Every week my 14 year old and myself make our way to the dealership to keep his interest going. Although there is still 2 years before my son is old enough, the staff treats us like returning/paying customers. This team of Harley associates rock! This dealership is friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks a million for treating my son to a future experience we all love. He has had a tough year and you all make it better. God Bless You All for caring that much.
I live very close to another DFW HD dealership and have gone there for convenience, but never left the place with a good feeling. After being at Black Gold HD, Ill never go back to the other one. Was treated great from the moment we walked in. Everyone we talked to was helpful and professional and even took the time to talk to my 3 boys. Its a farther ride but I have found my new HD home!
Black Gold Harley Davidson formally known as Harley-Davidson Of Dallas, some of the best staff I’ve encountered, Shane a service advisor is the best I’ve seen, takes care of my motorcycle as if it was his own, never has too question anything that he suggest, motorcycle technicians are well trained and courteous, sales department is top notch I’ve enjoyed both purchases of each of my motorcycles both were extremely easy to deal with along with sales in extended warranty, if you have the opportunity, go see them!
Shane and the service crew were excellent from picking up my bike, thanks Trevor, to keeping me fully updated throughout the repair process. Shane provided daily emails and text. The service was supposed to start on a Tuesady, but Shanes crew threw the bike up on the lift Saturday evening to start the process. Picked it up only a few days later. I knew what was being done and why it was being done. Shane provided pictures of any and all areas needing attention. Great service, great team!
Just bought my first touring bike and Brandon Foos made it effortless. Ive bought dozens of bikes and many more cars and this was by far the most painless and pleasurable process. Darryl and Rusty truly went out of their way even after hours to help make me as comfortable as possible with my purchase. As a gear head Ill be buying all of my bikes in my collection from these three. Cant say enough how glad I am they opened in Allen.Brandon kept up with me for almost a year sending me photos and prices on bikes that he knew Id like. He even brought two bikes I was considering in for me so I could make the most educated decision.I already know the next 3 bikes Ill be adding to my collection and Brandon, Rusty, and Darryl have a customer for life.Thanks fellas.
I bought my Harley sportster a few days ago. Rudy and the whole team at black and gold made the process smooth. From picking out my helmet to finding the best payment plan for my bike. Also the finance manager, Chris, did everything he could to have my paperwork ready for signatures when I walked in the door. Thanks guys!
Great experience, Lisa was absolutely the best at what she does. Very knowledgeable, patience and no pressure from the time I walked in the first time to leaving on my Fatboy. I met with Dax/ who was extremely helpful in my purchase of a new bike. I had no idea what I really wanted… he assisted in my selection once he discovered my preference and intentions. He delivered in every step of the purchase experience. I’m very excited about my new bike AND the shop and I recommend it to anyone.
About a month ago I gave this dealer a very bad review, I went in there to trade my Fat Bob in for a Fat Boy and things did not go well. Weeks later after we straiten things out I met with Lisa (excellent sales person). During the process she also discovered that I also liked the Heritage. So she made me take both bikes out for a ride back to back, she said she wanted to make sure I buy the right bike. After taking the two bikes out, I decided that I like the Heritage better and since it already comes with the windshield and saddle bags that I was planning on buying for the Fat Boy, it was a no brainer. Heres the great part of this dealership, after they saw how happy I was with my Heritage purchase, no one ever called me to ask me if I would delete my old post, that is true character. Even though they never asked me, I went ahead and deleted it anyway.

The new Dealership is very nice, and more spacious than the old location. Nice, friendly, helpful staff. They usually have a good inventory of bikes. If your in the market for a used bike, do your homework on the particular model, and year of the bike your interested in. And, the current values of said H-D bike. Like all H-D dealers, Black Gold is asking premium prices for their bikes.
I cant say enough good things about Black Gold Harley-Davidson. Ive visited the parts and service departments many times over the last year, and my recent trade/purchase for a 2021 Street Glide was a very positive experience. The entire staff is excellent, and my dealings with Keith Robinson in finance were like dealing with an old friend, rather than an adversary. A great job by all!
***BUYER BEWARE***As a 20 year veteran to the automotive industry I will warn you that these guys are as shady as they come.I did my research before coming to this dealership, from credit scores, financing options and warranties.I explained this to not only the salesperson, but to the finance officer and sales manager. I also made them aware of multiple financial offers that were on the table that they could use. They made the decision to offer 19.99% APR from Harley financial (Eaglemark Savings Bank) how have always exploited customers instead of submitting it to other companies offering 5.7% - 8.9%.Hold onto your money and shop elsewhere.
I have been a customer here since I bought my first motorcycle. And my experience overall has been always extremely good in all of their departments but especially in Service.Shane is the best,he had helped me and my husband several times in the past with the best attitude and a big smile.Has treated us like a good friend always happy to see us there. Black Gold Harley-Davidson is my go to for all things Harley. Megan and her motor-cloths ladies are always very helpful in finding what you need. Megan seems to always think of clothing my wife or I would like when ordering for the shop. I go in and as soon as she sees me she is quick to pull me over and tell me she has gotten stuff in that Tory will love. “Come look!!” I always end up spending two to three hundred dollars when this happens. I can’t even get upset. After all happy wife happy life. Brandon in service is top notch, always gets me in and out as quick as possible. To keep my down time to a minimum. The techs in the back have always gotten the bike fixed right the first time. I have never had to bring the bike back for work they did. Julz and Adrian in parts has always had my back on getting me parts as quick as possible whether it be for my bike or a buddy that’s in a pinch and I’m helping them out. In todays times that is not an easy feet. As for sales I can’t say enough about Heather she has always taken care of me when it comes time to get a bike. Black Gold is family!!
Got my first new bike here. Took my old one in to get serviced and saw another bike I liked and fell in love with it! Mike gave me retail for my trade in! And Brandin was an amazing sales guy. Very knowledgeable about bikes and felt more like a friend . He is a Veteran and if you are to ask for him, he knows how to get you approved and knows alot about veterans benefits just an amazing stand out guy Black and gold is lucky to have him and so is everyone who walks in and works with him. Annes 105th Anniversary Softail DeLuxe was needing new tires, as it was about time to leave for the CAJUN HOG RALLY, in Louisiana. I contacted Brandon, and he lined everything up for her. We dropped her bike off the week before we were going to leave, and in a couple of days, Brandon called back and said everything was complete. She picked it up that Saturday afternoon, and she was good to go the next week when we headed off for Cajun country! Thanks, Brandon
Thank you to Brandon in Service for getting my bike in for the 15K service. I was able to take care of my service with the Dealer Maintenance Program and get a new rear wheel with my ESP. Brakes and intake were replaced and a new tire with a new sensor. Thank you Derrek(sp) in the shop for taking care of me. Best crew in the metroplex hands down!
I had a spill last year in Oct. , found out that this dealership actually had a collision dept.Made arrangements to have my bike picked up by black gold.They had it over the end of fall and all winter but it was because parts are hard to find for my classic bike.Im sure Tippe ( shop manager ) gets his head chewed off repeatedly but I am patient.They did an amazing job !!! Doesnt even look like I laid her down !!!After the work was completed they delivered to me and better than new cause she sounda loud and meaner than before !!!I highly recommend Black Gold Harley Davidson for all your needs !!!Next bike for me will be from BLACK GOLD HARLEY-DAVIDSON !!!
Brandon, from the moment I called him to arrange and schedule a 131 and suspension upgrade on my 19 Road glide S, was well informed and up to date on what works and what does not. I knew what I wanted and he was great in offering his advise and expertise on this project. After about an hour phone conversation we agreed on a plan to move forward, He ordered all the parts needed and to my surprise they came in about a week. We set it up for Monday to drop off and the job was complete on Friday as promised. He went above and beyond keeping me informed and you can tell he loves his job. Well done to Brandon and his team.

I have financed a lot of things and the customer service here is top notch. Could not of asked for a better experience on buying getting my first motorcycleAsk for Dax in sales, Veronica in accessories, and Keith in finance.Dax took a lot of time to show me differences in motorcycles and explain features from one bike to the next. Despite me explaining to him I had no intentions on purchasing something immediately, he still took time to explain what would probably suit me best when I got the point of choosing a bike. He was never pushy and made the first day I showed up feel like a friend was explaining everything versus how someone simply trying to make a sale might carry themselves.Dax put me on about 10 bikes or so.I showed up to just sit on a Sportster or two. He had me sit on a few and go back and forth on some bikes so I could see why that wouldn’t be a good fit for me.I can’t stress enough that during this whole process he presented himself as though he was more interested on educating me and making sure I would be happy with a choice long term, rather than making a quick sale that day.Prior to leaving, he informed me a refundable deposit could be placed on a bike, financing was competitive if I had financing already available with someone else, and requested my number to stay in touch.Less than 24 hours later my girlfriend I were inside the store purchasing a 2020 street bob.Veronica in accessories helped tremendously by getting me a good helmet and gloves. The helmet I originally picked out was actually more expensive than what I walked out of the store with. She was more concerned about making sure I had a self helmet while saving my budget so i could upgrade later once i got a feel riding.Keith in finance made everything run smoothly to get the monthly payement I said i needed. He went over numbers and interest rates very thoroughly.Great customer service all around.
This place is a joke, I left my trike there for 3 weeks for an oil change and that was actually ok, however when I went to plug in my battery tender once home and couldn’t find the plug and took the seat off, I found that these guys didn’t even put the hardware back on the seat!! What kind of Harley shop leaves hardware off these beautiful bikes??? Beware everybody, they are a joke!!!! Don’t let this place touch your ride!!!
Jerry and Chris are the most helpful people on the planet. They were very patient with all my questions and indecisiveness. We probably spent 4 hours for me to find the bike I ultimately loved, and not once did they complain or even so much as hint that they were frustrated with me. The best part about this store is the fact that its not just Jerry and Chris who are awesome its the whole staff. Beyond satisfied with Black Gold Harley. Thanks guys!!!
Thanks to the Black-Gold H-D service team!! Had my 2002 Sportster 883 XLH serviced this week…Shane Huntemann, Service Advisor, is my go to guy. Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He immediately offered a way to troubleshoot the problem. It was a simple solution that got her started right away. Also needed new tires and a clutch cable — part was on back-order…. 🙄Shane hustled for that part. Let me tell you I’ve seen him in action on behalf of other customers. He got the part sooner than expected, bike runs better than ever, and I’m back on the road with confidence and a smile. Thanks to the service team for making it happenKeep it Real.

I tried the other shop in Dallas, will not go there again. Only reason I did is because theyre close to my home. I will always go to BGHD from now on. A little farther for me, but well worth it. Staff is always great, no pressures, and while there, 3 friends strolled in for service and shopping. Turned out to be a good day after a bad start. Thanks BGHD
Keith and Jeff made the process completely painless for the purchase of my new to me 2018 Ultra Classic. Ive ridden other bikes, but always wanted to be a Harley owner. They really do treat you like family... from the moment we stepped up to the dealership, you could tell. They werent trying to push me into something I didnt want, or give me the hard push to up sell me on something. Now that I have a new Harley... I have a new family and home as well!!!

The new place is nice looking and have plenty of merchandise. But… the service shop is not very professional or capable. Brought my bike in to get full service, tires, inspection, brakes and carb rebuild. 2 weeks later they tried to give it back to me, but it was running badly. They said they would figure it out. 4 more weeks they called me and said it was working better. Charged me some more money and it wasn’t running well still. Talked to them and asked what I should do to fix it. They said to get the carb sonic cleaned or replaced. I paid and took it home. It ran terrible the whole way. It wouldn’t idle, only ran well when accelerating. So, I am not a mechanic, but I think it sounds like a jet issue. I watched a 20 minute video and pulled the carb myself. The way it behaved it pointed at the low flow / Pilot jet. I pulled it out and it was completely clogged. Bought a new one online for $3.86 and put it back. Runs like a dream. I spent over $600 just on the carburetor at the shop and left it for 6 weeks and they couldn’t figure it out! Maybe their skills lie elsewhere, but don’t bring a carbureted bike here! Of course they treat you like it is a burden to have to deal with you, which I ignored as it is a Harley shop and as long as they get the job done, not a big deal, but that obviously didn’t happen.Update!Went in and sat down with Matt and worked out an agreeable solution. Was able to address the issue and make corrections in his shop to avoid this situation in the future. Thanks to Matt for hearing me out and making it right.
Everyone that I dealt with this place was extremely helpful and professional. They worked very hard to find a bike I wanted, which they did not have in stock, so they traded one of their bikes for the bike that I wanted from another dealership. I can’t say enough how great this experience was for me. If you’re in the market for a new or used bike, call them or go in, and ask for Triple. He is the salesman that put in all the groundwork for me. He even called me to ask how I’m liking my new bike, and to let me know that my trade-in bike had been sold. This whole dealership is absolutely remarkable from the moment you pull up to it. They have excellent parts and apparel departments, and while I have not used the service department there, I can only imagine that it too, is top notch.
Ive worked with Brandon in service for several years now and his knowledge and willingness to take the time to answer questions, make suggestions and keep the customer updated on progress keeps me coming back. Ive spent well over $7k in upgrades to my 17 freewheeler and Brandon assisted me in my decisions and oversaw the work in the majority of those. He doesnt try to sell, just offers sound advise and options. Most recently he noticed a small nail in my front tire when I brought it in for a 15k service. Possibly a real life saver!Jason in parts has also been a wealth of information and assistance on modifying my bike and was one of the main reasons I purchased my bike at your location. No hard sell, just offers great options based on years of experience.Billy in sales always makes it a point to offer a warm hand shake and smile and is always willing to help in any way he can.All the ladies in the clothing and accessories department are also super helpful and will you find just what you’re looking for.Great team, great place!

My salesman Josh was awesome. Each time i go into the store i ONLY deal with him. Josh has been so helpful since Day 1 of my very first purchase/bike. He’s my go to guy for whatever issues i may be having or whatever it may be. You name it he’s got the answer for you or bet your bottom dollar he’s gonna make it happen. So if you’re looking to buy a new Harley head over to Black Gold Harley and only ask for my main man Josh.
I am only giving a one star because I did receive my desired outcome.(which was two new parts) I arrived at the store Saturday and it was a first come first serve basis at the service department. I arrived at approximately 08:15 so I can be in and out. (opens at 08:00) There was at least five others in front of myself for service. I talked to someone initially and it was a great experience so as far as the staff in the front it was a great experience; super helpful however the mechanics in the back must be taking their time because it took close to 7 1/2 hours to have two common items easily replaced at any vehicle shop. Ive seen MULTIPLE motorcycles enter the shop and have what I needed done and moved out before my motorcycle. These motorcycle were people who showed up hours after I did. I seen multiple others arrive and be worked on with random issues and be completed; so I do not believe first come first serve was a valid thing. Finally when my motorcycle was on the lift I seen multiple people walking around in the shop, and bringing in other bikes while my bike is sitting there unattended to. This is frustrating because if they helped work on my bike(if it was more difficult then the others) then they wouldnt have had a customer wait over 7 hours. I wasnt told any time frame on when it was going to be done. Again first come first serve and having confirmed that there is a small crowd there today usually its a lot bigger before the store opens up told me along with my visual of who was there before me that I would be up quick in that line. No communication from staff about (hey it might be 5 hours; you want to leave and come back? Ill call you) Just me standing around waiting. Now I was approached about another part found that was worn completely out and needed replacing however that park is connected to the simple part being replaced so that is a easy replacement; just waiting on my approval. I never write reviews however; My biggest take away from this is the staffing up front in sales was great at making you feel like you are making the right purchases(spending money on merchandise) and the parts guy was super helpful and looked for the extra parts I needed to work on my bike further at home. The sales staff could get better results or make the customer feel like their time wasnt wasted waiting all day by informing the customer that the service is going to be X amount of hours and they can leave and come back if they choose to.

My experience was probably one of the best I had. Rudy sold me a street glide that just wasnt up to par, but Rudy stayed in contact with me and kept me up to date on what was going on with the bike. Jason and Mat in service were awesome also. In the end we all come to the conclusion that it would be best to get another bike. They made things right and now Im on a 2017 street glide that I would ride anywhere. Thank you to all the awesome people at Black Gold Harley Davidson you said you take care of me and you did. Came in shopping for t-shirts and walked out with the new Arctic Blast because Rudy was just the nicest most non-pushy salesman we have encountered. It was like we had some instant connection with him when we started talking. He answered all our questions and was very attentive to all concerns we had and stayed with us through the entire sales process. If youre buying a new bike I would recommend you see Rudy.
My experience with this dealership didnt start off too good but then Mike Kozda the general manager. He Gave me a good deal I was going to go elsewhere to buy a bike for way cheaper price but he was able to make it right. The only thing I didnt like is the fact the shipping cost. It was $1595 when Harley Davidson corporate called me and advised they only charge $595 to ship it to the dealership. Which should never be marked up by $1000 and they are going to look into it. As they have received complaints from others as well regarding this. But will I buy another bike from them. Absolutely they are good people its like a family environment. One more thing dont get a Gap insurance if you dont need it. Waste of a $1000

Been having bikes serviced here since 2012. Brandon in the service department is top notch. Takes time to explain things to you and never pushes you into repairs you dont need. Always helpful in answering questions. Doesnt treat you like a customer but more as a family member. Wouldnt deal with anyone other than him on any of my bike needs.
When I walked in Brice Torres welcomed me in and made the whole first-time Harley owner experience a very enjoyable event. Brice was fantastic. I went in to buy an 883 but that bike did not fit me, Brice took me on discovery and helped me pick the 2021 Sportster XL1200NS, he patiently help me experience the bike and made sure I was comfortable on it. He walked me through all the options that I had available to fit the bike to my personality. I Loved the friendly service of Brice, sales manager Mike, parts manager Eric, and finance manager Rusty. Overall a great and lovable event. The team especially Brice made sure that I have all the information to make my decision. I walked out a proud owner of a Harley-Davidson bike that I will enjoy for a long time. Even after the purchase Brice followed up and ensured that I am satisfied and to call upon him if I had any questions. I will definitely upgrade and Black Gold-HD will be my dealership of choice.
For the most part this place is awesome, they worked a deal to get me in a bike that I didnt think I would qualify for or be able to afford but they did make a deal happen that I was happy with. Only issue that I have with this place is I traded in a bike that I had bought from same dealership with an extended warranty. Going on 4 months now and I continue to get billed on an extended warranty for a bike that I no longer own. Have made multiple calls and keep getting the we will look into it response. I mean I understand that times get busy but Im out almost a $1000 just in this warranty issue and its getting agitating. Still no response from finance team or team that covers extended warranty.Review update, Harley team in Allen was able to get resolution to problem. Jeff worked extremely hard in ensuring the problem would no longer persist as well as getting full refund on all additional charges from warranty company or even from Harley if warranty company does not give refund. Very grateful for them helping get this resolved and continuing their great customer satisfaction.
Every time I walk in the shop, I am greeted and treated well by every staff member I come into contact with, whether looking for a new bike, parts, clothing, or even something as small as a key chain.Update, as I went in to purchase a new bike. We needed a bike that would be more comfortable for my wife as a passenger on long rides than the bikes I already had. Heather helped us find the perfect Ultra Limited that solved all of our issues. She worked with us through the process to make sure that my wife was comfortable on the motorcycle, and that I would be happy riding it. She did not pressure us, or push, and just made sure all of our questions were answered, that we got a test ride, and that we were happy with the motorcycle we ended up purchasing. After the sale, when taking delivery she made sure that everything was perfect, and paid attention to every little detail as though it was her own bike. She made sure I was comfortable with the tech on the bike and understood how to operate everything. I left a very happy customer, and immediately comfortable with the nuances of the new bike.

I felt no pressure, I explained my credit was not the best and In the end they really took care of me in finance as well. I bought a bike and even after I got home, I felt really good about it, and still do.I had other needs as well that were a bit out of his area like parts and service, and he was very patient and took me around to the people who could help and work with me. This guy was super busy and yet seemed to be able to spend lots of time with everyone was helping without any rushing.And heres the kicker; a week AFTER I bought the bike and wanted to play a game with my son and surprise him he came through for me, set it all up, and patiently helped me pull it off. even 15 min before they closed.My son thought we were gonna start looking for a bike for him, and did not know I bought it for him; he was totally Surprised!@I was hesitant to give such a good review because I thought, wow anyone that reads this is gonna think its not genuine, by decided against keeping silent in appreciation for how he treated me. I have never met David G. before, and have no relation to anyone at this dealership other than buying some oil, from time to time.Abba Aarons, very satisfied customer.
Pros, Mark and everyone was very nice to me and mine. I did a lot of my deal via phone, text and email. Nice dealership, clean and covered up with bikes. This is a good dealership for buying your bike. Cons, my opinions on a few things. The person who is in charge of cleaning up used bikes really needs to clean better. I personally have not ridden my bike yet as I have it tore apart cleaning it. Nothing was cleaned under seat, behind side covers looks like it has not been cleaned since new, didnt even remove saddle bags to wash the rear of the bike let alone the wheel and such. Is this a legit grip? I dont know but, I for one really try to keep my stuff clean and what is charged for their inventory fee I would expect more. the right side of bike looked a whole lot better than the left side. easier to clean on right side I guess. The left side switch housing screws were lose, the top one was only there by the grace of god. Overall this is all the real negative I have to say ,and its more of a personal hang up one all the filth. One other thing if they make sure used bikes are in good shape and safe to ride, why not replace the windshield when its not safe to ride with. mine was delaminating, scratched up so bad on the test ride into the sun I was barely able to see. I my opinion that should have been replaced when the shop went over the bike. instead I had to buy a new one at $150.00. OK I am gonna stop there, sounds like I am blasting them for what I think should have been done better or different. Good bunch of guys there.
I took my 2016 Tri Glide in for a 10k service and State Inspection. Brandon was my Service Advisor. The team completed the service and fixed the few minor issues that I pointed out and found a few others that I was not aware of. I cant say enough about the professionalism of both Brandon and Shane, its clear that they know their work and they love what they do. They appreciate a Harley owners love for their bike. Its always a pleasure to talk with them about the next upgrades... they take the time to listen and give solid advice on both looks and performance, theyre not afraid to steer me away from something that they think I might later regret... THAT is great customer service... it keeps me coming back.
I dropped my Harley Battery for charge for two days and when I went to collect battery Service guy said it is fully charged and gave me wrong statistics, and when I hooked the battery in and checked out it was 0% charged I have all the valid readings to prove, sincere advice to Dealership improve and service department and dont think customer is fool and not experienced, highly rude staff and will be sending email to Harley Davidson to stop malpractice of this dealerships service department, not recommended dealer for service.
Really impressed with Kieth who assisted in helping me get set up with new bike. Really seemed like making the sale was secondary to making sure I was completely satisfied in every way ! Never a moment of pressure to buy, to much time making sure my questions were answered and that I would be satisfied with purchase. And then after sale, he continued putting in a lot of effort to make sure bike was properly set up and that delivery would be quick and flawless !

I came in last Monday evening and traded in my Sportster for a 2014 Ultra Limited with the touring package. Here it is Sunday night and Ive put over 500 miles on it in less than a week. The bike is all Id thought itd be and more! Chris Rosenbaum was awesome through every stage of the purchasing process. He made sure I landed in my price range and didnt get in over my head in monthly payments. I ordered a 2022 CVO Tri-Glide. My 3rd Harley-Davidson motorcycle purchase from Black Gold. The most expensive bike Ive ever seen, but also the most equipped bike Ive seen; with features and accessories. The salesman - Josh, is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. He provided me all the information I needed to make this purchase. Kudos to Josh. The Sales Manager - Brice is one of the best sales managers Ive ever worked with. He, expertly, negotiated a price that made it possible for me to complete the purchase, while making sure Black Gold made a reasonable profit. The Finance Manager - Chris Rosenbaum, has walked me through the paperwork for all three of the bikes I purchased at Black Gold. Hes a true expert in his field and is very personable. He helped me find the right mix of warranty and service plans, that meet my needs and riding style. Purchasing a bike at the cost point of a CVO Tri-Glide can be quit unnerving, but all the staff at Black Gold helped to ensure I had all the information I needed to make this purchase. I had a great experience at tie dealership. I started looking online and was contacted back by the internet department. I showed up at the dealership and Josh came right out and showed me everything. He was very patient and helpful. Rusty the finance guy made everything easy. Another gentleman (Keith I think) was very helpful he happen to have the same bike I bought. Overall my experience was very good. This is my first Harley and Im really looking forward to the ride.

Shane has always taken very good care of me and several friends as well. this last time was no exception. he went out of his way to ensure that my bike was fixed properly and in a very timely manner. I have been coming to him since I first bought my bike and I have no desire to see anyone else. in fact he went above and beyond and had the guys buff out some scratches I had on my fender and tank, I did not ask him to do that it was just done. I couldnt think of any reason not to give Shane a perfect review.

Did everything and more without hearing we cant do that even once. Seems anymore you take anything in to get work done and thats the reply we cant do that, I can get a specialist in to do it but its going to be a few days more and cost a sh*! I went in to look at some motorcycles and ended up getting a really nice Road Glide. Brandon and Rusty were very helpful and worked really hard to get me the bike I wanted. I didnt feel pressured or uncomfortable like I have from other salesmen at other dealerships. I recently purchased my Harley and had issues with my shifting foot. Brandin suggested I get a toe heal shifter. I called the parts department and they told me Id have to go with something after market for my particular Harley - he went on line found it for me and ordered it. I was expecting to have to find it myself; legendary service always.

Brice worked with us to find the right bike for us. He worked through all the tedious questions we had and we ended up on a 2021 FLHXS that were super happy with. Brice and Mike were patient and wanted to work for us and didnt ever feel like they were pushy. Overall a great experience.
I’ll start by saying that everyone was very kind and welcoming, they definitely did what they needed to do to get a sale though. Communication is lacking. My father purchased a bike April 15, 2021, he purchased in Texas but lives in AZ, they were awesome with getting the ADOT info done. Where things start to fall apart is that my father was told “you’re going to be here two weeks? we can get the bike in a couple days and you can ride it while you’re here!” My dad didn’t have a helmet so he said no, just to ship it to his house. Wednesday (shipping day) rolled around nothing..... HE continued to have to reach out often times with no response. It’s now MAY 11 and he still does not have his bike. He’s had to make a payment on a bike he doesn’t even have. The ONLY communication he’s gotten is when he’s reached out and by the Harley Davidson in Phoenix where his bike was shipped to.Id they need to order you a bike, my suggestion is to not do it. He was promised his bike on the week of April 26 (keep in mind they said they could have it by April 19 for my father to ride while in TX), and here we are, almost a month post purchase (they didn’t even have hands on the bike until last week). Do not believe their promises, and expect to not have an ordered bike for at least a month.

Had a great experience with Black Gold! Mitch made buying a motorcycle fun and easy. He listened to everything I was saying and worked hard to get me what I was looking for, even as things would change on the fly. He stayed in contact with me just the right amount and never felt like I was being pressured to buy. The rest of the staff I worked with in other departments was just the same. Yes its bigger than old location, but they didnt seem to have many newer bikes inside. We took our Harley Trike for servicing and definitely is taking longer than seems right. We went to pick it up, assuming (I know) it would be ready, as they were working on the detailing many days ago, but told us it wouldnt be ready until Monday, two weeks after we brought it in.
I highly recommend the service department of Dallas Harley (Allen). I always get over-the-top service. Shane and Brandon along with the whole team provide both friendly, prompt and quality service. I moved from Plano to Rowlett and still ride up to their shop for service. They are #1 in my book.
Simply put, you wont be disappointed by choosing to buy your next motorcycle from Black Gold Harley Davidson. The staff was very friendly and eager to answer any questions you might have. I bought a motorcycle with the help from Keith and Mike and got the best deal in town. Rusty did a great job with the paperwork, answering any and all questions...Finally, I couldnt believe this, it was raining and they were concerned the wet ramp could result in damage to the bike. The next day, and I live out on a county road far from the dealership, Chicago Eddie showed up with the bike locked down in a trailer. This is too good to be true. Eddie had washed the bike and delivered it in mint condition.. How good is that?? Keith should be commended for his honesty and helpfulness with questions I had before making the drive to take a look. There werent any surprises. The bike is all that and then some. All I can say is THANK YOU..
Brandin and Rudy were very knowledgeable and had answers to all my questions when purchasing my new bike. I recommend asking for either of those guys when you go in. I chose Black Gold after shopping around because they make sure the bike you purchase is something they would put their name on. They stand behind what they sell, and I really like that.
I would recommend Black Gold to anyone. I gave them almost an impossible task and they were able to handle it. They were able to get me on a bike that I am very happy with and with very favorable conditions for me. It was not easy but they took every avenue they could to get me on a bike and finally got it worked out. Justin was my sales person and he was very understanding and helpful and went out of his way to help. I dealt with the Sales Manager Mike and the Finance Manager Jeff and both worked hard and did not give up and got it done. This is where I will get any bike I get and highly recommend them.

The sales person I worked with was great but the positive part of my experience stopped there. The finance person I spoke with came off as a used-car salesman type who approached me with a, “I’ve got great news for you” line that I found to be very off-putting. Then they tried to add in almost $3k in extra fees before TTL to the purchase price and tried to pass it off as completely normal with a very condescending tone. I ended up walking from the deal and left disgusted at the way these guys were doing business. I will not come again and don’t recommend this dealer at all.
As a new rider I wanted the perfect first bike. Im happy to be able to find my new ride at H-D in Allen Texas! Ive never been to a Harley Dealership ever and I was welcomed like I was a regular customer. Heather Swank was the one who introduced me to my new baby! Great customer service. Everyone was friendly and acknowledged us as soon as we entered the building. Julius helped us at the parts counter. I was impressed by the variety of clothing available. The Allen store is a lot bigger than what we have here. It’s worth the 2 1/2 hour drive. Will be back when we can.
Black Gold HD has about the friendliest staff I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with. On 9/17/2020 I showed up to take a peak at some of the used Sportster 1200’s they had posted online. I had almost decided on one when I went around the corner and saw a beautiful machine. That’s when Keith, a salesman, found me. I had been told this bike just arrived on the 16th and was going for the same price as the Sportsters I was eyeing. This was a 2006 Special Edition Softail Deluxe. I bought it basically on the spot. As I was waiting I was introduced to the staff over in merchandise, parts, and services. I met Rusty, the sales manager, and he was just as friendly and helpful as the others. They took my bike back and gave her a full makeover. Picked her up today, 9/18/2020, and I couldn’t be happier with the bike, my purchase, the staff, and the entire experience I had at Black Gold Harley Davidson. I’ve never been a brand guy, but owning a Harley Davidson comes with much more than just owning a good bike. This community is amazing. Would recommend: 10/10.

Chris Swearingen in the service department was the only person who acted like he cared about taking care of me and my bike needs during my rider to rider finance and service. He really stepped up to the plate and provided quality customer service to make up for the lack of it in the sales/finance department. If you are doing a rider to rider and not buying a bike directly from the dealer, good luck. They don’t like that they aren’t making a bunch of money off you and it will definitely show in the process.

Primary sales rep was great, answered all my questions and was attentive. I work in sales so I know the game pretty well. The sales manager on the other hand had me there for two hours making a deal on a bike that wasnt for sale. We hashed out the particulars for that two hour period. I was under the impression I was leaving with the bike I wanted. The manager came back and said it was under contract with another location. Understandable, because it was a nice bike. I would have liked to of known that 2 hours earlier when the deal for that bike began. I left the dealership after 3 hours because their system went down and the deal with the other dealership couldnt be confirmed. Sales Manager told me he would give me a call soon to let me know the outcome. Two days later I had to contact them to get a final disposition. Manger told me he was dialing the wrong number to let me know. My correct info was in their system and email. Then there was a poor attempt to explore other purchase options. I spend thousands of dollars there and I expected more. All that being said, I love HD and love to ride. I will be going to another location in the future to purchase a bike.
Store had a nice layout and was clean. I found what I was looking for easy enough, but I was never greeted by any employees or asked if I needed help. Store looked like maybe they were short handed, but usually any time I am in a dealership and I am looking at their inventory some salesman offers to help. Maybe next time.
The whole sales team is very efficient and easy to talk to. Brandin was super laid back and was there to pretty much assist with the sale without putting any pressure (like a lot of sales people would do) that really made everything easy. Rusty finance manager was very cool too and the inhouse finance was easy! you guys made a customer for life!
The dealership spent an amazing amount of time searching for the exact bike I wanted and kept me updated the entire time, never giving up. it took weeks to locate my bike and for us to strike a deal but we did and Im glad it was with Black Gold, they treated me like family, I was comfortable immediately and will never shop anywhere else again. This is my fourth HD and my first with Black Gold.

Every time Im there I get great customer service. I tried going to the HD in Garland because its closer but unfortunately it wasnt the best experience for me. But Ill make the journey to Black and Gold. Everyone there has given me great customer service. Its why I go back. From service to apparel. Im always greeted. Asked if I need anything. I went the other day just to pick up some new mirrors for my dyna. Interacted with a few employees. It was great. You can tell they liked working there. Compared to the Dallas HD it felt like they were just there. Not as enthusiastic as the Allen store.
I was in the market for a new lid and Megann was very patient and helpful and explained the pros and cons of each of the different i was interested in. She is / was very personable and was not pushy for me to make a decision.Update: 25 March 21. I had my bike in for service a couple weeks back and Brandon helped me out. He was very communicative on the progress of bike and what was being done.
I bought my Shoei RF-1200 there last year and had the clear and tinted shield but wanted to try the mirrored one because I was told I could wear it at night and in the day time. So I looked it up online and saw the one I wanted on the Shoei site and low and behold yall had the exact color that I wanted! Jessia was Awesome! I made it to the dealership like with 3 min to spare and she waited for me and helped me change it out and get on my way. I really appreciate Jessia and the whole Black Gold HD staff. I just bought my first bike from here about a month ago and the experience was top notch! I contacted most of the Harley dealers in the metroplex and Black Gold was the only one that gave me superior customer service and treated me like family rather than a customer. Since it was my first bike I was indecisive but Devin had the patience of a saint and helped guide me towards what has turned out to be the perfect one for me. Not once did I feel taken advantage of or taken for granted. Devin and Tyler both put me at ease and earned my trust. I will not spend a penny of my money with any other local dealer even though I work down the street from one and live 10 minutes from a different one. Went to location today want even greeted only by another customer walking in. Was looking to purchase cash in hand and not one person approached me. Everyone talking to each other one guy on phone walking around showing his girlfriend all the bikes I assume. I can to buy a bike and left never wanting to go back. Its nice place but I like customers service not a fancy building. So if you looking for bike and willing to be ignored this is the place.
Was an absolute fantastic experience. Lo-T took great care of us and is what every sales person should strive to be like. We left with two brand new beautiful bikes. The entire staff was a pleasure to work with, from Mike in Finance, Tyler the general sales manager, Chris in sales and of course Lo-T. I would highly recommend anyone head to Harley Davidson of Dallas if they are looking to pick up a beautiful bike, parts or gear. Speak to Lo-T, he will make sure you are well taken care of!
From the moment I walked in we were welcomed by the staff even though we got there just an hour before they closed on a Saturday. They went above and beyond to get us into (or onto) a bike that was a great fit at a fantastic price. The sales person (Chris S.) was amazing too. He was so very helpful and had great knowledge with every question I had.
FYI - at least some of the sales staff are not following COVID precautions indoors (wearing masks/social distancing). Even though we were wearing masks, sanitizing when we came in, and standing 6 feet away from our sales associate when talking, he still tried to shake our hands at the end of the visit. Very nice facility and they seemed helpful and friendly otherwise, so Ill give it 2 stars. If we return, we will only be giving our business to those sales associates following COVID precautions, since Harley Davidson itself doesnt seem concerned about it.

I always have a great experience here! I love the people they are very friendly. But today at the Easter event I had a questionable experience with the blue haired chubby girl. She didn’t seem as knowledgeable and she was almost rushing me like she had somewhere better to be instead of helping me. Other than that I always love going to the BLACK GOLD HARLEY DAVIDSON!!!
I just bought a 2019 Heritage Softail classic. great experience. Slagg my salesman was knowledgeable, helpful and gave me excellent advice. He went the extra mile for me. Rusty in finance put it all together. everyone I came in contact at Black & Gold were very customer oriented. This is the place to go to buy your next Harley or in my case my 1st Harley!

2022-06-07Our salesman, Davis Bentle, was hands down absolutely amazing. Me and my husband both agree that he was the MAIN reason we stayed and purchased our bike. We can’t recommend him enough… He took his time and knew when we found what we really wanted. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the bike WE wanted. He followed up with us the following day making sure everything was good and we were happy. Mike, the GM, stepped in our bike deal and personally saw it through. He went above and beyond as well to see that we were completely satisfied and the financing was where we wanted it to be. The finance manager that closed the deal, Chris, was great as well. He knew we were pressed on time but still made sure to be thorough. He never spit out a bunch of papers off the printer expecting us to just sign. He went over everything answering all our questions.

2022-05-04When I mentioned that it was my first bike, Billy was more than happy to educate me on gear shifting and other things about bikes. With his knowledge and tips, I was driving masterfully and safely the second I got it unloaded from the truck and on the road. Danny (or Daniel I think) was a huge help as well. I was in there clueless about a lot of things, and where alot of people would’ve become aggravated, he was more patient and kind than I could’ve ever asked for. He made sure I was 100% satisfied from the second I got there, to the moment I left the store with my new bike. I hope I meet guys like this everywhere I go. Jeff and Chris were also helpful in the buying process and worked in a quick manner, and a guy named Marcus I believe also helped me pick the right cover for my bike. There was a short girl there who was very knowledgeable in motorcycle gear. I can’t remember her name but she was very small. She was very helpful as well and not pushy like most sales people, even though it’s her job to sell items. I think it is at least. She was very patient with me as well and helped me pick the right gear. I was very satisfied with my experience, and even though I live so far away, I’ll try to visit the establishment anytime I’m in the area. My Iron 883 has been fantastic on the road these past few days.

He recently sold me the Vance/Hines exhaust amongst many other things and his opinion and recommendations were spot on for what I was looking for. I have been buying parts and accessories from Julius for several years now and its always a pleasure. I love this dealership and the entire staff is always so nice and friendly!!! 2021-10-29Total friendly environment. They made me feel like we were old friends. From Rick and I connecting. Josh was knowledgeable, patient, and showed me different bikes. He even explained why to make the bike fit to me. Donald with the straight forward pricing. Rusty with the transparent payments and offering great service contracts. Lauren in retail helping pick the perfect helmet. It was an overall great experience. No pressure just a great group of people who honestly like working there. It was an experience I have never felt in any dealership. I HIGHLY recommend Black Gold Harley Davidson.

2021-09-15When I walked in Brice Torres welcomed me in and made the whole first-time Harley owner experience a very enjoyable event. Brice was fantastic. I went in to buy an 883 but that bike did not fit me, Brice took me on discovery and helped me pick the 2021 Sportster XL1200NS, he patiently help me experience the bike and made sure I was comfortable on it. He walked me through all the options that I had available to fit the bike to my personality. I Loved the friendly service of Brice, sales manager Mike, parts manager Eric, and finance manager Rusty. Overall a great and lovable event. The team especially Brice made sure that I have all the information to make my decision. I walked out a proud owner of a Harley-Davidson bike that I will enjoy for a long time. Even after the purchase Brice followed up and ensured that I am satisfied and to call upon him if I had any questions. I will definitely upgrade and BlackGold-HD will be my dealership of choice.

Not only does he know the bikes like the back of his hand, but he’s a friend before he is a salesman.
