I have been a donor at Grifols now for a few years after loosing my son. I felt the need to give back in anyway I could, and now here I am , this being the 2nd site I have donated at, and I am so grateful to be here. I am so pleased with all of the staff, the new staff meshes so well with their training mentors, the compassion and caring shows in each and everyone, they are all dedicated to what they do and it shows, thank you all for caring .👵🏻
This place is a discriminative location but I think this is a company policy cuz Ive noticed when I visited gripples at the other location in Garland on Buckingham they didnt have cups big enough to fit my wife is heavy set now when I go to this location I had a problem I reviewed and management got back to me and there was no problems in the following day pulling off point low cant donate point off protein too low protein too low but my wifes eating steak shrimps I literally fed my wife all day all night and every time shes two points doesnt make any sense this location or the perfect model dont go to grifols cuz gripples dont care about you and if you dont believe me I can direct you to my wife hes been four times in a row I fed her consistently all day all night and its location yeah dont care so when you go to this location let them know if I feel any discrimination Im going to Fox 4 thats what Im doing
There machines arent collaborated every morning like they are supposed to be and when I request to talk to a manager they refuse and just give me a supervisor trying to say my iron level 5 to low when I know for a good fact cause I take iron pills to help keep it right
I didnt have any issues with the staff here. BUT the donors here are wild and out of control. Id STRONGLY recommend security or police officers here to enforce public civil behavior. The people here are INCREDIBLY loud and uncivilized. I was trying to hear what the staff was trying to explain to me and I couldnt hear a word he was saying because it literally sounds like your at the zoo here! I dare say they dont deserve to be allowed to be in public places.
I’ve called up there like 8x now. No one ever answers the phone. I’ve been in the plasma center waiting, and have witness them ignoring a ringing phone back to back. This is ridiculous. The way they are when it comes to something as small as answering a ringing....is just a small insight to the full biomat Dallas experience. If I could do a negative star rating I would!
Im interested in becoming a donor but after speaking with another center, Im concerned that my zipcode (75474) may not be within the centers recruitment area. Phoning in to find out, I press 1 as a potential donor and after listening to a lengthy recording, Im told to press 0 to speak to someone at the center. After pressing zero, Im told I do not recognize that as a valid entry and the long recorded message begins again. Ive done this 4X at this point (this also happens when calling the Garland location). Quite maddening, especially since I know their system recognizes my phones keypresses because pressing 1 works. Fortunately, the website has a lovely contact form which is apparently also ignored, since my query hasnt received a reply after 48 hours.
So if I drive thru traffic and get here at 6:55, before the 7pm time they have on the door. Somehow Im still late. You guys are inconsiderate, for the people who take time to donate and you reject them at the door, when its not the said time yet. Theres no point in donating if Im getting rejected at the door when yall close at 7.
It was my 6th time going for the months with no problems or issues. But someone I’ve never seen before decides to handle my situation. She looks at me and says to take off my mask for what ever reason. Not only did she puncher my vain causing me to hyperventilate, hot sweating lost of breathing and about to black out. After that give me a Powerade. It’s been 3weeks and my is this finally went away from my arm. My arm doesn’t feel the same yet.
This place is awful, very unprofessional, slow employees who only cater to new donors instead of the loyal ones who been there and they dont answer the phones when its something important bout money on the card or anything youd have to go back up there to handle the situation in person...I could go on but please if you reading this and thinking of going PLEASE, I REPEAT PLEASE DONT GO ANOTHER ONE YOU WILL BE WAITING FOR SEVERAL HRS WHEN ITS 3 PEOPLE DOIN THE STICKING.
The customer service skills in this place has gone down over the years . These people that work here have to understand that this is a business this is not a social club to be conducting themselves the way they do. My feelings is if the management staff doesnt stop these employees from conducting themselves this way then other employees that come in new see this behavior and take on to the same behavior of mistreating clients. I feel you treat the employees as a client in a professional manner than they should treat you in a professional manner but my problem was getting too personal with them and now I have to pull back because there is a lack of respect coming from their mouths.
My first time at this location two weeks ago and the staff didnt give me a warm and fuzzy welcoming. I dont expect for the red carpet to be rolled out for me but I do expect decent customer service. When I reached the back the lady performing my physical was really nice, the other lady that worked w/her ( an ex firefighter ) was nice as well. I can say the whole process was fast, couldve be faster if the ladies at the front desk were actually working. Ive been to different centers and this center has a unique system. I like it. Theyre clean and organized. Compensation is more than any other center I visited which is a plus. For the most part its an okay center.
I have been going here for about a year. When ever there has been anything in question or doubt the staff has always worked together to get everything resolved. If you have had to wait long more than likely you did not have everything ready or would have come last minute. I always go before closing time and get treated with kindliness and respect. The staff has over come alot of better improvements and are doing an awesome job there. Keep up the great work all of you.
The staff is great but management is lackluster at best. They have recently started to have doners wait before they log into the system to give the appearance that doners are here for less time. This is their solution to having long cycle times instead of admitting they need more employees on each shift to meet the 90 minute cycle time. Very disappointed! I was here for over 22 minutes before I was able to log in even though there so no one waiting to log in.
The majority of the staff is wonderful. However, Bernice (i believe that was her name) jabbed my arm with no care at all after i told her to be careful since i bruised easily. It was the worst experience ever and my arm immediately swelled up and i had to donate through my other arm. I have been donating for years and have never had such a harmful experience, that was about a month ago and now the nerves on the arm she stabbed are constantly experiencing random pains and cramps. Thank you Bernice, I am never going back, your carelessness officially scared me away. Please do not put those with no experience in the position to harm donors.
Grifols is by far the cheapest when it comes to donating fee and bonuses when they have them that is. The cant even keep there login website updated. Return donors get 30 bucks and maybe 50 if your lucky on 2nd donation. Meanwhile over @ CSL, theyre gettin$60 each donation plus survey points they can turn into cash and add on top of the 60 from donating. Would not recommend as a first choice. Choose CSL
Having no experience elsewhere the wait is atleast two hours on a good day. donated eight times now four out of eight both arms look like I was a crackhead. dont know her name but shes the loudest one there. I guess you have to ask every time not to see her. if not you cant (help) for two weeks or until bruises go away thanks to her neglect. Im not the only one shes messed with the last time I was there. She iodine a man without asking and he was allergic. Over her wanting a Starbucks coffee
The people were pleasant enough, but the operation runs SLOW. Arrive early for an appointment and youre still sitting there an hour and a half later. Also, they dont check your requirements when you first arrive. Wait, wait, and then they check and find something missing. Come again. Uh-huh.BTW, after this week they will no longer accept appointments. Walk in and take your chances.
I went for the first time last week and it took a bit. Of course because it was my first time and they had to do a physical. I must add that they also had the FDA and another European group observing my whole process (it was an evaluation of the facility), so it added to the wait time. However, they compensated by giving me an extra $10. Overall, everyone was friendly and informative. Most of the people donating were also friendly. I like the facility and Im definitely going back.
Been coming here for a few months and although the staff is usually great, the clientele can be rude. Having donated at a few different centers over the years, the compensation here is paid by on a tier system, which greatly benefits the return donor. Their SOP needs improvement, with time efficiency being the weakest link. But I always feel confident with the phlebotomist and other staff on the floor.
Has great staff members, they are polite kind and very professional. Been to 2 different donation places and this one is the best. Enjoy the bonuses they offer, it shows they do appreciate their donors for donating. I would most definitely recommend this place to others looking to donate
Overall a TRUE 5 star donation center in the Dallas area. I receive superior professionalism each time I donate. Very clean facility. Complete donations in two hours from entrance to exit door. Love the appointment setting for future donations. Again the management and staff operate are true professionals. Biomat works diligently to meet the public needs. Great place to donate and make extra cash.
Love this place! 2nd time going. The first time was a longer process seeing as I had to do the paperwork and physical but the actual donating process is quick and easy. The employees are professional and so kind. The atmosphere is very laid back. The few times I did go in, there was hardly anyone in there.
I gave been coming here for few months never had issues. The staff is awesome. The people who poke my veins are the best. Sometimes I have to wait but its okay this place does get busy. We all know people come in to donate and get paid so it happens. I would recommend this place to anybody. Thanks guys
I just left this donation center for the third time in the last week but have only been able to donate once. My first visit, I filled out paperwork, answered questions, and did a urinalysis and was here for over an hour. I was then told I couldn’t donate because my social security number was in their system under a different last name...from when I donated 5 years ago. I got married since then so my last name has changed. The person at the front desk told me I had to bring my marriage license for them to verify my identity, even though I had the required documents: license, social, and a paystub for proof of address. I was also told during this first visit that my paystub wouldn’t suffice as proof of address even though the Grifols website clearly states it can be used.On my second visit, I brought all my documents, went through the screening and physical, and was able to donate. I was here about 2.5-3 hours. This time, I got here at 5:00 and checked in on the kiosk. After 30 minutes of waiting, I began to notice people who had checked in after me being called back for screenings before me. I asked someone at the desk if there was something else I needed to do besides check in on the kiosk since this was only my second visit and she said no, we’re just looking for your chart. I sat back down and waited another 20 minutes before asking someone what was going on. My chart has been lost so I can’t donate, and if they can’t find it within 72 hours I’ll have to go through the ENTIRE new donor process, paperwork, and physical again. This location needs to get their facts straight and obviously needs some type of organization system put in place so things like this don’t happen. Management has been kind to me but the overall “sorry not sorry” attitude from others is unprofessional.
I used to love coming here and have since 2012. Well this year has been horrible its always something up there. And now Im deferred again for 6 months because my veins are bad? No they arent sorry that I have deep veins and your employees can get the needle just right. All because someone doesnt know how to stick I have to suffer. I have never had problems till this year I dunno this place seems like they are all over the place now. I had never had problems till lately and its always something different.
After the initation of being your 1st time Donor. It took awhile, but after was smooth sailing & fast. (Not sure if it was because of weather or Holidays. That they werent as busy. Its going on my 3rd visit. But, very friendly, well greeted, well protected, guided, & questions answered.
I have been donating here for a few years now and I will be amongst the first to tip my hat at a job well done...The staff is filled with beautiful faces and warm smiles...I must admit I get a warm feeling knowing that my plasma is being used to help improve someones quality of life...and the $ money $ comes in handy..I have seen a few faces come and go but they maintain a great team...
This is the most happy place. where U go every two week twice a week I know I am saving a life and also helping me I been coming 14 years and will continue to come I am 56 I gave to stop at 69 with God I will continue to donate as long as my health allow me Thank God that I can help His pro people mental and physical Thank you Jesus I love
Very friendly staff. Been coming here for quite a while.good place to come get a piece of mind while helping to save a life or two by donating plasma. Feel better about this location versus others I have experienced. Would recomend to other donors.and game days are awesome btw
Best plasma donation center imo. Ive been to most of the competition and Grifols is the cleanest, most professional and speediest of them all. The first time donation took a very long time but return visits are a breeze and the entire staff is extremely friendly. Pay is great since they dont go by weight and its standardized for everyone.
All of staff including the housekeeper who does outstanding work to keep it very clean...They all are my family .In that regard all have my respect and gratitude...Thank you all very much for all the years in relations to myself...Dennis has the best crew ever to work with..keep up the good work...God Bless
SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!!! This place is no good ppl...they change the payments fast as you can blink. An to make matters worse, now you gotta make appointments to donate?? Like people dont have enuff problems tryna fit getting up there with out one.i mean not every body that goes here is jobless an has all day to go to an appointment!? The staff is so busy talking an being ugly to everyone...that they cant even get your pay right or if your new donor or old?? They are truly lost. They dont have my trust or the 3other ppl I referred. ANGLE in management IS RUDE AN HE IS NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD OR POSITION!!Ill be going to Octaphrama!!!! You should too!!!
Ive donated plasma at other places and this place has the most kind and understanding staff. Theyve given me extra compensation when there has been a mistake and also vip passes when ive messed up my donation days. Shane especially kind. They always have bonuses and its just very well organized.
Im having a problem with your Return Donors incentive plan you start the month on the first of the month and yet by the eighth donation you dont receive the bonus this month as of January 2nd with my first donation and I completed 8 donations and still did not receive my end of the incentive, Im being told that I wont receive my end of the month incentive until my ninth donation if youre going to advertise something at least stick to it
The phlebotomists here are very cool and laid back. I give them a 5 star rating, because other donation centers wouldnt let me donate cause of facial tatts.....bs, but they look out at grifols. I like when they had the scratch offs too. They give chances to scratch up a few extra bucks.
Bear in mind that the reviews below are a couple of years old. No one can accuse the current security guard of being abusive, hes one of the nicest guys Ive met in these places. The staff are also courteous and polite. Sometimes the wait is longer than youd like, but Im afraid thats to be expected at any plasma center. My advice is not to donate on a day when you have plans, or at the very least, give yourself a 6 hour window if youre a walk-in. Of course it rarely takes that long. I suggest after your second donation you make appointments for all future visits. The payout for first time donors is $60/$40 the first week, and then $40/$20 every week afterward.
My daughter went in to donate blood and one of the staff members caused some damage to her bicep muscle from inserting the needle too many times and too deep also causing a blood clot and severe pain for weeks and she is still having problems. This was not a good experience because I had to miss time off work several times to take her to three different doctors to find out and get to the bottom of her problem. Horrible experience and I recommend to everybody. Never go to this place to donate blood. They promised to pay for her doctor bills and now wanting to give me the run around so I will get an attorney if necessary.
Positive : you should (see below) get paid more than most places, and its not based on weight, but rather it is a set amount.Negative : they will lie to you about the amount that they pay you. They say they paid you $50 but they actually paid you $25 and say you must have some fees with CITIBANK AND THAT IS WHERE YOU LOST THE OTHER $25, and then they say that they DID only pay You $25 Because its the first donation of the week (So they lie to you AND the number of times You donate throughout the month doesnt really matter). You will be there for AT LEAST 2 and half hours; I have NEVER gotten out any faster. There have been numerous arguments between staff and the clients (even in the waiting area/lobby)(mostly over the wait time). Im never going back to this location, and will also be notifying GRIFOLS about this situation.
The medical staff doesnt properly follow protocol or do the necessary medical updates on your medication. also the facility and equipment are outdated. Ive personally had to sit through power failures twice at this location and staff would refuse to take myself as well as several other donors off the equipment when we asked to stop the donation.
It was the worst experience of my life. It was my first time there and i arrived just before open and waited in line outside. Since they didnt have my information they needed to run tests. I hadnt eaten since 3:30am. Somehow they kept skipping my name and had to retest me several times because of some errors their equipment was having. I was there till close to closing time. The whole day i was there and they wouldnt let me leave to go eat. They said Id lose my place in line and will have to throw my tests out cause they assumed Id do drugs. They wouldnt even go with me to my car to fetch my protein bar. During the plasma retrieval process my arm went cold and dead. Afterwards i was waiting to receive my check and my body went extremely cold, i felt extremely nauseous, i felt so sick.i had trouble breathing. It felt worse than the flu. I felt like i was dying. They said its because i didnt eat and i told them it was their fault because they wouldnt let me go get food even though i kept explaining i was there since before 6am. I do not recommend this place.
This was my first time as a donor. Was scared because of other ppl stories but they say if u wanna know something find out urself and i did. My experience their was great. The staff was wonderful. I went in fear but came out in peace. Keep up the work Biomat ill see u soon.
DO NOT GO HERE! What a waste of time. I spent SIX HOURS before I was finally seen for my physical. By the time I was seen, it was already after closing time. Amazingly, I failed my physical! Imagine that! Ive passed it at other plasma donation centers. You think they were ready to go home? Absolutely awful experience. Six hours for no money! NEVER AGAIN.
Very unprofessional and I hated the way I waited for 5 hours in the intake process. It was like they forgot I was there for two hours. They didnt even give me paperwork to fill out. Also just read the comment that Dont come Here Is that how you answer your upset clients?Sad.
Do you ride the DART? Dont bother coming here then.Do you have a health condition thats currently being treated with medicine? Dont bother coming here.I sat and waited ALL DAY LONG just to have one of the ladies tell me the doctor needed to talk to me about the meds I have to take for my conditions. Instead of having the DECENCY to tell me that BEFORE going all the way out there, they wait until an hour before closing time, when Ive been there since 11 a.m.Sorry, but unless youre being paid $500 for your first plasma donation, its not worth your time bothering.

2022-06-25This is a very well run place, unlike CSL Plasma center. The employees here are courteous and professional. They are very well organized and efficient in getting people back to the plasma machines. They provide a cool comfortable place to sit while you wait your turn. I have been so impressed with the facility on Gus Thompson Rd. Although they take their job seriously they are friendly and seem eager to answer your questions. I have always enjoyed coming to this center.

2022-06-10I usually dont bother with reviews. But after my experience yesterday I felt like it needed to be said. Yesterday was my first and last time visiting this location. Someone mentioned in the reviews how this place doesnt have security and after my visit yesterday Im incredibly shocked that they dont! The donors were very loud and disruptive. All of them fully grown adults! It got so loud and rowdy inside that one of the staff members literally had to yell at the donors and tell them to be quiet because they were so loud that people could not hear their names being called! I could not believe what I was witnessing! On top of that one of the staff members walked away from behind the desk. One of the donors then made their way over to the desk, took the clipboard that the donors had written their names on, and literally took over and start calling the donors names over to the kiosk! And people were actually going up as he called them by name! I was shocked how this was all allowed and able to happen! The man called out one of the donors, a young man waiting to be called, and I heard the young man ask who are you and where is the person whos supposed to be calling our names? The man replied that the staff told him he could do it. I dont know if that was actually true or not but I didnt feel comfortable by it at all! And this should be completely unacceptable! On a positive note, the staff here were very friendly. I felt like there are too few of them though. If security is placed at this location to keep order then Id be more than happy to return. Its a complete and total shame that fully grown adults do not know how to behave, and need to be told how to!

2022-08-05A good opportunity to gain some extra monthly income. The staff is friendly and extremely competent for the most part. There have been some issues, but I choose to address these with the manager first, rather than just post them here.

2022-08-20I had hopes with this place being that its my first time here. The wait time was expected being the first time but not getting paid was not expected. Its a Saturday. They close at 4pm. I finished about 4:45 pm. Its after 6pm now and I still havent received my payment. They told me that sometimes it can take up to 20 minutes. I dont have a choice now but to wait until 7am Sunday when they open. Im highly disappointed and hungry with only a bowl of cereal to eat tonight. The staff was nice otherwise Id only give one star

2022-07-20Ive recently starting going the end of June. So far Ive had good experiences. The staff has been great thus far. The incentives, and passport game(compensation and prizes) theyve incorporated has made the experience even better.

2022-04-25They have 20 doctors and the wait time is HORRIBLE!! Why have so many people work if they are never calling people up.. theres just 1 doc doing the intake and screening while the rest be in the back chilling. It takes 1 hour for people to be called into screening. Worst blood donation place with out a doubt!! It should not take 2 hours to get called when theres only 3 people in front of you. Lobby stays full and they dont care. Theres no urgency or care for people, this place is bad

2022-07-18My experience with Grifols have been a pleasant. I know if I need monies or look for a way to give back, they have provided me the opportunity to do so. Im glad to be apart of the family. UP THE FEES TOO....
