Every time I bring my babies here I have the best experience. I especially love the Vet Dr. Heidi. She is great with customer service and actually cares about your pet vs other vets. Great staff, great prices, and great place over all.

Took JR for his Allergy shot and a ear ache. They do a great job, fast and friendly. JR likes to visit the other animals but doesnt like the back office. They might be a little High but JR is worth it!

I cannot put into words how amazing this WHOLE crew is,that works here! From first greet through the door, Polly, and every single person. Im still emotional about my dog, so I wont say too much, but that, I wish I would have met them when I first got my dog. No other Vets in a 60 mile area hold a candle to this awesome professional group if people, in my opinion. I will recommend them to everyone!
They are so fantastic here. So wonderful with my two very nervous dogs, always working hard to put them at ease. They go out of their way to help them be the least stressed as possible. They definitely care about the animals. Ive been going to them for a few years and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
I love the way Heidi treats my fur babies! She has been excellent, even coming to our home to put down our older dog who couldnt walk anymore. They treat our babies so well. 10/10 will bring my dogs here forever
Took my chiuhauha to the boyd animal hospital. Found out she has really bad allergies. I will b going back to Boyds animal hospital again. Its a very clean and staff is friendly. Prices are good. I was in and out in a timely manner. Thank you to all the people working at boyd animal hospital.

Thank you - I cant say enough about Boyd Veterinary Hospital. We are new to the area and our sweet 14 year old yellow lab was at end of life. The staff at Boyd Veterinary Hospital were so kind in our time of need. The Vet, technician and office staff were extremely patient and thoughtful during this most difficult experience.
Two amazing Veterinarians that truly care for your pet. Whether it is the glow in their eyes seeing your dog getting better or the love they show when it comes time to let your senior pup go... Dr. Heidi and Dr. Sarah are amazing and have our utmost respect for the work they do! They really are the most hard working medical team Ive ever met. They even helped say goodbye to our 30 year old mare. The entire staff works well together from the front office to the medical team. I highly recommend them for all of your animal care needs.
Dr. Shipp was so kind to me and my Laila(dog) Saturday. Laila obviously felt very comfortable as she was calmer than usual in a vets office. The clunic was extremely clean and zero animal odor. She is under their care today. After her first 30 minutes they called with the first update. I am feeling very comfortable with their care and expertise.
The whole experience was very positive. Everyone was nice and my pup loved them. A good place to take your pets.
Weve had nothing but top notch care from this wonderful Veterinarian Office. We see Dr. Sarah Blanton and she is a lovely woman who is so kind and patient with us. Most importantly she shows the same with our dogs! All of our pet needs and questions are handled with kindness and patience. Both Doctors and Staff were very compassionate when they help us send our 14 year old Labradors over the rainbow bridge. That kindness will never be forgotten by us!
I love our vet and even better our dog and three cats love them too! Our vet loves our furbabies as their own! Ill never forget how my crazy 3 year old puppy who has no chill got so excited and calm at the same time when the vet walked in the room. They gave him so much love while giving him his shot you would have thought he was spoiled!!! It was awesome!!! I love this vet!!!
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! If I were to ever move I would make a drive to bring my fur babies here! They are kind, always take calls and treat you with the up most respect. They make me laugh, and have comforted me through a tough time too. All around great people and top of the line docs!
I am very impressed with these folks, everyone was kind to me and my best friend Duke. She was very sick, and they were careful not to waste money and treatment for my very sick dog. Not a happy ending, but pleased on how we were treated..On a scale of 1 - 10 I give them all a 15. Highly Recommended.
The staff here was wonderful to our husky puppy Marley. We took him in after hed broken out of our gate and was missing for 2 days. They checked him out well and sent us with antibiotics for the skin infection hed gotten between his toes. They befriended Marley, and were so kind to him.
This place deserves an award for outstanding service & compassion! They have loved all my animals like their own for more than 15 years. Prices are reasonable..the vet is awesome..Your pet will be treated like family & that is priceless!

My dog woke up this morning with blood all over him. He had a large sack of blood on the end of his tail. Very worried but realizing it was Saturday I googled to see what time Boyd Animal Hospital, the vet we use for all of our dogs, was open until. It was almost 10am but seeing they closed at 12pm and it was an emergency I had hope. That hope was quickly shot down as I was told they had no time for a dog bleeding profusely from its tail and I’d have to call someone else. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend this vet and I’ll be using a different one from here on out.
Called these people with my dog having congestive heart failure and they told me sorry only have one vet today and they are booked. that I could take him to somewhere else. I will not be taking any of my animals to this place for any reasons.

Wonderful, caring vets. Weve never had a negative experience. The wait can sometimes be long as it is at any vet clinic, but overall its a great place to take your pets.
I took my 10 yr old dog too get his teeth cleaned several times here. The first time he still had very bad breath after and I told them that the next time I took him. They sent me pictures of one side of his teeth showing before and after. So I looked in his mouth, as soon as I received them and in the other side I saw extreme plaque build up and his breath was still stinking bad. They pulled 3 front teeth. I took him for a third time to get his teeth cleaned and told them his breathing was bad. So I agreed to blood work of $85. Blood work came back normal, but doc said he had congestive heart failure. So they didnt clean his teeth. That was about 6 months ago. Well, he started bleeding at the mouth and I took him to another vet and they had to pull 6 teeth, 3 in front a pre-molar and 2 molars. He has always loved to chew on the things dogs are supposed to chew to keep their teeth clean, even now after all the teeth that are gone. Which I spend a lot of money keeping him supplied with things to chew on. Funny thing now that he has healed from 6 more teeth pulled, his breath dont stink, and his heavy hard breathing is gone. And oh, he never had a cough that goes along with congestive heart failure. Its so hard finding a good vet these days.
Heidi and her staff have taken care of my pups for years. I have a very guarded and reserved Akbash mix that does not tolerate much. Heidi came out, on a farm call, to vaccinate my pups. Honestly, as she got out of her truck, I was already apologizing Tucks behavior. I got him inside, she waited until he was on his bed and put a towel over his head and did her job, with her vet tech. This may sound like not a big deal, but it was huge for Tuck and I. I wont take my animals anywhere else.
My sweet boy hank was hit by a car Tuesday morning. my heart was broken i thought the worse, my husband and i rushed as soon as they opened to them and they came out and got him out of the truck for us because he was in so much pain. they laid him down and said that i can stay with him til its time to get him back there. so i did and they called me and my spouse every step of the way. i am truly blessed that we found them so fast they took him in as if he was one if their puppies. thank yall so much for everything 5/5

I found a dog, last night, that was in terrible pain after being hit by a car. I was desperately looking for a place to help him. So after being turned away at another vet, my husband called the Boyd animal hospital. The woman on the phone said that an examine of the pup would be free and that if we surrender him, the surgery would be as well, and the hospital would find him a home after.. So after driving another 30 minutes with this pitiful pup, we are told that the exam would be 40 dollars and he would need x-rays which would cost x amount because they need to make money. An absolutely terrible experience for me and more importantly the pup. We were lied to and the pup had to suffer all the meanwhile. If it was possible, I would give this place 0 stars.

Knowledgeable vet but doesnt always believe what clients tell her. This can be very frustrating when you are trying to relay pertinent facts she should know. Most of the staff are helpful but a few are sullen and some have been seen to be careless with pets.

2022-06-11Extremely friendly staff. We talked and laughed while waiting for the vet. It felt like the staff and I were friends.My mother in laws dog is aggressive so they take him in and secluded him to protect the rest of the customers animals . Other vets I have been tp have not done this.

2022-05-10Really, really loved this vet until today. I’ve been going here for years. My dog with CHF isn’t doing well and it’s time. I call them and they say they’re booked until next week and to call another vet. So you could see me for all my appointments, but when it comes to one of the hardest decisions I will ever make I have to go see a stranger? Thanks a lot. There should always be room for this kind of appointment.

2022-06-11I had a 14 yr old German Shepard his hind leg was paralyzed and it was time to put him down. You might think kindness and compassion might have been in order but Valery has been working there too long because she was the most rude and uncaring person I have seen in sometime. The Vets have always been very good but VALERY is a liability to this Clinic! I WILL NEVER RETURN> Mark Norman

2020-12-02I am so glad I chose to bring my dog all the way down from Loveland, CO to Boyd Animal Hospital for her treatment! A month ago, my 7 year old dog went down for the count. She couldnt stop whimpering and physically could not pick herself up off the floor. This dog has climbed more mountains than most people could ever claim. She runs, swims, fetches, and is always begging for more. She is an absolute athlete and this episode was completely out of the blue. I rushed her to the best animal hospital in northern Colorado and was told my dog had a possibility of three different ailments but would require a $3k MRI to determine exactly what was wrong with her and then a follow up surgery for any of the possible causes.I decided right then and there to come home to Texas and seek out Dr Sarahs professional opinion. Dr Sarah took one series of X-rays and found my dog had arthritis and what appeared to be a small change on her spine in the same area which was probably the cause of her acute pain. She erred on the side of caution and suggested a round of antibiotics for 2 weeks to see if the change was not in fact just an infection.Fast forward two weeks, my dog quickly recovered from being in constant agony to back up and walking around, to short bursts of playing, and then finally back to running.Another two weeks and she was swimming and practically her old self.It has been about a month since Dr. Sarahs treatment and I can happily say that my dog is completely back to normal and she has never been happier, as am I!10/10 would highly recommend the 14 hour drive to see Boyd Animal Hospital and their amazing staff!Thank you for not only saving my dog from a bout of pain and suffering but also for advising me against drastic measures that turned out not being necessary and would have cost a fortune.
