I want in to purchase a few. PS4 games that I had been trying to find, customer service was excellent, not only did I find the games I was looking for but they sales rep informed me that if I could find it cheaper at any other dept store that they would match to sale price. And I got in my phone and found it $30. Cheaper and they matched it. Love this place.
The Blue shirt boys gather up in groups as talk and play on phones, they act as if you’re asking a question or for help in making decisions on a purchase is INVADING their conversation.Store has a lot of items out of stock which might be due to holidays but still, if you have that many employees standing about, maybe put them towork cleaning or train them in how to be courteous because standing around geeking out over their phones, avoiding customers paints a bad picture for your ENTIRE STORE.We had money to spend Best Buy but your Blue shirts made sureWe will not be returning.
We went in looking for an extended memory for my nephews Xbox. I had no clue what I was looking for! My friend and I walked around a little bit and asked an associate for help and she said they were out of stock and it would have to be ordered. We were disappointed since that was the reason we went to Best Buy! We walked around a little more and asked a different associate for help. Im SO glad we asked him since he took us straight to where we needed 😌 🙌 he let us know that extended memory for computers also worked for game systems! I would of never known!! We told him about having asked the other associate and his response was management hires a lot of young people and they dont always know much about technology. Seems like proper associate training is something Best Buy can improve on.
Hmm, this Best Buy was okay. We were visiting from out of town and needed a charger for a battery. The expert was indisposed and we were left with someone on their cell phone checking out information we could have searched on our own. 4 stars because as we were walking out the door, the asset protection guy was promoting their credit card.Never in my life as a former employee or a consumer have I ever seen these guys do anything but joke around, ignore people, or actually look at the screen in front of them. Kudos to that guy. He needs a raise!
The place is big and has plenty of parking. It is at the end of the road to the mall so it is quiet. The inside was clean and organize. Masks are required but no temperature check.I found my item easily and fast and the best part was that the cashier, Madison I think was the name on the tag, cleans really well and desinfects the checkout for every single customer.Really good experience.
Went to look for earbuds for my daughter. I stopped a guy and asked where there where and did they have any for kids. He was like ugh....we have these and pointed to the most expensive and another very expensive ones. Then I said ok thank you very much. Reached down picked up some there were $14.99 and the only pair left and the box said mini ...so win win for me.
Best buy was great even tho I was only there for a return,lol, which ended up not even being their item even tho it scans in their system??They were pretty helpful, only got an attitude from 1 customer service rep, lol,I honestly dont shop their anymore, not because of them or a specific reason, but its more at my age I already have what I want or need, now I did have to go buy a modem and Best buy was the only place that had a fast enough modem to handle what my needs were and still are!Have fun, be safe, make memories,✌
Super friendly! We arrived 5 minutes after 8pm thinking they closed at 9pm to pick up an online purchase.. (the web site said they close at 9, but they close at 8) they still brought out our purchase!!! Thank you to the young men at the door & in the back who brought it out instead of telling us to come back tomorrow!!!!
Ive typically had decent experiences in-store (when they actually have what I need in stock) so this review is more so aimed at the appliance purchasing process.I ordered a washer/dryer set months ago when they were on sale, set it to be delivered this past Thursday, took off of work for the day, and Thursday mid-morning comes around and I get a text that the dryer wont be delivered as they havent received it from the vendor. I get that there are delays but cancelling the morning of doesnt work. Beyond this, Ive been bouncing between phone calls and online messaging with Best Buy to get the delivery either rescheduled or refunded. Ive been transferred over 10 times at this point with each person giving a different and conflicting answer. At this point, it is looking like my dryer wont be delivered for at least 2 months and theyre doing everything they can to avoid refunding the order (and by doing everything they can I dont mean offering a discount or partial refund, I mean transferring me or not directly answering my questions). I suppose I will continue arguing with them to get my money back, but I can assure you,I will never order an appliance from Best Buy again.
I would like this place if I didnt have to scour half of the building to find someone that can help me since just about everything requires employee assistance. I avoid coming here altogether because of how unwanted my service feels. Employees are nowhere to be found, and if they are seen, they tend to avoid interaction rather than offer assistance. I feel like I have to almost beg to give this business my money. I will gladly spend more online to get the item shipped than go through the unnecessary struggle of trying to buy anything here. This has happened to me while trying to buy $100 earbuds or a $3,000 laptop; no matter how much youre looking to spend, the employees couldnt care less either way.I make an effort to avoid shopping here whenever I can.
They are the only place in Amarillo, that had thermal paste available for purchase. Now if I could just get them to give me a line of credit. Oh I got my Boost Mobile Hotspot from there also. They took care of all the leg work. All I had to do when I got home was plug it in. Thanks Best Buy.
I am from Amarillo, but I live in the DFW area now and this Best Buy location is still my favorite to shop at. The manager, Andrea always goes out of her way to make sure that I am taken care of when I come in. I recently visited this location when I was in town because I needed a new phone. Andrea and her associate David got me all set up and made sure I had all the right stuff before sending me on my way (including the cutest Coach iPhone case). This store just feels like home and will always be my number one choice, even if it is 5 hours away. Thank you, Andrea and David!
I went in just a browse and see what was new, still no Xbox or PlayStation 5. Very disappointing, I was hoping to get my grandkids some of them. I can buy them offline for over $1,100 each which I believe is more of a scam than anything else. Come on Best buy get it in gear lets get these things out for Christmas
Terrible customer service. Could not get help in the appliance department, when I spoke with the gentleman at the door , about how bad the store sucked he agreed. The store manager also agreed that the store sucked. What does that tell anyone, when members of management knows there is a problem and they just accept it? Curbside pick up is a joke, don’t bother parking in the assigned spots just pull up in front of store, apparently they can only bring orders that far into the parking lot.Called corporate about this, don’t believe the person on the phone put anything in the computer concerning my complaint. Will update this post if I ever get a call back from corporate. Don’t hold your breathe, that I’ll get a call.
Looking for a dryer. Only place we looked that had the dryer in their warehouse. 1 week delivery vs 3+ at other places. Also least expensive base price on the dryer we had researched and selected. Sales person very friendly and helpful. Offered deals without being pushy, and explained every thing well.
Bring your football gear because you are going to have tackle a store employee in order to get any of them to help you. The guy in the front (where you walk in) is worthless! Might as well bring a mirror and ask yourself where the product you are looking for is at. Sad part is all their stores are the same. God willing if I ever hit the lottery I will open the same kind of store and easily close down that competing Best Buy. How you ask? Easy...it is called CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I have a horrible experience with my saleman name Patrick!!!! Firstof all, he assist me with very unprofessional service. He’s rude and unhelpful. I order a LG top washer and he had put it down as Samsung washer with different order number. I didnt realized it was a wrong order til’ they deliver 2 weeks later. Overall, its not a good experience at Best Buy. They need to train their employees bwtter.
Went here to meet family who were in town to buy a router and battery backup. They found both and werent disturbed by the price. We enjoyed the visit. Personnel were kind and knowledgeable. My daughter was just looking at a Motorola One Ace which she bought at T-mobile for $100 less.
Went in about 30 minutes before they closed looking for a laptop.Me being indecisive took much longer than the 30 minutes but the associates assured me I was no bother and I walked out with a great laptop for my needs. Never felt rushed or guilted.Only docking a star for lack of inventory but thats everywhere nowadays.
I walked around looking for an item for about 20 minutes before I found it on my own with zero help from the workers. Place was dimly lit and everyone seemed busy with a single customer each that even 20 minutes later they were still working with. Move on and come back to them later, dont just stick with them and leave everyone else hanging. Two employees in the PC section were just standing there staring at everyone.
Horrible customer service. I scheduled an appointment to come in and I stilll had to wait for more than one hour. I dont mind the waiting but no one want to bother helping. Only one lady was nice to me but she must be new, the older lady keep ordering her around so she was not able to help me afterall.
This is one of the, if not worst, Best Buys that I have ever been to. The employees are unhelpful and always judging you, especially when youre leaving the store, I have never been racially profiled that many times in the same place. One time my father and I went to by a mouse and to order a laptop, we left with a plastic bag holding the mouse we bought in store, and when we got to the exit we were stopped and our bag was checked, which would be fine if the same level of care was put on everyone walking out! A young white couple walked out with a cart full of items and they were not checked at all. I dont ever want to return this best by again if I have to.
Love this place and the many options that they have as far as electronics go. Yesterday had to wait quite a while in the line for geek squad to pick up my computer. They only have two people working the counter for that area at this time. They are very friendly and helpful, but I think they need more help to keep people from being rude or irritated due to the long lines.
Pre-ordered my iPhone 13 on Sept 17th Came in and asked about the delay, I got an email saying it was going to get cancelled if I didnt get by Oct 22. They told me my order wouldnt actually get cancelled when I came in and asked about it. I got another email today saying it was cancelled and I was no longer going to receive my order. Awful customer service that couldnt seem to give me a solid answer.
Employees and management are very helpful and professional, they go out of their way to help you. I bought my ultra HD 4k television from there and they got me one out of the back that wasnt being displayed anymore. My daughter buys video games there all the time, and if they dont have it in stock they order it for her and it never takes more than a few days to arrive. I would recommend them to anyone and have done exactly that on multiple occasions.
I had terrible experience here. Curbside sucks. They said my items are ready and I waited for more than hours. So I went inside and ask, turns out, they havent even pack my stuff ready. I also had to wait hours inside to get my items. sucks. They really dont care about their customers.
My daughter bought some wireless ear buds online and she didnt like how they felt in her ear. She wanted to return them in-store so she could see other options in person. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the return process was super easy. But we were disappointed in the selection of wireless ear buds. She just got a refund and will buy some else where.
This is the only Best Buy in town so they got market cornered, but they are still efficient. Due to the holiday and pandemic they are offering curbside services. It takes a little but to get your order, but they were openly communicating the wait times. Great experience this holiday!
One of the worst and unhelpful best buys you can go to. All the employees will walk past you without seeing if they can help you. They expect you to stand around them and wait for them to get done doing whatever it is that their doing, sometimes its just talking to other employees. I was standing there for over an hour to see if I can get help and they kept skipping me to help people that look more adult than me. Screw this place. Never going again.
If you buy anything at Best Buy or rather Worst Buy be aware of their 15 day return policy. I live out of town and with the bad weather was unable to return unopened electronic cable boxes due to me being over by a week. Who knew.Worst Buy has received my last dollar. When I purchased the cables it took 45 minutes to find help. No one ever said they only had 15 day return policy. It’s a good scam on customers in my opinion. Poor customer service is what I’m saying.
We bought a Bosch refrigerator online from Bestbuy and had a delivery issue and COULD NOT CALL THE STORE to resolve the matter. The store does not take phone calls and theres no phone number on the email confirmation. This is the worst idea in customer service Ive ever seen.
The last of the Big Box stores of my youth? I can not really say, but I know that Best Buy is reliable, their senior staff is knowledgeable (and really enjoy geeking out if you are game) prices are perhaps higher than you will find at, say, Wallyworld, but then so is the attentiveness of the customer service and the quality of the brands sold.And besides, it reminds me of the TV show *Chuck* when I shop there which always brings a smile to my face.
Great place to shop for all the new gadgets and appliances. Very clean store and the people on the appliance department were very knowledgeable and helpful. Security was beefed up and followed me around everywhere to the point that I almost took a star off of this review. So if you look like me than prepare to be stereotyped as I was somewhat offended. However other than that theyre still getting my 5 star review. peace...
A bunch of lazy people work at this location.I Got an in store pickup, said they had 1 avaliable. When I put money down all of the sudden it wasnt going to be ready till the next week. Got on the phone with someone after a 45 minute wait they said they didnt have stock.Went to the store and asked the individual who works in the section I needed the item from and they found the exact item I ordered.Someone saw my in store pickup and didnt wanna go pull stock so pushed it on to someone else by making me wait a week to get the same box i was going to get same day.I will be doing online ship to home orders only from here on out. This place showed dishonesty.
I ordered a dryer Friday and scheduled delivery and installation for next week. Within a couple hours they were rescheduling the appt. Okay, no big deal. Same day, just different time-frame. By Sunday, less than 48 hours after purchase, they were calling to reschedule again for another day. Apparently, Im supposed to take time off work (available times were 7a - 1p or 12p - 8p) and cancel previously scheduled plans because of scheduling issues in Amarillo. Im aware many items are out of stock or on backorder and I didnt mind waiting a week. However, even the CSR said she couldnt guarantee they wouldnt call to reschedule again. Needless to say, I cancelled the order and am reminded why I dont shop at Best Buy. They were the cheapest and the only ones that werent weeks out on delivery, which is the only reason I used them this time as my old dryer went out. Pretty disappointed but I should have expected it.
Best Buy was AMAZING!! Our tv went out and we ordered a new one online. We were going to have to wait to pick since it was close to closing time. A phone call and some amazing help resulted in a quick turn around and pick up same day just minutes before closing! Thank you so much for rescuing my Mother’s Day!
Went in, cash (thousands) in hand(along with 4 CCards) knew exact what I wanted. Apple MacBook Air, Gold, All the accessories, etc...Everything is ready and rung up including like a four year plan with geek squad, but I was taking an exceptionally long time because I have several disabilities.The cashier and the manager became exceptionally rude and hateful telling me that if I didnt have the money or I didnt hurry up then I needed to leave the store immediately.I tried to explain that my phone had popped up an offer (which it does whenever Im in any store), that if I went ahead and put it on a Best buy credit card that I would get 0% financing for 18 months and a 10% discount on my purchase💥Whoot Whoot‼️ I thought YEA! Lets do that! I was going to apply right there at the cash register but I forgot my drivers license so they wouldnt allow me to apply for credit at the register. I decided to just apply for credit on my phone, it wouldnt take a second, however Best Buys building is made an entirely of metal with a brick exterior...and there was a situation with the slowness of the connection because of the building, and a disability.Te manager became even more rude continually coming over to the cash register over and over and over telling me that if I didnt speed it up that he was going to have me removed from the store by the police and have me trespassed. Keep in mind that I was making a $2,000+ purchase!He Ben said if you cant prove you have the money for this purchase then you need to get out. So I open my billfold showed him the several hundred dollar bills and said is this enough? And he said well I dont know I dont know what youre buying?!?! So I told him everything I was buying I stopped filling out my credit application I put my money back in my billfold and I said well it doesnt really matter now because Im taking my business and my money somewhere else and they can get the sale and Ill be contacting not only corporate but Ill be contacting the Better Business Bureau the Federal Trade Commission and Apple, which I have done! Oh and Ive also reported them for violating the Americans with Dsabilities Act!Enjoy your Shopping experience‼️‼️IF you have any kind of a DISABILITY that SLOWS you down even just a little TINY bit, please take your business ELSEWHERE‼️‼️😡😡😡😡
No a good experience at all. Went to return online product and girl couldnt find my order from my account - We had to take sticker our from the box to get order number. After 10 minutes of looking she just disappeared somewhere without telling me which was surprising and another person came to help me and I told her that she was helping me out and left somewhere. She told me she should be here somewhere and she stated she is Manager - Both of them were Very unprofessional. I would give 0 star to this kind of service.
Their cell phone accessories are not all in the same place which they should be. They eventually found the item which initially they said you did not carry. Then I asked for a compatible cord and they got me a cord but not a compatible one so Ill probably be returning that in the near future.
The Geek Squad associate that was doing the counter by herself most of the 2 1/2 hours I was there was patient, knowledgeable, multi tasking, proficient and unbelievably working like every customer she had a conversation with was the only person there even though for a short time there were 5 people waiting. Did not seem to rattle her at all.
Got a great radio that my husband and I wanted. I would leave five stars but we had to complain to the manager in order to get helped. We saw lots of workers pass by and most times you can not leave a best buy without being bombarded with employees asking if you need help. Lots of employees here were clearly over talking the customers over irrelevant stuff to what they needed help with but once we were helped it made sense that the employees here are actually super friendly and get caught up in conversation.
Was buying a laptop because we need one immediately. I was shocked by how small the selection was. Once I found the one I wanted it took forever to find someone to check out. Thankfully my cashier didnt try to hard sell me a bunch of services I didnt need. If it wasnt still a pandemic I would have given them 2 stars.

Absolutely terrible customer service from BestBuy.Trying to return an item is more painful than pulling teeth. Its absolutely ridiculous that returns in todays age are not as streamlined as they are on Amazon. These big box stores complain about Amazon yet they do nothing internally to change their culture and help the customer.First person was incredibly rude (doubt Google will let me really say what I think). Called back and second person had no idea how to do a return. Called back; third person was helpful but eventually put me on a 10 minute hole while they put me in contact with the manufacturer of the item and then left the call. Manufacturer and I were on the line and had no idea what was going on. Manufacturer later admitted that BestBuy does this all the time to them, expecting manufacturer to honor returns so Best Buy doesnt have to. Fourth call, finally, on hour later, found a competent person to assist with the return. The single star is for that individual, not BestBuy.Will not be buying from BestBuy in the future and would not recommend to friends or family.
Asked many times ifvqw needed help by multiple employees. But wasnt pushy. When we had made our decision the employee informed us of our purchase and quickly checked us our. We were met at front door with our purchase and had help loading. Paid less than other superstores and had better service.
Just had the worst customer service and experience from this Best Buy in Amarillo. I had purchased an Apple Mac book yesterday with Microsoft office, a antivirus, and the total tech support. After purchasing the computer I was told to leave it so that the tech support could install both of the softwares. I went in today to pick up my “Brand New” device from the store and upon pick up they told me that they were unable to install Microsoft office, which was fine. After getting home I tried to get into my Mac and they had set a password with out telling me or writing this password down. Not to mention that on top of that my name was misspelled. That was strike three for me. 10 minutes after gettin home I tried to return this Mac due to the geek squad not giving me a password and not setting this Mac up correctly. I was told that they could not return it but I would have to call total tech support for a return on the geek squad. And in return I would still have to pay for the “INCORRECT SERVICE” that the geek squad had provided. Which would be more expensive then just eating the 130.00 that I had paid. At this point I am very frustrated. How can a company charge for a service that was unacceptable on a brand new device? But I was told it was store policy, even if they couldn’t point that policy out to me in writing. Wether I am happy with the service or not I still had to pay for the service that was done, and done incorrectly at that! Being a business owner myself I believe that this is like stealing money from a customer and running away after the service was incorrect. I hope this will reach Andrea the General Manager or even much bigger due to the fact that you should not be in a customer service business and be able to rip people off, and not care.
Best Buy used to be pretty proficient in customer service, but hiring young kids with attitude is definitely not a good move 😒. Came up to the service desk to ask a question cause I had an appointment with the geek squad and the young girl was extremely hateful telling me I just needed to wait my turn for geek squad, even though my appointment was supposed to be 15 minutes prior.
I had to search the entire store for an hour, and then had to approach an associate myself (after being stared at by several others throughout said hour while looking noticeably dazed and confused without being offered any assistance, or even being spoken to at all) to be told that the items (dash kit and wiring harness for car stereo installation) I was in search of were not kept on the floor but in the back (why?!). The associate was friendly enough and SEEMED very knowledgeable. However, after being asked THREE SEPARATE TIMES for my year model (04), I was STILL given the wrong part (wiring harness for 99-02). After seeing how informed she appeared, I even took the harness out to make sure it wasnt just labeled wrong and was actually compatible with my cars year model, but alas, it was not. Just wow. Unfortunately we dont really have any other electronics stores in town, so this or Walmart is what Im stuck with. (I have a BMW, so parts are hard to come by and not typically carried by AutoZone or Advance, and the like...
Well pretty strait forward with my discontent for this store. Made an appoint to come get my phone fixed. Left work early, drove an hour through bad weather to get to the store - only to find out that the “guy” who fixes iPhones went home early. So now I’m driving back home, broken phone and 2 hours short on my paycheck for no reason. SMH.
The in-house Apple guy is always super sweet, kind, and patient. Even when 90% of our trips are to browse and price out future purchases, hes never pushy. The appliance section employees are also patient and understanding, and never too pushy - just enough that you know theyre trying to make a sale, but not so much that you feel pressured into a decision. All the latest tech was out and readily available for purchase, which I love, and the display models were in working order. My only negative is that the flooring could use updating and the restrooms are always in need of service when were there - this time, the stall I chose was nearly out of toilet paper, the floor was splattered with water and soap, and a roll of toilet paper had been dropped at some point and had unraveled all over the floor. I will, of course, be back many times over.
Brett was amazing! I think that was his name. He saw me looking around, lost and stopped what he was doing to help me. I went to Wal-Mart first and all their employees avoid any kind of interaction with customers. So thank you Brett for helping me and being so sweet and informative!
Very clean store that is well laid out and organized. The staff is helpful but not pushy. The prices are good for a brick and mortar store. Theyre starting to cut back in places to really compete with Amazon. Its nice to be able to touch some things before buying them.
If you go in to speak with someone they are AWESOME! If you try to call regarding the status of a delivery forget it. On hold with automated options and then if you actually get through to a human, they just transfer your call and on hold again for 20 minutes. I gave up and looked at my account online and the product that is supposed to be delivered doesnt even show up. Horrible. So if you have a question, you might as well get in your car and drive to the store. It actually would be faster.
Clean, good light. Seems well organized. Some associates are not knowledgeable, some are not friendly. Prices are buyer beware. If an item is not in stock, they might be able to order for you. You may be able to find items others dont have. I saw an electronic photo frame there I had not seen anywhere else. (Lg. Size)
The best staff always creates the best customer service! I seem to always have issues with anything I purchase at any store--i have always been 1 to pick the lemons of the bunch. However, the staff here has always gone above and beyond to ensure I am taken care of and that I leave satisfied. Bravo, Best Buy, it did not used to be that way!
We needed a charger for a laptop. When we walked in the door we were greeted by a man in a wheelchair. We told him what we needed and he asked a few questions then took us directly to the place we needed. They asked a few questions and we got the charger we needed and were in and out in 15 minutes.It was great!Great people!Great products!
I purchased a 5 cubic foot chest freezer from Best Buy a few months ago. Ended up returning it because it wouldnt turn on. Waited a few months and purchased a 7 cubic up right freezer last week. It turns on and works but the leveling foot on bottom was bent in packaging. I kept the freezer , hope it runs ok. The bottom where the leveling foot is was compromized.😑
Geek squad needs to have more staff. Every time I show up it’s at least a 30 minute wait before seeing someone. I was waiting for a 20 minutes and representative comes out for an appointment that was set.I’m just picking up a laptop that should ask people waiting what they need help with if it is quick then they can help. Also cross training would be beneficial. The lady in customer service has not helped one customer since I’ve been here. She could have got my laptop for me.The employees and staff are great once getting helped this is a just a workflow management issue.
I needed a printer and needed to be able to go into the store, get what I needed and get out because I was pressed for time. This Best Buy had a good selection of printers, reasonably priced. I found the one I needed, got extra ink and checked out quickly. All the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The cashier was exceptional. All around great experience.
Failed to keep delivery obligation. Failed to install a working product. Failed to replace the broken product they delivered and installed. Wont answer their local phone.And the second set of installation men messed up the floor by putting a gouge hole in it.If you want quality this is not the place.
As I was looking around the store, i was asked by every employee in the store if i needed help. I love that it is the only place in town where you can try on smart watches of all varieties. If there is another place like this, I dont know of it. They dont always have the best prices, but they always have great customer service and the best quality of electronics to view in person with demos on the floor.
My wife and I recently purchased new cell phones at the Amarillo Best Buy. I believe it is safe to say we are both technically challenged old folks. We would like to recognize both Nick M. and Tristan T. for their patience with us and thorough and clear explanations of the features and operation of our phones. It is the professional and considerate service provided by associates such as Nick and Tristan that have earned our loyalty to Best Buy.
Went in to refund a preorder because I had decided not to pick up the game. There were only two people in front of me in line but it still took over thirty minutes just to get to the counter. Once I got there, the person who was helping me had no idea how to process the refund and neither did her manager. Had intended to stick around and purchase something with my refund but the entire process took so long that I didnt have time once we finally got it resolved.
Ok, positives first, because my one complaint is a bit nit-picky, lol. The staff were friendly and helpful. They are doing a great job out there. I know times stink these days with all the extra stuff people have to do due to the pandemic. I appreciate the hard work theyre doing.I took a star off because of their lack of stock/selection for Samsung S10 Otterbox cases. Went with one I wasnt overly excited about for now, because I dont want my new phone to break. I will, however probably be back later on to check to see if they have more, specifically the purple Defender one.
Very helpful, friendly, awesome customer service. I recently came in looking at appliances. Sheila H. is the woman you need for this. She was very knowledgeable, and helpful in making my decisions on which ones were best for me, not pressuring or rushing me into buying anything. She price compared my appliances with other competitors to see if I could save any money by price matching. They may not be a hometown store but that the kind if service you get from Sheila. I havent had the privilege of going to/needing a trip to Best Buy; however, this time I was in the need of equipment/information on how to set up a home internet system And I was very pleased at the service I was provided and even was given a opportunity to have a expert come to the house and help set up the equipment that we needed but we first need to find an internet provider. Very pleased.
The gentleman assisting me in the purchase of a computer was very friendly, very honest, told me what I wouldnt want - and why (even used vehicle engines as a metaphor that Id understand because Im NOT technologically inclined, lol) - and helped me stay close to my budget for what I needed. Overall, a good experience!
I had a credit card dispute with them,I called so after listening to the computer voice for 10 minutes I was put on hold for 30 minutes and then got hung up on. I tried 3 more times and the same thing happened. I finally got someone and after explaining to him 3 different times the problems he hung up on me. I never got the problem solved.worse experience ever
I dont occasionally shop at Best Buy all the time, but I never had any trouble with the employees or other things. My family members get their electronics here everytime for a reasonable price. Id suggest this place if youre looking for new appliances or electronics.
Great place to see, touch and experience your electronics. The best buy app is very useful and can save some time shopping by letting you know what is in store. The is store pick up option was less than an hour - about 15 minutes. The staff are very helpful but not pushy.
The geek squad are like construction workers, theres 5 people at the counter and only one is helping customers.. I tried to ask one of the guys that was just standing there a question, he seemed bored by me and directed me to the guy that was helping customers.... Once I got help they seemed annoyed at the fact that I didnt have an appointment, I did try for 2 days to make one but they never answer the phone... When I told them that they said they would look into it.
Ordered something during black friday and. Went to get it curb side and they made us cancel the order because the accidently scanned the wrong apple care code to the product and couldnt fix it. I went to get an iPhone fixed waited 3.5 hours for them to tell me they couldnt.
Bestbuy has sales on items that they dont have in stock. For instance, Memorial day sale on Galaxy S21 ultra is on sale, but they dont have in stock, have no idea when they will get it in stock and will honor the sale price when they get it in stock.This is not the first time Bestbuy has pulled bait and switch.
I bought a computer in 2017 & I purchased geek squad service with it. Took it in and the geek guy had to Google what to do about my microphone issue. Then told me to buy this adapter. I questioned his knowledge so i asked a different guy and he looked at my headset cord and said that the adapter wouldnt help. The other geek guys wouldnt even look at it. Epic Fail in my eyes.
This is one of the best experiences I have had shopping anywhere lately. Zack, Jeremy and Jordan are excellent employees. I couldnt have made my purchase and got everything fixed the way I wanted it without them. I will always ask for them when I go in there if I dont see them. A lady checked me out today for another purchase and I didnt get her name, but she was so pleasant and helpful. If you need computers, appliances, phones, accessories, printers, etc. go to BEST BUY IN AMARILLO, it will make your day.
Sometimes we have good experiences. But then ... sometimes ... it is difficult to find someone to help us when we are needing help with a purchase or simply to find something. The Geek Squad area has been helpful to us on a few occasions and we appreciate that. Regarding purchases, we are pleased with what we have bought there in the past.
Always like best buy. Service here is just ok at best (to be fair its a regional thing - no one in Amarillo seems to care about anyone but themselves at all) so no 5 star rating, but good product selection, great service and repair / replacement options and a good variety of choices make Best Buy my go-to for electronics.
Used to have an awesome service plan which made me spend lots of money here. I havent been back much since they went to the third party nightmare service. Literally the awesome service plan was the only reason I bought here instead of Amazon. Now I sit at home order online from Amazon mostly. Hope someone at HQ is reading these and gets the message.
I didn’t have good experience with this place. For after sale service or when you’re seeking geek squad service, it takes more time and additional visits. I didn’t find the staff on the service desk that helpful as they should be.Regarding products they don’t have much options. Based on my experience I now prefer buying things online instead.I bought one unlocked phone which wasn’t unlocked. And I realized it when I was out of the country. Upon my return they didn’t take the product back neither made it unlock as the return time was expired. Horrible policy when it was completely their mistake
Best place for buying anything electronic such as computers, laptops, phones, printers and so on. They even have electric stoves and gas ranges as well as washers and dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and all for a better price and you can get at a place like Lowes. This is my go-to place these days for anything electronic and when I buy a new dishwasher, stove, washer or dryer, this is where Im going to go!
Im sure Best Buy doesnt vary much from city to city, or even from state to state. Its Best Buy, we know what they do! So my rating and Review comes strictly from my customer service experience. Ive always had a good experience there and the employees are always really nice and helpful. I give 4 stars because of one time when my young niece, with innocent ignorance, unplugged one of the display phones, which set the alarm off. I heard an employee making smart sarcastic remarks about the situation and it had completely set me off. I confronted him and got the situation taken care of and we did receive an apology. But that one employee was all it took for my rating to go down from what would have been a five because now I feel like I cant touch anything without being judged even though the displays are there to be tangibly reviewed.
The sales guys in the specialty electronics area were awesome! They were very nice and knowledgeable. As for the standard store staff, none of them seemed to want to help us find an item that needed to be looked for in the back, not even customer service, and it took forever to finally get our item and leave.
We went to best buy to find a washer/dryer set. Brendon was very knowledgeable and best of all he was not overbearing. He was able to answer all of our questions, and he let us take as much time as we needed without constantly asking if we needed help. Would definitely go back because of Brendon.
Horrible customer service and intellect from the employees in the “geek squad.” We spent 4 hours in the span of two days trying to get a simple iPhone screen fixed. After spending all this time arguing back and forth with the geek squad and speaking to 2 apple care customer service reps on the phone they still could not “verify” on their system that we were fully covered for this. So they were trying to charge $180 when apple care continuously said it was covered and supposed to be only $30.Instead of trying to figure out what they were doing wrong, they kept trying to make their point. When the so called “experienced” manager of 10 years in this store said so here self they are brand new to this system 4 days old in fact and could in fact be making a mistake. Apple care had to stay on the line to speak to them to get them to do their job. WORST experience ever in a Best Buy. If it wasn’t because this is the only apple representative store we would have gone elsewhere.
They have very friendly people that are willing to answer the most silly questions one may have. They also have several bilingual employees which is great! I think everyone knows that they carry a wide variety of brand for electronics and you have to shop smart like I always say in order to get the item you want for a very low price than when you first saw what you think you need ;)
Often when i come by its to get one specific item i need. many times i find it on website labled as available in store. though they do not have that item and check site to confirm if as i said. which is accurate, yet when i i wait in a line for assistance i am ignored . today stood in line for 40 minutes as employees help other from floor and walk passed me ignoring i was a waiting customer in line. after that time i i walked away still not asked if i i needed assistance.
Dont go to this store unless you like wearing a mask (said its mandatory) and like someone standing behind you the entire time.Even after this whatever they are calling it is over I will never go back.I will find all what i need from small business in Amarillo.Went for stereo equipment, made appointment like they ask on there web site drive a hr to get told they have nothing barley in the that department!!! I was told I had to wear a mask but half of the staff wasent wearing theirs!!! Lost my business for life
Wow what a crazy experience we just had here. First off I wanted to thank Garry, Ariana, Kaden, and everyone else who helped but I did not catch your names! So we just got approved for a credit card through best buy, however the bank that best buy goes through is Citibank. I am not going to get into the specifics of what happened because this review really goes to the amazing experience at Best Buy. Long story short, we had an issue with using the credit card after trying to buy 2 radios and speakers that Garry helped us pick out and actually had knowledge on unlike the recent Best buys we stopped at. We had to call the bank and they were giving my husband and I grief for at least two hours straight. Kaden helped us get connected to the bank we needed to talk too. Ariana stuck around the whole time and made sure we were getting handled, and she held our spot in line while others were able to help the other customers in line. We finally get the stuff figured out through Citibank and everything worked out. I forgot my ID and got an immediate call that I left it. Going in to get it, I asked if they had wire nuts so my husband could cap off the radio from shorting and then install the radio. Garry new the heck we had been through and though they did not sell wire nuts, he was able to give me a handful of the ones they use to install radios themselves. I will say my husband and I wish yall sold what Garry gave me because the wire nuts were awesome in the way they have to be crimped which is sturdier. Garry also gave me the exact amount we needed plus one which was crazy. I am glad we are back to our home store because this Best Buy really knows how to satisfy customers!
This Best Buy is neatly organized, but fills very cramped. Everything fills like its on top of each other. The staff is constantly asking if I have questions or need help while looking at merchandise. The noise from the TVs overlap as they are all plying something different. Over all this is store I try not to visit often.

2022-02-20If you want good information about an appliance ask for Micheal, we went washer and dryer set hunting, Besides being professional and friendly gave us very helpful information and tips about the appliances, delivery day, and everything related with the quality of the appliances. We also saved almost 500 dollars because they had a special going on. I definitely recommend Best Buy.

2022-06-26We had a hard time getting someone to come out and help put the TVs up for us in our home. We got our appointment cancelled and it was a complete waste of time. We went into customer service to pick up the TVs and do it ourselves when we met Marisa. Marisa was so helpful, compassionate and quick. She helped us get rescheduled the same day and get the help we needed. She is the reason we will be back and will continue to shop at Best Buy. Thank you Marisa

2022-03-10This review is only pertinent to calling Best Buy. Man on the phone lied about product availability in the store. Everyone in the store was apologetic and helpful. If a business is going to lie to its customers about whether or not an item is available for purchase, and the price of an item then Im wondering how long a business will continue earning a profit when its costing customers fuel, time and loyalty due to misinformation.

I went in with intentions to buy a TV but the feeling I got from the atmosphere I just walked out and went to Walmart and bought TV. Idk maybe it was my tattoos who knows

2022-03-15As if the rest of the store wasnt already a disaster, Best Buys Apple sales and support at this location are reprehensible. Westgate Computers is down the road and authorized for Apple sales and service, and the T-Mobile store across the street is an authorized Apple phone/mobile repair shop. The prices are the same, so why endure the pain of shopping here?

2022-02-05Through out the pandemic the employees outside were always friendly and extremely helpful. I loved pulling up to Best Buy! We’re here today to return some items but the store is closed due to water damage. The employees are running around outside ensuring each customer is taken care of! We didn’t wait long for our needs and the employees are not showing an ounce of frustration. Y’all are awesome, thank you!
