AT&T Store in other cities:
Maribel Hernandez was incredible of getting us in the correct direction of what we needed and plus helped our granddaughter get everything set up.Had to show back up, a gentleman started and got us fixed up, and Maribel seen us in there, and walked over to make sure we was set up.Awesome store in Bastrop
I came into AT&T because I had received an email from AT&T about an upgrade promotion for my phone. The first lady I spoke with at AT&T didnt know about the promotion, but Nathan came over to help me and was very knowledgeable. He was able to get the promotion details figured out and help me pick out the best phone for me. He even made sure to help me pick out the right phone with the right amount of memory. Then he helped me with my husbands phone as well. Nathan was one of the best, if not the best, AT&T rep Ive ever dealt with!
I came into AT&T to check on an upgrade and try to fix an issue I was having with my old phone. The reprentative help me get the best deal I could get on a new phone. He was very knowledgeable and had very good customer service skills. Very professional in the way he handled himself.
Huge Kudos to Maria (Marcy) Ryan! Marcy is knowledgeable, honest, and hard working. We spent 4 hours waiting for someone to help us resolve an issue and had it not been for Marcy, we would still be there! As someone who used to work in Silicon Valley, I’ve had the pleasure of working with exceptional managers and I’m truly surprised that she’s not the one running this store. Huge Huge Kudos!Additionally, I’d like to give a kudos to Colton Hines. Despite not being able to help us resolve the issue, he was willing to help us.Lastly, I’d love to leave some constructive criticism for the store manager, Sebio. The manner in which you conducted yourself was very unprofessional. You work in the service industry and it’s important to be able to adapt with the times. Unfortunately, you weren’t up to willing to listen or learn, much less prepared. You acted in a condescending manner. The irony in all of this is that I used to work closely with Google and Apple Phone Developers. Please remember that a title doesn’t mean anything and it doesn’t make a person. I truly believe that Colton Hines and Maria Ryan are more capable of running a better functioning store. If they had helped me from the beginning, I wouldn’t be leaving AT&T today. Additionally, I wouldn’t be leaving 5 stars if they hadn’t helped me.
I told the young lady work there I wanted to buy a phone. So I signed in and waited a hour. then the lady tes me she cant sell me the phone I would have to be pur on a payment plan. I told her I can pay it now she said she was going to ask a manager. 45 min later in still waiting. I walk out totally unprofessional . Worker hiding in the back not attending customers
We made an appointment and we did not have to wait despite others waiting. I was so pleased they honored our appointment time! Appointments are the way to go!Cesar was the associate that worked with us. He was extremely knowledgeable, very polite and very patient as I asked tons of questions! This is the second time we have purchased new phones at this location and we always leave happy! This store is doing everything right as far as I can tell!
We had some very complicated plan switch issues when we changed from another provider to AT&T and our sales associate Robert Graham was a huge help to us!! He patiently walked us through each step being very transparent with us about the prices including how much taxes would be and he always advocated for us to get the best deals and discounts. What could had ended in a very frustrating morning ended with two very satisfied customers and we are just so grateful to Robert for his patient and kind help! We plan to go back to the store in about a month to meet with Robert again and purchase some new phones. Thank you Robert for helping us!
Kameryn was able to take care of every request I had and the telephone agents were unable to do. She assisted with additional services and discounts which was a bonus. After hours of frustration on the phone with AT&T, she satisfactorily met all my needs. She was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Giving this place five stars because Maria Ryan is a go above and beyond employee. Went in today to fix an issue I had already wasted hours on the phone trying to handle to no avail. Maria was more than happy to tackle my problem. She handled the call center customer service reps like a pro, never getting annoyed when they messed up, just calmly calling back and trying again. My issue took a really long time to resolve and she had a great attitude the entire time. 10/10 would recommend seeing her at this store.
I never thought a company like AT&T could have such a lousy and terrible service, specially with elderly people. I’m 72 years old, several heart surgeries and a spine surgery 5 days before the “incident”. I let the manager Andrew and sales lady Kameryn Gonzales know about my recent surgery. I went for a trade in. After all paper work was done, they had offered to help me with transferring data. They made me wait almost 3 hours, YES, THREE HOURS. I talked to the Manager Andrew SEVERAL times, he just ignored me, I asked another guy, Colton, to help me, he ALSO ignored me. When I found Kameryn again, she had already another customer, she apologized and went behind the back door. Didn’t see her again. I couldn’t sit there any longer, pain level ea s too high. I just left.Unbelievable BAD customer service.
I went to this Location after my Machete et Me were Helping a Lady Friend clear Some Brush out in Wyldwood. Whilst there my SIM Card was Deactivated... Walked in was Assisted Immediately. The SIM issue took a Return Visit, each time the Same Fella helped me Out and I left with a Working SIM card. Five Stars. 5 ✨
I made an appt at ATT Bastrop, Tx to purchase new phone. Waited only a couple minutes before someone helped me which was super awesome! 😁 Purchased the 12Pro Max & LOVE it! The staff at the Bastrop, Texas store were extremely friendly, patient, knowledgeable & helpful with all the clients.
First off, I want to say I have used this store for years and never had anything but stellar service. Not sure who is running the place now but Im looking to switch carriers altogether over this ordeal. In Sept. I wanted to add a line and there was an online promo for an iphone for $1.00 a month, where you order online and pick up your phone curbside at the store. I tried numerous times via computer and phone to order online and it wasnt working so I went into the store and asked them about it. They initially said this was an online offer only and the same deal was $10 a month through the store. He said they had the phone in stock so if I could do the online order for curbside hed just go back and get it. I explained it was not allowing me to do so online and he gave me an in-store tablet and we tried on their device to do it online and tried again on my phone and it still wasnt working. So the sales rep. got with the manager who said they would honor the $1 a month deal since there were system issues. They initially said that it would show $10 a month on my bill and that after 30 days (a necessary waiting period so they could ensure I didnt return the phone) I should come back and they would give me a one time credit of $9x30 installments for a total of $270 credit all at once to make up for the difference. I waited 30 days and went back in and they said they would submit the credit request to the manager. I waited and nothing. I contacted the store numerous times and was told each time it was waiting on manager approval. Then I was told that it had been escalated with AT&T directly and they were waiting on them and that now it would not be a one time lump sum credit as I was previously told but a monthly credit. I said fine, I waited again and nothing and I contacted the store and was told its being worked on and youll get the credit when you get it. I then contacted AT&T directly and got the resolution team. In December they called me back and said they had approved the credit and it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles to show. Fast forward to March and still nothing. I chat with AT&T online who tells me I didnt buy online and $10 is the right charge and that I wont get the credit. I explain a ticket was already opened and approved and that I was assured they would honor the deal and they said they cannot help me and I cannot reopen or re-escalate another ticket on the same issue. So I dig through my phone and find the ticket number and phone number to the resolution team and contact them and I am told they will open another ticket to fix it. FIVE MONTHS and still not resolved. Hours of my time on the phone and chat reexplaining the whole scenario over and over again only to be lied to repeatedly and pushed off. A $270 difference may not be much to AT&T or the local store but its a lot to me when I already pay them a small fortune for service. All I have gotten is rude responses and the run around and apparently their word is not any good so beware and dont make any deals with them.UPDATE 03/09/2021: After my last call to reopen the ticket and my complaint here, I finally show a $270 credit, Im not sure who is responsible for the credit, AT&T or the store but Im thankful its finally resolved.
Marcy was AMAZING!!!She is incredibly knowledgeable, super friendly and just an overall ray of sunshine!!I was on the the fence about which iPhone to purchase and she didn’t make me feel rushed or obligated to make a purchase right then and there. Marcy was very patient and thoroughly explained the difference between all of the specs and broke down my policy for me.She also explained why insurance is so so imperative in the most sweetest and non-pushy manner I’ve ever seen from a sales rep in my life! I literally felt like I was making a purchase at home in my backyard with an old friend. Truly an incredible customer service experience! This woman has an impeccable knack and a true gift for sales.I’m not very sure how high up she is in the company, but Marcy really should be head honcho of the Bastrop branch in my opinion if she isn’t already, or directly under at the very very least. Those once in a blue moon sales reps seem almost impossible to come across these days.
Cesar and Colton really went above and beyond to help me out! Cesar was kind enough to continue building my SIM cards while I was able to go back to work so I didnt have to sit waiting on them. Later, my tablets would not find data. Cesar had me drop all of my tablets and both he and Colton got them working for me! They saved me so much time and it was very much appreciated!! Wonderful customer service, I highly recommend!!
Marcy has helped me for years at this store. Always very knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone at this store is always nice. Decent selection of accessories in the store and they’re across from bestbuy if you need something they don’t have. Great location if looking for your next phone/accessory.
I was on a Timed lunch break and I told the attendant that whenever she asked me for my information. All I needed to do was get the email associated with my account. She asked me what brought me in today and I told her that. She proceeded to take my phone number and my name which brought up my account information. I saw other information that I did not give her on her tablet she was holding sideways. instead of just giving me the information I needed very quickly and letting me leave she told me I would have to wait.
I went in around 7:30 on a Monday evening to get a new SIM card for an unlocked phone I did not purchase through AT&T. I was wondering if there might be any attitude about me having a phone I didnt purchase through them. The young gentleman was super friendly and complimented me on my shirt. I didnt get any hint of judgement being passed in any way. I really appreciated his easy going ways and his quick and friendly service. I didnt get his name, but he alone is a reason I will continue to stay with AT&T. Thank you 👏
I was waited on in about 10 minutes, the sales guy was really helpful. Took time to find really good specials on a new phone. Set up a new account, and I was out in about 15 minutes. When I use T Mobile it is like going to the car dealership. I was happy with my experience at this particular store.
Top notch employees here. Very professional and knowledgeable. Unfortunately they spend a lot of time fixing errors that were caused by ATT phone help. Good thing for all of us loyal customers that they are patient and see our complex problems through to successful resolution.
Great service. Limited but acceptable inventory. Back to school sale helped my wallet out a lot. Very knowledgeable staff, with an abundance of patience. New phone purchases are generally a pain for me. However, they made it as painless as possible, and actually fun. Reccomend this place highly.
This has been a fiasco. I signed up for service in January and since then have spent several hours on the phone with att customer service with no help offered at all. My bill has never been what they said it would be, agents have told me one thing and not done it, they signed us up in the store for a plan we didn’t want and then charged us a fee to put it right...long story short they do not value long-standing customers nearly as much as new customers (which they only pretend to value). Every agent has admitted and apologized for terrible business systems and practices but have done nothing to fix it. Oh and they deceptively locked us into service so that we can’t walk away. Do not do business here.
Great new plans for unlimited everything. Just got another tablet and the price to add on a data plan is super! The military discount rocks! Caesar is uber helpful and can explain services and devices extensively. No waiting if you pick off-peak times to browse the new selections.
Lousy customer service by the manager there....the sales associates were helpful and friendly at first (so was the manager) anyways, I went in trying to return some smart watches I had brought there for the lines in my contract because they we charging me an insane amount of money just for activation fees on all smart watches when I was ONLY told that each smart watch was 99 cents plus $10 a month in every bill cycle until my contract was over. She said I could not return them that I only had 14 days to return them back and so I waited to long to return them so she told me I should sell them....so I call 611 in front of her and she just stood up and walked away from the table they were attending me at and no one else attended me. They just left there alone on the table while I was on the phone with AT&T customer service.
We had a very wonderful experience here. We were serviced immediately. They answer any and all of our questions in a very understanding way. It took awhile to finish our service transfer but nothing they couldnt handle. They made sure we were all set before we left. Thank you for the experience here AT&T employees you are awesome.
I think the customer service in the store is truly great. HOWEVER- this store NEVER answers the phone (and I mean NEVER) and there is no option to leave a message. Also, I was told I had two weeks to return any accessories- the glass screen protector is faulty and started to crack around the edge after less than 24 hours of buying it (I didn’t drop the phone) cutting my thumb, and when I went in to the store, I was told I had to deal with the manufacturer directly. I believe all of that info needs to be told to the customer up front when purchasing. I spent $45 on this screen protector, and now the manufacturer wants to charge me $7 shipping for something that isn’t even my fault. If I feel they address my needs on this, I will raise my rating. Until then, I have no choice. You guys really need to answer your phone.
Ive used this store for many years and after another particularly awful experience I am writing this review. The vast majority of staff does not have knowledge about the products they sell but will pretend they do to trick you into buying something you dont need. The staff cannot help with basic issues and will instead try to sell you a new product instead of fixing the problem.Often a staff member has told me they are knowledgeable about the phone I have and can help me, but instead just damaged the phone or made the problem worse. The store is always very busy, frequently understaffed, and the employees will try to get you to leave without helping you unless you are extremely persistent.I truly dread every time I have to come to this place.
Incompetence on a thorough and continuing basis. Every issue. Every time. No ownership of issues, no help with resolution. The manager hides when he sees me, leaving his staff to try to help. I will give Priscilla 5 stars for personal service and dedication. She is very conscientious and helpful, she just has the misfortune of working for a grossly mismanaged company.
My husbands phone died so he went into this AT&T store to get a replacement. He could not get any assistance. They just looked at him like he was from another planet and then made him feel that they thought he was going to steal something. I am from Bastrop and cannot believe that people would act like that. My husband and I will never go into that store.
Even though I braced myself for cell phone hell, the flames darn near consumed me. 10AM arrival and the place was understaffed for the amount of customers in the store, resulting in a painful wait. How many times can one peruse every electronic item in the store before your name is called? For me, it was 11. Thats a lot of circles punching buttons, looking at screens, comparing, etc. Im giving the store three stars because two more employees showed up and lessened the wait. Also, the gentleman that helped me was knowledgeable about the product and spit on the cell phone flames enough that by the time I left, I no longer wanted to punch something. Kudos for that.
I want to give a shout out to the Assistant Store Manager, Tim Gauna. I was in need of a replacement phone for my business line. The phone I needed was not in stock at the Bastrop location so he graciously volunteered to pick one up in Austin the next day on his day off. Tim saved the day! Great customer service!
This is the repair facility I had to take my iPhone to have the battery replaced. You make the appointment over the phone and just show up. Before you know it your phone has a new battery and you are in your car going home. That simple. Other service centers should adopt AT&T’s way of operating.
Took my Nighthawk Mobile Hot Spot Router in to the store because it quit working within 3 months of purchasing. Was covered under warranty. Told new one would be arriving within 5 - 6 days....3 weeks later still have not received it! I do not want to have to take a thirty minute drive just to talk to staff about the problem because they refuse to answer the phone at the store. Not a Happy Camper at the moment! ATT is starting to really.......well you get the idea!
Had wonderful service, prompt attention, answered my questions, assisted, with programming issues even though not bought at that store. La grange AT&T store was rude, wouldnt sell me a new Go phone unless I got a new number. Ill never go back to La grange store. This is the second time Bastrop gave excellent service on both visits.
If there were 0 stars, thats what I would have chosen.I explained to the sales clerk that my phone has been dying often and I suppose that may be because its an older phone running the updated software. She asked me no questions, just said she had developed a plan for me based on my usage and that the new phone (again, she never asked me what kind of phone I might want) would cost $750 and I would pay it out over 30 months. She stated there was no contract option and that all carriers are now doing this. I told her I wasnt ready to buy a new phone until I was sure that I needed one. She again said all carriers are using the same protocol, still not listening to what I was explaining.I got home, went online and found that the phone I wanted, with a 2 year contract is less than half the quoted amount.
Walked in looking to get a new phone, store was dead - no customers - all 3 employees were gathered at a table having social hour, and did not want to be interrupted... Im not even sure they looked up when I walked in... so I walked around looking interested... Thinking someone might ask me if I needed help, but no such luck, so I left. Where is Sam, shes the only helpful person in that store.
I purchased a Netgear Nighthawk at the listed, discounted price. I came back a week later to purchased another. The listed sales price was still on the tag, but the manager refused to honor said price, and wanted to charge full price.Ended up leaving the store and drove into Austin, where the manager was able to make the necessary price adjustment. Will not be visiting Bastrop AT&T again any time soon.
Went in, was greeted at the door, told how long the wait would be (wasnt more than 15 minutes) and everyone I spoke with there was intelligent and knew exactly what they were talking about. If I asked a question that my rep didnt have an answer for, he was honest, told me he wasnt quite sure, and ran off to collect someone with the answer. For me, its important that if you dont know the answer, you at least know how to find it. Id recommend this location to anyone.
The people at this store are condescending, rude and unhelpful. Their only goal is to sell you as much expensive gear as possible. They never answer the phone either as its more important for them to be chatting with each other. They dont want to HELP people, only SELL to them! Awful service. Very close to going to Verizon!
Walked in. No greeting. Obviously they all representatives were busy so I sat and waited. Ten minutes later, another customer walks in. They get greeted by an already occupied representative and even asked if they need help. This store needs to work on customer relations.

2022-02-04I am in a town for a month where I have no signal with my carrier and at&t has signal. I went into the store to switch service just for the month until I leave. I was very assertive and crystal clear with my objective and I was given the run around a couple of times. The representative pitched a phone sale (I told him I wasnt interested before the pitch, during, and after). I literally said, verbatim, Im going to keep my phone, regardless of any deal or offer you tell me about. Im not going to get a new phone. Its like I wasnt heard. I understand sales and quotas and all (Ive been worked in the industry) but I almost just left the store because I was there to get help with one thing and was pressed to do other things entirely. Last, when I told him I wanted the most basic and cheapest plan, again its like he didnt hear me and he kept pitching me on the more expensive plan. He was not informing me of other plans or options at all. I saw his tablet screen and noticed there were other options to which he barely gave any info about and I had to continue asking because he wasnt informing me about the other service options. People come to the store for help, not to be convinced of something. Start by listening and offering real solutions to peoples problems and concerns, not giving solutions for unneeded services or products. This is the most off putting type of customer service to me and I know Im not alone. After all of this, it was quite simple for them to just do what I came in the store to get done and they finally did it.

2022-05-03This store is always packed. And I’ve always had to wait a long time. Here I sit. Again. 😞 and they’re playing Latin music over the loudspeaker 🎶 SO ANNOYING 😣. The manager is Hispanic and shows preference over Latino customers. Again, SO ANNOYING. I’mgoing to find an alternate location to service my AT&T & Direct TV needs. This music.. and extraordinarily long wait...is just too much.

2022-04-06We came to the store and Cory waited on us. She helped my dad and was extremely patient. She did not push him to buy a new cellphone. She had excellent customer service skills.

2022-03-15Marcy R. at the Bastrop locations was fantastic in every way, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and extremely helpful! AT&T should be proud and consider themselves fortunate to have her. I wish would have come to this location first as opposed to the several others I was at previously. Thank you Marcy!🤗

2022-02-10I had a terrible experience at AT&T. I spent a combined three hours at the store before I finally got my phones set up. I wasted a lot of time working with Joseph to speed up the process of creating a new account before returning with my wife and two small kids. We had our own phones and needed phone plans. When I returned to the store with my family, what should have been a quick turn around ended up being a nightmare. Joseph had a hard time figuring things out. He wasted a lot of time during the porting process because he entered the incorrect account number. He didn’t seem proficient at his job. He recommended getting AARP for additional discounts, but he had no idea what AARP was or what benefits it offers. He also had no clue the phone needed to be restarted after the porting process; I had to tell him after the phones didn’t work. He didn’t know what a speed test was. He barely knew anything. Even though Joseph sucked at his job he was nice to me and my wife and that’s why I left a two star rating.

2022-01-16Kevin R. Was the best sales rep I could have asked for. Accommodated my needs for a hotspot plan quickly and promptly. He went above and beyond to make sure that the hardware I brought in would work with the plan. Best experience at a phone store hands down.

2022-07-10Terrible customer service came in took a seat and waited 20 minutes no one even asked or acknowledged my presence.
