Hopefully just a fluke... We brought our pet in for an initial visit and blood work for a prescription. Three days later, still no call (left a message on day 2 and didnt get a call back). We leave for a trip in 5 hours and still no answers. We were supposed to get the information the following day so we could get the prescription. Not great communication so far... And not a great experience... Hopefully they improve and I can update my review, but right now, we regret this.

2022-07-15I cant say enough good things about the Animal Hospital at Steiner Ranch. Ive been bringing my 2 cats and 1 dog here for almost 10 years with consistently wonderful experiences. The staff is on top of things and Dr. Cole is a level-headed, thoughtful, compassionate vet. She always seems to be up on the latest treatments but will refer to a specialist if necessary. Im really thankful to have such a high quality office so close!

2021-12-27I love that Ive found Animal Hospital at Steiner Ranch & Dr. Cole. I first brought my dog in after feeling like I wasnt getting quality care from a vet clinic up the road a bit and switching it up was a decision well worth making. Dr. Cole has been great and so has the entire broader team. Thank you for caring for our pets - my dog means the world to me and seeing that reflected in his healthcare providers is all I can ask for. Thank you team!

2021-06-22I took my senior sheltie to Dr.Cole the last year and a half of his life and couldn’t have asked for a nicer vet. The entire staff was so kind and thorough and put up with my endless texts my dog’s last month of life when I was always questioning what I needed to do. They were always there to help me to assist. Having them made the process of losing our dog much easier. We are just adopting a beautiful sheltie mix that was rescued from a shelter and will be taking her there as well!

2021-09-03The staff here is so great. They are so sweet and helpful, you can tell that they love animals. Our girl is nervous to come, but I can see how the staff works with her to calm her down and make her feel safe.

2017-05-04We love Dr. Cole and her staff. Our first experience was so hard - our cat had been killed by coyotes and her staff helped us through the cremation process. They were professional, kind and compassionate. We currently take all three of our dogs there and have always been very pleased with the services and the price. Dr. Cole is always conservative in treatment plans and loves our pets as much as we do. I would highly recommend this clinic.

2020-08-19Animal Hospital Steiner Ranch is an first class Veterinary hospital that offers extremely high quality care for your pets. Dr. Cole spends extra time on her cases in order to make difficult diagnoses that other hospitals miss. If you have an urgent situation they will do everything possible to accommodate your pet’s needs. Dr. Cole and her staff are friendly, kind, caring, and provide the most up to date, behaviorally sound, patient handling practices. Although you won’t be able to enter the hospital due to the current COVID-19 policies, it is the cleanest, most well kept hospital you will fine anywhere. I highly recommend this hospital, you won’t be disappointed.

2017-04-12Took our senior beagle to them for a bladder issue that was going to require expensive tests. At the time they found a sore that they suspected was oral cancer. They recommended to not do any expensive testing that another vet recommended and only an inexpensive biopsy. They were right about the cancer and I stead helped us just make him comfortable with the time he had left. They were amazing a few more than later with the euthanasia process as well. Our new puppy sees the now too and again a great experience.

2015-11-18I just LOVE Dr. Cole!! She is so wonderful as is all her staff. Dr. Cole always takes a conservative approach on her treatments versus going all out and having you spend money you did not need to spend, Every time she has treated my elderly pup she has been right on point with the treatments needed. Plus she is just so compassionate and caring. I have called her office 5 minutes before closing time because I was worried sick about my Chihuahua and Sherman told me to come on up. Turns out my pup had a stomach issue and one shot later my pup is almost back to normal. I highly recommend The Animal Hospital at Steiner Ranch and Dr. Cole.

2018-08-11We just moved to Austin and had not yet found a new vet when our elder dog, Pip, became ill. After an unsuccessful experience with another local vet, I took Pip to AHSR. They worked hard to try and help us but unfortunately Pips cancer (something that had been previously diagnosed before out move) had advanced. The sad part of this is that we ended up loosing our sweet pup. The good part is how amazing the ENTIRE staff at AHSR was. Dr. Cole and her staff are considerate, caring, and sensitive and I really feel that Pip could not have been in better hands or with people who would have tried harder to help her. Im eternally grateful to them and will be taking our other pets to Dr. Cole and her staff for care.
