Best Buy in other cities:
Went to Mansfield Tx store in the evening. Asked 2 staff, who were not busy, for where to find an item. They didnt know how to assist me, so directed me to 1 staff who could. That 1 staff was busy with a customer and had another customer waiting. After several minutes of searching on my own, I found an item, had questions but no one who cared enough to try and assist me. Needless to say, I unhappily walked out of the store - no help - no purchase. I dont recommend Best Buy Mansfield to anyone.
The store was clean; nice person at the front of the store would ask what dept. Or what item you were there for. I wanted to look at cell phones after I picked up my new toaster 🍞. Disappointing I had not yet been called (I was put on a list) after 40 minutes, so I left. They did me a favor; I didnt drop a grand on the overpriced Note 20 Ultra I really wanted. Their stock was low on cellphones and they only had the newest featured phones. But I LOVE my new toaster! Not bad for $5.49 🤑🙀🙊 ($19.99 minus $10 off minus $5 certificate) Thanks, Best Buy, for the great toaster.
Very poor service. Management MOD ( female with odd looking mask was rude and uncooperative. Refused a return with the original receipt. To be fair it was past the return date, but product was NEVER out of box NEVER touched. It was discretionary and she chose not to exhibit good customer service. Ill never shop at BB again. I have worked in management before. I know how to treat customers.......she did not.....
School is right around the corner for me. I decided to buy a universal charger adapter for my old acer laptop. And none of the chargers pieces worked. But Leslie checked in the back to see if Greek-squad had one, luckily they did. the staff let me have it. 5/5 rating. That was so sweet. I love It. Happy customer.
So I bought online Samsung earbuds Pro. Unfortunately, they do not stay in my ears...So I had to take them back and exchange them for something else, and everyone that helped, did just that. LISTENED, and then HELPED me make a better decision based off what I was wanting them for and what actually would fit in my ears....Thank you Best Buy employees!! I am so happy with my choice!!
Horrible management. Made me travel back and forth to best buys and waste my time. He only had to call the other store. I even paid with my card with my ID and still wasnt allowed to get my item. Finally fixed but all the hassle when they could of just called the other store.
I bought a Dell Inspiron 7415 a week ago along with Microsoft 365 and paid almost 1000.00 for everything. I called the store after I receive my laptop and someone in the geek department told me that my computer came with office, and I did not need the 365 software. So, I returned it for refund only to find out that the office that was on my computer was for an s trial run.I called again today to purchase the Microsoft 365 again, and the hold time was ridiculous! No one ever picked up the phone. So I decided to chat instead. I proceeded to chat with an agent who assisted me with purchasing the Microsoft 365. My credit card was charged, but I never received a product key, or code. Also when I signed in on my Best Buy account it does not show me purchasing the software again today. I’m returning the laptop tomorrow to Best Buy, and I want a refund on purchasing the Microsoft 365 again today that I never received! I will take my business elsewhere. I’ve been on the phone with them off and on since 10 AM and it’s now 3:30 pm, and my problem is still not resolved! Im done!😡😡
Bought $900 laptop and told by sales person and Geek Squad member to bring old laptop back and they would try to get stuff off hard drive. Told me to drop off and they would call when done. Take laptop back next day and different guy tells me I have to make appointment to drop off. He did not care what other guy told me. Might return laptop and go to Walmart for this kind of service. Done with BB
Best place period for electronics, despite operating 30% understaffed pre covid, with record earnings. So my tip is to find a veteran employee. This is where the BB experience shines! Although youll wait a while for one, but this is the best store in the district. Make an appt online. My friend/ family drive past 2 BBs just for the quality of service & friendliness here. Their name tags tell you how long they have worked there. Although there is always a wait, its still shorter than all the research one might do before taking action. Because unlike a YT video. I can ask a question & get an answer. Plus no matter what youre looking for, someone in that store owns the product you are interested in. So its like talking to a neighbor who already owns one.Plaudits
Very friendly staff. I brought in an iPhone for back glass repair. The Geek Squad member was very honest with me about how Apple makes them send the phone in and told me it’s best to make appointment at the Apple store. It was nice to have someone to be honest and straight forward with me rather than give me a load of double talk. Thanks.
This place sucks.. the girl in the customer service (Leslie) was soo rude.. like there is better way u can talk to people. I didnt know someone else couldnt pickup items. And instead of letting me know that there is the option of changing the pickup person online she was rude and told me there isnt any other option. She arrogantly refused to help me. The other staffs at customer service and front desk were nice tho.
Their website showed that the item I wanted was in stock at this store. However when I arrived no one could locate it. I ended up having to purchase a more expensive model that was not on sale. I was advised to in the future order online with pickup to make sure the item is in stock.
Good Best buy... The people are always nice... They always seem to have what I want and stock... The checkout process is quick and efficient... The Geek Squad people are always helpful and can answer any question you have... great TV selection... Got a really nice Sonos sound bar.... it sounds great so far... Good Best buy location...
I always find myself inside this place. Not JUST Best Buy in general where I literally milk my bank account and max credit cards here, but Ive done these habits quite frequently at this specific store. One might say Im a serious computer elitist, another might say Im frivolous with my repeated spending and foolish with my interests in tech. Needless to say, through all of my visits and money spent here, I have had some bumps and moderate difficulties that have questioned if Id ever return to a best buy again. However, that had changed by a very modest gentleman who is very understanding, and can diffuse a situation no matter how urgent, dire, or hostile it may be and do it very effectively. Honestly, he shouldnt just be the supervisor over at Customer Service. He should at least be a manager, or a primary face of that store. Because he just saved a loyal customer from never coming back again. When I go to best buy, this is a person who I want to see and help me. Very knowledgeable, respectful, and a true dedicated father that supports and performs on all aspects.10/10
Product selection is good, however the fatal flaw with just about EVERY Best Buy is getting help from an associate. You can walk up to one and ask for help and they will radio help for you but that call must go to Bangladesh or something since help never comes. I only need help as in a lacky with keys to open a cage so I can buy product, guess Ill just have to take my business to Target where I can get what I need or failing that freaking Amazon where it gets delivered to my door free of charge and secure with Amazon Key
Customer service in store was great. Unfortunately Best Buys delivery system and phone customer service was pathetic, providing nothing but empty platitudes and promises. Finally, after a week of aggravation, l canceled the appliance order and bought one from a competitor. Im going to cancel my bestbuy credit card next, as soon as l can stomach being on the phone with them again.
I actually enjoyed being assisted as my wife and I researched what to do with a 75 TV! We wrestled with hanging it from the wall or buying a cabinet to sit it on. We have not yet settled on what we will do, but we are comfortable with our improved knowledge of our options. Its a great place to shop. We will return when we come to sn agreement 🤝.
Best buy has the best curbside pickup system. You get updates via text when they have your order done and when you show up they send another text to let you know someone in the store actually knows youre there and is bringing out your order. Never waited more than 2-3 mins for an order to be brought out
Jeremy greeted me at the front door and directed towards the item I was looking to purchase. No one was available to assist me because the Best Buy Representatives were busy with other customers. Jeremy originally told me that if I cant find a available rep. to let him know. Needless to say, Jeremy helped me by retrieving a game I wanted. The purchased line was closed, but a sign said to go to customers service, that line was long due to customers returning merchandise. Jeremy came to our rescue, and with a friendly smile he got the line moving. From the moment I walk into the store Jeremy made a impression, a connection, a rapport. We need more people like Jeremy in the world. Thank Jeremy.
They Price match, thats always great. Best Buy is also checking for masks upon entry. Great shopping experience. Its become a nightmare to get the geek squad. With COVID-19, its important to pivot and innovate ways to make it easy to support clients, especially for services they prepaid for.
Not happy with this store at all. Came in looking for a computer. Could not get any help. I asked a store associate about it and was loud and rude stating that everyone was helping other customers. I understand that but they could be polite about it. Spent almost one hour here just to buy a computer . I Would go to another store maybe Arlington or Conns to buy. No need to spend money where people don’t appreciate your business. Customer service is at a zero.
I needed series 5 tv and Mansfield store had it in stock. But due to internet break downs, I had to try multiple times to order and the series 4 was ordered in error. The staff and the Manager were professional, patient and helpful. They got the my order cancelled and reorder for the series 5 TV without problem. The internet signal in BB parking lot on first spot was so poor in rainy weather that I could not get to receive it curbside but it became a blessing in disguise as I had to go into the store, the error in order got noticed and corrected, instead of bringing home a TV that I did not need. Storms and clouds contributed to the problem and the solution but could not cover/hide the courteous qualities of the staff!
As you get there, you need to put yourself in the que to see the computer guy. There is NO sign telling you that fact. The place to do that is when you walk in the door. The guy selling computers did not know what plug the alarm system used (USB-C). He learned by Googling the answer in front of me.I decided to try an open box deal. It was $500 off making the laptop only $1275. When I got home I learned it was not factory reset. So I returned to the store to learn there was nothing they could do to make it work. So I lost 3.5hrs of my life and need to go find another competent Best Buy. I TRUELY hope you have a better experience.Store was well lit and clean....
I initially made a fairly large purchase but do to a recent spike in demand I had to pickup the order from another store. The product had defects so I returned/ exchanged it and actually upgraded while I had the oppurtunity. The return process was a breeze. The only issue I had was once again I had chosen a product that was not currently in stock and I had to pick up from another store. I would have given 5 stars however not being able to walk out with the product twice for two different models of a product was a bummer. And to make up for it they didnt offer one day delivery like Amazon. Their delivery would have taken four days. My choice was pickup down the road ASAP and arrange transportation to fit the item or wait 4 days for the delivery. So 1 star lost due to product nonavailability but the store experience and service was great. Kimberly Home Media department was great.
I got to give it upto the kids that work there. Very helpful and pleasant. For a brick and mortar they have everything. The kids are very knowledgeable and they have no problem helping you, if your sick of giving Jeff Bezos more money go give best buy some of your money! Help these youngsters keep a job!!!
I went into Best Buy yesterday looking to buy me a Samsung watch for my birthday. Online it said that they had one in stock at this location. Upon arrival I was greeted by the gentlemen at the door. He asked if he could help me find anything and I told him I was looking for the Samsung watches. He walked me over and said if I can help you with anything else let me know.I looked, but didnt see the watch I was looking for. I went to ask the gentlemen for help. He looked up the sku and saw it was one in stock. This guy went above and beyond searching for that watch. I thought for sure he was going to say he couldnt find it on they didnt have it. As he search he kept me updated on what was happening.Long story short, he found the watch and that made my day. He said Happy Birthday girl and enjoy your day. This was great. It is very rare people take the time to help customers like this. Now, this was exceptional customer service. I wanted to call to get his name but I got busy. It was around 2:00pm on May 12th when I made it to the store. The guy may have been a supervisor or manager (listening to him talk on the radio), if not he should be. Please let him know I said Thank You again...you are awesome.
Scheduled an appointment to go to the store and shop. Got there and service was friendly and quick. When you get there, check-in and then you are brought inside and seated (6 feet apart). Then introduced to specialist. Nice experience. Myrna and Jonathan were great. *note: wear a mask, the associates have them on as well.
Had to wait quite a while to get someone to help me with a computer purchase but the wait was worth it. Got a very knowledgeable guy named Evan and he helped me get exactly what I need. The computer I chose was not in stock so I have to wait a few days which is not a problem. He explained in great detail the warranty program and the tech support program. Very pleasant and easy to work with.
Bad customer service. Best Buy will go out of business if they dont fix this. If I buy something from Amazon, I get it quickly or profusely get updates. If I buy something online at Bestbuy, they pretend to have it but later say they actually dont have it and dont know when they will get it. Yesterday my wife and I went to this store. Outside there is a huge sign saying they are now open for you to come in (during the pandemic) there was a employee super rude to my wife that they are actually closed. We pointed to the sign, and he was condescending to us, wow. Not going back to Bestbuy ever unless they change this.
Went to best buy in Arlington bought screen protector for daughters fitbit and they installed for free. I bought a new Samsung watch 4 my wife but they didnt have the screen protector in stock, I went to Mansfield location to get the protector and they charged me 7.99 to put on. Never going to Mansfield location Again!!
This Best Buy in Arlington, TX, has a Manager that rather than write off a few dollars, he would write off a customer and family members who as a whole have spent thousand of dollars in many years of patronizing this store off I20 and Cooper St. Arlington, TX. Obviously, it wont be the case anymore. I will take my business somewhere else and Amazon.com, where I could have come out a lot better at the long run price wise! Most of the other employees there, are excellent and very helpful in honor to the truth. The incident took place around 1230PM this Sunday October 11, 2020, BB, 1730 Pleasant Pl, Arlington, TX 76015
I understand there are rules and procedures for employees to follow. However, the store in Mansfield was very inconsistent with this issue. Ive been able to purchase items with my husbands account number many times in the past with only using his ss# and dob. I stopped in today to purchase a last minute birthday gift. The cashier would not allow me to use the account. As Ive stated, Im ok with rules and guidelines, but the manager should probably retrain and make sure ALL EMPLOYEES ARE HANDLING CUSTOMERS IN A WAY THAT IS CONSISTENT!
While waiting in line for my appointment the Geek Squad member behind the counter asked a man behind me in line if he had an appointment. The man behind me in line said he didnt but the Geek Squad member didnt look too pleased when I told him firmly that my name was appearing on his monitor as the next appointment.Another repair person quickly appeared when I said I was doing a review. He was knowledgeable and quickly answered my questions. That earned the store a 4 star rating.
I would like to file a complaint on the general manager here at this location - Myrna. She has no communication skills nor any interpersonal tact. She is rude and is no where near close to professional. She is very condescending and passive aggressive in the way that she speaks and leads her employees. From my experience, the fish rots from the head, and if there are any other issues in this store it is due to her lack of manners and inability to lead and create a positive work environment. I highly suggest this general manager is replaced ASAP as it is affecting business - I for one will no longer be coming to this location due to her.
Very long wait time just to pay. Checkout is closed and customers funneled through “Customer Service.” Meanwhile, as many employees standing around (2 at the entrance alone) than WAITING in line. This line has not moved in 15 min. 2 stars for having what I came in for. If I wasn’t here for a birthday gift I’d be out of here!
A great place to go and see what youre about to buy on Amazon.Everyone does it.On the real though. Its Best Buy. Some deals are great and some prices can be absurd. They do honor price matching though and personally have taken advantage of. Also one of the few places you can buy a Sony phone. The staff seems ok. The employees in the PC area know their stuff.Funny story: Had two employees debate their stance on building a pc vs a pre-built.Thats the knowledgeable conversation any customer would be welcome to hear.I ended up getting a pre-built. 👍🏼
Do not go to Best Buy in Mansfield, Texas for Samsung service. I had an appointment for screen replacement for three weeks. I put the phone type in my appointment. I went to the store to weeks early and asked some questions about my repair. The customer service associate said they are waiting on Samsung parts but should have them soon. She gave me no reason to think my repair could not be complete on my appointment date. At the time of my appointment I arrived and was told that the Mansfield store is not doing Samsung repairs. Arlington can do them. Frustrating that I was not told that before so I could go somewhere else. Im not sure why I made an appointment. There were few customers in the store and the customer service counter and Geek Squad allow walk ups.
Everytime I come here for geek squad help (which I pay for) they are never able to assist me. I bought google buds from them online and geek squad at the same time. I took them for repaid and was told to contact google.Last time I bought a damaged TV and the refused to just swap it for same thing. I had a receipt for the purchase and everything.
Awful. Don’t expect anybody in here to know about electronics they hire people who just graduated high school looking for a job. If you ask any questions about a product they honestly don’t know and just repeat what’s already said on the description of the item. Expect to get hustled because they’re just trying to sell you anything and if they come up to you asking to help just know they’ll show you something that will help them get a good commission. I would advise just doing your own research and ordering from online from a different retailer.
Scheduled an appointment with Geek Squad for a battery change on my Iphone. Arrived a few minutes early, wearing mask, all employees wearing masks, and there are practically no customers. OK, great. Geek Squad sees my appointment and then tells me they dont do same day battery changes and that his Geek Squad person wasnt even there.Whats the point of making an appointment if you are not going to honor it? When I make an appointment, I plan for it and show up on time, with the expectation that the other party will be prepared and show up on time. The person even told me that he has another phone in front of mine - so not only do you not show up for my appointment, you failed on another person too??My advice to others is not to bother with this location. Its not worth making an appointment a week in advance only to be told that they dont work based on the appointment.
I usually dont come here often but, I came to buy a stereo because it came recommended. I bought a stereo, wiring harness, and a back up camera along with a lot of stuff. They sold me products I couldnt use even though the guy assured me it was correct. Instead of giving me my money back they gave me a gift card. Very frustrating.
I had a great experience the other night here. I had ordered a TV on Amazon and it was delivered to my house severely damaged and since it was sold by Best Buy via Amazon, I was told to return it to the closest store. I was still wanting to get a new TV and the salesmen Antonio helped me find a new TV and the store manager Rick made sure I had a better experience in store and put back trust in Best Buy that they would take care of a customer. Would gladly do business here again. Thanks again to Rick and Antonio.
I have never wrote a review, but the service here is awful. I called this store for over 2 hours, and not once did someone pick up the phone. I even got in contact to the 1-800 line and made sure their line was connected and store was still open. With all the uncertainties with coronavirus you would think all avenues of their customer support would be available. I’m aware that they are a well established store and don’t need my service but I will never shop here again.
This store is clean and comfortable atmosphere and service was fast and helpful staff. Well organized and eyes catching on product display, I like buying product from Best Buy store because I felt comfortable. I would love to come back and see more stuff in the future.
Supply supply supply. In a world with Amazon, Best Buy is mainly used for needing something now v. Waiting for delivery. That said, wife needed a new vacuum (buy it when it breaks, dont wait to make it a Christmas present 🤣). They had the vacuum, but no accessories like an extra battery or the handheld vacuum. Instead, we got what we needed, thus the 3 star, but having to online to get the other items was duplicate effort. Should have just used Amazon from the start.
A gentleman named Evan helped me and he was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions about a future computer purchase. He has helped me in the past in a different department and he was also fantastic in that area. Great service and knowledge on his part. Superb employee. Ill be sure to ask for him when I do make my purchase.
Customer service is virtually non-existent. I made the mistake of ordering something from here and it is virtually impossible to speak to someone about an error they made. Was on hold for 40mins before giving up. So I tried online, where I waited for their chat feature for 20mins only to be disconnected a few minutes into my chat once a person was finally there. Incredibly frustrating experience from a store that exclusively sells TECHNOLOGY.
I was in a hurry in my visit. I dont live in Mansfield, we were visiting family and I wanted a quick gift for my husband before he flew out. I was helped as soon as I walked in the store and they pointed me right where I needed to go. They didnt hover which I appreciate. I was able to grab what I needed and got right in line. The line moved a little slow. Which feels ten times slower when youre in a hurry. Slow line is the only reason for 4 stars. Service was great, plenty of stock. Id go back if I ever needed to.FYI: The Best Buys in the last few towns weve lived in have military discount, this location does not.I kind of like that this location is near a dollar tree. I was able to get gift wrap, scissors, and tape right next door!
I really feel like Best Buy at least tries to hire the right people. Its the only thing that keeps me coming back rather than shopping exclusively on line. I can send a family member here and expect them not to be upsold for no reason and when I have to return something or deal with customer service they always do a great job. Maybe not every Best Buy location is like that but this one is.
First the initial approach was rude and inconsiderate after show the employee the order number on my phone and explaining, I was calling the person that place the order. He told me I would be able to pickup the order and walks away. I remain seating there and another employee ask me to move my car. I ask for the manager he says he was a acting mgr, He explains what need to be done. I leave my place in line come back after we have done what they said would be required. The manager who was somewhat helpful approaches the car. I explain the situation, and she says the everything must go through corporate first, and that I would need to pull up and wait. After 1 hour my supervisor call the store ask to speak with the manager. He was told that they were busy and he would need to leave a number. His reply was thats Asinine my employee has been wait over a hour in the parking lot. Sir he will need to go to the drive through pick up she responded. On the three way call, I replied I am in the pick up line. The next thing that happens the same associate that initially came attempt to car come towards me saying he did appreciate me call and cussing at his employee on the phone. Now, Im upset first of all I wasnt the one calling, neither of us cussed, and we still dont have our order. The kid is tell me to get back in my car pointing at me, i took one step forward and said excuse me. You accusing me of doing something I didnt do and pointing telling me the customer that has spent thousands of dollars in your store to get off a public sidewalk. Son you dont have the authority to tell me what to do. He then proceeds to tell me hes calling the cops to which I replied go right ahead. Then the manger comes a says theyre just going to have to cancel the order. She wasnt concern that her employee had just false accused me of something and btw the word was ASININE- DEFINITION EXTREMELY STUPID,OR FOOLISH is not a cuss word. After explaining again what occurred she says we can cancel the order and repurchase the merchandise. OKAY LETS DO THIS! By now BEST BUY IS NOT LIVING UP TO ITS NAME. The Cops come now and ask me what was going on? I explained to the two officers, and then they walk up with the merchandise that they said they could give me because, I was the pick-up person. They charge it to my card, and hand me the merchandise with the original persons name on it and not mine. Go figure. This is the second time something like this has happen at this store, and likely the last time. The first purchase was well over a thousand dollars. This is unacceptable customer service, I worked 35 years Retail sales in customer service. You should at least talk with the customer before you allow some young person make the decision to call the police on a legitimate good customer. And you clearly need to use more common since when dealing with customers that have visible proof their legitimacy. The majority of people are honest should be treated that way.
Great customer service. An example of this is today when I went to purchase a phone charger. When I got to my truck, I opened the box. The box was empty, some petahk had stolen the charger, but left the empty box on the rack. I returned to the store and started to exchange the item. I work in customer service, so I know exactly how it looks. I look like a scammer. However, within a few minutes of reviewing my situation without insinuating anything, they verified my story and exchanged the device, no problem, no sweat.Top notch service right there, dealing with a potentially sticky situation with class.
Went in to recycle some electronics and just for the heck of it I checked out the TV selection. And they had a good selection as well as good side by side of like models. What was actually more of a surprise was the employee was knowledgeable and had good information. Another surprise was the price was competitive
Waited around for 10 mins for sales guy to finish with someone else. Told him what I wanted(laptop). Pointed it out and told they are out... Did not offer up any others to look at... Went to WAL-MART, they had the same laptop there for 40.00 less. So I guess the bottom line is I am not ever going to set foot in this chain again....
Geek guys were not supposed to ship out husbands phone. They did, and lost it. And because of that, they lost five years worth of photos! Manager was blasé and nonchalant about the whole experience. Literally said it wasnt her problem and she couldnt do anything about it. It was so sad and pathetic. This is one of the reasons why brick and mortar stores are going out of business. They should care about their customers and give a certain experience. What a complete let down. I will NEVER shop at Best Buy again, and I will make sure all my friends and family know why.
No one was in theater section. I walked to front guy by door and asked if anyone was working home theater. He stated he would get someone and I waited another 15 minutes, but know one came. So I left. In total I was in the store for 36 minutes without any acknowledgement. I may look rough at the moment coming in after doing yard work, but I am was ready to drop some money on my home theater. Their loss.
Adam at the store helped with phone options. Very patient and even though at first I didnt want Samsung. He went over all features and compared to the Google phone for me. He spent a lot of time helping me.I ended up buying the phone. I didnt intend he found a brand new open box phone dropped the price and I walked out with a galaxy 10plus very fantastic price.
We were greeted at the door, which was nice. Then we walked to the back to buy a Nintendo Switch. We waited while 2 associates waited on the same family. When I asked if one of them could help us, we were told that we would be helped soon. After 15 more minutes of waiting we left and went to a Target to buy the Switch. The customer service was horrible. I dont understand why 2 associates need to wait on a single family. One of them could have opened the case for us, we knew exactly what we wanted.
The gentlemen that assisted me today was very helpful. He was knowledgeable of the video game item that I came to purchase. Since there were none on the floor, he quickly looked on his device to see if there were any in the back.He had me in and out of the store quickly and answered any questions I had.
Best Best buy in the area. TV staff is SUPER knowledgable about brands, tv processors, models, series, and pixels. Evan (?) Helped me out a great deal on the substantial knowledge that i knew i had on which kind of TV i wanted to come in and buy. Great understanding of my budget personable, and respectful young man. Ended up up spending about $800 on the perfect upgrades for my man cave. We also bought our phones from this location months back and the mobile staff were equally great.
After not being able to find what I wanted at the Pleasant location, I was sent to the Mansfield location. I got there looking for a laptop. An employee was standing by himself when I asked for assistance and he said he was busy with someone else. Mind you no one was there with him and he didnt have the decency to see about getting someone else that could assist me. Shay who was busy with another customer took the time to ask if I needed help as she went down an aisle looking for something for that customer she was assisting. I told her I needed to look at a specific laptop and she called for an available employee to help me. If it wasnt for Shay I wouldve left empty handed. Nothing more aggravating than someone who looks at you like your money and time isnt valuable for whatever reason was going on in that male employees head. Thank you Shay for being so kind and helpful. I left Best Buy with the laptop I wanted and a few other accessories to go with it. Shes a 5 star employee for sure. Others could learn from her.
I came into this store to purchase my first laptop in over 25 years. Yes, I know, but I have been using desktop computers for all of these years. My budget was set at $1,200. I found the customer service to be excellent, and actually wound up getting an Alienware M17 I-7 laptop that was originally $2,400.00 - marked down to $1,050.00 all because it was a display model. I added a one year insurance warranty to it - which met my budget. The laptop was in perfect shape. No scratches or signs of any wear on the entire laptop. Win Win!!
The guy I spoke with was very helpful. He went over different features, pros, and cons. I didnt purchase because I am waiting for Black Friday, I just wanted to know what look for ahead of time.I am deducting one star because he let a cuss word slip. I do not think it is appropriate to use bad language when in customer service, its not professional. Other than that he was great.
They were very kind and helpful for my new printer and Geek Squad fixed my laptop! :) ...But I went a few weeks ago and they didnt have any TVs smaller than 40inches with good picture, I went to Sams and got a 32inch smart Samsung TV with good picture for great price.
Absolutely disgusted with how Best Buy didnt resolve my issue. The salesman talked me into getting a credit card which is fine, the problem is I wasnt price match what was online. Now I have unopened MacBook Air that cant be returned. Its safe to say, I wont be shopping here again.
They have models out, but cant even sell them! Its false advertising, and they dont even seem to care. I felt lied to and like they didnt even care! The guy was all matter of fact as he told me, too bad. Ive had great experiences with Best Buy, before. But, I doubt Ill be back to this one.
I am a true fan of Electronics. I can truly say when it comes to Best Buy they have a FANTASTIC variety of TVs, Stereos, and all the major accessories for these products. I have never shopped here for other appliances such s Washers and Dryers or even things down to refrigerators and freezers. The staff is always willing to help you find the best product that fits your needs. The last 4 cell phones I have got from Best buy because the plans beat out the cellular company and the warranty is guaranteed for more than them also. All and all Best buy stands up to its name and provides great service!
Spent time with the on-floor Geek Squad who educated me on different options to replace my big, old desk computer. Not working from home anymore (retired technical writer) and dont need this space big anymore. Very helpful group! Still need to do some comparison shopping and I recommend their on-floor employees with any questions you may have.
I come to the BB because it’s nicer than the one in Arlington but the employees here are awful. Any time we’ve come here we’ve been warmly welcomed with terrible employees. Whether it’s a simple question, needing knowledge on a product, or needing a recommendation the interactions are all bad. Well - not all. The employees in the cell phone department are nice. Computers, printers, cashiers, tv, all bad. Drive a little further to another BB unless you know exactly what you need and don’t plan on interacting with anyone.
Absolutely terrible in every way.I wanted an all new sound system in my truck and figured this Best Buy would love to help me spend $1000 on that.Nope.Evan couldnt figure out how to work his own system and quoted a ridiculous, and false, labor fee of $900. I was told i could save on most of that by getting a year of geek squad. So i asked about install options, which stumped him and we went to go ask some expert on car audio. Then i was told that no box would fit under my seat and i need to go get a custom one made. After rushing me away i was handed a tape measure to figure out the size.Apparently i was too much work and not worth their time because when i came back in Evan was on to another customer and i was dismissed. I spoke with a manager who just kept saying, well you went outside so... That conversation went nowhere.I left and went to Best Buy in Arlington and had my new speakers, amps, and sub within an hour. Not only do those mythical sub boxes exist, but there is an alternative compact sub-amp-box made just for trucks....and both are sold by Best Buy.Save yourself the headache and make the short trip to the Arlington BB just off 20 on Cooper.
Myrna was extremely rude when I entered the store! She was being very agressive with me and impatient when more customers came. I couldnt get any help when I entered Best Buy ane I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service from Myrna and I will not be returning to this store as long as she is the manager of the store.
If I could give them ZERO stars I would. Online customer service is none existent, and no help. I ordered an Apple Watch Friday for a funeral on Tuesday and did not receive it. I had to reorder a watch Monday and paid for same day shipping so I would have it for a gift at a funeral of my great grandmother but it was not delivered. Now they want to say I will not receive the watch I paid for until Sunday. And there is nothing I can do besides call corporate. Worst experience I have had trying to get a family member a gift for our great grandmothers funeral.
Geek Squad personnel at this location arent bad, but not sure how much they really know. The Microsoft salesman couldnt wait to leave to go to another part of the store to do something else. I have talked to him twice and you could definitely tell he didnt want to be helping us, and he doesnt seem to know much about the products either. I will start going to another store for Microsoft items to buy, including computers.
Who doesnt like a quick stop at Best Buy to check out all the new stuff. I seem to akways have a couple questions for them also and they always have an answer or a way to find the answer. One thing- some staff will dodge you and some will seek you out and of course the ones that ask you if you need anything are the ones to ask the questions.
Probably not largest electronics store but they have good selection of phones, computers, other electronics and appliances. Weve bought refrigerators, stoves, computers and phones there and have been very satisfied with our purchases. We appreciate that they have a very helpful staff which is backed up by their Geek Squad. Service makes Best Buy a winner.
Was looking at televisions and couldnt seem to get anyone to wait on me at this location. There was a point where I thought Id get service, but that salesman decided to chit chat with a customer that already had a salesmen working with him and the other salesman was standing right there. So there I sat without anyone to help while another customer had two salesmen. Ive been automating my home this past week and had already spent over $700 in this location this week. Ill be working with other locations or stores to complete my home automation.
I had to return a cell phone accessory. It was a simple cell phone cover. The CSR sent me to the cell phone dept. and they gave me the 3rd degree about my reason for returning it. Telling them that the cover was ripping was not good enough. They asked me if I bought it from this store, how long ago did I buy it, could they see my Drivers License (a new policy now). They were completely rude for a $50 phone cover. I wish I could say that I will not do business again but it was just the cell phone dept. that I had a problem with.
We purchased a $1300 laptop hear last weekend. Asked if it could be returned in case it wasn’t what we needed. We were told yes. Went to return it yesterday & was told they could not give me cash ( we paid cash) would have to send us a check in the mail. I asked if they could put it on my debit card & was told no, that it had to be returned with same payment form. Sending me a check in the mail IS NOT the same payment form. Will not do business with Best Buy anymore!
Today was the 3rd visit to the Mansfield Best Buy since I moved here. Never in all three visits did anyone ask if I was finding what I was looking for, if they could help me. Nothing, absolutely nothing. And they were all standing around yapping or playing on their phones, not with customers. Marcy the checkout lady is the only person that was courteous. Each time, I tell the checkout person, I tell the guy standing at the door, (except for this time, it was the same guy and he must not care either). So, I will go to Frys or someplace else to shop for my electronic needs and forget Best Buy Mansfield. Good thing we do have choices with whom we spend our $$$. If I could give NO STARS I would.
This location is a bit smaller than average, and also in borderline rural area. This leads to a location with an outstanding employee team that truly want to help every customer much more than the average best buy. Clarence in particular, is a great asset to this location, but so are many others who work at this Mansfield store. Great customer service.
Customer Service did nothing for me when my order was restocked 36 hours earlier. I was told the best they could do was honor Targets sale price which was no different from theirs! I was told I was insulting him when all I did was explain my feelings on a policy which looses money for both them and me. Dont shop here and dont use store pick up make them pay to send it to you.
Its a bit of a hit and miss from the few times Ive gone to this store. Most of the time, the service is nice. Most of the employees seem to know a thing or two about the products they are hovering around. I usually go to the Arlington store for their much larger selection and more plentiful inventory. Overall, not a bad store to visit from my experience.
Went to the Mansfield store today to make a major cell phone purchase. After asking for help twice, and watching the group of employees not helping customers but occasionally saying someone will be with you in a moment, I walked out after 20 minutes. Too many other stores anxious to sell me a phone in this economy. #bestbuyfail
When we got to Best Buy I ask the person at the front where the cell phone where and he not only showed us he took us and said there would be 2 sales persons there, he was great. When we got there where 2 sales persons but 1 waked away and the other was taking care of customer. We had to wait until he finished. The other person only showed up get the phone out of the cabinet and waked away again.
I would rate a 0 if able... Horrible experience at this store with 2 iPhone 11 purchases. I ordered online, charged $30 activation + tax per device, and went to pick-up the phones. First the Mobile tech. started issuing gift cards for our trade-ins when we already chose to apply the value to the new phones. He never even asked us, or checked the order, just started creating the gift cards. I luckily caught him doing so at the beginning, but then he had to get a manager to revert the gift card and apply the $ back to the phones. This added at least another 30 minutes to the process. A more experienced tech had to take over and he also did not show us our phones were reset, only said they were, which they are supposed show us to confirm. Before leaving, the tech confirmed the new phones were activated, we just needed to restore from our backups once we got home...Once we got home, we began restoring our phones from iCloud backups, then realized neither phone was fully activated and we could not make calls. We tried to activate per the link in Best Buy’s email, but that requires you to call a phone # to complete activation. We couldn’t call because we both traded in our phones and there was no URL to complete! AT&T’s site showed they were both already activated and it would not work either... I had to use Skype to finish activating my phone, but when trying my wife’s it said it was already activated...I had to call AT&T the next morning to get the issue with my wife’s phone corrected. Best Buy entered the wrong SIM card info on top of it all! The AT&T tech stated Best Buy was pushing product without taking care of their customers and activating properly..It seems that when you order a phone online via Best Buy, they only partially activate the phones with AT&T and require you to call in to complete the final step. The problem is there is no Best Buy URL to do this final step and you MUST call, which is difficult if you traded your phone(s) and have no land line! Also, due to this (lack of) partnership between Best Buy and AT&T, AT&T’s activation process does not work for these Bust Buy purchased devices...This is supposed to be a streamlined process, but it is majorly flawed and Best Buy employees do not do any verification... I went back to the store the next day to talk to a manager about the issues, and also make sure our traded phones were properly reset, but the manager took no ownership. Basically he said his superiors would not listen to him, he did acknowledge the process gaps and reset proof should have been shown, but escalation would do nothing. I’m not sure what he manages if he doesn’t enforce process with his people and cannot escalate customer issues... They also could not find our phones and assumed they were shipped out after our trade-in. No confirmation could be provided.I also received my AT&T bill and they also charged an upgrade fee for each device on top of the activation fee I paid Best Buy. The activation fee already paid to Best Buy was not communicated to AT&T! We are existing customers, the Best Buy online purchase process verified this, and we should have just paid an upgrade fee only! There was no way around this online activation fee. AT&T confirmed we should have paid the tax only and they would charge the upgrade fees on the first bill. This is an obvious gap their processing between AT&T and Best Buy. AT&T also has no way to verify we already paid this fee to Best Buy and we must go into an AT&T store and show them the Best Buy receipt to get the upgrade charges removed from our bill. AT&T Loyalty team has no way to receive email or evidence of the payment from customers. This is again ridiculous given the field and services they provide...I cannot fathom how 2 technologically advanced companies such as these, which deal in tech/comm. services, are so technologically deficient in their processes and partner communications.I would strongly advise against using Best Buy’s wireless device online purchase process and utilizing this store for these types of services period.
The best place for products and customer service hands down. Cant speak for all Bestbuy locations but Mansfield rocks. Great service everytime. All the staff is terrific. Had one of the managers (Josh) help us today with a tablet we were exchanging. Very quick and with a smile. Thanks again for all yall do.
We went into the store for an antenna. Looked over the selection and an employee quickly assured us of our concerns for reception. If it didnt work bring it back to any Best Buy store within 2 weeks for a return or replacement to a better solution. This store has been rearranged within the last couple of weeks. A new general manager has come in and they are getting ready for the holidays. We found out that the stores are getting rid of CDs. It was a bit disappointing that they no longer sell phone batteries or seem to be knowledgeable on some things like battery replacement of my Xperia phone?
Tarek was amazing and patient with me! I was very indecisive about what I was getting and he went above and beyond to make me happy! Julio and Kaitlynn were both very patient and understanding with me as well. All three employees delivered excellent customer service!!
Overall okay place. I’ve not been overly satisfied with Best Buy over the past year and a half due to some personal experiences with there customer service. Good for small purchases in a pinch but I’d stick with Fry’s or another electronics store for bigger purchases..
Friendly people no pressure just had to look for a worker for help but that didnt bother because I expect that on the holiday season Im not bothered by that as long as I get help when I ask for it and I did. Its just that i didnt even know that the guy standing next to me was a worker. Until after I already found someone and got their help as I was walking away he grabbed the ladder and stared to put the gaming systems up on the top shelf he didnt have a name tag or anything. Thats why I thought he was just another customer looking at gaming systems too. But other than that I cant grumble. Check out was pretty fast and the guy even help as he noticed my wife looking at me to see if the cost was clear because I had to distract the kids so they didnt see what she bought so he joined in and told her when they werent looking so she could sneak out with the gifts.
Some of the workers do not know what they are talking about so you have to go around and ask other workers, until you find a diligent worker that knows what they are talking about and help you. Im very big on customer service so I get bothered when they are rude, belittling me, or not doing their job except talking to their coworkers. Other than costumer service, they practically have almost everything you need there, just best to check online first so you dont have to deal with a smart attitude from a worker there.
Went buy my son an iPad and ended up buying a Nintendo Switch too🙂 customer service was excellent. My son wanted a particular game and the guy searched everywhere, high and low. He also did price matching that I didnt even know they did. But my college kid was more than happy. Great experience. Thanks Best Buy in Mansfield. Its what makes ppl wanna come back!
My wife purchased a couple of items for me for some upcoming events before Christmas. They were for my birthday and by the time I opened them only to find out they didnt work they had passed the return date. They were brand new and I spoke to a manager and he said that he wasnt able to help me. We will NOT be buying anything else from them. This has to be the worst customer service I have come across by far.
Bought a TV that I was assured was a smart TV. They had 2 in stock. After waiting for half an hour at checkout, it turns out that they lost the two that were in the inventory. 30 minutes later, I was told I could come back the next day (I live over an hour and a half away) or I could get the one they had in Waco (an hour away). I bought the TV and left.Fast forward 3 days: I went to pickup the TV in Waco. They did not have anything waiting on me, apparently it was not communicated to the store. I picked up the last TV they had, but had to return and re-purchase the product. I got it home and it turned out that it, in fact, was not a smart TV. Massive run-around.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!I bought a Samsung smart watch on 6/1/19. For the past week the watch started to mess up. I came to the Mansfield Bestbuy today to see if they could help me to figure out was wrong with it being that its barely been 45 since purchase. I was sent to customer service waited my turn to have a guy look at my receipt and say its past the return policy. I asked if someone could at least take a look at it to see if they could help me fix it. He responds was yes have a seat a a geek squad person will assist you. I take a seat and wait again for him to come out with a sticky note that had the number to Samsung customer service. I asked if that meant no one was going to be able to help me and he stated that all they could do was give me the number to call. I underundersthat I was outside of the return policy which I was not trying to return it but get it fixed or looked at. I guess customer service is not what it use to be.
BestBuy representatives referred me to order my Tv online on 5/20. Paid for the Tv and today is 5/29 and I still don’t have the TV.. Nobody can help.. Store referred me to Fedex and Fedex said they are not sure when I will get it because it’s a a drop location and no one is there 🤔. But I do love this store but I am mad bc I can’t get my TV and it was a surprise for my mom..
Terrible customer service! Purchased a tv from them and when it was taken out of the box it was obvious it had been damaged before it was put in the box. We purchased the tv to put in a lake house so we didn’t open it for a few weeks. Brought it back and their reply was “Too bad. You should have checked it before because after 15 days no refund no return”. They wouldn’t even give us store credit or let us exchane it. Will never buy anything from Best Buy or Best Buy Online ever again!
Let me just say that the staff is GREAT, but the manager I think her name is Mirna is not. Her position has gotten to her head, she is rude and a non-friendly person. Her position has gotten over her head. Her talking to one of the team member- she so belittle them) if I where them I would of walked out.....she thinks that only her ideas are the best. I can’t believe that she has the Best Buy name. Bring back their old manger. He was respectful and friendly.
Found some good deals on open box for tablet, and for laptop, had to find the locked case. Myself, customer service, meh, some could care less, finally found one younger guy that made the sale, the other ones just treated me like they didnt think I was gonna buy, so did not try to help, guess they never know who has a pocket full of money and ready to spend, always treat customers with a smile, and that you are actually genuinely glad they came to your store, we could always find a place that shows a little more respect
For a Best Buy electronic store, the staff seems to know very little about the product in the store. Its bad when the customer has to educate the sales people. Went to buy a gimbal for my videos and even though they carry the item, nobody knew what it was or where to find it. I had to walk all around to locate it, with NO help from sales.
Purchased an accessory in March two days prior to the quarantine. Most retailers have extended their return policies to July. Contacted BB regarding returning the unused item and was told since it is outside of their June 1st return policy that only a store credit would be offered. At this time I do not plan to purchase anything from BB as they lack customer service and have nothing to offer me.
I give an excellent service score, hands down, for the Geek Squad there (like Sean), and for Christian (who I think is the manager) and for Stephen in Sales....But...had to drop the score down for some other sales folks who need some serious training (in the tv section). If Stephen hadnt shown up, I would have walked outta there without buying.Otherwise, great store.
Been looking at getting a smartwatch for a while. This store had a open box Samsung Gear S3 Frontier for $225. Couldnt find help in the Wearables area so I went to the customer service desk. Took about 5 minutes for someone to help me. Explained to the guy that I wanted to test the watch before I bought it because of my previous experience with smartwatches. He allowed me to and everything worked great so I bought it.
I changed out some components on my gaming PC due to some hardware issues. I was having a tough time with the computer and getting Windows to work. I brought in my rig for service to geek squad, which I normally wouldnt do because Ive been building my own computers for years, I just got frustrated with my issue and wanted someone else to do it for me.When I brought the computer in, the farthest I could get was in the BIOS, which was far enough to get work done. 4 day later when Geek Squad called and said my computer was finished. When I arrived, they told me that the GPU (an EVGA 1080Ti) was malfunctioning and was causing issues with getting windows installed, but they DID NOT INSTALL WINDOWS.Frustrated that they didnt install windows (they did refund my money, however), I go home to do it myself. I plug everything in, power up the computer.. then nothing.. Just a black screen.I go back with my computer even more angry and tell them that the computer wont even boot into the BIOS anymore and that its worse than when I brought it in. 10 minutes later, one of the geeks come out and say that the computer was brought in that way and that they will not take responsibility for what happened, and that I need to return the motherboard to the manufacturer for repair. Not only did they damage brand new computer components, they also would take no responsibility and pinned it all on me. I even contacted the store manager about what happened and she only repeated what they said and defended them.Geek Squad at this location is full of amateurs and do not have the maturity or courage to take responsibility for their actions. If my PC components werent covered under a warranty, Id have called a lawyer to suit them for their irresponsibilities.. now I have to take even more time off the computer I need to do everything myself

2022-02-24Took my 84-year-old neighbor to Best Buy to purchase a computer. The customer service was fine, but I was disappointed that they didn’t have any computers in stock, other than the show floor models. I had to drive to another location to pick up his computer. Their curbside pickup needs work, however, the staff was very nice and helpful.

2022-07-22Great experience there today with two extremely helpful and friendly workers. I was on a tight schedule and had misplaced my laptop charger, and the first one I bought wasnt working. Etran and Naomi both helped me quickly and went out of their way to make sure I had an economical working product so I can do my work.

2022-07-04Nice layout for products of different categories and very friendly people. The shelves were a little bare but was likely due to July 4th sales. This was the only store in the area that had the open-box deal I was looking for available for pick up today. I had some confusion about where to check out as the main line was closed; there was a small paper sign to check out at customer service. The desk was shared by purchases, pickup, and Geek Squad and the lines for each were not immediately clear as to which line was for what service.

2022-06-12Why are all store phone calls routed to a call center. They don’t accept any direct calls and you have to set up a call back to speak to someone in the store. Such a shame we had a simple question and I sure wasn’t going to schedule a call for them to call me back. What has happened Best Buy? This is senseless!

2022-06-02Prices are a little steep, but customer service was great.Had bought a ZAGG screen protector at another Best Buy location, and was not pleased with how it was installed, so I went to this location to have it replaced, and the Geek Squad employee that installed the new one for me did a phenomenal job.

2022-03-01Hate to complain but this location always seems short staffed. Employees seem friendly but the service is horrible. Knew what I wanted to buy and it was high up on shelf. Two associates spoke to me and told me a certain person has to grab it. I just wanted to buy and go. Waited at least 10 mins, got someone else and they did the same thing. Waited another 5 and nobody showed up. Wish they would get more support. Best advice is to order online or go to Arlington or Burleson locations. This one is going downhill.

2022-04-01Thank goodness Best Buy applies screen protectors. The curved screen on my S22 Ultra made it so hard. But Alex applied one perfectly within a few minutes. Very satisfied with the service.

2022-07-09Terrible Customer Service. Went in to check monitors for gaming. Not 1 person even asked if we need help. They were all 1 step away all talking and playing. Store was empty so what are they doing. First and last time in this Best Buy. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Only received 2 stars for walking in and out.
