Our waitress was great. The food was ok. Service was pretty quick.
Our waitress Charis was the best waiter she made our night great. She is a wonderful staff she is amazing. The manager James was great as well he is a wonderful manager and he is very pleasant. Great group of workers to be around.
Awful. Steak was so thin (less than 1/2 inch, maybe 3/8) and tough. Ordered Oriental salad to go, no dressing, no flatware. Place was empty so not like people were rushed.
We just love eating at Applebees - normally consistent food. Service today was terrible - either waiter or chef messed up all but one of our orders (dang, never DID get my coleslaw!!)This particular franchise was way outdated, but clean nonetheless. I was mentally begging the manager to stop by the table and ask how things were, but make on duty manager walked by table three times without even making eye contact.Bad experience here...orobabky wont be back (regretfully).
Charis and Rachel did a great job serving tonight! Drinks were cold and refreshing, and the appetizer combo was just what I needed! Also, the manager Erica came over to check on our table and made us feel so welcomed. I will be back for sure for their Halloween drink specials!
Food took longer than expected but the food was delicious.
It was good, but really 3 1/2 to just under 4 star. Seating was very fast, took awhile to get served. Staff was friendly. You could tell and taste its a heat up and serve type of food. Not really good, but not bad either.

The worst service I have ever received! So many empty tables and yet it took 30 minutes to get seated. It took at least 10 to 15 minutes just to receive our ticket, be charged and get on our way. Our server gave us our food checked on us once after that. The manager or person that seemed to be in charge, Rosa Burns, was rude and unfriendly.
Good service in a covid safe environment. I was surprised that there was no wait on a Saturday evening. Alamo Ranch location is always so crowded, so we were happy to be seated immediately. BTW: restroom was clean.
Jordan was an awesome waitress! The riblets were fantastic! Great place - so yummy! Try the fudgey brownie bites with pecans - sinfully decadent! Come back again and again if you live near, I wish I did!
Tried every restaurant in Hempstead but even the fast food chains had closed dining rooms and it wasnt even 9 oclock. So even though I had to drive half an hour I was very satisfied with this place. The food was pretty good and overall prices were great. Service was a little slow at times but still enjoyed the experience.
Went there with a friend for dinner it was not really busy the people there were very nice and friendly the waitress was really good the food was excellent very easy to get to

So theres a HUGE shortage of staff as I write this - not just here but everywhere. Thanks covid...ugh...but that said the food was still good and the few staff members they did have were trying very hard to take care of everyone. The building was clean, bathrooms were clean and well stocked (nothing worse than no soap or paper towels ya know), only reason it got 4 stars was this nugget of wisdom: dont be afraid to put people on a wait. Id rather wait or even go elsewhere than be a burden to a server who already has 5 tables and is pushing being in the weeds.
Applebee’s was definitely having a bad night!!! I ordered a promotional item Chicken Spinach bowl. In return I got the chicken Alfredo which the server informed me the kitchen made the wrong order and that they would fix it. However when I got my ticket the Alfredo bowl was on the ticket and not the chicken spinach bowl so means the server messed up and not the kitchen. The table next to me ordered and one of the gentleman got his order but the second gentleman ended up getting 3 salads all 3 wrong, steak cooked and re-cooked , and cooked for the third time and still wrong and then overcooked at that. I don’t know if the servers aren’t paying attention, just don’t care or if they are in such a hurry to get rid of what few customers they have to be able to leave sooner. ButI do know that my server didn’t write anything down therefore probably why my order was completely wrong. They young man waiting in the other table seemed to be new and needs more training. I ordered to go food as well and I didn’t even think to check the orders. But I ordered the strawberry balsamic chicken salad and the Southwest steak bowl. I did not get chicken on my salad but I got the Southwest chicken bowl instead. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
Was sat and 15 minutes later after asking twice, still hadnt met our waiter. No drinks... Got up and left.
We waited 20-30 minutes before getting our order taken. there was no bartender in the building, so the manager had to take over. the waiters and waitresses seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people yet there were only a few tables being used. food felt low quality.
Went there on Christmas Day. Good food. Good service even thou they were short staffed.
Sweet tea was a whole nother lvl sweet. They did not have menu items that our local one had. And no draft. Something about a cooler down. No bag to take left overs home in either.

Service is slow, I did not receive what I ordered. Ordered an 8oz steak, received a 6oz steak. Part of my wifes order was missing. For some reason, the waitress couldnt deliver unsweetened tea. There was no refills. Rarely saw the waitress. I gave them 3 stars, because the food was really good.

Service was slow, they were out if romaine lettuce so the salad my wife wanted wasnt available even though they were across the street from two grocery stores. Weve been there several times and its always slow. no more, we are done with them
Service is exceptional. Jaylon was not my server but he made it a point to make me feel welcomed and ask me if I had a good experience several times during my visit. If he isnt in a managerial position already, somebody put him in one! One classy guy!
Service was slow. The servers are very nice but they just kept forgetting orders and didnt seem to have any system in place to check on customers. The restaurant was not busy so there should be no reason for slow service.

Food was decent but service was terrible...We waited more than 10 minutes for our drinks and 15 for our appetizers and there were maybe 6 other families in the restaurant.Our waitress was not friendly, didnt smile, and didnt want to be there. There are plenty of good restaurants that appreciate our business to spend any more money at this place.
It was my 1st time ever eating at Applebees. Waiters were awesome food was not worth the price we paid for it. Stake was under cooked I did ask for it to be cooked with no blood but still juicy..I received a bloody stake and had to send it back my sides werent correct but I ate them anyway and by the time my stake returned we were pretty much ready to go. Me personally I dont think Ill ever eat at Applebees again

We left unhappy for a variety of reasons. First, the restaurant was dirty, inside, outside, and in the restrooms. Second, there was a long wait on service, followed by a ridiculously long wait on food, sprinkled with profuse apologies from the waitress. My wife was ready to leave and we were talking about this when the food finally arrived. Third, some of the items were cold.. Fourth, the waitress apparently thought we wouldnt give her a tip, because rather than leave us in peace to determine a tip and sign off, she stood at the table after she returned with the credit card and receipt, although we were not yet ready to leave. Until that time, I had not found fault with the waitress, but I thought that behavior was pushy and even rude. Sadly, her strategy worked, because we left a tip when in hindsight it was the one of the rare instances (less than 1% of the time) when a tip is unwarranted. We have been to many Applebees restaurants over the years, and this was by far the worst experience we have ever had in one: we had never had a negative experience before. I will not be surprised if the help wanted signs in the door are a replaced with under new management or closed signs in the near future.
I start my new position with Applebees in Katy today! Super excited to join the team.
If you are looking for a very quiet dinner with absolutely NO interruptions, this is the place for you. We were seated had our drink order taken and told that our server would be with us shortly. 30 minutes later our server comes, no drinks still, to....you guessed it, take our drink order. Long story short, as soon as our server delivered our order which took over an hour, mind you people who came in 40 minutes after we ordered, ordered their food and got their food before we got ours. We didnt see our server and had to flag her down twice, once for a refill and the other time was to cash us out, the other times we needed something we had to flag another server near our area who would send our server. The food was decent enough, but could have been better.
Me and my husband went up to applebees for some drinks, and the bar tenders Rachel and Sincere were very unprofessional after we got ready to leave expecting a tip.... This bar and grill needs new bar staff, and send them to school for how to treat a customer. Its to be determined if corporate is contacted or not.
Went to Applebees today to eat since everywhere else in town was packed. Sat down and waited 30 minutes and no one came to my table. Got up and left. Will not return. Everytime I have went to Applebees in the last year the service has been horrible. Always think Ill give them another shot and its always the same thing.

Over the past year, we have been to this location 7 or 8 times, maybe more. Each time they have seemed short staffed and service and wait time was horribly unacceptable. My daughter and I went today for drinks. I decided to order the endless wings, my daughter said she wasnt hungry so she didnt order food, just drinks. When the waitress brought my order she told me her manager said if we shared the entree, I couldnt get more. So I asked her, do u mean if my daughter eats just 1 wing or a fry I cant get more? She replied yes. I told her I wasnt paying $12.99 for that and take it back. Unacceptable!
Atmosphere was great, so were the patrons at the bar. Bartender very helpful too!
The place was busy, but we stood at the door for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. We should have taken that as a clue and left. Most people were seated at the bar, so we thought, since it was late, that maybe we should just seat ourselves. Picked a table in the bar area. The bartender and manager were slammed behind the bar. Neither looked up to even say hello. After another 10 minute wait, finally the manager noticed us and brings a server to come take our order. The servers had walked past us several times without stopping. It was busy, but not so busy that this felt justified. Food was good. Service sucks. Order to go and save yourself the trouble. If youre not wearing oilfield clothes, they barely acknowledge you. We had an appetizer and went home to cook because it was that slow.
My host who seated me was Scooby my server was Shaggy both were great my server Shaggy was awesome got my food to me quickly kept my drink refilled awesome job today
Waitress was very rude because we were a large table. But the manager lady took care of us her and the bartender were awesome.
We visit this restaurant often and enjoy our experiences there. Chris Holt always gives a warm welcome and seats us according to our wishes. The wait staff is efficient, and the food is always good. We have had a couple of times when there was some confusion understanding the specials on the menu, but not anything that would keep us from coming back. We especially enjoy getting the hamburger special on Mondays. Thanks for all you do!
I love their chicken baha tacos.. not the greatest service at times.. not all the time. The economy is to blame. But good times for sure. Prices are high it seems to me but I still go.
Food was not very good, took almost 8minutes to get salt pepper and catsup. Got water instead of the drink I wanted, and all you heard was the phone ringing because they Wouldnt answer it the whole time, and it wasnt even busy.
As soon as you walk in you are welcomed & seated. Our waiter was really sweet & kept our glasses full. We order the 8oz steak & the 4 cheese mac & cheese the food was really good. For dessert we had the pecan buttermilk cake & it was addicting!!! Over all it was a good experience in a great environment.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner since our kids were gone. They had a special holiday menu, and great service. My husband wanted to watch the Dallas Cowboys football, but was not able to listen to it. The manager on duty was nice enough to figure out a way to turn the volume up. Win win in my book.
We went to celebrate daughters 21st birthday. There were 10 in our party. The hostess tried to seat us in 3 booths...wowA waitress was very nice and she saw to us getting tables put together and being seated.We ordered drinks which took about 30 minutes to get. We ordered appetizers and waited over an hour to get them...some 21st birthday celebration
We stopped to have lunch today 2/23/20 at 12:31 and it was a disaster!Table #54 Rachel A was a not so great of a waitress. Took our order and that was the last time we seen her. I ask for some melded garlic butter from the greater and he brought me some plain grated butter (hard). Our water and tee was never refilled. Spoke with manager and she never offered to comp anything. I only ate two bites of my salmon due to being to dry. Well that was my last time at Applebee’s!!!!!!!
Didn’t quite get what I ordered, but wasn’t going to send it back due to restaurant being short staffed. My meal was subpar at best and will not return to any Applebee’s locations again.
I know they were pretty busy but when your waitress only checks on you to get your drink order after 20 minutes waiting and then when youre about to leave then theres an issue. Im not sure if they had to do the cooking for their own tables, but the wait was ridiculous. It Is our own fault that we waited. We shouldve just walked away. Definitely will NOT come back to this place or recommend it to anyone.
So my mom and I and my 13 year old son just left about 30 minutes ago. Our service started out great when we ordered but then quickly took a turn for the worst. Our food took like an hour to get to the table. We asked for water. Never got them. I had to stop the manager to get us some water. Asked for a box to take my leftovers home and never got it. Tried several attempts to stop our waiter and he kept going as he walked past us. A group of about 25 people came in and sat down in his section after we had finished our food. He started taking their orders and never came back to us. Our check was overcharged. Had to wait for the manager to correct it. We are from out of town and will never come back to this Applebee’s again.
Well things have changed. The manager was the cook, sent out burnt food. didnt get the marinara sauce with our food requested it, got cocktail sauce. My husband asked for a refill on his iced tea well, she took the glass 20 minutes later two trips to our table and he never got his iced tea. When we finally get our bill, they had a charge on there for the burned food that we requested they replace. Will not be going back. No manager should send out burnt food. And when youre a waitress and you only have four tables, theres no excuse. I spent many years as a waitress. I would never have served burnt food or treated customers so poorly.
We had a great time at this location! Their brisket tacos are on point and the zesty chicken sandwich was great! Our server, Tanner, was very helpful and attentive to our party. Our order came out quickly after we placed our order. We plan to dine here again soon!
Our family decided to meet here because its convniently located for us. Let me say right off that the staff here was just fantastic. Everybody was so friendly, attentive, and helpful! They took really good care of us, and we enjoyed our meals too. Great experience!
We had a great experience here!! We had the 2 for $20 lunch special and the price was right on point. Our waiter was the bomb. Very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure we were happy all along the way. 100% satisfied with this restaurant the way its run, its employees, the food and the prices. This is a definite go to for family-friendly environment. if you have high expectations of a restaurant you will not be let down here!!
The bartender who took our to go order was fantastic! The food not so much. We waited about 45 min for our food, it was still warm when we got it home, but it was overcooked, the salmon was hard and dry, maple mustard glaze sauce was tasty. The new pepper chicken pasta looked NOTHING like the picture - little or no bacon, 3 pieces of chicken. The bartender, great attitude, took care of all her customers, pleasant etc. She was a 5, the food was a 1.
Wish we could give a better review but we were so unimpressed with this location. They were understaffed and the poor ladies working were trying to each handle 4 or 5 jobs at once - this is the reason they at least got 2 stars. The food was not appetizing at all. We ordered the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp and 1/2 rack of ribs. The best part was the fries on the kids meal. Oh and the spinach artichoke dip was pretty good too. After trying several Applebees locations with the same result, we wont be back anytime soon.
I have been in town for the last couple of weeks on business and have tried eating here a couple of times. I was excited to dine in because I came into town several months ago and had a great experience with one of the managers. She was so kind when my call in order was made wrong and even drove my new order to my motel. I was impressed with her going above her responsibilities to take care of me. I thought with that kind of service I would enjoy a sit down meal there. I know it’s Applebee’s. I am not expecting much fancy regarding the food but on both occasions the service in the dining room was horrible. I waited entirely too long for my food and the restaurant looked filthy each time. I never saw a manager? Tonight, I think my food sat a while but it wasn’t bad. I ordered won ton tacos. I love those. I was sad to hear the manager that cared enough to bring my food to me wasn’t there anymore. I won’t be bringing my business back here that is for sure. I am addicted to the tacos but will get them at another location.
We were promptly seated, our waitress Jordan was friendly, knowledgeable and patient! It was a Sat afternoon of a holiday weekend, but our food came out fast, hot and RIGHT! The prices are reasonable and there are specials. We needed a special handicapped table accommodation and recieved one with a smile. The waitress was was attentive and brought the things we needed BEFORE they were asked for! Good music, but not so loud you couldnt talk. A little cold inside for me, but my husband was comfortable. Overall a GREAT MEAL! We were traveling and passing thru, otherwise wed definitely eat here again! I wish the location in Beaumont, near us was still open!
We came in from Houston and were super tired and really hungry. Rachel, our server, Immediately made us feel right at home. She recommended delicious drinks and even helped me navigate the menu to find some vegan options. Our beers were cold and our food was hot. The onion rings were super good. Rachel was very attentive and let us know about all the specials they were running. We had a great time and left full and satisfied!
Food was good. Service was lacking. Appetizers came out with no problems but then we seemed to be an afterthought for our waitress. My husband didnt get the shrimp he ordered until he was half done with his plate and I never was brought my food. Im not sure if the waitress was cooking or what but it seem like everyone stayed in the back. Our waitress did refund our ticket for the salad I ordered.
I came in for the 12 minute lunch special the other day. My cheeseburger came out in like 10 minutes and It was well done and delicious. The manager Crystal stopped by and made sure we enjoyed our food and recommended we get the giant cookie sundae. I left full and happy. Keep up the good work!
Been going there for years, unfortunately the service gets worse every time we go. We stood waiting to be seated for a good while, several employees just walked by and didn’t even acknowledge us. Once we got a table it just got worse. It took 10 minutes just for someone to take drink order then another 10 mins to get the drinks. 45 minutes later we still haven’t got our food or refills I asked the manager about the poor service she said we are short handed and would get us refills after she cleaned some tables. They were not busy at all, not even 1/2 capacity. Once we finally got our food it was at least ok. It’s definitely the worst Applebee’s I have been to.
While traveling, we stopped here because it was convenient and knowing the food would be okay at best, we were not disappointed. We were a party of 5. The hostess took us to a booth and I asked for a table. I guess that is offensive enough for the hostess to cop an attitude. She was very rude after that. The service was extremely slow. I did see favoritism how the regulars were treated as opposed to our strange faces, seems like they would treat everyone with the same courtesy, not here.
Tried to eat there as a softball team - was standing outside door for 20 min waiting for them to open with no one else waiting but our team and they come out saying they had one cook and one sever? Wow - don’t want 30 something customers to start their day. Guess better than poor service in hind site but higher staff
Food was good. Service was lousy. Wife wanted unsweetened tea and three times in a row got sweet tea instead . Had to wait for them to make fresh while my wife remained thirsty . Took 15 minutes and 4 trips to kitchen to finally get it right
Completely unorganized in regards to staffing and seating. Dinner was just ok. Riblets had little slivers of bones that could have easily been swallowed had I shared them with my children, (which I was getting ready to do, until I came across that). Prices are not competitive anymore, so I really cant see going back. Their food and service is forgettable.
Just got done eating here with my husband. It’s about an hour before closing and even though we arrived shortly before they close, the server, Lauren, made us feel like we were her first guest of the day. Even the bartender,Brandy, stopped by our table to welcome us for coming back. I definitely feel like we are family and look forward to our next visit.Thank you Applebee’s in Brenham

First time in a long time since eating here. Always good food and exceptional service, we have just been busy. Today was very good. I had a new dish of grilled chicken breast topped with mozzarella sticks, marinara sauce and parmesan sauce. Excellent. My husband got the steak. It was good, cooked the correct way, except one bad part. Service was outstanding, thank you Hayden.
This place has improved so much since my last visit. I had the chance to met the service manager James, hes is super friendly and genuinely loves what he does. You can see it in the way he carrys himself. Hes making great changes to this place. I cant wait to return to this friendly, fun environment. Also always great drink specials and half priced apps.
Me and my niece had to wait almost an hour to get a drink after being told it would be 20-30 minutes due to a large party and being understaffed. That was fine butwhen other people that came in after us and was served ahead of us. We just left. They were rude and unresponsive to us.
One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant ever. It took our server 20-25 minutes to just refill our drinks. They weren’t complex drinks. Just a lemonade and a Dr. pepper. They brought out an entirely different plate of food than we ordered. One of our meals was completely over cooked and on top of that our server practically disappeared the entire time we were here. She only appeared to tell us our food would be out soon. She was very absent for all the tables she was waiting on. All in all it was an awful experience. If you have Tiffany S. as your server I recommend you ask for someone else. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
The brenham location has always been good. I come from SETX and it wasn’t as good and they closed all branches. Glad I have the opportunity to eat here again. I love eating at the bar and seeing the lovely Brandi, she makes it all better. Such a great bartender and friend. Very well kept. Friendly service and great atmosphere. Great food and drink deals that rotate often. One of our favorite places to eat, we come at least once every week or two.
The appetizers were great. The problem was with the main meal. The five cheese Mac and cheese was rigatoni noodles with shredded cheese melted on it. The chicken and broccoli Alfredo was buttered noodles and no Alfredo sauce. I could go on but you get the point. Nowadays I would figure restaurants would be doing everything possible to keep people coming back. The place definitely isnt trying.
If I could give 0 starts I would!!! Went there last night for my sisters birthday like we always used too! We waited for over an hour for our food. When it finally came out it was cold. & the steaks we had weren’t cooked they were red & bloody. Shame on you Applebee’s! Our waitress was great, but for everybody else not at all. Y’all have lost my business.
Sat there for an hour before my appetizer was brought to me, I didnt get my drink until right before I got my appetizer because they needed to brew a pot of tea. By the time I got my app. my entree was on its way out of the kitchen, I got the lemon grilled chicken with rice, the rice was hard and cold and the chicken was flavorless and had no lemon vinaigrette on it. The wait time was terrible my group sat there for almost 3 hours and most of the time I didnt see any employees walking around the manager on duty came and got things for our table twice. I probably wont be going back
Great meals in a bowl ! I had the country chicken bowl, friend had the orange chicken bowl, another had the shrimp bowl, yet another, a sliced chicken and rice bow. The only glitch, was an order of baby back ribs that were a bunch overcooked, but Rosa was QUICK to make this order, perfect! Place is clean and brightly lit, service was rapid and most pleasant ! Would we return ~ YOU BET WE WOULD ! (enjoyed the surprise desert for our two birthday honorees !)
10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone, the wait staff is exceptional and on top of keeping you happy. The food was quick to be brought out even with a larger group and service was always with a smile. I will definitely be returning to this location.
The worst service EVER!Weve been coming to this applebees for almost 10 years. Tonight was the last night we will go there.We ordered a few drinks and an appetizer and we were there for 1.5 hours, we needed to be there about 30 or 40 minutes. We had to go to the bar and order our drinks a second time, and Brandi was too busy talking with the bar patrons, which we were bar patrons as well.Dont waste your time.
Took 20 minutes to get drinks, only 3 other tables with guest, appetizer was tossed at us onto the table, when food came I was handed and extremely hot plate, she handed to to me rather than setting it on the table, food was brought out dry and luck warm. Sent blue moon out without an orange, went to bar to get it myself and was rudely told I couldnt have an orange. By far the worst meal and service Ive had in a very long time. Go to Chilis!
The food was really good. Love spinach artichoke dip. It is delicious. I enjoyed the lemonade vodka drink also. The waiter was a very nice young man. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant.
The waitress was nice. But dont eat at Applebees unless nothing else is open. Its food-adjacent, at best.
Before visiting Applebees, I had never been to a restaurant in Texas that actually let my tea reach the bottom of my glass. And that pretty much sums up my experience at Applebees.The food was good, not great. The service was good, not great.We had a pleasant dining experience but it was nothing to get excited about.
They were super shorthanded on Wednesday. It took a while to get service, but the food was excellent. The 4 stars is just for the slowness. Good part, we had plenty of time to catch up on our day.
Service was terrible . Customers cussing at bar and there was kids in restaurant . Customers who came in after us got their food before us. The steak had no flavir . Almost seemed to be booked not grilled . Steak was supposed to be med and was basically well done . Tom over 30 minutes to get our food. Worst experience I ever had there . Sad part is they werent busy at all .
I absolutely love this place. But every time I come here, I’m always greeted by Christopher Holt. He’s such a sweet and funny guy. And, I love going to the bar to see Brandie Lewis. Awesome bartender! Super nice and helpful when I’m not entirely sure what I should get to drink.

This was a horrible experience. I ordered Bourbon street steak. Didnt figure it to be a 10 star steak but had hoped for OK. Well I was way way wrong. Ordered medium got rare but rather than fix it or not charge me for it she took the plate and brought me the bill and still charged full price. No let me make it right let me get you another or nothing just Im sorry you didnt like it. So I paid $15.99 for something I didnt even eat one bite of. 1 star is an over kill should be in the negative.
Went in for my birthday recently, I would go in usually once every other week and it had been sub-par. I went because it open later then many other places. the drinks came out slow and warm and when issues are brought up, the management is absolutely dysfunctional. Ive seen Manager Ashley grill employees better than any of their cooks can make a steak. Shes a fan of publicly yelling at employees to make a point and then doesnt fix anything. This recent visit is my last and I highly recommend avoiding it.Pros-Open late-Decent menuCons-Slow service-Average/poorly cooked food-Tyrant Lunatic Manager making the entire scene uncomfortable.-Dirty (Next to the booths are moldy lumps of old food)-ToGo is cold (they leave is sitting out as its made so apps get soggy)

I have only been to this place a few times and every time I go my order is messed up. The management has no sense of caring and the staff is unhelpful. Waited 30 minutes for a friend to get a draft beer and my order was totally wrong. How hard is it to make a cheeseburger with no veggies?

Me and my family have been a few times this month I have had to go find a table on my own as well as the service is bad and my steak has not been done all the way like i asked for it. So my friend Chris that works there told us to come on the weekend because the bartender is great and is always turnt up and drinks are always good.. So if u go ask for Chris he’s the best and get the drinks on the WEEKEND!!
Ive never had a bad meal at an Applebees. The only issue with this meal was Im not sure the chicken was cooked as long as it should have been. Could have been on the grill a couple more minutes and been fine. And the amount of garlic butter used was excessive. The basil tomato soup was very good. Id go back again.
I have been to this location several times, but I received the best service from Rachel! She is super friendly and attentive. Our glasses stayed full and our food came out hot ( which has been a problem in the past). I will now come back and only sit with Rachel.
It was busy in there tonight. All of the waiters and waitresses were on top of their game. Very acceptable wait time. I never had to ask for anything. Excellent service. My waitress was Rachel. Great job!
Not a great place to go on Valentines Day alone if you know what I mean.*Beer* is extremely expensive. Its double what youd pay for the same beer you can get somewhere else close in the area, on top of that the atmosphere is quite dull and unappealing.On the other hand their food tastes pretty good and is a decent price.
We went for dinner Saturday night. They were not busy at all. Service was very slow and the waitress acted like she didnt want to be there. She kept forgetting what to bring with our order. Had to remind her what came with what we ordered. Food is over priced for the size they serve. Wont be returning to this Applebees again! Very disappointed!
Went by on Memorial Day when few local places were open. I tried the $7.99 cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger was overcooked. But my shock was the tea for $3.29. I wont be back.

Used to love coming here with my family Chris and Rachel are the nicest people. They always greet us with kindness and great customer service. But last night my family was greeted with vap smoke from other employees outside. My little sister has asma and started chocking right away. I and my dad both received steak that was so over cooked we couldnt cut it. When we asked to speak to the manager my sister had a coughing fit because the manager stunk so bad of cigarette smoke. Dont think we will be back, until they find new management.
The staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely be having a good time. My food came out hot and quick. Cant beat the bourbon street chicken and shrimp! Ill definitely be back when I come back this way!
Stood at the door for 15 minutes, before flagging down a waitress. She tried to seat some regulars walking in the door, ahead of us. When we got a table finally, everyone walked past us and ignored us for the next 15 minutes. Still waiting to place an order. The food better be good!!!!!

She was unattentive and very rude.. she informed us she was not having a good night and it showed in her service.. food was decent and the manager was friendly.. even tho she could have made it worth our while financially for the horrible service. I informed her I was visiting and didnt appreciate Normas lack of customer service! I still paid full price for every thing. As a previous server Ive seen guests checks comped for less!! Needless to say I will never ever return to this Applebees for anything, not even free ice!!
Our waitress tonight had a bad grasp of the English language and apparently doesnt quite know how to be a waitress yet. The person that served us our appetizers decided she wanted to be a smart alec... I have to say for mine and my ladies first anniversary going to Applebees our favorite place as a matter of fact our favorite Applebees was a poor choice and it wasnt a very happy anniversary dinner
Awful. I came and had supper and I think I saw my waiter three times the whole night. The food was mediocre at best. The hostess, Chris was on the ball though and seemed to be doing three peoples jobs. The only reason I know his name was because he actually stopped by my table to see if we were okay and even. I wish the rest of the staff would have his enthusiasm.

I wish I could give zero stars. My family and I had gone to Applebee’s for dinner. The service sucked, the food sucked. My husband and I waited 10 minutes for our drinks and turns out they didn’t have the blue moon and my strawberry margarita was watered down. Food was over cooked. We got the unlimited chicken tenders and riblets and fries. We got another plate took 10 minutes to get our second plate and when we did they only gave us three tenders. Never again will we come back to the place. We will take our business else where
Our waiter rachel killed it tonight. She gave us our space and would check up on us when she knew the time was right. She kept out drinks full and always had a smile. We sat at the bar areas and the bartender brandie was awesome too yall had a good team tonight. So we will definitely keep coming again .

So Im not big on reviews but I cant help it after this last try. So we visited here Tuesday and took us 2 hours to get out food and eat. The manager did take care of us so I chocked it up to them having a bad night. So when we cam back into town again thought we would give them another try. So making more than a 30 min dive into town to eat with 3 young and hungry boys we arrived. We where seated and had been waiting for 20 mins to be served I then approached the manager about this. 10 mins latter still no service so we walked out. During this whole time there where 3 different waitresses that had walked by at least 6 times each. This was 2 trys at a new place to eat in town with total disipointment.
Whats worse than sucks? Bacause sucks doesnt even begin to cover it.Took forever to even place a drink order, only to be told theyre out of pretty much everything, the waitress also warns me that theres a hell of a wait and theyre out of literally half the menu.We eventually get the (3) drinks only to have lemon forgotten. Finally get chips and salsa from the host because theyre out of a few of the appetizers too. I ask the host to remind the waitress for the lemon. He sweetly brings it but the cup its in is covered in what I *THINK* was ranch dressing. He was about to refill my husbands drink but itll be a while until the soda bag is changed out.Finally, the manager and busser bring our food... Im pretty sure my daughters mozzarella sticks are what those Stretch Armstrong toys from the 80s were made from. Her poor little 16 month old teeth wouldve had better luck chewing a super ball.I ordered the turkey dinner special because the waitress was unable to tell me what comes with any of the few remaining options and the menu doesnt say either. Probably wouldve been decent if it werent cold but that dressing is what Im pretty sure may have been fermented apple crisp, aged to a lovely cat vomit color / consistency. We couldve experienced our disappointment a lot sooner if we had napkins or silverware.Oh and did I mention that the waitress never once came back to our table? Dead serious. Not a single time. But I did hear the table she had behind us getting pacified with jello shots because they hadnt seen their food and the table next to us being told that their 3 orders were one of the ones she put into the system that supposedly got lost so it had to be completely re-done. Nevermind the fact that they got there long before we did.I know its Christmas but it was honestly no busier than any given weekend evening. We have had horrific experiences at this location in the past but the choices were slim given the holiday.This all does explain why Jack In The Box had a line all the way around the building and out to the highway.While miserably sitting here, hoping this is the sweet angel of death coming to take me home rather than that food taking its toll on my insides, I remember that we were happy with the host who meant well and the incredibly sweet busser that helped bring the order and had such kind words on our way out.

The TVs are great! Had a lot of fun watching football. Brandi the bartender does a great job and the manager, Cristal, is terrific too. I think I found my new Sunday funday hang out.

Absolutely unforgivable!!The only reason for 2 stars was that we were greated with a smile at host podium and given my request of table w chairs as opposed to a booth. Oh and food was good. Food was ok, but entree came before appetizers and then finally companions entree came. Service very unattentive .According to my Mother, the service is always this bad whether slow or busy.People go there because not a lot of choices and the food is decent. Improve your service!

Applebee’s in Brenham, TX is honestly perfect. The food was great and on time. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. Our waitress was great her name was Dezaree and honestly we had such a great time with her! Loved it and will definitely come back!!
Wish I could put a lower star. I am a former employee and I didn’t know of this rule that if you quit you can’t come back for 90 days which ok I understand but I came in tonight and a sever told me this policy that I do not know at the time, I ask to speck to the manager and ask about it. But instead of manager even trying to talk to me they called the cops on me and still with them not talking to me. I would of left and they would talk to me but they did not. Then I left with no problems, so I decided to see if I could work this problem out so I called up to speak to them but when I got on the phone when she realized it was me she hung up the phone, even trying to talk to me which I think that’s a little childish. Felt humiliated and made all the other guest feel uncomfortable during their experience and I am sorry for that uncomfortable. I felt super uncomfortable sitting there with the cops called on me for a simple problem that could of been solved if the manager just spoke to me.
Me and my boyfriend were going out for date night. And we ordered the 50 wings for 25 dollars cause we were both pretty hungry. And the waiter said that is usually only for take out, but its okay, no one will say anything and you can just eat them here. So we were super grateful, until the waiter came back and told us never mind the manger told me you cant eat them here. So we asked for our menus back and the waiter told us well the wings are almost done.. and my boyfriend asked okay then what are we suppose to do? And waiter replied well you could just take them and leave...or go eat them at the dennys down the street... that in its self makes NO sense. But then my boyfriend asked to speak to the manager for an explanation, so the waiter left and we waited another 15 minutes and the waiter came back! Not the manager...and gave us the most BS excuse as to why we cant eat them there. Oh! And they never brought us our wings. So we just got up and left. WORST experience ever.
Jordan was an exceptionally good server. She was attentive and friendly. She made sure all of our needs were met. In addition to Jordans excellent service, management was eagaer to accommodate me with a replacement entree’ upon me stating my chicken didn’t taste right. I highly recommend the Brenham, Tx location.
Great place to eat!!! My family and I stopped by yesterday, everything was great from the time we walked in to the time we left. Our server Rachel was wonderful!!! Food came out fast and hot we will definitely be returning.
Menus dirty, bathroom dirty. Glazed salmon ordered- no glaze on it. Had to ask abiut it. Told they didnt have it. When i explained that is why I ordered, they found but told me it was frozen and I could wait for it to be heated. Then brought it ice cold. Oh and all veggies serves were extremely salty! Terrible experience! $40 meal for me and my husban at that!

Food was good and waiter attempted to be helpful however drinks took a very long time to come out and food was supposed to be spaced out from when appetizer came out. But food came out less then 5 minutes after appetizer.
This is the best restaurant for sure! They have the best wonton tacos and cold draft beer! Did not have to wait long on order and service was excellent! The manager is always out talking to guests and makes you feel welcome!
The shrimp was raw, the ribs were super burnt, the mac and cheese had little to no cheese at all, and to top it all off the waitress asked if she can just eat the other appetizer that we didn’t want. The waitress looked like a methhead
Ordered the queso appetizer and hamburger with fries. The queso and the french fries came out cold. The waitress, Taylor, was nice and polite, she microwaved the queso and then when I said the fries were cold she got her manager for me. The manager had the kitchen send out hot fries. There were two problems with my order and at a minimum the queso should have been taken off the ticket.
Waited forever to be sat. Finally got sat at a dirty table and no one ever came to wipe it. After we ordered i waited over 40 minutes before i finally got up and left. Restraunt was not busy, there was only like one other table in the whole restaurant.
Thanks to Lieutenant Kelvin Raven from Brenham Police Department, He came to my rescue as I was in a serious accident I ran out of money and someone called in a gift card for food and all of a sudden they couldn’t find it. He was able to find it even brought me my food. This is definitely someone who went out of their way and is much appreciated and is excellent person I was proud to meet. Thank you Lieutenant sir.
The hostess hair looked messy in the pony tail. It looked like she got up and just put a rubber band in. The food was okay and the ice tea was warm until I stirred it. The waitresss were fantastic.

We come here often but tonight was horrible. Appetizers came out with the meal after 45 minute wait but our ranch salad had no ranch. We waited for 20 minutes before having the manager bring some and still the server didnt remember. I later asked my server for a to-go box and I had to get one myself 10 minutes later.

Horrible service, we waited 45 minutes to be told that they had ran out of one our entrees and one person in the party of four would not be able to eat. They were barely apologetic and did not accommodate their own shortcomings. One of the entrees that did come out was cold, dry, hard, and crusty. Would never recommend.
Im not sure what in the backwoods hell is going on with this place! We were greated by methed out Martha who was buzzing around not accomplishing much of anything...everything took a decade..long story short 30mins to get an appetiser. Old brown celery and no silverware...15 mins later we recieved our meals...no napkins though...everyone at the tables had the same facial expression...forlorn and wondering why the hell they didnt go to whataburger...BIG NOPE
We went here after we couldnt find another restaurant open in Brenham. It was a terrible way to start a vacation.We ordered entree salads, and they were wilted and tasted awful! We had a nice server, but there was some poor country-singer type playing LOUD live music. Wasnt a good experience at all. I expected average food, but I hoped for something edible.

Disgusted, just saw one of my friends get fired because some lady walked up and screamed “you’re cut” and walked away. Me and my family didint even know how to react! Watched him leave and walk out but he left before I could get any details on the situation.Just RUINED the entire atmosphere and my families meal.

Walked in the door. Waited for a while to be sited. Then we sitdown and this night shift manager (Jerry) comes to the table and says you cant have your own drink here. I explained to him that is necessary medical content with a prescription. He didnt care one bit. This business is rude, unfriendly, and breaking federal ADA laws. The formal report will follow with the feds. This people would have rather have their customer incapacitated than accomodating for an ADA covered medical condition requiring minimal minimal accomodation.What is happening to our country.... Even the conservative areas are turning bad....

If I could give 0 stars that would be more appropriate. Today my parents stopped in this Applebees to have lunch on their way back from Austin, TX. They sat for a while waiting and no one came to seat them. An older white couple walks in and the staff hurries over seats them and still doesnt even speak to my parents. They were disgusted with the place so they went right up the street to Whataburger and were taken car of. Its sad that these things still happen today in Texas but not surprising! I will never and when Im done no one from the companies I represent, will stop in this town to spend our money in this town. As far as Applebees in Brenham they are a bunch of Racists!! This isnt over by a long shot.
The only positive thing that came out of my visit was our host, Christopher Holt. He was the sweetest and funniest guy- made a rough experience with the restaurant all worth it. I would go back just to have him again. He was a complete joy!!
The computer was down the day we visited, so it took a little longer than normal to order and receive our food. The food was very good and the waitress friendly and attentive. Remember to ask for the senior discount.
The food was fine but I decided to sit in the back and saw everybody blowing smoke out of vape pens in the kitchen and by the bar. Kinda spoiled my appetite. And on top of it I had to seat myself. Do better with your staff please!
Had appetizers at the bar. The chicken wonton tacos were a good surprise. The on bone wings were very large and almost more than my husband could finish. Lots of specials also to choose from.

I came into Applebees with the girl of my dreams. It was the night that I was going to pop the question and I was very hopeful for the resteraunt to come thru at least somewhat decently (my past experiences were dismal) since Chilis was packed. Off the bat I was greeted by vapelords at the door which caused my eyes to redden. After waiting for 5 minutes we decided to seat ourselves, struggling to find a booth/table that wasnt messy and or sticky. We failed unfortunately so being the gentleman I am, I took off my expensive bape jacket and sacrificed them on the seats to allow my love to sit without having to worry about the filth. 10 more minutes passed and we were finally greeted by our waiter who reeked and was also obviously under the influence of the devils lettuce. We ordered the pretzels and waited patiently for it to arrive, but alas I would never see those pretzels since a huge cockroach crawled up from under the booth into my womans lap. She got up and left the establishment and has not returned any of my calls or texts to this day and I now suffer from depression.
Food is too greasy, employees are rude and grungy looking, cops constantly driving around the parking lot or watching from a distance with binoculars waiting for someone to leave after having a drink. Basically a set up. Dont go there.
Rachel Mullen is by far the best server ... She makes sure your okay and if everything is good if not she will see to it being fixed . She smiles a lot while talking to her customers to be honest she’s like the only reason I come lol GREAT SERVICE ❤️
We all got the 2 for 25 and our bourbon street chicken was AWESOME! The ribs were AMAZING, and the boneless wings are our FAVORITE! my daughter just LOVED IT!
Service was horrible! Took 10 minutes for some one to come take our drink order. Then another 10 or 15 for a waiter to come take our order. Entrees we ordered werent correct. We wont be going back for awhile.

My food was warm. My husbands hamburger meat was red not cook on inside. I told the waitress to heat up our dip bcuz it to was warm cheese cool. When waitress finally check on us and ask how was the food was I told her what I am texting above complaint she said oh Im sorry. We didnt want our food to go back for 2nd time bcuz you never know what happens to your food. It wasnt busy so therefore our food should of been hot. We will never go back to Applebees there
Poor service, oriental salad tasted like coleslaw. Manager didnt care that food and service were poor. Left hungry and disappointed. I have a new meaning for what Applebees stands for.....means eat at Chilis!
The food and service were great and it was well priced and fast. However the music was so, SO loud. Almost impossible to talk to my husband much less to the waitress.
The people here are really great. Although sometimes short staffed, they work their hardest and always treat you like family. And you gotta love a half priced app!

Unprofessional employees. We walked in 45mins before they closed and they condescendingly told us that “this is brenham, we don’t serve that late”. Unknown to them, we are local to Brenham. They weren’t polite at all. We were apalled that they were so rude right off the bat. First time to go and will never go back.

Service is iffy from visit to visit. Food is unoriginal and usually overcooked, bar drinks are slow, floor needs replacing, booth seats are hard and very uncomfortable angle. Booths also have little room between the seat and the table. Music is frequently at night club volume.
We went to Applebee’s because chili’s was closed and Tanner was just the sweetest . He helped us out and pointed me in the right directions to enjoy a successful dinner .

The staff was great, but the food was not prepared correctlu. The salad was served on a hot plate. The grilled chicken penne plate the noodles were under cooked and the grilled chicken was cold.

2022-01-21We went to Applebees around 6:30 today and we were seated. The host gave us a menu and a happy hour menu. I specifically asked about the hours and was told it was all day. The waiter came to take our order. A little bit later another waitress came and said the drinks were ringing up regular price and no one knew how to correct it in the system. I informed her there was no need to go any further as we were going elsewhere. This was a horrible first experience. We ended up having a great meal down the freeway. No Applebees for me.

2022-04-21This is my second time ordering ribs from here. I ordered through favor app so the first time the ribs were delicious,tender & falling off the bones. I ordered the same thing today & I must say the ribs were tough so I was a little disappointed in the quality of the food. 2022-04-09Were just told no bartender today! We would have to sit at a table and maybe could get a beer. Short staff! Always something with this location Wont be back!We understand but not our fault. Management needs to get this place going!

2022-05-02Horrible service, asked to be seated and hostess said that the bartender will get upset if we sat at the bar area. I asked why and she looked like she was afraid of the guy. Needless to say we did not go any further and left.

2021-04-26The food can be good or bad sometimes, it all depends who is preparing it. I try the new bowl. Dont try the orange chicken bowl it has a bad taste, the chicken grill was good. Remember its frozen food heated up, is not fresh. Dont get alcohol drinks waste of money.

2022-02-01My server Lili did a wonderful job serving me and my valentine. We shared a great tasting meal and some drinks to get things going. The restaurant is clean and well managed and the bartender is personable.

2022-02-05Food was good but the serving size was disappointing. For $6 I got half a bowl of tomato basil soup and the bowl was small to start. Three spoons of soup and all was gone.

2018-12-12The service was great, but I ordered the chicken Alfredo with broccoli. The meat was hard and chewy and flavorless. My kids enjoyed the chicken strips and We did enjoyed the dessert. But would not return in the future. They do have many more options to enjoy, but I myself will not stop by again.
