This company of realtors is absolutely phenomenal!Courtney Jenkins is the property manager of Augusta, and is exceptionally great with not only ensuring your quality of receiving the right home youre looking for -- but even had a beautiful heart-of-gold by assisting my family and I, during the entirety of our lease in 2019 during an epic financial crisis.Tasha, also, is a new realtor who just recently joined the Augusta Realtors family, and is abundantly patient and helpful with everything she does with her work in the front office! Ive been with Augusta for over a year and never even spoken with Tasha before her transition of employment with another property management company. But she handled my questions and concerns with care, and exceeded beyond my expectations of what customer service should look like, as far as being on the receiving end of it! Yet, shes only been with Augusta for merely a month, and went above and beyond when it wasnt even asked of her!As well as Jamie, who made it her mission to tend to all my maintenance service requests; by checking in with me constantly throughout the day via email, to ensure I received the best quality of service as efficiently as possible! You wont be disappointed if you decide to lease or rent-to-own a home with this company.Augusta Realtors only continues to only add to their level of greatness and professionalism by becoming more and more adamant for their passion of working in property management. Augusta Realtors was tough to work mainly because of the process of getting the house. So when I moved into the house or should I say was trying to during the summer.No one would come meet us there to even let us in so we had to look in the window just to see inside. Guess everyone must have been busy that day.There was no central AC except a very old window unit in the bedroom (no one mentioned that during the leasing process) Repairs would go months without being fixed, I think I had a broken window in the bedroom from August till Christmas. Once again it appears everyone was busy that day and every day for 4 months.Every time I went to the office to report things everyone except for a lady named Krysta was impeccably rude and acted like I competely wasted their time.PS the heater didn’t work either so I had to buy space heaters because the maintenance must have been swamped for 3 months... during the winter. Guess it’s hard to get a break out here.I would avoid these people if you can.
Those apartments are a real mess,nothing works,the AC always has problems,every day they cut the water.The roof falls down,nobody pays attention,you go and complain in the office and they never have workers who know to fix the problem, but if they charge you too much rent, its ridiculous, I think the owner should pay attention to that and with so much income they receive every month fix things and not just take the money in the bag. I thing you have to make a complaint whit some one other than the owner or manager because it is seen that they do nothing to solve it.My mother lives in the apartment 253 and since last year she told them that the ceiling of the bathroom and the kitchen was falling down and until now they have not fixed it because they do not have anyone to do it that. STUPID ANSWER ...
During our 1 year renting from Augusta we decided never again. We moved from far away so we had to pick a place without seeing it first. When we moved in the place was a disaster. There was a good millimeter of dust on the walls, grease splatter on the kitchen wall, urine in the toilet, mold on the toilet seat. There were hundreds of bugs in the house. When we moved in in July, the AC was broken and the hot water heater wasnt working. We put in a work order to get it fixed and it took 1 week to get it fixed. Later in the year, mice somehow got into the house and walls. We started finding mouse poop IN the drawers of our kitchen, so we put in a work order for that. We made sure there was no food left out or in the pantry, but still in the 3 weeks it took someone to come help, we killed 50 mice. The next summer came around and the AC wasnt working again. We put in a work order for that. It took 3 weeks for it to get fixed. We left that town house in better shape than it had been in years, and we got less than 10% of our deposit back. Needless to say I would say STAY AWAY! They were annoyed every time we followed up on a work order that had been in for weeks, and were difficult to deal with.
Ive had my apartment building managed by Augusta Realtors for about a year and have had a roller coaster relationship with them. To their credit, they helped me to turn it around to a degree but unfortunately I only had 2 cashflow positive months during their 11 months of management. However, the most significant problems that Ive experienced with them have been related to poor communication and slow responsiveness. Im an out of town owner and when I reported know issues with the property that required rapid attention it would take multiple conversations and weeks to get a response. They were decent during the sale of the property however once the property sold and they continued to manage it Ive gotten very poor response concerning settling our account, and now its been more than a month since the sale, and they have withheld my $1700 reserve without explanation and wont currently respond to multiple phone, email or text. Thats just not acceptable.
I Moved into Wind chase Village wich is an Augusta Realtors complex.To start they had more than a month to prepare my apartment, i want a 1st floor due to having minors and seizures disorder, but No!! They made me take one in a second floor with Balcony, that it is falling apart!! Cause you cant use it, due to all the planks being rotten, and metal rods missing out of the little balcony, to this day the whole apartment it is still incomplete, they didnt cleaned it. I had to do it( wich resulted on me getting bronchitis) ceiling fans that are throwing sparks cause they are wrongly wired! So i cant used them, Gabinets that are supposedly fix with silicon and staples and other stuff anything but fixed or replaced, a stove that over heats, closet with no closet door at all!!!a rug that was never cleaned, and im still waiting for them to supposedly come clean, Gabinets full dust, mold, broken blinds!!! And for this!!! They charged me a $650.00 deposit, than a month of rent another $650.00 on top of that my first month was supposed to be $450.00 due to a move in special, that they didnt want to honor!! They have many hidden fees and are not upright about what they should be doing or charging!!!! This as been a huge disappointment!! I ask to be changed and they wouldnt even be able to do that cause now for them i have to out live my lease!!! This is some major BS
Better clean the whole place with a toothbrush if you want to see any of your deposit! Charged me $65 to replace blinds that were broken before I even moved in, charges $125 to clean the unit when a quick sweep would’ve sufficed! Might as well throw the deposit into a trash can because you won’t get it back. Guess they need the money that desperately, treat your deposit as a donation!
My husband and our two young sons moved in to their Mason Blanche complex in late June. Despite some hiccups that they foretold us about they have been wonderful. Changed out locks promptly when a key was stolen, brand new stove/oven the same day we found out ours was broken. Provided AC units when we did not have working AC and always send out texts when something is going on, or will be going on at the property. The staff is friendly, empathetic, and do everything they can to help out their renters. I highly recommend Augusta to anyone looking to rent or buy, and highly recommend Mason Blanche apartments to anyone looking for a spacious apartment, with lots of storage, all bills paid, for an affordable price.
Worst rental agency ever. Agents are incredibly rude and defensive about every situation that ever came up when we lived there. Which happened a lot. Drug their feet getting anything fixed, tried to get out of fixing EVERYTHING, when it clearly said it should be in the lease. When we arrived at our property it was a WRECK and it was clear it was never cleaned out. The window was broken and their was broken glass all over the floor. We had to clean things up drastically before we even get comfortable taking our things in there. We told them it needed cleaned from the beginning and they never did anything about it, never got back to us. If we wanted anything done, we would have to call several times to make sure it happened, and then if it did, they used a half ass maintenance company to address our concerns. Then, when it came time to move out, they had the nerve to try to keep our deposit because they needed it for a cleaning fee, when we left it in MUCH better condition than when we got it. They ended up only giving us back half. We would never recommend this agency to anyone, and made our first year in Abilene, and the whole state of Texas for that matter, much more stressful and gave us a bad impression of the community. Dont rent from them!!!!
Judy, Courtney and the rest of the Augusta Team does an AMAZING job taking care of both tenants and property owners. Working with Augusta for over 6 years we have seen them go above and beyond to get work done promptly. They really care about the tenants and take great care with their people and properties. I would HIGHLY recommend Judy and her team for finding a place to live and property management!
Love this property and the entire Augusta team! The few maintenance requests I made were addressed very quickly. The maintenance was done by Eric and his crew. The faulty ceiling fan, non functioning kitchen sink sprayer, and broken track on the sliding closet door were the issues. Even though none of these items were an emergency, it took only a day from requesting repairs to having everything fixed. The three repairs took very little time for Eric and his crew to fix. A very good experience with Augusta so far! Very professional all around!
Not even one star is worth putting up for this company! I submitted an application and was told that it would not be processed. Therefore, I requested a refund and was told I would receive one. Well due to miscommunication within this office, along with improper training, and simply being disorganized I am now being denied a refund! Which is completely unprofessional. This company has now gone against their own words with me twice! They also fail to follow up with you, not worth the time to get assistance from this company. Also the lack of confidence that Courtney Jenkins has in her team is bothersome.
I have lived at wind chase village for 4 years now and it is ridiculous the amount of negligent maintenance issue that have not been completed . Me My husband and my four children have no other option but to endure our circumstances. The first year my 9 year old son was attacked by another tenants child they did nothing in my contract it states that any violence apon residence is immediate eviction but nothing happened. I have been waiting 4 years for my sink upstairs off my daughters room to drain. I have been waiting 3 years for my 2 cupboard doors 3 drawers that fell to pieces to be repaired. I have been told for 1 year now that the shower upstairs would be fixed when used it pours brown water through my kitchen ceiling and cupboards and floods my kitchen and the wall in my daughters room is buckling in they told me that a contractor would be by and never heard anything else for a 1 year now. 6 months ago someone kicked in my front door stole me car keys and car I reported it and filled with police APD was disgusted and disappointed that the door was not safe at all ... so 3 months living with a smashed door no lock they put a door in told me they would be back with a peep hole and lock for the door still have no framing and no protection. the lack of effort to maintain my apartment on the Augusta realtors and wind chase village is so disappointing and rigorous on my family I have never broke my lease never been late a day on my 4 year residency payments and wish that they could hold up to their end of the lease or agreement what am I paying for if not the safety and well being of my family.
I moved here bout 8months ago and I love Augusta Realtors...very polite..helpful in many ways..Ms. Amber is the reason I have my job today..I called and asked a question and she told me to what I needed in order to better myself and find employment. Ms. Courtney is a great manager, always understanding, patient, and funny..just wanted to take out to say thank you to the Augusta Realtors family for all that you do...may GOD continue to bless each of you!! I would have given no stars if I was allowed to. As far as managing the apartment complex I was at, if you will view the pictures I posted then you will see how well they did that. It was trashed out in the back (where me and my company and whoever else lived on that side had to park) all the time. I had company over WHO ENDED UP GETTING STABBED WALKING TO THEIR CAR IN THE FRONT OF THE COMPLEX...Augusta didn’t do anything about it nor did they care. I had been in my “new apartment” about four days, the downstairs women had come banging on my door at 2:30AM and started throwing rocks at my window. (Yes for no reason) I called the apartments the next day and reported her, nothing happened. We had multiple other horrible encounters, which I called to report. I was told at one point “oh she was drunk and apologizes”...again nothing was done. I had locked myself out of my apartment one day and was told they couldn’t do anything...and wasn’t contacted back UNTILL I WROTE A BAD REVIEW...(3days later) I took pictures when I moved in as well as when I moved out. I put up a $500 security deposit...and at the end of my lease I gave a good 50 day notice that I would not be renting through them again. And requested to schedule a walk-through of my apartment and she declined and told me to “just take pictures” this was about 2 weeks prior to me actually moving out. I moved out the 17 and cleaned on the days I could, turning in the keys the 28, and was mailed $130 of my $500. I later learned that SOMEONE WHO WASNT EVEN ON MY LEASE got $130 (total of $260). I had also cleaned the apartment down to wiping out the fridge and cabinets...and was charged a $200 cleaning fee....Tammys excuse for the cleaning fee was “dust on the ceiling fan and walls etc” I CANT MAKE THIS STUFF UP! I HAVE EMAILS. I asked for a detailed list of what exactly they cleaned and was sent a BLANK list of what they charge for....along with pictures. Some of the pictures not even being MY APARTMENT! Tammy told me she would check on that and never got back to me till I brought it up with the BBB. I then was told I’d be refunded for the $130 sent to someone not on my lease (when I brought her the checks) and she would refund the blinds...THAT I HAD PURCHASED AND WAS CHARGED FOR BY AUGUSTA. At this point I’m tired of spending ever day I have off trying to print stuff out and make copies, waisting my gas and time. So I gave into $295 out of $500.I reached out to Tammy to “set up an appointment to ‘exchange’ checks” and was told to “just drop them in the drop box and she will take care of it” WITH HOW SHADY THEY HAVE BEEN I WAS NOT ABOUT TO DO THAT. I then told her no mam I need to schedule an appointment, I work full time but my manager is willing to work with me...she told me Monday at 10am....which was great. I get there and she wants the checks and “will give me a call when the person who signs the checks comes in” UMMM LOL NO MAM. I suggested she get with the person who signs the checks and come up with a decent date and time to where I AGAIN...could come up there and exchange checks. Tammy said that if I didn’t give them to her now she doesn’t know when or how long it would be...I DONT CARE. I needed an appointment. Tammy then rolled her eyes. And told me to have a nice day. I wrote an email putting a time stamp and info and tagged Tammy as well as Judy (her boss) and received a text within 10 minutes saying I could come and get my check signed. AUGUSTA REALTORS IS A LIVING HELL! I advise you take pics before and after and DO NOT TAKE NO AS AN ANSWER IF YOU WANT TO SCHEDULE A WALK THROUGH. I am now done with my whole year lease and it is definitely a breath of fresh air. There was only one women who worked there, Krista, she was extremely sweet, very helpful and actually concerned with my problems. She is no longer there. I wish you the best of luck if your already living there and I ADVISE CAUTION IF YOUR THINKING OF RENTING OR BUYING THROUGH THEM. And god forbid you have to talk with Tammy. She is NO HELP, VERY RUDE, and GRIMY.
Worst worst worst! They a lazy, rude, theifs! I had to harass them for 5months almost 6 to even receive a paper statement for my utilities but sure did receive charges. Theyre maintenance men broke into my patio and stole my electricity to power their lights and tools to the unit behind me for the 5hrs I was gone from my apartment. Not to mention it took 8 months for them to fix and replace my latch to the gate. There were no oven racks in my oven and they refused to cooperate and give me any so I had to buy a toaster oven just so I could bake and make meals. They are extremely defensive and hostile when confronted about anything and they love bullying their tenants. Do not waste your time or money because they will rob lie and cheat you out of every cent.
Put in a applcation with them got the big no afterwards they are very rude. add in the said they would have to call the corporate headquarters. Well within two hours got a text message not a call back saying it was denied how does Corp respond in two hours I dont believe it. But anywho glad they didnt want me most people i talked to said not to do it.
You know, I havent even moved in to my place yet. Already I am very pleased. They were very responsive and kept me updated on what listings were available. Their filter search is great, because I have two big dogs instead of small dogs and that can make a big difference. I was able to do everything online, they got e set up really fast. Very smooth so far. Thank you thank you thank you!
Do not rent from Augusta Realtors. I repeat, DO NOT RENT FROM AUGUSTA REALTORS. Too many problems that they dont fix. They are in over their heads and they just hope no one will notice. It is very noticeable. Stop accepting residents and focus on fixing the major repairs.
As an out-of-state owner, I wanted to take a moment to recognize Augusta realtors, specifically Courtney and Tammy for their help and assistance with our multifamily investment at 649 E N 18th St in Abilene.We acquired a heavy fixer that required significant investment to bring it to rentable condition. Courtney and Tammy provided assistance and guidance each step of the way, including before we had formally signed the property management agreement. They were quite literally my feet on the ground. The project encountered a number of obstacles, but both were there to help get it back in track and move it forward.They are true professionals and have gone above and beyond to help ensure that our investment is successful. I always say that choosing the right property management team either makes or breaks an investment, and I am very glad we were able to find Augusta.
If i can, i give this 0 star, i set up appointment with them to see the unit, they call me back on the appointment day and said they dont have the key. I check back with them everyday. One week later they told me that unit has been lease... what the hell is that. This realtor or agents is not truthful.
Not happy with this place!!! I called to see about any 1 bedroom apt. and I asked about $250 off 1st months rent. (I screen shot a picture of the $250.00 off 1 st rent on Augusta Realtors website. When I asked the lady on the phone ( she picked up the phone when I called Augusta Realtors)she told me that was old and they need to take that discounted offer off the website! Its your website and you should by law take the $250.00 off the rent because that FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will let everyone see the screen shot of the discount offer on the Augusta Realtors website and the Picture is time stamped and shows date!!!!!!!!! Not good False Advertisement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok so when I called back to talk with Office Manager she was not there and wouldnt be in the office until 9/ 9:30am. I was scheduled to view a house this morning and no one ever showed. We even waited until 15 min after our scheduled time and still nothing. Then this afternoon I spoke to the manager who sat there and was extremely rude and unhelpful quote is this a practical joke no one would be that upset after a missed appointment Im upset because my time was wasted, I drove 20 min out of the way just to view the house, and my husband was nearly late for work! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS AGENCY!
Well they have a maintenance number and for after hours they tell you to leave a message but you cant because its playing elevator music and then goes right back to the directory...my automatic garage door came crashing down almost on top of me and tried to call to set something up...now gotta wait till they open...hope they respond before I go to work...

2022-06-13Would never suggest renting from this company. We have had nothing but problems from the get go. Constant maintenance issues that the landlords try to push off on the owner. When we first moved in our master bathroom had a plumbing issue and wasnt resolved for 4 months. The final product looks like something my 9 year old son could have done better on. Fast forward a year and we are in week 3 of no air conditioning during one of the hottest summers we have had in three years and all they can tell us is that they cant get ahold of the owner. I know we havent always been on time with rent, but we have always paid when it comes down to it. Unfortunately the housing market right now is in the pipes or we definitely would NOT be living here. Wouldnt suggest looking at any of there houses as they are all in the same condition or worse. Those words were from their own maintenance when they came to fix my plumbing. Father of 4.

2022-06-09Multiple months of it leaking to the point the roof was falling in I notified them for 3 months about the issues the allegedly sent someone and refused to fix the issue. These are not good people and are terrible one lords

2021-12-11Personally Ive had nothing but problems with Augusta Realtors, Ive been in this apartment two years now and maintenance has had to come to my place twice for repairs and both times they werent able to fix either issue.This apartment complex is literally unstable ! Just like the apartment building in Florida, this building could collapse at any given moment.This building is actually separating! Theres deep cracks everywhere!!The foundation,the exterior brick,the concrete walkways leading to each apartment, the majority of the 4x4s that support the overhead roof are waterlogged and rotten. As God as my witness, this apartment complex should be condemned.And thats the honest to God truth. Doug Martin.

2021-07-14So I have a pending felony I talked to a female a couple weeks ago about it she said it shouldn’t effect my application at all… just to find out they lied… I called today to find out my application was denied I make over 2,000 a month and the house I was wanting to rent was 725 a month I made double if not more than that amount in just a month and the girl Shelby I just talked to told me she has been working there for 4 years and That “All the years I’ve been here I have not seen them approve anybody with pending or non pending felony’s and not only that but the owner of the houses wouldn’t even approve.” So how’s that if I called a couple weeks ago sounds like a discrimination to me? Ontop of that the lady at the front desk heather said she emailed her boss and said she would call me in a hour to see if the boss is even going to let me get the house… I have excellent credit history and excellent rental history and obviously if Shelby is going to decline me surely the boss will too and obviously this exposing post is going to be sitting here until something gets fixed it’s sad to read previous posts on here and see some of them don’t even get a response what makes me more mad is to know I lost 45$ on a rental application and to know I had got lied to so anybody who see’s this go to remax or go to a different real estate agency because apparently it’s a runaround and it’s funny to them to take peoples money. 2021-08-13What constitutes as an emergency to the state of Texas in Tenant rights does not apparently apply to this company. The first issue was the hot water heater after several phone calls and text msgs I was finally able to have a maintenance guy over, now my drain is stopped up and the toilet is leaking and the sink spits water up from the drain and I cant get a response, oh and I had an electrical breaker pop off and spark and a day later another sparked its been over 48nhrs since that was reported and absolutely nothing has been done about anything other than the water heater. My 8 month old is not able to take a bath bc of the plumbing issue.....will never rent from these people again.

2020-10-21They get a star for having a couple cheap rentals. I was a tenant for years. The service was never great, but they got the job done eventually. Representatives were mainly rude except for one lady. Do not expect your deposit back despite your best efforts to meet their checkout standards, they want new blind and bulbs and have extreme clean standards. I still have the video from when I moved in, it was not spic and span. Their cleaner does not do a good job, or their crew may have left a mess after he or she went because there was sticky stuff all over the bathroom door (I know the new tenant). No contact was made regarding the charges mailed to us, just a bill.
