Got my vehicle inspected. Service was really fast. I probably sat in the waiting area for like 5 minutes.
Made an appointment here for 4-15-2022 at 1:00PM. They emailed me a confirmation saying they had me booked for that time. Showed up... they said they had no knowledge of my appointment and that it would be at least 3:00PM before they could get to me. Will never attempt to go here again.
The assistant manager was very detailed and specific on the type of oil that is necessary and needed for the year make and model of my car.I explained that I heavily rely on my vehicle to 1.5 hour commute to and from work 6 days a week.The oil change was done right away along with my refills of all my fluids, checking my tires and additional recommendations... Yup my back wiper was shot and I needed a new air filter.Fast and efficient... I got out of there I n about 15 buy hey dont quote me to the letter on the exact time but it was fast.Im happy with my experience that all I can say...

I took my vehicle to be serviced due to my heater not working. I own a 2000 Lincoln. Adam and the guys had to take off the dash and work with some old wires. I picked up my truck and everything was fixed and running perfectly. I will definitely continue to bring my vehicle to American’s Oil Change and Repair. Thanks guys for putting the dragon back in my truck!!!
The shop is neat and tidy. I was a bit skeptical about using them for a large repair (Water pump and spark plug replacement on a Toyota Sienna which is a huge job) but they did a great job for a great price. They kept me informed of their progress and were done when then said they would be done.
To preface I have come here for my oil change at least 3 times previously. It was always done correctly which is why I kept coming back. I bring my own oil and filter which previously was $20 for the service but now $40 which is fine. I noted before starting the oil change that there is an oil cooler that needs to be drained with the pan and there will be oil left over. Mike said there is not, I have changed oil on this car I know there is. In all previous visits the oil cooler was drained without issue. But Mike knew better despite only using 7.5 quarts on a car that calls for 9.3 in their own system. After the change and there being oil left over proving my point. Mike was arrogant and dismissive. I paid more for an incomplete oil change. I will not be returning.
It was just ok. Ive been there before and the service was good. I just wanted the basic oil change. I was charged extra because my receipt said my ford took a special filter. I didnt want any other services, just an inexpensive oil change. I went here because I prefer to give the smaller shops my business when I can. Firestone and NTB would have both been less expensive. No big deal, I just wont come back. I was told my car was low on oil when they preformed the service, barely on the tip of the dip stick. When I was given my invoice it said no oil was showing on the dip stick. The car is old has leaks and probably burns some oil but it seems shady to me that I was told it was very low on the dip stick before they started service then my receipt says it showed no oil on the dip stick. Which is it, very low or none?
Went by for basic oil change. Unfortunately my starter went out while there. It was friday afternoon and I needed my truck to work Saturday so I agreed to $568 for repair. Once I got home, shopped around and contacted two parts stores, the starter should have been $165-210 and one hour labor at $120, maybe 1 1/2 hours for $200. I did not recieve an itemized statement so I dont know what I paid for. Service was good and prompt and I appreciated the quick repair. Just feel I was overcharged.
I went in a few weeks back and worked with Adam. I highly recommend working with him on whatever your car may need. He helped me and even went out of his way to make sure I got a good price. Thank you Adam!
They will never touch our cars again. We were consistent clients for over 3 years and in the end they refused to do right by us. They charged us repeatedly for the same brake issue for a year never fixing the problem. They kept telling us this needed to be fixed or that needed to be done but in the end our brakes were never fixed just poorly patched charging us almost 2 thousand dollars. After everything was said and done their manager says that they cant fix the brakes. We had a warranty and when the owner was made aware of this he says that there is nothing he can do about it siting labor and shop cost. He could have made it right by honoring his warranty and giving us a refund since they admitted that they could not fix the brakes but he refused. So needless to say they will never get our business again.
Amazing people and business very good at what they do and no over charging.. they get the job done and warranty there work.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this company for any vehicle service. I did not feel valued as they held my truck for 24 hours to do a brake change, when I was told it would only take 3.They broke an electrical component (a speed sensor) in my new truck and didn’t replace the component - they only “fixed the wires” - so now I must go get it replaced at a different shop.To top it all off I paid 80$ for an alignment that they never did. When I confronted them after taking the truck and realizing it wasn’t even close to straight they sent me to their alignment shop to get it “realigned” - the mechanic at that shop stated the truck never came in. I paid America’s $80 for an alignment and the shop they take the vehicles to for alignment only costs 60$ - so they are charging an extra 20$ for themselves.Very dishonest and a horrible experience. I will not be returning.
Was amazingly quick! Was there for oil change and get my tires aired back up and thought Id be there around an hour. Only ended up being 15 minutes! Was very impressed!
This was my second time going here for an oil change. I would say that the second time was a better experience. This time my techs name was nick and I feel like he was the reason I will return for more service. He took the time to walk me put to my car and show me different maintenance that needed to be done. He was very knowledgeable and gave me confidence that my car was in good hands.The only hiccup, was that my glove box cable was not reattached before I left and there were oily hand prints all over my car.Nick did fix the situation, and I will be back.
I contacted Americas Oil Change & Auto Repair to inspect a vehicle I was looking to purchase just down the road. I live over 500 miles away, saw the vehicle online and wanted to verify the condition before I made the trip. Nick took the call and I believe he also did the inspection. It came back clean according to them, except for some minor cosmetic damage underneath that posed no threat.After driving ALL THE WAY TO HALTOM CITY, I see that the car was not as promised. It had a long list of cosmetic and mechanical issues. After turning down the car at Drive City Motors (see my review there for an in-depth list of issues), I drove to Americas Oil to let them know what they did and demand a refund.I spoke to Nestor, who claimed to be the manager, and he basically told me that they would not refund me the money, so here we are. Dont trust these people to be honest or have decent business practices. What a waste of a trip!

When I arrived at my scheduled time to drop my car off for repair they had no one to give me a ride home and I couldn’t wait so they agreed to come to my home and pick my vehicle up. I truly appreciated that gesture! However when my vehicle was returned to me there was oil stains on my front driver seat and steering column. And now I’m having a hard time getting that out 😩 I have light blue cloth seats so you can’t hide it. I just wish they would have put plastic on my seats and washed their hands before they left oil all on the inside of my car. Don’t get me wrong these guys have kept my car in great running shape BUT it’s the oil stains that have me very irritated because now I have to pay to get my car detailed to get it out of my cloth seats. I just hope they see this and look to invest in plastic covering to go inside someone’s car BEFORE they sit in it and ruin someone else’s seatsUPDATE:I’ve changed their rating to 5 star because they took care of detailing my seats to get the oil out! These guys are amazing! They keep my car running in tip top shape AND they are willing to correct their mistakes! Thank you! I definitely do recommend getting your car serviced here!

They did my state inspection in 30 min with the place crowded on a Saturday.
There are 2 reasons I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5. First, I waited for 2 hours until my vehicle was finished getting its oil changed and was originally quoted 1 hour. No one came in to update me on the timeline. Admittedly I did come in on a Saturday afternoon so I expected it to be busy, it’s more the fact that no one kept me informed.Second, I drive a vehicle that is about 7 years old. I work at an auto repair center and have access to all kinds of information that helps me make decisions on the maintenance required on my car. I was told by one of their technicians that I needed to have my transmission serviced, seeing as how it hadn’t been done in about 60,000 miles and quoted me $180 to do it while stressing the importance of it. So come Monday morning I asked my center manager and shop guys about it. Turns out that it’s not really a required thing to do on my vehicle unless it’s going through a rebuild. As a matter of fact our systems state that that particular service for my vehicle is obsolete, and only recommended professional service at rebuild when disassembling the trans case. I’m glad I didn’t go through with it and waste that extra money.Aside from those mildly irritating factors, the facility is clearly well maintained and very clean. When you do speak to the techs that work there, they are really friendly and do their best to be thorough. Ignoring the transmission guidance, the tech that was working on my vehicle was super nice and did a good job of trying to inform me of next steps. I would recommend this place but if you go on Saturday bring something to keep you entertained while you wait.
I stopped and went in for a state inspection. The gentleman that took my car back and checked it out was very nice and professional. The young man was knowledgeable and helpful.
Ive taken all of my Mitsubishi vehicles there for oil changes since 2015 and have never had major issues Theyve always been professional, quick and up front with my services.

Outstanding experience. Lightning fast service, honest and welcoming mechanics (which is a welcome reprieve from the usual stereotype of sleazy mechanics), and rock bottom prices. I brought my own oil in for them to change and they did it for less than $20 with the oil filter. I called several places and this place was by far the cheapest and I was very pleasantly surprised with the extremely high level of customer service. I will definitely be back!
Very enthusiastic staff... But the Tech did not close and put my Air Filter back together after telling me it needed to be charged. I refused the offer because the filter cost $24... And you can get them for $5-15 at a parts store. Now deep down Im wondering if they really changed my oil properly.

Always get inspections done here. I normally will do my own oil change since the last 4 times these guys tighten the drain plug and oil filter too tight.Found synthetic oil on sale at Sams and was able to change my oil for 1/3 of their price.
It was a great experience. Both people who helped me were courteous and knowledgeable. Really quick service at an affordable price. I was one of their early customers spreading the word on this place has been one of the easiest suggestions out there. Ramon runs a great shop! Always fast and high quality service. Very comfortable waiting room, not that you will be there very long with how fast they are. They have fixed everything from brakes to catalytic converter for me. As a husband I send my wife here and dont worry about a thing, friendly to all levels of knowledge. Really glad I found them, the car wash is always nice too.
This location was recommended for service and competency of dealing with BMW issues. Well worth the drive. Mike the supervisor was able to assess an offer Solutions. Not pushy and able to explain in detail mechanical difficulty. Lucas lead technician was scheduled and able to deliver the options in a timely fashion. The necessary part was delivered, put on and I was back driving my car in the promised time frame. All the paperwork is in order and I would totally recommend this company for auto service.

Theyre always good to me. Theyre very woman-friendly which is important to me. And they always break things down for me as far as most-needed services and ones that can wait bc I am not a rich woman and I have to pay for things a little at a time. Love them!
The two guys who worked on my car very nice, the manger was and came off very rude.
Have taken my cars many times to Americas with no regrets. Simple things like basic oil changes all the way to wheel bearings, starters and alternators, not much these guys cant do. My most recent repair was a leaking high pressure hose for the power steering unit. Yeah some people may have taken on the project themselves to save a few bucks but I have discovered many times over I am not a mechanic. Newer cars have very tight spaces, if you do not know what you are doing, you are not going to get the problem resolved. I can fix a lot of things but when it comes to cars, I do not have all the proper tools to get the job done right, what all needs to be fixed for a certain problem and I dont want to spend all day repairing something that would only take these guys an hour or two. Place is honest, top notch, they will not rip you off, sell you anything you do not need. They will point out things that do need attention, things that could be dangerous if you continue to drive the car in its current state. Give them a call, they will provide you a quote if you know exactly what is wrong or could be wrong worse case scenario. You will be amazed with not only the price but great customer service.
I love this place, I have been going here for 2 years now and I won’t go anywhere else. Everyone is very friendly, everyone communicates very well through out the process which makes you feel very comfortable allowing them to work on your vehicle.I wouldn’t recommend any other place! I took my Mustang here today to get it inspected. The gentleman came back into the office and told me he could not pass the inspection because the car is illegal due to no muffler on the car. I explained to him the car has passed inspection four times since Ive had the custom exhaust put onto the car done by Kennys on rufe Snow. I immediately called Kennys muffler shop on rufe Snow and ask them if they cut off my mufflers when they placed the custom exhaust on the car. The gentleman at Kennys told me they do not cut off mufflers that is illegal and simply the gentleman at the state inspection is not seeing the mufflers. Long story short this place never lifted the car to look underneath it to see if there was mufflers on it or not. I took the car down the street to another inspection place and it passed with flying colors. Im sure this guy did not want to get in trouble thinking that the exhaust system on my car was illegal which it was not. I only asked they do their homework before they come to a conclusion that is not true. I will not be returning to this place ever again.
Cheapest place to get your oil changed in the area, I’ve gone there for years and have had great service that’s quick and painless. The only downside to coming there is most of the staff doesn’t know how to drive stick so either you have to drive it in or you have to watch someone clutch dump your car or stall a bunch as they attempt to get it in. Luckily this most recent time the guy knew how to drive it and got it in without a problem but that’s the first time that’s happened in 3ish years of going there. Awesome service and I highly recommend getting your maintenance done there!

Great service excellent place to take your vechile for service or repairs
I am giving 3 stars because the staff was very friendly. But, I took my vehicle here over the weekend and was given an estimate on everything that needed to be repaired. It needed about $2200 worth of repairs. I took it to a small shop in Haltom for a 2nd opinion. It does in fact need all of the repairs America’s auto stated, but they could do the repairs for far cheaper. Brought $2200 down to $1400. So, all that being said I just suggest if you do come here to get a detailed description of how much they charge for labor alone and then get a receipt of the actual parts. Other than the price, staff was very friendly and prompt.
I’ve used this establishment for over 15 years. Though they are under new ownership, the employees had been great. However, the ones now running it are nothing like it’s been in the past. The last two times I’ve taken one of our vehicles in they have changed pricing on work being performed.This time it took them 5 days to complete something they said would be completed in one. Calls were made to check on the progress after 2 days and they said they had gotten busy and hadn’t even touched it but “we will have it for sure ready tomorrow” but it wasn’t. Then the last straw was when they called and it was “ready” and we went to pick it up, it actually wasn’t.We then asked how long it would take to complete putting freon in the vehicle and they said an hour and it would be an additional $69. Not happy about it but fine. We just wanted our vehicle back at this point. They called an hour or so later. When we got there to pick it up, it wasn’t $69 as we were told. It was $69 plus another charge of $18 for freon. What? I thought it was $69 but the guy said “we had to charge you for extra freon as well”... but you told me that the charge was $69... you didn’t say anything about extra freon.Nor were we told the price for the other repairs were $100 more than we were quoted until we came to get the vehicle.No more guys, you’ve just lost a loyal customer.
Very fast. The guys working there were efficient and very polite to everyone. If you want basic oil change(cheapest), they get you in and out even faster. If you also want tires checked and fluids topped off, it is only about $9 more. Also, clean, spacy, warm in winter waiting area.
Blake was very helpful. Although all I needed was an oil change, the service was done very quickly with no up-selling. Because they do such a great job, I keep going back there for every oil change and other maintenance for both of our cars.

I was greeted as soon as I drove up by a very nice young man.. He asked what type of service I was interested in. My car was taken right in and they promptly started working on it. Everyone was very polite. My oil change was done quickly.
I opted coming here for repair work on my 2002 Ford Focus because of the online ratings and convenient location. The ratings are high for a reason; Ramon and Lucas did a brilliant job in the diagnosis of my issue and in the management of my repair experience. This is a full service shop and can handle mostly any issue, including the 3 collapsed motor mounts I needed to have replaced. Not a common issue, so rest assured they can tackle whatever you come in with. Ramon shows professionalism and facilitated my schedule which was pretty turbulent at the time. My car was returned to me exactly when promised and was not held in limbo for an undetermined amount of time. If you want accurate diagnosis, a deterministic return time and a staff that takes the usual horror out of the repair experience, go see what they can do for you. If anything, at least go grab a handful of chocolate candy and some decent K-cup coffee. :)

I took my car to 2 dealerships and 3 auto repair shops and none of them could figure out why the horn wouldnt work...so I took it here trying to get a horn button installed and they did even better...They fixed my horn! Kudos to Jerrod, the mechanic here... Thank you so much for going above and beyond and knowing what youre doing!!!
The staff was great. We had to get our cars inspected and found out there was an issue with the E-brake cable. Lucas and Joe did their best to repair it without replacement, but no luck. Joe then was very dedicated in calling around to multiple suppliers to find the part to get it fixed ASAP! Will definitely be coming back.

America’s oil change was so fast, before I could even get comfy they were done. I recommend it anyone that’s pressed for time. I wish they took longer because their waiting room was so comfortable AC blowing,free water and really nice seating.
I have been to this shop quite a few times since they opened. I have always been treated fairly with good advice and great work. Today was good advice and no money. From inspections to new catalytic converters Lucas is on point and cost conscious. I have moved to Bedford but will always come here first. Your the best.
Its fine, a little pricier than other places, but I like it. The only thing is I hate when you ask them to, for example, check all the tire pressures, even the spare, and they dont do it.
Driving by I saw the sign for oil change, then looked at my oil gage and the indicator was flashing. Well I went right in, 15 minutes later, im all good. Great service, the place was clean and sanitized, (thats important theses days). Overall, I would highly recommend Americans for your next oil change.
I have to be honest, I had one bad experience at one of their establishment, but after the service I gotten at the one on Denton hwy is only reason I will continue dealing with this company. The one Alta Mere is garbage. The guys at Denton hwy are by far more professional. They went absolutely above and beyond! I came in to get my oil change and then they found out that my filter was bad so they changed that too and then told me that they topped all my fluids off for free!! I felt tremendously blessed and I will absolutely be going back for any other car needs!! Thank You Guys so much again you’re amazing and you guys have the best hearts ever!!!

I like going here . I had a less than an hour wait to complete my car services plus the state inspection yesterday. Dap is great and so is Jennifer. Theyre all skilled and very professional.
I came in for an oil change. They treated me promptly when got to the store. They advised the increased cost due to the additional quart of oil. They did multi point inspection and advised some issues and which needs immediate attention. We were done within 30 minutes.
They had a great team and communicated well throughout the process. Had my AC compressor kit, wiring and belts installed same day and within estimate. Highly recommend!
Everyone is very courteous every time I come here. If I have questions about my car, they look into it and tell me what’s wrong (if anything) and explain it so I can understand. I would highly recommend their services. :)

I used to come here often for routine maintenance and I never had any issues. However, I recently took my truck for routine services and was told that the brakes needed changed and that the front brakes were so worn the discs may need to be resurfaced. This sounded a little odd, as the truck only had about 24k miles on it, so I took it somewhere else to get looked at and the brake pads still had about 3/4 of them left.At another point I was given a quote of about $700 to change a pinion seal on my other vehicle. A job that I was charged ~$260 for at the shop that was honest with me about the brakes on my truck. This kind of shady business is why people dont trust auto mechanics.
I only give two stars because at least they where polite. I took my car in for oil change and ask them to look for coolant leak, I was told I had no leak, everything looked great but I needed an oil and coolant flush. Like an idiot I said ok. Car that had no issues prior is now breaking down 3 weeks later due to there is now gasoline mixed in my oil and I did have a coolant leak. They said it wasn’t there fault, evening charging me another $200. I called dealership and talked to other mechanics, I was told this car does not require any flushes and you never do a flush when there is a possible leak. There are cleaners in oil now so you do not need flush just FYI. I had to have car towed to another shop bc I did not trust these ppl to know what they are doing. Like I said they where very polite, which is why I trusted them but they should not have done flush on my car, which I still believe caused some of the $2500 I just had to put into it.
Made an appointment for an inspection. Got confirmation. Showed up 10 minutes early to my appointment. Two people with no appointments pulled right up to garage as I was walking up and asked for inspections and employee said ok. I then told this employee that I was here for my appointment and he told me sorry but I had to wait till he did those guys inspections. I told him I had an appointment and he shrugged his shoulders and started to walk off. I asked him what I was suppose to do. He said just go inside and wait. I went inside and no one was in the office. I sat down and watched another walk-in pull up and ask another employee for an inspection and he said ok pull your car in. Seriously? So I left. Will never come back. This place does not honor appointments. Very unorganized and employees dont seem to care at all. Wouldnt trust them with my car.
I was driving by when I seen this shop, decided to stop as my car was in the need of a oil change. The guys were so helpful and describe exactly what they were going to do and how much it will come out. It was quick and affordable. Thank you
The mechanics are usually nice, the prices/fees for most services are affordable, and the location is extremely convenient. In addition, the front waiting area is always clean and inviting. Also, this business offers a free Wi-Fi signal to the customers while they wait, which is yet another added bonus.
Rude employee, tall young caucasian, was rude, short and had no manners. Told me I needed full synthetic oil, when I said ,no I dont. I think thats where he had a problem. I dont even feel like he changed my oil filter. And there was alot of oil spilled around where the oil goes in the engine compartment. Anyway, I dont think Ill be returning. I didnt feel welcomed at all. They werent even busy I should have gotten excellent service. I dont think he like s his job .
This is my second time coming here, and every time I come the guys are so nice ! They have never tried to get over, most shops will tell extra than what you came for. Nothing is never forced with America. I live about 20 minutes away. I travel and pass over near by shops just to come to America’s ! Anytime I need anything done to my car, America will always get my vehicle. Thankx guys 😁
Still charges $20 + tax for oil change when you bring your own oil and filter. Asked about military discount which they provide, but if your doing the bare basic oil change then no discount lol. Ill just drive back to the regular shop where they charge $10 BUCKS.
Awesome shop. I called this place in the morning and asked about an oil change pront, as we were beginning a vacation. He said bring it on. I went there, handed him my key, he pulled it in the bay, and I sat in a chair. 20 minutes later he came in, rang me up, handed me my key. Outstandingly quick work. Great service. I WILL revisit this place.
I recently took my 2010 Mazda 3i to Americas Automotive to do the 120 thousand miles maintenance check. I informed Ramon that I was only interested in fixing things that needed to be fixed to keep my car running mechanically sound. Ramon was friendly, professional and knowledgeable in explaining everything to me. Not only did he explain things to me but he took me to the car bay area and showed me the things that needed attention. After talking to him I got the sense that he knew a lot about cars and I felt confident that I was leaving my car in good hands. I also interacted with the other staff while I was there. They were all friendly and professional at all time.Ive been driving my car now for a few weeks post the repairs and my car is running great. Thank you Ramon and the staff at Americas Automotive! In the future I will be taking my car to you again.

Went for an oil change and they killed my car!!! They couldnt get it started and then told me it was my starter. After towing to a real mechanic... it was my freaking battery!!! They also told me at the beginning they could not check my air in my tires because that was not part of the $20 oil change package. I will not go back here nor recommend it. Lazy ass!!!!!I called for the owner to call me and never heard back. Do not go here!!!!!!!
Horrible service. Absolutely no coordination in helping customers. Waited 45 minutes only to have two people go ahead of me. Finally just got my keys back and left.
Screwed out of the inspection price. Yes its only 25 bucks. My car was failed. I fixed it but your inspection machine or internet is constantly down. I was continously told to come back again and to just take another day off. Having only a few days left to reinspect my car, I went somewhere else.
I was charged $1,200 for brakes and rotors. I should have gotten a second opinion. Every mechanic I have talked to says I got ripped off BIG TIME. I dont recommend this place. Save your money and go to a more reputable and establablished business that doesnt need to rip people off to stay in business.
My family I have been going to these guys for about the last 5 years. They are by far the best group of mechanics I have ever had work on my vehicles. They will tell you what needs to be done not try to up sale you on 90 different things you need done. They will show you why and what the part should look like. Just honest mechanics and top quality work. If for any reason they miss something or a part fails they do not hesitate to fix you at no cost to you. I live in Denton now but drive all the way to Fort Worth just to have them work on my car. Will not take it anywhere else.
American Oil is a place that you can trust the mechanics with your car, Every one work in a professional and efficient matter. The mechanics are knowledgeable and skilled in their roles. I go to this facility for most of my problems n the outcome is always positive.
Went in for a state inspection because the sign outside claimed a 5 minute inspection. I was skeptical not only if the wait time but was wondering what nonsense they would try to up sell me. I’m happy to report that the inspection took under 5 minutes and I wasn’t pressured into buying anything, let alone something I didn’t need. Levi was very friendly as well.
The only reason they get 1 star is because they were quick to respond to me when I came into the center after my steering wheel locked up in my Mazda Tribute. I was pretty shaken up due to the fact my power steering stopped working while driving down I35. They took a look at my car and came back with an estimate of $871 to fix the power steering. I questioned the price and was told that they had several similar models to my car need their power steering fixed, and I asked “like a recall or something?” And was told no. I told them I would be calling around for other estimates due to the price being so high. The man that I spoke with that day said in response “you should.” And I did. There actually was a recall for the power steering on my Mazda and it was fixed free of cost. The 2nd mechanic I took it to, looked up the parts needed and saw that there was a recall and told me immediately. I asked for clarification if the mechanic/manager at America’s Oil Change & Auto Repair would have seen this recall when looking up the parts/repair that needed to be done and he said without a doubt. He also added that this recall is a well known recall that most repair shops would have known about. I do not appreciate the attempt to take advantage of me, and I will not be returning to this company and I will make sure all of my friends and colleagues will know this story.

I really question all of the 5 star reviews on this place - all were written about 4-5 months ago (as of my writing). No 4 star, no 3 star, no 2 or 1. I find this odd, not only because of questionable things they told me about my car, but I saw them pull the exact same line with EVERYONE who came in after me.I went in for an oil change. They brought me out there and showed me black gunk around my brake fluid. I may not be a mechanic, but it was obvious it was old oil, and the ONLY way it could have gotten there would be if someone had of placed it there. The brake fluid was not dirty, and cap was on securely on the brake fluid. They recommended flushing EVERYTHING because of that. As it is a high milage car, and i had never gotten flushes, I thought, crooked or not, it is probably not a bad idea to go ahead and do that. So guy took me over to the computer, punched everything in, and gave me the total, with taxes and everything.While I was waiting, however, I saw them pull the same scam with EVERYONE who came in after me. Shoot, one person came in with a fairly new Buick, (2014-2016 model would be my guess), and they told her she needed all her systems flushed. There were three people who came in after me whom they sold the exact same story to.Worse still, when I went to check out, the total was over $100 more than what they told me in the garage. I complained, and they tried to add coupons on, which brought my total still to $20 more than I was quoted in the garage, and there were no additional services on there.But the worst thing, when the car came back, the check engine light was on (it wasnt when I took it in). I am assuming it was because of the engine flush, but I was shocked that they didnt even try to clear the light. I just took it down to Pep Boys and had them clear it,Now, its possible the entire shop is not like this, and it is only one or two rogue mechanics, but I find it really hard to believe that no one has called them out on Google about this

OMG!!! Where do I start...First off AWESOME customer service, Ramon, Rebecca, Lucas and Ray go out of their way to make me happy as a customer. The team is knowledgeable about any and every aspect of automotive care and maintanance. I especially enjoy ther waiting area...very clean, comfortable and have lots of free coffee, water and snacks to help make the time spent there go by. FREE WIFI...woohoo...love to watch my movies as they perform my repairs. I go here for just about anything car related...Just now bought a used car for a too good to be true price, took it there and they found all kinds of leaks and issues, Minor problems but needed to be taken care of. Ramon even helped me to budget out the repairs and advised me on what needed to be done and what we could hold off on. As of right now all necessary repairs are done and are backed by their 2 YEAR warranty. Every vehicle I own goes there and I also recommend this shop to all my friends and family. I have no concerns about my repairs or the techs and mechanic doing them. PLUS did I mention they give u a free car wash with every time u get anything no matter how miniscule done...forces me to keep my car looking great...such a problem...LOLLOVE the SHOP, LOVE the TEAM, even LOVE the OWNER (great guy makes sure Im taken care of)Your not just a customer here...your a Friend...your FAMILY!
Al and his guys have taken care of our vehicles since they opened. They are extremely fair and always take excellent care of us. When we needed a major repair, they told us to check with our dealer because it would likely be covered by warranty. They were right! Who does that in this day and age?

I want to truly let everyone know about the stellar service I received at Americas Oil Change and Auto Repair-State Inspection. I have known the owner Jordan for over 15 years. We both share our love for custom cars. I first met Jordan and his dad Pete back in 2008 at their Kwik Kar location. Jordan knows my classic Saleen mustang. He knows my car and he made a fantastic effort to take special care with my mustang. I just recently purchased some high end custom Wilwood brakes for my mustang. I had America work to replace my OEM brakes with the Wilwood kits. I also want to commend and recognize master mechanic Lucas for his integrity and work getting this accomplished. There were some special requirements to get these brakes to work properly on my mustang. They stayed in contact with me through this entire service. My husband took our car up there to get our headlight changed. They charged us $50 for labor to put the light in. We ordered the light and brought it on. The $50 was for only labor. They then came out to tell my husband that the headlight wasnt working and they needed to charge us another 1 and half of labor to find out why it wasnt working. The mechanic himself said the bulb was good. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FPR ANYTHING! Its a waste of time and money.

CAUTION: If you have to pick this place over any other oil service make certain you watch them change your oil and filter. Took my vehicle in for a standard oil change and left with the same oil and filter that I pulled up in. They almost ruined my car! Thinking that something was wrong with my motor, I took my vehicle to my dealership just to find out the oil and filter where never changed.... I must say that’s not very American!

Went in for the State Safety Inspection, there were two cars before me and yet they were still very fast. I was probably there for about 45 minutes total. The whole staff was very friendly and courteous.
Took our C350 to have them address the AC that wasnt working. They took care of it and I even had service B performed on the vehicle.I had a good experience and we look forward to taking our other benz in for service.

Americas automotive is competitively priced as well as friendly. They were quick to lend a hand when I tried to pull my car into the parking lot after one of my belts broke and didnt take advantage of the situation. Ive been coming back ever since.
Needed brake pads and rotors on the front side. They quoted me $590. That didnt sound right so I called my old shop in Hurst, DFW Frame and Alignment. They quoted me $390. The guy at Americas padded my quote with several things I didnt need.I felt compelled to write this review after discovering several of my neighbors have had worse experiences than I had. They are walking distance from my house. I really wanted them to be an honest shop.

I always go here for my car maintenance. Today I got an oil change, tire rotation and a headlight replaced. Rich was my auto tech today and did an awesome job working on my car. I highly recommend Americas Automotive for your car maintenance or repair needs.
Im a pretty big critic when it comes to customer service. Partly because I am a Customer Service Manager at a retail store. However, I was blown away with the treatment I received at AA. Ramon walked me through every step of the process, and made sure I was taken care of. I had a terrible experience at the last repair shop I went to, so AA was a breath of fresh air. They triumphed where the previous shop just made things worse... After it was all done, they dropped my viehical off at my home for no extra charge. I will be back without a doubt for any future repairs.

Once when i was there, my kids school called and told me he had an allergic reaction so i needed to pick him up. I asked them to hurry and they did. Also very honest, i compared them to City Garage on a battery sell...City Garage wad $65.00 more and wanted to sell me a service. American auto told me I just needed a battery.
They are quick, polite, and they will let you know of anything else that needs attention, yet they won’t push repairs on you. Being new to the area, I have utilize their services twice and will continue to do so.
Service techs were friendly, not pushy with services not needed like other places. I was in and out within 20 mins. First time customer, left with a good first impression.
Had 3 quotes from other mechanics for a repair and was getting the run around on what exactly was wrong. Stopped in here and received a quote and was told exactly what was wrong. The quote I received from these guys was almost half the price from the other quotes. They have earned my business and I won’t take my vehicles anywhere else but here now.

Called ahead of time for an oil change and was told they could get me in and out because there was no one there. I waited just short of an hour to get an oil filter unthreaded and a new one put on and oil dropped and refilled, when confronted with the wait time I was given a lame excuse of my air intake being in the way which is removable by one hand clamp, sitting on the bench outside I could hear the techs having social hour in the pit. Would have given no star if I could.

This place was recommended for a free AC inspection, I came in and the guys were very polite and although they were busy and told me it will be a hour wait, after the inspection I decided to pay the $69.99 for Freon and I was out within the hour... I will recommend and go back.. Thanks !!

I asked for an inspection which was all I needed to get my new registration and was told I had to have an emissions test to .mv confirmed that I only needed inspection because my car is so new .. I got charged an extra 18 dollars for something I didnt ask for or need

2022-04-04I was walking to the the door and tripped, my fault, was not paying attention. Christian saw me and came immediately and helped. He brought paper towels, alcohol wipes and 2 big bandages. He kept coming in and checking on me. He is such sweet and caring young man. I wish all kids his age to take lesson from him.Also I want to give Ryan an high mark. He did my last oil change and recommended a transmission flush. I told I didn’t have the money at that time, he was so honest. I took my jeep in today for transmission flush and had Ryan performed it. He remembered me from months ago and I really appreciate him that. He is a good honest man.

2022-04-15Dont bother using the appointment feature on their website. They confirm it through email and then when you show up at the agreed time, they claim to have no record of it. Total waste of time.If there is an error in the system, the correct thing to do is put the customer at the front of the line when they show up. Instead we were told we would have to wait several hours.We planned our day around this appointment, which was confirmed through email by the business.The ball was dropped here multiple times with no attempt to correct things.

This is the second time I went and sadly not everyone was wearing a mask this time, however they still kept my windows down and took care of it quickly. I have someone who can’t be vaccinated at home and who is at risk so these little things mean - lot to me so I can keep them safe. Will continue to go.

2022-05-30The mechanic ripped my door handle completely off the door and said if i bought the part he’d fix it. why would i have to pay to fix something you broke…? Also, one of the mechanics tried to hit on me during my service AFTER he showed me the door handle he broke on my car. saying he knew he’d get introuble if he said this but i have a “beautiful face”. very unprofessional and honestly just ridiculous.

He is honest yet professional and I never have to worry about being that girl who was taken advantage of. Prices are competitive; service is fast and thorough; staff is friendly. 2021-12-18My technician was great. Went in for routine oil change. Got there a few minutes after they opened so there wasnt a wait. I was told that my car was due for a tune up and given an estimate asked if I wanted it taken care of today, I said no. He advised to come back and see them when I was ready to have the service performed. I liked that there was no pressure put on me that it was something I had to get done today. I hate when you go to an automotive shop for one thing then they come back with a list of things that its vital you get done that day. I also got my air cabin filter changed. The lobby was clean and all staff I had interaction with were friendly. I will be back for my tune up.

2022-03-24I took both of my vehicles there for inspections. Both time I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Not to mention their customer service was outstanding! I highly recommend this place!
