Well my experience with the Dentist and hygienist were great. I feel they did a great job. They were very nice and explained everything in detail. I just think you need to hire a few more staff members because I think people shouldn’t have to wait hrs after they have an appointment. I think to many appointments are being booked for the staff to handle. Besides that. It’s a great place.

The staff at 1803 N Loop 1604 E. San Antonio, TX was absolutely fantastic. The appointment times were very schedule friendly. The reception was very personal & professional. Once the assessment was made the Office mgr. Taylor did a fantastic job, creating a plan at a very affordable price that has made this visit to the dentist quite remarkable. I will definitely use them for all of my dental work & refer all of my friends.

Ive been coming here for YEARS, and I really dont know why. I figured out that this is a stepping stool for dentists before they get their own practice, which is why I never seem to see the same person twice.I had a tooth crowned, but they didnt take an imprint of my tooth before hand, so I have this weird shaped lump that has a huge gap between the next tooth where food loves to get stuck. Its this lovely BRIGHT WHITE that doesnt match any of my other teeth.I had my front tooth chipped 25 years ago. The filling lasted 25 years! I decided to get it touched up. IT LASTED 5 DAYS!!!!!Time to find an old school dentist.

Hands down, the absolute BEST experience this 50 year old has ever had! Full disclosure. I procrastinate when it comes to dental care. I feel embarrassed that I havent kept up with all my dental appointments, follow ups etc. Im to blame for this disaster of a train wreck mouth! A recent transplant from Southern California (totally wish I was born and raised here in Texas-Southern hospitality at its finest!). My past experiences have always been uncomfortable speaking to staff, the dental manager, and the dentist. I have to invest in complete full upper and lower implants. Regular dentures will poise an issue for me personally and I want the stability of either 4 on 1 or permanent upper and lower implants. After scouring the internet reading reviews, looking into the education of the dentists, experience etc., I saw Aspen Dentals reviews from their 1803 N 1604 location. Personally, I dont read 5 star reviews for a reason. I wanted to take 2-4 stars and average the pros and cons (1 Star reviews typically are of persons that are extremely angry and rarely express the actual issue. Rather, just post a negative comment in hopes of retaliating). That said, I clicked on the appointment site and chose a day and time that would fit into my hectic schedule. The very next day, I received a call from the office manager Sara. Sara asked very detailed questions, explained the process, answered all of my questions, and is very empathetic to my situation. I needed to extract teeth 21-27 (YIKES I know!). Sara confirmed the appointment and I went into the office the following morning. I was greeted so warmly by Monica at the front desk. Monica set my health questionnaire on a paperless iPad (amazingly easy and asks very detailed questions). Less than five minutes later, I was greeted by the Xray assistant (I honestly didnt catch her name because I was so embarrassed of my current mouth and my mind sidetracked). She asked How long since your last dental checkup? and it had been over five years. She then said the kindest thing Well welcome back and were here to assist you with your dental care. Please dont feel embarrassed were here to assist you. I almost teared up (seriously). This office has the state of the art panoramic Xray machine(Kudos!). Took several Xrays and then was led into the examination room where the chairs are extremely comfortable and they have TVs set up so you can relax and watch something to distract your possible angst and to also show you the Xrays and answer any questions. Dr. Castillo then came in and introduced herself. Dr. Castillo is a ray of light and energy. Shes very thorough explaining the processes, options, and always asks if you have any questions. We made an appointment for later that same day to extract seven (count them SEVEN!) teeth. I retuned several hours later and Dr. Castillo made sure I was comfortable. She will consistently ask you if youre in pain (shes an excellent communicator and quite funny by the way). I dont mind injections and the only time needles bother me is when I have to have them inside my mouth. To be completely honest, Dr. Castillo is a superstar. I didnt even feel the injections. She gave me plenty of Novocain and extra time for it to fully numb my mouth. Im not exaggerating, five minutes later, I thought she was working on the first tooth, and ALL SEVEN WERE EXTRACTED!! did Dr. Castillo just play a jedi mind trick on me? I didnt feel ANYTHING. No pressure, no pain, and it happened so quickly I was dumbfounded. Kudos to you Dr. Castillo. You made my experience exceptional and I had to share this with others. GO TO THIS OFFICE!! You shall NOT regret it!Phillip, MBA

I went in for the first time in pain… they were very concerned with making me comfortable..Everyone I came in contact with was very kind and considerate, the front desk, to the lady taking X-rays, hygienist and the doctor all very sweet and caring..Would recommend this place to anyone who is seeking a caring dental facility

Made an appointment for routine teeth cleaning for my daughter, but instead of providing that simple service, Aspen Dental conducted dozens of X-rays and diagnostic procedures, which they talked my daughter into while I sat in the waiting area. I am sure the reimbursement from my MetLife plan will be much greater than than it teeth cleaning. Perhaps the staff who took the appointment misunderstood, but I doubt it

Worst communication in the medical field. From wrong appointment times to setting up financing with no scheduling. I learned my lesson with Aspen Dental and other chain dentists.

Today was my first time visiting Aspen Dental. The facility was clean. The check-in process was paperless and smooth. The staffs were insightful and friendly. During the consultation, my X-ray was displayed on a screen for me. This made it easy for me to follow the doctors explanation and ask any clarifying questions. Dr. Obah and her team are very knowledgeable and kind. I think I have found my new dental provider.

Aspen Dental really went above and beyond with me. After the recent incident that I experienced they were able to transfer the paperwork and give me a new dentist and location. Everyone was so kind! Extremely knowledgeable and informative about the entire process. From the hygienist explaining what she’s looking at and what the process to start the treatment to the dentist showing my on my x-rays different areas and what’s the game plan. I am definitely looking forward to start the plan and to be back soon. Thank you guys.
