The staff and vet are so friendly and take such good care of my fur baby. They tell you up front what the cost is and no hidden fees. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you for your great services!

Moved here from Chicago and I didnt know who to trust or where to take my dog. For those reasons my dog had an extreme emergency and they took REALLY GREAT CARE of my dog. They quoted me one price but it was much lower when my dog was finished, Honest and Friendly service. The service was quick, fast, affordable and I was able to walk right in and to the back.I am so happy we found this place and they Groom dogs too, OMG!!!!!!

Came here for the first time to have my elderly dog put down. They gave us a private room and were very compassionate towards me and gave me the facts I needed to hear. So I can be the pet parent I can be. I highly recommend this place and will come for services for my other dog.

This facility had done nothing but go down hill on a personal note since Doc passed away. I stayed to give them a chance to see how well they treated our kids. Started off good but then realized some of the staff was gone, which was a bummer since Jay Lynn was one of them. One of our last visit the tech literally pulled my kid to the room. He is never the one to pull. He is always happy to go. It does not feel as personal as it did before. I called in spray for our Bulldogs hot spot. We spotted it and was calling as soon as they open. I get a call back and said that he will need to see the vet first. Did not understand why just to get a spray he has had and just ran out. We already knew what he needed. Went in to the clinic they told me it needed approval...ok then. Well both Vets where not in the clinic and they close at 12 and not open on Sunday. I told them so he is going to have to go 3 DAYS of untreated HOT SPOT. If you have a bulldog you understand, this is not something to let go and WAIT.

Place went down hill since new veterinarian took over, losing all the old amazing staff that was there is reflective of this. They do appointments but the customer waits longer then when Dr.Christensen owned it without appointment setting. They make it feel extremely corporate(Cold, emotionless), and the price has sky rocketed steadily since the new ownership. We been coming for years, but the heart left with Dr. Christensen and now its about the almighty dollar.

Had an appointment for my 2 cats. Minimal wait in lobby. A team came into the examination room and focused on my cats. Once the preliminary was completed the Dr arrived and finished the evaluation for the annual visit. Extremely satisfied.

I loved bringing my kittens to this vets office for their first vet visit. The whole experience was easy and friendly. From scheduling the appointment to the ladies at the front desk to Dr. Alvarez and his assistants. They were all very friendly and welcoming, answered all of my questions and are reasonably priced. I will definitely recommend this vets office to anyone I know looking for a place to take their fur babies.

Yesterday was a difficult day that was made worst by the way the vet handled things. Lucy wouldn’t come out of her kennel and wouldn’t walk yesterday morning. She was taken to the vet. He didn’t know what to make of her condition so advised 24 hour hydration and antibiotics. She had elevated liver enzymes and sludge in her gallbladder, but nothing to explain the neurological problems. She could’ve had a stroke? We agreed to the $1500 charge for 24 hour overnight fluids and antibiotics. By 4:00pm I received a call from the vet himself that she was declining. We decided to go see her and let her go. We planned to go see her at 5:30pm. I received another call from the vet himself around 4:45pm that she may not make it until 5:30pm., and he told me that he would come back between 6:30-7 to put her to sleep. We rushed to her side. While there the vet tech, Kade, was amazing. Lucy was declining and was starting to have mild seizures. We signed all of the papers to euthanize and cremate. We were told again that we would receive a call from the vet himself when she was at rest and once that happened we would receive an email from the crematorium. We waited until 8:30-9:00pm and then returned to the vet where the vet tech apologized and told us it was done around 6:30pm. That the vet just came in and did it and left. No call. No nothing. We had been told we couldn’t be there becuz it was after hours, so we understood, maybe that was for the best we thought. So we trusted this vet, and he broke that trust. I checked my email and I had received an email from the crematorium at 7:00pm.This morning I received a call from the vet and he stated he put Lucy to sleep and she went peacefully and that he had tried to call my son, it rang twice and went to voicemail. He said and then tried a few hours later and again voicemail. I asked why he didn’t call me and his answer was, “I thought maybe y’all were dealing with it the best you could and didn’t want to talk.” I explained that this was unacceptable and very disappointing as we have been customers for years and when our vet passed away and he took over, there were bad reviews about him, but we were willing to give him a chance to disprove those reviews. HE FAILED TO DO SO. And I told him that. He then told me not to worry about paying the remainder of the bill. I am seriously at a loss for words. Baytown Animal Hospital is just not the same and Dr. Alvarez, in my opinion, is careless and not truthful. I will never put my animal’s lives in his care again. And they were voted best vet in Baytown? Wow, just sadOnce I get my feelings in order, I plan on contacting the appropriate people and review services to hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else. No one should have to sit and wait for hours wondering if their pet is still suffering or at peace.Rest In Peace Lucy.

I am very grateful with Doctor Fransico Alvarez and the staff. I took my cat and on the third day he had already improved considerably, and now I can say with cofidence that this the hospital for my beloved cats.

Very compassionate staff, gave me all the info needed to make the best informed decision i could for my pup. Did not feel rushed at any point, they went above and beyond given the situation.
