When I try to talk to them about prices they dont answer kind of annoying to be honest Ive waited all day and all day it will not answer me
Had never been there before, so I decided to go and check it out. Lots of surplus gear at pretty decent prices. The young girls behind the counter were very helpful and friendly. My only advice is that they should probably try to work on their product knowledge a little.
This place is freaking awesome! I wish I had taken more pics to contribute more, I may stop in again very soon and specifically ask to do a good albums worth of photos for the crowds to see how enormous and packed wall to wall to wall, bunker floor to the sky, out the doors and in every crevasse of this massive place, must see.!!!!
This place has a really cool nostalgia aspect and the prices can be fair for the most part. Ive come here to buy and trade a few items over time and can say that Ive had a pretty good experience. However, over the past few months there must have been some sort of change of management or something cause trade in value is ridiculously low. Certain items have been on the shelf for the longest time for about the same price as you would find a new item online from the manufacturer or more. Its supposed to be a surplus store not a brand store. And then when you ask the girls upfront (who are always very kind) to see if you can trade items, they contact the manager with pictures and descriptions of what is brought in by the customer. The manager then proceeds to low-ball you a utterly low price thats not even worth it. I come here to try to support a local business and military friendly store and instead get cheaped out on items and charged way more that what I should be paying for. Ive seen a good amount of veterans and people come in to donate stuff to the store, so you would think management would try to make things affordable for those who shop here but instead they cheap out, lowball and almost make you feel disgusted, as if the items one brings in arent good enough.
Worked here for a few months , Great Position. The atmosphere is amazing , old vintage feel. Employees are all nice , caring , and great to work with! Manager is a great manager that really cares about you. Owners are super nice and helpful with anything you need. Great job! Store is clean , organized, and full of selection of great quality items! Super friendly!Like most surplus stores, the selection is hit or miss. In spite of this, theres still a wide variety of supplies, ranging from MREs to uniforms to medical and equipment.Discounts for retirees, active duty, DoD contractors, EMS, fire, police, and Google reviewers.Nevermind the place being a little cramped - its worth the trip.
Great, family owned store. Good prices. Been going here to buy, trade, & sell stuff for years. You know theyre doing things right if you see how much the store has grown. Lots of cool & unique surplus here. Definitely check them out. They also post a lot of bigger items on their eBay store.
Does not accept returns. Never took tag off, never taken off the hanger, was within 24hrs and had receipt with nothing stating no returns. No visible signs stating no returns. Sales associate wasnt sure and finally found the sign burried under merchandise. They aslo text manager but never received a response.If i would have known that i would be stuck with a vest and out 80 bucks. I should have taken pictures but didnt think about it since there were no visible signs or even told that all sales are final. Also its a fairly large store so i figured otherwise.

Just got finished buying a few essentials at Armed Forces Supply. Angel was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. This store is PACKED with lots of cool items and military surplus and Angel knew where to find what we were looking for. My daughter and I really enjoyed exploring the store!
I went in this evening for dress greens for my dads funeral. The gentleman were very nice and assisted me with finding the right size. They were very kind and offered their condolences when I started crying. The prices were a lot less than I expected as well.

Second thing i was talking about the mre you posted on your Facebook and other stuff you sold that i tryed going back to get after i had talked to one of your employees about it and told me she would keep it same price after i saw her at the gun show. I went back that monday and prices had changed. But its ok you loss my business for good after seening this lie you posted about me.
This store is the best military surplus store I have ever been in!! They have everything!! I been to all the stores here in town and non of them even come close to Armed Forces Supply! I would like to thank David and Noelle for all they do on Facebook, Tiktok and instagram lives I watch all of them! they rock it!! Also many thanks to all the employees great crew and very helpful. This is a cool place to find anything military related. Sorry I dont know much about this stuff but I saw some helicopter joysticks, old military radios, and a bunch of MREs. I ALWAYS stop here before heading out to camp to stock up on MREs. They have the best prices in Texas.The staff was very helpful
I am a 20 year old man and I can say, this is the god dang LEGO store for a adult male who is not a beta, they have everything from mre to freakin swords!!! SWORDS!!! They have some cool books and plenty of bags and even plate carriers! I highly recommend this place the prices are just right and the customer service is amazing, just don’t steal lol, they have a wall of shame and it would be a shame to see you on that wall.

I was coming all the way from the other side of town during rush hour and I called asking if they could stay open 5 to 10 minutes later because of where I was coming from. The guy I spoke with, Kyle was super understanding and allowed me to show up a few minutes past their closing. He knew exactly what I was looking for when I called earlier and was able to direct me in the right direction of their caps section where I was looking for a USMC cap for my Dad for Christmas. Kyle was super knowledgeable & after I asked his opinion, he shared with me his thoughts and helped me make the best decision! If I had more time, I probably wouldve shopped some more! They had a huge selection on caps and great deals. Im definitely keeping this place in mind when I need some awesome military gear in the future. Thanks again & Happy Holidays!!!!
Very helpful people! they have the stuff you cant find anywhere else.hard to find items. Great place to get the supplies you need to be prepared for most situations. I love this place because they are always getting new inventory. If you have not been lately come check out their new stuff. I like the smoke bombs!

Great place, and active duty and vets get a discount. You can find alot of stuff you cant anywhere else. Great customer service and try not to go with too much money or else youll be like a (grown up) kid in a candy store.
Went in to store on Sat Dec 7th when passing through town to purchase MRE’s very impressive store and great staff who helped out with everything. Store is very well stocked with everything you can imagine with good prices. Will definitely be going back to visit Also was given military discount even though I am ex Royal Australian Navy served from 1986-1996. Thanks for a great experience and I highly recommend the store

We got there at the last minute, about 10 minutes before closing. Michelle never rushed us, went out into the cold so we could look at some of the storage boxes.... overall, a great experience. We’d definitely go back again!

The store has a amazing collection of surplus and all seemed to be quality. My biggest disappointment was that I watched several customers be greeted at the check out with are you in the military or a veteran? Of course everyone said yes to receive the discount price. As I checked out I was just asked if I was paying cash or credit. This was from a kid who couldnt have even been old enough to have served. Before paying I asked did you apply the military discount. He looked me in the face and asked me well did you serve? I had to politely explain to him that yes I did and that I could also identify even military badge, rank and unit patch in the wall behind him.It was very offensive and disappointing that I was questioned while no one else in the store seemed to be doubted. My only thought is, in the store where the only color that matters is green, it still seems that black is not welcomed. I wonder how his parents raised him while making money off surplus that ever race has shed blood for...... America the land of the free and the home of the still hidden racism.
The cashier was helpful with questions and finding items. I found a training aid for about $50 cheaper than I usually pay. She found me another one I missed! Definitely must see. Go check them out!
This place is awesome! Tons of stuff, completely blows all the other surplus stores in the San Antonio area out of the water! Best prices, they dont charge brand new prices for worn out gear like the competition does. Great staff! They even ask if your military or veteran to give you the discount! Bought some stuff didn’t come complete.Bought some smoke grandes and they were outdated and did not work as well.Got harassed by the store owner for putting my honest opinion to the public. Instead of putting a fake for a 15%off anything, witch they didn’t even discounted when I bought things. I made sure of that because I sent my girlfriend to buy the same things and it was the same dam price.Plenty of people have put 5 stars, just for the discount so a lot didn’t really get to express there honest opinion maybe didn’t even know they can write reviews

A great military surplus store that is getting even better! The best shop of kind in San Antonio and surrounding area (I know, Ive visited most of them!). Definitely worth a visit! The staff are the friendliest, most helpful people you could ever meet!By the way, there are several fake reviews of this place here, you can easily spot them as they are the ONLY negative reviews this shop gets! The owner (David) has reached out to them for more information but I am sure he never gets a reply as there is nothing to substantiate their claims.Dont believe their BS, Armed Forces Supply is easily the greatest military surplus store around!
Amazing selection! This is the best surplus store in S.A.! They have items ranging from control columns pulled out of airplanes to gask masks, survival supplies and of course uniforms. The best part is %95 of their selection is actual military surplus!!! Unlike most other surplus stores that just sell reproductions and cheap imported equipment. Overall 10/10 would highly reccomend Armed Forces Supply!

Love this place I come here to get stuff for airsoft and they have a lot of things to get for very adorable prices so much that found myself comeing frequent but my only complaint is that they don’t have like milsim helmets I saw one but it was broken but other then it’s a great store and I will continue to go here

Selection is wide so youre almost guaranteed to find something that youre looking for at a fair price. The staff is very honest and friendly, so much so that I dont even bother going to other military surplus stores for buying or selling items anymore.

This seems to be San Antonios decent and properly priced surplus store. That and they actually have surplus, no junk from truspec, voodoo, and proper. They have damn near all the TA50 youre gonna need.

2022-07-30The little girl behind the counter will not honor posted prices. I informed here the posted price for some used boots and she argued that I was wrong and her coworker was wrong. I took the boots back to the shelf and triple checked. I told her it was posted and she said “oh, they must have changed it”. The only thing changed was my mind.**post reply**I’ve already trained your cashier, I’m not going to train you, too.

2022-08-03For this place to be a warehouse its very small and crammed with a lot of stuff. The AC was not functioning in the back so it was very hot inside. The clothes run small to medium, nothing for plus size people. The cashiers (ladies) seemed a cold and unfriendly. However, the only positive thing I will say is there was a young man in the back who went above and beyond to help me find some camouflage pants in my size.

2022-07-01I travel to San Antonio every six months on business. I found this place on TikTok “afsurplus.com” it’s 100% legit military surplus store I ever been in! I’m talking military vehicle parts, medical equipment, tactical and camping gear mass qualities! The only negative side of my visit was the young girl behind the counter she had zero customer service experience, she had a extremely bad attitude! Short back haired girl and appeared she forgot to get dressed for work look like she was wearing pajamas. But the store was top notch! I will be back

2022-03-25This is a great place for really anything military surplus. I’ve come here a couple time before and have always felt satisfied when I leave. I’ve gotten Cold War gear from there and it’s pretty epic. Would recommend if you’re into military stuff.

2022-04-22When entering no one asked if I needed help when I asked about a product on the top shelf they said there should be some laying around somewhere and everything was extremely over priced. Im sure cif has better deals on gear then this place.

2021-12-13Well stocked, mostly Army. Jackets, back packs, cots, and all sorts of equipment. Good place to buy all the goodies you want. Staff is friendly and ready to help. This is a five star shop. Lots more things than I can mention, just ask.

2021-09-02My family discovered this place recently. We have spent hours in there. There is more selection and variety than Ive ever seen. My brother in law is in the army, and he said its the best surplus store hes ever seen. Highly recommend this place!
