WONDERFUL. Wide selection, amazing prices, and the delightful salesperson Ace was sweet and helpful. I got 2 pairs of name brand(Lucky & Abercrombie) capris, 1 half off ($4) & 1 for $1!!!

Love love love this thrift shop! They had a 50% everything. Friendly customer service, access to a fitting room, & great quality clothes and items. It’s a bonus when this store supports a great cause 🐾, will be returning!

I stopped into this thrift store for the first about 30 minutes before it closed. I wish I came in earlier. I completely underestimated how cool it would be! First thing, the shop was very organized and easy to navigate. Secondly, the pricing structure is the best! Every type of article of clothing has a different price. For example, all shirts/tops are $5. All shoes are $8... Etc. And there are some really amazing finds. Remember, all of these proceeds are going to Austin Pets Alive! So naturally, all the volunteers are great people who love animals.I got a considerabally large amount of stuff after only being there for 30 minutes. And all I was thinking was how I found a new Austin thrift gem, and I didnt want to tell any of my friends about it... So I could keep it to myself as long as possible. But thats just silly, because the clothes rotates so quickly. And again, 100% of the proceeds go to animals in need!! Instead of going to Goodwill or ...any other thrift store, for that matter. Donate and shop here! Not just for the animals, but for your own closet as well :)

First time coming here and it was an amazing experience. All staff is super friendly and the finds are gold at an extremely reasonable price. Best thing is ...100% of profits go to our furry friends 🐾💕

This place is great. They have amazing unique finds, and great everyday stuff too. I scored this vintage 1950s letter jacket, from Travis High School, as well as a vintage wool WW2 Nurses Cape. My only complaint - they used to have a plus size rack, and now its all mixed in. Id really like them to bring it back, its a bummer looking through racks of clothes and getting your hopes up in an attempt to find one thing that will maybe fit.

This used to be the best thrift store in town; the prices are about triple what they used to be, and the selection isnt near as good. Used to come here for two hours and leave with twenty things for $60, now I come for fifteen minutes and leave with four things for $60. If it was just a thrift store, it would be 2 stars, but I do love that it supports the shelter. Sad that it isnt what it used to be, but it got a lot worse very quickly.

Shopping at APA Thrift is THE BEST. Its a win win. Great deals for YOU, shopping for secondhand items is great for the environment, and most importantly, all net profits go directly to support the wonderful organization that is Austin Pets Alive! You can find some unreal deals at APA Thrift. Their products are carefully curated. I found a 1996 model white Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer at this store with all original attachments, in excellent working condition for $59!!! I also purchased an entire winter wardrobe here for $60. Including boots, sweaters, and soooo many tops. This Oltorf location is extremely well organized. They have a great little boutique section for women so be sure to check that out.I make it a point to donate all of my best clothing and housewares to APA Thrift instead of trying to sell on Poshmark, Ebay, etc. The animals are worth it.

When I first came to this place I loved it and decided to go shopping there again.. Honestly I regret going there again.. Ive never experienced so much unwelcoming, disrespect, uncomfortable, and how much they judged my friend and I both. To go to place I thought would help get my mind off medical problems... the way my friend and I were followed around and how we were stalked and hovered over was overboard because there was no reason for that when we had money to buy things there. When it lead to side comments made by two to three employees along with customers was uncalled for. An to go by how we dress was crossing the line..I may dress in ways of ripped jeans and vintage band shirt and Native American woman but that doesnt mean Im homeless or someone to down grade like Im not apart of this country...see What they failed to realize judging a book by its cover is allowing the eyes to be useless, leaving the mind blind. Returning to this place or telling anyone they should go is not even a thought but I will let ones who speak or ask about it, and let them know how they behave before they experience anything like that of how ill-advised these employees can be and act.

The staff was lovely and I found a pair of shorts that fit just right for $3! Cant beat it. And the cute lil pup emoji is there for playful cuddles. Proceeds go to helping out animals, get around it 😊👌🏼

Great finds! Decent prices. Its a little small and product is everywhere, but if you are willing to sift through the product you can find real gems. They even have a boutique section!
