2018-03-05My daughter started guitar lessons with Claire Boyd at Band Aid School of Music last January and we could not be more pleased. Not only has my daughter learned to play, but her skills have increased rapidly under Claires guidance. Claire is a natural at productive encouragement and has created an environment that makes my daughter look forward to EVERY lesson.Band Aids model gives your child multiple opportunities to perform live in front of an audience with great feedback from fellow students and other teachers. These performances have not only given my daughter confidence in her skill, but also instilled the importance of overcoming nerves and challenging yourself to try something new. What a great life skill!I highly recommend Band Aids. The communication has been excellent and they are running a very professional and effective music school that considers your child as a individual!

2017-06-08I cant say enough good things about Band Aid School of Music. My son Zach just started playing drums and his weekly lesson has quickly become the highlight of his week. His instructor, Wes, is just amazing and has shown such patience in helping Zach advance. I cant thank James Mays enough for bringing this incredible school to Riverbend!

2014-05-02We are in-home music students (twin boys - 9 years old), and have been very happy with our experience with Band Aid School of Music. They have provided us Sam, who is the BEST teacher. Not only can he play by ear, but he is fun and funny; keeping the boys engaged throughout the hour that they do guitar and piano (one of each). Please call the Director, James. I know that he will be able to help you with your childs musical education!!!!!

2018-06-29This has been such an incredible experience for our daughter! They are writing their own songs, playing music together as a newly formed band, recording songs in a real studio, and will perform at Stubbs in Austin tomorrow! We can’t wait to see her play! Andrew has been such an incredible teacher and has inspired Cami so much! Thanks for this wonderful experience you provided her!
