Fantastic childrens museum! Its definitely small, but it is just packed with fun and creative activities for kids. Our children could spend hours there and still not have their fill. There are great areas for toddlers as well as older kids. Getting a membership is more than worth the price, because we plan to keep coming back at least monthly.
I’m so happy Beaumont has this museum! It’s a great place for younger kids at a reasonable price. Our family bought the membership, which makes it very easy to visit often. We had my son’s 1st birthday party here and it was great. The kids loved the bubble experiment and playing in the museum after the cake. We had children ranging from 6 months to 10 years and all enjoyed it. It is not on the same level as the Houston children’s museum so if you have been there, try to lower your expectations. But, this is a nice gem for Beaumont. The events they host are usually fun as well!
My grandbabies loved Touch a Truck. Can not wait to bring them back to enjoy the museum

We drove a good ways for the experience, and we were a little disappointed about how small it was, but my boys 2 and 1 had the best time! They enjoyed themselves so much. We spent about 1.5 hours inside but for the price it was perfect. There was so many sensory and building activities. The place was clean and well kept. We enjoyed our time.
What a wonderful little hands on museum! Got really crowded around noon, but it was empty when we got there when they opened. Only $5 per person to enter. We will return!
Delightfully surprised! Theres a lot here for children of various ages to do, amazing for an area this size. Theres a pretend HEB to shop in, a pretend bank, large area of soft items to be stacked, knocked down and crawled over for toddlers and young preschoolers.....I havent begun to touch on it all. Well worth price of admission!

Always a great place to visit. My 4 year old loves the costume area to dress as a police officer, fireman and or construction. There is a doctors office setup to give exams, dentist office and pretend x-ray machine. Bank area and a Grocery Store, but currently the grocery store is under construction. Museum has a mat area with obstacle mats to climb over, crawl through, learn to walk on different height mats, and work on motor skills. Make sure to bring socks to play/walk on mats. Two building areas with large blocks. Painting area, digging for fossils, and so much more. The BCM offers S.T.E.M areas for learning and its been donated by local refineries, community organizations and local philanthropists. We are grateful for a wonderful children museum to serve our area for our children.
So the first time we went it was a little chaotic, but so much fun! The employees were kind and the atmosphere was great.I wanted my husband to see how great it is so we went yesterday. It was totally different, in the worst way. Not one employee smiled, the girl behind the desk had a terrible attitude. The employees were all over the place telling kids to clean up while they were still playing and talking trash to each other about how much they hated work(including the volunteers). Just total party poopers. Our child even picked up on it. We did our best to push through but we were ready to leave shortly after coming. They had summer camp going and the teachers were hollering down the hallway at the kids. I really want BCM to do well but I’m not sure if we will be going back until something has changed.
We had never been before and heard good things. It there was a lot of things that didnt work, lots of broken toys, and very unorganized. My son loves going to HEB to go shopping and was looking forward to the HEB set up and pint size baskets, it was just a huge jumble of things, crushed boxes of products I know there were people in there picking up blocks and things, but it was still just really dirty. I really thought my 3 year old would enjoy it a lot, but i almost feel like he was too old for most of it.
Had fun at the Annual Lego Day! We will have to go back, even just for the Augmented Reality Sandbox!
Camps are excellent for kids! Tons of staff and volunteers from Lamar too. They keep an eye on the kids and keep the place picked up (and ask the kids to help clean up too). My kids have always loved going.
Would definitely be better if workers who are paid to help clean and keep the messes under control- would help supervise and do their part. But instead they stay up at the front, the the back is overran by running children and an overwhelming amount of toys everywhere. other children’s parents SHOULD clean up their area when their child is finished playing. I’ve had to clean up other children’s messes Instead of their parents because they’re not watching their children- instead of enjoying watching my own play. Do better parents.
Beaumont childrens museum was wonderful. I was there for the home school workshop. Its an excellent program.
It’s a really neat place for kids to do so many activities. My grand children loved it! I have it a 4 because they could do some updating on some rusted things that are easy to replace (ie: kids xylophone, clip boards, cans in the H-E-B store) other than that it was great!! Definitely will come back!
Absolutely awesome for young kids. My children can play here for hours there is so much to do. Also it is impeccably clean with hand sanitizer available everywhere. Great place

They have lots of things to entertain little ones. We spend about an hour and a half and we play with pretty much everything. Come out an try it out!

Haven’t been myself to check out the museum, but our son (age7) went to a robotics camp there. He loved it. Staff was kind when we dropped him off. He seemed to learn a lot and enjoyed going. We will definitely go check out the museum portion.
Awesome place to bring your children!!!! It is super affordable at five dollars per person and the little ones under 2 I believe are free also!!!! So much to do, see, and learn. When we went they had a reptile breeder there letting kids hold friendly bearded dragons and small (nonvenomous of course) snakes. Our kids absolutely loved it! This is by far one of the coolest things to come into the Beaumont area for children. They even have a mock grocery store and doctors office. I cant wait to watch it grow and become even better. If you havent taken the kids to go check it out you definitely should!!!!!
I took my granddaughters age 3 and 7. We had a good time. The price is great. It is a great activity if you have a couple of hours to enjoy. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Very hands-on.
Had a great time with the kid. They have different things going on at different times. It was touch-a-truck when we went. My son loved it. Got to sit in the vehicles and they had crafts inside along with pizza and drinks.
We went to a birthday party at the BCM and it happened to be our first visit there. They have a lot of really cool things for children and toddlers to do. They had someone with snakes that you could pet. During the party we made an experiment and the kids loved it. We enjoyed our visit very much and will definitely be back.

Great place for kids to be kids. They can play and learn at the same time. Bmt. Childrens Museum gets a thumbs up from this science teacher. The hands on science activities make learning about science fun!

I love going to BCM. Lots to learn for the children. They offer school field trips, birthday parties, monthly parents night out, summer activities, animal kingdom education, etc...all at a reasonable price.A must visit if you have young children!!!

Toddler takeover is very good. Some exhibits are still broken. The young ladies do a great job with crafts and story time.
Children under 6 will probably enjoy this place more than older kids. It was a bit of a mess when we got there at 1. It has potential, but needs more staff to keep it in order.

Awesome little spot to take the kids- can get a little busy and chaotic at times. I do wish they would refill the cute milking cow so kids after the first wave could play with it too.
Always a favorite for my son. We had his 3rd birthday here and kids (and adults) of all ages enjoyed themselves.

2022-06-29My 5 and 1 year old really enjoyed this place. We were there for 1 hour and my oldest did not want to leave at all. Only reason we left was because i was hungry. So definitely go with a meal in your stomach no food here. Really good place for kids to play inside!

2022-06-10Great experience for children to learn while having fun in a safe setting. This museum was a wonderful break during a family road trip across the country. Our 1-year-old child also enjoyed the dedicated play area for the smaller visitors.

2022-03-29When I was working for Beaumont Independent Sch Dist I went to the museum with the children for the school. The museum had a lot of interesting things to see. There was some hands on things that the kids could do. The children had a great time.

2018-03-01My kids had fun here lots of stuff to do. Geared more for younger kids and it was kind of small but it was worth the money. A plus was that there was a guy there who had snakes on display that you could touch and hold. Nice place overall and worth the money.
