We came in from Louisiana and let me tell you how nice our stay was! We felt welcome as soon as we walked through the door. We were greeted with the upmost respect and kindness. The first room we checked in was a bit warm, we went down and told him the problem, requested a new room and he immediately took care of the problem...no questions asked. He got us a whole new room as well. The rooms were very nice and clean. Fully stocked with all the essentials you needed. The outside was very well taken care of. The pool area as well. We sat by the pool area often, in a nice secluded spot to smoke. They were extremely accommodating to smokers. In which we greatly appreciated, because you dont necessarily see that often. The pool was very well kept and clean, we witnessed them cleaning everytime we were there. They had a lovely breakfast, which was unlimited to you. They allowed my nuisance of a self in so many times lol. Plenty of options as far as the breakfast was concerned also. The dining area very clean as well. All we ever saw was hard workers. People working around the clock. It was peaceful a peaceful stay altogether. Every worker greeted you with a Goodmorning and how are you. Professional, respectful, you name it! Nothing quite like southern hospitality. Cleaning staff, amazing!! Also quite considerate of you as well. You are near plenty of shopping and eating places. So thats a plus too! I highly recommend them and would give them more than 5 stars if I could!! We greatly appreciated our stay!
We were very happy with our Best Western stay this week! The room was very clean, and there were great mattresses on the beds! (From someone with back problems, the is a HUGE plus in a hotel stay!) The staff that checked us in and out were very nice and helpful, and the hot breakfast in the morning was very good! The next time we need an overnight stay in Atlanta, we will definitely be back!
Very nice stay. The hotel is older but well maintained. The beds were really comfortable and our ac worked wonderfully as did the heater. We ended up needing both in the few hours that we were there. Front office staff was nice. I heard that the breakfast was good but we didnt make it down in time.
We came in to town for a funeral. We arrived early & needed to check in to get ready for the funeral being held same day. No issue at all. We got keys to the room quickly. The staff are super friendly! The breakfast was a hit & the kids really enjoyed the swimming pool! Only down side was they do not allow pets.
I have family in this area and have stayed here probably 5 or 6 times. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and give good service, and the breakfast here cant be beat, especially considering its free. Im sure Ill be back again next time Im in town.
Stayed 3 nights. For the price, the room was considerably lackluster. The decor of the entire room seemed like it was from the 1990s - faded plaid bed sheets, grandparent-style lighting, and worn-out furniture. The hot breakfast consists of eggs, a DIY Belgian waffle, and one meat that changes daily. Given that it was regarded as the best hotel in Atlanta, which I believe after seeing the other hotels in the city, Ill leave 3 stars
This hotel is placed at the perfect location. Across the street from Walmart and just a short walking distance from a nice Chinese place and chicken express. Rooms are affordable. The beds are comfortable and all have a decent sized flat screen in them. They also have an outdoor pool. I stay here every time I work in town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place without emptying their pocketbook.
I live in this town and use this hotel for my out of town guest and sometimes just to bring the kids to swim... This was a last minute decision by my wife and Im not real happy with paying 20k points for a short night stay...vthi should be only 8-10k points. Its clean, comfortable beds, ok pillows and the usual boring breakfast items. nothing special here but its always be a good stay.I will return but do wish they would lower the point cost.
Youd think that for $100 a night youd have some peace and quiet.. #WRONG.!! Walls are super thin.. I was awaken early in the morning by someone in the neighboring room talking extra loud on their cellphone.. Rooms are clean and staff is nice but I wont stay here again if I dont have to..
Nice and clean, and comfy beds. Breakfast good. Terrible that the front service desk has a discustting idol. The stupid fat belly idol. The God of heaven and earth the God of Israel He is good,His mercy endures for ever to those who turn from such things He said no idols. So sad. Will not stay again because of that.
I’m posting this review sitting in the so called “ Best Western Pinewoods blah blah ..” hotel. Exlaiming best by self doesn’t make it best, I found just the reverse. Interior 🧐 , pillows - I mean who sleeps on sofa square cushions, toilet - didn’t even bother to put a new roll, a torn thin tissue roll welcomed us in a very traumatic trumpet and surprise when under covid 19, there’s no safety measures, no disinfecting wipes, no disinfecting alcohol in the lobby , even no masked receptionist putting us under open threat. While I was coming from Chicago , Drury Inn has all the safety protocols and even serving dinner, wine and breakfast for better customer safety and experience. Beeeest ... please you aren’t best , complimentary breakfast vanished under covid 19 scare. Sucks 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
Bedbugs! My children and I stopped to stay the night. My oldest daughter did not sleep because she was busy picking bugs that were crawling towards our faces while we slept. The next morning I woke up to my daughter visiably upset with several bedbugs she picked through the night saved in a rag. When we brought it to the front desk they took the rag/bugs and apologized, that is all! I will never ever stay there again! Travel inn is right down the street, half the price, and no bugs.
Our family has stayed at Best Western in Atlanta for about 10 years while visiting family. The people have gone out of their way to help us when needs arose. They are friendly, courteous, and have a pretty good breakfast bar. I was thrilled that it includes protein, not just continental breakfast, as some of our family eat the diabetic diet. I recommend a stay at Pineywoods Best Western in Atlanta, Tx. to travelers in the area.
I have made diamond status by staying frequently at the BW in Atlanta, TX. I was here on March 16th when the incident occurred with young people taking clothes out of washers and dryers. These young kids came here from Oklahoma to buy drugs. The Atlanta police department, arrested them, everyone got their belongings back. I live in Dallas now, but I lived in this community for most of my life. Never have I have seen this. Danny Patel does a super job of keeping everyone safe. I am here now and consider the staff here my family. Wonderful, kind people. My home town. Thank you BW for all you do for your guests. You are the best!Kathleen Jester
For a small town you would think there wouldnt be much of a hotel but when we walked into our room I could have sworn it was a brand new hotel it didnt even have that nasty hotel smell every thing even to the bathroom was very well maintained we even asked the front desk if they had recently remodeled or something and they had not it was just that nice!!

2022-05-15We had a room with black mold all over the shower. Obviously not cleaned in a LONG time. Switched rooms and then in the morning went to get breakfast to come back to the cleaning crew in our room. WE HAD NOT BEEN GONE FOR TEN MINUTES AND BEING 9AM HAD NOT CHECKED OUT. MANAGER WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL

2021-09-30This is an older hotel but well kept. Our rooms were clean but the furniture was older and the beds were a tad lumpy. The bedding was clean but just 2 sheets with a thin blanket between them instead of a comforter. For the price we’ve stayed stayed in newer places with a tad higher level of quality. The food and service was good and if we needed to stay in Atlanta again we’d pick this hotel.

2021-11-03Positive: It was clean, quiet and basic. Appropriate for the price. The doors on teh bedrooms are not fire rated; so pretty sure it was below code for fire safety. Negative: see, above. I was not that impressed by the quality of the provided breakfast. Particularly the hot food on offer.

2021-09-10I came here for a 1 day job for work in the area. The town of Atlanta is small with not many choices of stay, this looked like one of the better choices online. Check in was easy and the front desk was very nice. My room was clean and the A/C blowed cold. Bed are comfortable and water pressure was good as well. In the morning breakfast was ready on time with a hot breakfast consistenting of a ham and cheese taco with Coffee among other drink options. Overall a good stay.

2021-06-06A hidden gem. Public areas and private rooms are updated and spotless. Room was quiet and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating when we asked to stay an extra night. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay a night or two in East Texas.

2021-06-06When I called before I got there asked about early check-in front desk receptionist was VERY rude. Check-in was good, carpets looked and smelled like they havent been shampooed in years. All in all this is the best they have in Atlanta, TexasDefinitely not worth $110 a night
