No pressure to buy, no following us around the store, just a simple and friendly introduction and we were free to roam the store. Staff was available for questions when we were ready. Purchasing was a breeze and prices for the furniture we were interested in and matched to the online price, plus discount codes and additional savings to make the in-store price even lower. They even made the free delivery date specific to what we requested.
I have no idea what is wrong with the people that work in this store. We came by years ago and the saleswoman would not leave us alone and bombarded my husband when I used the restroom. I literally just mentioned it before we walked in.We walk in and the guy asks us what we are in for, we are just looking, anything in particular? No, just looking. Walk around a bit then the guy comes back and asks if we have questions. We werent even half way through the store, husband responds no we are good we will let you know.OF COURSE i went into the restroom and a new, different guy approaches my husband and he says that we are good not to worry about it. The guy responds back, dont worry about it?. Then walks off, husband overhears him talking about him, mocking him with other sales people.He asks him if theres a problem and the salesman says how am I supposed to help you if you dont tell me what youre looking for? Husband says I dont need to tell you what Im looking for I was just looking. At this point the sales dude starts approaching us. Hes arguing saying he cant help us if we dont talk to him. WE DIDNT NEED TO BE APPROACHED THREE TIMES IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES.the salesman will not stop talking trying to provoke? I told him to stop talking which apparently offended him, he scoffed and tried to keep talking. I said STOP. and we left.Maybe its in Ashley Furnitures policy to harass customers until they wear them down and they buy something. Either way it was a huge mistake going back there. Ill be ordering from a competitor. Thanks.
I when and I bought a queen size sleeper and a dinning room set,!I did get a text message giving me 3 days to pick a day out of 3, so I did, it also said I will get a call if anything changes. I call the day before and I was told it was a mistake, I ck on the web and it was completely out of stock so it couldn’t be even delivered on that month. I had to wait 3 to 4 months. They sale out of lies. Very bad issue I only cancel the sofa now everything is cancel. I call and nobody will even talk to me. I was told I will get a call because of protocol this never happened. Store gave me a bad bad service when I when in to cancel. You guys really need a wake-up call. Customer service always wins, you guys don’t have it ! I will say very pretty stuff in the store ! Very nice selection only if they could keep delivery days ! And don’t lie
I simply cannot express how disappointing the entire experience with Ashley was. From the moment I entered the store, I sensed something was off. I should have run, and you should too.This has been, by far, the most frustrating, inexcusably poor, awful experience I’ve ever had as a consumer. In my entire life.Not once, not twice, but three times I was told my furniture was being delivered on certain dates. I even received a text message alerting me when my delivery was
Stopped in today and worked with James who showed us some dinning room tables. It was the most comfortable and easy furniture shopping experience we’ve ever had, even with our 20 month old son in tow. Extremely knowledgable and asked all the right questions from beginning to end to help guide us into making the right decision. James even went above and beyond to help us figure out paint colors for the dinning room to match with the set too.
Customers, heads up! We ordered and fully paid for a bedroom set in January and are still waiting - it’s mid May. No communication or updates. Manager, Dustin, is agreeable and nice, accepts all responsibility, but no follow-through with his word. Very disappointed with this experience - the integrity of the brand and store is highly questionable.
If you want to speak to one of the rudest, pushiest salespeople I have encountered in a long time, James is your guy!James spent most of his time with us telling us how good at his job he was. He seemed offended when we weren’t crazy about his suggestions and didn’t want to look at the online catalog, and he promptly left and told us to have a good day. We continued looking around (still thinking about buying some furniture), and he came back wanting to show us another piece. I tried to explain why we did not want to purchase from the online catalog since he’d left so abruptly, and he cut me off and would not let me speak. At that point, I told him we were going to leave, and he responded with, “Yes, I think you should. I think that would be best.”The whole experience was very bizarre, and we definitely won’t be buying the furniture we need from here.
Bought my headboard and bed frame not to long ago. Only had a few months before it had broken apart. I understand things happen. However, when ordering a replacement for it they sent wrong headboard back in December . I was patient to wait and was told one would be sent out again in early February. I called today to confirm and someone canceled my replacement with no explanation. They said I have to wait until June now. No one can tell me why my ticket was canceled. No one is helpful enough to offer solutions.
I will never buy furniture from Ashley again. We purchased/paid for a bedroom set back on 9/26/21 and was told a delivery would happen by 12/29/21. It has been delayed and delayed, with only me finding out about each new delay because I have to call every few weeks to get an automated message. I am now being told by Ashley that they have no guarantee of when it will be available (on one of the occasions that I spoke with a customer service rep, he told me we cant guarantee anything, it doesnt work like that.) The new date they are giving me is April 28th. Every month that I call, there is a new arrival date for another 8-9 weeks later. I have called 3 times and asked to speak to a supervisor. The reps have all said that one will call me back in 24 hours but they never did. This has been the most terrible customer service ever. Its a sham to show/display a furniture set for sale and not tell the customer the real truth that you may not receive your furniture for at least 6 months or longer...or ever. How can you even have it on display?? I cant even reach through to the actual store that we purchased from.
While the experience in the store was fine, things went wrong when we decided to buy the manager’s special sectional. First, our salesperson had trouble putting the order in the system, and put that we would get the couch in “2-12 weeks” (what?!). Payment went through but could not print, at least we got emailed invoice (though put in phone number 3 times, it never actually saved to our order). From there it just got worse…feeling uncomfortable about the purchase process, partner called customer service to check on it next day. Told that some pieces were out of stock and we’d have to go back to the store to get a refund. Excuse me?!? I tried calling next day: first rep seemed untrained, long silence, then without asking put me on mute for over 10 minutes. When I tried to call back, hold time was 30 minutes, then just 1+ minute of silence. Partner tried again, this time getting a guy who said we would get a refund back on her card only (when we had split the payment). Could not provide any sort of verification. Called the next day, finally had to escalate it, and finally at least got an email confirmation that order was canceled. One week later the refund is pending on both our cards. After speaking to multiple customer service reps this month, Ashley is easily the worst. It is obvious that whatever they are doing is not working, so I can assume they are not interested in taking care of their employees enough to have good ones interested in working for them.
The store was amazing when you walked through the store, and their employees are nice and helpful. The one who helped us, his name is James, and we got helped with our purchase, he was great to talk to and real knowledgeable about the products and the store pricing. Definitely want to work with him more for our other purchases we will do in a few months.
If I could give a zero I would. I bought a couch for my son in November. He received only part of it in January. They attempted another 2 times to deliver “something” and it was always only the same part of the couch. No one will help. When he has called customer service they tell him to call the store. When he calls the store they tell him to call customer service. And they continue to tell us we will get no refund, but yet he still only has half of a couch with nothing pending. It’s been an absolute joke of an experience and we just want our money back. You can have the half of couch back. Just ridiculous. I would never recommend them.
Amazing experience! We had found a couch on the website but still wanted to check our options, James Clark was very helpful in showing us all our options and was very polite, funny and sweet! He was great with our kids which made the shopping process much easier and not stressful!
Plain and simple: ordered a desk. Desk they shipped does not have the instructions in the box. The box also does not have all the pieces to put the desk together (pegs, screws, peg clamps, S shaped 2 sided screw driver, etc) Called customer service to at least send the missing parts which have still not been sent. Customer care tell us to talk with the local store we bought it from to get to a resolution on a refund but local store takes a week to have the manager get back to us just to say call customer care. (Steve at Ashley Furniture was not helpful whatsoever) Not sure if anyone there on either end is willing to own up to this issues in some fashion. Talking with customer care today and they don’t even know who to get us to to help figure out when or even if we are getting these additional parts anytime soon. In all honesty this customer service is terrible and my desk still sits in a corner unassembled.
Never buy furniture from Ashley HomeStore. They’ll deliver damaged garbage and then refuse to refund you because it’s “usable”. If the standard is “usable”, I would have picked up a bed off the side of the road. They also said if I wanted a refund, I’d have to load this fully built bed into a truck, drive it 30 miles to the nearest Goodwill, and send them a receipt for proof of donation before they would issue me a refund. They won’t pay for a truck rental or gas, but they’ll gladly tell you how easy it is to “just donate it”. Absolute fraudsters. STAY FAR AWAY.
The worst choice ever to go to Ashley and purchase my furniture.. the store over charged the price of the furniture when the company website was offering the same furniture for a lower price . They also double charged the protection plan. I waited for hours trying to speak to customer service and finally gave up. Would never go back to Ashley or recommend to any one to go to their store.Edit---The rude reply from the business owner shows the attitude of this company towards the customer. This review is about Ashley cheating me by over charging the product and not my affordability. Do not cheat customers and exploit their trust in you when they walk in to your store.
I had a very pushy salesman. He would not take no for an answer. I told him my budget and he very rudely asked why I’d come up with that number. I told him that was all I had and he repeatedly told me to spend 4,000 over my budget and to just finance it. I told him to stop and he refused to stop pushing me. He told me I was not listening to him and that he was trying to transition me into a good bed. I told him I was done speaking with him and I tried to walk away but he kept stopping me and asking why I was so upset. After I was able to walk away from him to get another salesman he found me and asked if he could finish up my order. I very sternly told him no and that I wanted nothing to do with him. I have never been accosted that way before. This man was very rude and pushy. Another kid salesman did make it right but I will NEVER go back to Ashley Furniture again!
Really so stressful with this store. They’re nice when you’re new customers. Really very poor customer services after-sales. First time, they delivered for me a power reclining sofa but it tore a hole & couldn’t recline. I’ve waited for the second delivery with the sofa & the sofa table. I don’t understand why the delivery team called to my work & keep text to them.They added me in group chat but just text to my work makes my boss called me to ask about it. When they came to my place, the delivery team asked me to see that everything was damaged on the truck. The table was scratched on the top & the sofa was broken. And he told me to keep reschedule another day. Then I went to the store to talk about this. But they seem to turn back with this. I had to wait for a long time sitting over there. I just want to cancel the table, so it doesn’t deserve time & my money. And not difficult to shop it somewhere else even cheaper. Save your money! This is my lesson. I didn’t care about bad reviews until I had experiences enough here.
We were sold a dining set and dresser during their President’s day sale. I shared I was hesitant to buy because their website said 3-5 mo delay. I was told my order would be fulfilled in 3 weeks because they have access to a different inventory than the website, or they get priority. I did not receive a receipt because of a “printer malfunction” and after trying to call multiple times during the week/leaving voicemails with no answer, I had to go in store for this (customer service wasn’t even able to provide). When I did this, I was told my order wouldn’t arrive until July, vastly different from the 3 weeks I was originally quoted. After three weeks of trying to reach our salesman and emailing the manager Dustin, per his instructions, with no response, we decided to go in to figure out what was going on. Dustin was nowhere to be found by his staff, we heard several salesman looking for him with no answer. We decided to cancel our order on the spot. Also, you will not be able to reach the store via the phone number listed on Google. Your only recourse is going in to the store and speaking to someone in person. Terribly disappointed because we still want the products, but would rather drive further to north Austin or even San Marcos before dealing with the horrible staff here again.
Felt no pressure while shopping for a living room set. Troy (sales associate) gave us our space and time to make our decisions and answered any questions we had. Mike(store manager) also made us feel very comfortable while shopping and gave us a good deal. Thanks Troy and Mike. I would definitely recommend Ashley Furniture in South Park Meadows
I have had an absolutely terrible experience working with Ashely Furniture. I have had several pieces on backorder for over a year at this point, and they have made multiple commitments to shipping or delivering the furniture, only to no-show. I have left dozens of voicemails with sales reps and at the store and have NEVER received a return call--I have been forced to drive 40+ miles to go into the store to get my questions answered on 5 occasions. Clearly they do not take care of their employees either, as three different sales reps I was assigned to have quit over the last year. I will be cancelling my order and strongly encourage anyone who reads this to avoid this company.
Dishonest, sleazy, inept. We purchased $4k worth of furniture on Jan 1 after being told to expect a delivery date of Feb 15. February went by with no word so I called their customer service line. There I was told it wouldnt be ready for 18 weeks since that day (3/1). I called the store, I was told March 15th. They told me everything was in except one item and they they couldnt do separate deliveries. 3/15 comes by, I get told 4/10. 4/15 comes, I go to the store and I get told 4/30. Now, it is 4/28 and I call the delivery customer service. Now, they are saying NO ITEMS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED AND THEY HOPE TO HAVE THEM IN BY JUNE. I wasnt upset by the first delay. The second I was frustrating cause of the deliveries. If you miss your first commitment and have already charged me, make up for it and deliver the items Ive already paid you for! Then they miss another delivery date. Now, four months later, they tell me everything that I had been told was wrong and to wait even longer. We have no place to sit. They took our money that we wouldve spent elsewhere and lied to our face for four months, all the time we have eaten every meal standing up! Theyre still not done lying to me. NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.
I have NEVER EVER witnessed this much dishonesty from any business. Every single person I talked to lied and made fake promises about every tiny thing. Jonathan Anderson sold us a dining table set on Jan 8 and told us it will be delivered 1st week of March or sooner. It was delayed again and again till the end of May. In May we rejected 1st delivery because a part was missing. During 2nd try the same part was missing. We were again lied and told accept the delivery and we will make sure the missing part is delivered and assembled the next day by 3 different individuals. I called the day of and was told the order was complete and nothing was scheduled to be delivered. After waiting 3 hours on phone, I have the delivery scheduled to deliver the missing part for the 3rd time. Now i have a hug pile of unassembled furniture sitting in my house and my house looks like storage. Also, I was just now informed Ashley doesnt do returns. Ashley furniture, you are not the no.1 furniture store. Your employees that are representing you are all (every single one I talked to) liars. Extremely frustrated and disappointed. Customers deserve honesty and transparency.Update: I messaged the number that same day I received response from owner but no response. We have called Ashley over 10 times after this post, still waiting for this issue to resolved.
I am new to the area and do not like to drive in Austin so I called in today and a nice gentleman by the name of Mike Cardenas did what he had to do to get me the couch I was wanting. I didn’t have to make the drive I was dreading and my couch is officially on order. He was patient and kind. He was also honest and upfront. Ask for Mike!
We placed an order in this store for a tempur pedic mattress, bed frame and couches on 7/03 we were told by the sales person and store manager that all items would be delivered to our home within the same week or 2 weeks at most. Since we were in urgent need of furniture we decided to go through with purchase trusting the information given by the store manager and sales person. It has now been more than a month and we have not received any of our furniture. Ashley’s tried to deliver incorrect couches to our home, we’ve been trying to cancel or at least correct the orders by calling customer service, calling and texting the sales person that helped us and going into the store but we have not been able to resolve any issues and we still don’t know if or when we will be receiving the furniture we ordered. We have attempted to get help every way possible but we have not been able to obtain sort of answers or help. Very frustrating experience. Terrible service and management I will definitely never be purchasing from this store.
Poor customer service when their sales system went down mid transaction. I called for 2 days and no one even tried to reach out to me and no one would pick up at the local numbers. This store has not been busy during this summer season. The store manager lacked sincerity and was rude withe suggestion that I could just come back after my money was returned first instead of offering to process the order then. I came back and cancelled the order and told the store manager who never offered to introduce himself that his customer service was awful and I could tell he didn’t care and he refunded and have a poor example of even trying to care. I have shopped back in 2013 at the South Austin location, I will not waste my time for future visits. I didn’t realize when Covid died down so did customer service and being nice. Not worth the visit to Southpark Meadows location in Austin, TX. Shop online folks or somewhere else!
The staff in the store were great to deal with….but!We were told the majority of the furniture would be delivered early June, with the dresser being delivered in Nov.Our daughter was moving into the house on June 22 from the PNW.We were given numerous dates for delivery while our kids lived on a mattress on the floor, plastic chairs and standing around to eat.Finally, we got confirmation on delivery…..but no, only the dresser that was suppose to be delivered in Nov.Still, no table, couch, loveseat, no dining chairs, bed set, chair, etc., which were the items set to be delivered in early June.Finally, July 14 the delivery was made.Our family, who has shopped with Ashley’s for years are done with them.I understand the difficulties with delivering a product in today’s game, but don’t tell us one thing without being sure.Ended up at Rooms To Go since this started and they delivered everything on time.
Here to leave yet another review since my previous reviews keep getting deleted. Classic Ashley behavior. Ordered a bedroom set + couch on 12/18/21 and was PROMISED a 6 week turn around time. We purchased a couch from them before that took TEN MONTHS to arrive. I went against my better judgment to use them again, I should have known better. NEVER AGAIN!!!! These guys will tell you anything to get your money and then make it damn near impossible to get anyone on the phone for any sort of update. We are 4 months and counting with no sort of update except “another 7-9 weeks”. BUYER BEWARE. Read the reviews…. Nothing but fake 5 star reviews and horrible horror stories of people being treated the same. It’s not worth your time and this place is most definitely not worth spending your hard working money at. Run far far away.
Purchased a couch and table from here only to have them not show up on the day of delivery and no word from them (this was already a delayed date). It was apparently delayed and know one knows why. After a day of calls that never got returned we tried to cancel are order only to be offered a $200 refund on a $2000 purchase, what kind of deceitful scam is this, the loan company agreed to to cancel our loan after talking to them, but Ashley wouldnt. We eventually after going back to the store decided to keep our purchase but when stuff finally was delivered the table was broken so we have to wait 2 weeks for them to order another one. Also the response to this review with an email and phone number to contact was bogus, we tried both and neither ever got back to us...
I ordered a table and chairs October 6th, 2021. It’s almost May I still do not have have the table. They canceled my table because the financing hold with TD was dropped off. I reordered the table at the end of March and I was told that the manager would contact me. No one has ever contacted to give me any updates on the table. It’s been 7 months i still don’t have a table. This is extremely poor customer service. I will never order furniture from Ashely’s again. It would be nice to have my table so I can de done with Ashley’s! If they tell you it would be a few weeks I would go elsewhere. My experience has been horrible!
I cannot give a review of the products considering the fact we entered the South Park Meadows Austin Texas store today, March 15, 2022 around 11:00a.m. without a greet or how may I help you. I say this because when leaving the store, after circling through, the ladies in front of us were asked if they could be helped, they said they were looking for the gentleman who greeted them and showed them around the store. We left the store without a hello, may I help you or goodbye.Sale missed. I went home and ordered my new dining room set etc. from another company.My money was too BLACK to spend in your store.
Ashley had a wide selection of furniture and accessories such as lighting and wall decor. Kylle helped guide me through the selection process and gave me a thorough understanding of what configuration and pricing options were available. I’ll definitely be back for more purchases in the future!
Advise anyone who is reading this comment right now, to just respectfully not consider buying their furniture of any kind from Ashley’s Furniture.This is rediculous they have made us wait five months just to give us half our furniture. And after making us wait another two months, they bring in the wrong piece, the guys who bring it are supper rude and didn’t even bother putting it in place correctly or locking the parts together, neither did they install it to the wall.The costumer service “promised” to bring us a whole new set of the chairs just because after all that they have put us through they wont be able to get the chairs back, if so , they take 10% of it-which is totally hilarious having the fact that the mistakes were on their side and all we had to do was to wait a totall of seven months for BROKEN furniture. When they finally bring the “new” set of furniture we see that it is broken. Despite it being broken, hilariously, the colors don’t match!!! It is a totally different set of sofas that they have brought in twice in a span of two months and even when we told them and they brought the new batch of set, IT IS STILL DIFFERENT. I have four months left untill my lease, and the other seven months they have failed to bring in a simple set of furniture!I am not going to even start talking about the costumer service. Tom the “supervisor “ is not any help. They are not in position to take 10% of the money we haven’t even payed because they brought the wrong and broken pieces, and giving false promises and still forgetting to bring it!! I can name the amount of times they have “promised” us a date where they’re going to send the “new” set of furniture, and they have simply forgotten to sent it. It is just so funny to me how rude and unorganized these whole crew is. So not in sync, and after we tell them what’s wrong they still don’t take the blame.Now people who are reading this comment, tell me, would you want to go through all of this headache. Doesnt even deserve the one star I had to give them. We purchased a dining room set and a bedroom set a year ago with the promise to hold it in the warehouse until our house was done being built. Once all the pieces were in stock and ready to be delivered, we set up a delivery date. They showed up with the dining room set, one nightstand and the mirror that belongs on the dresser. The delivery folks said that the rest of our bedroom set was damaged, so we went to the store to find out when we were going to get the rest of the bedroom furniture delivered. They said it was discontinued and they wouldnt help us with a refund, kept saying we had to call customer service. They were mean and very unhelpful and acted like it was our problem. We called customer service several times over the next few days and either couldnt get anyone and sat on hold forever or we would get someone and after explaining our situation they would put us back on hold and never come back on the line. Went back to the store to talk to the manager and he said he would get back to us on Tuesday and never did. Worst furniture company ever with unhelpful people working at their stores. I finally got someone in customer service today and she tried to help, but it showed on her end all our furniture was delivered!! What a joke. All we want is our money back for the bedroom furniture and to have the nightstand and mirror picked up since obviously we cant use it since we have no bedroom set! They have made this so hard and we still havent gotten it resolved a week later.
**BUYER BEWARE**This is the worst buying experience I have had in a loonngggg time (maybe ever)...and I am a very patient person.It is going on a month and I am now being told that my furniture will not be delivered for another 2 weeks....lie after lie...after lie...If they were at least honest, that would be different...Trying to get my money back now and go some where else.Consider this a fair warning!!
I had the worst experience ever. I ordered a coffee table on 11/30/21. On 02/01/22 I called and they said it would be 10 to 12 weeks before I received it. I waited, called back in May same thing. NEVER ONCE did I get a phone call about anything. I finally decided to go to the store (South Park Meadows Austin Tx.)and talk to someone. The sales person told me it was discontinued. I asked to speak to the Store Manager. She didn’t come out she told the sales guy to tell me to pick another table or I had to buy the end tables that go with it. I couldn’t have the floor model. I asked him why I had to buy the end tables because I didn’t have to buy them when I bought and paid for the coffee table. He said the person that sold them to me made a mistake. I said that was not my fault. He said that guy was going to get fired. Wow. I told the last manager that Ashley Homestore did not live up to their motto. He flat out said “No they do not”. I could not believe he said that. He did apologize to me. Their motto does not mean a thing to me. My family and I will never shop there again and I will tell people what happened to me. I don’t understand why I just couldn’t get the floor model.Come on it’s “DISCONTINUED”. I know my review won’t mean a thing. Just be aware. Wow changing my review was told the couch I wanted was in stock last week. Now after I paid basically 2k they say the dont have the couch in stock nor an eta. Thing is I work in logistics they more than likely never had the item in stock they were just saying that to sell the couch.
I NEVER leave bad reviews. You guys are absolutely awful! Can not get through to anyone. I’ve been waiting on my furniture since November. I finally get it scheduled to be delivered today- now it’s not coming? Excuse after excuse. You guys are awful! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!
DO NOT SHOP HERE: I went in to purchase furniture from Ashley’s Furniture, the Southpark Meadows location on 05/22/2021. The furniture was delivered to my place on 06/03/2021. During the first delivery, it was noticed that the items were damaged. Photos were sent in and I contacted customer care and agreed to a 2nd replacement delivery. The distribution team informed me that they would pick up the furniture from the first delivery when bringing the replacement items. The replacement items were attempted for delivery on 06/10/2021, those items were also damaged and I declined the order again. The replacement items were taken back but the damaged items from the first delivery is still sitting inside my home. I was informed to contact customer care to set up another order for the distribution team to come back out to pick up the initial items. More photos were sent in and I contacted customer service and the store manager requesting a full cancelation. A ticket was submitted to the store manager, Anthony, on my behalf. I was then denied cancelation and a refund over the phone until going into the store personally to speak to the manger. He then approved the cancelation of everything except the mattress. I was told that since the “boxed” mattress was already in my home that they could not accept it back. Again, the items are only in my home because the distribution team did not take them back during the initial drop off. The store manger then submitted an order for the distribution team to come out and pick up the canceled items on 06/22/2021. The distribution team did not show. Customer care could not provide a reason on why they didn’t show but another order for pick up was placed for pick up on 07/01/2021. The team did not show on that date either. Customer care submitted a ticket to the distribution center on my behalf and informed me that they were not aware on why the distribution personnel did not pick up the cancelled items. I also contact the store manager Anthony and he blamed it on possibly forgetting to select “white-glove” under the order. Another order was placed for pick up on 7/10/2021. The distribution personnel called me when they were 30 minutes out. I provide them with my gate code and building number but they never showed. The following day I called the store manager to inform him of the ongoing issue for the 3rd time. He stated that he was not sure why this keeps happening but was unable to contact the distribution center manager until Monday, 07/12/2021. He informed me that he would call me the next morning. I never got a call. I received an email the following afternoon of a new order number for pick up. The customer care team stated that the notes listed that I refused the pick up which is not true. I am being told that the charges will not be disputed or canceled by the financing company until the items are returned even though they are only in my home because they have failed to pick them up three times.
The store experience is great. The staff is always very helpful and friendly.The website experience is a disaster and completely broken. Changes to information you enter, changing holds on your credit card that overlap causing double holds for days. Automatically canceled three orders saying fraud suspected. Tells you to contact your credit card company, when you do the company has no idea why? Theres no problem with the cards. Completely useless online customer support 😒
If I could go lower I would. Weve been dealing with an issue with a bed we purchased. The wrong bed was delivered and no one will help us in resolving this issue. The worst of it is from the service we received from ERIC ZAVALA. He could not have been more uninterested and disrespectful if he tried. We were reasonably annoyed with the situation at hand but as we waited for manager on duty; a young Caucasian man helped us as much as he could. He was very understanding and genuinely tried to assist. While Eric Zavala, the manager on dutytook his sweet time to come out. When he did, he sat as far away from us as possible and proceeded to chat with fellow employees instead of attending to us. It wasnt until we approached him that he actually began to type things on his computer. As I lost connection with the customer service rep on the line he proceeded to tell us to call again because there was nothing he could do. As he continued to talk, he began to develop an attitude and respond with sass. I told him not to speak to me in that way but he kept on speaking to us in a demeaning way. Yes I lost my composure when he physically walked away and refused to do anything to help is. I cussed him out for the disrespectful way he spoke to us and the genuine disinterest. He should be fired for his lack of customer service and gross negligence. Needless to say we will have to resolve this issue through different means since this is what they higher as management. ERIC ZAVALA was an absolute abhorrent person and my one warning is to not shop here. Ive never had issues at Rooms-to-go. It was a mistake shopping here. I hope you read this Eric Zavala.
We ordered last October 2021 and finally got our order on July of 2022. Then on delivery we found damage to the coffee table and one end table. An order was made to replace them. One month later the replacements were delivered but both items were also damaged. I think the furniture was imported from somewhere. We need some kind of compensation for this nightmare.
Ashleys is horrible!!!! DO NOT buy from them!!!! They delivered a damaged dresser and keep hanging up on me and don’t return my calls or emails to replace the item or give me a refund. I got video of the delivery drivers saying the dresser was damaged and one saying nah it’s alright. Then he took a pen and tried to fill in the chunks of missing wood. This place is HORRIBLE!!!
Is it logical, to wait for 7 month , and whenever we contact them, they postpone the items (bedroom furniture) for two and three months, while they told us the first time we bought the items for a maximum of 4 months, they dealt perfectly and then they lie to you , (Just be honest)
I see the owner has removed my negative experience review which says a lot about this company. In short, please be aware. The company has zero ethical values and seem to train the sales people on how to lie to make a sale. I would have given it negative star if this was allowed. #dishonest
One of the worst customer service experience Ive ever had.The sales person lied to me about the shipping process.We told the sales person that the wait time was 3-6 mns on the Ashley website & we weren’t interested in waiting that long.His exact words to us was “oh our stock doesn’t come out of the same warehouse.Our stock comes from Dallas so you’ll get your furniture sooner.” He reassured us that it was only a 2-3 month wait, so we moved forward.The honest truth was that he really couldn’t guarantee 2-3 months & if our salesman was honest,he would’ve lost the sale.Well you lost the sale anyway & I WILL NEVER do business w/ Ashley furniture again.After 3 mnths of waiting- I began calling to cancel the order.You cannot get ANYONE on the phone & after multiple attempts,only to be passed around or to be put on HOLD.I decided to wait for Ashley to contact me for delivery.They reached out via text& I was able to speak to someone.The gentleman began the process then tells me- they want to try & ‘save’ the sell.They were willing to offer a discount if I keep the furniture & I told him point blank unless they were offering 50% off - I wasn’t going to keep it.(Which,they couldn’t.)Ok cool, its no skin off my back since y’all can’t manage your inventory & you allow your employees to lie to customers.Once the guy took me of hold- he said my order was canceled but couldn’t give me a confirmation number or provide any proof that my request was completed.I would have to wait until it’s processed or I would have to call back to check.So I’m having to take their word it’s canceled? “Yep” That’s unacceptable.So now I’m stuck in a situation that I cannot be freed from until someone somewhere magically processed my cancellation.I want it done now!And I will go all the way to Todd R. Wanek or his son Ronald to get this situation taken care of.
What is the purpose of a White Glove Service if the delivery guys are in such a rush, super upset with the customer service at this store, Sales person J.M advised and promised me that the Accent Chairs I was purchasing were going to be assembled🤥🤥🤥 liarrrr! The delivery guys who seem to be in such a rush told me that they couldnt assemble these chair due to some policy or Liability. Now the Couch and Accent chairs have to be Return, why keep just a coach when the whole point of a living room set is to have all items? I waited 8 weeks for these pieces of furniture and I am just disappointed, upset and dissatisfy with the Service Ashley Furniture has provided. Dont offer a White Glove Service to your customers and then you all dont comply. I hope they send someone to get this couch and accent chairs because I am ready to go to Living Spaces, urgggggg!
I have purchased furniture from Ashley for many years. But this time was the worse experience that Ive ever had. Recently we placed an order for a whole sofa set with William Stewarts assist at the store in Southpark Meadows in Austin Texas.After searching thru all of their inventory, there was only one option for a sofa and loveseat we looked but they didnt have the color in store. So We placed the order off the color he showed us from their computer(pictures as attached) and a recliner. We also had been told it would be no charge to send it back right away if there was something wrong once delivered, otherwise we would be charged 10% of our purchase if we didnt reject it when they arrived. As we appreciated Williams sincere assistance and professional advice, we trusted his words and I had to change my off day to match the delivery date to make sure we both could review it. But what we received was not even close to what we was shown(picture attached). We rejected the order at the time of delivery since it was not what we ordered. We ordered a color of lighter brown and they sent me a dark chocolate color. When we returned to the store to receive a refund and the salesman explained that the manufacturer must have changed the color option and the pictures on the computer have not been changed to match what was being delivered. But it should be you ASHLEYs responsibility, not ours!!I therefore asked for a refund and the salesman told me we needed to discuss this with the sales coordinator name Chris Wilson. I met with Chris and he rudely asked me why I was even talking to him. He said that I would be charged a 10% penalty even though what I received was not what I ordered. I explained that this was not right and was told that this was all they would do.Please beware that this company does not stand behind their word and will penalize you even if it is a problem caused by them. If you feel like taking a risk to waste your money, its fine by me. I will never do business with Ashley furniture again for sure. Very dishonest.
Ashley Home Store at South Park Meadows was by far one of the best furniture buying experiences we have ever had! Doc Fishel was so helpful. No pressure but answered our ?s. We bought a sofa, ottoman & wall unit in an hour. Loved working with Doc. Happy Holidays to all!
Amazing customer service!! Leo helped me out so much in finding the right couch for me and was very patient. Was even helpful on his day off! Cant thank him enough and really hope he gets the recognition he deserves! Cant wait for my new couch to come in. Also Derek was very helpful as well! He helped me after I had decided which couch I wanted and came back in the next day - he made the buying process very easy, quick, and efficient. Derek also called me promptly to tel me there was a change and shipping on my couch and make sure it was okay with me. Really appreciated that. And just overall in general - everyone in this store was super nice and curious to their customers. So many asked if I needed help or were just polite/kind in general. Awesome store :)))
We were looking for patio furniture and checked out the store. Sure enough there were some floor models. Our sales rep was friendly and helpful and showed us several options that were available. We ended up picking up a complete set for a reasonable price. Never felt pushed to purchase, which is very important to me. Pleasant experience, and a nice selection.
Derek was great in helping me buy a power lift recliner. I knew what I wanted from looking online & he was great at matching the price Id found online; about $200 cheaper than the in-store price. It was a seamless process getting the financing. I also asked if he could make sure the folks who deliver the recliner could put the old recliner on the curb since bulk pickup is on Valentines Day.
I’ll start by saying I love the table I got from here but it took almost 6 months to be delivered and it kept getting delayed longer and longer. When I bought the table 10/12/21 I asked if they thought I might have it by thanksgiving and they said they “didn’t know for sure but it was possible!” Yeah right! The latest time they told me then was December but “definitely before Christmas!” Then when I text in December it was moved to “January” and after grilling the salesperson who sold me the table he admitted the latest would be March and well here we are. It’s been a frustrating experience but at least I have my table now but if you’re thinking about buying furniture from Ashley be warned not to expect your furniture for months on end. You might actually have more luck buying directly from their website which is not affiliated with this store or their sales.Ultimately I didn’t feel taken care of or cared for as a customer once I paid for the table. In my line of work I would of offered some sort of compensation for making someone wait half a year after purchasing something that was obviously not cheap.
We have attended by Lesny. She has guided us superbly, gave us proper time and attention. We were there for the first time at Ashley and looking for the living room Furnitire for more then month. But with her assistance and support by her and her manager we have chosen some of the furniture today.They gave us great discount and promised that they will make sure that the things will be delivered at earliest.
Unlike other furniture stores I visited, the folks at Ashley HomeStore were relaxed and really helped me focus on the type of furniture I was looking for. They never pressured for the sale and just wanted to make sure I was happy with what I was considering purchasing. I will definitely be back to the store in the future.
Unbelievable!! That’s how I can express this experience. We have initially came in to this store to look for our furniture for our living room and master bedroom for our first home. We were received very kindly by the store manager bill and he assigned us Jake as one of his best. Do not get me wrong they were very helpful while in the store.I asked Jake what was the order time to receive the items he gave us an estimated time of 4-6 weeks. We completed a partial payment of $2300 and left.We later received a call from our family members that they were going to gift us the furniture for our first home.The next day my husband cancelled the order with corporate since items were not needed. As per corporate a ticket was started and needed to be completed by the store we purchased the items. Jake was actually calling my husband that same day to complete full payment. My husband informed Jake of cancellation and was told that he was gonna process this on his end. My husband was told that refund would reflect within 3 - 5 business days.It has now been over 2 weeks since their last conversation and no refund has been received. My husband called corporate again and they said the ticket was never processed on the stores end. They sent a new ticket for the store to complete.My husband called to the store and they said they were not able to help him as a manager needed to approve this ticket. BUT! Was told “all managers were in a meeting and would give him a call back in 10 minutes”Its been 24 hours since they said 10 minutes 😒. Have been calling the store all day today and they do not answer.I actually was very pleased at the attention they provided at the store. Extremely disappointed at the lack of respond from this store! 😡😡😡😡😡
This was not only our first time in an Ashley HomeStore, but it was also our first major furniture purchase as a couple. We went in with the basic idea of what we wanted, but the knowledgeable staff at this location helped us find a piece that checked all of our boxes! Were extremely happy and confident in the purchase that we made. The staff was present, but not intrusive and made themselves available to answering all of the questions we threw at them. You can tell they really care about customer satisfaction instead of just pushing inventory or trying to make a sale.
My husband and I ordered a sofa set with a table. Now when we purchased them we were informed they were on back order, so we understood the wait. When I was notified that the order was going to be coming sooner I was so excited. I received a text message to pick a date, and informed that I would be noticed 48 hr before the delivery of the time. The information never came, so I called to find out. I was informed that the delivery was not only coming on the date I picked, but they were going to be delivered on 2 separate days. So the delivery was set up 4 days later for in the morning. I received a text that it was going to be delivered on the day scheduled, but in the morning. All of my pieces we’re supposed to be delivered the day of, and 1 piece was brought. The piece they did bring was broken. When they did bring the 1 piece they said the others would be on a different day that I didn’t even know of. I have spoken to the supervisor, and all they can say is sorry, but not fix the issue. It appears to me that no one there knows what they are doing, and can’t get anything right. Visited an Austin location. Staff was very helpful and nice. Michael Morgan really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and assisted us with all our needs. Very knowledgeable of the products we were interested in. Very satisfied with our purchases and looking forward to doing more business in the near future.
Mark and Rose did a great job in helping my family find just what we wanted for our new home Thanks Mark and Rose!! 😀😁 however the manager or person who had to approve the purchase thought he could slip one by me by trying to use a different discount. I thought this to be very disappointing and dishonest. Still happy with my purchase.
The store experience was very positive. There seemed a genuine interest in me finding the tight product, which in this case was a recliner. I was offered enough different products to understand what I liked and didnt like. I appreciate any place that sells its products on their own virtues and doesnt stoop to denigrating a competitors product.Recliners are expensive items and there was no rush to sell. I did end up buying and was pleased with what I will be getting. There was a very large selection available, and were I to be in the market for other new furniture, I would return.One feature I did like was that a five-year service plan was offered and accepted, and if unused during that period, the cost of the plan comes pack to me as a store credit, costing essentially nothing if I dont use it and spend use it toward a future purchase of at least $500.
Visited the store today and was very pleased with the experience, the sales person/manager Albert Martinez was very helpful. It wasn’t anything overwhelming, where the sales person is following you around the store and pushing you to make a decision. Not once did we feel rushed or pressured to buy. Once we decided on our living room set we told Albert what our price range was and what we liked he very calmly explained our options which was great. The financing was quick and easy which was great for a Sunday. I highly recommend this location and Ashley’s. Now all that’s left is for our living room set to be delivered.
We had a really great experience at Ashley Furniture. We got our whole living room set for a very reasonable price. Weve had it for two weeks now and we love it! Two couches and a recliner that fit nicely in our small living room. Weve had many compliments on the set from family and friends. Our representative was Doc and hes great.
Went to Ashley Home Store today after a disappointing visit to a competitor furniture store. After little help there, my wife and I found what we wanted. They said they could deliver in June…it is currently December.At Ashley, Louis showed us exactly what we were looking for, told us (sold us) their great insurance (which gave us a discount that paid for a chunk of the insurance), and then set up delivery.All of this took less than an hour for new living room furniture. We could not be happier!
Zero stars. I will NEVER do business with Ashley HomeStore again. Overall terrible experience. We ordered in April and its now August, and i still dont have a new condition couch i ordered. I have a damaged couch, ruined during white glove delivery. Ive since heard delivery estimates approaching 2022. Ive had them attempt to deliver a disgusting, used, replacement couch. Ive had deliver windows cancelled without notice. Ive had two week delay, after two week delay, which has now spanned months.Ive tried hard to be patient and calm, and accepted some of the initial problems in stride, but I now feel completely frustrated after months of repeated issues and awful customer service. This is just a barely functional shell of a business, which so far has shown no remorse and no signs of willingness to improve their operations and business processes. Avoid this terrible organization!The sale folks at the Austin location were actually somewhat nice and halfway helpful when shopping, but as soon as you sign your order, it goes off to the main company and their awful manufacturing, distribution, delivery, and customer service departments. I would feel completely ashamed to be a salesperson there, knowing how often us customers get abusive treatment after the sale. Ive spoken to the VIP Department of their customer service, who were either unwilling or powerless to do anything to resolve the situation. No one can guarantee any delivery dates or offer partial refunds. Every part of the organization is completely compartmentalized, making it impossible to get straight answers from anyone. I never would have bought this couch if i had known it would be this terrible of an experience. I only hope that maybe i can potentially save someone else the misery of dealing with this awful company.Please spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.
Went in not expecting much since its a pretty big brand, but quickly found out that they have a wide variety of furniture styles at a wide variety of price points. Ended up finding the bed set we wanted after having visited 2 other stores.Staff was friendly and attentive too. Shout out to Anna for being talkative, nice, and helpful. I also appreciated that she was vaccinated and asked if we were too. Always good to know that we are shopping safely!
I just spent 6,000 and I have been waiting 3 months for my furniture and they send me the wrong furniture! Don’t pick up my calls and customer services says I have to go to the store! I don’t have time to go down there and fight about my furniture! This is poor customer service! I’m so sick of the lack of follow through!Side note: I’m here at the store and they are trying to get me to call customer service! Insanity!
Be prepared to drop your credit if you finance through Aahley Furniture. Signed us up for a credit card and didnt tell us the monthly payment was only the minimum for a credit card we didnt sign up for. Terrible service. Would never go through them again. Shouldve read the reviews on Yelp
I was very impressed with the amount of help I received. Being a African American, most store have a very distant way of communicating with me as a buyer but not this store. Me and my girlfriend were able to find the perfect bed and frame with great, and I mean GREAT customer service. I will surly say they come on strong but have great ambitions to make you the customer, enjoy your time. I will most definitely come back to buy more. Thank you so much.😁

Received furniture on dates so no issues there. After about three to four weeks part of the motor went out on the brand new sofa. I called in and was told someone would be out to evaluate it. No one showed. I called back in and was told the ticket was closed because they didnt have enough information....so then call me at least! Luckily I called in and then was told she was opening a new ticket and I would be called within 48 hrs....never happened. I called in and the guy tells me that it never happens and I may be called within three weeks! He said he doesnt expect this to be closed but the second person didnt order the parts either. Now Im stuck waiting and hoping someone calls me within the next two weeks. Meanwhile, half of the sofa is stuck in the open position which doesnt work well when we have people expected this week. I wont be continuing my furniture buying here....
I bought a desk from here that they told me to go pick up at their warehouse, a 40 minute drive from the store. After driving 40 minutes to the warehouse and 40 back home, I found that the desk had a crushed corner. I called customer service to exchange the desk and they gave me a date for two weeks later to get a new desk. I expressed my dissatisfaction and they moved the date up sooner. So far, everything has gone great. However, I then received the second desk which also had a crushed corner. I was told I could either exchange it again or have a service technician come out and fix the desk. I elected to try my luck with a service technician because EVERYONE had told me they could fix the crushed corner. I called customer service and asked for help, but the first representative hung up on me. The second representative, Audrey, was very helpful and told me she had set up a service ticket and would hear back within 48 hours. I did not hear back. I received a voicemail 4 days later asking about my exchange. I did not ask for an exchange. I set up a service ticket. I then called back into the store (which I had to do 6 times because it kept going to voicemail) and spoke with the manager Anthony. It was clear that Anthony did not care about me or the situation, as all he did was call customer service on another phone, ask me to be quiet, talked to customer service for me, then said so did you hear all that?. I am now told that the service technician CANT fix the crushed corner and Ill have to wait another 2 weeks for an exchange. Anthony was this stores last hope for me and he did nothing for me and did not help at all. Calling customer service isnt fixing the problem, Ive been doing that on my own.Based on these other reviews Im concerned about my couch that they told me will arrive in 6 weeks. Ill update later if that ever shows up.
I ordered items in 10/2021 and I’ve been waiting over 5 months to receive my furniture. All along, I’ve been told my order was arriving on a given date, to later find out it was delayed. During my wait, the agent that assisted me left the job so I had no point of contact and new nothing about my order. They haven’t even reimbursed shipping costs or done anything to compensate the wait.
Worst customer service ever! Once they get their money they very much ghost you if you have any problems. Steve was not helpful and very unprofessional taking over a week to get back in response to parts not being delivered for now almost a month. Don’t come here.If you want resolve this, you can email me. This is ridiculous.
Working with Derek Clark navigate a very discriminatory financial lender, Synchrony is not an equal lender, Derek found another that worked with us. Kudos to Ashley for having people like Derek Clark who have empathy and are honest about the mistreatment from Syncrony.
Obviously very nice and good quality furniture. But today I would like to thank the excellent service from the associate Don Robison ( South Park Meadows Austin TX. Branch) who without a doubt came to introduce himself and offer his help, thanks to his manager on duty who was also very kind.
Not a great experience. Purchase furniture back in august 2021 and was told things were slow as expected and would get by October and maybe December at the latest. Every time I call the bed frame delivery gets pushed back and now is stating March 2022 which is crazy. Decided I wanted to cancel it and initially Zach and the store manager were very understanding and agreed to cancel. However since then I have been unable to get the cancellation to go through. Every time I come into the store I am told I will get a confirmation once it’s done or it’s being followed up onWent in today and met a new person as Zach wasn’t in by the name of Michael who was rude from the very beginning stating to just put my name down and we will get back to youThe fact is every time I am promised a follow up, it never comes. I have to be the one to follow up each time so finally called customer care to do it. And they told me they processed the cancellation and have been waiting 3 days for the store which is highly unusual to take this long so yeah I would pick a different Ashley store if I were to shop in the future
I have had an awful experience with this store. I was told my order would arrive in October of 2021 when I ordered it in August of 2021. It has since then been pushed back several times. After a wild goose chase of trying to get in touch with an actual human being each time I tried to get an update, I finally went into the store where I ordered it to talk to someone. I was told it would be delivered in December 2021. I never got a call to so I decided to check back in. The online system gave me the wrong phone number two different times, I was on hold for 30 min, and finally found the correct number myself. The lady told me it would be delivered in March 2022 and was unbelievably unhelpful. I understand there are reasons for it being pushed back but their system is unorganized and incredibly frustrating. I will not be purchasing with them again.
I purchased a matress and bedroom set from this store in August. They quoted us 2 weeks for the matress and 4 weeks for the bed frame. The matress and just the headboard in a large box came two weeks later, but they are telling us it might not be until February until the rest of the bed is delivered. There automated text keep coming to my phone asking me to set up delivery and then I cant because they dont actually have it. I would have never purchased the furniture if I knew it would take 6 months for them to deliver it! Wait times are long whenever I try to get ahold of someone on the phone. I will not purchase anything from Ashley in the future.
Went in to look for a sofa with my partner and Doc was able to totally take care of us. Doc made the process super easy and efficient, helped us weigh all of our options, and ended up getting us a great deal. would highly recommend his services to any friend or family member.
As first time furniture buyers, Anne Reyna made our experience so easy and simple! She was able to answer all of our questions, give great advice, and we felt genuinely cared for while shopping with her! She is very understanding and knowledgeable in all that goes into buying furniture! I will most definitely be going back to this location to work with Anne again. As for the rest of the store, everyone is friendly and willing to help out. The store had a great selection of items to choose from.
Worst customer service experience!!! They just want to complete the sale so they will tell you fake delivery dates. They told me my dining set will arrive in 4-6 weeks and that was the only thing that make us choose that set since we are expecting family visit and need a dining table for 6. Now they are telling me that the chairs will arrive on March, and when I look at the receipt it said that it could take 12-16 weeks. I bought on Oct 28 so 16 weeks doesn’t even get to March either. I talked to a supervisor and she told me that she couldn’t do anything more than canceling my order which I already did with the representative. I knew Ashley furniture wasn’t a very good idea and they confirmed it.
Good until you need anything. They offer a warranty but change the products so frequently ….so then can say they don’t carry it anymore. They will direct you to customer service. Customer service will tell you they can’t help or that they dont have you info. No customer service reps but lots of sales people. Funk.this.place.
This is the first review I’ve ever written… I went to the Ashley home store on 9900 I-35 in Austin Jan 1 2022. I bought a couch and wanted to pick it up myself at their DC. I specifically asked my salesman if the DC was open, because it was New Years. He said yes, so I drove 40 miles to New Braunfels and it was closed. I called the store repeatedly, while waiting in front of the DC and no one answered. 20 minutes later a DC employee come out and tells me they are closed for pickups. I drive back to the store, another 40 miles, to voice my frustration and figure out when I can get my couch. I asked the manager what he can do for me, since he just wasted two hours of my time. He offers me $40 off on a $1000 couch. He says he can’t do more because that will eat into his cost and that’s “no way to run a business”. I ask him if sending a customer 40 miles away on a wild goose chase is how to run a business and he seemed to agree that it was not. Regardless, he didn’t budge and didn’t seem to care about retaining me as a customer so I got a refund and will buy my couch somewhere else. Find somewhere else to buy furniture, this place is a mess.
I really appreciated Anna finding us furniture that would be available to ship soon despite the nationwide shortages, and for honoring sale prices we saw online. She was so helpful and really made our experience the best. I will definitely go back the next time I need furniture.

I would literally never shop here or at any affiliates ever again. My order was delayed for (understandable) covid reasons. I wasnt mad but when they said that the couch I ordered in August wouldnt be available until maybe December but more than likely January I respectfully asked to cancel my order.I paid the cancellation fee and was happy and ready to come back next time. This is where the fun starts. My refund was supposed to hit within 3-4 business days. Time goes by. After a week, I call in. They inform me that a ticket was never created. It will now be 5-7 business days. Aggravating but okay. 7 business days go by and nothing. I call again (today). Something was wrong with the ticket and it will now be 7-10 business days before I get my refund. Dont shop here if you value your money because if anything is wrong you face no help, no service and long delays.Edit: since I noticed that no one comes back after being contacted by their inner escalation team I figured Id be the good samaritan. After this review, they responded and I got in contact. They told me Id have my refund for sure by the end of this week. Today I contacted them and they said that a paper check went out this morning and it will arrive in 2 to 3 weeks. Thats right folks. In the era of Amazon instant returns, it will take 7 weeks to get a refund at this store and to be honest Im not sure that check will ever arrive. Im seriously thinking about contacting the attorney general.
I am beyond frustrated with Ashley furniture. Especially with communication. I was willing to be flexible and accommodating to the challenges we face with supply but the bold avoidance and lack of response Is beyond unprofessional. I just want to call back to discuss my 5k order I paid for in full 15 weeks ago. Their call center and Customer service agents have NO information available to assist or inform consumers. Asking for a refund means more LONG holds times. Finally had to dispute with my card company. In the end AVOID this store in Pflugerville Texas.
Zach Simons was my salesman and he did outstanding! I went in knowing exactly what I wanted. He asked around to make sure that my item was on the sales floor and even carried a chair that matched one I had at home all the way across the sales floor to make sure I liked the 2 items together. He didnt pressure me to make a purchase and allowed me to think it over! Thank you for the great customer service Zach and Ashley Furniture!
Had a great experience at Ashley. Went looking for a mattress. Was not satisfy with what we saw at first. Then the sales person we had, Anna, found a great mattress for us. Then not finding a bed frame at first, Anna went WAY ABOVE what was expected to help us out. She did not give up until we exhausted all options. Great service.
I really wanted to love buying furniture from this store. My family has been buying furniture from Ashley for ages, but this has got to be by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.I stopped in store to buy a couch and was told it would be available within 1-2 weeks. I communicated to salesperson I only wanted to buy something that was readily available. Next thing I know, it has been a month with no update or contact from Ashley furniture. I try contacting via phone and it’s impossible to get a hold of someone. I had to learn from their chat box online that my order was delayed by *7 months*. Their chat box says they can’t cancel my order and I have to call the store directly.I go weeks trying to get a hold of the store, again no one answers the phone. I finally get a hold of someone and they claim “a manager has to call me to issue a refund”.They say someone will call me and no one has.. it’s been weeks. Again, I can’t get a hold of anyone on the phone to cancel and refund my order.I can’t believe an establishment of this size can do business like this. Save yourself the headache and just shop elsewhere
The vibe was very nice and welcoming without feeling pushy. I had done some online search for what I know I was after, a XL TV stand. Albert was nice and his patience with my slow phone to show him what I had seen was much appreciated. He had knowledge of his inventory and took us to floor samples. Although none of those worked out for my particular taste my phone finally came up with the model I had seen. Albert showing us a similar sized one of what I wanted really helped me visualize my online choice. We were able to make the purchase in less than an hour. Very cool👍🏻. Looking forward to my delivery late April WITH ASSEMBLY that my husband is happiest about.
Awesome experience today as we were just “looking” at living room furniture. Immediately greeted by Kylle and boom we were blown away by his friendliness and overall care to what we were looking for. A couple sofas and we were hooked on a beautiful oversized sectional. Kylle broke down the price to us and the sale was an even better deal on them. He was very knowledgeable about the products available and was able to compare them to different models in the store to make sure we had seen everything we needed to before making our final decision. We walked away with an awesome deal and great experience. The store itself was very clean and kid friendly with the little play area to help burn some energy so we could shop. Great service, would definitely recommend Ashley’s and Kylle in particular for your furniture needs. Thank You

TL;DR: terrible after sale support, no returns.The sales people here are very friendly and courteous. However their customer service afterwards is horrendous. Their shipping is the worst and they charge a fee to return product that is undelivered. Once it’s delivered you’re out of luck, no returns.I would recommend using the showroom to view the products and order from somewhere else. That’s because Ashley Signature stuff is sold by many many vendors. Those vendors usually have better return policies and sometimes offer free shipping unlike these glutteous Maximus hats.We purchased a lot of stuff from here and got a few pieces delivered (night stands and a few chairs) they then told us our bigger items arrived damaged and it would be several months before they got any in. We also purchased their protection plan. When we decided that we did not want to wait months to get those big items (even though one of their vendors in Houston had 80 of them) delivered we learned about the return fees and how once something is delivered you cannot return it.When we cancelled our order they didn’t refund our protection plan costs. We have called several times and the manager is never available but they always tell us that the manager will call us back soon. It’s been 3 months and nothing.Avoid at all costs. There are better places to shop for furniture.
If I could rate no stars I would. I purchased $3K worth of furniture in February to anticipate the delays in availability since I needed the furniture by July. Placed the order in San Antonio location near Dezavala and I10. The gentleman that helped us was quick to make a sale and say that the warehouse would hold the furniture if we needed to delay delivery since we were building our home. Come to find out that wasn’t true after a 5 month wait, we still had no confirmed delivery, and multiple reps online mentioned that the furniture was still not available. Heard 3 different stories from 3 different customer service reps. Finally went to the store to see what was going on to find out delivery was not going to be done until October, that they do not hold furniture and sold it to another client. This is ridiculous service for someone that had plenty of time to fulfill the order and for the spend to be treated like the order did not matter. Still don’t have my refund, will need to call again by Monday if not refunded according to the service rep. Was a long time customer, will never purchase anything from Ashley ever again.
There are many things out of our control like furniture availability due to the pandemic. I purchased a bedroom set for my daughters and it has been a complete chaos! My sales rep Ana has been as helpful as she could be but at the end of the day it bas been mess up over mess up..I am disappointed and will never purchase from Ashley Furniture again even when I have been a faithful customer with multiple room sets from here. 3,000 dollars later my first appointment the installers did not show in the timeframe they were supposed to, according to the installer the bottom piece was wrong making the set up incomplete, after calling in ends up being it was right, having to reschedule, at rescheduling the bottom bed does not roll under the top bed as it should due to mattress being to tall even though manager was asked to make sure it worked. You cant get a hold of the manager, múltiple orders have had to be made and yet furniture order is wrong.
Everyone here was extremely friendly and welcoming. My partner and I are blind, and not only were we directed well, but everything was discribed to us in great detail. After purchasing our items, the associates graciously helped us look out for our transportation. I would definitely do business here again and again! Came in to look at furniture for multiple rooms. We prefer mid-century modern and werent sure that wed find anything of interest. Albert helped us, he was attentive but not pushy. We are very pleased with the sofa/love seat combo that we found. Great customer service and the price was very fair. We will be back for a whole bedroom set and possibly a chase lounge sofa for our game room. So happy we came in to the store!
The WORST furniture-buying experience to date. Sales agents are more than happy to sell, but they do not tell you when you will receive your items. Items are delayed and you will not be made aware. I purchased my items in June, I will be lucky to receive them by December. Needless to say, I will never shop at Ashley HomeStore again.

I went in to Ashley HomeStore looking for nothing, but at the same time everything! I need to furnish my entire apartment but I wasnt sure where to start. Luckily, the gentleman assisting me, Michael, knew exactly what to ask me in order to help me get a grasp on starting my apartment from scratch. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Even with masks on, you could see everyones smiles come through. I had such a pleasant experience! No detail was left unnoticed and I was made fully aware of everything during purchasing, which I greatly appreciated. I would recommend shopping at Ashley 10 out of 10 times. The style and quality are unmatched!
Overall had a good experience purchasing here. Staff was friendly and the furniture had great sales. Unfortunately almost everything had extremely long wait times but that’s likely due to the season. Overall I’d recommend, just know that the likelihood of you getting what you want in a timely manner is slim. In other words, shop *before* you have to move in.
My wife and I went in a few weeks ago and found more than what we expected! Scarlett was very helpful and helped us get the best price for what we wanted. She has kept in touch with the order and delivery status. I highly recommend Ashley Furniture for your homes needs. Ashleys has much better quality furniture than most all other furniture stores so before you spend your hard earned money with the Swedes north of Austin, stop by Ashley Furniture first.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by an employee and he introduced himself to me as Doc. After walking the floor I saw what I was looking for. Doc explained all of the payment options to me and told me to take my time to think about it. He also told me he could answer any questions I might have. As a returning customer, Doc, along with Josh, worked with me and gave me a great deal. The whole process was very smooth. At no time did I feel any pressure to buy. As a matter of fact, we joked throughout the process and had a good time. They also provided me with a bottle of water; which was nice. I was thirsty.
Me and my partner went here to buy our living room set, dining room table and a desk. We were promised by the sales associate that we will get everything within a month, which is a big reason why we bought everything right then. Two months later we finally got a call for the living room set to be delivered. Three months after the purchase we got our dinning room table. It has been four months since we bought the desk and we still haven’t gotten a call. We have called costumer service five time and they have assured us that our sales associate Josh will call us the next day. Each time, we haven’t gotten a call at all from this store. Not only did they lie straight to our faces just to make a sale, they don’t even communicate when we call. NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH ASHLEY AGAIN.
I rarely write reviews but after receiving the most wonderful service, I had to acknowledge the sales representative we worked with, Sydney. I was shocked when Sydney said she had only been working with the store for 2 months, the level of patience and knowledge she had was admirable. Just for some context, my family and I are moving from CT to Austin and are starting completely from scratch. We had been searching various furniture stores with no luck. When we stumbled upon Ashley Furniture, we went in with very low expectations. Somehow, Sydney found us and saved us from the overwhelming experience of picking out new furniture. She assisted us right until the store closed and still managed to stay upbeat and positive even when we changed our mind numerous times when we were picking out items. For anyone who’s looking to buy furniture, find Sydney because she is one of the best employees there!
A gentlemen named John helped me at the Southpark Meadows store. He was so very nice and helpful without being pushy. He really made me feel like I could take my time and was very honest with me about shipping times because that was my concern. He’s probably one of the nicest people I’ve ever bought anything from.
This is my first experience purchasing furniture at Ashley furniture store. As we walked in, we were approached kindly and right away by salesman Nahum Sanchez. He gave us the liberty to browse the show room and ask him questions, with out any pressure. Nahum also explained in details there promotions and offered options to work around our needs. We look forward to making another visit in the future.
Horrible customer service. Bad communication. They cancelled our dining table order without asking for our confirmation..it’s even on their own notes to ask us if we wanted to cancel! We found out on the day of our delivery when we had to call and check what was going on with our order. The worse furniture experience possible. Other places are wayyy more reliable and communicative.
So far our experience with this company has been nothing but dealing with an unorganized and incompetent structure.We purchased a bed and dresser and were advised the mattress was on back order for weeks. By our request, we wanted delivery when all the items were in stock.Well we’ve had 4 calls confirming partial delivery and each and every time my wife has had to spend a bit of time on the phone explaining the situation.We are at the point where we will not accept delivery until they cancel our order as we’ve requested this last time. Even that was a hassle.Don’t buy from Ashley’s.
I just made 2 major purchases at Ashley’s in Austin (Southpark Meadows). Sydney was the sales rep, who was helping me out. She was very knowledgeable professional and super courteous and very very patient. She made the whole process of selecting the bedroom set and living room set go smoothly, great sales lady! And as for the other staff members, as soon as a potential customer came through the door they were immediately met with a friendly hello and asked what they can be helped with. I will now become a repeat customer👍🏽
I ordered a sectional over the phone at the Austin store and the attendant had been extremly polite. He matched the price of an item that I gave him over email that had a quote from a piece at another Ashley franchise. He gave us a video of the item and was able to process the payment and give all the receipts and other information. Very professional and quick experience.
I previously left a pretty negative 1 star review for Ashley because during the process between when I purchased my furniture, and when it arrived, I was given so much conflicting information and it was the most frustrating experience to navigate. Any time I called I was told my items were on back order and would not be available to ship for 10 to 12 weeks (automated message... and not correct). Only when I threatened to cancel did I finally get someones attention and a sufficient response to my when will it be here question. A few minutes ago my furniture arrived, only a couple of weeks late. And so far I love it.
Nahum was extremely helpful and made the experience very comfortable- I’m a first time furniture buyer, so I had a lot of questions and concerns about pricing, quality of the furniture material, and delivery. He was able to ease my nerves, match the price that I found my desired bed set for online, and walked me through the delivery protocol. The store was quiet, clean, and all of the floor associates were friendly.
We were looking for a nice durable couch. We had never made a purchase at Ashley Homestead before. We usually buy at the other place but the quality was good at Ashley and there was 25÷ off so we were already doing better than we expected. We made our purchase with Zachs help and now we wait for our new sectional. We couldnt be more happy.
A total nightmare. Absolutely horrible. Please spend your money elsewhere. We ordered back in February 2021 to have our furniture delivered July 2021. They decide to call us ONE day before moving/delivery that they cancelled our delivery and will not be able to deliver until mid August. We called to get some kind of discount for the delay and for us having to go pick up the furniture ourselves but instead we were placed on hold for 20+ minutes and then hung up on, tried to call back and got the “we are currently closed” line. You can imagine our frustration. Never ever ever again.
Was told my bedroom furniture would be delivered yesterday 2/12/2021. I thought it was odd that I hadnt heard from anyone so I decided to call and confirm the delivery time. The lady on the phone told me that they were scheduled to arrive between 2:45 and 5:45. This put my mind at ease right up until 5:45 arrived. I still hadnt heard anything so I called again. This time another representative told me she had no Idea how the other representative could have told me that because the furniture was still in manufacturing! I was blatantly lied to!! Now I will not have bedroom furniture to use in my new home for at least a month! Im furious! Seems like lots of people have the same experience as me as well. Do not make the same mistake as me and use this company. Your business will be better taken care of somewhere else.
Michael was a great sales associate. He gave us the space to look around but was in close proximity to answer any question. He made the process enjoyable and didn’t pressure us to get something we weren’t interested in.Edit: while the store experience was great, as a company I do not recommend at all to anyone! I prematurely wrote this review. I’ve had issues since the moment they delivered the first item. The delivery individuals did not set up the bed due to missing hardware. They told me they would call me within 24-48 hours...nothing. I called them one time over the phone and chatted with them another time and they told me the SAME THING. That they have taken action and notified the warehouse and would get back to me within 24-48 hours. Almost a month later, I call for a third time and FINALLY someone lets me know that no one had taken action on the order. Not surprising at all. They say that I should get the missing hardware. I do, and I call to let them know and they let me know they will have a technician out to fix the issue on 12/31. 12/31 comes around, the day technician was supposed to come in...no one shows and no I got no call to let me know. I call them and they say the technician called in but they didn’t bother letting me know he wasn’t coming. They would have never called if I didn’t call them. They then tell me no one can come until 1/5, so here we are. Technician arrives and lets me know the parts they sent over are not the right ones. So he says he is going to expedite order so I can get a new bed frame. Here is to hoping they can do that. Regardless, with the inconsistencies in communication I decide to call customer service and they were aware of all the issues so they offered a $50 gift card. Ridiculous. Their justification being that it’s based off of how much I’ve paid. HOW DO THEY EXPECT ME TO PAY FOR AN UNFINISHED ORDER. I told them to connect me with a supervisor and of course was told I would hear from someone within 24-48 hours.All I am saying is, with everything going on, they should be more consistent with communication and should at least attempt to communicate with their delivery company and warehouse. If I knew it was going to be this difficult to get some furniture, I would have never bought from them. And don’t get me started on the other items purchased.
Ordered over $10k worth of furniture from them 3 months ago - was promised that everything would be delivered in 4 weeks (with estimated delivery dates in their systems). They claimed that because they are the biggest in the US, they have furniture in stock in warehouses all over. So far the delivery just keeps getting pushed back every month for another month, and at this point will be 4 months after purchase. Should have bought my stuff on wayfair. Will definitely be requesting a full refund and will raise hell if Im charged a cancellation fee.
First time visiting Ashley’s Furniture Store and I was very impressed with the level of customer service. Our rep Nahum went above and beyond to help us look for the desired living room set. Never felt overwhelmed, pressured nor rushed. For the past 14 years of always shop elsewhere but I think I found my new favorite furniture store.
We had a great experience with Kris. He was extremely helpful and clear with financing our first bed frame! This was a huge purchase for us and he removed all the anxiety by walking us through the processes.The selection of furniture was gorgeous and reasonably priced. You can look elsewhere for some cheaper items of similar make, so don’t feel trapped. But overall I really enjoyed shopping here!
John was fantastic and an excellent salesman. He walked my girlfriend and I through the process even though we were still slightly deciding on what we wanted to do exactly. Ultimately he helped us get what we needed and gave us a few laughs. The store in its entirety was nice too.
Never ever ever buy from Ashley HomeStore! When we went in to purchase our sofa all seemed well. Lady let us know that we would receive our sofa on Feb 28th which is what definitely sold us!!!Complete LIES. Never received the call she said we would get in 48 hours to confirm delivery date. The sales lady was so pushy didnt give us time to debate financing or paying it whole. She did not disclose the delivery date can change. Called customer service and now the estimated delivery wont be until end of April. Go shop at Mega furniture they carry almost all the same items at a great discount and you get an ACCURATE delivery date!! I regret buying from here.
Terrible customer service and poorly managed store. My mother and I went to the store looking for wall art for my new house, and very clearly were looking for wall art. The manager on staff during our first visit was very sweet and seemed very knowledgeable, so we felt confident we were going to get some great stuff. We found a few portraits we liked so we went home to make sure it would fit. We go back to the store later that evening to purchase them, and we had a few questions and it took the sales rep an hour to get them sorted out. They were pretty basic and questions such “can we take these home and if they don’t work work, can we return them?” “How do we pick up the pictures?” And “and what do we do if they don’t work out” we were getting mixed answers all night, and the sales representative told us we could return them if they didn’t work out, but later when it came down to purchasing the items they told us that we couldn’t return them. And instead of owning up to the miscommunication, they were trying to play them blame game on who said what and even tried blaming it on us is saying she thought we were looking at beds, when it was very obvious we were looking at portraits because from the beginning I asked her about a blue painting I saw online and we discussed a few canvas’ i liked. The whole process ended up taking over 2 hours and when we would look around and there were representatives all over the floor doing nothing besides just talking to each other, and every time we would go see what was taking our rep so long, we would see her talking to a coworker (not about her customers she had waiting on her) and she would just claim she was waiting on a response. I recognize that our sale might have seemed small compared to a furniture sale, but they lost even a sale that was basically locked in from the moment we walked in the door. We could’ve been out of there within 30 minutes to an hour and been happy with our purchase and they could’ve moved on to other customers in the store, but instead it dragged out and we left very unsatisfied. We ended the night talking to a manger who was not accommodating us in any way or acknowledging the miscommunications that took place. The manger on staff that evening kept telling us that this isn’t his company so he can’t help us with our problem, but my question to that is doesn’t he operate the store front and represent Ashley furniture in order to generate sales for the business model and for themselves and to guarantee returning business and referrals? Obviously they prioritize policy and poor management over customer satisfaction. Needless to say, I did not purchase the wall art I actually really loved, not based on the company policies of non-refundable art, but based on the customer service we received last night. Also, based on me and my family’s experience, we will not be shopping with this store again.
People in the store are very nice and very helpful, the furniture is high quality. Just make sure you order it something like 3 - 4 months before you actually need it. Also, dont schedule off work on days they tell you it will be ready for delivery because that date will change constantly. We ordered our couch in October, have to change Christmas plans since the order will be pushed further back into next year.
I purchased a sectional from them in 2017 and had a good experience so I went back to purchase furniture for my new home in February 2021 and it has been AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. One of my first questions after selecting my items was is everything in stock and how soon will it be delivered, they told me everything was in stock and would be delivered sometime between 3/5/21-3/9/21. I asked if they do partial deliveries if something was on back order (knowing inventory may not update in real time) and they said no, they don’t do partial deliveries anymore and only deliver when the full order is available. March 9th comes and goes, I wait a week before calling to ask what’s going on…I was told then it would be April 15th before it arrives and the lady helping me confirmed they do not deliver partial orders. I was frustrated since I had guests scheduled to stay and no furniture for them to use but I rearranged my plans. April 15th comes and goes with no communication from Ashley Furniture so I planned to call back Monday. On Saturday I get a text from Ashley requesting I schedule my delivery (FINALLY, or so I thought). I schedule it ASAP and much to my surprise when the guys show up they only have HALF of my order. At this point I’m somewhat pleased because now I had a bed, the air mattress was miserable. I ask the guys when they started doing partial deliveries and they really didn’t have an answer for me, can’t blame em, they just move what they’re told. I call Ashley again to ask when the rest of it would be here as I have guests that rescheduled their visit to beginning of May, I’m told the rest of it will be here June 15th. I asked to speak to a manager to figure out what’s going on and after waiting on hold 56 minutes their line ended the call…I was infuriated. I reschedule some guests to visit beginning of July thinking SURELY I’ll have my furniture by then…well, it’s now June 29th and I still don’t have it. I called AGAIN last Wednesday 6/23 and spoke with Omar who told me it won’t be delivered until AUGUST 27th…I ask to speak to his manager, after fighting me for 5 minutes he transferred me to Miguel who ensured me he’d look into it and reach out to me by Friday 6/25. Friday comes and goes with no communication from him or anyone. The worst part is you can never get in touch with the same person, they don’t communicate with you and clearly don’t care about customer service at all! Today 6/29/21 I call the store and speak with Michael in sales who is supposed to get back with me today with an ETA on my order or info on how to return what I have if it’ll be another 2 months before I have the rest of my furniture, we’ll see about that. My initial sales person was Amelia Loving who confirmed 6/15/21 latest delivery, I’ve referred several people to her with much regret. If my furniture can’t be delivered within 2 weeks I will be returning what was delivered and happily taking my business elsewhere, I didn’t spend roughly $6k on 1 room to have a mismatched set. I was planning to order more for the rest of the house but given this experience I will NEVER use Ashley furniture again, nor will I refer anymore family/friends/clients to them. BEWARE if you decide to purchase from them, their story conveniently changed when it best suits them and they could care less about good or even decent customer service. I understand delays happen but I certainly expect communication from the company if/when that happens. If you need furniture in a timely manner, or even if you have a month or 2 cushion before it’s needed TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE, they will not deliver on their promise! Had I seen reviews like this prior to going back I would’ve shopped around more but I’m a big advocate on supporting businesses who are honest, dependable, and treat their clients with respect…that is no longer how Ashley chooses to do business, you’ve been warned.
Horrible service. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option. They promised when I purchased the living and dining room set that it would arrive within a month. Now my delivery date has been pushed back 4 times and is now scheduled 4 months from the time of purchase. Purchased early June and delivery will be sometime in October?? I was also promised by their manager “David” who said to just text him to follow up on delivery dates but he hardly responded. And reaching their customer service dept takes over 2 hours until you reach a real live person. And when I finally got 2 pieces from my order, the bench came with a tear and had to be exchanged. They also promise a delivery time but that doesn’t matter and if they get there outside their delivery window they won’t hesitate to leave and not drop off your furniture if you don’t answer immediately even though they gave a window of their expected delivery. And trying to cancel your order after it has been pushed back 4 months, they still charge you a restocking fee. Restocking what exactly? The sofa hasn’t even been made. Absolutely horrible. Never buying anything there. It is also impossible to reach anyone in the store. I have had to drive up there twice just to speak with someone to follow up since there is zero communication with their customers on where they are with your furniture delivery. This was my first and my last time dealing with them. Waste of my time and lost money in the end.i have had to make work adjustments and have had to affect other people’s schedules because of the expected delivery of these items which ended up not being delivered on those dates as expected. They are unreliable.
Had a wonderful experience at Ashley’s Furniture in South Austin with the manager, Mike! He quickly looked for the furniture pieces we wanted and helped us by offering different options for some of the sofas that were not available or had delayed shipping. Can’t wait to come back to get additional pieces!

I had a great experience at Ashley Furniture…I found a beautiful recliner sofa that I fell in love with but the price was out of my price range…I kept shopping around and found it somewhere else for $200 cheaper…walked into Ashley’s Home store near me and asked if they priced matched…they stated yes and I was in and out in about 20mins…waiting now for my pick up from the warehouse…thank you for the great costumer service!!!
We had a great experience at Ashley HomeStore. The customer service and knowledge was excellent. The person that looked after us was J.R and we could not have been happier with our purchases and with his help.We understand there are delays and back orders due to the current pandemic but we were well informed and understand the situation.We will definitely be shopping here again in the future and we recommend It highly.
I have visited Doc multiple times at Southpark Meadows Ashley and he never disappoints! Been going back to him for over five years now. We were also assisted by Sydney today and loved her! We were able to find our new home a bedroom set and can’t wait for it to come in.
My sales person helped me to order my daughters princess bed. He was so patient and nice and so helpful and respectful. He made the process of purchasing my item so easily. I live in california and moving to Texas and this place was hassle free and so quick and easy it was like I was in the store purchasing and not over the phone so easy. I think this was the easiest transaction and interaction with purchasing anything from ashleys. He was the best. I highly recommend this place 10000%.
Brent was very helpful from the moment he saw me. He was very friendly and quickly informed me about the promotions available and showed me exactly what I had in mind after I told him the theme and colors I was looking for. At the end he prepared the different options (estimates) I had and was honest about delivery expectations. Also, I really enjoyed that he wasn’t pushy at all. I would definitely Recommend this location and Brent to help you find the furniture in your home.
Ordered something in store back in October. It’s still not in my hands. Working with the sales reps are great and they promised all these amazing things about delivery. Now trying to get things to deliver and working with the customer service has been a nightmare. We have followed up twice a week every week and each day they give us a different answer. I called twice within 5 minutes and got two completely different responses on my order. It’s honestly a joke. They make the sale great but never follow through on the customer service experience after you purchased. Terrible terrible terrible!! Go with wayfair or overstock at least they follow through until the end. Wow. In shock how terrible this experience has been. Living without furniture since October.Additionally they said when we purchased they would partially deliver my couch but then when requested (since it’s a large sectional I’ll go without one piece to at least have something) and now they say their policy changed 2 days ago and they won’t partial deliver. Some pieces are just sitting in the warehouse and I only found out by calling every day. So I asked them to deliver those pieces, they will but earlier delivery was over a week out and by that point everything should be in the warehouse but they can’t deliver it all on the same day even though it will be there. Terrible customer service after you make the sale. They don’t care. They only care about the sale.
We moved into a new home after living in the old one for 16 years, so we wanted everything new. Salesperson was very attentive, very nice and told us that everything should be delivered 6-8 weeks out. GREAT We also purchased mattresses, however, we were not yet ready for them to be delivered immediately so we needed to scheduled them for a later time. Not a problem, we were told. Just give them a call when ready, and they would be delivered within the week.Long story short, there were miscommunications and delays that compounded one on top of the other. I was given a call from the store manager, or thats how he introduced himself, that the furniture was delayed another 6 / 8 weeks. When asked for a reason, I was told there was not one available. There was further miscommunication, confusing texts and phone calls regarding delivery which, come to find out, where the mattresses that were being delivered a month in advance. I finnaly called customer service and asked what was happening. Before hanging up, I decided to go ahead and ask them to check on status of the couch and loveseat that I thought were being delivered, as the text/ calls said furniture. I was told my order had been CANCELED two weeks ago. Of course, I was told that no information was provided showing who requested the cancelation. I decided to drive an hour to the store to speak with the store manager face-to-face. The manager told me that hes been the store manager since November and was not the person who called me?!? Even showed me his name badge, like I thought he was lying. He even asked me, You didnt cancel the order? Ummmm WHY would I be here right now, having this conversation with you, if I canceled the order?On a positive note, at another Ashley location, found a different set that we liked better, of course more expensive, but eta 2 WEEKS. Fingers crossed that we we have a better experience with this location!
Had a very positive experience at Ashley in Austin, TX. Doc (Mark) was the salesman and he is professional and goes out of his way to get the items that you want. Got everything done in a short time. Very satisfied with purchases and the excellent customer service. Will recommend and use again! Make sure to see Doc!
This is the second time we get our furniture from Ashley’s. We moved into our house almost a month ago and could not agree on anything we wanted to get for it, even google searches and trying to buy online we looked everywhere so we still don’t have anything. But yesterday we went to Ashley’s and ended up getting a sectional recliner, table set, bar stools, and even two night stands for our bed set that we got from them the first time. Love the furniture there, the guy who helped us out was amazing and we even got a 20% discount as well on everything so saved over a grand. We will be going back for outdoor furniture next 😂

2022-08-19Back in June my father was searching for a specific type of sectional, previously we had gone to a different furniture store and their selection was limited. We came to Ashley furniture and James was really helpful throughout the process up until our delivery date. Even though our delivery date changed about 2 times but James was on top of everything and giving us updates on our order. Thank you James. Also thank you to the two delivery guys who set up everything that day.

2022-04-27This deserves zero stars.Do NOT buy from this store or any other Ashley Home store unless you don’t mind poor customer service, misinformation, and confusion. We bought a leather reclining loveseat, were told it would be ready for pickup today. Arrived at 12:30pm. Our order paperwork said to pick it up at this location. Sales manager (Michael C.) informed us that there are no pick ups at this location. The warehouse is 45 miles away and he spent an hour calling around and emailing to try to locate our loveseat. They messed up BIG TIME.

2022-04-07Worst experience ever. I purchased furniture and was promised a discount/extra pillows, it was not honored. All of that is fine, no big deal.After my purchase on 3/29, I received communication saying I needed to get my furniture out of the store and they would not hold it for me at my desired move-in date. I explicitly and definitively told them when I would pick up the couch and I have, IN WRITING, that they would honor that. They did no such thing. A week later they kept saying ominous statements. For example. Well leave it here for you but Id pick it up if I were you because we cant guarantee something bad wont happen to it.So, I go to the store to pick it up and the lifters werent there at my pickup time, that was already scheduled. I was paying a mover by the hour so we did it ourselves. Not only did they not help us, but we literally had to ask for them to open the doors for us. People were on the couches playing games on their phone.FAR AND WIDE the worst experience ever. Thisestablishment is humorous, abysmal, and themiscommunication between its employees is not only unacceptable, but almost unbelievable.Unless someone from corporate calls me and they try to redeem themselves somehow, I will absolutely relay my feedback as much as possible so no one else can experience even slightly what Ive gone through.

2022-06-11I have to say that Luis, our salesman, was not only pleasant and knowledgeable, but very low pressure. He was there to assist, but didnt crowd us either. Being in sakes for over 40 years ourselves, we recognize high pressure, less-than-honest salesmanship. While we have not received our furniture just yet, we will give very high ratings to the initial sales part.We will see what happens with delivery and set up. I have faith Luis will stay on top of this part as well. Praying the remainder of this process goes just as well as the sale, and if the quality and workmanship of the costly sectional is as good as was represented, well appreciate the sale and enjoy our sectional for many years to come!

2022-07-12We had a great experience buying the furniture last year. However, that was the only thing that was great. Trying to get the furniture delivered was a nightmare. We purchased in Oct of last year and all prices just delivered complete 3 days ago.One of the delivery guys dropped our table top to take a phone call (on camera) and when it wouldn’t expand to add the leaf, he forced us to say it “came that way” or he would have to take it with him right then. (The table was functional but not at the preferred length and we only had the bench. Chairs are delayed) had he taken it we would have had no kitchen table for our family of 5. Once he broke the table too it took 12 more weeks to get a new top and the remaining chairs. Nightmare! Then when it delivers they only have 3 chairs. No table top on the truck!If you are thinking of buying furniture from Ashley furniture…..think again!

He showed us many options that all perfectly could of worked for us. When we finally made a decision James was able to make the whole check out process quick and easy!! 2022-02-22Great first time experience. We are very excited about our quality furniture that is arriving soon. The only downfall we have is that our dining room set will take approximately 12-16 weeks. But we did know this when we placed the order. We look forward to many more purchases!

2022-07-11Nick was very helpful when I went into the store. He was very knowledgeable and listened to what I was looking for and was very helpful. He was patient when I tried several ottoman options with the couch. Even when I went back with a better price I found online they price matched with no problem and I was out in 10 minutes.
