This clinic has been very helpful with me; I have never been dismissed when I have a health issue, and a lot of concerned is shown for my health every time I have visited the clinic.
Boyfriend and I went to this office , front desk Associates don’t acknowledge you when you walk in. Takes 2 hours before they call your name for insurance information, that’s not even to be seen by the doctor.——-2nd time we went no one in waiting room we were the only ones in there had to have appointments in order to be seen, He tried calling no one answers the phone.!!!! What a joke this place is. I told him find a another Physician. Glad he isn’t my physician!!!!! Don’t deserve one Star.
COVID test results are taking 5-7 business days as result of their lab taking longer than normal. I would highly recommend going somewhere else

I was literally the only person in the waiting room. Waited for about 5 minutes for someone to attend me in front desk.( maybe because theyre all outside gossiping about someone being pregnant). Once I was finally attended I waited for an hour befor I was called back. Doctors and nurses were all gossiping with the radio on loud. Just really uncomfortable and really unprofessional. The nurses couldnt even do a simple vital check. The equipment wasnt working to well either. Waited for a good while for the doctor in room meanwhile I can hear them all chit chatting. After doctor saw me I still had to wait even longer to get out. Dont come here.
HORRIBLE SERVICES!!!!...... PLEASE PEOPLE AT ALL COST AVOID GOING HERE. I been waiting on blood work for 3 weeks. I have been calling since last week trying to get my results they keep telling me that they would called me back never did. After 3 weeks I got told that they didnt have any test results, that I had never had blood taking out, they lost my blood. Please dont waste your time nor your money on this people. This is the second time they loose someones test results. I will never be going back to them. I really do hope that this help other people that are thinking about going to this clinic. Wish you could give them ZERO STARS but unfortunately you have to click on one to post your comment.
If I could give it a zero I would. No point making an appointment, they dont keep it. Always spend atleast an hour past appointment time just to get to the back then another hour in the back.The doctors arent terrible but the nurses and admins in the office are horrendous and incompetent.Why would you give some on an appointment time if you know damn well you wont be able to keep it? Honestly I think they discriminate, a Mexican can walk in and be seen right away but a white man can walk in and half to wait hours.

They call themselves drs.???? This is a Medicaid fraud clinic. Why do you have to come in every month for blood pressure medication???? Patients sit for hours before being called back. The staff are rude and incompetent. They have no medical training. As a 35 year old nurse, I would recommend staying away from this clinic if you want a real dr.
Use them for the weight loss clinic, in and out quickly most days. Only issue Ive had is that they have unexpectedly closed on a Friday with no warning and its a little irritating driving from Clear Lake to Baytown only to turn around empty-handed or to leave work early and the office is closed.
We came in for an appointment, first time, and since we were new patients we came 30 minutes early. We were in the waiting room which started empty for an hour and a half. We finally were put in a room and are still waiting.. Total time here 2:30 and still have not been seen by the doctor.
I like the clinic, The ladys always try there best to help me in anyway they can and Dr Atzal and his assistant are always nice and help to fix what ever I have wrong as much as they can thanks to yall for all yall do
Do not waste your time with them. I took my daughter in January 2017, paid my co pay - then 11 months later receive a bill for my co pay which I paid already. I call to discuse - and they never answer, or they tell me to call back because they are busy. No customer service at all.... they are no professionals.
Robin that answered the calls was extremely rude. I see why this only has a 1.7 rating. Wouldnt even tell me where my prescriptions were going wouldnt have the dr call me back just extremely rude.
Horrible receptionist... extremely rude. I’m not one to take time to write reviews but I sure do read them and so I felt this review was a must. Even if you decide to go, be prepared to not be greeted and when you approach the desk she seems like she’s super annoyed even before you open your mouth. Get a new job lady!
They should be able to let us give 0 stars to this place. What a joke of a medical facility. First they cant find my paperwork then i receive it an hour later and they put everything wrong. Came back next day and Ive been waiting 2 hours just to receive the paper work back

It’s dirty Ma’s are not friendly.The rooms are super dirty.With COVID GOING ON THEY DO NOT TAKE STEPS TO KEEP CLEAN.

2021-10-20I’ve got a mixed review actually. The dr who cared for my husbands sinus infection was good. However we never received the results for our family’s Covid tests. School and Work waiting on the results for 2 days as we received the run around from the office, one excuse after another. We were told results were next day - We ended up going to Patients ER to retest. Got results in 1 hr.Everytime I called Baytown Family Clinic to check on the results they gave me a different excuse - usually when stories don’t match - someone is lying. Office staff is unprofessional and rude. On hold now with my insurance company to make sure we don’t pay for tests we never received results for. Don’t waste your time here.

2021-04-29Dr. Haider Afzal clinic in Baytown is wonderful, their newly renovated clinic is so beautiful. The service was great, Robin was kind and very helpful checking me in and sending over my medication. I genuinely love coming here, the service never disappoints and I always get the help and car I need.

2021-07-23If you have cholesterol meds, plan on going there every three months just to request a refill. They make you set an appointment just so the doctor can ask you a few questions this just started this year. So if you feel lonely and want to waste three hours waiting every three months just to see a doctor so he can ask you how you are feeling this is the place for you

2020-06-19People are very unprofessional. A lady named Ms.Landry as what they call her was very rude. I dont know if the owner of that clinic knows that they have that kind of staff. Rude to patients and as if she is very proud of what she is doing. I saw the reviews and all of them are right. Health care professionals if they are really professionals should care and not yelling to patients. Ms.Landry if you will read this remember that the money you are spending and putting in your familys table came from patients which you are treating so badly. Without this people you will not have a job. Sorry for patients who are coming in this clinic.I hope the owner will read each of the reviews and should take an action before its too late.

2017-07-07First, my appointment was at 11:45, I left the office at 2:00 without being seen by the doctor. Over a 2 hour wait in a waiting room with 30+ patients. This place overbooks appointments and the wait time is unbearable. The office staff was laughing and celebrating a birthday while all of the sick patients and crying children waited outside.Second, the doctors office received notice from my insurance company that they needed more documents and tests before they would approve paying for my medication on May 22, 2017, however the staff never notified me of this until I asked about the medication on July 6, 2017. I had to do without my medication because of the laziness and incompetence of the office staff. I still dont have the tests scheduled and the front office lady yelled at me when I questioned her about this.Third, my sleep study on June 14, 2017, results came into the doctors office from the lab but the staff NEVER called me about the results. I had to go into the office and inquire about the results. It turns out that the results had been in their office for over 2 weeks!Fourth, on my first visit to this office I took a lady to help translate English. I did not take her on the 2nd visit. After I left the office without seeing the doctor, an office staff (old black lady) called the translator and gave out personal information about me and my visit and spoke very bad about me. This is highly unethical.Dont go to this place. The office staff is rude, they over book, they dont give you your lab results or care about getting your medication to you.

2020-06-30Went with my disabled grandmother. Mosst of the staff is very nice a lady and I try talking to one of the nurses because she and I have asthma and the nurse wouldnt listen to us. The lady said we had to have a mask on so I had to walk outside because I am bipolar and was getting frustrated. I had an asthma attack the male nurse help me but the lady was so rude says I couldnt be back with my grandmother sweetheart of a doctor and most of the staff.

2017-01-11The nurse staff and doctors are very friendly. I came in with a high fever and cough , got a steroid and antibiotic injection and was told they sent over 2 prescriptions to my pharmacy (they asked which pharmacy I used twice and I also wrote it on my sign in forms ) went to my pharmacy 2 hour later and they hadnt received anything (by this point the clinic was closed) . I spent all night coughing because I really needed the cough syrup that they had called in I waited until they were supposed to be open (9 am) called and called and it kept going straight to voicemail until finally after 11 oclock I finally reached them and was told the issue with my RXs not being called in was due to me not having a pharmacy listed ! The lady I spoke with was nice and prompt and fixed the issue. I understand mistakes happen but Im a little cranky after not being able to sleep for 3 days due to my cough and fever and I really couldve used that medication last night.

2017-02-20Poor service.I had blood work done was billed over 200 with insurance and I only received half of my blood work. I was told that the lab they send my blood work to was moving during the month of dec. This was back in December of 2016 up to today Feb. 2017 Im still fighting for them to find my blood and to get the results in.I was also told that the office likes to over charge the insurance for services you didnt receive or get.With my experience I can see that what I was told is true.On the PEDIATRIC side where can I start.Front desk service is Horrible the lady is rude and noise. She wants to know everything like if she was the doctor to then tell you that she cant take you in because there are no appointments available.They say that walk ins are until 11 but no where in the office it says that.I feel that sometimes the lady can be racist.I WOLD NOT RECCOMEND this clinic to anyone.
