The instructors here are fantastic and genuinely care about what they do. The teaching environment is very conducive for learning from all levels, and the classes are taught with a good instructor/student ratio. If youre looking to learn how to (safely) fight your friends, this is the place to do it ✌️

Anna, Anthony and Andreas are all excellent instructors and good people as well. I look forward to trying their class for myself. I know my son had a great time.

I wasnt able to complete the class unfortunately, for personal reasons. However, every interaction I had via, email, phone, and in person was pretty fantastic. Everyone was super positive, friendly, accommodating, and of course knowledgeable. I wish I could have completed the class since it was fantastic for not just learning sword skills but defense as well. As a 4 foot 11 woman can you imagine how helpful that is?! The short amount of time I spent in the class definitely gave me a confidence boost. If youre on the fence for taking a class here, I say do it! Its totally worth it. Thank you Austin Historical Weapons Guild staff!

If I could quit my job and just practice HEMA with Anna and Anthony all day, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Worth all the gold in the world.
