I absolutely love my new apartment and the beautiful appliances, new paint and flooring are awesome. The complex is nice and quiet as well, and the manager, Cheryl is friendly and professional. She is right on top of anything needing work.

My husband and I moved in about 4 years ago and currently still reside here, and at that time the maintenance and management were not the best but since the current manager has been here we have never really had any problems with her. Yes the property has gone through a few maintenance men since we have been here but that is not a big deal to me because the latest one is doing just fine and works really hard and fast. The neighbors for the most part are awesome but we have had some really crappy ones here, currently I love my neighbors they are great. I live here because I am comfortable and dont want to try to find a place where the management only cares about filling up the vacant apartments. Cheryl (the manager) is awesome and when and if my husband and I move I know we will greatly miss her and that she will be able to provide a great recommendation for us. Thank you Cheryl for always assisting us in any problems that we have.

Resident • 2019 Not RecommendedThis is my experience. Judge for yourself. I have lived here for 19 days. When I was signing the lease, the manager gave me the pest control schedule. I asked her what kind of pests they have, and she said, None. I moved in and found that there is a terrible roach infestation. I notified the manager 2 days later and her response was, Well it was treated Thursday. She later texted that she would put my apartment down for treatment in 10 days. The exterminator did not show on that date. One morning I killed 10 before work. Twice they have crawled on me in bed. Because of the roaches, I have not cooked the entire time Ive been in the apartment.

Great place to stay. There are an assortment of types of apartments and sizes. Ive been here for a year and a half and have just signed a lease to be here for another year. The manager is great and is willing to work with us when things come up and the maintenance is always ready when something needs to be taken care of. I would definitely recommend this set of apartments to others wanting to stay in Athens.

Ive had the pleasure of living in the Athena Gardens Apartments for nearly six years. Since my arrival, Ive always felt safe and well cared for. Cheryl, the property manager,has and always has been warm, courteous, and professional. She actually listens to her tenants and provides assistance as needed. The Maintenance Man, Lalo, is also very courteous and efficient. I believe he could actually build an apartment if necessary. These are just some of the things that make “The Garden” such a great place to live.Alan Amos

Im a college student that has struggled with things here and there, yet the manager is amazing, understanding, and helpful. The people here are chill and kind. Everyone minds their own business for the most part and we occasionally have good conversations with people.

I absolutely love it here. The property is always taken care of and I have no issues out of anyone. Cheryl has always made sure things are taken of. I definitely appreciate her always being so nice. She rocks!

Nice place to live, but some folks that live there are rude. If I can deal with your nailing stuff to the adjacent wall without warning, you can handle me singing away some sorrow on a rainy morning. Its just singing. Its not Idol quality, but it wasnt annoying. They were just being dour people.

Its always very clean and quiet the manager is super nice. Was always there if anything went wrong in the apartment. The location is perfect being in town and I like its pet friendly.

I have lived at these apartments for almost two years, the management is great and the maintenance gets things fixed fast.
