They were slow and was able to get my wifes car in right away for 4 new tires and an alignment. Store manager and Ben were very helpful in tire selection and options. Will be back for more services and tires when the time arises. About an hour for all my work in a comfortable cool friendly environment. Keep up the good work!
I came to this place to check out my SUV when all of my service lights were coming on they were very patient and understanding and took their time to make sure they figured out what was wrong it turned out just to be my oil so they took care of that as well as quoting me for anything else that needed to be fixed it was very helpful easy and they have great customer service pricing isn’t too bad either I will definitely be coming back here again.
I needed new tires and the Walmart tire department is a complete and total joke, so I decided to get them at NTB, but when I arrived I found out that it had been replaced by Big O Tires. Well see how good these tires are before I make a final rating. So far Im impressed after I left there and went to a couple of stores and then back home. Its a very smooth ride. Im also adding another picture of one of the tires.
This place has been extremely helpful for me in the past month with my unforeseen tire issues. Service was quick. The sitting area was clean and comfortable. Martin the manager for this store was friendly and helpful and you can tell the staff had a good working vibe together. Definitely will be my place to go moving forward.
The customer service is good and cordial. I have only ever had two issues and that was 6 years ago when one of the mechanics who did my oil change didnt remove a huge piece of plastic under my car that I apparently ran over. It caused my car to over heat and I was able to remove it myself. The same mechanic also forgot his tool kit under my hood. I took it back and he gave me a discount for the return and the mistake of the plastic.I mostly go for simple things regarding an oil change, tire pressure checks, tires, rotations, brake checks, and wheel alignments. I have never had a problem so far and will continue to use them if the service stays great!
Great customer service. Believe it or not they beat discount tire price and gave me a great deal. With great warranty on all tires free rotation and replacement, same as discount does. but they beat discount with out the door price. I will start taking my vehicles there. plus I didnt have to wait hours and hours for my vehicle like people normally do at discount tire.
If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Got my tires replaced here, with excellent service. However, we went back for a hose check for our AC. They said they performed a pressure test and it was ONLY the heater hose. Obviously they did not. I had a REAL mechanic look at the truck and turns out, they cracked our coolant tank from tightening the lid too tight, also very unprofessional with the paint marking it, its all over the cap and tank. The mechanic did a pressure test and the other hose is leaking as well. We also had BIG O tires check our wheel bearings since the truck was making an odd sound. They said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it, and 2 people inspected it. The Mechanic said the rear wheel bearing were COMPLETELY shot and the front ones were going out as well. The mechanic also stressed how we should not be driving it since it was so unsafe. Good to know that BIG O tires is willing to lie to their customers because they do not want to complete their work successfully. I went back to the store to discuss this with them and was completely blown off and was told “To take it to the other mechanic then”. Very unprofessional after we have spent over $1200 there on their services. I’ve already contacted corporate so hopefully they resolve this issue and give us our money back since we are about to be out $1,400 because of their mistakes.
I bought the full synthetic groupon deal for an oil change which was an amazing deal! If it is still available i think its worth it! The staff was amazing and honest, no shady sales tactics or pushy people. They were straight to the point and efficient. Made an appointment and stuck to it for the most part.
Went to discount tire. I had a nail in my tire. The sales kid looked at all my tires then asked me to come inside. He starts by saying “obviously you need three new tires”. Never explained what he saw what the problem was and why. I said no it’s not obvious. After a few minutes of discussion he presents to me an estimate. I said I need something more economical. He says. We don’t have anything else in stock.Went to BIG O, where I was met by a more mature gentleman who immediately addressed the fact my tire was not repairable. And started to give options. Maybe two tires now and we rotate and two new ones at a later time. Reasonable type conversation. He looked for options on different cost of tires. Said we have these and these we don’t have these but I can have them here from our warehouse. I saved over $300 from what discount quoted me. I had to leave my car on a busy Saturday cause the tires had to be delivered from the warehouse. I figured it be later that after or evening before I was called. I left BIG O at 10:30 AM. I received a call at 12:30 my car was ready. All around great service and great price on some copper tires.

New Mgr of this place has no idea what customer service is, as soon as I went in the place, guy had an attitude. I had to match his attitude to calm him down. Worst part, they ruined both my aluminum wheels, 1/4 deep perfect circular cuts. His excuse is that his equipment has plastic covers. When I approached him about my wheels, he stated his boss would be on vacation for two weeks. This place has gone down hill big time ever since Martin left. Very disappointed right now.
Fairly quick service, but my tire pressures were set too low. The tires were hot, so 39 lbs of pressure were needed (4 lbs more than the recommended cold tire pressure of 35). I’m glad that I double checked this at Costco, because the hot tires had only 35 lbs of pressure. Word to the wise, Costco has a free air pressure check and you don’t need to be a member to use it. Costco even explains that if you’ve driven 3 or more miles, you need to add 4 lbs of pressure to your tires. Their machine stops when it reaches the set air pressure.
Service was fast and the team was very friendly. I was however a little upset that there was no alignment check done after my new tires were put on. Now I have to take time off of work AGAIN to have this done. The paper said it was performed, but no one did it and I know for certain there is an alignment issue and someone should have noticed. Isnt this something that is checked when new tires are put on?? I mentioned it when I made the appointment!
Had a screw in my tire, was told that tire wS out of stock and would have to wait an hour, but the cashier and the manager decided to double check their inventory, found one replaced it at no charge other than purchasing a new warranty on the tire. Could have easily just plugged the tire. But instead they went out of their way to find me the tire abd replace it. Great service
Very disappointed. My truck is only a year old and never had any issues. I always make sure my vehicle is in good shape. I dropped my truck off in good condition to getting it returned with a disturbing noise coming from under the hood. Apparently, my belt had a crack according to the notes. I called and spoke to Paul(I think thats his name) and was pretty much told that there is nothing they can do and they “don’t touch” anything during an oil change. Just very upset to now have to replace something that had never been reported on any of my oil changes in the past.
The service member was very courteous and professional. He mentioned that there was an hour an a half wait which I found reasonable considering I didnt have an appointment and theyre really busy. I was in an out of there in about an hour. Ive taken my truck there since I purchased it two years ago and will continue to do so. Very clean and safe waiting area and professional staff.
The service was great, I had to get all new tires and brakes price not to bad and since I had such a long wait the offered to take me wherever I need to go. I chose to stay but I forgot my phone charger and the gentleman was kind enough to let me use it the whole time there. Thanks for the kind service. Oh n my car drives great again.
More training is needed at this location especially for Paul. After having my tires replaced on the front I found out the alignment was off and tires were balding I had them check the alignment and they said all was good. I went to there other location on babcock and they checked it and said it was off. They just want you in and out of this location lazy workers!
Paul and the team were amazing! I got a great price on reliable tires with an instant rebate, an excellent warranty, alignment, and oil change. They are more professional than Firestone and I feel like they ensured the job was completed well! I will always go here instead of Firestone from now on.
They did not rotate or balance tire as I requested. I have warranty with Big O Tires as I replace all tires a year ago at this location. The only reason I know they did not peforme the work is because the car still has a little vibration and the one tire that was recently replaced by Big O Tires due to a nail is still on the rear driver side. I called to ask why they did not perform the work, I was thinking there had to be a reason but to my surprise the technician said he did rotate and balance the tires which I know he did not. I asked to speak to a manager and they were not available, I left my name and number and still no call back.
The people at Big O were great. My AC stopped cooling in the middle of a Texas August. Stopped at two different AC repair garage. Car spent a total of 4 days with no fix. I took it to Big O and within one hour they had found a bad control and an AC sensor shorted to ground.They were very knowledgeable professionals that told me exactly what was wrong. Repaired my car and made feel like they really cared.Impressed me so much, I brought my motor home to them. I got the same outstanding service. Also got four new tires for the car as well as their nation wide tire warranty.I can’t seem to praise this Big O team enough.Thanks team!
I’m not a Big O Tires customer but I needed a repair done on my spare tire, before a road trip starting on Monday, and my regular tire place isn’t open on Sunday. Paul was very helpful and got my spare tire repaired and in working condition. Though they had to replace the valve stem, use other materials, and spent some of their working hours on it, Paul did not charge me a thing! Next time I am in need of tires I will certainly consider Big O tires. Thank you for helping me out.
The greeting was pleasant and the intake was quick for a simple nail in the tire. Technician asked me twice if i was interested in purchasing tires. Replied same answer of no. Came back 10 minutes later to ask again. Kind of annoying at this point. They took forever plugging my tire and didnt bother to properly inflate it once done. Went to pay and cashier said 32.99 just to pull a nail. Asked why so high and her answer was to stay competitive with competitors. Not sure what competitors are charging but its not 32.99.
We have gone to Big O Tires since they were NTB. They take great care of our 3 vehicles. The staff is really awesome, always nice and helpful. We usually drop our vehicles off and come back when its ready. The mechanics keep us informed if they ever find anything we may need or recommend. I have never felt pressured by them in anyway. I would recommend BOT for tires and maintenance to your car/truck to anyone who asks.
Cooperative, good service for oil change but i had asked for condition of tires, did not get that report but did fill my request for prices on several choices. Impressed by quick responses by order desk ( young lady). i do believe you price on simple oil & filter is extreme. Am happy that you offer Vet discounts, it gives me reasons to consider as my choice of tire dealer. Love the fact that your Bigfoot has the extra benefits and that it is made in USA! Paul was extremely nice & very helpful to not only me but, every other customer I saw come in. 5 stars for his customers service! As far as the other older gentlemen working the counter his attitude was completely different. A simple brighter attitude could turn someone’s day around. The 2 people I saw him argue with was strictly due to his customer service. If he would’ve handled it in a different manor there would’ve been different outcomes. A young man he argued with had got on the phone next to me & I happened to hear he was going through a really big issue and tough time at the moment (I don’t want to put out the issue but, I’ll just say it was incredibly heartbreaking to hear). If only the older gentlemen at the counter would’ve had a better attitude towards customers he probably would’ve helped this man and not added on more frustration. Even a simple smile. I hope the Rep sees this & might have a better understanding of why not being so “macho” and mean to most customers could go along way.
Horrible, do not come for any form of tire replacement or anything that has to do with your wheels. Took 2 hours to mount a tire on a single wheel, didn’t check the wheel at all as have never had anyone damage the wheels and are not repairable wheels. Have gone to Firestone down the street many times and 0 damage, my wheel is scraped and has deep gashes and scratched all over. Stay away from this place! I visited on Sunday, 17 May for an oil change after calling ahead of time to inquire about the wait since I didnt have an appointment. I was told by a female employee it would be done if I got to the store prior to 4 pm, and arrived at about 3:45 pm.Jesus Garza is the employee on my invoice, and the time stamp on my invoice is 4:35 pm. I would like to thank the staff working that afternoon for being polite and helping me so close to the end of the work day.As an added bonus, they honored the coupon I had on my phone for $40 off a synthetic oil change. I was very pleased to be able to maintain my car after missing an appointment at the dealership and not getting a reply to reschedule.
Well, it wasnt what I expected. Was going to get an oil change buy two new tires, and check the front end alignment for a trip. Unfortunately they found that front wheel bearings, outside tie rods were very worn. In addition recommended replacing front brakes and rotors. A simple little 1 1/2 HR appt. Turned into a 4 hour wait. Had I known that starting out I would not have stayed there waiting. I could not afford all the repairs at once, but am thankful that I did not go on that trip without replacing the wheel bearings and tires. I have already lost a left front wheel driving down the road at 70 mph and it was not good at all.
I went In for a tire alignment. I was told the wait would be 1 and1/2 hours. Two hours later I got my car. It seems that cars are pulled into the shop then left until the customer asks for a status update. I did as did 2 others. My car was then attended and I left. The 2 front line staff members were courteous and the waiting room was a nice 71°. I would probably never return or recommend this location to anyone.
Came in for an oil change and break inspection. Preparing for a road trip so wanted to make sure car was in good shape. When arriving the man told me he didn’t see my appointment I had called the day before and made. He took my keys and told me to have seat. It didn’t take long they gave me my receipt but not the paper they normally give that let’s you know of anything needs to be changed soon or in good shape. I asked about my breaks and he said they were fine.I drive home and later driving I noticed my car making a weird blowing noise. Took back the next morning and they looked at. The man told me they did something wrong with the oil filter handed me a paper and walked away. Not the best experience this was my first time at this location.
This particular lication is the BEST. I come here for everything automotive that they can fix here. The whole team is attentive and take care of the patrons. Best customer service that I have ever had. This team deserves a bonus for doing such a great job. Came here to get my tire fixed due to a nail and they found a bulge in one of my other tires. Staying loyal to this location.
I took my truck in to have the starter replaced. All they had to do is take the old one off and put the new one it should have only taken about 15 minutes to do. They kept my truck for 4 hours and charged me 2 hours of labor. My bill was about $500. The part cost me $300 alone when I could have gotten the same part elsewhere for about $250. When I left my truck starts good but suddenly has a brand new problem. It keeps wanting to stall when I stop at a light or stop sign and it did not do that before I brought it in. Avoid this place.
Great experience business owners and management should be proud, this guy wasn’t worried about making the one time sale, but what he did was create a customer who the next time some one asks me about tires Big O tires will be coming out of my mouth.Took a tire in for a repair
Went to receive an oil change, and was impressed by quality of service. The young man that initially helped me was courteous and very customer service oriented. They were busy, and I did have a bit of a wait, but that was expected considering the community is just starting to run errands again. The manager was very courteous and friendly and overall service was excellent. The waiting area was also very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this business.
To the day leading up to my visit to Big O Tires I was nervous because I didnt know anything about tires. I just knew I needed tires. So I went to the location off culebra and 1604 next to Walmart. I met Mr Paul Armstrong, he walked me through what I needed and why I needed it. He was very professional, he made my visit very pleasant, Big O Tires off culebra and 1604 will always have my business, I highly recommend this location.
I left discount tire because they were a mess and didn’t seem to know their own process. After nearly 15 minutes of waiting, I was told I would have to stand in another line...I left, went to Big O and had the tire I wanted installed in less than 40 minutes. No up selling, no pushing of programs or products I didn’t need or want. Just a straight forward transaction, what I wanted, no more. Rare these days.
Was in a hurry, needed to drop off my truck for an oil change and jump in another ride to get to work. Had a Groupon, they checked me in and I was out in a couple mins. Picked my truck up after work, They made a couple service suggestions and I was on my way. Great experience!
Service was as expected, purchased Groupon and paid the little extra for shop supplies. If you can drop your vehicle off, do so! There is always an approx 2hr wait. If you have big rims and tires dont expect your tires rotated, they dont have a torque wrench big enough. Still a good deal for an affordable oil change.
Came in for a last minute screw in my tire that could not wait! I came in 30mins till closing and the guy that took care of getting me all set up in the front was nice. Did not have an attitude about me coming in 30 minutes till closing and told me there was still plenty of time! Thank you for your positive attitude and taking care of my situation! Stay safe!
Everybody at the store was very friendly and the price was right, thank you.However, after the new tires were put on, my minivan had horrible vibrations at highway speeds that were non existent before. I went back and they happily re-balanced the front wheels. This made it a bit better, but not even close to right. After driving like this all the way back to Dallas from San Antonio, I went to discount tire the next morning, where they re-balanced all 4 tires which they said were all out of balance. This fixed the issue. I think Big Os machine needs calibrating or is broken.
Price was good cuz I used a Groupon deal but I will NOT be coming back to this place. I had an appointment for an oil change at 1, my car did not get serviced until 1:30 and the new tech forgot to rotate the tires (which I had to request them to do), reset oil life, put an updated mileage sticker and I doubt they even did the multipoint inspection. What should take no more than 45 minutes, took over 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete.
Eventhough buying tires is a big expense Im happy I did. My left rear tire had been fixed a few weeks ago. Then one morning my warning lights came on for that same tire. This time I went to Big O. They took me in that morning. The same tire had gotten a split right down the middle. The tires that were on car were the ones from the dealer. Big O told me my front two tires were wearing down. I got a set of 6 ply tires and alignment. I left feeling much safer.
I’m extremely satisfied with treatment and professionalism displayed by the staff at Big O. When they weren’t able to accommodate my price point with inventory at their store, Jessica promptly volunteered to go retrieve tires at another location. She was also incredibly kind and offered a discount for my inconvenience. That was so unexpected (mostly because SHE had to go get the tires and I did nothing) and so appreciated. I have found a new place for me and my family to do business.
Was not pleased with this location. When completing the work the mechanic did not take my truck on a test drive to see if the alignment was straight. Had to ho back, but when to a different location. Also every time when I looked out into the garage, it always appeared my truck was just sitting there. They told me I was leaking brake fluid which I knew was a lie because my truck is always parked in my garage and there are no leaks on my garage floor, and some how magically my dash cam was off, and my dash can stays on even with the vehicle off. On top of all that, there was one time when I looked out into the garage and saw one of the mechanics sitting down, and was on his phone which I could see as I was in back of him. I wont be going to this location ever again.
Brought my vehicle in for an appointment to fix a poorly done alignment that was done by them the previous week. Brought the vehicle in 10 minutes prior to my appointment time and the alignment bay was empty. Almost an hour later my car still isnt being worked on as I was told the other car was there before me. I asked if they had an appointment and was told this car was here for 2 days....Bottom line seems to be that appointments are not much better than walk-ins and that some items could take multiple days apparently. Martin (Mar-teen), not sure if there are multiple Martins working there, wasnt apologetic for the wait at all and just said you have to wait cause this car has been here for 2 days. Really regret buying a 3 year alignment deal from them and will be taking my business elsewhere for everything else.
Jessica was really great. I was getting the run around in a different place, and Im sure glad I did. I called Big O, and Jessica listened to me gripe about my bad experience that I just had with another company. She gave me a quick quote of buy 3 and get 1 free. Ive worked in sales all my life so I know Big O is still making a profit. It just sounds good, and I needed that. They took my car to put on the tires right away. Thanks Jessica and Big O.
I’ve been to the shop multiple times for random services and oil changes. It was a good experience until today.During the week my wife and I drove in twice to be turned away for an inspection. Friday we were informed at noon the inspection guy would be there until they closed. We arrived at 6pm and was told yet again they couldn’t do the inspection because he left early for Halloween celebrations. I was annoyed, but the man said to come back Sunday after 11 and he would get me in and out because of the multiple issues from earlier in the week.I get there today and am told I will have to wait 3 hours for the inspection. Our service engine light came on Saturday night and I told the guy about it. He wanted to charge me $65 to hook it up to their computer. I explained the amount of times I drove in to be turned away after talking to people on the phone telling us to come in. He didn’t want to hear it and proceeded to lecture me on how Dr. charge patients to be seen. I asked if he would go back or pay full price if the Dr. office canceled his appointment 2 times without warning and told him he would have to wait for over 3 hours. He didn’t answer my question. I then turned around and left never to give them my business again.Just before leaving this elderly woman who was very nice was charged $149 for them to replace 2 broken tail lights. If you value your money and want your family/the ladies in your family treated right I would avoid this location.All the wrong decisions were made today and I hope they grow from this, they won’t have my business any longer unfortunately.
I got my vehicle inspected here. Excellent customer service, very friendly. It was the end of the month when everyone was trying to get their vehicle inspected and I could tell they were swamped but they still managed to get me in and out of there in an hour. And it was not a bad hour, very comfortable area to sit and wait in. My car passed the inspection and they told me about a couple of issues to keep an eye on but made no attempt to sell me something that I didnt need. Will definitely be taking my car back to them in the future.
I go to Big O Tires for my vehicle needs because I’m always treated with respect & honesty. The personnel there take care of my needs & ensure I know what is going on with my vehicle. At my age, I need all the help I can get, and this is the place (store) I receive it!
I went in with a Groupon for a synthetic blend oil change. I asked the guy that greeted me if I was able to use that one on my car and he said yes. Fast forward to after the oil change, there is a different person at the counter and he asked me if Ive ever brought my car there I said no and he said that was the only and last time that they will do a synthetic blend change on my car because my car required full blend, which he mentioned about 3 times while cashing me out. He kind of made me feel like I was in trouble or something, which I only continued with the oil change because the first guy said it was okay. I am really just wondering if that was a case why they even did the oil change to begin with if the first guy didnt see an issue with it and neither did the technician that did the oil change... My Groupon also came with an inspection and tire rotation which he did not even mention if anything was found, like he did to the 3 people before me or even that everything looked good, so I am not even sure if they performed those services.I called the dealership and they told me that full synthetic was not required, just recommended and that the cost for the full synthetic blend with them was $20 cheaper than what I was quoted at NTO ( I asked before leaving, for future reference, was the full blend price was )The whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth.The 2 stars was given for convenient location and time it took to complete service.
They do a great job repairing and maintaining my vehicle. They keep their word when the car will be completed. I dont have to wait all day or longer for work to be evaluated then finished. I trust the manager to make sure the work is reliable and high quality. I refer others there and I will continue to trust this business for all my auto mechanic work.
Went for alignment on Monday at 10am assuming this would be a slow time for them. I was right, in and out all in about 30mins !Only reason for not pegging 5 stars was I was given my alignment read out and noticed my caster was still out of spec. I had to ask the service desk what it meant, would have expected them to explain the results rather than just handing them over with no comments. Other than that I appreciated the time to get my alignment complete.
After having my car serviced, I got it back with my glove compartment open and all of my things in the glove compartment on the floor. Also found a piece that was not put back into place Im assuming for the cabin air filter. I used this place twice and both times Ive requested a simple tire rotation and both times they were not done after i asked multiple times. I took it back the first time but I will not be returning to this location.
Could be much better. Just watched the mechanic punch in my dipstick and break it. Waiting for a new dipstick to arrive (pun intended). The manager was very apologetic and explained they were on top of it. Trying not to go to jail today. I have stronger feelings for my car than 99% of all living things. Dont punch my car, its just not worth it. I have come here before with no issues and received honest good work.
Short review: they take care of their customers.Long review: I am blown away by this locations ability to help thier customers. I NEVER felt like I was being taken advantage of and I felt like they had my best interest in mind. I orginally visited them in September for an Oil change but since my car was hitting 70,000 and never had the brakes or tires replaced it was time for that to occur. I was worried about the cost but Jessica worked really hard to give me the best deal possible and even made me feel comfortable calling my husband to get a second opinion. I know that seems silly but some shops make women like myself feel pressured into doing this that are not needed and they did not do that. Anyway after showing me a groupon deal available at the time we got an oil change, roters, tires and brakes done. The whole process was easy and I was comfortable. I also worked with John and Martin while were so helpful and nice. This will now be my Go To place for anytime I need an oil change. I highly encourage you to check them out. Joi
3 hours I waited for them to rotate my tires and change my oil. It was not on a busy day or at a busy time of day. The person who worked on my car put their greasy hands all over the interior of my vehicle. That bothers me because that shows lack of keeping a sanitary work area or respecting your clients vehicles. Furthermore, the customer service rep in the lobby pushed on three separate attempts to try and get me to do another service. I won’t go in to detail but it was pushy and showed that it wasn’t about customer service it was about getting the last dollar out of the customer. Thanks for the oil change and rotation, at least you can enjoy a star for finally finishing the job.PS If you are an employee here and you decide to come in to the lobby to grab a drink, please make sure to wash your greasy & dirty hands before touching multiple guest cups in the stack before you select yours.... your customers lips go on those cups, man.
They are now owned by Big O Tires. Had an excellent experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Service is while you wait. But if you do wait, expect it to be a while. Best to drop off and pick up later. They do a number of repairs, not just tires. Awesome road hazard and flat repair service. Check them out if you need their services.
The WORST customer service...EVERY TIME! I stopped in 40 minutes before closing because I had just noticed a piece of metal in my tire. Well Lance Orr,tending at the front said that because I didnt have an appointment that they wouldnt be able to fix or do anything because they were working on an SUV with an appointment--they were obviously trying to leave at 1900 closing--one SUV and 3 people there--he finally at least looked at the tire when I insisted and then said they couldnt fix if it had a puncture because it may be near the side, and that Id have to buy a new tire! Having purchased 8 tires and lifetime alignment for two vehicles on same day nearly two years ago, you would expect they would at least look up our warranty plan to let me know a new tire would be prorated versus automatically taking a negative position--not only until my husband arrived did they back track and say theyd stay late and only looked up warranty when he questioned them. We have dealt with 2 years of miserable service and will return to Discount Tire where our business is appreciated, because these employees are incompetent -- rest assured I will notify BBB and local military installations, so they get put on terrible service list.
One star because the man that assisted me seemed to have some what of an attitude. He could’ve been having a bad day, but regardless didn’t help me as best as he could. While on the phone I told him my situation and he told me “I don’t have your tire” and proceeded to end the call. At every job there is alway a option, either to order or to look if another location has it. This man did neither. I later went into the location and I asked a lady if it was possible to order my tire, she passes me to that man (she was busy). I ordered from him because it was only him and her available. The girl did a great job and so did the young gentleman that assisted me when I picked up my vehicle. I work in customer care, and I expect to be helped the way I help others. I hope this feed back helps the man that assisted me in the beginning.
I saw the relatively negative reviews, but my daughters Jetta needed an alignment one weekend when she was home from college, and requesting an appointment online was straightforward and available that day, so I took a chance. Everything went great. The service writer was very helpful, the work was done on time, and the alignment report was very detailed. Recently, I was changing the brakes on my sons car and realized it needed an alignment, so I took a chance again, and once again everything went really well. As far as alignments go, Ive had two really good experiences with this location. Jimmy Mendez was my most recent service writer.
Took my car here like 2 weeks ago for a tire replacement. The service was good, but I just noticed that I have a missing lug nut on the tire that was replaced. Thankfully, I was able to find this before any serious damage occurred. This is not acceptable. I will not be going back to this place.
Big O tires on Loop 1604 is terrible at sales, they are horrible at customer service, and they are not veteran friendly at all . I made an appointment there and drove all the way from Hondo just to have one of the managers tell me it will be a two hour wait. I tried to ask what an why and all he stated is we fill up fast. Do not go this establishment they are rude and also over priced. I will never go back there again. James
I came in minutes before closing with a flat tire. I was afraid I would be turned away due to the time. I really appreciate everything they did for me. They got me my tires and ready to go. Vince is awesome! He went above and beyond! Best customer service ever! Really happy with my experience and I definitely recommend this location to anyone. Thanks again!
Worst experience ever. I walked into Big O Tires to ask for a quote on replacing 4 tires on a Nissan Altima. As I spoke to the store rep Jessica I expressed to her that after my previous tire installation at Sams Club my Tire Pressure Sensors started failing and I was concerned about that happeneing again if i decided to install new ones with the new set of tires. Jessica offered they could test my TPMS Sensors and determine which ones are not working. After they performed the test, my front right and rear left sensors showed to be failing. After all work was done I drove back home and within 5 miles the check tires light turned ON in my dashboard. Next morning I drove 5 miles back into the store for them to check their work. Jessica comes to tell me that they ran a different scan in my car and the other 2 sensors were out of battery. That if they ran one test they come out good but on the different one shows low battery. I told her I wanted a refund of my money and that I would take my business somewhere else because for me it raised a red flag the fact that they did not performed that second test before. I was told I could not get a refund on my purchase because I had drove the tires already, I told jessica I have only drove them back home and back to the store so there were only 10 miles into the tires and that if I had not been misled by them I would have never drove back home knowing there was an existing issue. Now Im forced to pay for them to fix their mess even though Im not happy with them and I would rather take my business somewhere else, but I cant because they claim not to be able to perform a return.Big corporations always taking advantage of the consumers that keep them alive.
Good people fast service and got a full quote of what all is wrong. But not Recommended at all. After a couple days of my wife hearing a loud motor and the drive not the same. I decide to do a job I paid this company to do. Turns out the oil cap was half on with oil spilled on top, a hose disconnected to air filter which was not screwed back just left open and a shock disconnect in the glove box. Lets see how much damage this will cost me in the long run.Highly recommend that you do not even look at this company
I bought a Groupon for this place. Like most places, they tried to upsell me on other things. Part of the deal was a tire rotation. That was never done. I was also told 2 of my tires were low. There was never an offer to put air in them. So I drove down the street to a competitor and they aired them up without me spending any money there at all.
The word trust can be found throughout the store. I can certainly say I trust this family. When I got into my car accident it was stressful to say the least. Vince treated me and my wife like family and really made sure we were taken care of. The store really went out of their way to make us feel like our concerns were values. We were in constant communication to the point it was like calling family. This experience with Big O Tires has been a blessing, thank you to Vince and his team for going the extra mile and then some! We will certainly be going back to this store for our mechanical needs.
Had a Groupon and got the oil change and 5 point inspection. Was supposed to come with tire rotation but I guess they decided not to do that. The annoying part was the 5 point inspection, first they came saying my control arms were old and needed changing, then like 5 minutes later magically I need a new dip stick and dip stick tube. I feel like they broke my dip stick because it was fine before going in there. The annoying part is theyre way overcharging on the parts for the replacements. I found a dip stick and a dip stick tube (and control arms) online for 70% cheaper than theyre offering. Idk if Im going back honestly. I shouldve read the group reviews first.
I have used them a couple of times and they haven’t let me down yet. Always super friendly and pretty quick. Prices are also very reasonable and that’s all we ask for these days. I will use them again for sure. And. I drive 15 past other shops to use them specifically.
First of all, its comical that the only good reviews are from Google users. Seems like somebody is faking good reviews because there is nothing good about this place from their employees to their managers. I was told that a simple oil change would take an hour and half. Decided to pick it up later. Came back 4 hours later and these lazy, sorry excuse for automotive serviceman were JUST driving the car out. They take hours upon hours to do the simplest tasks because each embarrassing worker there moves slower then the next one. They purposely move slow so they can service fewer cars than they should be doing. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION since you will be unhappy and disappointed if you choose to. The staff has zero people and customer service skills and they do not care about the business. They are only interested in over charging you and selling you things you dont need which is ironic because they obviously do not want to do the work. I wish somebody would just burn this place to the ground.
Came in on a Sunday to replace a burst tire. Wait time 2 hours to replace both front tires. Paid, and checked just to be sure..... they only replaced the left tire!!!! Turns out they only had one in stock and “forgot” to pick second tire at nearby store. Had to wait another 1.5 hrs to get the right side done. No offer for compensation.Mistakes can happen, but I have a feeling this was deliberate attempt, since I told them I had to drive home for 350 miles same day.
Though i used a groupon coupon for a oil change, they also told me i needed new back brakes and rotors because they were metal to metal, ....had breaks done some place else, still had some pad left, and rotors were fine. Women, watch out! These places always think we believe everything they say! Get a second opinion! Used the one on 1604 and Culebra in San Antonio.
Listen to the reviews and Do Not take your vehicle here for an alignment. I arrived today for an alignment and they right away said I needed new suspension, tires, etc.Went in read the reviews while I sat there and stood right up and asked for my keys luckily they hadnt worked on it yet.Went to Santa Ana Auto Motive and that was the best decision I made they were honest and only charged me $55 for just the front alignment turns out my back didnt need it and my tires and suspension werwe all great.You should be ashamed of yourself for taking advantage of people.
Came here to to have my alignment checked, They did it for free and they also check the suspension for free to let me know there’s nothing wrong with the car. The gentleman who helped us was polite and professional. Will definitely come back here if I have any problem with the car.
I would not recommend going here for your tire service needs. I kept getting a flat so I took my wheel/tire. The rep. said it would cost $32 just to check it with no guarantee they could even repair it, and it would take about an hour for them to do so. Needless to say it was empty. There was no one in the lobby or parking lot. We went down the street to Discount tire and they checked it for free and took less than 5 minutes.
Honesty. I took a car that I purposely rigged. I needed a new mechanic as I thought the old one was ripping me off. I started with my old mechanic leaving a tie rod loose. They never said anything and even gave my car back to life claiming they had fixed it when they didnt. I took it here next and they told me they could not do the alignment because of the use. Very cool they care about cars and your safety. Highly recommended
Went online to see compatible tires for my Rav4, found the tire put it in my cart was getting ready to check out and make the appointment, but called closest one to me and they didnt even have the tire listed on their computers. How am I supposed to to shop and make an appointment if what I have in cart isnt even in the shops computer ? Very disappointed
Went to NTB to get tires rotated that I purchased there. After they finished I drove off and I heard loud banging and rattling. Turns out they didnt tighten my tires at the correct torque. Tire lug nuts were lose. On another occasion I had my oil changed there. When I got home oil was dripping in my driveway. Took it back. They told me my truck had a leak before I brought it in which was not true. Any way turns out whoever changed my oil there spilled old oil on my engine parts. This is why it was dripping and messing up my driveway. I dont understand how they can do such terrible careless work when it takes so damn long to finish the service?
The manager Jimmy Mendez is the best. We have been coming to him for about 3 or 4 years. A few years back I went to 3 other Tire stores and every single one tried to over sell us on things we didnt need. In the end we got 4 Nitto tires and 4 Goodyear ones which suited our travel needs. Ever since we dont shop for our vehicle needs anywhere else. I highly recommend him and NTB.
Took my wifes car in because all 4 tires had bubbles and out of those tires 1 looked like it had problems on the side wall. The first guy we dealt with was nice but couldnt help us so had to wait till the next day to talk to the general manager. Immediately he was pretty dismissive and wouldnt help us to our satisfaction. We were given an invoice to sell us new tires with a prorated discount that still comes out to the price a 4 brand new tires. Went to another tire shop to get my tires all replaced and find out I was given the wrong size tires for my car when they first installed that even NTBs site says arent for my car. I head back to NTB to bring this issue to the general manager and he says he wasnt working at that location at that time so couldnt say why they were out on the car. Then tells me industry standards you can go up or down 1 size. The NTB website stated those are the wrong size and shouldnt be put on my car. No budge or solution to fix the companies mistake so purchased new tires at Discount Tire so my wife can safely drive her car.
I took my truck in to get an alignment. I called before to verify they could do it, explained the vehicle and was told yes. I show up and immediately get rude service and a denial. Claiming he would not do my truck because it was too hard to align. I explained to him that I called earlier and spoke with someone (gave him his name) and that he told me he could do it. He then tells me that guy doesnt know what hes talking about. He then explains to me that he has been in the alignment business for 30 years and he knows what he is talking about. If he has been in the alignment business for 30 years, but cant do an alignment on a common model truck, what is he doing working there? And if he is degrading other employees knowledge, saying they dont know what they are talking about, why are they are working there?
I am very disgruntled, when I looked up the location the hours of operation on a Sunday said they close at 6pm.I arrived at 5:05pm this Sunday....aka superbowl Sunday and they turned me away.I used to always come here and will now need to look for a better place to shop around for tires because it seemed like they where water to leave due to the Superbowl.I even asked where is the manager and the representative stated that he already left.Which was odd, because a manager that leaves right at 5pm and doesnt ensure 100% customer satisfaction gave me a sense of careless leadership.
I went for a simple oil change. I scheduled my appointment online, my appointment was not in the system, luckily there was no one ahead of me so they started quickly. They do various check points and tests. One of which is a battery test, they told me my battery was dying and you could tell because its making a noise when the car starts, not true at all, my car makes a clicking noise when it starts due to an a/c problem. Reason I know is because Ive had this looked at and fixed once before. This clicking noise happens when I turn the A/C all the way either direction, has nothing to do with the battery plus I just got my battery replaced within the past year. Another thing I was told is my brake fluid was bad and I could come back and get it done for about $89. Well I just got my brakes replaced about 3 months ago so I do not believe that was true either. I really believe I was fed this false information because I was alone and I look very young, Im not Im nearly 30! So ladies please be careful and dont be so quick to believe these people, definitely get a second and third opinion before you buy anything these people try to sell you on.
Took a trip to Six Flags Fiesta Texas when we hit two pot holes. 3 tires blew out and towing truck took us to Big O’s. Very friendly staff, really helpful and accommodating. Towing truck dropped off the car around 4:20pm and we took a Lyft there and arrived at 4:30pm. Shop closed at 5pm but they really took care of us and stayed a bit after closing to try and get us back on the road since we didn’t live in San Antonio. Super helpful, great experience!
Crooked. Went in for an oil change. They checked my brake pads and said I had 10% left in the front tires and 20% left on the rear tires. I said show me. He came back and said I had 25% in the front tires and 50% in the rear tires. Needless to say they lost my confidence. So I went to Sears automotive they said I had 35% left in th front tires and 75% left in the rear tires. NTB wasted my time and fuel getting a more reliable opinion. Luckily Sears didnt charge me for the inspection. I would say next time tell me the truth NTB, but there wont be a next time. Adios NTB.
I had 2 tires replaced at this NTB location. I waited for 3 hours. I specifically asked them not to roll down my window as it is broken and will not roll up. They did not listen, rolled it down, and asked me how to fix it. I had to watch them try to yank it up for over an hour, and they finally just sent me on my way with my window halfway down on a cold and rainy day. They did not even apologize. I was definitely not impressed. They also haggled me and tried to sell me all kinds of warranties and upgrades I didnt need.
Went in for another oil change and as always, my experience was excellent. Jimmy, the manager was very welcoming and his staff were very professional, friendly and happy to get the work done. I always recommend this location to friends and family and it is mainly because of how well this NTB is managed. Keep it going Jimmy!
I bought a set of tires here because they were the only ones open on a Sunday, got the warranty that covers nails and stuff. I have had a couple nails and they have have repaired them but every time it is the same thing they never have enough staff. Oh we can get to you in about 4-5 hours. Ended up going down the road to Discount and they fixed the tire for free in less than an hour even though I did not buy the tires there. I have to say last time I will buy tires at NTB
These guys are crooks! I took my truck to this place for an alignment and I was told I needed to have repairs done prior to the alignment (pivot and idle arm and tierods). This was going to be a $1050 repair. Took the truck to my mechanic and no such problem. Since I have a 5 yr warranty from NTBs sister location on the east coast I went to a different NTB and they did my alignment no problem. Dont trust the NTB Team off the 1604 and Culebra.
Did you know NTB was a full-service auto mechanic? Neither did we! But after a major cooling system leak was found in my wifes car, NTB repaired and replaced the necessary parts. It was a big job, but they completed everything on schedule. And since theyre open weekends, we didnt miss any work. Price was fair and I will return again.
This is the second time I have been treated so badly at the NTB near Alamo Ranch. And this time it was the actual manager who treated me badly. His name is Martin Jimenez. I used to bring my truck here for my oil changes but I stopped coming a couple of years ago when I was treated badly. So I decided to give it a try again today, and the manager had a major attitude problem for no reason other than he was overwhelmed and said they were hours behind schedule, I will never, never come here again.
I arrived there at 1030am needing two new tires, my oil pressure gauge and gas level gauge fixed, and front alignment. The front salesman said the fuel gauge is probably my pump but hell have the tech check. Comes back 15 mins later and said yes, its the fuel pump and bad news theyd have to order it, so if I stayed everything wouldnt be done until 5pm-ish. Ok, fine since I was in town for the day (I live 2 hours away) I would just hang out. They replaced the fuel pump THREE times! Then after 7pm, tell me it must not be the pump thats broken. They did give me a refund for the pump (after I demanded it) and the tech claimed the salesman had told him I said the pump was broken and only wanted that replaced (by this time the salesman had gone home)... I wouldnt know one part from another, why would I try to tell the guys supposedly skilled in this stuff what needed to be fixed?? I spent literally 9 hours at that shop to be jerked around because somebody wanted to make a big sale. I will never go to this NTB or any other because of this.
Way better than discount tire. I hate how every time I go to discount they say they can’t fix my tires and try to sell me new ones😡all just part of their deceptive practices. When discount says they can’t fix my tires I take them to NTB and they have no problems fixing them. NTB even disposed of four old tires I had and didn’t even charge me for it.
They’re cheating totally to customers. Really bad services. They’re just doing business they don’t have any sense or care of the customers. They just only have care of money. I fixed my car from them they took 560$ and then next day i had to again to fixed my car and told me to pay 800$ more. This really ridicules. I went to another service center and they fixed my car in only150$. Don’t go people in this service center really.
A bunch of amateurs they broke my fan shroud my vehicle overhead the overflow hose was missing they didnt do anything about what happened they talked to me like if I didnt know anything I use to work for NTB for 8 years and at this location I took my vehicle in smh will get work done with them no more.
Bad service, I got there with a Groupon and they wanted to charge more than what I payed for the Groupon, they told me they wouldn’t be able to do the free rotation that it was included with the Groupon because my car need new tires.... SERIOUSLY. The person who was “helping me” was the manager Martin.....
My wife scheduled her appt to get her oil changed at NTB and astonishingly she had great service so we recommended her mother to go there. She asked for an oil change and 2 new tires. The salesman promptly recommended that she change her transmission fluid, flush her radiator fluid, both in cabin and under hood air filters and a ton of other stuff. She only needed an oil change and tires. Thinking the people were actually looking out for her she agreed to the services. One thing to keep in mind is, her Honda CRV only had 30k miles on it. When it was all said and done she ended up paying over $900 for the services.I have recommended her to take her CRV to Gunn Honda where she purchased it and have them make sure the services NTB said they did were done. If not we just might seek legal action.NTB takes advantage of women and people that dont know any better and I would never recommend using NTB for any service after seeing what they did to my mother-in-law. My wife will not be going back for future service there either.I am the type of person that if you burn me or my family one time you lost my business. Taking advantage of a female senior citizen is wrong.I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN AND WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW THE TYPE OF DISHONEST BUSINESS THIS IS.
I usually go here. Ive always been happy with their work and with the current management, I trust their honesty. I have mechanical experience and often caught other mechanics giving me the run around or making stuff up. So far, these guys are reasonable and always made the right fix.
Big ups to the crew at BiG O. Ties. They took time out of there busy day (on Sunday. Yup open on SUNadAY). To check a tire that was fixed by brand X to give me a piece of mind that it was safe to drive. Thanks to this crew for there Perfecionallism and their kindness!
They take care of you and dont try and sell you extra repairs that arent necessary. I dont know why people complain about waiting youre not ordering fast food. The customer service was excellent the guy that wrote me up seemed to enjoy being there and had a great sense of humor.
My truck was misfiring. I took it in and was told that it was misfiring in several cylinders and throttle body was stuck closed. They fixed everything then got a call asking me if my truck has ever over heated. I told them no. I was then told that they keep getting an error code saying that my throttle body is over heating. Later said everything was fixed. Picked it up on a Friday and on Sunday my a/c mysteriously stops working. Im going back to firestone where things are done right.
I usually have good service at all but had coupon and wasnt ringing up correctly but was told that when they are done and ring up it would be corrected and provided me what the price would be but a different younger kid rang me up and I tried telling him that it was wrong, he seemed agitated and said it is correct and the manager wasnt available. Wow, care for customers????
The only real reviews on this place are the ones rated 1 star. Took car in due to the tire going flat from a nail and a bouncing problem. Upon inspecting what I knew needed to be replaced I find it wasnt done. Instead one part was replaced and they didnt even touch my tire it still has the nail in it. On top of that the lazy good for nothing mechanics stole a pack of cigarettes I had in my car. If you value your life, car, or money, by all means NEVER go to ntb.
Had a coupon for a $14.95 synthetic blend oil change great deal or so I thought, granted at the time I arrived there was no one there a far as other customers the guy who helped me was eating lunch with his girl friend at the time any ways went to walmart to go shopping while they finished oil change was there for about an hour when I called my girlfriend to pick me up when i called and asked how much longer it would take employee informed me that they hadnt even started two hours pass and then finally the call if been waiting for time to pick up car nope just called to see if I wanted to spend additional money on all these things my car needed some of which I just changed myself finally after 3 hours I called back to store to tell them not to do anything to my car and that I would be going over to pick it up, employee said its been done for over an hour when they called to see if I wanted to spend more money they forgot to mention that I could pick my car up, nightmare is over yet once i show up no one is to be found, was some one shows up about 10 min later and finally ring me up they go on and add about roughly another $20 service fee, disposable fee, and labor never again will I come here and never will I recommend this location for anything not even to stop and get directions

2022-05-25Love coming here for my car services! It took a little longer than expected for my oil change and tire rotation, but it was thorough and they have great communication, excellent service, and they blew everyone else out of the water with an synthetic oil change deal they had going on! They didnt have an electrical technician in at the time for my other needs, but the girl at the front told me of their locations I could reach out to and who to speak to. Would definitely recommend going here to service your vehicle!

2022-02-25I showed up with no notice in the afternoon with a nail in my tire. The shop was extremely busy with 5-6 cars waiting for service before me and I was advised that it might be a 2.5 hour wait. Waiting room seats are comfortable, staff is professional and pleasant, they got to my car an hour earlier than they originally estimated and I spent about 30% less than I expected. I dont come by often but Im always happy with the service.

2022-06-01They came out to get the tire from my trunk and replaced it in under half an hour. The price was great, the employees were very friendly and the facility waiting area was clean and felt very inviting. Ill definitely bring my tire needs here again.

2022-06-03Noticed the sign while traveling, we’re driving to find a tire store and then we saw your sign. The price was right and the salesman Paul was very understanding about the price. Presented a good deal for our vehicle, so we were sold. Thank goodness for the sign!

2022-05-11Said on invoice that they checked tires and rotated. My air light was low when I got in and low when I got out. Paperwork said all 4 tires had 36 psi. Upon leaving I went to a different tire place where they aired my tires. All 4 only had 29 psi. Also upon checking my tires they found 2 of my tires with no thread left(1). But reading the invoice it said they performed the rotation only if tires life is above a certain level. It is obvious the work was not done. Don’t go there.Awful place

2022-06-23They were extremely busy and since I was a walk in I waited about an hour but the clerk had told me that, everyone was very friendly. They asked if I wanted a tire rotation and I said yes...I do not believe they did that because my tire on rear driver side had 38 psi pressure the other tires were at 31 and 32 so when I left they remained the same indicating to me they were not touched.

2022-03-29Great service! First time there because we found an internet special for oil change for $49. They not only changed the oil but rotated tires and repaired a tire when they found a nail in it. Very pleased with the service. Will use them again.

2022-03-07I have used big O tires often over the last couple of years even buying a full set of tires ,happy every single time . this last time I went I did not get the thoroughness that I normally receive so I was a little dissatisfied, they rotated my tires and one of my tire pressures was low they did not check anything on the paper nor did they fill it up I do not know if they did anything during the oil change because there is nothing checked off on my paper. In the past the paper would been completely filled out and I would’ve known exactly what they did to my vehicle and what my vehicle needed sadly this was not the case this time.
