The owner and the staff are always friendly and helpful. They are also very knowledgeable and will not try to convince you to get extra maintenance that isnt necessary. They do stay fairly busy, so try to sneak in the early morning to have the shortest wait time. This is strange for a work place but everybody seems to love what they do and love working there. This passes onto their work which shows with superb workmanship. This is the only place I take my vehicles to.
I live out of town and ended up with a screw in each of my back tires. I just happened to pop in to Big Joe’s and experienced the most honest and excellent advice. Customer service is still alive and well. If I lived here, there is no doubt where I would have my car serviced. Keep up the great work!!
I have been shopping at BIG JOE Tires, 10324 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78410, for many years. JOE has always provided outstanding service, quality tires, and the best prices. I have all my tire services: new tires, tire balancing, tire rotation, flats repaired, front end alignments, etc at BIGJOE Tires and I have always been very satisfied with their service. They make all repairs and adjustments quickly and I can rely upon them to do a good job. JOE is very friendly, dependable, honest, an a honorable man. I trust him completely and he keeps my family vehicles running safely and dependably. With BIG JOE Tires you will be worry free. I strongly recommend BIG JOE Tires!
Great staff with excellent customer service. I know when I bring my car here its in professional hands. All they techs are certified. They offer a range of car services including but not limited to batteries, tires, rims, oil change, state inspections, and mechanic work. The employees are always willing you help, and never charge for something you dont need. They are HONEST! They are like family and treat you like family. I will always take my cars to Big Joes tire and auto. Thank you guys.
They add more parts and labor that doesnt need to be fixed and has nothing to do with the issue you are having. They lie their way out. They take your money and the problem still doesnt get fix. Just fix it yourself. You probably do a better job and parts will cost you less. The system needs to be set up for no stars.
Excellent customer service, with mechanics that are knowledgeable and experienced. I hit a curb in my 2014 Civic, which are cheaply made but thats another review. It messed up my alignment enough that their was a horrible wobble while driving, and it didnt seem safe. The mechanic at Big Joes used their well calibrated machine, and even showed me before and after metrics, while explaining in detail what he did underneath to adjust. The price was $90 for my alignment. Some would argue that I could get it cheaper elsewhere, but what is $10, $20, or even $30 compared to the thousands of dollars in future maintenance. The extra few bucks was worth the customer service alone.
Ive known these guys for years, since they were at delta, and trust them with my vehicles. I dont understand how they could be racist with such a diverse staff, nor do i believe they are sexist. Ive spent some money there since they have opened, and do not regret any of it. They are very caring and polite. They always give off a very helpful attitude with a concern to treat you the best way they can and within your budgett. Its the only place i go for tires and much more. Joe, the owner, seems to be a very down to earth guy and very knowledgable.
I was a former employee there. They are the worst type of mechanic shop. They scam people out of there money for parts and time not needed. plus a couple of the employees are racist, sexist, and out right disgusting. There is one good employee there, Jon. I feel sorry for him having to be there. They do not even deserve the One Star i gave them.

2021-12-16Had issues with a fuel pump in August.. towed my car into the shop on a no start condition.. paid for diagnosis. They claimed it was the fuel pump.. they was $350 for a new one. I found the part 2 stores down for $220 not oem. A full week and a half later on a 2 hour labor job I waited for them to install the part. I was told it was likely I had a bad fuse block because of how the codes were reading. Less than 2 and a half months later the fuel pump stops working. I replace the TIPM myself and find the relay used to jump the fuse block.. gentle tugs on the but connectors and the wiring came right out.. these guys cant even crimp electrical wires correctly Id share pictures if I could. Brought the truck to another shop in Corpus after spending countless hours trying to figure out the problem, dropping the fuel tank myself and putting in another fuel pump. The second mechanic couldnt find the issue after 1 hour of diagnosis.. I get a ride to the shop and get the truck after they offer to drop the fuel tank and install another pump for ~$500.At home I look at the electrical connector from the box to the pump. The main harness that goes to the fuel pump has a faulty connector.. all the lines in the connector are represented by the codes that come up. I order a new connector and zip tie the current connector back together, drive 50miles and run diagnostic codes after clearing the computers codes.. nothing comes up. Not 1 code.Cant even diagnose a loose harness connector on a dodge ram. These stores dont diagnose. They sell. They find the most profitable option and they sell the repair. If you know what the problem is and its something you cant possibly repair yourself use a shop. Dont expect these guys to diagnose your problem even if its extremely basic.Labor, 2 fuel pumps and a Tipm replacement and the fuel relay bypass later ($1300 plus dropping a fuel tank and putting the pump in myself) this could have all been solved with a mechanic properly tracing an electrical line just by checking connectors.. guess that doesnt pay well as 2 hours labor and a fuel pump though.

2021-11-19Dont bring your car or truck here to get repaired. They charge me full price $400 and didnt complete the work. Claimed I had faulty old parts on my brake system just so they wouldnt complete the full job. Then wanted full payment. Rip off
