They saved me a trip out to town to an Apple Store to get the battery replaced. They did the work within a half hour as promised. Phone works fine and battery shows to be 100% capacity. Cant complain about the price, either. Saved me a trip and even gave me a $10 discount for signing up for my appointment online.
Called an hour before close and asked if they had my truck battery in stock. They replied yes. I said I could be there in 20 minutes before they close and asked if they install batteries. The reply was yes. I said I’m on my way. Arrived 20 minutes before close and they had the battery ready for me st the counter. I asked how long it will take to install and the he looked bewildered. I was then told they close in 15 minutes and the computer says it will take up to 30 minutes to install so we can’t install it today. If they had told me on the phone to be there no latter than 30 minutes before close then okay I would of waited. I drove 30 minutes to get there and they did not care at all! It was easily avoided if they had either told me or maybe just maybe gave me excellent customer service and installed it! Counter guy didn’t care at all! Pep Boys took care of me just down the street!
Tracking down the replacement battery I was needing was easy. Making the online purchase for will call pick up was simple & easy too. Staff at store were friendly and knowledgeable on products I inquired about. I look forward to doing more business with Batteries + Bulbs!
My phone was smashed and I needed it replaced. I called BPB and got an estimate on the cost of replacing the screen. They were very friendly. I made an appointment and went up there about 30 minutes later. They told me they would try, but they couldnt guarantee that it would work when they were done because it was severely damaged. I left and came back about 45 minutes later. They said they put a new screen on it and tried to boot it back up but were unsuccessful. I was not charged for the service. They simply took the new parts back off the phone and handed me my broken device. I was very happy to not have to pay any service fee.
I called to see about batteries i needed and if they had. I was told yes and price would be 7.00. Drove thru traffic and when i got their he said he didnt have? He did find how to open the unit up and batteries were inside. So gave them 3 stars for helping me but was not happy driving thru traffic at my age.
Ordered the batteries online to be picked up at the store. Received a call to confirm the order and availability. Then when I stopped at the store, the batteries were ready, the rep quickly reviewed my order and helped to put into my truck. Much appreciate the efficiency of the transaction.
Went in not knowing what I needed. Two employees were so helpful in diagnosing the issue. When the issue couldn’t be solved they offered to keep it and take a look at it ......I love the fact they were willing to help a customer. Batteries Plus in Denton is a real gem. The owners are super friendly, easy to work with and the staff is very helpful. Purchased everything from commercial UPS batteries to tiny light bulbs and even had a non-replaceable phone battery replaced. Most recently I took my Ford key fob to have the batteries replaced. It only took a few minutes and they did it for me. That level of extra service makes going there with a need or a problem, and easy and pleasant experience. They have golf cart batteries, car batteries Im a motorcycle batteries, alarm system batteries, all kinds of newfangled LED lights, Chargers 4 phones and for laptops. Pretty much anything Ive ever Needed. Great prices on everyday AA and AAA and c and d and 9 volt batteries.
I really like this place - i often wondered how a shop stays open selling batteries....until i went inside. amazing inventory in a tiny sized store.over the years ive had great customer service on odd batteries and ordering missing chargers....and more recently - cellphone repairs. however, i wont let one bad apple ruin it for me....but the old gal there maybe she owns the place bc thats how she acts - when you ask her a question she is way too fast with not knowing anything and doesnt seem to have the desire to look up and cross-reference a part much less actually order anything. i asked for something and she pointed to the aisle with a If It Aint There We Aint Got It type of response. kind of weird. that was a year or so ago. more recently i went in to source a recharger and i dodged her until she was distracted in the office and i got a helpful guy that looked up my charger and got me a new one. while we were doing that another guy came in without covid protection and the guy helping me asked him to put on his mask....as he put it on....he pointed to the old gal and says wheres hers?....he was right... she wore no mask. she retreated to the open door office and said i dont need one im in the office. then it all started to add up - she is one of THOSE. which explained everything else.
The 10% discount and the ability to schedule an appointment to have my new car battery installed was great. My only downer was the technician inserted a device into the cigarette lighter to prevent the electric clock and radio from going blank BUT the device did not work.
I purchased a battery for my Range Rover online (20% discount!). I was happy with the online purchase but even happier when I got to the store. It wasnt listed online but when I got to the store they had the AMG version of my battery which is what I really wanted. Most are double the price but this one wasnt much more and they even honored the 20% online discount in the store. These guys will go out of their way to help and you might be surprised at their prices. I wont get a battery anywhere else.
I was pleased with the ease of ordering via the Internet and the 10% savings however when I picked up the battery from the store nearest me it was a-year-old? Was told by the sales clerk oh itll be fine the warranty starts today.After putting it in my motorcycle last night I also discovered I needed to charge it?Should I really need to charge a brand new battery ?
Last battery I bought online and even brand new it didnt crank all that fast. Which really sucks when its cold! Lasted a couple years but always started slow. I went with the extreme battery and that thing turns it over super fast. Cool store and good experience. I was searching to have another shipped and came across this.
The staff was very courteous and helpful with my battery issue. They checked the voltage on the old battery to make sure it needed replacing. The battery type I brought had a special connection mounted on the top. They removed the connection from the old battery and soldered the new connections and replaced the mount to the new battery. They went above and beyond what was expected. Thanks!!
They replaced the battery in my galaxy s7. At first, they insisted I give them the pin to open my phone. When I refused they said they couldnt guaranty their work. Then they said there was no way to test the phone without my pin. I had them replace the battery anyway but the new battery performs exactly like the 2 year old battery and drains 10% per hour. I suspect they didnt replace the battery or installed a used battery. $90 wasted.
Needed a 6 volt battery for an antique car and Batteries+ showed up. Interestingly that is the same source used SEVERAL years ago -- must hav gotten about 6 years out of that Duracell. So, place order on the Internet (got a discount for doing such and picking up at their store), and pick up. All done in a matter of hours -- including installation and returning the core!
My son had his phone fixed here in August. When his screen went out he was told the screen was disconnected from the motherboard and they would not fix it. The phone was taken to sprint where they found some of the screws utilized were to long. As his mother, I took the phone to them, where I met with Chris. I explained the situation and he took the phone to the back to look at it. Upon his return, he stated that he partially took the phone apart and found that one wrong screw was used. Please keep in mind that he did not take the entire phone apart to see how many total incorrect screws were used. He went on to state that it was noted in the computer that there was a problem with the motherboard and they would not fix it. After, me stating that he admitted to at least 1 incorrect screw was utilized, but they were not going to fix his phone, he said that is not what he said. I then picked up my phone that was on the counter to inform Chris that I had recoreded our conversation. He then agreed to take the phone with my number and he would call me. After a hour and a half, Chris called me to inform me that the manager gave him authorization to fix the phone, but there is no more warranty.How do you null and void a warranty because you had to fix a phone that was incorrectly assembled by your employee? Where does the responsibility come in accepting responsibility for the work you provide? There was not an apology given and when my son picked up his phone, he was told he couldnt come back there. 1st of all he wont be back. He is a high school student looking for a cheaper way to fix his phone. Well, the amount saved was definitely not worth the experience. I pray that his phone was correctly fixed this time and nothing happens, within the time frame that the manger says is null and void because if it does happen, we will show her how she DOES NOT have the ability to do so
Giant waste of time. Scheduled an appointment through their website for 7:30 p.m. drove 45 minutes to the store and was told they stop taking phones for repair at 7:00. When asked why the website lets you schedule an appointment after the “cutoff” time the response was “ dude the website let’s uou schedule for any time”. I will use tin cans and string for a phone before I go back there.
I made a 2 PM appointment to have my iPhone screen replaced. When I arrived at 2 PM, I was told that because of walk-ins the tech would not be able to get to my phone until 4:30 PM. I asked what the purpose of the appointment was and was told appointments dont really matter ... they are only necessary to use the coupon. Wasted time and very misleading policy.

2022-01-19Excellent service. The ladies at the front desk were able to guide me through finding the battery my car needed. I was very impressed with their prompt service. By the time I went into the store to get my receipts and get a refund for the core battery, the technician was done with the installation; no long lines or waiting time. Before this battery replacement, the previous battery I had was also purchased from this store. It lasted 4 years and never gave me problems.

2021-06-01Purchased a batterie from them for a mower less than a year ago. Battery was reading 2v and they would not warranty the battery due to policy. Claimed it was abused or not used correctly. This battery was used in a zero turn mower and most certainly not misused. I will never purchase from this store again!

2022-01-11I purchased a battery from Battery Plus that was about $20 more expensive than AutoZone, but significantly cheaper than the dealership. I went with Battery Plus because you offer free installation. Its a very expensive auto battery for my 2015 Volvo. Shortly after purchasing online, I received a call from a lady at the store stating they didnt have the tool to put the battery in. I explained to her theres no special tool and that I did it myself 3yrs ago. She then told me the tech wouldnt be in until time for my appointment, but I could see then if he could do it. The tech was excellent and he put the battery in with no problem. So Im a little hesitant on referring ppl based on the initial denial of the service, because the free install was the selling point for me. Based on Price, In Stock, and Installation - the store scores well - but I almost cancelled the purchase when I was initially told they couldnt install it.

2021-07-08I was going to order a new car battery online to get a 10% discount, but when I called to confirm the local store had the battery in stock, they said they could just give me the discount. Very convenient, the staff was very helpful on the phone and in the store. Great variety of specialty batteries. Its my go-to.

2021-07-16Had exactly what I needed and even informed me that battery I was replacing was still under warranty, so there was no charge. They easily couldve just taken my money because I already had my card out, but they didnt. Its good to find a company that is helpful without trying to RIP you off.

2020-12-02Got my iPhone screen repaired here and gave my battered device a new lease on life. I made an appointment online and the phone was ready within 40 minutes of being dropped off. Fair price, good customer service and a 6 month warranty on the work makes me feel confident. Would do business here again. Would recommend. Support right to repair legislation so small businesses like this can have access to high quality OEM parts and manuals.

2020-10-16This store is fantastic! They usually have exactly what I need, and they are super helpful. In addition to selling all kinds of batteries and light bulbs they also help with car key fobs and some smart phone repairs. They are always friendly, too. Now, when a light bulb burns out, or battery goes dead, I dont worry too much, because they will help me take care of it!

2021-02-10I purchased a car battery today and the kind folks at BATTERIES PLUS BULBS in Denton got me fixed up in no time! They even installed my battery for free! A special thank you to Jaylan,(who did the hard work out in the cold) Debra, Waldo and the owner Jerry, who went to another store to get me the exact battery I wanted. What a great group of people, and its also a great store to shop around in!I had shopped around for prices and this was the best price by far. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
