Said they were open 8-4, drove 40 minutes and arrived around 12. door was padlocked shut, no note or anything explaining if/why they’re closed. but by the looks of it i think this place may be closed down for good, if you don’t live in anson, it’s not worth the drive

The Animal Control Officer is VERY caring. Takes his job seriously and does his job well. Tries hard to find owners or rehome lost animals. Shelter was clean and animals were well cared for. I was very impressed. Anson is lucky to have such an amazing person in this position.
