Bumblebee Did a fantastic job on our wedding! Everything from the food to the day of coordination was top-of-the-line. It was wonderful working with them, they are kind and patient and very easy-going. I love that you could do multiple things with them-I did coordination, catering, serving staff, rentals, and my cake! Being able to use them for all of this was so convenient! I can’t stress enough to future brides how wonderful it was to have a one stop shop. If I had to recommend one thing the most though, it would be using Megan as your day of coordinator. She went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day flowed as smoothly as possible and took care of everything. She called all my other vendors the week before and made sure they were good to go, she arranged all the decor and kept everyone on time. All of our guest commented on how great of a wedding it was and how it all worked out perfectly. I attribute a lot of that to Megan and her hard work. Thank you Megan and bumblebee for making my dream wedding possible!
The entire staff at Bumblebee helped take SOOOO much stress out of planning my wedding! They were all so kind, professional and flexible. They helped me navigate all the hiccups that go with weddings (especially during covid) with genuine care and concern for creating the best and safest experience possible on our big day. They have such a passion for what they do and its reflected in the quality of their work, be it floral, cake, or food. I was so blessed to have them be a part of our wedding!
Our venue recommended Bumblebee and I sure am thankful they did! We worked with Megan at the beginning and then with Sharon who was our day of coordinator. Every meeting we had with them was fun and they listened to every detail we were looking for and made it become a reality. Sharon made this entire process stress free and that much more enjoyable. We used them for everything you could think of and the fact that they offer a multitude of services also cut back on the stress because you know who you are working with and have one contact. On the day of our wedding we also got the pleasure of meeting Nancy who was also wonderful! Sharon read my mind and anything I could think of or need she was always there already one step ahead of me. Sharon, I know I told you this before our send off but we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us and for you and your team being so amazing to work with!!
We LOVED working with Bumble Bee! It was very convenient for us and eased a lot of potential stress for us to have all of our vendors in one place and one source of contact for everyone. Megan was fantastic at coordinating and organizing communication with the various vendors through Bumble Bee and we were able to have nearly everything for our wedding taken care of through Bumble Bee. Our engagement was on the shorter end and Bumble Bee was willing to work with our timeline so that we were able to have enough time to make decisions and payments. The DJ was great and even played host to my husband and I to ensure we were getting plenty to eat and drink. He catered to our specific song and genre requests. Sharon took the time to discuss floral options well with us and helped me make decisions despite my lack of floral knowledge. We were so pleased with Bumble Bee and will gladly recommend them to any one in need of wedding vendors.
Bumble Bee gave me the wedding of my dreams. From the food, to the decorations, to the cake, to the coordination. Our Day was dreamlike and weve received so many compliments on everything! The wedding would not have been as wonderful without everything they did for us! Nancy and Sharon were just amazing and I seriously will be sending EVERYONE to BBO for any of their special occasions. I cant believe I ever asked myself, Do I really need a wedding coordinator? The answer was YES, I did. And YES, you do too. The team at BBO was absolutely amazing to work with. I hired them to handle not only my month-of coordination, but also my floral design, table decor and DJ. My wedding was gorgeous and everything went over perfectly, without a hitch. On the front end of the planning phase, Sharon and Kourtney were a joy to work with. They spent hours with me going over every second of the day, getting to know me and my vision for what our wedding would look like. Sharon is extremely knowledgable and was happy to answer any of my questions about proper wedding etiquette, but also encouraged me to do things the way *I* wanted. I left my consultation feeling 100 pounds lighter, because I knew BBO had me covered. Once the day arrived, we were assigned Nancy as our day-of coordinator. My entire family agrees that Nancy was a gift sent straight to us from Heaven. When I say I did not worry about a SINGLE detail on my wedding day, I mean it and I have Nancy to thank for that. She executed the day perfectly, and solved small issues before they could ever become big issues. She gave me space to enjoy getting ready and mingle with my guests, but was always at my side in an instant if I needed anything at all. I cannot sing enough high praises about Bumble Bee Occasions. I booked them at the recommendation of a dear friend and bridesmaid, and its the best decision I could have made. If youre like me and thinking you could maybe pull off your wedding without any help, please save yourself the headache. Hire BBO. You will be so glad you did.
We are so grateful for Bumble Bee! My husband and I got married January 19th, 2018 and used B.B. catering/food services. They made our wedding day so easy! Their staff set up the buffet and appetizers which everyone loved. They cleaned up quickly and made sure everyone had enough to drink. They wore a professional matching attire and looked great. Megan made it so easy to pick what we wanted and made sure everything was in order. They are so easy to work with and very flexible! Thank you!
From one bride to another do NOT book with this company.We booked with Bumble Bee Occasions as one of our first vendors. We used them for food, plates, napkins, day of coordinator, décor and music. Our wedding was post ponded on May 2nd 2020 due to Covid-19. Sharon called a few days prior to postponing our wedding demanding payment in full (for a wedding that didn’t take place) saying things like “ we have employs to pay”. I hung up the phone in pure distress. ALL our other vendors went above and beyond to check on us and work with us to reschedule our dream day. After this phone call Sharon sent me an amendment to our contract and request payment in full and for me to sign saying if our wedding was to be postponed again even for covid-19 we would forfeit the whole payment. (let me tell you a lot of $) I would understand if this was our fault, but it was not. She nor BBO would return mine or my moms phone calls or emails. We finally had an attorney get involved and Sharon then agreed to remove the verbiage from the amendment about forfeiting the funds if the wedding was to be canceled due to covid-19.We were finally able to get married on August 8th 2020. My best friends mom had stepped in to oversee everything went smoothly (you know after an attorney gets involved, you never know) and thankful she was there!! Sharon didn’t bring any plants for our cake and told me an hour before the wedding it was my fault and walked off. She told all her staff to not speak to my friends mom who was helping and that she was not allowed to touch anything.Overall BBO and Sharon made my whole wedding experience horrible, stressful and overall sad. Thankfully we had an amazing day filled with our friends and family.
Bumblebee was amazing! They had great ideas through the planning process and kept us on the right track. They had great decor selections, AMAZING FLORAL, were super professional, and their food services were great as well. Sharon was our day of coordinator but Megan would have been great as well. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area!
EXCEPTIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL!!!! My parents celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday, April 8, 2018 with family and 210 friends! The event was spectacular only because Sharon and her staff were so meticulous and thoughtful in the decorating of the venue and meeting the needs of my family. The roses were large and so colorful, and the mashed potato and sweet potato bar are still receiving compliments to this very day!!! The anniversary cake was perfectly elegant, rustic, and so delicious it disappeared as did all the small bite treats. The Waitstaff were WONDERFUL!!! I wish Bumble Bee Occasions much continued success!
I sent in photos of what I was looking for and the day of the wedding my flowers came out to be more than I even imagined. Almost brought a tear to my eye. They were so beautiful I wish I could of kept them forever. I’m doing a floral keepsake thing for them but I know it won’t be the same as the real deal.I would definitely recommend Bumble Bee Occasions!
WOW! That word does not even describe how wonderful, awesome, professional, classy, etc etc etc ... that Bumblebee Occasions is !!! They did a wonderful job with our event tonight at Texas Bank Financial and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone !!! We will certainly be using them again in the future ! Every last detail was well planned and we didn’t have to worry about a thing !! So glad we found them ! Everyone had nothing but rave reviews about the food and presentation! Bumble bee occasions provided exceptional service from our first meeting all the way to the end of our wedding night. They were very responsive to our questions and made sure everything was covered well in advance to provide a stress free wedding day. Megan was a terrific help no matter the problem/question she had the solutions and was always a step ahead. We are very grateful for everything Bumblebee Occasion and Megan did for us in our wedding day.
Very pleased with the overall wedding experience.Staff was friendly and helpful, owner (Sharon) got back to us personally to make sure all went well, and our guests had nice things to say about the cake and floral components.
I got to work with Jerry and Sharon, but mostly Megan, and it was all a dream. We hired them for our florals, catering, cakes, and day-of-coordination.I told them our budget, thinking we would have a bare wedding, and they completely blew me away with what we could do with our pennies.The food (brown-sugar crusted pork tenderloin with a vegetarian option of a stuffed portobello mushroom) was amazing. I even had a last minute increase in guest count, and they were able to accommodate the change. I have received nothing but compliments on the food--and plenty of people who were not vegetarians ordered and enjoyed that option.The florals. Wow. Sharon really took my inspiration pages I gave her (printed photos from Pinterest with notes on what I liked about each photo) and brought my dream to life. She also helped to educate me on resourceful ways to accomplish the look I was wanting.And Megan. Megan worked with me throughout the whole process. She was wonderfully organized and prompt in responding, and flexible with me when Bride Brain set-in. She even listened to me tear up and get off topic when I was stressed. Furthermore, she paid attention to who was important to me during the day of, and ensured they were taken care of as well. I will recommend Megan forever, for I know she did more for me than I will ever know.We also got our cakes through them by way of Sinsational Cakes by Yaya. Again, they perfectly executed my vision for my simple cake and on the day of, it was tasty.This team was wonderful. I was skeptic to have to drive out to Azle for meetings, but looking back, it was the best decision I made. Hire these folks for your wedding and never look back!
They were amazing! As the mother of the bride, the stress before and during the wedding could have been overwhelming. Bumble Bee Occasions took care of everything, and our coordinator the day of the wedding made everything work like clockwork! Love, love, love!
Very nice place and staff. The only reason Im not offering 5 stars is that is not easy to notice their sign (I feel the lettering should be more prominent or a sign should be on the fence) also Im allergic to cats and there was a cat in the office when I arrived, so it made for bad allergies for me.They are great with coordinating, from all I can tell so far, wedding is in October.
Love their lunch specials at Papo Joes. The meat is always tender and full of flavor. Customer service at its best.

The brisket was cooked perfectly I prefer it to be a bit spicier but overall the food is delicious.

2022-03-03Bumble Bee Occasions gave me the wedding of my dreams. From the very beginning, they completely understood my vision and style and made everything come to fruition. Often times our planning meetings would run over because of how great it was to talk to Sharon and Nancy. They welcomed us like family and did their very best to help make financial decisions and give us a day we will never forget. They are trustworthy, professional and so easy to work with. I highly recommend BBO to anyone in the North Texas region. You will not be disappointed.

2021-05-30Sharon and her team at Bumble Bee occasions were AMAZING!I used them for floral, catering (I had breakfast for dinner) and coordination and Im so glad I did! All of my bouquets were gorgeous, my guests LOVED the food, especially the biscuits and sausage gravy, and my wedding day was pretty much stress free all thanks to Nancy! I was planning for an outside ceremony and cocktail hour but unfortunately it ended up raining on my wedding day and Nancy & her team worked so hard to make sure the inside set up was beautiful. The whole day went smoothly and was perfect!

2019-02-28Bumble Bee Occasions helped make our special day the BEST! My husband and I utilized their catering services for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception and we also took advantage of the day of wedding coordinator. The food was all homemade in house, delicious, and they catered to our somewhat picky needs. :) I really dont know what I would have done without Megan who was our day of wedding coordinator. She was so organized and thorough with every little detail leading up to the big day so needless to say the day went smooth as silk. She had the plan down and helped us with the perfect little ceremony details and made sure we threw one heck of a party for all of our loved ones. I highly recommend these guys, not only for the food, but the over all customer service you are guaranteed to receive.

2021-11-22Bumblebee did our florals, linens, food, and coordination for our wedding. It was so easy working with them! They made the planning process stress free and fun. Nancy and Sharon are amazing and could run the world. We did BBQ for our food, and it was a huge hit. The florals ended up better than we even imagined. It was so nice having all of the main vendors under one company. I would recommend anyone planning a wedding to book with them!

Our wedding didnt go to plan but thanks to Nancy, none of our guests knew anything was wrong and everyone enjoyed themselves! 2021-12-01From one bride to another, I do NOT recommend using Bumble Bee Occasions for your wedding. I used BBO for florals, catering, table decor, and coordination - I wish I would have chosen a different vendor.To start, communication is severely lacking. Though the staff is very nice, they can be VERY difficult to reach. When asking Sharon questions I was often met with “we are busy with other events”. They will tell you a date they will get back to you but then never do. I felt like I was having to babysit to make sure they were holding up their end and was always met with excuses.The flowers I had were beautiful but NOTHING like the pictures I had shown the staff, what I had filled out in my questionnaire, nor what was shown to me in person when meeting with BBO. Though the florals were pretty, they were not what we had discussed nor what I had imagined.I had paid for a day of coordinator and this comes with the service of BBO being the point of contact during the last month between all other vendors. BBO did not reach out to my other vendors until 3 days before and sent them the wrong information…Scheduling/organization the day of was awful. Nancy started our ceremony 10 minutes early. I (bride) was in the bathroom and didn’t know where to go, some of our friends didn’t get to witness the ceremony due to the early start, our music was not playing since our DJ thought there was 10 minutes remaining, our guests were not yet seated, and our microphones from our videographer were not yet turned on.Also our bride and groom private dance was cut so to BBO lack of attention. We communicated to BBO several times how important our private last dance was. As soon as our dance started BBO staff lit our guest’s sparklers for our exit. We did not get to do our private dance and had to run out so our sparklers were lit for photos. This is a moment we cannot get back. There were several other moments BBO fell short of our timeline they put together.I messaged Sharon following our wedding and I was met with “We will take this very seriously and get back to you in a few days to discuss this”. 2 weeks later I have still not heard back… once again not following through with communication.All in all, BBO really needs to work on communication, organization, and attention to detail. Though the staff is very nice, there is serious issues with this company compared to others in the wedding business. If I could do it over I would have picked a different vendor.

2019-09-28Megan and Sharon were so fun to work with! Sharon did all of our floral including ceremony and reception flowers while Megan did our day of coordinating. We booked DJ Tandy of DJ Connections through Bumble Bee and we rented our linens and some decor pieces. Megan and Sharon are so sweet and made me feel at ease each step of the wedding planning process. Megan is very knowledgable and responsive so I had absolutely no problem working her on details and her recommendations as I was booking vendors. A month out, I handed my vendor contacts and details to Megan and she handled the executing of the day. She was fantastic throughout the entire process. The day of, she made sure we stayed on schedule and that I had everything I needed. She took the time to make sure I felt comfortable and got to enjoy the day with my husband. We had so much fun at our wedding and it was all thanks to Megans fantastic planning skills.Sharon executed our floral and this was something that was very important to me as I mainly used flowers for decor. She provided a bridal bouquet for my bridal portraits a couple of months before the wedding and while that bouquet did not capture my vision, Sharon did everything to ensure that the day of flowers were exactly what I had in mind. She was very gracious and ensured me everything would be taken care of which she absolutely did. Our guests raved about the flowers at our wedding and my family was so thankful to both her and Megan for their amazing coordinating and execution of our big day!

2020-03-01Where do I even begin! Bumble Bee far exceeded our expectations! Our big day was absolutely perfect thanks to them. We booked them for catering, service staff, linens, and day-of coordination. The food was phenomenal and very affordable. Everyone complemented how delicious it was. The service staff was exceptional- a huge thank you to Stephanie for helping coordinate all of that. They passed around appetizers during the cocktail hour and kept the buffet full and tables cleared. Our reception table set ups were beautiful. Most importantly, I am forever grateful to Nancy for all she did to coordinate our wedding! She far exceeded my expectations for a day-of coordinator. Everything was set up for the wedding while I got ready with my family and bridesmaids. She fixed a minor ceremony set up issue before I even had to mention it and many issues I never even knew about. When I realized we didnt have anyone to cut cake, she volunteered to handle it herself. She kept the timeline (and myself) on track so that I could enjoy my night without having to worry. I seriously cannot thank her enough for all she did to make it the perfect day! Highly recommend them!!

2021-05-24I booked bumble bee occasions for my wedding recently and I have some mixed feelings about the company, we used them for table settings, floral and day of coordination. First of all, all of the staff that we met with were friendly toward us but I did have problems when trying to contact them, our floral was nice but they used a fake flower in my bouquet which was upsetting because it was the flower I was most excited to have in my bouquet. Nancy was great at doing things that we had not thought about prior to wedding day but she was also rude to one of my other vendors.

2019-07-08My husband and I used Bumble Bee Occasions for catering, floral, and cake services. We loved working with them! They helped make the planning process so much easier. Megan was great to work with and was so organized the whole way through. My expectations were surpassed on our wedding day. They are able to work with whatever budget you have. I 100% recommend them.
