Antonios Mexican Restaurant in other cities:
I had the three cheese enchiladas plate with sour cream and onion sauce, rice, lettuce and tomato and grilled veggies with no jalapeño. It was delicious as always. Ive been eating here for 22 years. Never disappointed, always stuffed to my gills. The,atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff has always been kind, fun, and shown great hospitality.
Super fast, clean, generous portions, attentive, friendly, food is average. I purchased the Super meal so I could try a lot of different things. The beef enchilada and taco were stuffed so full of meet but the meat was not very flavorful. The cheese enchilada and taco were ok but I did not care for the chili sauce. I believe it has too much chili powder and I believe that was to blame for my first case of all night indigestion in years. I did like the sour cream sauce. The salsa was hot without being overpowering. The rice was gravely and tasteless, the beans were runny but tasted ok. I think I should have gotten Fajitas or one of the Monterey Jack cheese melty meals, they looked really good. I have driven by there so many times in the evenings and the smells coming out of there are amazing. Maybe there was too much of a build up of my expectations. That would possibly explain why I was a little underwhelmed.
Fantastic lunch specials at great prices. Youd pay more at taco bell for what barely passes as food these days rather than an amazing home cooked meal from Antonios. Of course back in the 90s and early 2000s taco bell used to be 79c for bean burritos and crunchy tacos, that also was when taco bell used real meat without filler. Now adays after the trainwreck that was the Obama administration taco bell has started adding fillers to their meat such as oatmeal and corn starch, just look it up Im serious. Pretty soon under this clown Joe Biden taco bell will start using ground up bugs as filler that liberals will pay 4 bucks a gallon to get to. You get what you vote for! But back to Antonios. For 8ish bucks I got chips and salsa, a beef and cheese taco, a chicken enchilada and a cheese enchilada with a big cup of water. Really great food and very hard working people, thanks for the great meal!
I am thoroughly convinced that the owners of this establishment buy their good reviews, because there is absolutely no way that anyone would choose to eat here on purpose. First, when my husband got home, we were excited to try a new place that had mostly positive reviews. However, once I opened my to go container, I just knew that this meal was going to be horribly underseasoned. I took one bite of my refried beans, and immediately proceeded to go to my own pantry to grab a few seasonings to add to the plate. I ended up needing to season both my food and my husbands food. Not only that, but the salsa had absolutely no flavor, just spice. The chicken enchilada that I ordered were so overcooked and under seasoned, I wouldn’t even dare give it to my dog. Will definitely not be returning, don’t waste your time, money, or mental well-being.
Our family has been coming here since it opened. The staff is always amazing and the food is too. I love the chips and salsa very good balance. You dont have to wear a mask for covid. The staff is wearing a mask and there was plenty of seating. They are very clean in-between guest like always.
Recommended by my sons girlfriend, didnt even know this place existed. Food was good, had the fajitas - thought there should have been a little more meat but wasnt a bad purchase. Mango margarita was the bomb. Prices were very fair for the meals and a very good selection, to many things to chose from - took a while to decide what we wanted. Service was good, servers were very polite. Its nice to have a simple Mexican meal without all the pizazz that some of the other nearby competitors have.
This place is authentic. The food was delicious and very well cooked. The waitress was very kind and we didnt have to ask her for anything because she already know what we needed. I ordered Toñas plate which came with a couple is enchiladas and a crispy taco. It was incredible. Highly recommend!!!
Great food and impeccable service. My wife and I walked in once and the place was packed and there were people waiting for a table. We decided not to wait and walked out. A waiter followed us to the parking lot and told us they had a spot for just 2 people. Food is great, and sports is always on the tvs.Update..2022.. Food is still amazing. Service is still outstanding. The Cheese Chili Relleno is the best kept secret in Texas.
Haven’t been here in a while. Service was excellent and they were working hard. Unfortunately, the food left lots to be desired. I usually enjoy more salt on my food, but the beef chimichanga was too salty and and the meat tasted and felt old. I thought maybe it was the dish, but my sons cheese enchilada was too salty also and he wasn’t having it. The beans and rice were very bland though they had a good texture and I could tell they were fresh. The meal left a residual bad taste in my mouth long after we left. I would compare it to a reheated or microwaved Mexican dish. I’ve never complained about going here, but tonight’s meal will definitely make me consider other options in the future. I really hope it turns around.
This is some excellent Tex Mex food! Delicious beans and rice. Some of the very best salsa and always fresh and hot tortilla chips! I love the tacos and my hubby says its the very best cheese tacos hes ever had! This is a hot spot in Burleson with lots of people enjoying this little secret of a gem for Mexican food! You will not be disappointed!
I usually dont leave bad reviews but this was all around disappointing. We visited due to great reviews... but were let down by the food. It was a lot more Tex than Mex... we ordered a half order of chicken nachos and got a small plate with about 6 chips with cheese and chicken... for about $8. I wish I wouldve taken a picture to show the disappointment! One of the other plates was a half order cheese quesadillas... it just looked sad with nothing else on the plate. The other food was bland and umseasoned.
The service was friendly and food came out fast. The food on the other hand...not so good. Bland, tasteless and no flavor. Potatoes in fajitas? Instead of cooking the onion and bell pepper with the fajita meat. They were cooked separately. Note thats why it was bland. The refried beans were so runny and had no salt. I could pour it. The rice no flavor. No I dont have covid. I just know good Mexican food. They need to bring in a better chef. What they had was a bus boy. Sorry, I will not be going back. How can you mess up fajitas?
Chips and hot sauce are definitely on point, hot sauce is always very flavorful and the chips are always fresh and crispy. Whoever is making the drinks, definitely knows what they are doing, always delicious. As for the food, very average, lacks flavor, also, most plates are over priced for very average food. Last but not least, the service here is always superior, very attentive staff.
Always enjoy coming here to eat and spend time with familys/ friends ..food is always good and fresh( hot) and price is reasonable and restaurant always clean .. My server was helpful and polite and a gentleman ( wasnt trying to hit up on my girlfriend like some other mexican restaurants guys do ) I will return as usual !!!
We had the pleasure of eating here for the first time today. We had a rather large party, but the wait staff seemed very capable of managing efficiently. Alejandro did an excellent job of taking care of us and was able to accurately take our orders with amazing recall skills. The tortillas, chips, and salsa easily rank as my favorites for any Mexican food. As a vegan I was a little leery of what I would be able to eat, but that was put to rest when they offered their fajita veggie plate that was absolutely amazing and filling.I would totally recommend this place for their food and service. The missing star comes as a result of their nacho plate my son ordered. It seemed a little lazy with a couple chips laid out covered in cheese. Not what you’d expect to pay $6 for. Otherwise, I would not hesitate to return.
The BEST Mexican restaurant in town! The chips are hot and the salsa is yummy! You wont be able to stop eating them. The place stays busy for a reason. I took my grandmother here for the first time and we enjoyed our food a lot! The waitress was very attentive to us and checked on us frequently. My son was stuffing his face with chips and my enchilladas. I recommend the El Super. Thank you for the pleasant experience as always!
When ordering something to go... the food is never ready on time. And this last time I went, I was standing outside for 10 minutes waiting for someone to actually acknowledge me — I called and was told it’s be right out. After 5 minutes I called back and asked had it even been started and he’s like yes but it’ll be a few minutes. Anyway, finally got food. Told server to tell manager I won’t be back.
Not the best, but it’s pretty great anyways. Above average food for the most part. The staff is hit or miss, as I’ve had one of the best waitresses ever and some that were just “there.” However, everyone is friendly and the food comes out quick. Prices are ok. The bar is pretty good. My favorite is the swirl. The prices at the bar are worse than the food, but are still ok.To expand on the food: there are dishes that hit more than others. The Ceviche is actually the best dish up there, and it is better than a lot of places in the area. Some other dishes just don’t cut it. I can’t say specifics, you just have to try them.I keep it in my sit down Mexican food restaurant rotation.
First time to eat at Antonios. Wife and I both really enjoyed our food. We were met promptly at front and seated in a roomy booth. I am a large person and most booths are too small. Chips and salsa were immediately served by a pleasant person. Then our server, Carlos, took our drink order. Chips and salsa were very good. Our entrees served hot and well prepared. The corn tortillas are great. I suggest asking to sit in Carlos area as he is a great waiter. Very fair on the prices.
Have eaten at Antonio’s for a long time. Went in there this evening and ordered one of their egg dishes. When ask told them how I wanted the eggs cooked. When our food came out my food was cooked totally wrong. Sent it back. By the time my food returned my family was done eating. I cut into the eggs in which were right. I then notice that the dish sitting in front of me was not the dish I ordered. I sat the dish on the empty table next to me. The manager on duty came by and saw it. He ask if it wasn’t cooked right and I explained it wasn’t the dish I ordered. I then reminded him what I ordered and he said that’s right. Said he was going to talk to server. We were leaving and I was charged for a dish I didn’t order or eat! Piss Poor! I wouldn’t even give them a one but had to check something.
Service was on point for the most part. Our server had a 20 top table, us and another 2 top that was closing out when we sat down. He handled it well, he was a little bit behind on a few steps but was very quick to get all we needed. My food wasnt bad but lacked in size and content. I ordered a combo fajita the beef and chicken were good but there wasnt much there six smaller pieces of meat in total and only came with Guacamole beans and rice. No cheese or sour cream ☹️. The kids had hard taco plates. The taco shells werent crispy they were hard and chewy. Neither of the kids ate them, the took there meat out of the shells and used the chips. The chips and salsa are good but accent chips that came in the guacamole and queso were so much better then the bowl of chips. We will try it again and possibly ask for the the colored chips instead and try out different food.
We had lunch at Antonios on a Friday afternoon. The place was busy not swamped. Our chips and salsa arrived immediately! The salsa was a little too spicy for me, but Im allergic to jalapenos. Our lunch arrived quickly, still hot. I ordered the chicken enchilada, and substituted the beans for a salad. Pretty good stuff!
We recently had a large gathering in the back room and we reserved space for 40 people. We ended up having about 60 show up and the staff was awesome. They were very efficient. Our drinks and salsa were refilled constantly and the food came out very quickly. They brought in extra tables and chairs to accommodate our growing group and even split up the ticket individually for everyone, which I know is a huge pain. If youre having a large gathering and looking for a place to go, I would definitely recommend this place.
If I could give this place a zero I would, the food was good and came out quickly but our waitress SUCKED!!! Would not come back and check on us, when we asked for cheese for fajitas charged us 1.69 for a small side of cheese! You can buy a whole bag of cheese for 1.69! To top it all off when we asked for our check she gave us this look like we had completely inconvenienced her by trying to pay the bill, I know it was Valentines day but the place wasnt even that busy, several open tables. So sad food is great but service is terrible.
New to the area and first time here. I am disabled and I was met with a lady employee holding both doors open on the way in as well as the way out. How refreshing ! My server I believe was Maria and she was very polite and professional and always smiling . The food was as great as the service. There chicken enchiladas ,rice, salsa and queso where great. restrooms where clean. Highly recommend Antonios and will return
Chips were warm, hot sauce was spicy but not too spicy, queso was one of the best ive tried. My husband and I shared the combo chimachanga. Delicious!! And plenty of food. Steven was our waiter, he was great!! We did not lack for anything. He was there with a smile and ready to help
Glad to see they are taking COVID seriously :) Customers and employees are both required to wear masks but you can take them off while you eat. The food here is awesome and one of my favorite places to eat in Burleson. Give it a try and youll see! Great food, great people! Love it!
This place is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. everytime I want to go to a good meal, this is the place that comes immediately to my head. very good and all sorts of food and a large list of dishes.great team, and good spirit. And very important, the bill is modest. I tell about this spot with no doubt.
Very very poor quality food. Ive had better out of a frozen tv dinner. Enchiladas were burned corn tortillas, very little filling, dried chicken jerky, hormel chilli for sauce. The chips, salsa and my kids fries were the only good part of our meal. $2.49 for a tablespoon of sour cream, $5.98 for a kids quesadilla which was 1/4 of a tortilla & cheese. The service was good, our waitress was sweet and she kept asking if we were sure our food was ok....she knew what was up. $46 for 2 adult entrees with 2 enchiladas, one child meal and a bowl of canned queso. We will NOT be back.
This place has been our favorite for years! Good food! The best hot sauce and chips around. Drinks and food are always great and weve never had a problem with anything weve ordered. We are at Antonios at least 3 times a month if not more! The food comes out fast and hot!!! Excellent service as well.
Im not sure how this place has such a high review. It wasnt bad, it just wasnt good. Maybe its better for people who prefer bland food or arent accustomed to a lot of seasoning or fresh ingredients. I may be wrong but the salsa tastes like it came out of a jar, the rice seemed like instant rice, the charro beans tasted like bean water with a little bacon and onion in it.. I dont know.. we were extremely disappointed in our meal and left wishing we hadnt gone. The fajitas didnt taste bad... they were average at best and at almost $14 for the mixed I expected something more. Also, the chips are... not my thing. We wondered if they came out of a bag as well. Theres much better Tex-Mex in town. I dont understand how the food was so bland. We ate it but our hearts were empty lol My husband said one of his enchiladas reminded him of canned tamales... ew.
I don’t know why I haven’t reviewed this place yet. I have come here for so many years and it always the best. Occasionally over the years there has been a waitress or two that wasn’t the best, but that type doesn’t last long here. Antonios is very serious about customer satisfaction. They are so quick it will shock you at how quickly they get your food out. It’s almost like they’re mind readers and know what you want and have it made in an instant. It’s not cause it’s pre-made cause I order my food special each time. I just watched them take a table of 13’s order and have it out in like 6-7 minutes. That’s amazing!!! They are sooooo nice, clean and professional. I can’t say enough about this place. In all the years coming here I’ve come to find that Carlos and Sammy are my favorite servers and they will NEVER disappoint you. Just a hint, ask for them if you want the best!! Those guys are THE BEST. Good Lord sitting in here watching them work makes me love this place even more. I love Antonio’s!!! If you have a bad experience here then it will only be a one off situation. If you let the manager know, any manager here, they will take care of you beyond your expectations. They are the best!!
The service and food is not good anymore. My mother got food poisoning from there a month ago, almost had to go to the ER. My grandmother 2 weeks later got sick too, then I just recently heard 2 other people I know got sick as well. This place needs to be checked, 4 people sick within a month of each other, not a coincidence.
Antonios is a family-owned Tex Mex restaurant. For me what makes this a great Mexican restaurant is the wait staff. Go there more than two times, and they know your face and your drink preference. Of course the food is absolutely awesome, and every item on the menu is worth your attention. Enjoy!
Ordered 2 meals to-go. One was completely incorrect and didn’t come with salsa. When my girlfriend called to let them know they said “if you want to come back up here for your full order of nachos ricos(what we ordered) you can”. Well I would hope so considering that is what we ordered and payed for. Instead of them going above and beyond for what they did wrong we now get to drive back up there 15 minutes later for what we should’ve received in the first place. We also get to have our other order get cold while doing so. Very bad service.
Used to be my go to place for Mexican food but lately it has become a disappointing place to dine in or dine out. Ordered some faijitas to go the portion was the same price as the dine in price but the content was far less. My wife and son dined in as I was not feeling well. What they had that night was also a big let down. Please whatever has happened lets get back to where it use to be. Please also make sure that the portions are the same dine in or dine out.
Lets start with the good. Its good clean atmosphere. And the food is edible. Not for the so good...Chips and Salsa.. The chips are good but you can tell they werent fresh and seem like they are store bought. Salsa is more tomato paste than salsa. Didnt have any salsa like flavor.Queso, was very much like most quesos from small restaurants, not much too it, not bad, just not great. The meat in the queso was flavorless, dont recommend it.Main course, I ordered the El Jefe. Cheese enchilada, tamale, taco and beans and rice. Again nothing really bad, but it just seemed subpar. Nothing was really rememberable.Having lived in the area for over a year now, a lot of people I know have said how good Antonios was. It didnt live up to the hype. I was disappointed. Again nothing was truly bad, except the salsa, just nothing was really good.
We’ve been here a few times and food and service were very good. Not today. Service was good — it was 11:15 am. Not busy. Food was TERRIBLE! Husband Ordered burritos plate. Nothing but unseasoned cheap hamburger meat wrapped in a flour tortilla with a little cheese sauce on top. Runny, runny refried beans and bland rice. My order should have been a chicken enchilada. Beef taco and cheese enchilada. Instead had a enchilada with the same hamburger meat with a sour cream sauce. The taco had the same unseasoned hamburger meat, undercooked, with a little grated cheese. No tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream. The only decent items were the queso, salsa and chips. We complained to waitress, she asked if we wanted to order something else. We werent up to another disastrous meal so we declined. She brought the bill, we paid, no manager came over to even discuss the food. We eat Mexican food out probably 3 times a week. Have never had such terrible food. Ended up going down the street to another restaurant.
Absolutely my favorite restaurant, the Chile relleno is the best I have ever had, stuffed with the fajita steak or ground beef, topped with queso is to die for. Best chips and salsa I ever had, great consistency, and just the right amount of heat, fresh cooked chips, and authentic recipes that take you south of the border. Great beer selection, love Modelo especial and their margaritas. Service and management are great and amazing! I always bring friends and family to share my Antonios addiction.
Reasonable. Fast. Never very crowded. I always get the nachos al carbon 🤷🏻♂️. Nothing special just good. Chips and salsa on the table. Chips are nice and hot. The salsa varies but always good. A lot of fancy Mexican food places have been popping up everywhere. This one isnt like that, but in a good way. Its just old school style Texas tex-mex.
The restaurant was very clean. There was no wait time at around 4pm. The prices ranged from $8.59 to about $12.00. I had the dinner called the number five. Consisted of rice, beans 3 enchiladas. I chose the beef enchiladas. It did not come with pico or guacamole or even sour cream. I had to the order pico . you do get served chios and homemade salsa.
The bare bones atmosphere as you walk in the door belies the excellent food and kind service thats to come. Sopapilla are amazing, tacos and enchiladas above expectations. Chips are simple and rustic, salsas has a bit of a bite. The servers seen to really take an interest in the regulars, too. Absolutely fantastic experience.
Cant say I had a great experience here. The staff, including the wandering hosts/managers, seemed more concerned with getting people in and out promptly to seat the next customer. Ordered fajitas and got a chicken breast that was cut in to about 5 slices with a few peppers spread out across an entire onion. Flavors werent anything special either.
If your looking for real Tex Mex. This is not the place to go. Service was great! Staff was very nice. Restaurant is large and clean. Salsa is actually great we loved it. My wife got flautas plate, chicken was dry and had no flavor. They literally taste like they were bought frozen and fried. Tortillas are not homeade. They are store bought and taste funny. Beans and rice were surprisingly good. I got the Edgar plate, which is two burritos with Chile con carne. Sauce was not very good had no flavor. Meat was bland. Not pleased at all with this place most definitely will not be back. NOT to mention prices are very high for this type of food. !
Is there another Antonios in this area that warrants so many positive reviews, because this place was pitiful! The only thing worse than the food quality was the abysmal service. We were 2 adults and a child, we ordered our meals and when our food came out they brought the adult meals and not the child one, when I asked about it, the waiter insisted I never ordered food for my daughter. He probably should have written our orders down considering he fiddled with a pen every time he checked on us and even went back to ask about one of our orders that he had forgotten after a couple minutes. Then after we ordered the childrens quesadilla it took 15 minutes to come out. We werent going to eat in front of our daughter for 15 mins while she waited for her food so our food was cold, maybe it would have tasted fine warm, but its doubtful, Ive had equal quality Mexican food at Green Burrito. And MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RECEIPT I dont know if our waiter knew he wasnt getting a good tip so he double charged us to try to increase his tip, but with only 3 people at a table its easy to spot extra items on a receipt. We will most definitely not be returning after that mistake
This is my favorite restaurant, I had always preferred mom and pop places then chain restaurants when it comes to real Mexican food before it was On The Border but this surpasses it when it comes to the Fajitas oh my God there are huge chunks of meat and the shrimp too
2.5 out of 5Burleson location: Very, very average. About what you would expect for a small town Mexican restaurant with, mostly w.a.s.p. clientele. I had the cheese enchiladas and unsweet iced tea. The tea was very weak. I noticed the sweet tea looked a bit darker, possibly stronger? Rice was a little bland, beans were good, but needed more texture. The consistency of the beans was like pudding. A tiny bit of shredded lettuce and skimpy cheese enchiladas. I could barely detect the cheese. Ranchero sauce was typical, reminded me of El Chicos.
We eat here every time we visit my parents. The menu has a wide variety, the chips and salsa are delicioso, and the enchiladas are muy rico! Prices are typically between $7-$13 for dinner. Theyve made the place look muy authentico since expanding. I feel like my trip home is slightly unfulfilled if we dont stop by here.
This is our MOST favorite stop in Burleson!! We have been enjoying their delicious meals since they 1st opened years ago:) Try the Chile Queso Chicken Fajita dinner....its WONDERFUL:) Oh.....thechips and salsa are also another family favorite of ours!!! We no longer live there so they are our first stop in and last stop out every time we visit:)
Never would I of thought I would be giving Antonios a bad review but, after my experience tonight I am so irritated that I felt it was a must!!My family and I have been coming to eat at Antonios since its been in Burleson, were loyals and love it. A normal night I called to place a pick up order for some chips, queso, salsa, and rice. The girl who answered my call immediately sounded annoyed to even be working. No Thank you for calling Antonios, how can I help you etc. When I placed the order I questioned what sizes and difference there were, her response We have small or large, what do you want?. Ive been in the service industry, i get having a bad day so I let it go. When she tells me my total, I thought it was a little high and wanted to confirm that for that price I was going to get a good size bag of chips. Her response you dont get any because you didnt order a meal I did just place a order for chips and salsa. Her response to me questioning that well you ordered a large so a large...her tone was that of idiocy. That was the final straw. I asked to speak to a manager and he barely seemed concerned with how his employee just treated a customer. Training is used for instances exactly like this and I hope they invest in it!I go in to pick up the order and even worse they never placed my order from 20 minutes ago!! When they got the same manager he cowardly hid in the kitchen avoiding to even come say sorry for the inconvenience I just experienced. I remember when he was a server, did a much better job at that than his manager position. On top of that the girl who took my order didnt even apologize but smirked and rolled her eyes at me just topped the whole experience off. Adolescent immaturity!!Antonios, before expansion, always had great service to accompany the food and atmosphere. Ive been in the service industry for 10 yrs now and with the standard of restaurant Antonios seems to put on its a disappointment that they find this kind of service to be acceptable.Ironic is that my mothers 50th birthday is next week and I had planned to call Antonios this exact week to cater the party. I think we may be rethinking this decision.Very upset and disappointed tonight with one of my favorite restaurants.Food has always been great but beware for the lacking service, may not be worth it anymore!
Customers for years, love the Tex-Mex comfort food and attention to service. This is like the Tex-Mex fare I grew up with, happily discovered in my new town. Located in the middle of town with a casual atmosphere (much appreciated and preferred over chain restaurants sensory-overload decor), its a great place to meet or to get away from the bustle of the highways restaurant row. Covid update: in Burleson only Antonios filled Cinco de Mayo call-in orders-- love this place!
Burleson Local Reviewer -This is quite possibly the best tex-mex location in Burleson. Service is fantastic from the moment you walk in. The tables were clean, atmosphere was delightful, wait staff was polite and attentive, and the food was pretty good. The salsa could be improved a little, but the tableside guac was to die for. Overall a great experience compared to other tex-mex restaurants in Burleson.

2021-09-25I’ve in the area for 3 years. I keep seeing this restaurant pop up when we look for new restaurants to try near us. Tonight we decided to go. They sat us down and it wasn’t too busy, music is very low so it’s great to make conversation. When you are seated, they bring chips and salsa and your drinks quickly. The chips are great, not overly salty and don’t brake off. Salsa on the other hand…..let’s just say that pace has better flavor and that’s unfortunate to experience at a restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and so, so helpful from the time you walk in, to the time you walk out to pay up at the front. Anyway, back to the food. Our orders came to our table and my fiancé got the chimichanga which looked delicious! He said it was great also. Kids ordered chicken tenders and fries which are just the frozen kind you’d expect to find but they’re toddlers and ate them. The reason for the three stars is for my food. I paid $16 for a plate of food and I could only eat half. It was bland. The plate I ordered was Steak Guisado and there’s no way the salsa they used is made fresh in restaurant. Just tasted like they poured the salsa they bring with the chips and salsa and sautéed some veggies and called it a day. The meat…. I could just imagine what Gordon Ramsay would think just by looking at it. Paper thin and it took me forever to chew. It was hard to bite despite the fact that it was paper thin. It’s as if they scraped it off the walls of a deep freezer. I didn’t dare eat the veggies after one bite. Beans and rice are bland but went the worst. This is a place you come to order either a chimichanga or nachos, but not anything else.

2021-07-09We love trying new places in town. We had a desire for Mexican food and this place was amazing. Nice, calm and authentic setting. Attentive and respectful service. I ordered the chicken flauta dinner and was highly impressed at the quality and size of the meal. Would come here again!

2022-05-17I ordered to go while waiting at the pet clinic at the Burleson location. The nachos were good. I especially liked that they were deconstructed for better take out. Would like to try dining in next time.

2022-05-28Good customer service. I ordered the Monterey taco meal with a chicken enchilada. It was ok. The rice was good. The chicken was dry in both the enchilada and taco. Maybe they used old chicken??

2021-04-03Im convinced most of these reviews are from people who have never eaten real Mexican food. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly, but it was absolutely underwhelming. Bland and greasy. This was over $30 in food. My $9 margarita on the rocks was pre-mixed from a bottle like you buy at the store. Maybe this is the best the area has to offer, but its pretty bad.

2020-01-31I honestly have no idea how they have such high ratings, their food was horrible both times I tried it. My mom got us to go plates and the enchiladas were the worst Ive had in my life so they agreed to give us half off if we gave them another try. The second time we went to the restaurant and it was no better. I definitely will not be back. I eat Mexican food ALL the time and never have I had such a horrible experience. Huge disappointment!!!!

2018-12-08I was looking for a good Mexican breakfast spot. One of my favorite places was over an hour away so I was willing to try and find something closer. Im glad I stumbled upon this place! I got the huevos rancheros and my wife ordered the enchiladas. The food was piping hot and on point. The salsa was fresh with not too much spice. The Chile con queso was creamy, smooth and delicious, with a generous portion for the price. I highly recommend giving this place a go if youre looking for some amazing food.
