Travis designed our landscaping, and we love it! He is very knowledgeable and flexible. He went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the job. His guys work really hard and were very courteous. They also went our of their way to keep our property clean. We would definitely use them again.
Amazing experience! The manager was so helpful....gracious, kind, patient and very knowledgeable. She helped me pick out my first tree and I can not wait to go back to buy more! Beautiful selection - so much fun!
We went to Bay Area today and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They were patient with all our questions and were very nice. But Im only giving them 2 stars because I was very disappointed to find out that the same plants were at Lowes for half the price. The landscaping mix we bought was 4 times as much at Bay Area then Lowes. Also the Bend-a-Board was $40 at Bay Area and only $15.38 at Lowes. I cant say that Id go back to Bay Area for the fear of paying double on things. Try Lowes first and save some money!
I had heard some negative things about this place, but I have no idea why. These are the friendliest, most helpful people in the business by far! I came in 5 mins until closing time and they stayed and helped me, even missing their childrens volleyball game to help me out. Their product is much better quality then what I found at Turners for the same price. I will forever be a customer because of their customer service.
Just had a load of 3/4 river rock delivered and I was extremely happy and very impressed with the timeliness, the professionalism, and the wonderful job done by Travis. I ordered over the phone and have to say that from step one the process was easy and the staff courteous.
First time to stop by. Heard they had a good selection of landscape materials, trees and plants. They do ! Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Location moved from what google maps shows so I recommend calling ahead.
Absolutely top notch landscaping! We recently moved to Corpus Christi and just bought a new home. Found Bay Area Landscaping through searching the Internet. We really didn’t have much to go on since we moved from a green state (Kentucky).Travis came to our house and listened to our ideas. He email us a detailed estimate and invited us to the greenhouse to see if we wanted anything different. The result is impressive! We have the best yard in the neighborhood! I highly recommend this company.
If I could leave a negative I would! Called for a item and both people I asked for help from were rude and didnt want to offer help. If you dont want to sell products maybe you shouldnt have the products available... Not a problem though Ill take my business elsewhere to other stores in Corpus Christi. I wouldnt recommend going to Bay area landscape. I would recommend going to other landscaping businesses in Corpus Christi. Everyone that works here is just flat out rude!
Had high hopes from the reviews but received less than exceptable customer service. Front desk will place you on hold without telling you they are doing so and leaving you on the phone for long periods wondering where they went. Also had a 1400 scheduled delivery time for landscaping rock with labor waiting on site. They no showed the 1400 time. I had to call them over an hour later only to find out they hadnt even loaded up yet. Not cool in my book for any 5-star rated business. Delayed scheduled deliveries should be called in advance by customer service or anyone so that labor can be rescheduled. Wont do business again here.
If I could give it 0 stars I would. These people have the least amount of INTEGRITY. My apartment complex uses them and on a weekly basis they shatter peoples car windows and have no testicular fortitude to even tell the office management nor the owner of the car what they did, instead they simply walked away. Thankfully, my complexs maintenance personnel witnessed the incident and told me about it. Then when I called the office the lady who answered got an attitude, and yelled at me telling me to talk to my apartments management. Im sorry my apartment complex isnt responsible for damage your landscapers did to my car!
Pick up live oak for34.99 5 gal and staff was very helpful. They even show me the trees were and carry it for me. Good staff
It has talavera. Their a little low on quantity right now, but they expect a big delivery at the end of January. Their prices on it are very reasonable. It also has indoor and outdoor plants.

Good prices, wish they hada path to walk to where the palms where. Large gravel, rocks and very hard to walk on.
Great for families or anyone. It is Nature so be prepared for the weather, but that also means it can be different anytime you go. Plenty to do or just a great place to take a stroll.

The staff was very nice and they had great selection of Christmas trees, today they had vendors, hotdogs, plants and yard items.

2018-03-13Bought a yard of River Rock and paid an extra delivery fee: sounds reasonable to deliver the rocks to my house and throw them in the back yard, as I disclosed to the gentleman helping us. I was supposed to be called as the driver was leaving their facility so I could come meet them. I received the call as the gentleman was sitting at my house and I told them that I could try to call my fiancé and see if she could come let him in the back gate to drop them off. I was then told they could only be dumped in my driveway or on the street, no one told him they needed to go to the backyard. Upon a little back and forth as I could see it was going no where I asked him to dump them as close to the garage as possible. They were dumped just inside the sidewalk so that we cant even have access to our driveway. I called Bay Area Landscape to discuss my poor experience and all I was told was, Wheel barrel movement is an extra fee and that the $50 only covers gas and vehicle fees. Being that I live between 5.7-6.7 miles away depending on the route taken it seems to be about $7.46 per mile. Be very careful with them if you take delivery as you might want to be absolutely assured of what you are paying them. I would absolutely not recommend them to any one.

2021-03-12I am very happy with the work they did. I ordered a landscape design in putting in 2 pygmy date palms. Im not going to lie I was very scared thinking the price was going to be something outrageous, but it was actually super fair! Trent was very nice and let me know all the info I needed to know about how it grows, how they can face them, etc, everyone else at the site is super nice and helpful. And when the workers came to install them they did it so quick, professionally and cleaned up the area. I am very happy with the results. Definitely plan on getting so more work done in the future.

2022-05-12This company was contracted by the apartments I live in, candlewood apartments, to service the lawn. I wake up this morning to a crack on my windshield and this company nor the apartments want to do anything about it! Trash!

2021-05-26I was looking for ixora’s after the freeze. They were nice enough to put me on a list to call.They did call and I went over and the plants were very large and pretty. They were only $25.00.They were probably 3 gallon size. They are doing so well as are the other plants we purchased that day.They were very polite and helpful.Thank you

2021-10-13Hands down the worst and rudest customer service I’ve had anywhere in a very long time. I will never return to this business nor will I recommend it to anyone. There’s a reason I’m a repeat customer to other local nurseries and it’s their phenomenal customer service. To the owners/ managers: teaching your employees to be kind and courteous to your patrons goes a (really) long way.

2021-11-14Great job! But they dont clean up clippings or pick up branches from bushes/trees cut right away. They will leave clippings and branches in the street, go take a break for a few hours, then clean them up at the end of the day. Always parks trucks and trailers in inconvenient spots, where people can barely see to drive around. Theres gotta be better service elsewhere.

2020-08-06This Business communicated well with me. They were responding to all my questions in a timely manner. They had some really fresh product on hand. They had great costumer service. They were very fast both in the office and the outside workers. A friendly bunch of people. I highly recommend this place of business. Once i was their they had a huge variety of different landscape products. I love this place i want to bring my wife here shopping. The Prices were not bad at all. Thank You.

2020-04-26The customer service is amazing/multiple individuals I’ve encountered when there are always super polite. I am sure this place is great for most needs. However, I specifically asked if pesticides are used on the milkweed, and was told it was not. So I bought milkweed for my Monarch caterpillars. It looked gorgeous. But every plant purchased from here that my caterpillars were on resulted in them being poisoned from the plant—leading me to believe that pesticides were used either here, or at one of the vendors. Be very aware of this if that is what you are into because it was absolutely devastating. I dropped over $70 on these plants to have this result.

2019-08-05Turners lost our order for $400+ worth of plants, so we came here! I had an excellent conversation with someone on social media, reserved $50 worth of plants but ended up not going with those and spending $300! This place is great. Our yard looks 726 times better!
