The guys were great! Unfortunately they had to move some things around in the truck to get to our piece but they let us know that right away. They took their time to be respectful with our piece and checked it out thoroughly to confirm everything was in perfect condition. So happy with your service, being prompt and great communication.
Steve delivered the console table I ordered from Arhaus this morning. I received a text message telling me hed arrive in 25 minutes, and he was very prompt. As soon as I opened the front door, he greeted me with a big smile. He and his team member were very friendly and took great care with the table when bringing it inside and unwrapping it. The table was in perfect condition. They provided great service!
I wanted to use Berger for my long distance move, but never received a quote from my assigned agent. I had a video visit on Friday and was told it would take 24 hours for her to get back to me. I never heard back so I emailed twice, but never received a response. I followed up via text on Monday - the agent apologized for the delay late morning and stated she found a less expensive third party vendor, but still no quote. At 1pm on Monday I decided not to go with Berger because I was afraid I would experience the same lack of communication if I signed a contract for their services and had an issue. My review represents my experience with the Berger agent, not the company as they have great reviews.
Berger Allied moving in team in Texas is outstanding! My family had a complicated move with 27000 pounds of household items that required interim storage, a few reschedules of delivery, and finally a delivery to a set of self storage units.We arranged our schedule with JC, who is an amazingly nice and caring person. He worked very hard to help us work through the issues my family had when our plans changed.The team that moved our furniture and goods to the storage unit was equally amazing. They were organized, efficient, and extremely nice. It almost felt like our family was moving us. They were VERY professional as well. They took great care to pay attention to all of our things and worked very hard.I seriously couldnt ask for anything better form JC and the Move Team (Mr. Rodriguez and team, I believe).I highly recommend this team to anyone that needs highly skilled professionals for your move.Thanks very much to all for a perfect experience. It was very much appreciated.
Last night they texted us to let us know the time. They were 100% on time. We did not have to wait all day, which was awesome. They were fast at putting the furniture together and they did a great job. They were extremely professional. We are so pleased and couldn’t ask for anything that would make it any better.😁
One of the best delivery experiences I’ve ever had. They provided a small delivery window to expect them, notified me 30 minutes ahead and showed up exactly on time. They were friendly and took care with moving items, even details like trying to center the placement on the wall and making small adjustments to the doors of the cabinet to make sure they were closing correctly without being prompted. Really wish every delivery company was like this.
They did a wonderful job! True professionals. Polite and prompt and good communication. When there was an issue with the furniture we had delivered (not their fault) they proactively contacted the store and arranged for a replacement for us. Would definitely use them again!
I had a great experience with this company. They showed up on time, told me they would be out in 15 minutes with everything assembled and they were accurate to the dot! Both individuals were incredibly kind and picked up all trash and had great customer service. I would use this company in a heartbeat if I ever had to move furniture!
The crew was very professional and responsive to my request for future placement and offered great suggestions on how to manage the new furniture. They went above and beyond by helping me move my mattress from another room and by removing the extra plastic from the mattress and box spring.
They delivered a sectional sofa, dining table and bench from Arhaus for me. Jesus texted me when they were 15 minutes away and was great through the entire delivery. He asked where I wanted my furniture, what to do with my old furniture and told me what to expect from their delivery service. They were training new crew members well and they were very kind and professional. Even helped move my old furniture to the garage! Very good experience.
JC in storage is fantastic at helping customers (me) when I called and very helpful when I had to extend the storage time for my furniture and belongings. JC was very efficient in setting up a delivery date and following through. The delivery crew worked very hard the day of delivery, and were very polite, friendly, and helpful in making a delivery day less stressful than I thought it would be. They did a pretty good job! The only short-coming was in putting everything back together that had been dismantled at the starting location. I have some heavy oak furniture, one being a vanity that should have had the long, heavy mirror unpacked and place in its proper position on/in the vanity...my husband and I (in our 70s) ended up having to put that piece together ourselves after the crew departed. Would I recommend Allied? You bet I would, they are great. When you compare the cost of their services to packing, transporting long distance, unpacking to renting a U-haul truck, the cost to have someone help you do it is definitely worth the few extra bucks. The cost compared to a rental truck, gas, your sweat and labor was not way out of line. Good job everyone.
Delivered our Arhaus furniture. Very prompt and professional service. White glove set-up. All furniture unpacked and assembled, boxes and packing all removed. A small issue with one piece, they contacted company and resolved the issue before leaving. Very pleased with the service and would use them again.
From start to finish, Berger Allied helped with coordinating an interstate move, and even accommodated some schedule changes based on home closing dates and times. Our driver, Ronnie, was professional and courteous from start to finish. The teams worked quickly and safely, and got our items to our destination without any problems. It was our easiest and most stress free move yet, and we will definitely recommend them to anyone in the future!
Exceeded my expectations — Arhaus’ furniture arrived way sooner than expected & this Berger Delivery service was the red carpet treatment! The scheduling was wonderful, the emails helpful, the 2 hour window was spot on & the personal call they were arriving was just as professional as the delivery! Runner were laid down & everything was unpacked & packed empty for recycling!!! Friendly & Professional service & I was LAST call of the day! Awesome!!!
Everyone was very professional and very responsive. The movers were incredibly careful with our move. Most of the boxes european glass sculpture. I was pleased with their logistics staff as well. Highly recommend them to anyone. They stored our move for the seven days till our new home was ready for move in.
Berger Allied was tremendous!! What a great job they did!! This was the second time that we have used them and we would not hesitate to use them again in the future if we move again. We had them pack up our entire house, load the truck and store it for 2 days and then move us into the new house. All three segments were seamless, professional and very well done. The packing was efficient and they did a great job. We have unpacked almost everything at this time and we have not had anything broken as of yet. The moving guys also did a great job on both days!! They were fast, efficient and very courteous throughout the entire process. I would VERY HIGHLY recommend this company for anyone looking for a great company to handle your move.
We are moving to the UK and the team were incredible. From the first call to the inspection to the move date, we felt cared for, informed and thought about.The team who packed up our houses were magicians. From the time Steve Warner called to inform us of our delivery of four dining chairs we purchased from Arhaus to the time he left our condo he was very personable, polite, and responsible. He made sure that there was no damage to any of the chairs. My husband and I were very pleased with the delivery and removal of boxes and packing material.
Steve and his co-worker were very prompt, super friendly, and efficient at delivering an oversized 7 piece sectional custom couch from Arhaus. They linked and secured the sections together, and made sure the couch was optioned in the place where I wanted it. They removed all the packaging from the couch and even took the packaging from my ottoman from another company. Would definitely use their services again.
We had our household packed and placed in storage while working overseas. We returned for a short time, took our household out of storage, downsized and had what was left placed back into storage while living overseas once more. We chose to have our smaller collection of items placed into storage with Berger because it was cheaper than storing it ourselves and the movers do a better job of packing than we do.Today we removed our items from storage except three boxes that we have asked Berger to ship to Spain for us.Bergers personnel are friendly, responsive and caring. We cant say enough about how much we appreciate their services.
Steve provided outstanding service! He was on time and incredibly thoughtful while unpacking and building my Arhaus furniture pieces. When there was an issue with one of the pieces he worked fast effectively with Arhaus to get the issue resolved. I have had the privilege of using Steve and his team for furniture delivery as we furnished our house in 3 stages. Steve was extremely professional, responsive and did an amazing job. Every time we know that he’s delivering things for us, we know he will be clean, respectful and go above and beyond!
Everyone I worked with on my move was professional, friendly and responsive. Our driver, Hector was incredibly accommodating. He and his crew were fast but careful. Everything was well packed and we had no broken items. Some screws for a crib were misplaced however he somehow immediately found replacements and was ready to come back and assemble it for us within a couple of days. I was happy with the service and would use them again.
Our driver Donald, was amazing professional and took great care of my clients very fragile and sentimental items. It was a very large move from Dallas to Houston. He was great with communication and on very prompt. Super personable and proud at the same time. Was very careful to meet the needs I had expressed on behalf of the client. Aside from the driver the company was phenomenal with all communication prior to the move and after as well as making sure I had all supplies needed . If there were more than 5 stars i would give them. !
Person unloading used a utility knife to cut a soft thin foam piece away from a $2k Arhaus coffee table I had delivered and made a cut into the table top. It made zero sense to cut with fully extended blade on what was obviously a high end table top, or even to cut at all because you can simply pull away the foam. I wouldve much preferred the delivery without the white glove service and unpacked it myself. Arhaus charges $200 delivery, which is way more than any other furniture store, so I expected better.
Best moving experience, we have ever had. We have moved quite a bit in the last 10 years, and not one compares to the level of service we received on this move. The communication and level of service we were provided prior to move day & the day of was above and beyond. Our move coordinator Austin made sure we had everything we needed and accommodated every request we had. The crew that moved us were extremely friendly and professional. They took extra care of our belongings, and were thoughtful, hardworking, and respectful. The fact that they were so accommodating and well organized especially in the summer heat was amazing. I would highly recommend Berger Dallas to anyone!

Staff is extremely professional, responsive, and dedicated to giving you the best service. one delivery worker, lupe, was so amazing—he carried multiple large boxes in the pouring rain up three flights of stairs on his own with so much professionalism and grace even though it was a very challenging delivery. he deserves a raise! jc sanchez, the office administrator, was also always easy to get ahold of, helpful, and accommodating to my tricky scheduling/difficult delivery situation. i had such a great experience with this company, especially because in the past i’ve had other storage/delivery companies lose and damage items but not a single item was missing. their system of accounting for items is very organized. they provided a detailed box item receipt that made my unpacking process very easy to understand. great experience!
They were punctual, efficient and friendly. Angel, Joel and Atanasio packed up my entire apartment and quickly loaded all of my household goods into the moving truck. All of my belongings arrived safely, with no damage or missing boxes. Donald and Dennis moved me into my new apartment. They brought everything quickly to my 3rd floor apartment in the rain. Donald and Dennis helped me assemble several pieces of furniture.All of them were professional, friendly and very good at their jobs. I would recommend to anyone looking for a seamless move. The movers were fantastic! They were all very polite, took excellent care packing all of our items for our overseas move, and did everything as quick as possible. We were VERY impressed! We honestly couldn’t have hoped for better movers to assist with shipping our belongings! 10/10 would recommend.
THE MOST HORRIBLE move EVER! I’ve been packed & moved professionally every 2-3 yrs since 1998 & I have never been so violated! Does the rules change because the military is not paying and I am? Of course it does as the quality was not comparable! I was not asked to count the tags packing or delivering. No one from either company came by. I surely called them as well as the police. My purse was in a closed off area. Somehow my wallet was removed and I happened to find it as I was repacking a box in the garage. I go look and everything in the closed off area has been rummaged through! Money & jewels STOLEN! Who are you hiring??? Were they vetted? #reputablewhere #noaccountability #notsafe #choosesomeoneelse
They were super professional! They helped me make sure that my rug and rug pad was centered like it needed to be in my living room also helped me put back my couch and coffee table! Placed the new end tables right where they needed to be! Walla living room back in order!
We moved from Dallas to Phoenix and overall the move was great. Our driver, Pete, was very respectful, responsive, and gave us exact times (to the hour) of his arrival, and he was on time. While we did pack all of our own boxes, not one single thing was broken, and our expensive furniture was carefully wrapped and well taken care of. In terms of cons, there was a miscommunication regarding wardrobe boxes and we had to leave the house to go get them Ourselves during the move out. Overall, we had a great experience and I would recommend them if you’re planning to use a van line company for your move.
We are moving from the Dallas area to Iowa. Three guys were very professional and efficient. Piece of counter in bathroom was chipped, but other than that all went very well. I am hoping that my belongings arrive in excellent condition. I would recommend them to anyone who is moving and cares about your furniture, etc.
This business delivers for Arhaus. They delivered & put together a hand made Italian dining room table & chairs. Took off shoes or used shoe booties to respect our new hardwood floors. They unboxed out on the front porch as to not make a mess & hauled all the boxes etc to recycle. Set up looked great! One of the chairs was damaged, not in packing or transit but they called & got a replacement ordered immediately.
We received excellent service. The moving crew was very professional. They arrived on time and paid attention to every detail. We received calls from Rosalyn during the process, checking how the things were going and whether we needed help with anything. We highly recommend them.
These guys moved us a few months ago and I have to say that they were the best movers we have used by far! they were on top of it from day one, the office kept in constant contact with myself and my wife, making sure the process was easy and stress free. The driver and his crew were so quick, we couldnt believe the one day turnaround to load and unload everything within a few hours! Not a single damaged item! We will 100% use Berger again, anyone looking for a great moving company should do the same!
I had a great experience working with our move coordinator, Jacqui Payne. She communicated with me regularly and made sure the process happened smoothly and timely. The packers and driver were also fabulous. Not one broken item and they did a great job of reassembling all of our furniture. After a horrible prior experience with another company, this was a breath of fresh air.

Be sure to request for Donald. He came in and put us at ease immediately about moving all our furniture and boxes. We had to move to another state. They made sure all our furniture was wrapped and placed in truck for no damage. He arrived at our destination on time and helped us place everything in a order to help make put lives easier due to we are in an interim location for a few months. We definitely would not hesitate to use Berger Allied again and Highly recommend them for packing and moving services.
I had a great experience with Berger Allied Moving Company. They made sure to call and FaceTime me multiple times while moving my stuff out to make sure they were packing up the right items. I felt as though they were very thorough and careful with my belongings. I would definitely use them again!
Excellent job! Communication was easy and satisfying; from the salesman that came To my home, to the coordinator, to the driver of the moving truck. I had to change my move date and even the city several times and they were understanding and very helpful. My move came in under the estimate. Which was a nice surprise. The movers were fast and organized and so nice. I would definitely use Berger Transfer & Storage again. They made my move stress free.
Best communicators I’ve ever worked with! The 3 men who moved us were top notch! They were caring, professional and great to work with. Moving day was easy and stress free because of these guys. We will be moving again next year and I will definitely be using Berger again!
Elisa from this office was extremely unprofessional. My she delayed my move, and then when the movers did deliver my stuff it was missing my television, hundreds of dollars worth of supplies for my dog, and my vacuum. They also got my name wrong a bunch. I cant recommend this service less. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
We had an awesome experience from start to finish! Austin was fabulous to work with. We couldn’t travel to Dallas due to COVID-19 and needed someone to pack up our son’s dorm room. We wanted to ship a few things and donate or toss the rest. Austin made it happen at a very reasonable price. The actual moving team was amazing, too. Terrence (I think that was his name) and his colleague FaceTimed us and went through each individual item in the dorm so we could decide what to keep, what to donate, and what needed to be tossed. The items we wanted were shipped and arrived perfectly packed. I’ve used many moving companies over the years, and this was by far the best experience. Thank you!
The Berger Allied staff at every level (from the sales, administration and operations) have been amazing. They were very courteous, timely and punctual, communicative and helpful with questions that I had. Overall they were generally amazingly nice people throughout our experience which was quite stressful and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a transportation expert! The ladies who packed to the guys on the truck (Tim and Mike) were great. I haven’t finished unpacking, but I only have a broken lamp so far. If nothing else is broken, that will be great. I’d give 5 stars, but there were some communication issues between the packers and loaders. The boxes I packed were never numbered, which I was uncomfortable with. And the packers and loaders both thought the other was supplying mattress boxes.
These guys were great! They got our stuff to our new home quickly and without a single item damaged. Weve never had such a perfect move from start to finish. We are so glad we chose Berger for our move! We will recommend them to all of our friends and family in the future.
I highly recommend Berger Allied! I was the lucky one to head up our corporate move this past July and used their services. No complaints, their prompt responses, patience( sitting with us meeting after meeting planning) and professionalism was better than anything i had expected. Aric and Ken were there the entire time for us when we needed them. What we planned to be a week long move, was wrapped up in just 3 days. Awesome Job guys!!
I have used Berger twice. They brought my furniture from Las Vegas to Dallas when I started school at University of North Texas. They stored it until I could pick it up. Then when I got ready to move back to Las Vegas they packed it up and stored until I was ready to make the official move. Everything was seamless. Everyone there treated me with the utmost respect and they cared for me and my furniture. Hats off to a great company!
So glad we chose Berger for our move. We knew we wanted Allied and Berger, an agent through Allied was recommended to us from a neighbor. Our items were packed with care, sent to our new home, and delivered without a single piece damaged. These guys were courteous, thorough, fast and efficient.The communication from start to finish was above and beyond. The crew that came was very professional! Also, a big shout out to Elisa and Sabrina!!!!! When our stuff was delivered to Charlotte, we were missing the parts box (the parts for a crib and dining room table). Elisa and Sabrina were on top of it, and got a company out here within 48 hours to help find suitable parts. Both Elisa and Sabrina were quick with getting back to me and very nice!

Berger Allied Moving & Storage moved me from Minnesota to Texas. They are very professional, careful, and attentive. They communicated frequently with me, and gave me an accurate delivery time. They were also very fast packing my belongings, moving them into the truck in Minnesota, and then into my apartment in Texas. There were so many personal components that needed to be worked through for our move and Austin from Berger handled everything so well. He made us feel very comfortable, and we only have great things to report about Berger Allied. Moving was very stressful for us, but the constant communication and organization of Austin made us more reassured. Because of Austin, we will be sure to call Allied Berger for our next move. They were just wonderful.
We moved to our new place in Sep 2018. That was our first move between two states and I didnt have that much experience. I already recommend to all my friends to do not use this company doe moving, but honestly Im not sure how other companies handle the moving process. Im just sharing my experience so others can pay more attention to details. That can help them to have a better experience. Here is what I experienced and the the reasons behind my 1 star rate.1. Packers do not care. When Im saying that they do not care, I really mean it. Probably when you want to move from one state to the other, so many things going on in your life. I couldnt stay stand by there and check everything. Here is what happened, they packed all my new born babys stuff with dirty shoes together. Additionally, the way that they are labeling the stuff is super confusing. It is not possible for you to keep track of your stuff and at the end you need to sign a paper that you are not 100% sure that is complete. My suggestion is to use another company for packing and pack your stuff two-three days in advance.2. Movers damaged my sofa chair and the way that company handle that was bad and degrading. Here is the story, On the moving day, the movers damaged the chair when they wanted to move that to the Truck. It was torn from different spots. I talked with the driver and he told me that he checked my stuff in advance and there was nothing wrong with the chair so I can claim that later on. I reported that right away to the agent and she told me the exact same thing. I ask whether I should document anything, they said NO. So, I filled a claim form in early September. No answer for a while. After calling the claim center couple of times they asked me to keep the chair in the exact same place that they moved it to till the time that they send someone to check that. Finally, they did that (in late October). But again no update. I had to call them again and again. I didnt want to keep a damaged chair in my apartment for holidays (definitely they dont care). Finally in early December, they told me that they conclude that it was not their fault and the chair was damaged before they moved that. I just could not believe it. I felt so bad, not because they damaged my chair but because the way that they handle that. So, I called them again, and this time was even more humiliating. They offered me to give me some goodwill money!!!! They cannot even understand what they did. Anyway, here is my other suggestion, dont sign papers till the time that you check everything and make sure that they gonna handle your claim.3. You may lose your stuff. As I said before, the way that they handle the labeling and moving was confusing. In the moving day, I tried to make sure that they put everything on the truck. They supposed to deliver my items in two days and I didnt know that they gonna put my items in a new truck after that. So they delivered my stuff in a new truck and based on their own labels, everything seems to be ok. But obviously I couldnt check inside boxes for a while. After opening the boxes, I noticed that I cannot find couple of my stuff. Again, I filled another claim, but Ive not heard from them yet and I dont think that they care that much to handle that for me. That is another reason that Im suggesting to use another company for packing if you still want to work with them!
My experience when it comes to Berger when moving is expect to be screwed by the salesman and be indebted to the truck driver.I have to start and say that our driver and the loading and unloading crews were amazing. They were more than helpful and were willing to help us with special, delicate items. Our driver was great, he kept us continuously informed about our move and where everything was and delivered ahead of schedule.Now, lets get to the business office side of things...a complete opposite experience. They scheduled to have an outside technician come to unhook and lock our washer/dryer. After I had to call and ask where this person was and an hour after the crew finished moving everything out, the technician showed up. They said that their original person fell through and had to call a secondary person. I was annoyed but fine. Then came the unpacking, where I had already paid for a second technician to show up and unlock the washer/dryer. Again no one showed up. I called and demanded a refund for both technicians and was told that I could get partial refund for the arrival side since no one showed up. It is three months and I am still waiting for that refund.On a final note, I will be happy to edit this review based on the future actions of Berger. It is up to them to receive continued reviews about their failure to refund customers as promised or to set everything right and not charge customers for their failure to contract with reliable technicians and ensure that a second technician shows up.
It has been 4 weeks since they packed me up and they still have not shipped my items. They have consistently told me different deadlines of when they will send my items which they then fail to do. Terrible service. Will never work with them again. If you want to pay 100s of dollars to them so that they will take 4 weeks to ship 6 boxes, then this is the company for you.
I can’t say enough about how great this moving experience was. There was a point where I thought my huge fridge would not fit into my new house, but they kept at it and got the job done. Quick, on time, and efficient, while keeping everything safe and undamaged. If I could give six stars, I would.
As of date we still have not received our belongings from Texas. Inside person went on vacation and apparently every thing stops. We had a move in date of 9/9/17 to our new home, emailed on 9/8 and said we were ready for our belongings. An entire week went by with no information but we sure got the legal paperwork to sign.The men that moved us were pigs. They left their trash behind for us to pickup drank all our water and other beverages, I certainly dont mind sharing bit we were taken advantage of. We dont even know if the guy we paid to come disconnect ever showed up we didnt have all day to wait on him.The men that came the day before were awesome! Clean and efficient. We offered them water as well but they didnt take advantage of us.I see they only answer on here if you have good things to say, so far it appears we chose the wrong company.I gave a 2 star because of the packers certainly not because of anything else. I agree with getting screwed by the salesman. Weve asked several times what form of payment and the total cost and have yet to hear a word from him. Shame on you. Very poor customer service. And it is 9/11 and still no communication.
Although Berger Allied was not needed to move me in the end, the customer service provided during the initial phases was spot on. I was contacted within 24 hours of asking for a quote, and Ken walked me through the quote process painlessly. Also, hes a nice guy and takes pride in communicating with his potential clients. He kept in contact over the course of a couple of weeks while I waited for other quotes to trickle in (some places took weeks to contact me, while others didnt at all. I found that amazingly disappointing.). After all quotes were received, I still found Kens quote with Berger to be the most honest and reasonable. I was in the process of scheduling the move and signing paperwork when plans changed and their moving services were no longer necessary. If you are looking for a quick-to-respond, honest quote, Id recommend you give Berger Allied a call and ask for Ken. Ill consider them again in the future.
This has been of the easiest moves we have ever experienced the guys arrived on time and they made sure that they were careful with all of our belongings and Mann these guys weren’t messing around they move fast they literally moved me from my old house to the new one in about 3 hrs we will definitely be using Berger for our next move thanks a bunch to the whole Berger staff

2022-04-09From step one with the sales person (Ronnie)to moving coordinator (Ena)to our driver (Scott). Great job too to bottom. Everything from pricing to communication was top notch. I would gladly recommend Berger Allied to any looking for van line. Our move was 1800 miles and these 3 people took a lot of the stress out of the move. Martin and the unloading team were hard working and professional.I still need to determine how the goods fared as it us currently in storage.

2022-01-07Their service was exceptional! They delivered and installed my furniture with thought and care, and had called 30 min before arrival to make sure I would be ready for them. Both service techs wore their masks throughout the entire process, as well. Would use them for large deliveries again.
