Bugs are gone after each visit! All the service people have been very professional and quick with their job. Only issues I’ve experienced is scheduling. They can’t ever give you a specific time, and the date is given to you a couple days before. Many times I’ve given them my availability for the day, and they say it’s scheduled for AM/PM but someone will show up at the opposite time we “scheduled”.
What I love about them is that they REALLY LISTEN to concerns and tailor service to your needs. I raise butterflies and love my pollinators (honeybees, bumble bees, yellowjackets) so he was very particular about where and how he treated my property. He explained the chemicals and what they would/would not affect. They also volunteer to come back for free if there are any service concerns within 30 days. Love this company!
I have been utilizing anthem pest control for the last year, and at first I thought they were great! And then they started to slack off even more. I have a 4,000sqft home, and all they wanted to do was come out and spray my yard, but when I signed up, I was told it was internal and external spraying. Cancelled after my last service. And if they charge me again after I just paid a cancellation fee, I will be suing! I always feel like it’s been wasted money, I would love to get some of that money back in court. So I would suggest they not charge my account again.RUN! They are not who they portray to be when you sign up! And will say they sprayed your entire yard but only spot spray, and then still charge you $117. Nope, go get your service elsewhere.

This company is horrible with its communication & thieves. I postpones my appointments until was able to make the payment & upon rescheduling a few times & without communicating with me, they automatically deduct $194 from my bank account for a cancellation fee. I never cancelled my contract. When I called & spoke to Carla, she said i had cancelled my appointments so she assumed I was cancelling my contract. How can someone assume? Wouldnt it have been easy to call me directly? I never got a call or a text asking me if I wanted to cancel. The services were only $129. Knowing I wasnt in the position to spend $129 on pest control, they assumed charging me $194 to cancel .. where is the logic in that? There was nothing in the contract that said I couldnt postpone my services. No penalty at all. I would not recommend them at all
Ive had the service with Anthem for over a year now. I paid for the service that includes mosquito control. From what Ive seen, their techs are just used to doing the basic service, so I end up calling up have someone come back out and finish the service properly. Lucky I have cameras to know I was not getting the service I paid for. When my contract ends, I doubt Ill renew it.
Worst customer service, as well as actual “service”. Their product doesn’t work, first and foremost, but even if it did, I have a recording of the technician spraying the front of my house for approximately 30 seconds before getting back into his truck and leaving, (because he assumed no one was home) and I doubt that’s what anyone would pay for when it comes to “extermination”. Upon calling customer service I was told my compensation for their lazy and dishonest employee would be to send (the same, now disgruntled) technician back to my house with an attitude, and when I told her I would be leaving a review her response was “ok great, that’s fine”and as you can see, their page is now flooded with fake positive reviews as a way to combat their several unhappy customers reviews. Shady sales rep comes to your house and lies to get you to hire, then when you try to cancel the service they say you are bound to a contract (my fiancée wasn’t even home at sign up, how could they have her signature on a contract ??) Easy case for my lawyer, but save your time and money and go completely elsewhere.
Today 3/29/22, Darren, exterminator, provided excellent service that he found hornet and wasp nets in front and back outside of my house, gutter, and fences. He is so details to clean up all nets for us, and explained how we could prevent that happens again. We really appreciate him.
Brandon is very professional and can tell the names of various cockroaches. He let me know what to expect next for different types of cockroaches he sampled in the house. He sprayed inside and outside the house, and put two traps in the garage. He looks very careful and detail oriented. He also inspected the yard for any details of other pests or bugs. He looks very friendly and trustworthy. I definitely would like to have him to work on my premises again.
I used this company for two homes for about 24 months.Mysteriously one of my accounts kept getting charged because I didn’t call to cancel 30 days before my contract elapsed.But I did call, I called because the other home was going under Aptive and I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t get double charged. I didn’t call about my residence though… find it so mysterious how one home does get charged but the one I called about does 🙄I spoke to several people for 2 weeks Before I was told it couldn’t be refunded today by Sheila (after I had been told by an employee at the beginning that I shouldn’t of gotten charged since my contract was completed)That it couldn’t be refunded because they hand no record of me calling them since 2020.The company truly has GREAT technicians and great Sales people but I’m truly disappointed that they will continue to charge even after the contract has been elapsed and you have contacted them and all they have to say is “we have no record of you calling”
Be careful with them. They don’t like terminate contract at the end. I moved in may and told them to cancel in April they were still trying to spray and treat the property after I move. They also debuted my account and gave me a hard time about getting my money back. Also they just like to show up and say they sprayed the exterior. I maybe had a knock twice within a year. They also don’t come in between visits if you see insects. They move your appt that may be scheduled for 2 months away up to that time.
Anthem is amazing! Weve been using them for a year now. We had a huge problem with mosquitos in are back yard that made swimming in the pool unbareable. They fixed that right away. We only have them spray inside every quarter, but never have any issues. Their technician Curtis just left and asked for a google review which I am happy to do for him. He texted when he was on his way, he was efficient, informative, professional and very friendly. He went out of his way to make sure my husband and I were happy with his service. He is the best technician we have had in the years time we have been with Anthem. Keep up the good work Curtis, you should go far, Anthem is lucky to have you on their side. Give that man a raise! He represents you excellently!!!
When a Anthem sales rep knocked on my door a year ago I told him no to services cause I don’t like signing contracts he assured me that there was no contract involved I would be on a service to service payment. Know that I am moving out of my home I called to cancel service I was told then that I was in a contract and my signature was on it. I went back and forth with them about it and then was told someone would contact me and no one would come to the home and do render any services until then. Well this morning while I was sleep someone came from anthem and knocked on the door my son did not answer but the back door was open and so no one came into the backyard and know I just got a confirmation that there billing me again this time for not doing anything. I am the type of person that does not leave complaints I just stop my relationship with the company but this company I feel I should warn others about if the come knocking on your door I myself would stand clear of them.
Cody called before the scheduled appointment to give me a heads up. We discussed the potency of the treatment and options with scattered thunderstorms. “We”made an plan of action. Cody followed through and a few minutes later he was finished. I am 100 percent satisfied with todays service. Keep up the good work Anthem.
This company grossly lacks professionalism and communication. I regretfully signed up for general pest control from a door to door solicitor. At that time, I explained that I raise butterflies and that I only wanted preventative pest control around the perimeter of my home and indoors. I was told this was not an issue and that it would be notated in my file for all technicians to see. The first service, the technician showed up to my home, and despite my being home, he did not communicate his arrival and proceeded to spray my property without my knowledge and, clearly, without reading the information in my file. He killed every single butterfly caterpillar I had at the time. I was obviously very upset. I called and told them that they needed to communicate with me before doing anything on my property, and they said they would do so moving forward. I wanted to cancel at that point but was stuck in a contract. Everything for them is on an automated system, down to scheduling. They do not care about the schedule of the customer whatsoever; and their automated system schedules only 1-2 days in advance. This does not give the customer enough time to make services work for their schedule, and with the initial incident, I am not comfortable having them at my home without my being present. I called to discuss scheduling issues, and Sheila told me that there was nothing that could be done and I was stuck having them come to my home and spray regardless of the fact that I did not want to continue working with them. I was able to call back at another time and spoke to Joseph on the telephone regarding my issues, he was kind and understanding and explained that he would talk to his manager about completing the third of four appointments and canceling the fourth to avoid any more issues arising. At that time, I was told that the manager had approved said conditions and that my contract was over. Fast forward a few months, and the automated system scheduled me, once again, despite the contract being over based on our previous conversations. I called and asked to speak to a manager immediately upon receipt of the text message communicating this appointment. Sarah, who introduced herself as a manager, looked at my file only to tell me that Joseph did not notate any of the above information, so technically I am unable to cancel the fourth service that should never have been scheduled in the first place. I am absolutely livid that despite all of the issues I have dealt with with this company, they are continuing to act unprofessionally and refusing to acknowledge that they made a mistake. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs, especially if you value communication and professionalism to any degree.
I had the pleasure of meeting Sam. Very nice guy and extremely professional. Took time to explain the process with me and went over all the bug/insect issues I had. Sam was really patient and listened to all the bug issues I had. I am hoping I work with Sam as my exterminator.
I can’t express how much I DONT recommend. We used Sure Pest for years with absolutely no bugs and no problems. Anthem approached us and we decided to switch to them and try them out. We have never had more spiders and bugs in the house than what we do now. I can’t wait to cancel. They are absolutely awful.
I wouldn’t recommend this company.We are locked into an annual contract and this will be the last scam we get into. This company sold us on their above & beyond services, our neighbors using them, & there was a “discount upon signing up that day”.Friday, Jul 29, they were to come and perform a quarterly service, meaning front & back yards getting treated, spider removal, cleaning of the eaves, and an exterior treatment of the house. Anthem is to contact us in advance to schedule a date and time for services, that was not done. Anthem is to also leave notification that they performed their service(s), and what service(s) they provided, that was also not done. I didn’t get all the services they are to provide cause they didn’t tell me they were coming so my backyard is left untreated and I have spiders and wasps now, even in the front yard, on my front patio, where the technician was able to treat.I wish I could go back in time and not get into this contract, so I’m warning others to not bother with Anthem and check other providers!!
My spider problem is getting worst not better and it’s been about a year . I was told I can cancel and now I’m told I have to pay a big fee even when the service is horrible I see 2-3 huge spiders in my house a day.I called them out in between service and was told not to call in between service. My dog has been bitten and I have kids that I’m scared will be bitten.Run from this company
This Company is a total Deception I was visited by a salesman and he offered me a 2-year Plan and told me that the initial payment was $42.22 after the visit I was charged $117.99 but even so the cockroaches never left, they continued to make life in my house. I sent photos and video informing that the service had not worked and I wanted to cancel the service for $281.45, this was an experience that I consider a scam. dont fall for this deception
The sales person that knocked on my door lied about everything to try to get me to sign the contract. He said It’s not possible to sign up with a credit card, only bank wire. Then, he said he could set the technician to swing by every month without me having to call to get them to come but as it turns out I have to call every month and it was possible to pay with a credit card all along. Great service, horrible sales person that will lie to get you to sign the contract.
The agent sent DARWIN was exceptional and patience with me as I was over the home stressing out trying ito show him the bugs, places, speicimanes and he alwas was very well-educated on how they came to house, direct on what we can do to eliminate and just helped inform me of why, releasing stress and making me feel at ease more with some tips for preventing and being on the job. He is the only agent I request as he has already done a great job and knows my home inside and out. I trust him to detail my areas and concerns.
I would not recommend using this pest control. Every time they “come” I never see them or they never make themselves present that they are at my home.Koni the owner came last year to convince us to switch to his company and didn’t mention anything about a contract. Turns out it was a contract. After that you never hear from him again. I have called about how after “extermination happens” I see more bugs than ever before. They do not clean properly I’m glad I’m out of there contact. I never leave reviews but I don’t think it’s fair for companies to promise a certain service and does not fulfill. I have actually exterminated myself and seen better results.
I switched from Aptive and wish I hadnt. They were supposed to give me a 30 minute call ahead because I wanted an inside treatment. Tech showed up, performed the outside and said he couldnt wait and that I was way out of his way anyway. I was 20 mins away and I knew I would be which is why I asked for the call ahead. See ya Anthem.
Received general pest treatment for my home. The tech Ruben heard our concerns and took a look at the affected areas in our home. He was able to treat the areas and did the general treatment inside and outside the home. Ruben was very professional in attending to our concerns.
I really like Anthem Service and I will recommend to the public for their pest control … But today I got some disappointments.. The guy who came to our home is not responsible… Whatever I have asked he simply said that it’s not in contract… but immediately office called me and arrange the other person … Thank you Anthem!!!!
Edited post: The first two services were great; by the fourth visit our pest problem was back to square one. I was on a contract, so I feel like money was withdrawn from our account for someone to drive out to our home and walk around. Do not recommend.Jacob Y inspected property. He applied a general treatment in garage, attic, living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms. He targeted the attic with a pair of mouse traps as we suspect activity. He was professional timely and informative. So far, excellent experience as a whole.
The tech sprayed and explained to me what they used and where they were spraying. We have butterfly gardens and the treatment has not interfered with the butterflies, which is wonderful. Our insect population inside our house is gone with no spraying inside! The tech is very courteous, eager to share his knowledge and remembers our house and kind of pests we have. We are very pleased with Anthem and their techs.
After weeks of working with them to try and get simple paper work signed to get treatment at myhome they were unsuccessful to present a contract to reflect the services they said they offered. Still I allowed them the opportunity try and come out and treat. They finally made it out the third time after they canceled twice. Once for a supposed wreck a tech had and another due to weather, I didn’t believe. Finally they showed on the third attempt but were unable to present a contract that included even half of the inspects they said they’d treat for!!!! They promote that they’ll come back between treatments if you see a bug they treat for but their contact specifically states in bold only if the bug is indicated on the contract! Save yourself the time and head ache and find better Competent company to do business with!!
Anthem Pest Control has been doing my quarterly pest control spray at my house starting in the 1st quarter of 2021. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant to use any pest control company, other than the one the builder recommended but Anthem had good reviews and good rates. The sales person was so nice, very thorough, and offered me a “name your price” down payment. It could’ve even been $0 down but I’m generous when it comes to good work! Before my first spray, I noticed a lot of spiders outside and slowly making their way inside. They were coming from the new houses being built all around me. Ever since that first spray, I’ve still seen spiders but now they’re all dead which means their spray works!! All 3 employees that have come to spray my house have been professional and very patient (waiting while I moved my dogs out of the house or when I add additional areas that I want sprayed). They’re very thorough spraying everywhere outside, and anywhere inside that I request. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good pest control company that’s reasonably priced and reliable. It’s also very helpful and convenient that they text me ahead of time when I’m due for another spray. They’ve also been very understanding and flexible when I’ve had to reschedule at the last minute. A+++ service!
I have been a customer of Anthem for over a year now. Up to this point they did a fine job but the issue I had today caused me to cancel my service. I have an 10 week old baby, and my wife was home and pregnant when they came out last quarter to spray. Today the tech Came to spray our interior. I told the scheduler over the phone that I had small children. The tech proceeded to spray our whole kitchen and laundry room while we made small talk. I mentioned we have a baby and he stopped and immediately told me that the chemical he was spraying was not safe for children under a year or pregnant women for a few hours. My baby was sleeping in the next bedroom. I did not know the chemical they were spraying was unsafe. This is a question they 100% certainly should have asked me before ever entering my home. On my part, I should have done more homework to find out if what they are spraying was safe for my kids. On their part, they should ask the customer of any safety risks in the home such as babies or pregnant women. I am disappointed that it had to end this way, but when it comes to safety, easy to avoid mistakes like these are not acceptable.
Tyrone Madison serviced my home on 03/10/22 and noticed the 2 ant mounds in the front yard and immediately took care of them. He also placed traps in the garage to deter rodents from entering the home; and destroyed all the mud daubers on the exterior of the home. Great service!
So not to mention the payments arent consistently taken out the same time each month. I never see them come do any work and the one time I actually caught someone at my home I had to make sure the cobwebs on my back porch were taken care of after he said he finished the service which was not done. They leave you a card on your door with no name of the service tech or what service they provided. I feel like they are just robbing me because Im stuck in this year contract with them on empty promises. If i could give a 0 out of 5 stars i would honestly. Not a happy customer.
Koni Dole, one of their sales guy will lie to your face about what your getting. Was promised a lot of things for my first visit and I didn’t get anything. I was also told to reach out to him if I didn’t like something and look at these messages. Ghosted. Overall the guys just come and do a very simple and quick spray and check around the house. They don’t even bother to throughly check the yard or get all the mud nest. And think about canceling. $200 dollar fee. Pathetic.
I am very happy with this company! Katie was the sales rep who came to our door. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the product and service and answered our questions without being pushy. Jake was our service technician, and he was friendly and efficient as well. He did a thorough job on our house. We have seen a few dead bugs in the past few days, but no live ones! I highly recommend this business!
I did not receive a call before services, and my husband had to tell the representative to put a mask on before entering our home.. I’ve had other issues with them as well, Once my contact is ended I will not use them again. Continue to have bad service, but I’m under contract
Jacob was friendly and professional. He sprayed outside around foundation ,windows doors eves ..ect. treated the lawn. He then treated the interior of my home all rooms and hallways. Most importantly he provided excellent customer service. Which is why I highly recommend them for Quality and value.
I do not like false advertising. When the sales rep came to my door the only reason we changed was because we were told they would treat our entire yard each treatment unlike our current company that only has a license to do 10 feet from our home. I was hesitant so I even called her back to confirm before we switched. So we switched. The techs have been professional and kind but they also do not treat the whole yard. I can call and pay additional money to have the whole yard treated. My other company was doing a great job and I don’t appreciate the misleading door sales.
My service today with Anthem Pest Control was amazing. Today was my first experience with them. They were highly professional, highly educated on the specific pest issues I was experiencing. I’m excited for my partnership with them and look forward to living in the results of their services. Our administrator was so kind and provided so much insight that we made him our primary technician. I would recommend their services to my family and friend.
We had a fantastic service today with Tyrone! We recently switched from another company and I couldnt be more pleased. Their VIP service with mosquito treatment was absolutely impressive... my house from top to bottom was sprayed as well as my entire 95 foot backyard that sits on a lake front. His partner also cleaned our spider eggs unlike our other company. Great service and friendly techs; service unmatched!
I just started using this service and I was a little skeptical at first, but Joe was my technician and he was extremely helpful, honest, and professional! Its important for me to be able to trust the people who provide services at my home and he came out to re service my yard and did it with a smile on his face and went above and beyond of what he was sent out to do. I will be requesting him specifically for my upcoming monthly visits. Anthem give this guy a raise!!! ....I just had to give him kudos he deserves it.
Was scheduled service today. Wasn’t sure about the time. Ended up working till 300 to find a post card on my door that had no services checked off and no service tech name. Pretty sure nothing happened. All the spider webs webs on my 20’ porch canopy are still there. No evidence of spray drying around the front exterior exterior…
Technician arrived at my house while I was not home. He was suppose to spray the entire exterior of the home to include the front and rear whether I was home or not. Technician lied and charged me for a service he did not perform. Little did they know I have cameras around the property to confirm they performed no such service. This company and their technicians have no integrity. I have lost all faith in this scam of a company. Steer clear.
Anthem did a good job while I had them servicing my home, HOWEVER, I cancelled their services not due to their work, it was other reasons that had nothing to do with them.My issue with Anthem is that after I cancelled, actually 6 months after I cancelled, they just showed up and serviced my home that was not needed! Then charged me $110! I have called them several times but they have not called me back. I’ve left messages and sent text messages. All have gone unanswered. I hate posting negative reviews, but I have no choice if they will not respond to me.
From my first introduction with the young lady Anna I believe her name is, she was polite and professional and add a little humor. She made a good impression and had a very good sales pitch. The prices are much better than their competitors. And then the tech came to my home and he also made a good impression. But, the real test is if theyre affective with their service. I will let you know!
Great customer service and a great price!! All the exterminators I have been in contact with have been extremely professional. We had a outside roach problem and since they have exterminated I have seen serious reduction of them outside and have only had a couple get into the house. Last summer before using Anthem there was at least one day getting into the house during the summer. I am extremely happy with all the services they provide.
The technician was polite and informative. He introduced himself and asked if we had specific issues for him to concentrate on. He told me what he would be doing and asked permission to treat out flower beds before starting. He backed away from the door when introducing himself so there was proper distance between us. I was please with the service he gave.
One of the pest control employee came at my house at 3:39pm he then left 10mins after! There is spider eggs on the side of the house and back. I know he didn’t go through our side gate. This is in Houston, TX area. I would have anyone in Texas find another pest control.
We used Anthems pest control service for the first time today and the experience has so far been awesome. They sent out a wonderful technician named Cody who was quick, professional, and really friendly. As long as you follow the guidelines emailed to you the service shouldnt take longer than 30 minutes depending on the size of your house and backyard. A great service.
Tried contacting multiple times to review the pest plan since they only wipe underneath the roof and never treat the lawn like they advertised. Literally watched as they took 10 minutes for the entire front and backyard. Not treating from house outwards to the lawn as stated from the beginning.They also promise if you see or get pest inside your home to call and theyll come take care of it. Well long behold never responds to calls...
I like the company’s service over all. But I think some times some of the employees don’t take enough time to spray every corner of inside. And if I don’t ask them to spray the garage they wouldn’t do it which to me garage is very important to take care of. Another thing is that they show up without calling and notifying me to make sure I’ll be home to open the door for spraying inside the home.
He came to the door and equipment in his hands. When I came out five minutes later he was gone. I don’t know he could have done in less than 5 minutes. I see no evidence that anything was spplied. He didn’t give me a chance to see what he did. I no paper record so am a bit confused as to whether or not I received service.
They knocked on my door on Sunday $20 to start 89 a month and they dont show up unless your home... sounded great. Means they dont bill you just cause they circle the house when your not there, I was in. They show up an hour later than I was told to expect them - not that big a deal the tech communicated well, then they hit me with do you acknowledge a 2yr contract. I was never told about one and would have saved myself and the tech the time. That should have been clear and presented just like they knocked on my door. I dont have a pest problem so its not something I was in need of but I really didnt need a contract or to have been disregarded. I was told the agreement was to have a tech come out to my property.
Guy came and knocked on my door to sell me pest services. He was offering a great deal. I dont really have bug issues but was going to see if I could get my husband to agree. He was pushing hard for me to sign up and told me that he was trying to finish this route and I said can I think about it. He wAs like this is a great deal and said he could only offer the deal for a few days. So I said that sounds great! Can I please think about it and let you know before the deadline for this deal? He told me that if I signed up now I could change my mind later and cancel before the appointment. I told him then it would have to be no, because Im on a tight budget and would need a day or two to think about it. He got mad and very unprofessionally walked off muttering.Sad thing is I wanted to sign up. I was going to look into this business and get with my husband to go over our budget and try to make it work.If you are selling door to door be sure you at least leave a card or give a person a day to think about it. If you can offer the deal now, then you can offer it later. And being rude and getting mad at me for not saying no on the spot just means I will not ever consider this company in the future. My mom gets the exact same price with a different pest control company and I will be going to them.
Man please do not I repeat do not let these people get your card information they will claim to treat your home every quarter and never show up! Your card will be charged faithfully even when they don’t come! The days they claim to have came my door ring camera shows nobody ever coming onto the property but the Amazon delivery driver! Then will charge you 200$ bucks to cancel when they themselves are the ones breech contract first! Don’t let them scam you!
Their service is terrible. Do not use them. The pest control service was horrific. They sprayed for ants several times and the ants never went away, they still got into the house. I ended up spraying Raid to finally deal with the ants that were coming in the house. They never got the wasp nest off the house as promised. For the first time in 5 years I had mice in my house. Never had mice after using any other pest control company. Needless to say I had to get rid of the mice myself. They had to come back and repeat service several times but never gave me notice when they were coming. One day they showed up at 8am, on my day off. to repeat a service for the third time and I had no notice that they were coming. I got a message from my security camera that someone was outside my house. Strangely enough he never knocked on the door and didn’t do anything in the back yard (I know because the gate has a pad lock on it and he didn’t have the code). He sprayed down the front of the house and left. As stated - this was a repeat service to make up for the fact that the first two times they sprayed the product didn’t work. When I told them I wanted to cancel they charged me a cancellation fee even though they have a guarantee. I specifically told them not to debit my account because I wanted them to send me a bill and they did it anyway. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY for pest control.
*Update 07/27/21*The technician who came out today did not clear the wasp nests from the eaves. Honestly, he may not have even performed the routine service either. I wasnt notified they were coming so I was not at home at the time. We will be canceling our service.In hindsight I would not choose Anthem again. We had issues with the techs not doing a thorough job and/or lying about doing the service. We also pay for ant treatment and Im not sure thats getting done because its still an issue.
Great service, Gabby in sales was so sweet and amazing I felt like I could have chatted with her for hours. Larry the technician was very informative and answered a lot of my silly questions. To make the service even better they both we very receptive to my talkative little toddler. A++ service
Bryce (sales) was courteous from start to finish. I appreciated that he understood on our first encounter that I was pressed for time. His tenacity to follow up the next day was much appreciated in that we are so busy and I really did want to hear his offer.Connor (service tech) was awesome. Patient, and inquisitive. Wanted to make sure to address the problem areas.Can’t speak to quality one way or the other because it’s only day one. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad, just means not enough time has passed. Will say, great bargain on the pricing considering the effort and tools needed to complete the job.Ask me in 30 days if they’ve delivered on their promise but I have no reason to doubt it.
Switched to Anthem because they were cheaper than my old pest service while also servicing the yard. Anthem uses granular control in the yard to help deter pests getting to the house while my old service does not. The technician Tyrone was prompt, communicated well, and thoroughly serviced my home. Highly recommend Anthem!
We got our first service today with Anthem. Gustavo and Jordan were very professional and did a very thorough treatment of our house and backyard which included a product against ticks and fleas (our former company only included it for an additional fee). After our disappointment with other pest control companies, I really hope to stick with this one. Thank you Gustavo and Jordan. Your service was excellent.
We just had our initial service done today, so it’s still a little early for me to comment on the quality/value. However, our technician (Jeremiah) was both professional and courteous. He was on time and spent the first few minutes discussing the treatment that would take place. After doing so, he got right to work. Jeremiah was knowledgeable and very thorough. If you’re reading this Anthem, please continue to send him our way!
They finished it too fast. They could kill the bugs in a house in 13 minutes together. I don’t think they finished it in the backyard. It was too fast and it was not professional at all. The house was just sprayed with pesticides at will. I didn’t put it on the island in my kitchen. Pesticides, so surprised! unprofessional
The sales person (going door to door in a no soliciting neighborhood) was extremely insulting and pressuring. I’ve seen him twice now over the past year and nothing has changed. Tries to pressure you into switching the same day and won’t direct you to a website or card to do your own research. Who would want to go with a company that chooses this person to represent them?
Joe from Anthem Pest Control provided our quarterly pest control service and did an extraordinary job! He explained everything completely and then executed on his promise to get everything done accurately and timely! He was the consummate professional and we highly recommend him and his company!
The girl was not very knowledgeable for her position.She was mainly concerned about the bill and getting in touch with someone to spray..She never asked if we had any issues.She never did any inspection of the property or home to do her own assessing .Just sprayed house. Did not explain any thing she was using..only said she would put granules in the yard.Then I was busy working on horse fence and she left without saying she was done...I personally think education is a key element to the your employees learning understanding and teaching their clients ....She never asked if I had any questions..or schedule next appointment.This is why Im only rating this at 2 starsThank youAnita Haynes
Salesman told me that my first payment was my quarterly payment and upon return for the second treatment that I would NOT BE CHARGED. Well I was, how are you going to sale me on a service and then renege on the contract. I made sure that I understood the contract before signing up for service. After they came out and did the first treatment they got paid, and then I paid another $109. This is unacceptable in my opinion I do not recommend this company at all. DO NOT SIGN UP unless you want to give money out for no reason!!!!
They are into systematic fraud, you have to be very careful dealing with them. First when the sales guy came he didnt tell that the charges of subsequent services are very high. He also didnt tell me Im committed for one year quarterly service with them if I take the first service. Anyhow to compensate my mistake I had to complete one year of service with them which was completely useless. We had so many insects and spiders all over. After one year they sent me another invoice that they did some external service! This time again it was a lie, no one showed up that day or time. Later we found on ring video that a truck (probably Anthems) was standing during that time on the other side neighbors house! We had to deal with them with all the evidence and finally they agreed to cancel the invoice!
Had my first visit from Anthem this morning. I had a window of 8 am - 10 am to receive services; the technician arrived shortly after 8 am. Technician was polite, respectful and was in an out in good time. The service was great; Ill be totally satisfied when the ants and spiders disappear however.
Service was excellent. The tech (Robert) called me before my appointment time. Also advised he could show up earlier if I was available. Once he got here he verified my info and explain what he was going to do. Ask me for permission to go into rooms and ask what rooms he could not access. As soon as he was done he told me everything he did and ask if I wanted him to do anything else. Robert was very professional and polite. Thank you Robert for today’s A1 job. Keep it up.
Extremely knowledgeable about the product. Very professional yet friendly. Robert went above and beyond the entire time. While this was my 1st service, I have no doubt that this was a great decision. Thanks Ben for following up and Robert for making this process painless. You both ROCK!
Anthem has more than met my expectations. Mike the technician was on time, courteous, and very informative and thorough about the product and process. He treated my entire home inside and out placed glue traps for mice in the attic, and treated along the fence lines out to the side walks. He also treated the house eves and windows and cleaned away spider and cob webs. This was WAY more than I expected and more than my previous pest control company did and they wanted charge for every little extra thing you ask them to do. I was really impressed with Anthem’s service.
I used to have White Knight Pest Control. (Wished that I would have kept them.) I signed up with Anthem Pest Control, HORRIBLE SERVICE is the nicest way I can put it. Literally the tech was here 5 minutes and did nothing in that amount of time. Was supposed to be here last week. Never call or notify you that they are on their way….just show up. Save your money and time. IHAD to leave a star to post my review. ZERO stars should be an option.
Yesterdays service was a joke. Nobody showed up during the 8-12 window you confirmed with me via email 2 days prior. This is the exact reason we switched from our old company. When your technician finally decided to show up, after I sent an email stating the window was missed, your technician performed half of the service because my wife had to leave. When she told him about him missing the timeframe, he dismissed it saying that we must have just put in the system, even though I have an email that states otherwise. The technician tops off this joke of a service by leaving the gate open to our dogs and they got out after we got home. Cleaning off cobwebs and mud dobber houses was not performed. He was there and gone in about 10 minutes as shown on our cameras. If this is how you do business, I would like to cancel our contract and we should NOT be charged the full amount for this service.
After the company having to reschedule they arrived early and completed the service quickly. We have a problem with ants mainly in closets, and after Justin arrived I was told they can not treat in closets- which was understandable, I just wish I was told before hand. But he did say he would put an ant gel down. I think he forgot though. As for the rodents, I was told preservice they would seal bigger holes around ac pipes and dryer vents, but after our guy got here I was told they do not do that. So for my rodent problem, they only set 4 traps in the attic, 2 sticky traps in the garage and a box in the backyard. I do like that if the traps close/the sticky collects a mouse that I can call and they will come out to take care of it and reset them. The service happened this morning, so I can’t say how effective it was, mosquitos were still very bad when we went out, but it is possible it takes a day or so. This was also only the initial service, so they may need the second treatment in 30days to really make a difference. We will see! I am hopeful!
We moved to our new home and since we were still in between our quarterly spray they still cane out and sprayed interior and exterior free of charge. They have really great communication with you. Great value for their product. Personnel that show up are very nice and answer any questions you have.
Corey was great when he came by to discuss the services that they offer. He asked a lot of questions in regards to being able to provide the best service for our home. Darius and Connor arrived early for the appointment and explained everything that they would be doing. They took their time and were very ptofessional. Overall great service.
We utilize the Houston location. Justin was our service provider for the first treatment. He was prompt for service and detailed in explaining how and what he was going to treat the garden, backyard and house. Super friendly and has remedies for all the pest concerns I had. Looking forward to more servicing from this company.
Wasnt expecting service until next month, no email,text or phone call letting me know that a technician was coming that day. Wasnt able to forewarn my college aged daughter that someone was coming to perform service, she just saw a stranger walking around our house, and on top of that he lingered at the front door trying to push his service card in the door, my daughter was a bit frightened about it, and really didnt appreciate that. Very unprofessional in my book.
I assume they did all of the stuff listed above. One of the reasons I decided to switch after many years of using another pest control service was because of their sales pitch in presenting how they cover the entire yard to prevent fire ants. I wasn’t home to observe today, but the last 2 times they came both technicians gave half hearted attempts at the yard. As a result I have more fire ants in my yard than I’ve had in the last 15 years. I guess I’ll have to do it myself until my contract expires.
The anthem rep that came to my home was very professional and courteous. He took his time to go over in detail what he was getting ready to do and asked if I had any questions. If you give any incentives to your employees he deserves one. Because of his courteous demeanor and great customer service I will stay a customer
The service tech showed up on time and was very professional. Explained to me what he would be doing and went over the charges again, which gave me an added sense of comfort, because it let me know that everything had been communicated accurately. Performed the service and checked back with me afterwards to see if I had any questions.
Extremely efficient and kind staff. On time and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and did the job in a timely manner. 10/10 would recommend.I am editing this review. It has been 2 months and we are flush with spiders and ants still. For the first time in my life I saw a black widow the size of a quarter crawl across my living room. My dogs followed it and I yelled at them to get away. I trapped it in a cup and took it outside and killed it. It could’ve easily bitten my small dogs n killed them. For being so expensive I am NOT seeing the results that were promised. As nice as the techs are this doesn’t excuse the poor results.
I signed up with Anthem after reluctantly opening the door to Cooper, who was going door to door recruiting new customers. He did a good job selling the company and their services, and the price was right, so I signed that day. They stumbled a bit by being late to their first scheduled service, but Cooper responded immediately to my complaint, and ensured they would not be late to the next appointment. He delivered on that promise, and the follow up service was exactly as expected. Cleared the eaves of wasps (we had one active nest), put out bait in garage, sprayed interior and exterior and treated for ants. Very pleased with service!
Great service! Justin was very professional and prompt! He made sure to address any concerns we had before and during the treatment. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about the chemicals used. Sometimes having a service company in your home is uncomfortable, but Justin was soooo personable that I didnt feel inconvenienced at all! Thanks for the great service!
Justin was very thorough. I asked him not to ring the doorbell and he didnt. I appreciated that I think he couldve done a better job at cleaning the webs but in all fairness, this may be due to my last providers lack of attention to cleaning the eaves. I think were off to a great start even though the spider had webs up by the next morning. Hopefully, the chemicals used will put an end to this.
I singed with them a month ago, they told me they will come to do inspection. one of their employer came without do any tings. after 1 month they charge me $247. Please dont use this company they will still your money without any services. If I can give them 0 on the reviews I will do it. Please no one singe with them.
Great, professional, very knowledgeable and respectful. Arrived early and explained the process to me. Came with a mask as respect and I let him know it was ok to remove if he so chose, as it was extremely hot. I hadn’t had my house serviced, well ever, and he spent the extra time climbing up my 20 foot arch and getting all the wasps nests that had been accumulating for over a decade (I know I’m bad lol). I can’t speak highly enough for the company from the sales rep, to the sales manager who took extra time with me when I didn’t understand the contract thing, to the technician who again explained anything and everything to me and even stayed away from the areas I needed him to so that the bugs I needed (for my animals ) could live. Amazing company from start to finish. I will be with them for all my bug needs. Highly recommend!! Thanks so much!!

2022-07-28Our technician today was Brandon, we’ve had some good, personable techs in the past but Brandon far exceeded any service we have had in the past. He was very thorough and meticulous, he did a great job! I would like for Brandon to be our regular monthly service technician. I spoke with Ms Sheila in the office on Tuesday and again today and I cannot say enough about the great service she provided, how easy she was to talk to and how accommodating she was when scheduling our service. I would be very happy as well if Ms Sheila called me every month to schedule my service. I believe that Anthem Pest has 2 stellar employees that go above and beyond to provide excellent service for their customers. It was a pleasure to talk with Brandon and Ms Sheila and I look forward to speaking with them in the future.

2022-02-23The service was wonderful from start to finish. We signed our contract yesterday, and our sales representative Austin was great. Everything was explained thoroughly and he was thoughtful. I was able to retain the information.Today when the technician came out he was great as well, his name was Daren, and he sprayed the chemical in almost every inch of my house inside and outside just the way I wanted! Anthem company also left something for me to use just in case Silverfish decided to visit my home.I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking to change their pest control service.

2022-02-21Yes they are wonderful and helpful when they sign you up but after that it is down hill. I have had multiple occasions where we requested interior to be sprayed and they just come to our house and dont knock or let us know they came by, we just get like 5 text stating we have an amount due. This company did absolutely nothing for us. We still have ants, spiders etc. Definitely would not recommend unless you just like giving money away.

2022-07-01Daron is the absolute BEST!!! He is very friendly, personable, professional, and thorough. He goes out of his way to make sure all of our needs are met for the yard and our home. He never makes us feel like a request is too much and never rushes his time servicing. Other service staff have been great as well, but we request Daron every month since we can’t assign him to our account. I sure wish we could so I wouldn’t have to call/schedule every month! Anthem will automatically setup a day/time each month, but I have to reach out to specifically request Daron. Overall, happy with Anthem!

They did the job quickly and carefully.Alejandro (Alex) was my sales rep that came to the house the 1st time to introduce me to anthem pest control. He is such a nice calm guy, he never made me feel pressured and helped me to feel comfortable with signing up and making sure I understood my contract and trusted them.
