I’ve been training with Sierra for 9 months! I lift for strength, explosiveness and vertical. I play beach volleyball, and ever since training with Sierra I have noticed an increase in power and a higher level of play. Sierra is always very kind, funny, supportive and makes sure your form is perfect to optimize every exercise! :)
Our daughter needed a trainer to help her prepare for her sophomore year of college lacrosse and Sierra has been wonderful. Even after a year of Division I strength and conditioning, my daughter feels like Sierra has helped her more in two months than she could have ever hoped for with an emphasis on great technique and working in the areas that will help improve her performance on the field and protect her from injury.
Training with Sierra has been a really good experience. In just a few weeks I’m already feeling a lot stronger and I’m able to do workouts that I haven’t been able to do before. As a college lacrosse player, training with her has made me feel more prepared for my fall season.
We love it here. Simple as that. My wife and I started sessions with Eric back in the Fall of last year. We do a double session where he trains both of us at the same time. Hes fantastic, his vibe, work ethic and way of interacting and challenging us has been most of the reason weve remained inspired and why we keep coming back. Also, most of the time hell train us on separate programs that are tailored to us individually. Its nuts and its awesome! Weve also trained with Kristal and Kimi on a couple days when Eric was out and they were the same way, just ready to engage and work us out and get us pumped! You know!?!... Anyway, we love this place, the whole vibe, the entire staff, AND they just upgraded to the new facility which is pretty sweet! And the parking! Nice job on getting better parking.
I trained with Dan for 6 months before my softball season started. During this this time not only did Dan help with me with a healthy diet, and making me stronger, he taught me about how to work certain muscles in my body and what ones were best to work for me to succeed in my sport. Dan helped me excel in softball, by hitting and throwing the ball farther/ harder. I saw great results in my physical appearance as well.
Nick is a wonderful trainer. I started training with him to recover from a knee injury. I’ve seen incredible results in the short time we’ve been working together. I’ve been amazed at how quickly he’s been able to help me. He’s always prepared and careful to adjust the plan based on how I’m feeling that day. He’s very kind and a hoot to talk to. Strongly recommend!
I’ve been working out with Sierra at Austin Simply Fit for about 3 months. 2 of my teammates who play D1 softball work with her and recommended for me to go to her. We have focused on full body workouts. I’ve done everything from front squat, pull ups, to hamstring curls. The workouts have made me much stronger and I am hitting the ball much harder then before.
My 16 year old daughter has been training with Sierra for three months and her transformation is noticeable! During beach volleyball play, she is more explosive at the net - in both hitting and blocking. Her vertical (jumping), arm rotation speed and swing strength have all greatly improved! Sierra is a master at her craft. She pays close attention to details and is a perfectionist (in a good way :-) when it comes to teaching form when weight lifting. We all love her training equally for injury prevention and muscle building. Sierra is giving her clients skills they will carry through their athletic careers and beyond - a gift for lifelong health. And did I mention she is a wonderful person, fun, kind and easy to work with and truly interested in helping her clients achieve their goals. Highly recommend!!
My daughter is a recent h.s graduate, who is committed to play volleyball at the next level. The lazy days of summer are almost over and it was time for her to get back in the gym. We decided to train with Sierra. We started with 2 days a week, they set a goal to decrease body fat, strengthen her knees and build muscle. The amount of progress I see in her physic in such a short amount time has been amazing. My daughter trains with Sierra 3 days a week now! I am so grateful for the time and commitment Sierra dedicates to my daughter and how much she genuinely cares about her health and progress.
Vince is the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. He took the time to understand my goals, strengths, and weaknesses around physical fitness and nutrition. By sticking to the awesome programming, I have achieved great results. Its great to have him in my health and fitness journey.
I highly recommend Vince Maier as your trainer! Ive been training with him for about 4 months now and have seen amazing results in my strength and body composition. He really tunes in to your wants and needs, addresses any issues or problems you may be having, and gives such great guidance and feedback. Having trained for over a year, I can highly recommend this business and it’s employees. Great care is taken to match the workout to the person. Sierra is an excellent and mindful coach for bodily wellness along with any goals you have in mind for your physical health. You will not be disappointed!
I really enjoy working with my trainer Sierra. She is efficient yet also motivating and friendly. She made me feel like my goals are achievable and my challenges can be overcome. Even though she is training me virtually, I really enjoy the experience! Would definitely recommend her!
Very well run and spacious gym area. All the staff are eager to help and very supportive of my individual work out expectations. After each workout with my trainer, Brendan, I feel my pleasantly exhausted but not hurting my back. Very good attention from him on proper form and execution of the different exercises.
Selah Tim was my personal trainer for several months. She was excellent at creating varied workouts that were motivating and fun. She listened closely and was attentive to what I wanted to achieve as an older woman (balance, core strength). I made impressive gains in the time I worked with her.
Ive been at this gym since July and I love working with Kristal! Shes the best! Shes always happy to see me and makes me actually want to come to the gym. Kristal plans workouts that are challenging but not impossible to do. She always checks in with me before, during and after workouts to make sure that Im feeling okay. If there is ever a day where Im not 100%, Kristal adapts the workout to accommodate how Im feeling. Shes super understanding and tells the best stories...love her!!!
Darryl and I have been working together for the last year. My goals are to get stronger, and weve definitely made strides in that direction! The workout plans that he puts me on ensures that I am growing and being pushed in order to continue building muscle and improving my form and strength. When we have our benchmark tests, Ive been able to see the growth and improvement. Its awesome to also have a trainer that pushes himself to do his best, because it encourages me to! The other trainers that have subbed for our sessions are also awesome! No matter who you work with, they have your long term health in mind and want to ensure that you are reaching your goals.
I have had Dan Behnfeldt as a personal trainer and he has been our trainer in our boot camp program for years. He is great at teaching, assessing individual needs, working through physical difficulties and offering tips for exercises at home. He is also skilled in nutritional counseling. Ive been training with Dan for the last 5 weeks- its evident he knows his craft very well when it comes to what should work for my history of activity, my body type and my expectations. Asks the correct questions about your lifestyle and diet that he uses to inform him when developing your routine. Over the course of 5 weeks (and admittedly, no so many great diet choices on my end)- Ive been able to gain 5lbs of muscle and lose almost 5% body fat. 10/10 recommend.
Working with Dan Behnfeldt took my track career to the next level! He did such a great job designing a program that was specific to my needs and strengthening my weaknesses. As a decathlete I don’t have one specific need for improvement and his willingness to listen to what I needed, learn different movements to help me, and make a plan to build strength and explosiveness was fantastic!
I just wanted to leave a quick review here to say how grateful I am for Sierra Nevels coaching and support during recovery from a hip and lower back injury. She is an exceptional advocate and patient instructor. She told me all the things a PT would tell me, before they told me. ; ).I recommend her without reservation!
I have loved my experience at Austin Simply Fit. I have been working out with Kimi and she is incredible. I am a runner who was sick of getting injured. Strength training was exactly what I needed. Kimi understands what my goals are and is with me all along the way :)
I’ve been going to Austin Simply Fit for about two months training with Niamh. She is amazing! During our initial consultation she took time to carefully listen to my fitness background and goals which was important to me because I felt like I needed someone I could trust to guide me back into strenuous workouts after my abdominal surgery. Our sessions fly by so fast! The workouts are so efficient and challenging in our 30 minutes together. She mixes up the program too to keep me on my toes and I never get bored. It doesn’t hurt that Niamh is so friendly, knowledgeable, and motivating!
My daughter Molly trains with Coach Sierra Nevels at Austin Simply Fit and we are extremely happy with the results. Coach Nevels is a true “coach” that stays engaged with her athletes inside and outside the gym. Austin Simply Fit is definitely a place I recommend to serious athletes that want to get better/faster/stronger. I’d rate the place higher but there only 5 stars available 💪🏼🔥
I worked with Selah as my personal trainer in 2021. After gaining 15lbs during the pandemic I felt extremely unmotivated and discouraged about how I looked. I was tired and only woke up for work and ordered DoorDash for every meal. Selah has been an exceptional personal trainer by helping me take the first steps in the gym. She gave me a plan and was patient with me throughout the whole process. The machines are not scary to me anymore! I am also not afraid to lift a barbell now. I wish she was still here in Seattle!
I have been going to this gym since July 2021. Darryl and everybody at Austin Simply Fit have been nothing but helpful and supportive! As someone who wanted to become more active but had some anxiety about going to a gym, Ive had such a positive experience and highly recommend this gym to anybody--regardless of their fitness level and especially if they were starting pretty much from zero like I am. Trainers and clientele alike are so friendly, the gym and equipment are always so clean. Its such a wonderful atmosphere to put in work and reach your goals!
I started training with Sierra in August and dont plan on stopping anytime soon. Ive lost close to 15 pounds since then (but as Sierra reinforces, its not really about the weight, but the make up of your body). I have to admit that I agree, Ive loved seeing my strength improve over the weeks and my willingness (and ability) to push through challenging workouts. I cant recommend Sierra and the team at Austin Simply Fit any higher.
Highest parental recommendation for Sierra Nevels.A difference from a fit female High School Athlete & a College Athlete can be a difference of 7,10 and even 15 pounds - of pure muscle. A major college issue is that most of the incoming freshman athletes are not college fit & need the time to get there. This takes potential and precious game time away while they watch the fit athletes play.My graduating HS daughter figured 2 things things out:1 - A consistent peeve that all the college coaches had is “The one thing that the incoming athletes have control of is how fit they show up after the summer.” Many players do not measure up. If the player came ready, they had the instant respect of the coaches and a leg up on the rest.2 - By watching her older equally fabulous club teammates having sit the college bench while they got fit, was something she would not repeat.Enter Sierra Nevels:A top tier ATX performance coach for High School & College Athletes.Sierra was proactive and reached out to my daughter directly after hearing about her soccer exploits. With the consistent recommendations of many athletes from McCallum athletics, my daughter knew this performance coach connection would be a great move and the route to being the best athlete she could be - and could use her senior year to become college sized and prepared. - Thank you Sierra.Sierra took an already fit and successful soccer player, and in one year, produced a super strong and defined athlete with a rigorous fortitude and a love for plyometrics and weight training. A favorite item of mine is that when my daughter became Sierra’s client, she had atrocious form. Today, my daughters sit-ups, pushups, chin-ups, planks, and weightlifting exercises have the safe and perfect form. She will have a lifetime of this skill !While I have never seen my daughter’s and Sierra’s interactions, I can tell y’all that she is always raving about her coach. Never a chore, she is excited to go put herself into her VO2 max. My daughter is always learning tips, tweaks, safety and nutrition knowledge. Love it.A small item that deserves a happy shout out. Sierra is a super fan of all her clients. She acknowledges all of their successes and accolades in social media. Awsome.I can easily see that my daughter is graduating HS with all of her goals achieved. She and Sierra will continue through the summer to build on where she is.Thank you Sierra.
I looked around for a trainer for roughly two years. When I found Vincent Maier I was hesitant since I didnt know what to expect. But now its one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Vincent exemplifies everything you would want in a coach/trainer. Hes patient and gives guidance every step of the way. From questions to any concerns during your fitness journey he is there. He wont let you fail. When there is a will there Is a way. 😀
I can’t say enough about Nick Adams. I started working with him with two goals in mind: 1) pain prevention (due to hypermobility) and 2) general strength-building. When I started working with him, I was experiencing 3-4 back pain episodes/year, and when they occurred, I had to see several body workers over the course of 10-14 days before the pain would be gone entirely. Within a few months, Nick helped me get to where these episodes occur much less frequently. When they do, he showed me what I can do to alleviate the pain almost immediately! I am now at the point where I can focus on even bigger strength-training goals. Working with Nick has been life-changing, and I am forever grateful to him. If you need to build strength for any reason (and who doesn’t?), Nick is your person!
Update:Brendan is an awesome trainer and has help me with building my strength for swimming. My strokes and kicks have more power thanks to the strength training he program he tailored for me.He has been a great help after a shoulder injury and physical therapy took me out of swimming for a while. He worked with me while I went through PT and then after I completed my PT, he worked with me to further build my strength back. I’m now stronger than before my injury. And I’m a much better swimmer. He continues to assist me, tailoring our workout to my overall life goals. I appreciate having him as a trainer.Me and my spouse have been going to this gym for a couple of years now and we both have had great a experience here. It’s good gym & we have had great trainers, both Brendan and Daryl.They have both been so helpful and accommodating while still challenging us and educating us with out workouts.We will continue to go here because of the great trainers.
My coach, Sierra, has been phenomenal to work with and so kind throughout the entire time I’ve been there. She’s not only helped with workouts, but also has helped me gain motivation on eating, self care, and work in general. The environment there is lovely because everyone is so kind and non-judgmental. I’m so glad my friend recommended Sierra to me, because she has positively changed how I live, even though I’ve only worked out there for a short period of time.Sierra also takes time to make sure that I’m ready to move on and work harder, which has been nice considering each persons journey is different, and mine has been a fairly slow slope. It’s nice to have coaches that keep your mental stability and past injury’s in mind when working, which is exactly what Sierra does. Even when I’m struggling to work harder, she hasn’t given up on me, which is really helpful when I start to give up on myself.I’m so lucky that I’ve found her, and Austin Simply Fit.
Im new to training and Im really enjoying my experience so far. My trainer Sierra is extremely knowledgeable and motivating. She works with me to get my form on point and appropriately pushes me when things get tough. I enjoy my workouts and I always feel good after I leave. Im looking forward to continuing on this fitness journey with her. Its a bonus that Sierra has great convo and that the music is niceeee!!
I hurt my knee a couple of years ago lifting weights at another gym and couldnt find any trainer I felt comfortable with to help me get back in shape. Thank God I found Sierra at Simply Fit. Shes got a lot of experience helping athletes get over injuries and she is so knowledgeable. She keeps me safe and her workouts are also very efficient because shes so organized. She plans the workouts and reserves our equipment. As soon as I walk in the door we go through a warmup and get right to work. I feel really fortunate to have found Sierra, she is exactly what I need in a trainer.
Sierra from Austin Simply Fit has been training my family and I for about a year. She is a very patient and creative trainer, and we always have fun! I love Austin Simply Fit! Their COVID precautions are very stringent, and I feel safe working out there every time.I work with Sierra, and shes the best personal trainer Ive ever had. She listened to what I wanted (and didnt want) in our first meeting, and its obvious that she tailors our sessions to my body, goals, etc. I have a few old injuries to work around, and her knowledge and planning have been really helpful. Ive seen more improvement in strength and control after working with Sierra for eight weeks than I saw after working with my previous trainer for six months.
Irrespective of level you are in, Austin simply fit is the place to fulfill your physical goals. I had worked with Brendan. He helped me understand the workflow and has good chain of exercise catered to you. I started out as a beginner, now I have good understanding of basics. You would never regret signing up.
Found this place when I started getting serious about my sport, and Sierra has really been able to help me grow as an athlete. I look forward to coming every week because it means honest, helpful coaching that pushes me to my limits and gets real results. I’m so thankful to Sierra for elevating me to do more and go farther than I ever would have!
I absolutely love Austin Simply Fit! I’m a complete beginner, and to be honest was a little intimidated to join a gym. All that went away when I met Kristal, my trainer! She’s been able to help me push my limits while still understanding I need to take it slow on some things. She’s incredibly encouraging and I feel so strong after every workout. She reminds me I can do hard things!
Thrilled with the results we are seeing in my daughter since she started training with Sierra. Shes a senior in high school and now I wish I would have gotten her into this gym even sooner. We could not be happier with the results. Not only physical results you can see in her muscle definition but also in her level of play as an athlete. Ive long heard that lifting helps to prevent injuries out on the field, but its great to see her increased confidence and improvements as a player since starting at this gym only just a few months ago. Her stamina has improved and she is better able to battle it out on the soccer field and compete for the ball often taking on several other players and winning. I know that she is getting proper guidance on how to lift safely and that gives me peace of mind.

I love training at Austin Simply Fit! I was recommended by a friend and started training with Kimi just a week later. Kimi is amazing! From my son Colby N.Sierra is the perfect trainer to go to if you are a beginning lifter, or want to learn how to lift properly. Ever since my first session with Sierra, she has been helping me with my form, making sure that Im on a healthy eating habit, and she even checks in with me to make sure Im doing alright. Sierra has helped me get faster, stronger, and even smarter and I highly recommend her to anyone.
Great gym overall.Chad has been Great! he not only cares about what your goals are but also about technique and making sure you dont give yourself any injuries in the process of your fitness routine.He also sends you messages prior to your workout letting you know what you’re gonna be working on that day. he really works with your strengths and weaknesses. if he sees you doing anything with ease he challenges you with extra weight and to the point that makes you feel like you’re making progress!
Darryl & the staff at Austin Simply Fit are outstanding. I have tried many different gyms and each with the same outcome ... a membership that goes unused and unfulfilled fitness goals.Ive attended 3 x 30 minute sessions per week with Darryl and have seen a significant transformation in my physique, my endurance, and my confidence in exercising. Although I’ve worked out in the past before coming to Austin Simply Fit, it felt like it would take hours at the gym and months to build any strength and repetitive workouts were frankly starting to bore me. I met with Nick and his knowledge and patience to the seemingly never-ending questions I had is what made me decide to have him as my trainer. I feel like he is my biggest cheerleader, he tailors all workouts to my goals, and I love that all I need to do is show up without wondering what I’m doing that day. In such a short amount of time we’ve been working together I already am stronger.Thank you, Nick! The variety of workouts we do along with your encouragement has helped me workout on my own with more confidence, I always look forward to my sessions!
My daughter has been going to Sierra for over a year now. Sierra has taught her the proper form on lifting and has helped her tremendously with staying in tip top shape during her college off seasons. Sierra is by far one of the best and most knowledgeable trainers in the area that do things the right way. The results speak for themselves. I can’t wait to get my youngest in her hands soon , cause I know it will take her to the next level. If you want professional and physical growth, then Sierra is the right person for this job!
‘ Sierra, at Austin simply fit is an excellent strength and conditioning coach. She has taught my daughter proper weight lifting techniques and safety and has helped her improve her overall strength and confidence as a D1 soccer player. I would like to see the business expand their summer athletic program in to include a conditioning component along with their superior strength program.
Sierra is a fantastic trainer! I’ve been to other gyms and to other trainers. It was clear from the first session that Sierra knows her stuff and will help you get the results you’re looking for. I actually look forward to workouts- they’re challenging but manageable!
Sierra Nevel is my trainer at Simply Fit and she is wonderful! She is incredibly knowledgeable, careful and pushes me to where I need to be. I get fantastic workouts with her. Even my injured knee has greatly improved with her workouts. She is a true exercise professional and I am confident with her capabilities.
Sierra is a very knowledgeable trainer who truly wants to see you succeed in the gym and in life. She challenges me daily at the gym and because of that I’ve reached new personal records I never thought I could reach. The movements she teaches also helps you avoid injuries because she cares about the form of what you’re doing. Sierra is an excellent trainer. She pushes me harder than I would ever push myself, while also teaching me how to do seemingly simple exercises that are challenging. Sierra is personable and easy to talk to, I look forward to each workout (even though I’m always sore the next day - in a good way!). Highly recommended.
I was so nervous signing up for this gym. It was the first time I’d signed up for a strength coach and I wasn’t sure I was capable. My personal trainer Brendan is phenomenal. I wish I would have done this years ago. I actually look forward to working out now. Brendan listens to my feedback on how hard I can push myself and then helps me elevate my workout and push me just a little more. I have never stuck with a program this long. You don’t need to be a power lifter to fit in at this gym… it’s a great community that is helping me get my health back and I could not be more thankful!
I love Austin Simply Fit, the facility is great and so are the people. Sierra is my coach and she has helped me so much with my form. She is very attentive to all of her athletes and I have definitely seen improvement in my performance after coming here for multiple weeks!
After a previous injury I started working with sierra. At first I was worried that I would be rushed into doing workouts that I wasn’t ready for yet, but sierra took her time with me everyday and was patient with my injury. I have definitely noticed a huge improvement throughout my body, especially in the amount of control I have gained over my injury and other parts of my body I didn’t know I was lacking control over. I will definitely be continuing training with sierra and I totally recommend her to any athlete for recovery or to even just get back into the gym. Best trainer I have ever had.
Eric Brooks is an amazing trainer!! I needed motivation and accountability to move this over 50 body! I’ve been training with him for several months now and I feel amazing! He’s compassionate, professional, highly skilled and always keeps workouts fun. He listens to me and that gives me so much confidence!! I highly recommend!!!
For the past 5 month I have been training with Eric Brooks and continue to do so as I have seen tremendous improvement of my fitness, he is very professional, very experienced, and always gives 100 % .The culture of Austin Simply Fit is very positive and everyone is very welcoming and professional.This is the go to place if you want help achieving your fitness goals.

Does a great job customizing and regularly changing my workouts for what I’m looking for. He is also extremely flexible and understanding with my schedule which is one of the most important qualities in finding a trainer in my opinion. My son is a varsity athlete that has been working with Sierra for the last two years. Working with her has definitely helped him get bigger and stronger, as well as get more focused on working out in general. I am so thankful that Coach Sierra reached out to me via instagram and got me in the weight room ASAP! I play D1 soccer at Kansas State going into my sophomore year and was just fully cleared to play after recovering from shoulder surgery.Coach Sierra brought me in to talk about my goals and what we needed to accomplish in a short period time before I went back to school for voluntary workouts. Kimi is an amazing trainer. The best I’ve had thus far. I love how patient she is with me, how she listens to what my goals are and most importantly, how she’s able to train me with no pain!!! Ive been working with Eric for a couple of months and have loved the experience. He created a plan tailored specifically for me, and backed by InBody analysis that shows exactly how much progress we are making. Eric keeps the workouts fun, fast, and ever changing to keep you on your toes. The gym is always clean, never crowded, and has great energy. I would highly recommend Eric and Austin Simply Fit to anyone looking for a personal trainer.
Ive worked with both Eric Brooks for my pregnancy training program and KT Stemper to prepare for my wedding and have been very happy with my results in both. Im almost to the finish line with my pregnancy and still feeling strong and able to continue most of my pre-pregnancy activities, and I could not have been happier with my level of fitness for my wedding. Eric has modified my workouts as Ive progressed to make sure I am still be challenged while safe as my body changes.
Ive just started going to this gym and the vibe is amazing. The staff and most importantly, the music (Im joking but not really lol) really make it a happy and lively place to workout! I love how they operate by appointment only and the focus is on Personal Training. Im working with Kimi and she is super fun, knowledgable and down to earth. She brings positivity, discipline and high energy to every workout! Love her! Definitely recommend this place and my trainer!

Ive been looking for a new personal trainer since moving to Austin over a year ago. I recently started training with Darryl at Austin Simply Fit and am thrilled with the experience so far. Ive typically done one hour sessions in the past but Darryl is efficient and manages to pack in a great workout in just 30 minutes. Hes also been great at taking in my feedback about my workouts and tailoring them to meet my needs. Highly recommend training with Darryl!

As a Mom of 3 it was very hard for me to find the time to workout. That is until my husband had me visit with Eric Brooks. Eric set up a quick but very effective workout routine for me 4 times a week. They way Eric set up my workouts it made me look forward to each and every one. He is a very positive and encouraging trainer. When you feel like you can’t push any harder he in a very positive way pushes you to that next point. And at that is where you start to see changes. I love Austin Simply Fit on Burnet Road! Ive been training with Nick Adams for about 2 months now, and hes awesome. I have never been a big weight-training person, but decided to give it a go in 2021 because it was time for a change. Now, I actually look forward to waking up at the crack of dawn to go work out! Sierra has been training me for about 3 weeks. I came to her with injuries in the shoulder and lower back, super weak knees and a whole mess of problems. I wanted to be stronger with proper form. Personal training in a clean gym with every piece of weight equipment you could imagine. Workouts are short (30 mins) and not cheap, but the personal attention is great and are catered to your specific goals. Kimi has been great in coming up with a personalized training regimen and in keeping track of progress!

Ive been working out with Sierra for over a month now! After beating a liver tumor, Ive lost a lot of strength and am wanting to gain some of it back. Doing anything other than cardio is a whole new world for me; Sierra has been so patient with me and really focuses on educating me and making sure I have the correct form and understand how to do thing correctly. She pushes me, gives me tips and tricks to do on our off days, and checks in after work outs. She is great for a newbie like me, or for those more skilled!
Darryl is the best trainer I’ve ever had. He designs tailored workouts based on fitness/lifestyle goals and pushes you with positive reinforcement every step of the way. He has a good feel for what is needed and isn’t afraid to challenge you. He’s also an up and coming US Olympic Skeleton competitor who can provide dietary suggestions for those seeking a more healthy diet. Couldn’t recommend him enough

After a perpetual cycle of distance running injuries, Sierra has been very patient in strengthening core body movements so that I could progress safely. Our daughter started working with Sierra shortly after being released from labrum tear surgery. Not only was Sierra cautious with her recovery, but she figured out how to challenge her while avoid another injury. Our daughter has now moved off to college to play a collegiate sport, but she makes sure to work with Sierra during her winter and summer break.
Darryl is a great trainer, focusing on muscle density and endurance, giving you explosive strength without a lot of bulk. I went through 4-5 ten packs of personal sessions with him and I can definitely say I got more out of those 30 minute sessions twice a week than I ever did going to the gym alone. You just can’t substitute for the expertise and guidance you get from Darryl compared to working out solo. I thought it was time and money well spent. I would absolutely recommend Darryl and ASF is you’re looking to get in shape or take your fitness to the next level.
Its been a little over 4 months now since Ive started doing some semi-personal training with Brendan at Simply Fit. It was a great way for me and my girlfriend to align on a healthy shared activity a couple days a week. Weve slowed our weight gain, put on a significant amount of muscle, and generally feel better as a result. They have a reliable of measuring your progress and Brendan has become a good friend and trainer which is great incentive to actually get up and go to a gym. Cant really ask for more than that.
I started seeing Vilita at the South location this month and feel a difference in my body after just two sessions. Personalization is top-notch and they take you through a highly effective 30 minute work out to meet your goals quickly. I feel so much better after working with them for a short time that Ill definitely be staying long-term. I finally feel like Im learning how to work out properly, and I wouldnt have gotten there on my own without significantly more time and effort. The quality is 100% worth the investment.
My 15 year old daughter loves workouts with Sierra. I really appreciate not only the hard/good strength training but also how Sierra gives my daughter tips and corrections to help ensure her knees and hips stay aligned during the non-workout times. I’m so grateful to have another adult giving good advice that my kid is more likely to listen to than when her parents say it!
I’ve been working with Kimi while my usual trainer is out. She is a light! So much fun but also challenging. She takes the time to get to know her clients and to figure out what works best for them and then pushes them to their limits. Darryl is an awesome trainer! I cant recommend him enough. I really lack motivation, so he has been great at keeping the enthusiasm high. He puts together really thoughtful exercises based on what kind of strength I want to build, and he doesnt let me skip out of cardio while doing it :) I have a few old injuries, and Darryl works with me to swap out any exercises that might make me feel tweaky. He understands training from a professional athletes perspective -- he understands what its like to be goal-oriented in your work outs -- so Im constantly challenged. I always feel great after my training session... Go train with Darryl!

I highly recommend working with Theo! He is willing to customize my workout differently as my goals evolve and always encourages and pushes me to improve. I’ve been seeing another trainer for 3 years, I enjoyed them but I wasn’t seeing the change and progress that I wanted. After being here for 3 months I’ve seen more improvement than I have in 3 years. Sierra is not only the best trainer I’ve ever had but the most informative. I’m so glad to have found this place because I don’t know where I’d be off hurting myself trying to deadlift at some random gym lol. Also their COVID measures are very safe and I feel protected being there.
James is probably the most attentive personal trainer Ive ever had. He took time before our first workout to understand my motivation and my limitations. During our sessions he would adjust the workout based on my reaction to my back and shoulder issues. He found the best fit for my abilities and gave me a custom workout. Only after five weeks, my lower back pain and tendonitis is not a problem!
Brendan is by far the best personal trainer Ive had the luxury of working with. Hes attentive, and takes time to help you get to where you need to go. When I first started training with him I was a bit apprehensive, at first because I thought we were going too slow. However As it turns out Brendan takes your goals and your training very seriously, and meticulously analyzes how your body works with the goal of maximize your efforts. If youre going to work out here, I honestly cant recommend Brendan as your trainer, enough. Long story short. in 10 days, Brendan brought me from barely lifting up 15 lb dumbells, to flipping a 250 lbs tire, Something I had never been able to do before.
I generally don’t like working out in gyms and had never visited a personal gym before trying Austin Simply Fit. A life-long soccer player turned fairly active Mom, I had never really worked with free weights before. Mark understood my goal (build up muscle), taught me the basics and worked with my personality quirks (I don’t really like to chit chat and I’m definitely not a morning person). After only a couple of months, I am stronger and fitter. I appreciate the efficient and diverse workouts Mark leads me through twice a week. The gym itself is great and the other trainers are friendly and supportive. If you’re looking for results, I highly recommend Austin Simply Fit.

Austin Simply Fit has been the best decision Ive done for my health and fitness hands down! DJ is an amazing trainer and Ive been blown away by his expertise with the progress Ive made in the short 3 months!Im always challenged to do my best. Having mild cerebral palsy I had concerns starting working out. But with the 1x1 training and the specific targeting of areas I needed to work on, its been a perfect fit!Ive had issues with the curvature of my spine my whole life and now with DJs direction my posture has vastly improved and straightened out. In addition to the work targeting my posture, we also work on strength training which has equally been amazing as well. Were even working to prepare for a dead-lifting competition later on this year! Two separate sets of goals, with fantastic results!Its exactly what I wanted from a personal trainer and would recommend doing it to anyone looking to improve their fitness and life!

Ive been training with Darryl for almost a year. I didnt think 30 minutes would be an ample amount of time per session, but I was wrong. Darryl is always encouraging, especially when I doubt myself, he helps me realize my strength and endurance. When COVID hit, Darryl was very flexible in meeting at a park or track while following social distancing guidelines. I have been training with Sierra at ASF for about two months now. For the past two years I have been struggling with muscle imbalances and muscle holding patterns that have resulted in severe nerve pain and diminished athletic ability. Sierra has helped me make more progress in this short time than I have made with any other training strategy since my physical issues began. She is extremely knowledgable, focussed, engaged. I cannot emphasize how important this is for any client that is truly passionate about improving their level of fitness. She pays attention to your every move and is never distracted. She is also very patient and will take the time to communicate very clearly what needs to be done inside and outside of the gym in order to make progress. Could not recommend this place enough. Great people and they work well around injury and towards personal goals.I train with Brendan Morr. Hes got great energy and really helps balance me out. Im a bit low energy, so having someone hyped up and excited to train me is great. He has a great variety of tools to work with. Able to train body building, casual, athletes, power lifters, and rehabilitation.Hes done time under tension (super slow), circuit training and targeted training for individual sports. For a while my only goal was skating better (skateboard) and wed do primarily jumps and leg exercises. I started primarily focusing on weight loss and overall strength training a year back. I lost 30+ pounds while adding significant muscle.Ive seen Brendans clients get sculpted and toned or stay fit and healthy depending on their goals. This is a great gym where everyone cares.
Ive been working out at ASF for almost a year now. My trainer, Steven Kushnir, is great to work with and has really helped me take my fitness to the next level. Ive always been an athletic type and worked out on my own for years. I decided to try a PT style gym mostly because of the convenient location but also to see if I could get better results. Ive been impressed! The gym has solid equipment and its a comfortable environment. Steven knows what hes doing; he keeps me motivated and gives knowledgeable direction/advice on how to reach my goals. He keeps things fresh by mixing up the workouts and or movements periodically and its the right level of challenging to get results.

I have been working out with Mark at Austin Simply Fit for a month now and think he is an amazing trainer! He offers just the right amount of push and motivation without being in my face. I appreciate that! I am coming back from an injury and have seen drastic improvement since I started working out with Mark. Ive been working with Robyn at Austin Simply Fit on Burnet since late September, and it has been an amazing experience! Robyn is great at keeping each session interesting and new while also helping to motivate me to push myself to get stronger. Would highly recommend Robyn and ASF to anyone looking for a personal trainer.
I am not really a fitness person, but the trainers and team at ASF make me feel welcome, enthusiastic and driven to get more out of every training experience. The workouts Krista, KT and Brendan plan are thoughtful and personalized for me. They know how to work around issues like a bad back and actually help me strengthen it and get stronger so I stay healthier! I am so grateful for all of them!
I have worked with several trainers at ASF over the years, both as an independent client and then as a member of a powerlifting crew. I have never felt truly at home at a gym like I have at ASF. Brendan in particular is hands down one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. He’s friendly, positive, motivating, and smart as all get out. He trains you with creativity AND consideration of where you and any of your injuries may be. He has helped bring me back from a major car accident to a competitive level safely.This gym and these folks changed my life and relationship with fitness. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I’m no fitness bunny, but I love working out here, and everyone is welcome. And it’s one of the few gyms that will actually teach you how to powerlift properly! We push each other, laugh, make new friends, and get strong AF.
Coming to work out with Nick is my favorite part of my week. I used to have back pain everyday, but since I have been training I have been pain free in my day to day life. Working with Austin Simply fit and Nick has greatly improved my quality of life. I am so thankful for it.

Her knowledge of the body and the latest training techniques are second to none. Also, the facility is immaculate and well stocked with equipment. You can’t go wrong with KT and Austin Simply Fit!
Love the quick in-and-out concept of this gym. The 30 minute sessions are perfect for those with a busy schedule. I have really enjoyed working out with my trainer as well, Brendan Morr. He is always is a great mood and ready to help push me to reach new goals no matter what time of day!
I have worked with Logan Lepper for more than 2 years. He is an amazing trainer who cares about his trainees progress. I started off with him after a knee surgery and he was very knowledgeable about what excercises were good for my knee. Over the year he has helped me to accomplish my fitness goals with a strict and dynamic regime of gym workouts. A couple years ago he and Mark Rogers started Austin Simply Fit, which is a unique experience. I have seen this two men start from scratch and I can tell first hand of the effort and passion they put for each trainee. They make you feel more than just another customer. Austin simply Fit is like a family and totally recommend it.
I started going to Austin Simply Fit & working with Brendan Morr in 2017 and needless to say and the improvement in my lifestyle, body & mind is apparent!Brendan did a great job of starting me with my fundamentals and working me up with a teach a woman to how to fish technique. Which I honestly appreciate because now I can use everything I learned when I need to work out on my own! He always checks in with my needs before starting our work out. I have an autoimmune disease so I really appreciate that he cares. He will never push his agenda on you and will work with you as long as youre willing to meet the dude half way ;)Although my weight hasnt fluctuated much there has been a HUGE difference in my body composition (since muscle composition is so much more lean than fat!) I went from a size 28 to a size 25 and have never been so brimming with confidence. Overall I feel more agile and healthy and dont die walking up the stairs at work so thats definitely a plus.The benefits of 1x1 personal training is worth it with Austin Simply Fit. Honestly as someone who has gone through numerous amounts of gym memberships, fitness classes and more NONE of them have taught me about how to work with my body specifically. Crazy fast cardio bootcamp classes normally glaze over the fundamentals and checking to see if youre using correct form. I always found myself hurting after classes with places like Camp G & crossfit style classes because they truly arent catered for beginners.
Have been training at Simply Fit with DJ over 4 months and the results Ive achieved so far are great! DJs program is well-thought-out so that it helps me to achieve my weight goals and addresses my lower back pain as well. He is very professional and focused during training. Very supportive and knows how to push you to achieve the most from your training session.
Sierra Nevels is a great Coach.She has been working with my young daughter who is in all sports.Coach Sierra is great at working with al athletes from youth to elite.Her priority is building and getting great at the fundamentals for long-term athletic development and preparation.I highly recommend Sierra for any athlete. She is highly educated and well diverse. She has been working at UT with women’s basketball and olympics sports for the last 4.5 years.If you want a great coach go to ASF and get in-touch with Sierra.

I’ve been training with Sierra now a little over a year. And even though I’ve gone off to college, she’s still been coaching me and being intentional as I train on my own. About a month ago, I started having some pain in my knee from running and jumping. It was swollen, I couldn’t completely bend or straighten it, it felt like I had hyper-extended it. I reached out to Sierra asking if she had any stretches I could do. She told me I had jumper’s knee, and instructed for me to do isometrics twice a day to strengthen and rehab the muscles surrounding my knees, and using a mobility bike to continue to get cardio in without too much poundage on my knee. I did this for about 2 weeks, and as I felt my knee start to slowly heal, she then told me to add weight to the iso circuit and start doing tempoed lifts to keep my legs strong. It’s now been a month of rehab and my knee has improved so much and I’m now able to start running again at a fast pace with zero discomfort.What sets Sierra apart from other trainers/high school coaches is she is intentional, she cares about her athletes’ well being, always checks up on me to make sure I’m fueling my body properly, and makes sure her athletes are recovering from injuries while still maintaining strength. If it wasn’t for Sierra, I’d probably had jumped back into running and lifting too soon and further agitated my injury.
Ive been working with Krista at ASF in private and semi-private sessions for the past 6 months. I am in my late thirties and have always been active in the outdoors, but have never done consistent strength-training. As I move toward the big 4-0, I wanted to regain some strength that Ive lost since my twenties and prevent further injuries. I cant say enough for this investment. Krista has been a great coach who is both attentive and dynamic in her workouts. She often changes things up if she sees that Im struggling in an area. She pushes me to work harder, yet remains positive and encouraging. The gym is a friendly, laid-back, unassuming environment. All of the coaches are welcoming - not once have I walked in and felt intimidated. The results have been incredibly rewarding. I feel stronger and better about my body than I have in years. I have intermittent/chronic back pain that has disappeared with the focus on core strengthening. I would highly recommend ASF to anyone - do this for yourself, its a worthwhile investment.
I’ve trained with Tram for a while now at Austin Simply Fit and he has prepared me for various things such as sports seasons, the off season, and regular weight training. Every time we train together he comes prepared and maximizes our time together in the gym. I will definitely keep working out with Tram!!

2022-02-21I’ve worked with many trainers over the years but have been training at home on my own during the last 2 years of the pandemic. Recently I started working with Sierra and she is without a doubt the best I’ve worked with. Sierra is extremely knowledgeable, motivating, and friendly, but also really efficient. I get more done in 30 minutes than I used in an hour. Feeling really lucky to have found her. Also Austin Simply Fit is a great gym. We’ll equipped with a great vibe balancing friendly atmosphere with serious work.

2022-02-13It’s an awesome experience training at Austin Simply Fit. The atmosphere, equipment, and music are top tier. My experience training with Sierra has been very good, she is extremely versatile and smart, she’ll always give you a workout that challenges you but isn’t impossible. It’s a great gym to train at for every type of person no matter what sport you do or what you want to accomplish. For example I do gymnastics, so my training is focused on maximizing the muscles I need for that.

2022-02-23Its been about three months since I started working at Austin Simply Fit. While I wasnt new to exercising, I was a beginner to strength training and weight lifting specifically. Ive never felt intimated while at the gym. The staff and other clients are friendly and its clear that everyone is running their own race and doing their personal best.Kimi is an excellent trainer. My sessions seem to fly by, due in large part to her warm and friendly personality. She plans workouts that are efficient, appropriately challenging, and with enough variety so I dont get bored. Im getting stronger and look forward to seeing how far I can go.

2022-08-10My daughter wanted to see more gains from her workouts. We decided to team up w/ Sierra. She was a great coach and trainer. She identified areas to address and tailored the workouts to my daughters needs. After a couple of months, my daughter was where she needed to be for the first day of college volleyball practice. 2022-08-10I have been working with Vincent for about a month now. I initially came into this after a year of working out just by myself. Vince has been really good at understanding my goals and creating a structured and organized program tailored to my needs. He is always available to answer any questions about the program or nutrition or just about anything else you can think of even outside the gym which shows he really cares about his clients. I have managed to push through my plateaus and make good progress in a very short amount of time. Highly recommend utilizing his help and taking your fitness journey to the next level.

Over the past 7 months my daughter has been training with Sierra and the changes in her physical body, performance, and the mental changes are absolutely incredible. What I love most is that Sierra is someone that my respects, listens to, can call/text if she’s having a bad day, she can ask her for advice even if it’s not training related. Sierra is takes her training serious and to a another level, a personal level!

2022-05-09Working with Nick is the best training experience Ive ever had. During our initial consultation, he took the time to listen to my athletic goals and do a detailed assessment. From there, he developed a structured, interesting program, and he does a good job of explaining how each exercise supports my objectives. Ive been working with him for three months and have seen improvement in my everyday life as well as in my athletic performance (newbie gains lol). On a personal note, he strikes a great balance between professionalism and friendliness that makes me actually excited to come into the gym.

2022-02-07I have been working out at this gym for about a year now with my trainer Brendan Morr, now including both individual workouts and couple sessions with my wife. Weve worked on everything from knee rehabilitation to weight loss to strength training. I really appreciate the easy scheduling and flexibility in the health and fitness goals we address over time. Highly recommended gym to anyone from novice to bodybuilder.

2022-02-21I started working out with Chad P. a few weeks ago and am truly impressed! He took the time to understand my fitness level and goals and has created a workout plan for us to meet success. He is awesome with providing visuals for achieving proper form, and every week he ups my challenges by increasing weight or adding reps. I love that Chad pays attention to what my abilities and limitations are, and how he explains the why behind the workouts hes chosen for me. He makes every minute worth it! I highly recommend him!
