We had Baldi Gardens redo our landscaping in the front and back yards, remove a dead tree, and build a new retaining wall. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was highly communicative and answered all of our questions. Their crew worked at our home for several days and were very professional. They cleaned up each evening before they left. The finished product matched the original design exactly. We did a walk through at the end with the project manager to make sure we did not have any questions and knew how to maintain all of the new plants. I would definitely use them again.

We asked Baldi Gardens to do tree landscaping by adding 13 trees (1 Chinese Pistachio, 1 Caddo Maple, 1 Lacebark Elm, 2 Red Oaks, two peach, 2 Mexican plums, 2 Chitalpas, 2 Desert Willows) to our yard. The first delivery consisted of the following trees; two Red Oaks, two Desert Willows (more like bushes than trees), a Pistachio, an Elm, a Maple, and one Mexican Plum tree that should have never been planted (it had the top broken out of it). The second plum was planted bare root and died immediately, and 2 Peach. The crew dug the holes just big enough to squeeze the tree ball into it. The Baldi Garden crew excavated the holes without adding any soil amendments to each hole for each tree as advertised and stated in the contract. I was outside watching, and I even asked about modifications and was told our soil did not need any. Also, notice in the pictures that there is no mulch around any tree. We even had to lend them a rake as the crew came without all their required tools. The second delivery was the two Chitalpas that should have never been planted; how long did these lay on the ground? These trees had been lying on the ground for some time as the trees would not stand straight, and one had two dead trunks of a tri-trunk. We tried staking them for over six months, but it did not even start to correct the badly curved trees. Please choose your tree(s) yourself, as you can see what I got when Baldi Gardens selected my trees. The ONE Year warranty, yea right!!! Your rep said we had one year on the trees at which time would be April 2022. We are now just settling up. We expressed our unhappiness with your selection of trees as well as your planting methods. We never signed an acceptance of the trees. Talk about how you twisted this to your favor, Thats ok Ive learned a lesson from dealing with you, Thank you.

Great company, a little higher in price than some but you get what you pay for. Great reputation in the community. Read the reviews here and on Angi-they have over 700. all good, except for a few here and there but sounds like mostly people not reading the warranty or trying to cheat the system. I found the whole team great to work with, very upfront, even with the back log at the beginning. They let me know they were booked out 4 weeks, but opted to wait due to the referrals I got. They were worth it. Great company to work with.

On March 29, I put a 50% deposit on a $6000 job to have some clean up done in my backyard, and the front yard landscaped. Around the end of May, they came out and did the work, finishing up on June 10. No, it was not that big of a job - thats just how long it took them to complete the work. There were days when no one would even show up. My design looked nothing like what is shown on their website. It was doodles on a yellow legal pad. I sent this photo to them on June 14. They sent out one crew member to fix the sprinkler, but never to replace the dead plants - but the sprinkler never stays fixed! Its one of those hose types that go up against your house - like a drip line. It keeps coming apart and now I cant use that zone of my sprinkler system, which is hurting other areas / plants, not to mention my house! I have tried calling, left voice messages, sent texts. Gia is the only good employee in the office / management. The workers are great - when they show up. The rest /sigh.....$6000.

Worked with Baldi on a project on my new home and they were great and we couldnt be happier! Entire team was great to work with, crew did an amazing job. Had some issues sourcing some of the plants but they let me know that due to the freeze this year that might be a possibility. They were quick to help us find substitutions and still get our project finished on time. They even were able to get us pushed up a little earlier on the start date. We were worried when the backlog as 3 months, but understand why now. They are great! Would definitely recommend!

Requested an estimate on Angi.com for some grading and sod work and they sent Baldi Gardens out to provide the estimate. Their Project Manager, Chris Burt, actually showed up about 15 minutes early. We discussed the scope of work and I told Chris to break the estimate down into 2 categories since part of the grading and sod work is in a non-irrigated area. I also had him quote a separate project to line my flower beds with Austin cut stone that was not part of the original Angie request. Angie responded with the estimate about a week later but the estimate wasnt broken down as Chris and I discussed, other than the stone work. I contacted the Angie rep and asked that the estimate be quoted as Chris and I originally discussed and got a response that they would. Never heard from them again. Very unprofessional. As a side note, I did notice that Chris has given his own company a 5 star Google review (along with someone else with his same last name). The only reason Im giving a 2 star review instead of 1 star is that Chris was early for the original appointment. Otherwise, very unprofessional from both Angi and Baldi Gardens. Very disappointed and a total waste of time.Edit to reply to the response from my review.Thank you for the passive-aggressive response to my review of your company. Had you spent half the time and effort ensuring my estimate was received and forwarded to me by Angi as you did lecturing me in your response we wouldn’t be in the situation we are in. The contract arrangements between your company and Angi are not my responsibility to figure out. Clearly there is a pressing need for improvement regarding communication with the customer between you and Angi. Perhaps you could have picked up the phone to call your contact at Angi and get status of my estimate instead of expecting your potential customer to chase it down. I never trashed your company as you stated, I simply posted my experience which was not positive. It is evident that your company needs to learn how to take responsibility when you, or the company you have contracted with to represent you, make a mistake. We all make mistakes, none of us are perfect. Acting like your company is without fault in this matter only perpetuates the lack of professionalism I’ve experienced with your company. Hopefully, that will resonate with you at some point.

Great experience with Baldi. Had them come out for a free estimate after reading all of their reviews here and on Angi and being referred to them directly by Whiz Q. Ricardo came out to meet with me and he was super knowledgeable and great to work with. I know the pandemic and labor shortage has effected their business so they did have a little bit of a backlog to get the work done but I didnt mind waiting. Unlike a lot of other companies they had a great process and contracts that spelled out everything for me as far as what was expected, their role, our role, warranty etc. I appreciate that working in a field that also has to deal with contracts. The entire team was great, the ops manager Gia, project manager Chris and the crew lead by Rafa. Fantastic all around. I had an issue with a few plants not surviving which is typically when you transplant plants but they were great to get that replaced for me with no issues...a bit of a wait-but I understood that. I would highly recommend working with them. They are an amazing community business with great family values and they do stellar work-my yard is complimented almost on a daily basis.

Baldi Gardens and Gia are amazing. The entire team, from Ricardo, to Chris and Lily in the front office are top notch. From start to finish their customer service is amazing and the work they did for our yard was more than we imagined! We had to wait a bit on our project-theyre the BEST so theyve got a backlog of work but they were worth the wait! Give them a call! Youll love the Baldi Team!

I contracted with Baldi Gardens to level my front gardens and back yard, replacing the weed barrier material in the front and adding crushed red granite in the back as needed. They were to also replant my agave plants and century plant in the front gardens and back yard. When I asked Ricardo Baldi whether they could do it, he told me there might be up to a 10% loss of plants. They were also supposed to spray to kill any weeds (exception for nut grass). Low maintenance was my goal. I paid them nearly $4500 for this work.1. They did not relay the weed barrier material properly as weeds started appearing as soon as the weather changed. I realized that the material was not laid to the edge of the garden as originally done.2. The back yard was covered with crushed red granite, including an outlet for drainage covered by 4 of crushed red granite. They came out to fix this by digging down to the top of the outlet but leaving the ground level at 4 above it. It was immediately covered by the next rain.3. I did not lose 10% of my agave plants. I lost 40% of them.4. I wrote Baldi Gardens on 3/22 asking for them to come out and tell me what they would do to mitigate the issue. No response.5. I wrote a final demand to Baldi Gardens on 6/8. No response as of yet.6/17/21I am so happy that after 3 months of no replies, it only took you one day to reply to me after I leave a bad review. I dont recall a force majeur clause in our contract. I also dont see all the warnings you provided me in the contract. I never asked you to redo the entire project...just fix the specific things that were wrong.

Baldi Gardens does beautiful work! We needed our flower beds cleaned up, and they delivered. They came out and did a free consultation, and helped us get our yard back in shape just in time for Spring. They were very knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and gave us a great deal. The work was done quickly, and they cleaned everything up. They went above and beyond, and exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for someone to redo your landscaping, clean up, or just get you back on track this is the company you want to go with. I would highly recommend them for any landscaping needs you may have. Their attention to detail, and customer service is absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for the outstanding work!
