BJs Restaurant & Brewhouse in other cities:
Service was horrible. Waited 10 minutes and while all the servers hung out at bar on their phones. Menus were never given after our 10 min wait only a water order was taken. Decided to hop on over to SLAB BBQ which was the best, first time going over and was not disappointed.**** I would have spoken to a manager as suggested below, but the manager ( man in nice buttoned shirt w/slacks ) was also joined over with the group talking and witnessed the entire situation and failed to speak to us even after we expressed we were going to just leave and go elsewhere.
Has gotten my order wrong 3 of the 3 times Ive ordered from this place (not just like pickles when I asked for no pickles, like literally tossing food into the container and missing parts of the meal entirely in the to go order). I called the last time and after making it clear it was on me for putting it into the website wrong and everything looked okay on their end (which, no) they gave a PARTIAL refund.... Then I got mild food poisoning. They also tried to double charge me the time before last for a mistake they made. I normally am happy to give food service workers a pass for a bad day but Ive given up with this BJs location, other ones seem fine but not this one. Never again.
I went by myself while working in town. The waitress was struggling to be friendly. She dropped my dish at the table, on the other side of the table, as she flew by. The dish was incorrect & the broccoli was still raw. I didnt want to complain as I understand the employee shortage we are all dealing with. When I explained about the wrong dish & under cooked broccoli she just said I will bring you your check. The salmon was fabulous. It was the positive in the whole dinner experience.
Stopped by here with the family (party of 10) for a late celebration dinner one evening recently. The tri-tip special is definitely where its at. However, steer clear of the baked potato. It was as medium rare as the meat. When our waiter brought out another potato that was supposedly cooked more, it really wasnt. Maybe they nuked it so that it was a little hotter but it too was still hard in the middle. Anyway, Ian did a good job of waiting on us and hopefully he was happy with our tip. The Pizookie is a great way to top off the meal and makes the meal a good value for about $15.
We moved from Houston recently and BJ’s was our “go to place” there as a family. With this expectation we went to this restaurant. My son’s steak was so tough and not edible. There was something wrong with the meat. We let our server know about the situation and waited for some time. Nothing.. We asked the server again and he said that he told our complaint to his manager and that is it. Nothing! We left the place frustrated. There are tons of alternatives in Whitestone and unfortunately BJ’s lost us in here.
The only reason I am giving 2 stars is bc the waitress was nice. Other than that, the food sucked. Its a chain restaurant and the food tasted like salt. My husbands prime rib wasnt even cooked, and my sons meal was missing the cheese from his burger. The queso was nacho cheese from a bag that you may get at a hotdog stand. Not my style.
Walked in was immediately told 25 minute wait and we will text you table ready, we decided to head to bar and wait, ordered a beer from very rude bartender, she was apparently hitting on guys at the bar, we asked about all the empty high top tables and were told they were walk up tables, waited another 20 minutes for food, waitress told us they were waiting on fries to cook. Talked to manager and he seemed non interested in all that was going on. Food arrived and fish was cold but fries were hot. I have ate at other BJ’s that rocked, this one sucks. Stay away
While I get that service is going to be slow due to the lack of workers, but when we got seated and told that our server would be with us and we ended up waiting almost 10 mins just to get our drink order. Then the server disappeared again and we had to flag down another server to find ours. When the food finally showed up, the fried fish was over salted and the baked ziti was nothing more than 3 layers of pasta, meat, and cheese heated in the oven to melt the cheese. Worse ziti ever.Needless to say, we wont be going back there for the food. Ugh!
This is what passes for quality to go food from BJ’s. We’ve tried several times to order curbside. First of all curbside is a joke, they take 30 minutes or more to even acknowledge you are there. I always end up going in to get the order. And when I do, the to go hostess rarely notices me for a few minutes at least. 90% of the time our food is cold despite being there before the pick up time and the “packaging your order” text. Things are often left off like dressings and sides. But this takes the cake. The cheese isn’t even melted to the few potato skins that happened to land on. Absolutely ridiculous. It literally looks like the food was tossed in the container. So disappointed.
Waited 20 minutes for a beer just for them to tell me that they didn’t have it which seems to be pretty consistent every time I come here, if I wanted to sit around at lunch with no beer and I would’ve went to Some drive through. Waste of money, and more importantly, a waste of my lunch hour, could’ve been nice, but I sat drinking a water for half of it like a little kid.
Went to the Cedar Park location this evening with another couple. We told the server that we wanted seperate checks right up front. My husband and I ordered two sodas as part of the order. Mine had a diet flavor to it. She said she would get another one. She forgot, I had to remind her. At the end of the meal she had asked if we wanted any dessert. This was at 5:30PM (we had to be somewhere at 6:30PM). I reluctantly oerdered a mini pazookie (Ive had them before and they dont take long) mentining to the server I had to be out of there by 6. The server kept brining drinks out from the bar for other people and didnt check on the dessert I ordered . Its now 6PM and I had to leave, I told the server I coouldnt have the dessert now and we needed the bill. She said she would see about taking the dessert off our bill from the manager. I told her that she would have to because where we were going didnt have anything I could keep it in. In other words, I couldnnt take it to go. About 5 min later she comes back with the dessert anyway and a to go ice cream, I told her I couldnt take it with me...she said the manager wouldnt take the item off the bill because they already made it. I told her to give it to someone else then because we had to leave. Then she tells me to just take a few bites of it. I paid for something I didnt even get.....after that asks us if we wanted to split the check with the other couple we came in with (we told her seperate checks in the very beginning). And the other couple we were with didnt get the points for their meal (they had a BJs card). This is the first time ever that I had been charged for something I couldnt even eat and I am sure was tossed in the trash....The mini pizookies have never taken 30 min to make. We never even seen the manager...they made the server come out to tell us they wouldnt remove it from the bill...Im not sure if we will be going back there...sad because at one time they really had it together over there.
Placed an order for delivery through the BJs website and received confirmation of order and delivery. Then received a message saying contact BJs because the order was modified or cancelled. Turns out the wrong Doordash driver picked up our order so we could either wait until after 10pm to get food or take a refund. Clearly some quality control needs to be put in place to prevent delivery drivers from randomly grabbing the wrong orders. Guess Ill see whats in the pantry now...
We love BJs! Our server was great. Very friendly and took great care of us. We ordered the sliders for our app, a large deep dish pizza for the entree, and two pizookies for dessert. The pizza was just ok. The edges were crisp but the bottom was pretty soggy, thus the three stars. For a $30 pizza we expected better. The pizookies however, are the reason we come. We got the limited Fruity Pebbles and the classic chocolate chunk. Both were great. The FP was actually one of the best desserts Ive had in a while. Even if we dont return for dinner, this will definitely be our dessert spot.
Ordered appetizer that was on the menu to be told it was discontinued. Changed our appetizer and it was never dropped at the table. The server never mentioned forgetting, it just never showed up. Entrees we’re brought out in which I ordered a burger modded with chili. He brought out my burger telling me the fries weren’t done yet but he didn’t want me to be the only one without food. (Maybe if you had actually put in our appetizer order…) the burger didn’t have chili as requested. Just a pretty sad experience. No communication and poor service. Sorry, but you gotta do better guys…
I was shocked how empty this place was for a weekend lunch. No wait time and fast service. Food was delicious and of course you cant go without having a pizookie. For those that are unaware this is their famous dessert. Highly recommend if you are okay with paying a higher cost. Really think it is worth it though
Not a fan of leaving reviews, much less bad ones. Decided to order uber eats from here as my girlfriend and i were both very tired. We put in our order and waited... and waited... almost 2 hours later we finally call as our stomachs eat away at themselves. And we had almost 5 dashers cancel picking it up and give it to a new dasher. After calling, the girl who told us that a driver had picked up the order, and several dashers had come to ask for the order. Instead of remaking the order an hour ago after clearly realizing something was wrong, or cancelling the order outright they did nothing. And when we called they said they could remake it because the kitchen closed in 20 minutes. The girl then rudely hung up on us without saying anything else. First experience here and it was horrible. Would like to give it another shot because the food sounded amazing, but the customer service was a real turn off. The mistake with the food being taken was out of their control but resolving the issue was fully within their control.
Keto friendly items! Hot, fresh and delicious! Service was on point even though they were busy (was a Saturday). They have a new menu offering zoodles! This was awesome for me because I am cutting carbs. I got the blackened chicken zoodles and it was delicious! You can now substitute any pasta with zoodles for a $2 up-charge. They were quite busy, but the staff was on top of it and everything came out fast, and hot. Was a little pricey, but was worth it for what you get.
You want the best lunch experience? Go to BJ’s and ask for Dante. You won’t regret it. Hands down the BEST waiter I think I’ve ever had and he had THE best personality. The food was great as always but this review is more for the server we had & how I left in such a good mood cause of Dante. What a guy, he was quick, attentive, kind & positive. I will be back to see him & enjoy a great lunch break from work!
The bacon-guacamole deluxe burger is amazing and the fries have the perfect texture and crunch! They also have some delicious drink options! We love to go here if we want to treat ourselves to a night out. Our last few visits, Ben was our waiter and he was super helpful and attentive. He even remembered us from our last visit!
Arrived and waited 15 minutes for a hostess. The party before us walked out because the were taking so long. Waited 20 minutes after ordering to even get drinks. Wasn’t that busy. Meanwhile our waiter was helping bus her other tables and running tickets. Then they brought our food out for 2 out of 3 people. Finally got the 3rd but took a while. Ordered the Cali club without garlic aioli. Got garlic aioli plus rubbery chicken. Normally I don’t write bad reviews but the food was bad and the service was ten times worse. So far, BJ’s has been consistently bad no matter which one you visit.
I honestly have to wait everytime Ive gone in but the wait is never too bad. The food has always been good and my drink I got was delicious. I also want to brag on the servers I have had. I always end up with the most amazing servers. They are funny and very great at what they do. I honestly laughed alot. They were also very nice and on top of their game.
Food was really good. Worst service weve had in quite a while. Ill spare all the details other than telling you that after taking over ten minutes to greet our table, the waitress apologized and said she had been in the restroom. It went downhill from there...forgetting things, etc.
This rating is not regarding the food as much as the wait time for takeout. I have eaten in house before and had a fine experience, but the two times I have ordered online I would arrive around the given eta and had to wait another 30-45 minutes past the given time. When I would finally walk inside and ask if my order was ready they are “still working on it and putting a rush in” and it’s another 15-20 minute wait. The total time from ordering online seems to be roughly 1.5 hours on a normal day for two entrees. Staff is kind and friendly though.
Stopped in for a quick appetizer and drink. It was close to closing so I didnt want to take up too much time. The bartender was extremely friendly and welcoming. She didnt make me feel like an inconvenience which can happen sometimes before the end of the night. Food was delicious and drinks were refreshing. I believe her name was Adriana? Could be mistaken but she was wonderful
Excellent service, excellent food, excellent brews. The interior atmosphere is on point. Everything my party and I ordered was superb: frozen margarita, Pina coladas, a couple different lagers, the bacon-guac burger, the penne dish, and a large BJs Choice deep dish pizza.BJs currently ranks as the best restaurant Ive happened upon during my time in Texas these past couple weeks. Highly recommended.
Dont waste your time or money unless you like cold food that isnt what you ordered. Its not everyday you get handed a stone cold baked potato, fries, hot sandwich, and dirty silverware in one sitting while your waitress blatantly ignores you for the better half of 30 minutes, only to finally come back and forget half the stuff you asked, including the dessert included with your meal. You can get a better meal thats actually hot at McDonalds. Do better.
Met up with my bible-study group for some socializing (we have been doing on-line for the last 6 months). Waitstaff were friendly and Id say half the staff were still wearing mask. We ordered our meals and they took abt 45 minutes to get!! Waiter explained they were short 20 staff (Thanks Biden ;). I had the Philly. Great combo of roast beef, cheese and onions. Fries were good as well. The winner for the night was the cream soda. Its made in-house and super delicious. So carbonated the straw kept floating out. Great experience overall.
Excellent! Its hard to find good food when youre on a restricted diet (gluten free-Celiac) but the burger as well as the bun was fantastic! And might I suggest to eat at the bar; Andrea will take good care of you, and she makes a delicious martini! Ill be back for sure😃
Host (lilith) said 20minute wait... ok! 30 minutes and 4 separate parties (seated immediately) later I asked about my table and was seated immediately. At a dirty table and when asked if I could switch booths got attitude and actual bouncing! We moved anyways! Food is fine service sucked more than the taco bell across the street 10/10 will go to t-bell before coming back to this location!
I went to cedar park bj’s and i was given table in 15 min which was the fastest. order was taken after 20 min and was served 25 min later. Kids were so hungry but they were waiting for all the ordered items to get ready to be served. I was waiting for 15 more minutes to get the cheque after finishing our dinner but did not get. I lost my patience and went to front desk and asked for cheque and then i was given. When i said everything was too slow and no proper service i did not get proper response for that too.. This was my unhappiest dinner i ever had.
Honestly was one of the best restaurant experiences Ive had in a very long time! Food was fast, it was delicious, and the server was awesome! Both of my kids ate all their chicken tenders (which is a first) and refused to leave until making sure our server will be their best friend for life! Next time my family is in the area we will definitely be coming back
To go orderFries placed upside down loose in bag,Order missing the side of soup entirely,Bbq sauce missing even though its listed on the ticket,No utensils in bag,No reason for mistakes- restaurant was slow at the time with multiple workers just standing around chatting.Service was friendly.the pieces of food that did happen to make it into the containers were good.
Server was outstanding. Double bone pork chop, quite literally the best Ive ever tasted. My biggest issue,. Mashed potatoes were coldish versus warm, and brussel sprouts were almost too cold and came out at end of meal. The server was so likable, we did not mention these issues that made an easy 5 star meal a 4. Warmed plates and warm veggies should be an easy fix.
We were in the area as we brought our 2yr old son to see the Jurassic Quest experience. We stopped here for lunch and had a horrible experience. As anyone with a young child knows, feeding and nap times can create more of a need to stay on schedule. We waited to be served for more than 30 minutes with no acknowledgement or check in with our table. We had to inquire about the status of our food and were met with an “I don’t know”. Many customers that were seated after us were served food well in advance of us. I will never come to this restaurant again! If I could give a less than one star review, I would.
We always enjoy dining at BJs, and this was no exception. The restaurant was clean, well staffed and the location was great. Our food was cooked to perfection, and tasted great. Our waiter, a thin African-American in his twenties, was obviously high or drunk, or both. He was still friendly, and smiled a lot, but kept forgetting other tables orders and had to ask everything at least twice. It was a Saturday night, so we didnt let it bother us, but he was definitely not sober. Our food order was correct, but he did give me the wrong tables bill. We are easy going folks, but the neighboring tables were complaining. Other than that, we had a great experience. Great food at a reasonable price.
Got food for pickup and the Caesar salad that I got was drenched in dressing. Got home and realized it and the lettuce itself was old and soggy. Called and talked to one of the managers Doug Browes Which was not very helpful. Simply said he would replace it or credit it if I wanted to come back to the store. I told him I didnt want to drive 20 minutes each way (40minutes total) to replace a salad. He acted as if he didnt care. I called back to get his name and also to see who the main manager was. I told him that I would be writing a review thinking he would care. He said that is fine and gave the perception that he doesnt care which made it worse. So after reading reviews I can see why he doesnt care. He is the one that reads and responds to the reviews.
We arrived and requested a table and the manager, who looked fairly overwhelmed despite the restaurant have 6 seated tables. Took our name and said it would be just a few minutes while they prepared the table. So we stepped outside. 2 additonall couples walked in and were seated immediately without reservations. 3 to 4 mins go by and we check on our table and the hostess who wasnt there when the manager took our request said we would have to wait 45mins. So we continued to wait outside. More people showed up and kept getting seated right away. Finally a group of 10 showed up walkin not reservation; we asked, got seated right away. Our group was 11 inckuding a small child.. I received my notification that our tables was ready and checked with the hostess who said we still had to wait and come back when we received a message.. I showed the same hostess from before the message and she sighed heavily and then said they will have to clear some tables because they just sat the group that walked in in front of us. Service was very poor. They seated us but split our party and claimed it was state law. Texas went 100% full open. It was the restaurants policy not the state. Once seated we waited 20 minutes to have our drink order taken and then waited 15 min to have them bring the drinks. Once we got the first round of tea and water no fancy drinks or mixed drinks, we didnt see the waiter again for 40min. The group that got seated next to us had 1 less person than our group had their meal and finished before were were able to order our meal. After ordering, it was another 45mins until we got our meals and some came 10mins before other so everyone was eating at different time and other had to wait until everyone was done before they got their meal. Our drinks remained empty after the 1st refill until part way through the staggered arrival of meals. Overall the food was luke warm and most of us were already done with sitting there so the experience was very unsatisfying overall.
This place has an awesome vibe, an excellent array of beers on tap and a really diverse menu. I have been many times and without fail the service has been prompt, polite and fast. The food has, mostly, been very very good and reasonably priced. My deduction of one star is really more for the cramped seating (during busy periods naturally) in the upper bar and booth areas. It can get pretty squeezy up there, but overall my friends and I always enjoy ourselves.
Lilith the hostess said it would be a 20 minute wait to seat a party of 3. Shortly after this she sat 4 different parties almost immediately. It was not until I came to the hostess stand and asked for our table that she said let’s get you seated, I replied yes let’s!!! Then she tries to sit us by the bathrooms. We asked for a booth and she then threw a weird hissy fit. I think she needs professional help! Will not be returning even though I like the beer!!!-
Ordered on door dash- and that was the best part of this. The door dasher was great. Food was cold (I don’t expect it to be hot considering the travel distance)but maybe send it in a thermal bag...? no amenities, the fries were not sealed. It’s as if BJ’s didn’t consider the fact that this was a TOGO order. I understand that TOGO is what we are having to do these days but try to make it as close to dining in as possible. This was the first and last time I will order from BJ’s.
Our last trip here was about 2 years ago when my MIL was served an undercooked pork chop. We decided to try it out again tonight (hoping maybe things have changed with time) and I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. Something tasted off and the texture was very rubbery—I opened up the second piece and it was pure pink inside! Here’s to hoping I don’t get food poisoning and definitely taking note to steer clear of this place for good.Note: Management was very kind and did comp the entree and give us a courtesy card to use at a future date. 2 stars for the good service.
BLAND.The potato skins had excellent texture; I love the idea of frying them. But without the ranch and sour cream, they have no flavour. Even *with* the ranch and sour cream, its like eating ranch and sour cream in a potato bowl that tastes of nothing. The sweet potato fries had the same issue; even their natural flavour didnt come through here. Was the frying oil some kind of magic flavour-killing solution? The burger was fine.
The food was delicious. I had the seared Ahi Tuna salad. Spicy and the Tuna was tender and not chewy. Several in my party had steaks and they were cooked properly and they wolfed them down. Server was attentive without interrupting all the time. Two minor complaints: we waited a bit longer for the food than we should have for how slow it was and they didnt bring all the food out at the same time. Otherwise very good.
Service was very good. Food wasnt bad for a chain. Prices were a bit steep for the fare. What was on tap was interesting. My sister in law raved about the POM Sangria with vodka. The avocado spring rolls were delicious but the accompanying sauce was super sweet. If youre staying at one of the nearby suites mention it because they give a 10% discount.
Went to this location for lunch. I like the variety on the menu which allowed me to eat healthy and my boyfriend had his classic pizza. Food was delicious. Service was good even though our server mention the system being down. The hostess asked if we were members of the rewards program or something like that. Which we are not. And she didnt say anything else about it. Maybe it wouldve been a good opportunity to offer or explain. But I guess now we can look it up. Overall I recommend.
The food is usually great, however they delivery orders have been wrong more than 50% of the time. The last 4 times in a row that I have ordered delivery, they have been wrong. This time they left off half the order, and when called, they only offer to refund the missing food, rather than to deliver the missing items. Also, I have tried to order pizza with anchovies a few times, and instead they have used a random topping like artichokes or sausage.I am very irritated by my experience with their delivery service
Hadnt been here in a while but was pleasantly surprised. A few friends got together after a day at the range so it was a guys night. The food was great. I dont drink beer but their ciders were great. The cost is higher but not unreasonable for the nice location and good food. Service was great. This place is relaxed enough for tshirt and jeans and nice enough for evening wear. I saw both that night.
After spending a couple of hours at the nursery it was time for lunch. We discovered one of our favorite places was not far away, BJs Restaurant & Brewery. We have never been disappointed here and the trend continues. Lunch was fantastic and the cold brew was refreshing. The service was great, our waitress and other staff were very kind, and professional. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend BJS RestaurantandBrewery.Until next time----- peace and love to all!!Tellmichelle2020
The waiter was great checking on us. This is considering the fact that the receptionist had us waiting for our table when there was no one in the restaurant. We asked for a table for 6. She made us wait. There were plenty of tables available but she made us wait. Then my left overs on a take home box was thrown away. This place was unbelievable. The receptionist (the older hostess) was not very welcoming to us.
On Thursdays they have an amazing deal for $13 you can get a try tip two sides and free dessert. I also can’t believe how amazing their happy hour is. Every time an NFL game is on they have happy hour. I tend to get five ribs for six dollars and a three dollar queso. It is an amazing deal and Wednesdays are three dollar desserts. Their menu is exceptionally big and the atmosphere still feels classy while being casual
We ordered food to pick up for dinner. I ordered the cherry chipotle salmon. It was supposed to come with a spinach-tomato couscous, but there was barely any couscous, just spinach and a massacred tomato. I posted a picture as well. The asparagus was also a little lack luster. Barely cooked, and the stringy ends were left on some. The salmon was good, and well cooked which was a nice bright note as that can be difficult. But it was very hard to get past the disappointment of very little couscous (which was the part of the meal that pushed me to pick this meal), and the inability to get asparagus right. A very disappointing dinner. I hate when decent restaurants cannot deliver when it comes to their “to-go” orders. We’re important too.
The Wait Staff were Very Friendly, and Courteous. The food was delivered in a timely manner. Although the food was Not to my particular taste: It is just because the Entree I ordered was a bit on the spicy side. The food was good, but just not my favorite due to the Spicy nature of it. Very Nice Atmosphere also.
Generally very good - there are 2 waitresses I am not particularly fond of - they basically treat you like cattle and expect a 20% tip. I will give kudos to Evan and the younger dark haired girl that typically wears a necklace - they are 100% on top of it I urge you to time how long you can have an empty glass... not very long.I enjoy the menu it is 20+ pages and so far they cook everything very good. Definity enjoy the food/drink specials & the rewards.I think the Sunday crew isnt so hot and sometimes I feel like Im judged based on my attire but thats typical everywhere I go.I am a regular here and will continue to be until the particular servers run me off with foul service. Otherwise I am easily a $300/week customer. Will update as necessary.P.S. the loaded burgers are phenomenal!
We got there about 8 pm on a Saturday night and the place was still packed. Sat at the bar. Service was decent, but wasnt overly impressed with the appetizer we ordered... $12.50 for loaded nachos that were far from loaded. Luckily the waitress saw my discontent and brought us a cup of queso. She proceeded to tell us if she ever orders them to get them loaded she has to order extra of everything. Not probably going to find out because I wont order them again...
It feels like there are too many things on the menu for any of them to be particularly good. We went there during lunch time on the weekend and of course the lunch menu was only available Monday through Friday. We all ordered sandwiches of one kind or another and no one really enjoyed it although the fries were given good marks. Eating there for keto was hard as most of the meat seem to be covered in some sort of sugary sauce or coating. I had the bison burger which at $13 was very small when you remove the bun.
It wasnt overly busy at 8 on Saturday night but service was lacking. I dont know if they were short servers but each part of our experience was lacking. We sat for about 5 minutes before we were acknowledged. Our drink order was taken and then our meal order. We were never asked or offered refills. Our food was dropped off and we never saw our server until our check arrived. We would have liked some refills, condiments, hot fries, someone to at least ask if we needed anything or if everything was ok.It was a special day treated line an ordinary one.
This place is so good! The only bad thing is they are a little pricey. THEY ALSO STILL DONT HAVE MY STUFFED MUSHROOM APPATIZER it makes me so sad. Its one of the main reasons why i go there so much! Their dessert pazzokies are phenomenal as well as the Parmesan crusted chicken!!
Will not return. Slow service, ordered unseasoned fries and was completely finished with my burger by a few minutes. Waited for the waitress to ask where the order of unseasoned fries were. When she brought them out she told me she wasnt listening when they were ordered. Cudos to her being honest. The lunch crowd was completely gone and service could have been much better. Was very disappointed. The Bs Brewery in Elk Grove, CA is absolutely fantastic. Was expecting the same dining experience here in Cedar Park, TX.
I was a little sad about the size of my steak I ordered and the sriracha Brussels Sprouts werent cooked to me liking. My mother had the honey mustard salad and she loved how big it was but had to ask for extra dressing. It was a Friday night and it was packed with a wait for over 45 minutes. The waitress made the experience worth coming back and trying a new item for dinner. We had different choices around but we tried the location in Round Rock and really liked it there.
It was very delicious today. I had a full rack of ribs my wife had the pork chop. The pork chop was perfectly cooked, perfect in size, and amazingly delicious. The ribs were also perfectly cooked but they didnt particularly stand out from any other ribs Ive ever eaten. We were seated immediately, parking was adequate and the menu was extremely varied.
One of my favorite restaurant chains!Their staff is very professional and they all have great unique personalities. The menu has something for the taste buds of all kinds. The wait is never overbearing and the waiter/waitress is always making sure you are taken care of.Yes! You do want one of their cookie desserts with ice cream on top! Even if you have to get it to go!
The server was great. I ordered the spaghetti, it was half the portion of all the other BJs Ive been to, it tasted just fine. I felt a little ripped off. Im not saying I wont go back, but I might look for a different BJs.ok, I returned, the server was very good and helpful. MalayalamTook very good care of me. Ive had the spaghetti at many BJs. Someone needs to taste the meatballs. This one is missing the body or, get someone else who likes meatballs to taste it. It shouldnt taste like hamburger.
They had a large menu with lots of options, when we got our food it tasted very bland. Its a great place if you have nothing to do for hours on end as service was slow. I had the house steak, which I expected to be more in size and flavor for what it was for the price I paid. The only food we did like was the appetizer of potato skins and I personally really liked the roasted cauliflower with tumeric. Not a place I would return to.
Strangely, my first impression of this place wasnt good -- it was crowded and I didnt like the meal I got. For some reason we decided to go back and it has now become a regular spot of ours, especially after Texas Stars games. I typically get the wings or the ham and cheese sandwich (which is to die for). Ive also had their quinoa bowl with mushrooms and tomatoes, and one of their deep dish pizzas. All of these have been great. And the pizzookies are the best thing ever -- ALL of them. No flavor is a bad one. Their waiters are really great and attentive, and we can use the app to put ourselves on the waiting list before we even arrive, and then pay once were done. I love that. Totally recommend, and recommend you download their app if youll be a frequent visitor.
After waiting 35 minutes for a table, food took a long time. Order was at inconsistent temperature and incomplete. Meat was not prime rib as was ordered and had been microwaved. They were out of au jus sauce and I was not told until after I received my meal. Quality was horrible. Will not return
This BJs was such a disappointment and a waste of $70. My husband and I enjoyed the game on the big screens, he enjoyed his beer aside from that everything else was subpar from food to service. Food was room temperature which we over looked, what we couldnt over look was how bland everything was. I got the New Orleans Jambalaya and was warned it was a bit spicy by the waiter, if only it was I may have actually enjoyed it. I mixed all the side spices in, and it was still horrible, for the price the portion size was small as well. Thankfully I ordered some sweet potato fries which were great, I only wish for $5.50 I got more, they were placed in one of those small black avocado dipping bowls and it didnt hold much. My husband got the Salmon Quinoa bowl which was also room temperature, salmon flavor was ok, and quinoa was bland. Our avocado egg rolls were nice and hot, flavor no so much. All in all I felt I would of been better off going by a fast food joint for better tasting food and customer service. To be fair may be the waiter was having a off day, as he didnt smile once. My husband thought he did a poor job, I thought well he did what he was there to do, take our order, no more, he didnt try to have exceptional service but he got our order right and refilled my drink. May be one day we can try it again, but for now I dont care to go back anytime soon as we left feeling a bit ripped off by the price we paid for such poor quality.
We have tried and tried again. Last night was a disaster here. The food never tastes the same. Wifes burger came out raw after ordering medium. My shrimp plate was ice cold . Nachos had no chicken. Sons Burger was rare when it was suppose to be medium well. I sent a salad back 3xs that was brown. The beer and the waiter were the only two good things. Management was clearly unqualified to manage the restaurant.
Service was great but someone needs to pay more attention to what is coming out of the kitchen. Half the wings on our order werent even seasoned, steak ordered well done came out med well and coleslaw was just plain old dry cabbage no sauce or seasoning. Food was for lack of a better term pedestrian.
Love this restaurant. The menu is like a book and the staff is super great. They have great specials during NFL games in a big variety beer list. I would recommend downloading the app as they get busy and I checked in on the app walked in a room full of people and was the next one to be seated. They also have great desserts.
Ordered to-go for the last time. Food was 20 minutes past pick up tine, was a small order and not complicated. Food was not just late; fries were cold, burger was not made correctly, and kids meal incomplete. This is the third and last time I will order take out from here. First time I spoke with to go staff and restaurant management, second time I contacted management and corporate, the third time I will contact both again but am also leaving a negative review. Lots of potential, horrible staff.
Chain restaurant with average but generally consistent food. Cocktails are above average but a little pricey. Beer selection is excellent. Im in a wheelchair and BJs for the most part is compliant. They do however need to teach staff ADA law when seating customers. Restaurant was less than 20% occupied yet all ADA tables had people seated at them with no handicap. I was forced to sit at a center post table with a base that kept my chair from rolling underneath the table for a comfortable distance.
I was there at lunch on a Friday. It was my first visit. The menu was overwhelming -- I think it was 25 pages long! I was very happy with my choice of the lemon thyme chicken. The chicken was moist, and the whole dish had lots of flavor. Loved the brussels sprouts! My friends had the Asian Chopped Salad and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Piadina. They both said they really enjoyed their meals. Ill be back!
Me and my boyfriend came here for dinner and had the worst service. I ordered a bowl of soup and it was super salty to the point i couldnt eat it. He ordered a frozen margarita and it was $10 for a small glass. No alcohol in it whatsoever. We ordered dessert and paid, we went outside to smoke and said we would be right back to eat our dessert. I left my things at the table. When we get back new people have been seated at our table. We go to the manager and they said they dont know what happened. We had to flag our server down and she gave us back our change BUT it was short $5. Also our dessert was in a to-go bag so we were forced to leave. Worst service ever.
Bottom line... You wont be disappointed. This place has the typical things most restaurants have, steaks and such but so much more. A full bar is available, and they have a wide enough selection of their very own beers that Id challenge you to not find something to suit your tastes. I generally dont care for Brussels sprouts, but I will cow down on theirs. Ive been a handful of times so far and never been disappointed. I honestly think it would take me several months to get around to trying everything Id like to try from the menu. Be sure to save room for a Pizookie. These things are to die for... A cookie naked in its own mini pan topped with ice cream and drizzled with an appropriate topping. I like to get these to share with my dinner mate. A perfect end to an amazing dinner.
The environment was perfect for our family. Sports on all the screens. Great kids menu. The food was great and the fresh brewed root beer was fantastic. We all had something different at our table and each meal was fantastic. Full service bar and plenty of tap beers to chose from.
Im from the east coast and would compare this to Ruby Tuesdays. Its a good family restaurant and you can tell that they are trying to incorporate healthier things into their menu. I went with a group of 5 people and we shared appetizers and all ordered dinner plates. The appetizers were good to share with our group as we got the trio of dips. The service was ok, nothing spectacular. Overall, a decent experience, but there are plenty of other places in the Austin area with better food and more if an Austin vibe.
Meat came out purple the first time, then pink the second time, all for a medium well... Asparagus looked like just microwaved 30 seconds and no butter or salt... The chips were stale both times and the first round of Mountain Dew was almost water. Our waiter was amazing, just bad luck with kitchen! Will prob still come again as this is first bad BJs experience
This location is too busy and perhaps understaffed either in the kitchen behind the bar also with the waiting staff although the hostess did a great job I got in 5 minutes maybe one minute waited on a table sat down larger parties behind me wait a little bit longer after sitting down they made the perfect cocktail that I ordered custom made they brought out my appetizer that I ordered nearly short time after but they messed up my main entree twice nearly three times needless to say I had an appetizer with some sides but didnt get to eat a steak because they burnt the first one then they brought me totally different steak then I had originally ordered which was not good by any means flavor-wise I dont think I would be dining in at this place anytime soon or perhaps ever again. I would have thought that the rest of my meal and drinks would have been discounted or they would have done something to make up the difference but instead they still charge me the full price for the appetizer and I guess the drinks I had cant win them all.
We had an awful experience here. We order 2 appetizers and we got one with our drinks. Then we ordered our lunch, and it took forever to get our lunch. We ordered calmari as our 2nd appetizer and we never got it but they did charge us. Our lunch finally came after we talked to our waitress and she said something about the change of shift and she did not know what the staff was doing back there talking. Our pizza we ordered was suppose to be thin and crispy, but it was soggy. Then we got our bill and we told the waitress to take the calamari off because we did not get it and she said she did not know what happened to it. The manager came and apologized, took our entrees off the bill.Needless to say we wont be going back there.
Downgraded from 5 to 4 stars based on poor, slow service. Foods good. Prices reasonable. Call ahead for wait list is a plus. Rewards program for both points and pay from your phone when your server sucks is nice. Pro tip: if youre going to pay through the app and tip based on poor service, wait until you have everything you need as they see that you paid on their little hand held thing real time...
Wait staff is great, the food is not. 1st visit was a Turkey California Club and it was beyond dry. Today, ordered the Derby-Style Cobb Salad. The slow-roasted herb chicken was cold with no flavor and it looked to come out of a can. I was surprised how the blue cheese flavor disappeared, as if it was non existent. The only flavor was a slight hint of ranch in the avacado-ranch dressing and the bacon. I wont go back.
The was a very long wait for a table of 6 when there were plenty of tables open in the restaurant. To top it off a 5 top got called before us who came in 15 mins after us. Waiter was sweet but was seated a 15 top at the same time as us. Another waiter helped but was rude. The whole experience took 2 hours... little bit long for eating out with two younger children. It was our first experience there and I doubt we will go back.
No low calorie choices except chicken tortilla soup which had been thickened, and house salad with dressing on the side. The salad was great, but I wish I could have added meat as an option. Most dishes were 800 to 1000+ calories! My small salad and soup were 500+. Small steaks were not on the menu.
Lunch time ordered a steak medium. It took over an hour after ordering and the steak I got was more than well done. It was dry and over cooked. Was dining with three others and thier food was either missing sides we had to ask for or was over cooked as well. Service was really slow especially for lunch. If you need to have a timely lunch for work dont go here.
Horrible. Do not got. Waited 30 minutes in car for takeout. It was cold because it had been ready for an hour. Get home and we were missing two items. Called to complain, waited on hold another 30 minutes just to be told they were too busy and would need to call back. Was promised a refund on the missing items and never got it.Update. Instead of a refund they double charged for the meal.
Great service, fair prices, large selection of local and craft beer AND delicious food! What more could you ask for after working outside all day? The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is charged and ready for anything while smiling and appearing to really enjoy their jobs. Kudos to management for finding such wonderful employees!
We went yesterday for the first time. It was my birthday and they let you choose a free desert. Large area for tables with a bar along the far wall. The place seems much bigger because of all the large windows, large mirror and flatscreens. Drinks and food was served almost immediately since we basicly knew the menu before arriving. The food I ordered was great. What brought me to this place was late hours on a Monday and bbq ribs. Our waitress was great. Most of all I was afraid this place was going to be more of a bar setting.
The food was delicious but there seems to be some sketchy things going on in there. My party of 3 ordered 3 of the jumbo spaghetti and 2 tortilla soup and 1 broccoli and cheese soup which on the menu say theyre $1.50 and our waitress charged us $4.50 each. We asked her why the soup was so expensive and she said we told her to give us the small instead of the bowl. And tried to say thats what we ordered. A small and a bowl are actually the same size dish. 🤔
Not the best BJs Ive visited. The waitress was a little clueless told me they only served Pepsi products. Well I dont care for Pepsi products, but Dr. Pepper is not a Pepsi product, and Ill drink that. So I ordered an unsweet tea. The tea arrives but theres no sugar caddy included. Had to wait and had to wave the waitress down and ask for some Sweet and Low. The kids seem to have enjoyed there food as for me and the wife, my Parmesan Chicken was one of the worst Ive ever tried. Chicken was bland, dry and just had a taste that was just off. My wife on the other hand revisited her Clam Chowder Bowl later that night puking. Thanks for nothing, just flushed $75 down the toilet, literally and figuratively...
I love BJs! The atmosphere is fantastic and the employees are always on top of the service. Tonight I came to watch the Thunder play the Rockets and I was told they would make sure it was on for me. Conner is a waiter/bartender and he is a hoot! I eat stuffed mushrooms every single time I come! Yum.
The food was amazing. We tried the Honey Sriracha Brussels sprouts, calamari, jambalaya, ribs. All the dishes were cooked to perfection and tasted great. The Brussels sprouts are a must try. The drinks refreshers were delicious too. Our server, Savannah, was fantastic. Extremely attentive. She made our experience extra special. With three small kids that no mean feat. Thank you Savannah. We will definitely be back.
The most AWFUL experience I have possibly ever had. From the moment we walked through the door the hostess was rude, our waiter was nice, but the food was SO SLOW and burned when it finally got there 2 hours from the time we arrived. The whole table only got 2 refills the entire time. A simple meal family meal took 3 hours. I will not go back and I will never recommend people go here. Terrible terrible terrible is the best way to describe. One girl even rolled her eyes at one of the people we had with us. This place needs some serious work, the staff is awful and the time it took was ridiculous especially for how much they are charging.
Last Week an item was left out of our to go order, but when I called the BJs to notify them they were all over it and didnt make us feel awkward. They were quick to rectify the situation...Thank you Ember...somehow the credit went to spam and when I went in for lunch and inquire about it, once again I was treated in high regards. The manager researched and made good of everything...Great over all experience...lastly the food was wonderful...Thank you Doug!
Went to the bar and the bartender...I believe her name was Lauren,...paid zero attention to us and seemed very annoyed about being employed here, we left because 15 min had passed by and no service. Great bar setup and I live walking distance so I hope they can get a staff that cares
Its a hit and miss with service and food preparation. Sometimes the service is quick and efficient, but usually not. Frequently the food is over cooked, or sits in the kitchen window too long and its still served. The cleanliness has gotten better since the meal that was dried rolled, and served back to us on our silverware last year, but now there is a major leak in the womens restroom causing water to be all over the floor. For a corporate chain restaurant I expect a bit more than sub par everything. If I find the pics of the disgusting silverware served to us previously I will post it. (We didnt eat at this location for over a year after that)
Very upset tonight. i placed an order online for CARSIDE pickup and waited in my spot. called in and a girl answered who said she would check in my order 25 mins go by nothing. people beside me not getting their order either. i call back in and get sent to voicemail twice. i drove off. i had to drive next door and get drive thru for dinner. i am going to try to get ahold of the manager to rectify my situation but if i dont im reaching out to corporate. this place is zero stars for now will never spend another dime at this establishment and dont recommend anyone else do either. i have plenty of reviews too over 300... and tell it like it is. trust me with this one people!
Wait time there always kills the experience for me and the attitude of servers does not help. Food is priced on the higher side but portion sizes are fairly limited compared to other places with similar prices. The tables are too close too. The bar selection is fairly decent. All in all ok place but not my first option if I have a choice
I love Bjs, the service is always pretty great and Im never disappointed by the food. The menu is a bit overwhelming (not sure how the servers remember everything tbh).Ive actually never had their pizza (shocking, I know) but I love their mozzarella salad, wings, fish tacos & the pizookis are the best.

2021-11-08Host was very helpful. Server was good. Ordered bacon cheeseburger with Gluten free bun and salad in place of fries. Also had turmeric cauliflower that was good. Only complaint I had was the gluten free bun was very hard in spots so must have been old. Otherwise still enjoy going to their restaurants. I told the waiter about the bun so that hopefully the chef can check the bread before sending it out.

2022-06-26Service was awesome and friendly. We ordered the Cauliflower pita tacos w/ honey siracha Brussel sprouts which literally I would DIE for!!! The plate was an excellent vegetarian alternative. Also, ordered the Comfort crispy chicken sandwich which was delicious! Crispy chicken, bacon, ham, and Alfredo sauce?! Mind-blowing chicken cordon Bleu twist. The fries were cooked to perfection and the slaw was chunky and very unforgettable (two bites only and yuck).

2022-04-02Well this experience just topped the other ones. Mojitos should be mixed but these are just poured in the glass and then served. The manager acted like thats how they should be. Pizza was dry and partially uncooked. He asked if we had told the waitress, I would of yet she dropped the food off and ran away so fast I couldnt get a single word out. She managed to go to 4 other tables after but never stopped by again.

2022-06-28Ive been to BJs in a few different cities. I had DoorDash deliver from this location. We ordered BJs Favorite Pizza, which was supposed to be deep dish. I guess they dont deliver deep dish because it was basically just pan crust pizza. Giving 4* based on past experience with the chain, but I do wish Id known it wasnt gonna be deep dish. That was sorta the point. ;)6.28.22 edit - 4* down to 2*: Finally made it to BJs in person. Definitely not the experience Ive had at BJs elsewhere. So, Im not sure if the BJs chain has slipped or if its just this location. Med burger was cooked well burnt, pizza was bland and flavorless, but the artichoke dip compensated as it was very salty. If you must, stick to the beer and deep dish pizza.

2021-12-28Food was good, service was also good. If youre looking for a late dinner and dont want to get fast food, you can find a good meal here.

2022-04-09We we seated pretty quickly for a Friday night. Our server was nice but didnt check on us. We had to flag him down for help. I ordered a pork chop and mashed potatoes but my potatoes were cold. My two daughters food was ordered before my husband and I but some how it came out after ours. None of the plates were cleared after we were finishing up. We asked for boxes and the waiter returned with our ticket but we had to ask if it was OK to order dessert. Not what I expected. Wont be back for awhile.

2022-07-23My family and I just ate tonight, not only was it not very crowded for a Friday and we were sat immediately. Our server, Kyla was amazing! She was very informative about the menu, kind and attentive. Our food came out so quickly & it was amazing!

2022-06-14Good service at the to-go and relatively quick but honesty I feel kind of ripped only regarding the toppings. Doesn’t look like the picture and just tastes mostly like bread and sauce, needs more toppings

2022-07-13Hate to say it! Loved this place for years! Last 3-4 times not impressed. Bartender always has a bad attitude. Can tell that from wherever we sit. Out of food items and orders wrong. Much less people! Must be the management. Something has changed! This is regrettably our last visit. There is always the Grove and great Mexican restaurants nearby...

2022-06-12Bjs has a great deal on prime rib on Sundays. You get a lot of food for a great price and the flavor of the prime rib is great! Good service and all the food was delicious! We did have to close the ticket using a QR code because the server never came back around. Not a huge fan of these at restaurants but it does have its benefits.
