Joseph answered my call today, super nice and helpful. Scheduling was an easy fit for my needs. We get to have our regular person (Brandon) out to treat our home. Berrett Pest Control always does a fantastic job they are very professional with great results. Thanks Berrett.
We have a standing service agreement with Barrett. They’ve always been professional, and on the rare occasion we need them between services, they’re quick to respond and very understanding. Their office staff is even super helpful and apologetic for any extensive hold times.
Called to get a quote and while the sales person did a good job of explaining the process he didn’t mention that he was selling me a subscription service. I only realized this when I saw the agreement and when I asked about it, I was told bluntly that I should find another service if I wasn’t interested in the subscription. I appreciate they’re pushing the subscription service because it’s likely more effective and takes care of the problem however as a customer, I expect you to be upfront and honest about contract terms. When I find out while signing the agreement there’s no need to be rude. I personally find such sales tactics distasteful. They lost my business because they’re misleading.
I contacted the company regarding some service issue concerns. I was completely frustrated but the customer care representative Christina was excellent. She was able to defuse the situation , address the issues and provide resolution. she was professional, patient and respectful the entire time
I would absolutely recommend this company to my friends and clients. Everyone I have interacted with has been nothing but polite and on time. It’s always refreshing when you find a good company to do business with. Shout out to Glenn and Julie for being so awesome in assisting me to help my elderly neighbor when she was in need. I hope I don’t need their services soon but if I do they will be the first people I call.
I had a huge Yellow Jacket nest in an old sofa and honestly, wasn’t sure it anyone would be able to take care of this mess, but Matt did an AWESOME job!! He went above and beyond in taking care of this problem and I could not be happier with the outcome. The price was perfect and they didn’t try to force me into a monthly service. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them for any future needs.
I called to have my home exterminated due to seeing an increase in activity. I saw a dramatic drop in pests, and will be having them come out again after the two week mark to ensure the cycle is broken. There plans are affordable and do not lock you in for a full year term! The flexibility, pricing and wonderful customer service will keep us as customers!
Great service. Very professional and would recommend. I always read reviews prior to calling. They have almost a prefect 5 star rating. We just moved into a rental and wanted to make sure we didn’t have any pest control issues. We did have have huge ant piles in the backyard and they made sure to address every issue.
Customer Service, LaSonya, was great at helping me reschedule my appointment (5 stars). I like the text message reminders about the appointments too. There have been many occasions I repeatedly told them not to bug me by calling my cell phone when I am at work. However, the techs will still call to ask if they can show up sooner than scheduled (3 stars). Overall, average is 4 stars.
Your Review: (5 Stars)Jeremy did not do a good job, he did a phenomenal job, he came here and entered my attic armed with only a screwdriver, a hand-held pressure spray bottle to treat the rafters, and a plastic container of magic dust. He cleared 40+ dirt Dobber nests. 30 minutes he came out of the attic and said what else, I replied nothing that he had done what I asked him to do. Jeremy replied my job is not complete, he went above and beyond and treated my weep holes around my house with the magic dust and went on to spray all my eves and the bottom of my house, and he sprayed the inside of my enclosed patio. Then he went on to treat my shop inside and out, which has never been done before. It is refreshing to see someone with such professionalism and mannerism who displays so much energy to do the job right. He explained what all the chemicals were used for and after that, he treated all my flower beds with granules. I will be using Jeremy as my preferred technician from her out. Jeremy, thank you for the outstanding work!!!!
Do not use this company. Do not waste your time with them. They are complete liars and scammers. They say they came to my house to fulfill a service but nobody did. Absolutely no one came to my house for months. No one reached out either as to why. They forgot about the customer service they were obligated to provide. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. My experience with this company is worse than if I actually withdrew money and if I flushed it down the toilet for 9 whole months. They are slimier than the roach I found in my house today. Which appeared because nobody has fulfilled the services I paid for. When a customer is unhappy, you have to actually make up for your mistakes AND ADDRESS THE ISSUE IMMEDIATELY instead of MAKING THEM WAIT FOR YOUR RESPONSE FOR WEEKS. Save your money or try an actually honest and ethical company.
I’ve had their pest control service for years. Their unlimited service is a life saver. On several occasions they have responded to pest issues that have come up with my short term rental, and their services are really professional. They are trusted professionals and have the right solutions for a range of pest control issues. It’s been great subscribing to this service.
We have been using their service for half a year, but now the situation has not improved at all, and it has become more and more serious. I checked our camera, and their technicians just fooled around when they came to service, and left in less than 5 minutes. Highly do not recommend their services.
Hadnt had the work done yet when I rated the 4 star. I give Letha 5 star for her professional assistance but since then Ive had service done and Im still having issues with fleas. Cant give a rating on actual service until they have an opportunity to address my fleas again.
First of all Letha was great on the phone when I called and answered all the questions that I had. The price was great, the service was great, they came out a few hours after I called and quickly serviced the problem. Now we wait and hope this takes care of the ant problem.
I recently received my normally scheduled pest treatment and about a week later we started hearing noises in our attic. I called Berrett back to see if they could get someone back to the house to inspect the attic. Julie was very knowledgeable, courteous and quickly found someone to come back out for rodent extermination.
Don’t waste your time! I’ve been using them for 10 months now and there has been no change to the cockroaches in our house. I let them know and was told a new technician would come out and try other options for pest and they sent the same person out. Very frustrating that I’ve wasted over 500 dollars with them and still have the same problem.
So to begin with, the guy who did the original inspection was very unprofessional and brought a regular flashlight. A special infrared one is supposed to be used. No bugs were found but i bought the package of 3 extermination services because i had been bitten up by bed bugs in a hotel. I had to cancel the last service and was told i could resschedule even if it were months later. The phone call was recorded. No manager was available everytime i called for almost 2 weeks to reschedule. Was told a manager would call me back every time I called but never did. The last time I called I was put through to a manager in billing. She told me I had had to reschedule within 30 days. I explained how the guy I cancelled with told me I could reschedule months later. She told me the contract hoad to be honored and they were aware he had given me the wrong info. But that didnt matter. And told me the guy I talked to was no longer employed there and didnt know the correct rules. They wouldnt issue me a refund either. They didnt care. I was lied to and they took no actions to make it right. Just kept my money and didnt finish the service I paid for.They responded for show but never contacted me.. This is later after their response. They are not honest and totally cheap. They lie to you to get your money.
Berrett Pest Control was amazing!We moved into a new home and discovered German roaches were already there a few days after moving in. We had already had another pest control company come out the previous week to do a preventative treatment. When we called them to let them know about the problem we discovered, they scheduled us for their “soonest available” which was in one week’s time.I was not okay with waiting an entire week for the problem to get worse. I called Berrett and was slightly distressed at that time, unsure what to do or what was going on. Mike answered the call and was extremely polite, helpful and calming. He was able to arrange for same day service for the problem.Ruben was our technician and arrived at our home that afternoon. He did a very thorough job, was very kind, answered all of our questions, gave us directions for treatment and prevention, and reassured us regarding the issue.We will definitely be making the switch full time to Berrett! I sign up for service the initial day was two weeks ago they were suppose to come and treat my house and leave a mosquito buckets. They half spray my back yard and did not leave the mosquito buckets. I called a week later and they mention that they had run out but will come back the following Saturday I waited till 4pm when i get a called that they need to reschedule because they ran out of mosquito buckets again. I called the office and they rescheduled me for Tuesday. Poor service will not due business with this company, a company that don’t cares for their customers.
I bought a newly constructed home. Fleas started appearing in the backyard during spring/summer and starting entering through the back door. Barret came twice and did nothing to the resolve the issue. I washed my hands of this pest control company and called Orkin. Orkin resolved the issue on the first visit. They treated indoors and the backyard. Berrett is a waste of time and money.
Abby was absolutely wonderful. So helpful, and very professional. We set up the quarterly agreement and she was also able to arrange to have a technician come out today, same day service! And on a Saturday. I used Berrett one year ago and received the same professional service from Abby and the technician. I would definitely recommend this business. Thank you so much, Abby!
When the technician Angel came out on Monday he called the other technician that does powder dust of the attic and somehow was miscommunicated was not on the schedule. I was waiting all this time until I called to find out what was going on. this is the first time Ive had any problems but mistakes do happen so Im giving them another chance by resetting the appointment this time through the company for Friday between 4 and 6 PM.
I have not had this service call yet. Just scheduled it. But LaShonya was excellent at customer service.Unfortunately, I have had this business out to try to eradicate ghost ants from my home, and they have not been able kill them or keep them from getting into other rooms of the house. Disappointed in their product so far. This will be their fourth try. If the ants come back, I’ll need to look elsewhere.The people they hire are nice. But I need to get the job done.
Very Reliable and if they couldn’t make it the scheduled day they always called to reschedule and they always called when they were on their way also super friendly customer service .Joseph was very helpful in scheduling my next appointment when services were overdue and helping me make payments
Horrible company don’t get the service !!!! The technician went for 5 minute and said there was nothing, the service it’s horrible don’t waste your money they charge me more than 100 for that 5 min service and they kept on charging my card afterwards eventhough I previously cancelled it. , charges of 45 dollars that I had to report as unrecognized charges. Then they called me and threat me that they were gonna send me to collection. But I’m not gonna pay for a service that I didn’t even get and horrible quality.
Travon was the representative for Berrett pest control. Travon was personable and understood my need. Great representative and explained the process of what his company would be performing. Rosendo was the technician who provided the treatment. Very professional and explained the treatment process. Çustomer service was superb. Thank you to Travon and the rest of the team.
Ive had a very good experience with them. The times I have called they encourage me to set up a time for service if i have any problem. The man that comes by is respectful and I dont have to tell him how to do his Job!Like the way they work with us on any issue we might be having at any given time, whether it be to ask any questions really…and what kind of bugs are bugging us at the time. I have used Berrett Pest Control for over three years and everytime they come they do a great job inside and out. I have dogs and cats and I have no bugs. Whenever I call the staff is very polite and kind and veary informative. I called 2 minutes before closing and Julie answered the phone. I was really pleased that she did that, and …. she was friendly and very helpful. The bugs have vanished! Any time we have a scheduling issue, we’re able to move our appointment easily. Julie helped me out and offered another time. They provide an email, text, and phone call to remind you of your appointment. Our technician Kenneth is awesome with our dogs and does a great job. We’ve had the service several years now and haven’t had any issues.

My experience with the customer service was quick, simple and she took care of my issues. I’m scheduled soon for my home service and j can’t wait. I called this morning to schedule an appointment to take care of a an new insect issue we have in our home. The person who answered the phone was very professional and helpful. She took the time to listen and to ask questions to get a thorough understanding of our situation. She then took ownership of the problem and offered a solution that worked perfectly for us and made sure that the timing of the next appointment met our needs. Thankfully, this high level of customer service is routine and very much appreciated. It is great to do business with a company who has a wonderful group of professional and responsive employees.
Basic pest control on a home . Signed a four month contract and they continue billing after. Read fine lines. They bill , with NO service until you call in, write in , etc. will not use again. I think that is sneaky , charging after a 4 month contract. Service was neither good nor bad. They were nice the first spraying ; but , didn’t like my calling back the second time - I felt. Called back soon after….I had moved in recently and had them come out .
Ive been a customer for at least 6 years and have never considered switching despite many sales pitches trying to get me to switch. Berrett does what they say. Theyre friendly, helpful and responsive at a reasonable price. Their mosquito service is particularly good. We live by a lake with lots of mosquitoes and we did not notice any around our house all summer. I recommend Berret.
They are very responsive! I called and Vanessa was able to quickly identify me and the service location. She was so nice and got me set up quickly! She was very pleasant to speak with and answered my questions with a natural friendly ease. It was a pleasure speaking with her!

We were having a rat issue at our office and Berrett Pest came out the very next day from the call and immediately addressed the issues. They also recommended items to repair and maintenance to do around the office to address rats and eliminate them all together. Excellent customer service.
One of the best service experiences I have had. We had our first service the very next day after I called. Dylan did an exceptional job with the treatment. He also explained how the treatment works and what to expect with our quarterly plan. Also the best price plan I have found in the Houston area!

I was trying to schedule some work for my mothers house without success until I was connected with Julie. She listened to my issues and asked if she could call me back after getting needed information. She called me back within 10 minutes and everything was already resolved - including personally speaking with my mother to get her the date and time she wanted for the appointment. Thank you Julie!

The technician are ver professional and always provide a detailed explanation of what they are doing and the benefits. I’m sure there are cheaper options out there. But for me I’m very happy with the value and quality of their service
Tech was unprofessional. Complaining about coming out to do what he is supposed to do & how he wasn’t getting paid to do it. Made me feel as if I was the problem bc they scheduled him at a time that wasn’t comfortable for him. Then to cancel my membership would be $100. Who wants a membership after that..the nerve..don’t waste your money people! Customer service was friendly but that’s where is started & ended!

Arrived on time and the earwigs were gone after a couple days! also have a month warranty which is great so we can double book to get rid of those eggs the earwigs will leave behind! I was very hopeful about this company due to the rave reviews, however I was very much let down by their unprofessionalism in the office. The pest control itself was not an issue, but when you have to take time out of your day to contact a company each month it is exhausting. First problem was I was sold a termite subscription due to the termites that were in my area and the rep went on and on about the damage these particular termites cause. Then, when I received the confirmation email for the update it clearly states the company WILL NOT cover those particular termites she was going on and on about! Second problem, my service was cancelled without my knowledge and I had to contact them when I had not been charged. The rep was really nice and helpful so I thought, until 2 more issues arose from that conversation, fast forward 2 most later I am taking the morning off from work just to contact them once again and in the end chose to cancel after being overcharged because they made an error on their end and fail to document as meticulously as I do. IF the business office had a better understanding on how to handle the business it would probably be fine but all of the confusion in that dept has caused more problems that it was worth choosing this company initially.**the time to make something right is when a customer is actively on the phone asking if anyone is able to assist further and they are told there is not!
Sent a message on Yelp for a quote to take care of a rat problem in the attic. Received a quote for right around $200 to take care of it. The sales person came out to take a look and told me they wouldn’t take care of the rodents unless I signed up for a 4 month contract to spray for bugs too, which I didn’t have a real problem with in the first place. I agreed because it was explained as though they would be coming out monthly, as there would be a monthly charge of $41. The tech came out to perform the service and told me the charge was $300 instead of the initially quoted $200 and all they really did was put some bait boxes outside and lay some snap traps. I will say the rodent problem was taken care of within two weeks, but I was continually charged monthly the $41 each month but nobody came out to perform any service. I tried to call to cancel the service but was told that I have to call back on the day my 4 month contract ends to cancel, as the can NOT cancel before or put any cancel request in before the 4 mo contract expired/renewed. So to sum it all up, I got my rat problem taken care of quickly for the amount of $423. I don’t see as many bugs but it wasn’t a real issue to begin with and hind sight being 20/20, I could have picked up 8 snap traps and a couple glue traps and placed them myself for about $100 at Lowe’s. They are effective in what they do but I just don’t see the value for what they charge.
Great technician. Had a great personality and kind. He talked with us to find out exactly what we were experiencing and told us not to hesitate if we needed to contact them again. Very thorough. Great person on your team. And they worked with us on pricing and have very convenient times on when they can come out.
Brandon was the exterminator that came toto my residence. He was before estimated arrival time which was awesome for me. The earlier the better. I have used this service before with a different gentleman and he was not as thorough as Brandon. Brandon worked outside and inside in my residence. He knocked down a wasps nests and took his time into looking for other little critters around. He not only took his time and made sure to answer any questions and concerns I had. I liked his service so much I usually dont leave reviews but he definitely needed one. I will be asking for him again. Thank you Brandon.
Im extremely happy with the service provided by Mr Reginald Chapman at our property. He clearly has customer satisfaction in mind. This is the second time he serviced my property and Ive noticed a big difference. He is available to answer questions and even texted me while he was in my backyard to double check where exactly there had been sightings of red ants which is one of the pest we are controlling. He has a warm smile and friendly demeanor and his phone manners are of someone who understands the importance of customer service and customer satisfaction. Highly recommend!

2022-06-18My wife and I had our home treated in December 2021 for termites based what we thought were termites and on Berrett’s professional technician’s inspection on December 11, 2021. I paid the technician, as well as purchasing a 1-year warranty. To quote the 1-year warranty, “Retreatment warranty of Termites if the Termites should reappear, Berrett will provide treatment to eliminate Termite infestation, and will continue to provide retreatments until said infestation has been completely destroyed.”On December 13, 2021, Berrett’s technician arrived and treated my home.On May 22, 2022, I noticed termites coming out of my outdoor kitchen and notified Berrett.On May 25, 2022, Berrett technician came out and stated I didnt have termites because he couldnt see them and said the damage and markings was not termites (even though it was the same soil markings/damage as they originally sold us in December). Moreover, I showed the technician the photos (shown below) my wife took on May 22, 2022, of the termites, he said they were nothing to be worried about and looked like flying ants. After him trying to sell me another total treatment and much discussion. The technician stated the best he could do is treat the area in the picture but anything else would be extra, of course he would have to ask his boss and the office to approval. Neither he nor anyone from Berrett contacted me.Here is the first technician seeing there was a problem but sticking with his story about there not being any termites.On June 1, my wife noticed one of the structural columns on the patio split open between the Hardie plank with termites coming out of the column, so we notified Berrett again. This is the same column the technician was telling me there is no signs of them a few days later.On June 6, Berrett second technician came out and stated they treated for the wrong termites in December and would have to retreat for the correct ones, but we would have to pay for the service.These folks do not reply, do not honor their warranty or work, try to get additional payment for work they may or may not have done properly the first time. For the safety of my family, I had a different pest control company come out and treat the columns today and they agreed that this wasn’t an over night issue. I know there are many people that cannot afford termite treatment initially, but no one can afford the damage of their home not begin treated properly the first time (as per Berrett technician – the company that did the initial treatment). My family’s safety depends on the structural columns as that is my son’s pay area. Moreover, Berrett has not stood on their warranty we paid extra for…

2022-05-26Happy with services by technicians so far. They have come to the house twice so far, and are polite, friendly and professional. Mosquito service has been successful it seems. Our patio is more comfortable than same time this year when we were being eaten alive.Joseph (customer service) is polite, professional and helpful. He answered all of my questions today about tomorrow’s second mosquito service, and made a note on my account about spraying a particular area without me even requesting it.

2022-08-06I called and was able to get a technician out the same day! My first call was with Mike. He asked what’s “bugging you today?” He was friendly, fast, amazingly knowledgeable and listened to my needs. On the same day a tech William showed up earlier than expected. This was great for me. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. He was fast, friendly, and efficient. I signed up for preventative pest inspection and maintenance. Highly recommended.

2022-05-09We have been with Berrett for over a year now. They are amazing! Their contracts are minimal in comparison to the other companies. They earn and keep your business by being the best and treating you as the best! They dont need to lock you in contracts to keep you. Our tech is fabulous, and the operators are professional and kind. Love this company and appreciate all those who strive for superiority within it!

2022-08-11This company’s rating might be artificially high. Once I got off the initial call, the scheduler sent a link and asked me to rate him. He was helpful so I did. But while doing the review I noticed it’s a public review of the overall company and it’s service (which hadn’t been performed yet, we only scheduled a date). Company and service may be great, but that’s left to be determined. Just be informed as you select based on rating. Kind of misleading. I’ve removed the stars and will re-do once service is provided and results are measurable.

2022-05-06So far have had a really good experience with Berrett Pest Control. April in the office is friendly and helpful. Leslie, the tech who takes care of us is polite, on time, and did a really good job explaining what to expect after he treated our house/ yard. We have had one treatment so far and signed up for the package. Substantial improvement in the numbers of bugs seen since the first treatment. They are coming out again to get rid of the rest. No issues at all scheduling a repeat visit. We have had a really hard time with fire ants so very pleased with the improvements seen so far. Would recommend.

2022-08-03Joseph and Matt were so very sweet and professional! Upon finding an example of our uninvited guests crawling under my desk, Matt took the time to take care of it for me. He was 20 minutes early for our inspection which really helped the day move along! Joseph showed excellent client service and compassion over the phone. He gave me time to explain the issue, not rushing me through the process. The best extermination service you can get, thanks guys!

2022-05-02Barrett Pest Control is an awesome service that I came across on my search for choosing the right service for my household. Pet friendly, super professional and very responsive. They come quarterly and if I see anything else, they are just a phone call away. I dont provide much feedback but this Company goes above and beyond my expectations!!Also wonderful staff!!!!
