Garrett from Caliente Plumbing was friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. He took the time to make sure I understood everything he was going to fix. He also made sure I was comfortable with all info he was explaining. Just all around a wonderful experience! I would recommend Caliente Plumbing to everyone.
My experience with Caliente Plumbing, Heating and Air was very positive. They were very responsive and repaired what ended up being a backed up A/C drain line. Kevin and Roland came out the next day to give me an estimate to install a new Independant drain line and separate the existing drain line from the sink which would help prevent this from happening again. They were were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to explain everything that would need to be done and how it would benefit us going forward. I will definitely be using Caliente for any of my future plumbing, heating and air needs.
Ryan and his team were absolutely exceptional. I had an amazing experience with Caliente. Ive used them in the past for HVAC maintenance and when it came to replace our 12 year water heaters I knew they would be the company I could trust. Not only do they offer fair pricing in a time where not everyone is, they arrive on time, and are super clean. Very responsive and honest. My water heater valve replacement was flawless. Justin is a great guy, professional and on time. I recommend Caliente. Had a subsequent issue with my clothes washer and Garrett was able to diagnose and fix in minutes.
I needed to replace water softener and water heater. Caliente offered nice quote and I took it. The very next day, Justin and Matt were at my home early as scheduled and finished the work on time as promised. Great guys and nice work.
We had a clogged toilet and of course, we have several out-of-town family members arriving later on today, so no pressure, lol. Got to say, its hard to find a plumber on a Saturday but Caliente Plumbing Heating and Air was spot on and responsive. The front desk person that answered our call was very cordial and helpful. They dispatched Joe w/i a couple of hours. Joe was very professional, knowledgeable , friendly and very easy to work with. He cleared the clog thoroughly and made sure the toilet was working properly before departing. Highly recommend these guys!
Kelvin is very professional. He completely seal up condensation on our air conditioner. He called us before coming & kept his appointment on time. He gave us essential info we needed to know regarding what he was going to do to fix it. He was knowledgeable & efficient He did an outstanding awesome job extremely done

We had been looking for a plumber to fix a shower leak. I found Caliente through a Google search and I am so glad I did! Ryan came to our house and found the problem, he was very personable, he answered all our questions and provided us excellent service. Caliente Plumbing was professional, efficient, did an all round great job. They came out on a Saturday night on the Fourth of July weekend , Mike our technician was great. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
The call in people were great. Very nice! But the technician, Joe, lied to me that the part I bought would not work. Then gave me a ridiculous price on a new water heater. And when I asked for him to call me back. He didn’t call me until 3 days later.
(Garage attic spray foam insulation) Everyone was friendly, they took payment 50% upfront and 50% after the job was done. I worked with a guy named Mac who was nice, helpful, and gave me all the info I needed before I even agreed to the quote. Did what they said they would.
Spent 5K+ on a bathroom tub, faucet, sink, toilet install and pipe break in Spring 2021 and cant even get a callback to tell us what model Moen faucet was put in our tub/shower for warranty purposes. When that job was finished, there was another surprise $500+ added on to the original quote. This all occurred after the February 2021 freeze. We provided the vanity with sink, sink faucet & toilet.When Caliente started their business several years ago, they did a great job on our hot water heater, pressure relief valve and dishwasher install with no surprise charges, but now that theyve grown, they forget about you. All we want now is the information on the Moen tub/shower faucet for the warranty but cant get anyone to return our calls.UPDATE: Still not one phone call back as of 6/30

Garret Heard came out on a Friday night to fix a leak and restore water to our house when no one else would. If it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t have water for 3 days. He fixed the leak and cutout and replaced terrible work that was done by the original contractors. 100% would recommend him to anyone.
Great experiance from begining to end, Mr. Ryan A. was top notch, explainig and recommending what needed to be done, in addition they were courteous and professional. Loved that they did all in a timely manner, from the appointment to coming to my house and giving me the options and estimates.
First, they showed up on time. They said they would arrive at 8:00 a.m. and they were here ready to work at that time. The issue was identified, and I was given a detailed description of the problem (without trying to talk over my head by using professional jargon). They showed me the repair cost before they started and gave me a list of packages to decide from. They resolved my plumbing issue in a timely manner and did so with friendly service. I will be using them for all other home repair issues that may arise in the future.
This place does 24/7 emergency calls. I called a few others that stated they did emergency calls and was told they only make appointments 24/7. The technician Kevin was right on time very thorough and explained everything. It’s hard to find excellent service these days so it was very much appreciated 😊
Mike came out to check out a leak and was super knowledgeable and friendly. He communicated every step of the way and I’m very impressed with the company being the first time customer they found a lifetime customer in me. Will definitely use for future reference

Kevin really knocked it out of the park today!! He was timely & explained everything to me in detail. No AC Sunday before 4th of July, house 93*f, not great. Texted the guy who did our water softener work, he got in touch with the office, they had someone around Sunday evening within two hours, problem fixed within one. That speaks for itself.
Another install job by Caliente. Guys are always for respectful and courteous. Feel like a few mistakes were pretty simple ones but system is in and cooling. As always I go to Alex Nelson for my issues and let him guide the repair.
I had a leak happen in a 20yr old house that was unexpected and I was told by a former employee from them to use them and they went above and beyond and I hope to have water back and running soon and removed my old water softener I never used since it had been stagnate for years before me.

Ryan & James came out to fix and replace my water heater in 2019. 2 years later Ryan fixed a leak in my Manifold that another company could not fix. He’s very professional and informative. Rick was the plumber who came out and gave us an estimate for the work we needed done. He found we had a leak under the slab and we would have to re- plumb our entire older home. We got several bids from other reputable companies, but we had used Caliente to install a soft water system several years ago, so we decided to go with Caliente. This job took 3-1/2 days and we couldnt be more pleased with the knowledge and work ethic of Rick and Garrett. This was a major undertaking for us, but Rick was just a gem of a guy. He also installed a comfort level commode in one of our bathrooms, and after we try it out for about a week, well probably have them install two more. Rick said the toilet was circa 1975, so we guss its about time for new ones!! The house was built in 1978, so it was also time to replace the copper pipe for the new stuff that contractors use. We were in good hands with Caliente. Thank you, Rick and Garrett, for taking the time to explain everything to us, for your good work ethic and your knowledge. You both are good people and an asset to your company.

Justin from San Antonio Caliente did an excellent job on replacing my toilet bowl. The customer service was great on keeping me in the loop via text messages as to when he was expected to arrive. They were accommodating of my time and didnt try to up sale me on anything. I didnt really price the service out so I cant comment on that but all in all I would definitely use them again if needed!

I had a leak in my backyard that was pouring water down my street. After calling 10 different companies they were the only ones who could provide immediate assistance. Sunday cost me more but it was money well spent. Justin Adams was extremely professional and addressed all of my concerns. He also called for backup to make sure the job was done right. Our water softener started leaking constantly at the drain pipe and I called Caliente Plumbing. I reached their office on a weekend and left a message. They called first thing Monday morning and had someone out to look at the issue the same day. Ryan came out earlier than expected and diagnosed our issue in a matter of minutes. Ryan is professional and an expert in plumbing. I learned so much about our plumbing system just from speaking with him. I was so pleased with the service from Caliente that I purchased the annual maintenance contract for our HVAC and Plumbing. 5 STARS all the way! Would give them 10 stars if I could.
This morning, a Caliente company truck sped through an active school zone at Eisenhower middle school off Blanco at 8:11am. At Blanco and 410, the truck then cut through two lanes of traffic almost hitting another car to make the 410 on-ramp. There are other poor Google reviews regarding unsafe drivers with Caliente. Driver courtesy needs to be a higher priority for the company.

Called Caliente Hot Water after arriving home to find my water heater control valve had sprung a leak and was spraying the wall of the garage.Ryan Ahnberg arrived and quickly identified the problem, explained what caused it, and quickly began working to fix the problem.Beyond the repair, he provided a ton of information and made everything make sense as far as what led to the failure of the control valve, along with different solutions to address future issues.Caliente Hot Water, responded quickly and was able to take care of my situation within the same hour that I had first contacted them.Other companies, with their claims of being available 24hours, could not schedule a service appointment until Monday (which is 4 days away from when my problem occurred.)I highly recommend this company and hopefully their technicians are as thorough as Ryan Ahnberg.
Justin Adams replaced our water heater valve and our water pressure regulator, and installed convenient shut off handle. He was very courteous, fast and friendly. The repairs werent cheap but I feel like the job was well done.. Will call Caliente for all of our future plumbing needs.

It was time to replace our original water heater that was 10 years old. We wanted a new one to avoid catastrophe if the old one broke down. I called Caliente Plumbing yesterday and within two hours they sent Ryan out to speak with us. Ryan was professional and very helpful throughout the entire process.Ryan guided us in picking out the right water heater for our needs. We never felt pressured. We agreed on a unit and a price. The next morning Ryan arrived right on time and had our new unit installed in two hours. He even swept up the garage after!Throughout the day-and-a-half process, Caliente updated us every step of the way with text messages and e-mails. We have only had the water heater for a couple of hours, but Im confident this new unit will be great. Caliente installed a water heater and softener about a year ago. One weekend, I was without hot water and could not get the pilot light to stay lit. I called Caliente on a Sunday hoping to get service early in the week. Not only did I get a live person, but they dispatched a technician who arrived about an hour later and fixed the issue. A big thanks to Ryan for coming out so fast, and to a company that not only does great work at competitive prices, but stands behind the work and provides great service after the fact. We called on a Friday afternoon when we noticed our water heater was leaking, they had someone at our house within 2 HOURS to assess and give us our options. And to make things even better they came the NEXT morning (Saturday) and replaced our water heater and was completed very quickly. We will only call Caliente when we need work done! Caliente was hot yesterday. Haha! I called Caliente yesterday (05/19/21) and was graciously greeted and scheduled for next day service. Shortly after the initial call, I received a call from Caliente affording me an opportunity for same day service. I quickly said yes, and service began within an hour. Caliente, more specifically, Justin and Bobby, replaced the water heater and the water regulator. Both were professional, courteous and their work was outstanding. They cleaned up once the job was done and left site spotless. Just can’t say enough... Call Caliente and ask for Justin!

Would give 6 Stars if I could. I will start off by saying that Caliente Plumbing Heating and Air is now the one I will turn to for all my plumbing needs. I was having issues with my water heater and called Caliente to schedule a time to have a technician come out. The ease of making the appointment and the amount of time it took to get a technician to the house was outstanding. Ryan showed up to the house, began troubleshooting right away, isolated the probable cause of my issue, then discussed the options to get everything back up and running. You could not ask for somebody more knowledgeable than Ryan. He took the time to discuss all options, the different products available the cost breakdown. Having had a water heater that was 13 years old I decided to go with a total replacement. Ryan showed up two days later as scheduled and with the help of Jared, he installed a new pressure regulator valve, water softener, and water heater in impeccable time. The professionalism and courteous service that Ryan and Jerrod displayed go above and beyond all expectations. Everything was installed to my satisfaction and the area looked even better than before they started. Ryan went though all the operations of both the water softener and the water heater and did not leave until I was completely satisfied. The owner should be completely proud of the people he has working for him. I highly recommend Caliente and if you do choose to go with them for any of your needs, ask for Ryan, you will not go wrong.
We built our home 30 years ago and have replaced our RO (reverse osmosis) system many times. It always took the water a long time to fill up a container, and many times I ran out of water when trying to fill a pot for tea or soup. Ryan from Caliente Hot Water Plumbing replaced the RO system last week. He listened to my complaints and quickly identified the problems. I love my new RO system! The new Caliente Life Water system is much smaller giving me the extra room for a second water storage tank. I now have a -Life time parts and labor warranty- I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing problems.

It took the freeze of 2021 and a frozen, broken pipe for our family to find a premier plumber. Caliente responded quickly to our pipe break, and then followed up downrange by returning to our house and examining our pressure. They discovered our pressure regulator was not where it should be on the house and offered a helpful and reasonably-priced solution. Our technician, Ryan, has been wonderful with his work and his explanation of the service needed at the house. We highly recommend Caliente for your plumbing needs.
EXCELLENT Customer Service, from the first callback which came within 5 minutes of my online inquire. Dispatch called to inform me there was no charge for gracing us with their presence and scheduled an appointment. I received multiple informational emails and texts confirming the appointment, what to expect and then another text telling me the tech was in route. He arrived on time.Jeremy was very personable and professional. We described our issues, no hot water in the shower, and the other challenges we’ve had associated with the deconstruction our water department had been doing in front of our house for the past year. As well as the horrible experience we had with another “recommended” plumber, that broke our water regulator, charged us $450 and left us pretty much in the same state.Jeremy gave us two possible scenarios and came back with a part confirming his suspicion. The easy fix was $150, the other $350. We thought, “we know where this is going….” Jeremy came back shortly and said it’s done. We were Delighted with having a hot shower again and the lower price.Jeremy is such a good person. He did a Great job with our plumbing and even took the time to indulge us in conversations about the world and BBQ. We have since used Calente again. We plan to have them install a new water softener and initiate an AC/water heater maintenance contract. And Jeremys suggestion for my firebox works fantastic.We are very grateful for and Highly Recommend Calente.Mark
Had called another plumbing company at 7 AM and told it would be two days before they could schedule. Call Caliente and they arrived in four hours. Jeremy knew exactly what the issues were and fix the issue. Price was very reasonable and Jeremy shared his knowledge how to prevent this from happening. Will only call Caliente going forward.

They were very professional. I received texts confirming my appointment, sent a picture of the service representative, and let me know when he would be there. He fixed a leak and the pressure valve on the water line to the house and checked out my water softener, which turned out has reached the end of its life. All my options were fully explained and multiple options were provided. I did not feel I was being “sold” on anything. I would highly recommend Caliente if you have a plumbing need.
Ryan is my super plumber ;)! Very diligent . meticulous. honest, and patient and gets to the bottom of the problem;)! Somehow a chicken wire mesh that was placed in the plumbing vent from the top , from the roof area, and somehow it dropped into the pipe and caused water logging and backed up of water in my toilets and bathtubs. I had a plumber to help me solve the problem temporarily but the drain got clogged again. Then I called another plumber , a licensed plumber, who told me that I had a slab leak and very costly to fix that, and showed me the photo with a broken pipe. But when I called Ryan, he checked with his camera and showed me that there was no broken pipe but a chicken wire mesh stuck in the pipe that dropped from the top of the plumbing vent, and he did all and ways and means to slowly push the chicken wire mesh out n pulled it out of the clean out. I had used the other 2 plumber for a few times , but Ryan got it all and really got to the root of the problem! I highly recommend anyone to use Ryan, because he is the real deal and the pro;)!!
They came out same day and gave me a quote which I thought was very high. I let them do the work because I didnt want to wait on someone else. They removed the old water heater and prepared for the new one and had water back on in less than an hour. Then they went and got new one and had it up and running in a couple of hrs.
My technician was Ryan; knowledgeable and let me ask questions as water heaters and plumbing are a foreign language to me. He was on time (8PM) and did a good job (had what he needed on the truck). And, the price was right. Thank you for everything.
Caliente was the only 24-hour plumber of the 7 I called who was able to send someone out tonight, and what a find! Justin was AMAZING, and a fantastic welcome to San Antonio for new residents like us. He came late at night to replace our broken shower cartridge (which had forced us to have the water off for hours), then turned the water main back on (hallelujah—I didnt have to reach into the pit in the dark!). He also instantly diagnosed and fixed two issues in another bathroom, saving us hours of YouTube/DIY anguish. The quoting and payment processes were also super transparent and smooth. The experience could not have been better.

Alex was very helpful in figuring out what was wrong with the AC Unit at my mother in laws house. He checked in on her and even offered to let her borrow a window unit until the repairs could be made later that week. Initially we thought we needed to replace the whole unit but once they realized it was a smaller issue they were honest and informed us that we didnt need a new unit. Had water heater leak! Called Caliente because weve used them before. Ryan showed up early but did let me know he was on his way! He checked out the water heater and gave me an estimate! He went with me to exchange the unit since it was still under warranty. Came back and in no time he and another tech had everything installed and working. They did an excellent job! Everything looks great! Will continue to use Caliente again!
Ryan replaced my water heater and installed a pressure regulator and did a fantastic job! Ryan was very nice, thorough and professional and I am very happy with the installation of both. Water softener started leaking all over garage after freeze. James showed up and fixed it quick. Softener was installed from Caliente in 2016, still under warranty. James is great he has helped us with a few things over the years.

We are on a septic and our toilets were backing up. They came out on a Saturday and found the problem. Fixed and then put a camera down to see what was going on. Found our we had a collapsed fitting :( They came back Monday mornings and were able to trace where the damaged fitting was. Thank goodness it was outside. They took photos and sent me documentation of everything so I would know what happened. They were able to fix the same day. Will definitely use them again for all my plumbing needs. Had a hot water heater problem that the tech was able to discern and fix within about a 2-3 hour period. Very impressive. He then, of course, tried to up sell us on a product that would prevent future breakdowns like this one (it was only $2k as opposed to $200 to just fix it lol) but we do not plan to live in this home forever. So the fix was a good solution for us at a competitive price. Would recommend these guys in any hot water heater situation. Punctual, professional and comparably priced.

Purchased a new Rheem water heater from Caliente Hot water and Ryan installed it today. The 10 year warranty on labor, parts and the water heater is a plus! I called Caliente on a Saturday afternoon; they had a tech come out the next morning to address my concerns with my water heater. Their tech named James was very knowledgeable and efficient. His demeanor was refreshing, no pushy sales, or scare tactics, just honest down to earth good service. Caliente was well worth the call, there service, prices and warranties are much better than many of the big-name competitors. I’m completely satisfied, and I have peace of mind, give them a call you won’t be disappointed.
They charged a flat $1299 to install a water heater under warranty. 2 hours worth of work. there are tons of other companies that are more reasonable. never using them again.

Ryan was the service technician...upon arrival he was courteous and helpful - we settled on the water heater of choice and he got right to it without hesitation. From inception to the completion of the replacement of my water heater the entire Caliente Hot Water team delivered as promised. I met with Rick, the owner, who quickly assessed my problem and Ryan who perform the installation. The first time we had a consultation with Ryan. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Turns out that our water heater was fairly old and had shut off at the breaker causing us to lose our hot water. When we called to have our heater replaced at the owners request, Ryan came out the second time as well, replaced our unit and did an excellent job. I don’t know where to begin expressing my gratitude for Arlene, Jeremy and James. Our home was struck by lightening yesterday evening, which resulted in our hot water heater catching fire in the garage. We researched plumbers on Google and after calling a few who were unable to come same-day, Caliente had an opening, and 4.9 star ratings, to boot! Arlene (dispatcher) was incredibly sweet and said she would get someone over here by 3pm. She called us back at 1:40 saying Jeremy was on his way, early. Jeremy and James assessed the damage done, and quashed our fears about gas hot water heaters- renewing our faith in them all over again, promising they would make it right, plus guarantee their work and the unit for the next 10 years. Their knowledge, combined with their out of this world customer service was just mind blowing. (Pun intended 🤣)These guys are so amazingly professional, personable, knowledgeable and funny. Wow! 5 stars all around!!! Called and within a few hours Justin was on site to diagnose an over working A/C. From the first phone call with Arlene to when the job was complete I could not have asked for better communication during this stressful process. Both put my mind at ease that I would be taken care of safely and efficiently. After Justin overlooked the issue, he discussed with me what he had found but explained it in terms that i understood. We now have a house the is cooling instead of playing catch up in this Texas heat which should tremendously help utility bill, and also a long term plan for lasting... more efficient options that were surprisingly a lot more affordable than anticipated. This was company made an anxious family’s dilemma into a surprisingly pleasant experience. I hope not to be calling anytime soon, but I won’t be afraid to have Justin or his company, which happens to service Plumbing as well, back into my home whenever needed! We just had our water softener replaced by Ryan with Caliente Hot Water. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and efficient. He showed up on time and was able to remove our old softener and install the new one in no time! He walked me through the process of adding salt and how to program the water softener if we ever had a power outage. We’re looking forward not to have rings in our toilet or hard water spots in our sinks and shower floors. We would highly recommend Ryan and Caliente Hot Water.
A customer is always satisfied when a job goes as planned, but what really sets a company apart when something is not perfect and how a company handles the issue with the customer. I called Caliente to replace my Culligan water softener that had failed for the 3rd time. Caliente dispatched James as my plumber. James arrived at my house 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and was wearing PPE. James asked me a few questions to assess my water softener needs and we decided a mid-sized system would be the best sized system. A few minutes later James knocked on my door. James had the water softener back wash valve in his hand. He pointed out that he analyzes all parts before installation and noticed a small defect in the valve mold. James stated that this defect probably wouldn’t affect performance or cause a leak, but it was not perfect and he would have to go and get a replacement. The fact James didn’t try to cut a corner greatly impressed me and was very apologetic for my inconvenience. I have dealt with many trades who have cut corners, so this integrity was impressive.After much research I discovered that Caliente offers a quality product for a very reasonable price. (I paid a lot less for this system compared to my old Culligan). Caliente warrantying their water softeners (parts and labor) for 12 years is simply amazing. So far I am very happy with my new softener and impressed with Caliente’s overall service to the customer.

Caliente completed an outstanding job in repairing a broken pipe due to recent hard freeze in February 2021. This company has installed water heater, water softener, shower diverter, AC Heat pump.underground broken pipe, and now with our horrible “ winter storm” pipes broke in ceiling of my kitchen. Looked like “Niagara Falls” coming out of ceiling, of course the ceiling came down. Saturday morning and no hot water due to a leak that started in the tank. Called Caliente and said a technician would be here around 4:00. Joe arrived at 2:30. Assessed the situation and by 6:00 we had a new hot water heater and hot water to shower 7 kiddos. Wow and thank you Joe!!
After having another company fail to replace my water heater (and they didnt tell me that simply replacing would not put my water heater up to code), Ryan came out - simply explained what would need to do and showed me pictures of everything. Ricks schedule was booked until next week, but he and his assistant came out on Wednesday evening and did a repair on our hot water heater. He did the repair quickly and didnt charge us more for coming out after hours. He was also very responsive to texts.

I would like to share my experience with Caliente Plumbing. We had Ryan Ahnberg he was polite showed up at his stated time and was very informative about out plumbing needs. We have Choice Warranty who denied our claim because they said the pipe was corroded which in fact it was not corroded after closer inspection from Caliente Plumbing. Ryan gave us the option to come back after hours to fix our wall leak, which gave us piece of mind and helped saved our hardwood flooring. He gave us a discount for being retired military. He insured us that he would not leave until the job was to our satisfaction. We where very happy with the finished product and will use them again and tell all out friends about what wonderful service Caliente Plumbing provided.

Ryan from Caliente installed a new 50g natural gas water heater for our house in the garage today. He was so friendly and answered all my questions. The installation is quick and he explained the basic maintenance steps and guided me through it. We had a water softener leak in the yard & call Caliente for repair. Our technician Jeremy Bogue was on time and very down to earth. He explained the repairs and what it entailed. When the repairs were completed, he even took the time to roll up our water hose & hooked it back up on the rack. Meant alot to us because we’ve had repairs from other companies & they’ve left a mess. I recommend them & they are permanent part of our repair team!

Bobby was very patient took the time possible to properly install the gas line for the stove made sure everything was put back in place and all the burners operated

Scheduled appointment for water heater install. This business called me the day before the appointment to tell me they were down one plumber on the appointment date. When I called to make the appointment I was told that they cannot give me a quote over the phone ( hence the reason for the appointment ). When the lady told me they couldnt honor the appointment she started quoting the minimum pricing to install water heaters ( seemingly trying to discourage me from making another appointment) while asking if I wanted to reschedule? Very unprofessional and a big waste of my time.
Super fast response! Called at 10am, had a technician out by 1pm and a replacement water heater installed by 3:30pm!! Technician was fast, efficient, and did an excellent job communicating the process. Would 100% recommend Caliente!!

They came recommended by several different families in my area.I had 3 different companies come and offer me a quote for my water heater and softer...and the Caliente team was not able to give me an accurate assessment, but they were able to do the work fast and for a reasonable price.I highly recommend Caliente Hot Water for those of you who need these type of services.
My water heater stopped working since last night. I called this morning and Ryan came out in a hour and answered my questions very patiently. My water heater was made in 2003 and it is a right time to get a new one. He installed a new one this afternoon. He is professional and kind. I am very satisfied with his service.

Although I have a warranty on my home, they warranty company couldn’t get anyone out here to help with my leaking water heater until next week! The day before New Years Eve our hot water heater went out. Contacted Caliente via internet and was called right away. Jose arrived early and went right to work installing our new water heater, explaining everything he did, and answering all our questions. He is very knowledgeable and professional.

I had a water heater and water softener problem. I neede a fast repair and it was Saturday. Looked up Caliente on Home Advisor and put in my request, not expecting much. Rick called me, came out quickly, told me what I needed, gave me a fair price. He replaced both right away. I really liked Rick. He seemed honest and fair!
Ryan came out this afternoon and replaced our water heater. He was polite, knowledgeable and worked fast. We just moved to Leon Springs and this is the first plumber weve used here. I had a leaking hot water heater and Rick came out to check it. Turns out I needed a new system, and he helped stop the leak until I had time to schedule the replacement. They came out early the next day and replaced my system and a few other plumbing issues quickly and professionally. Will be recommending to anyone who has any plumbing needs.
I highly recommend using Caliente plumbing. James is helping us with a major remodel of our home after 2 plumbing leaks inside the walls. Work so far has included pipe repairs inside the walls, replacement of new valves and bath fixtures, adding a propane line to a new gas stove and installation of whole house instant hot water system. Work is ongoing so more from me later.
Rick was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure our water softener worked right since the piping in the walls was all screwy. He fixed everything quickly and with care. He had to cut a hole in our wall to get to the pipes that needed fixed and he did it with great care so that when he was done he stuck the piece back in the wall and it was easy to just tape and repaint. I recommend him to everyone!
Found Caliente Hot Water through Angies list. They contacted me quickly and scheduled a visit. My water heater was out. Ryan came over and checked water heater and went over the new code requirements. My wife and I also wanted a quote for installing a new water softner system. Again Ryan went over all the requirements. We had a couple other estimates and Calientes estimate was the lowest and the warranties were the best. Ryan and co-worker worked hard and installed a new reverse osmosis system at kitchen sink, new water softner system in garage including the new loop outside, and the new water heater all in one day. Great job done. The overall price was affordable. I will recommend Caliente Hot Water to family and friends.
So happy with Caliente Hot Water! We were going to have them install a GE water softener we had bought from Home Depot. The day they were going to come we realized that it was cracked in shipping. I called Caliente and they were able to install one of their the same day. They took the time to explain the differences and gave us a 10 year parts and labor warranty. Love how quick they were! Outstanding service is not high enough. I found water heater leaking at 1:00pm, looked on Angie’s list and ratings were top notch. I called and at 4:00pm I had a new 10yr warranty water heater installed, working, tested, cleaned up, and driver leaving. It gets no better than that.
Our 20 year old hot water heater started leaking. We called a number of places but chose Caliente. They sent Ryan out right away, he was knowledgeable, replaced the heater quickly and the price was right. I would definitely recommend Caliente.
Caliente worked around a difficult 3rd party vendor situation to repair multiple issues in a professional manner. They have a small core of quality staffers who work tirelessly to settle customer issues.
Ricks consultation was amazing! He was quick and efficient, was straight up with no nonsense, and was fairly priced. He also suggested the easiest way to remove/replace and reinstall my water heater, to move it from the second floor to the garage. 2022-06-26I called Caliente to see about having my washing machine shut off valves replaced (not urgent) and Garret was able to come out to assess and provide an estimate within a day. Garret quoted me a fair price for the job, which I was extremely grateful for. He was courteous, professional, and did an excellent job changing out the valves and hoses. Now the water is flowing freely in the washing machine, as it should be! I highly recommend giving Caliente a shout and asking for Garret for your next plumbing need.

2022-02-19Garrett came out a week ago, installed new water heater. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. A real people person. I’m very happy with the quality of work that he preformed, All in all I would recommend this company. I really hope Garrett gets the appreciation he deserves, employees like him are rare to find these days! If I need there services again I will definitely ask for him!

2022-05-20Very impressed with the service provided. We had several companies come out and your representative Kevin Edward(motorcycle guy) gave us the best review and explanation of our problem. The speed to get us taken care of was amazing. Jackson Sedlak and Chris worked hard for two days. These two were very professional and respectful of being in our home. Then the master AC guy Gary Freeman checked their work and made minor changes. In all we were extremely satisfied with the work and even signed on with their maintenance program. Thank you thank you.

2022-05-27Had a non emergency leak under kitchen sink. Garret was here within 3 hours from my call. He diagnosed the issue as being a simple fix (reconnect a clip that the sprayer hose has popped off ) and *only charged me the servic call fee, which is a very reasonable $24.50. Others in the area charge $89 service fees--another indication of how reasonable Caliente is.Thats honesty and integrity, folks. In addition, Garret has a great sense of humor. Caliente will have my business in the future, this was a very impressive first impression.

2021-09-22Had a great experience working with Jeremy from CALIENTE Plumbing Heating & Air. Jeremy cleared a toilet drain for me, then took the time to help me select and purchase a new toilet (that he then installed). Additionally he replaced the hot/cold water shutoffs on a downstairs bathroom, and then replaced the vanity with an updated unit. Jeremy also took the time to explain in detail the work that he was doing, and why! A great overall experience, and the work was very reasonably priced. As a side-note, CALIENTE Plumbing Heating & Air contacted me from Angi’s list from San-Antonio, but they obviously have a presence in DFW (I live in Little Elm).

2022-06-11Garrett was great to work with... was considerate, very professional and did work above and beyond an already big job. Considering the amount of work that was necessary with a toilet back flowing into the shower (yuck), he completed the work in far less time than I would have expected. Communication about what to watch for and do going forward was very helpful. I would highly recommend requesting him and this company for any job.
