know who was boss! Incidentally when we first arrived there was a man sitting near us eating. Later he was behind the bar. He is either a manger or owner. Not sure but apparently he was ok with the behavior. Very disappointed in the culture here. It is toxic.
If you are tired of drive through fast food, like me, you are going to want to check this place out! Orders are for 2 people during COVID-19. Steak, potatoes with broccoli was yummy! The salad was beyond!! I could also get spicy margarita that is ready to add alcohol at home (alcohol was included). The mix was so good even w/o alcohol. 😂 I am so happy to have this great restaurant in Burleson during this pandemic. Order for curbside pickup today!!!!
We had dinner there last night to celebrate some birthdays. The food was great the service was good but be careful when paying your bill . Our bill was $113 + and we left a $20 cash tip but on checking our bank account this morning we found that $142 + was withdrawn from our accout
Y’all!!!! We went Revelry for dinner tonight to celebrate my birthday and could not have been treated better ...the atmosphere and food were 5🌟In fact, they had a sweet birthday card waiting for me at our table signed by everyone in the restaurant and Chef Eric stopped by our table to check on us. The food is amazing and they made us feel so welcome- just like family. So thankful we have this gem of a restaurant in Burleson❤️#mynewfaverestaurant
My lady friend and I were there Saturday and ordered the Brunch menu . The food was excellent as was the service. It’s a little pricey for me on a fixed income, but my lady and I plan on celebrating my 83rd birthday in June and her 77 th in November at your restaurant and we don’t live near Burleson .
They should have a brunch service! And they should have better sign placement so you Kno where they are! **Edited*** just seen a reply from owner that they do have a brunch service, thats super awesome, but you may wanna update the Google page my husband and I enjoy a Sunday brunch every week and it would have been nice to drive 5 min down the road inside of all the way to southlake
I was so excited for an upscale place to finally come to Burleson. Its a sandwich place with a very select main course menu (ex. 1/2 a chicken). Im still holding out for a culinary place to realize Burleson needs more than burgers and BBQ. Great looking place with potential Ill keep checking back with Hopes the menu changes.
So very happy to have American Revelery in Burleson. Casual but upscale vibe. Chef-driven menu. A great wine list. A fantastic outdoor space. During brunch, really, really good coffee. American Revelry is what many Burleson-ites drive to Fort Worth for....right here at home!
First time eating here and me and my girlfriend had a wonderful experience, waitress was VERY attentive almost too much, drinks and food were unique and tasty, they didnt have a drink ready to go that we asked for so they gave us 3 complimentary drinks, can’t ask for better service.

2022-06-12A must try! Hands down my favorite dining experience Ive had in recent memory. I am new to the Fort Worth area from Vegas and have had a fair amount of high end dining and this place is top notch.First let me say that it is easy to set a reservation via OpenTable. You might not always need it but they not only had a table ready for us they gave us a better table for more privacy since we were on a date. The service was A+ from the hostess to the wait staff to anyone we had contact with. Friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and gave excellent recommendations. They have a wonderful bar area that isnt intrusive to the dining experience. With lots of great wine selections as well as some excellent signature cocktails! I highly recommend thier Verizon of the mule. Honestly they all sounded amazing and both the drinks we had were phenomenal. We had the pimento cheese dip starter and I didnt think you could make an elevated pimento cheese but it was delicious and the choice of crackers and veggies with it were great pairings.I had the shrimp and grits. Im a southern boy and these were some damn good grits. Thick but creamy. Shrimp were not overcooked and fresh. The sauce was amazing and we even had a staff member suggest some sourdough bread to sop up the sauce with. Again an excellent suggestion! My date had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked and had an amazing flavor profile. Sweetz salty and a little smoky. Very good size too!On top of all that I personally have to give a shout out to whoever curates thier playlist. It was excellent! A good mix and it helped set the vibe just as much as the decor did.You have to try this place at least once and its like getting a tattoo you will want to come back and get more. They even change their menu and source their food locally.

2022-07-09Service is really amazing. We had the shank it was very tasty but the sides are below average. Mashed potatoes was as plain as KFC.Drinks are really good and well served.Atmosphere very comfortable and chick.

2022-06-02The American Revelry is the place to experience excellence and quality in your dining experience. The ambiance is extraordinary, the salmon is prepared to perfection and with the orange glaze, it becomes an exquisite dish. The staff is very well trained and it was a joy dining with them.

2022-01-16Wonderful place. Sat at the bar and our bartender was amazing. She made the best old-fashioned. I had the winter salad with chicken which was perfectly dressed. My bf had the short ribs and that was cooked perfectly as well. We took a chocolate mousse cake slice home and it really topped off the night. 10/10. Make reservations if you dont want to sit at the bar.

2022-07-02A wide variety of exotic (my terminology) food. Half the menu did not appeal to my taste. So we went with a steak and tacos. We did have a steak that was extremely tender and flavorful. I would go back for that but it is pricey. The tacos were extremely good. The sides were family size and were good. The desserts were even more tasty. Service was very good.

2022-07-1610 out of 10 for American Revelry! From the hostess, our waiter Keagan (who is a 1st time expectant Dad very soon, Congrats), to the GM, William (as well, on his 3rd baby boy, YAY!), the Chef 👩🍳 Denise, to the bar staff, heck even the bathrooms were perfection!!I took my husband Gilbert out for an early Bday dinner (its on the 18th) & let me tell you, they made all our food/drink/environment experience the absolute BEST!! We did not reserve a table, it was pretty spontaneous, but we were graciously welcomed in by everyone. We will definitely be regulars & will bring the kids next time.We started off with a few adult concoctions, chilled & fully dressed to satisfy our palette! I am NOT a fan at all of Bloody Marys but our waiter recommended it plus I ordered the mule, hands down both were divine! On to our appetizer, the Salmon & Chip dip was pure bliss.Being his Bday we decided to share the 36 oz Tomahawk steak topped with the bone marrow butter (mouth drooling like Homer btw); with the Mac n cheese & asparagus shareable sides. That steak was cooked to perfection, 1st time Ive never had to use a steak sauce, it was SO juicy & delicious they even let us bring home the bone to show the boys our kill lol. We finished up with a few Blood & Honeys & the smoked aged Old Fashions that was absolutely amazing!William, you have a vision like no other & we highly respect that & love to check out new places & also to be able to take our littles as well, is the cherry on top for us!! I cant wait to come back & enjoy the outdoors atmosphere with you guys real soon!!!! #FamilyFun #AmericanRevelry #BurlesonOnTheMap #HappyBirthday

2022-06-29This place is good. Service was good. Food concepts were there and creative. They were well composed and thought out. The portion sizes were a little off kilter. There were 5 quail breasts (which was perfect) but 3/4 a plate of the sweet potato hash. 3 bites of hash for every bite of quail! Overall a great experience!
