AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!The world is currently experiencing a pandemic that will change our lives forever. Furthermore, we need businesses who understand that kindness and customer service are even more imperative than it was prior to the crisis. Camden Addison provided me personalized service and listened to my individual needs. I wasnt seen as just a potential resident. Camden Addison agent Ana and her manager there provided top level customer service. Ana saw me as a person...not a number. She answered all my questions and followed up when she said she would. I was amazed by how kind Ana was and was shocked at her high level of customer service. She genuinely cares about every resident. Moreover, the management team also hold themselves to the same high standard as Ana. Other apartment leasing centers should duplicate the same positive behavior that I experienced with Ana and her leadership team. Im currently in my new Camden apartment and I love it. Go see them and ask for Ana!!!
My wife and I love living at Camden Addison. We have lived here since November and, as always, it’s the staff that make the difference. The Assistant Manager, Gayle has taken great care of us. She always remembers our little pug’s name and has a treat ready for her. In May we moved from an apartment to a townhouse and we absolutely love it. When we first toured it, they even replaced the washing machine with a brand new machine right before we moved in! The front office staff always have a smile and are willing to help us with whatever we need. The maintenance team always helps us quickly with any issues with little delays. Since they are limited in being able to enter the unit right now due to Covid, for simple items I just let them know what I need and they supply it so I can handle things I’m capable of myself. The gym is just right and the pool is beautiful and functional with plenty of space for a cookout or just lounging around in the evenings. We have immediate access to North Addison Park, too and we go for walks there frequently.I highly recommend Camden Addison and its team. People make decisions based on the people they deal with and the people here are wonderful! Thanks, Camden team.
Its a nice cozy apartment complex. My fiance and I feel safe here. The leasing staff is great. Larissa has been very nice and helpful. The maintenance staff is top notch, they have made some same day repairs and I have only experienced a good work ethic and attitude. I would recommend Camden Addison to others. The only downside is we live next to many Toll roads. The upside is there is less traffic and it is easy to get to places. The apt is conveniently located next to may places to eat, highways and other businesses you will need.
Hi Nick & Gayle,I wish I was better at writing….. but here I go……..For the past (almost) 2 years I have lived in Camden Addison during the week to be close to my job. I spent 2 hours Friday afternoons driving back to my home at Cedar Creek Lake in Gun Barrel City, TX to spend time with my husband and family. I thought this would be really hard on me and my husband of 37 years…… But Camden made us feel at home right out of the gate.I want to express to you how much we have enjoyed living in the Camden Addison apartment complex. I’ve lived in several complexes, none of them even coming close to the resident services you provide. Gayle and the entire staff wow me daily. Work orders are turned around quickly and always with a smile. The property is maintained beautifully. But most of all………Gayle Davis has been a God Wink to Camden. I can call or email her anytime and never once does she not have the answer to your questions. She has the gift to make everyone feel special and as if they are the only resident she has to take care of, I hope you truly treasure that, it isn’t easy to find those traits these days. Gayle is always upbeat, excited to assist you, and always follows through on her commitments. Gayle makes everyone feel like family at Camden. We are sad to be leaving, and will miss all the wonderful people at Camden.Kind Regards,Sheila Guyer
Ive lived at Camden Addison for about 6 months now and I love it. My apartment is decently priced for its size and I love the built in bookshelves. Leasing office staff is always friendly and prompt to respond to my e-mails and concerns. Ive interacted quite often with maintenance staff and they are beyond friendly and helpful. Maintenance request are completed in a timely manner and when they lapse a bit a simple e-mail is all it takes and Im provided with an update. The property is very quite which I love, and aside from pet owners who refuse to pick up after their dogs, very clean and well kept.
Know people who live here. Place is ridden with crime. They get an email every other week talking about habitat break ins and car break ins. Even had a car stolen not but last week. They need to stop worrying about making it a non smoking community and start focusing on security. Ive lived in the area for 5 years and this is the most crime Ive heard of. Place is a cesspool.
Cant say enough good things about my 1.5 years at Camden Addison, it could quite possibly be the best apartment Ive ever experienced. Stayed with a roommate and his girlfriend in a town home unit, I cant recommend this enough. It is so quiet and peaceful (never really heard neighbors at all which is crazy) and more than enough room for 3. Didnt have a reserved parking spot and never once struggled to find parking close to my unit. The property itself is located close to grocery stores, fast food and many other convenient shops. It is also tucked away from the main roads so it is super quiet and safe. Not to mention you can be a member of the Addison Gym/Club, which is actually quite nice.Stayed in a unit that has a view of the walking trail, it was perfect. Ive never had a single complaint about the unit itself. Never saw a single bug (outside of lady bugs, which I didnt mind), very few issues with the appliances, everything worked the way it was supposed to. Stayed warm in the winter and cool in the summer.I cannot overstate this enough: THANK YOU MAINTENANCE CREW. Definitely the best service Ive ever experienced, the office processes your request and same day it was fixed before I got home from work. Amazing. Beatriz helped us all the way through our lease and answered every question promptly, I appreciate that. All in all it is sad to leave this community but I would recommend staying here to friends and family.
Honestly, this place is a very nice place to live. Everyone is great from the maintenance team up to Gayle in the front office! The downside is the parking situation. Apparently Camden’s corporate team decided that having tow trucks “after hours” is not a necessity-so now all residents (who don’t have a garage) have to find parking wherever they can, and it’s probably not going to be close to the building you live in.
We were so please with our experience with Anna Dorley. Anna was very professional at all times. She was so helpful in providing additional help regarding the location, restaurants, shops and so much more. She made our transition so easy. She gave us step by step support. She didn’t just tell us what to do she show us. Kudos to Anna for doing an outstanding job and providing EXCEPTIONAL customer service.
Courtney has always been very helpful throughout my time here. She was who I initially worked with when looking to move in. She reached out and helped me set up an appointment for a tour. She was very polite and friendly to myself and my family during the tour. She helped me stay on top of everything in the weeks leading us to moving in.All in all, I dont know if I would have made the decision to move to Camden Addison without the good impression I got from Courtney and her professionalism. We have lived here since June and are enjoying it very much.
I enjoyed my time at Camden Addison. During my year there , I never dealt with a break-in, any rude neighbors or anything bad in particular. Staff was ALWAYS wonderful, especially Gayle. They maintenance team was exceptional as well. I always say no apartment complex is perfect but Camden did a wonderful job for the time I was there
I’ve lived at Camden Addison for almost a year now and I absolutely love it! The staff is so friendly and the maintenance team here always completes our service requests that day. The events the hold here are so thoughtful and fun. As a Camden employee at a different community, I strive to be as helpful and caring to my residents as the Camden Addison team is to us here. Lastly, nothing beats having a town home like apartment but still having an amazing life night, shopping, and eateries just down the street!
I have been here at Camden Addison over a year, and has been one of the greatest experiences I’ve had in an apartment community thus far. The gym is good size and has good variety of machines and free weights. During the summer time both their pools are a good size to cool off and not feel smothered . The The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would also like to mention that the maintenance team is prompt in finishing service requests and do a great job with the upkeep in the community. I would definitely recommend Camden Addison to anyone who is looking to lease in the area; great location (pretty much, this area has everything you could possibly need or want nearby).
Camden Addison was our 3rd Camden property to live on. I cannot say enough good things about living there. Gayle L helped on so many occasions and Im so thankful to now call Gayle L my friend for life. If they had a 3 bedroom I told Gayle L i would not be relocating to another property. If you are looking for a great property to call home please consider this one. Not only is Gayle L amazing in he office but they have a wonderful maintenance staff as well. When I decide to downsize I will be back.
Ive lived at Camden Addison for about a year and a half now. The grounds are always kept clean, there is plenty of waste disposal options for your pet waste. You always seem the office staff on property with a smile on their face and they typically wave at you. Ive had a really great experience with multiple staff members but would like to specifically recognize Courtney Heflin, Bill their maintenance supervisor, Cesar, and Gayle L. Every encounter with them has been great, Courtney and Gayle always have me laughing when I come into the office and I always leave with a smile on my face. Everytime I see them out on the property I get a big wave and a smile. Anytime I have had issues with my apartment they respond quickly and actually get the job done. Ive had no pest issues and havent even seen a spider during my stay here. I will definitely be renewing when my lease expires here soon. Management is thorough and handles things efficiently. They have some wonderful amenities including two pools, volleyball court, and a walking trail. Out of all the apartments Ive stayed at over my many years this is by far the best experience Ive had. I would just like to say thank you again to all, and I highly recommend. Courtney youre the best and I always enjoy speaking with you unlike other communities where Ive tried to avoid office staff. MOVE HERE, you wont regret it. Also, I see parking complaints, you live in an apartment, sometimes parking can be tight. What do you expect? They have reserved spots now, and have carports so there is a solution. Its just if youre willing to pay for it if you dont want to walk a little distance if you get in late. I personally dont mind but if I did I would spend the money to fix my problem. Thanks again Camden Addison.
We just moved in to Camden and love it! This definitely feels like home to us. Since we contacted Camden they have been so helpful. We truly have never felt this appreciated. Beatriz has been amazing and has been a huge help to us since we moved. Overall this is a great place with great staff and we are so happy to be apart of the Camden community.
I have been at Camden Addison for a little over a year now and really enjoy it here. My leasing agent Courtney has been nothing but Amazing! She greets me by name when I enter the office and is always patient with me and all my questions. The maintenance staff is very friendly and keeps things rolling smoothly and clean. The staff is pretty quick to get things done for any request and always smiling. If you are looking for somewhere clean, safe, and pet friendly, this is the place to be! ~CNedra~
The staff at Camden Addison is absolutely fabulous! Everyone has been helpful and friendly every time I have a service request or go into the office. I love my apartment. I feel like I am living in a townhome. The amenities and events are great. I could not imagine living in any other apartment community! I highly recommend Camden Addison!
I would not suggest moving into this complex. Since they’ve changed to this Chirp system I have been locked out of my apartment 3 times. I never had that problem when I had my key. This time I have to wait 20 mins for someone to let me into my apartment in 87degree Texas heat. My groceries have spoiled and melted and they keep acting like everything is completely okay. Would not recommend.
Gayle has always been awesome to work with ! I’ve worked for Camden Addison property for about 3 years now and gayle has always greeted me with a smile ! She’s a very understanding person & Has always showed good customer service not only to me but customers that walk in. Thank you gayle !
Ive rented from Camden twice, once when I lived in Plano and currently in Addison. They were my first choice when moving back to Texas as I had such great service from them and knew I would have the amazing service and experience at Camden Addison. The leading process was smooth as everything was done online. Once I was approved, their leasing agent contacted me and made sure I was ready for my move in day.9 months later, Im still happy living here and every interaction with the staff is great. They reply promptly via email although via phone is kind of a hassle as you cant speak directly with someone without leaving a voicemail and them returning your call, but email works for me. Their office hours are opened late so people who work can get in contact with the staff, which is great!Maintenance is top notch and respond ASAP. The grounds are well kept and clean, minus the rude residents who refuse to pick up after their dog.The units are sound proof enough where you can barely hear your neighbors unless theyre blaring loud music or TV but those cases are rare.
I have lived here since January 2014 and have loved it! The office staff is so nice and are always there to help me with anything I need. The maintenance staff is also very courteous and resolves any issues that come up very quickly!I live in a two bedroom home with an attached garage and the storage is incredible. The closets are huge and there are also two linen closets, not to mention the storage space in the garage itself. Appliances are updated as well as the cabinets and counter tops. It was so nice finding a place that was updated for an affordable price. The location is also great. You are so close to everything you need but not congested in a cramped city environment. The is so much shopping and dining in Addison so you never run out of things to do or places to eat. Since you are an Addison resident you also get to join the Addison Athletic Club for only $10/year. Theres racquetball courts, lap pools, basketball courts, tennis courts, and new workout equipment. Lets just say its definitely worth $10.If you are looking for a great place to live, Camden Addison is it! I have lived at a few Camden communities and I can honestly say that once you live and experience a Camden, you wont want to go anywhere else!
Jeanette is the best leasing agent ever. When we were interested in different layouts she sent us weekly summaries of what was available and helped us grab the perfect lease! Theyre pretty transparent about all the optional costs you can add, including reserved parking. Though sometimes at night the regular spots are full, the visitors spots are literally adjacent/10 feet away from any given building, so really not a big deal. Also, maintenance staff is incredibly quick.
In all the aspects I have rated Camden Addison as 5 start ! We have stayed in the apartment for more than 2 and half years and I had no complains what so ever .The apartment community is well maintained. The maintenance staffs are very friendly and take care of the service requests very promptly. They have good pest control and garbage system. We enjoyed staying there , the pool , the bbqs , the gym and the walking trails everything is well maintained . The community is beautifully landscaped which will make you feel fresh everytime you go for a walk .We were a happy Camden tennats . And I know readers may think I am biased , but we really loved the community and the people .We had to move out due to change of work place, if not we wud have loved to continue there .When we moved out ,the entire staff helped out tremendously, going way above and beyond any standards of expectations that may be laid on them for their role, specially Gayle Davis -she is a wonderfull people’s person . She helped us with all the formalities and explained the charges . While moving out many apartments do charge a bomb for cleaning , but frankly speaking Camden did not. They charged us according to what they mentioned in the lease pappers . We would definatly miss staying there .
Id give maintenance 5 stars and then this property/staff 0 stars. The grounds smell rancid. Parking is an absolute nightmare. Kids screaming all hours of the day, especially in the summer when theyre home all day and their parents leave them at the pool to fend for themselves. So happy to be out of here. I even got out before my lease ended by transferring to another Camden property that is already 100x better than Addison. I would get calls from Gayle in the office that my dog still hasnt shut up and everyone is complaining when I dont even have a dog. It was someone on the other side of the building who left their German Shepherd on the balcony and it was barking for 6 solid hours. She called me and started ranting before I could even tell her I didnt have a dog. The entire time I lived here I couldnt let anything touch the floor because even after having my apartment cleaned by a professional there was black curly hair on anything that touched the floor. I have blonde straight hair. Of course I got charged for carpet cleaning when I moved out...even when there is already a $90 cleaning fee built into the lease that I was already aware of. So receiving an additional bill for cleaning carpet that should have been replaced before I even moved in was an absolute joke. When I called the office to talk about this I asked if anyone with the staff walks along with these carpet cleaners because she said they also charged for a pet treatment when I dont even have a pet...further validating my assumption that the carpet cleaning company they use just takes advantage of the fact that theyre an apartment complex and it will be paid no matter what because Im not letting a small charge get sent to collections. Anything to make a buck, I swear. Not the worst apartment Ive ever lived in, but everything is cheap and old and you can find a lot more places to live that are newer and better for the same amount of money. Wouldnt recommend.
I cant say enough amazing things about the management at Camden Addison! They are an apartment complex that truly cares about their residents and has been such a pleasure to work with. The apartments are beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the amenities cant be beat! 5/5 stars and make sure to talk to Gayle Davis if you need anything!
This review is primarily targeted to tell the future residents pros and cons of this community.Let me start on a good note, Pros :1) The apartment which I lived in is a 2 bedroom, very spacious apartment.2) The monthly-rent/sq. ft value is very cheap compared to the apartments in vicinity.3) Kitchen appliances are of a good quality.4) They include washer and dryer services.5) Technology pack has wifi included which is pretty good and never we had to complain Spectrum regarding it.6) Online application is easy to pay rent and open up a service request.7) Trash pick-up services is on time and decent enough. Now the bad part, cons :1) We have lived 2.5 years at this community and opened a service requests upwards of 20+ times mainly due to AC/Heater problems and plumbing issues.2) Staff in the leasing office is not the best, once they earned your business to rent, you are not as much worth to them.3) Cleanliness around the property is decent, could be better.4) Break ins into the cars around the property is quite frequent and the main automated gates of the community are frequently broken and hence kept open.5) Parking is a challenge in the open spaces allocated to all the residents. If you come back after 9PM on a weekday, best of luck.6) We are about to move out of the community and the 60 period is extremely strict, more so they want to make the most out of us since we are moving out. Please read the leasing documents carefully before signing it or else it will be thrown to your face all the time.7) Once an unknown person was added to our lease agreement without our intervention, management didnt even apologize.I am not too happy or sad living at this community. This was my experience all these years.
I had the pleasure of staying at camden Addison for a month while I visited my daughter and it was an amazing experience. The whole office staff was extremely friendly and always had a smile on their face. They were very attentive and always greeted me when I came in. Im very grateful to know that my daughter lives in such a lovely place that truly cares about their residents. If you are looking for a place that is clean, affordable, safe and that will truly will go above and beyond to help their residents then you should definitely move here.
Hi !! I’ve been residing in this beautiful community named Camden Addison for more than five years, I love to stay here because of the cool and clean atmosphere. People around here are so friendly, month to month small free get to gather at office makes the neighbor more closer. And a special attention of the staff Ms Gayle who is serving the community from more than five years is amazing. I don’t have words to say a big thanks to her. She is very professional, keen to work hard, takin extra care for the residents services by phone is fabulous.(I’m surprise how could see remember the name on the phone 👏👏) May Jesus bless her today and always. She was the first person who warmly welcomed me on day 1, five years ago.also I have a request to the management to make some more parking space or make arrangements to tow the unauthorized vehicles in the complex.
Gayle Davis at the Addison location was a complete joy to work with. We felt at ease the minute we met her. We were downsizing and preparing to retire in a 36 months. She made our transition so easy and worry free. We are retired and have left the area, but we will always remember her kindness and the quality service we revived from Gayle we will truly miss her beautiful smile. Bruce and Kathy Pauley
We lived here for almost four years. During that time we had some issues arise, but the maintenance team and management team made every attempt to rectify the issues. We recently moved out and left the apartment in a clean state. Our walkthrough transfer went well, with no recorded issues or repairs. I’m confident that our apartment did not require any excess cleaning beyond the included cleaning fee items listed on our lease. I literally have OCD when it comes to being clean so I know it was immaculate. Gayle L. was truly helpful during our stay at Camden Addison.
If you are looking for an apartment with a neighborhood townhome feel, you need to come to Camden Addison! Ive lived here for 4 years and really enjoy the area and the beautiful park next door. Im less than 3 miles to all the great restaurants and night life on Belt Line Rd in N. Dallas, have utilized DART, (a bus stop is right in front of the complex), and have been spoiled by the staffs concierge-type customer service. Ive compared it to new and existing properties and have yet to find anything better.
Ive been here at the Camden Addison for 4 years and the community and staff has ALWAYS been respectful, caring and helpful. The maintenance crew always have been 10 in my eyes as well. The only bad thing I have to say about the Camden is rate/rental prices. I totally disagree with the technology packet that jacked the pricing up. Didnt want it at all. Every year my rent has gone up $100. In addition, I have not seen so many vacant apartments here on the property than ever before. Unfortunately this is my last year at the Camden because of the continuous hike on the rent.
This is one of the best properties in Addison and gets hell lot of people everyday checking out apartments to lease. Units used to go fastwhen I moved in (I recommend some of my work colleagues and they rented here). It seems management is getting carried away with the demand and not focusing on getting apartments maintained. There have been many cases including mine where there were major problems in the unit and they were ignored and put on market.I was even refused entry in to the unit before my move in, else I would have caught the damaged subfloor. To top it I was bullied that I am causing too much noise walking on the broken subfloor. Can’t top that Now with all the car break ins and mailbox break ins (That’s something new), it’s getting bad to worse.Management need to realize that they have a good property, but they can’t keep getting business (not for long) if they don’t maintain units or there are lapses on security measures. Also, there should try to value their current residents. They are the ones who get you business based on how they perceive your services. This is totally lacking. Some of the big mouthed staff will shoot people down when they come with genuine concerns.I am forced to leave a Camden property (due to all the above reasons), after being loyal to the brand for a while in two different cities.
This community has had over 3 or 4 break ins since i’ve been there (not even a month). Someone attempted to enter my apartment and I have to move out for trying to defend myself. Today I received an email saying TEN mailboxes were broken into. No security has been enforced…not even cameras. I don’t recommend anyone to move here!
The staff @Camden Addison are all extremely pleasant and helpful. I want to appreciate Gayle L as someone who we feel goes far and beyond of expectations. Always ready and willing to help. Not to be out done the staff in general are all extremely nice people. Thanks for all you do in making our stay here as pleasurable as it can be.
If you are thinking about moving here I highly suggest it! Beatriz is the go to person over here and she will 100% make your moving experience worth it! Also there are tons of amenities that Camden has to offer and Beatriz is just one of those many! The people who live here are great and with it being so close to Legacy hall as well as downtown Addison I dont know why you wouldnt want to move here. Drop by at any time and talk to Beatriz you wont be disappointed!
I have lived here for 15 months with very few minor issues. All issues I had with this complex were things in my apartment just breaking down but the customer service was great and the repair men were always dependable. No problem was ignored and they were all fixed with speed and accuracy. When my lease was up Community Manager Dolores Maldonado was there to help in every way to keep me on a few more months before I was ready to move out. If you are looking for a good apartment complex you found one and if you need help figuring that out for sure in the office, Id tell you, Talk to Dolores, she was just as understanding as she was helpful.
I have been working with Camden communities as a vendor for over 8 years and haven’t met more professional group of people. They care about their communities and it shows because of hard work, good customer service and capital investments they put in their properties every year.I would definitely recommend anyone, a future tenant or a vendor to Camden properties
There is currently water damage in my apartment that has yet to be fixed.(6/1) I submitted a request to have my leaking AC unit fixed after noticing water on the floor and smelling a moldy, musty smell. That AC unit was fixed promptly, day of the request.(6/3) There is still a moldy, musty smell and I noticed discoloration from water damage on the baseboard in my bedroom that adjoins the closet for the AC unit. I submit a second service request asking for the water damage to be fixed(6/5) Still no one has checked the apartment to my knowledge. I realize the water damage is on all the walls surrounding the AC unit (my bedroom, kitchen, bathroom). I add a not to my service request that the problem is bigger than originally stated. Moldy, musty smell still present. At this point I’m reasonably concerned as I have been breathing in mold spores for at least 5 days.(6/7) Water damage still not fixed. I call management, they tell me they are waiting for a part before they can do the job. It should be coming in the next day.(6/8) I call management again because still nothing has been done. They tell me they are still waiting for the part.(6/10) Still nothing has been done; I call again. They tell me they are still waiting for the part.(6/14) I go into the office. I’m told they are still waiting for the part.(6/15) At this point I’ve read up on Texas renters laws and know that the building owner must have fixed maintenance issues that put one’s health at risk within 7 days. It’s been 2 weeks since the AC unit was fixed, and 12 days so I submitted a request to have the water damage fixed. I go into the office again. This time I find out that there was some kind of mix up, and they are not waiting for a part (so I’ve waited needlessly for 12 days). I ask if they have at least checked for mold, they have not. To make this infinitely better, the assistant manager, assures me multiple times that I need not worry because mold does not grow that quickly. I looked it up. Mold grows within 24 to 48 hours (There was a witness). It has now been 300+ hours since I submitted the request to get my AC fixed. They have the maintenance team go to my apartment to look at it; I’m told that they are bringing a contractor in fix it soon (not given any dates). I also called 2 water damage specialists in the area and explained the situation asking for their input. Both were generally shocked that it had not already been taken care of almost 2 weeks later considering it was such a great health concern. I call the district manager, and left a voice mail explaining the situation and my dissatisfaction with how it’s being handled and the general lack of concern for my health and safety (left my phone number). She has not returned my call. I also used an online contact us form to inform someone about the situation. Have not received any response from this either.(6/16) I call the office to ask when maintenance is coming in to fix the water damage. I’m told that someone is coming today to give a quote to Camden. Still don’t know if anything has been scheduled or for when. I also asked to be put in a hotel or other apartment for the time being so I’m not continuing to expose myself to the negative health effects. I was told that because the source of the water damage (the AC unit) was fixed, it was no longer a large enough concern to comp a hotel room. Looked this up too. Mold DOES NOT die when water is removed from the equation. Called the district manager again, left a voice mail (literally in tears this time because I was so frustrated) still no response.(6/17) I’m submitting a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau (and likely others), calling the Texas Tenants Union, calling a lawyer, and writing a bad reviews on every website I can find Camden on. Wish me luck.
***WARNING*** This may be the longest review you have ever read. I have so much to share with people who are looking for a safe, fair priced place to live. Be aware that Camden Addison is NOT that place. Due to circumstance I have had to live here longer than expected but believe I will not renew when the time comes. I moved in nearly November 2016 into a 2b and it was pleasant until I tried to use the portal to pay my rent. I made a mistake of entering in 1 less number to link my account and paid my rent. I got the confirmation all was well however had a feeling that I should double check. I did that and noticed I made a mistake immediately and fixed it and repaid my rent again with the correct info. I got the confirmation, so I assumed all was good until a note on my door arrive days later telling me I owe 50.00 for nsf or return check. Of course it was from the mistake I made but rent was paid on time, actually early and they got their money. I went to the office to explain what happened to Nick the manager and he acted as if he did not care and told me there was nothing he could do. I had to go over his head to corporate to resolve the issue. WHY? Next issue was my mail was stolen from my mail box as well as my neighbors boyfriends check which someone tried to cash. When I reported it the front office acted as if they knew nothing of it but I was there when she reported that incident. They replaced the mailboxes thank God after so many break ins and complaints. I even spoke to the United State Mail carrier and she said Camden did not want to pay to get the USPS certified mailboxes replaced which is why it took so long. Part 2 coming!
I have lived here for two years and I couldnt be happier with any other place. I moved here from Indianapolis and the office treats me like family which has made the move easy and comfortable. The maintenance crew always fixes any problems in a timely manner and is always very nice and respectful. Then if you add in the other residents and their hospitality it makes for the best home experience. I highly recommend this property to everyone who is looking for a safe, clean, and friendly environment to check them out!
I came to Camden at a transition point in my life with many special needs and requests. I have found the staff incredibly helpful, courteous, thorough, and fair. The complex is beautiful, the pool is outstanding, the fitness room is very good, and the price is right! What more can you ask for? Im thoroughly pleased! Thank you, Camden staff!
I moved out of Camden Addison oct 2018.I liked the apt in the beginning. My unit came with attached garage , so it was very convenience, I did not have to deal with parking issuesthere is a incident , sprinkler room water pipe was burst out middle of the night , garage and closet were flooded with dirty waterThey sent someone next day clean and dry the carpet, but smell of dirt very went away.few months after Water was leaking from AC unit , flooded to my closet again . It was disasterI want to advise people who wants to move in to Camden , make sure fill out inventory sheet. They will charge you for everything.I hire professional cleaning company to do move out cleaning. But they still charge you move out cleaning fee for $90 . They said it was on leasing contractOk I got thatAnd then I see charge for missing freezer glass shelf for 68.56I turned the apt cleaner than when I moved in ,No damages to appliance or missing partsI talked to lady name gayle about the charge, she did not have any before pics that show me there was a glass shelf. She waived the charge in half. But I still believe that the charge was not fairI paid for it because I could not prove that there was no glass shelf.
We have lived here for 2 months now and are very happy with our choice! The staff and maintenance personnel are great. Maintenance work is taken care of with 24 hours of report. Beatriz was great to work with when we were preparing to move and is equally helpful now that we are residents.
I wish I could give them a -5!!! The management there is horrific. I lived at Camden Addison and had several packages stolen from my mailbox, one of which included my chemotherapy meadication, Ibrance, that costs over $11,000 (even with a discount). I told Nick (the current manager) that I had concerns regarding my safety and he said that stealing mail isnt a safety issue then he went on to suggest that i get a PO box. I could not believe what I was hearing. Im currently living with Stage IV breast cancer and I need my medication to LIVE!!! How dare he tell me that stealing mail isnt a safety concern? The entire time I lived there he was never helpful. The rent there is very expensive and I expected better treatment. I ended up breaking my lease after 4 months. I do not recommend anyone move to that complex as long as Nick is the manager.
I had a great experience dealing with Courtney Heflin she was always there to answer questions and assist me with all the move in details. Could not ask for better care and professional treatment. If you are considering a move into the Camden Addison, you should ask for her by name. All the information she gave was correct and up front. She always made time for me and my questions. Outstanding customer care.
My experience with Camden Addison, and particularly Beatriz, has been great. I recently moved from Florida to the Dallas area and had to do so quickly. Beatriz helped me get the unit I wanted, and helped me efficiently process all the paperwork and helped schedule my movers to make this painful process painless. Thank you so much!
Avoid this place! I lived at this Camden property since October 2015 to January 2018. When I first moved into my 1bd, some things were broken which I recorded on my move-in sheet and they fixed. Things were okay for a while but then things started going south fast.I started receiving emails by December about mailboxes being broken into. Then I started receiving very regular emails about cars being broken into. It was very scary considering I lived alone and I also traveled quite a bit for work and I never knew if my car/home were safe while I was away. One night, a group of guys who I did not know knocked on my door and I didnt answer. The next morning, I opened my door and found a half eaten box of pizza at my doorstep. My neighbors constantly left garbage outside, never in the valet trash can and never had any repercussions. Once, I put my trash can outside before the slated time because I was going to be out for the remainder of the day and didnt want it inside. When I got home, there as a note on my door that if I do it again, Id be fined. They are inconsistent with policies as they claim that only renters with stickers could park in open parking but there were several cars without stickers parked in any spot and never towed for MONTHS! I had to get my car worked on for a weekend and my bf took me home and spent the night, parked right outside my apartment and the next day he was towed. Went to the office to find out what happened and they were so rude & callous.A few months ago, one of the buildings caught on fire and the way they handled the situation with the tenants was awful. They gave them only a few days to move out and didnt offer them a place in any of the available apartments. When I moved out, they did not complete the move-in walkthrough sheet and when I asked for it, they claimed that its not their policy to go through it and return it. Ive lived in several apt complexes and NEVER been told that before. Plus, if its not your policy, WHY do I need to fill it in and hand it to you when I move in? Anyhow, did the walkthrough and everything was fine but then they send me a bill for $60 for carpet cleaning claiming to have magically found yellow stains on my carpet. I had no pets and didnt even wear shoes in my house.Overall, this place is not worth the money, especially now. Youll have to pay for added security for both your home and vehicle. They nickle & dime for EVERYTHING and the staff is incompetent. Thankfully, I purchased a home and dont have to deal with leasing companies for the time being but if I ever need to again, I would NEVER live in another Camden property.
Initially it was good to find an apartment close to work till they send me a renewal rate that was almost $300 more than what i used to pay for 15 months. Even the inflation rate goes up less than 10% every year but it seems like at Camden they have a theory of 30% or more increase. They dont care about current residents and how good they are in paying rent and stuff. If you cant pay the renewal, you are out. Thank God i bought a house and moved out. Be careful when you move out, Camden will do anything and find anything to charge you. Even after i told Gyle at apart office to let me know about the walk through so i can take care of things that you might end of charging me if any! They didnt tell me anything and then after a week sent me a final bill with 65$ extra cleaning charge on top of 60$ cleaning charge that they take.I had a very bad experience close to me renewal and move out. I wouldnt recommend this apartment.
From my first visit I could tell I was speaking with someone so skilled and professional at what they do. Beatriz Barrera was so thorough and precise with explaining the leasing options and process. I actually flew in a month ago from Florida to find a place in the area for a position transfer from my current company. I told her if the aprt had all the things I needed, Spacing and price I would consider moving here.I visited many complexes not just in the area but neighboring towns and not just the apartment but her customer service won me over.I felt I made the best choice for me and what I was looking for. The actual process was simple to complete and fast. I have been in my new aprt roughly a week and I have no issues so far. The building is clean, parking is still available once I get home from work, I have received mail and packages even to my door step with no worries or fear of someone taking it.Trash pick up is fast and I’ve done two work orders for Minor things on the mycamden site and they have gotten taken care of right away.I can’t wait til it’s summer or Atleast warm outside to try out the resort pool. The gym I will be trying out this week. You see a lot of people use it regularly which means equipment is up to par. And my neighbors and residents close by have been nice and no noise in my building which is good.So far my experience has been good.Thank you again Beatriz 😊
I will never EVER recommend moving here! One year here and will never be back! Our air conditioner has gone out in our townhome (2bedroom/2bath) and we were told we need a new one. You would think in 90 degree weather outside (bc it is the summertime) and it being 87 degrees inside our home they would accommodate us with a hotel room with cool air until it’s fixed, NO THEY DIDN’T. They offered a portable air conditioner that only keeps ONE ROOM COLD (which we weren’t told until after the temperature in our home continued to increase after the portable air conditioner had been installed). We are basically told to stay here under these conditions until they have a new one ordered and installed. If we get a hotel room they’re not reimbursing. We pay 1750 in rent and still have to come out of pocket for something we shouldn’t have to pay for. This is not the only issue we’ve run into while staying here. We’ve had issues with valet trash (which isn’t always granted even tho you’re paying for it). Issues with renters insurance (even though it’s automatically drafted from our account MONTHLY), the parking sucks! When we initially moved here the leasing consultant that assisted us told us that all guest had to park in visitors (which is mostly across the other side of the complex and dangerous when walking to/from the designated visitors area at night) yellow stickers are given to residents that are in townhomes and only residents could park in their driveway; guests still had to park in visitors if not they could run the risk of being towed (bc they don’t have a yellow sticker) 9 months into our lease we find out all of that was invalid information. Anyone can park in our driveway, which would have been nice to know during beginning bc the way guest parking is set up here is a big inconvenience. With all of that being said, we will not be renewing our lease. The townhome itself we loved, its extremely pretty but not enough to continue to deal with what we’ve dealt with.
While I only looked at the complex and did not choose to move forward with the application, I must say that the customer service in the office, particularly Carol Lovelady went out of her way and knew anything and everything regarding the property. I say this because I have recently viewed quite a few properties in the area over the last several weeks and this is the first experience I had where I was treated like an actual person and not a selling point. She was without a doubt the sweetest and kindest woman throughout all of my tours. Beautiful property and amazing staff. Honestly if circumstances were different and I get a raise soon I would sign a lease with them on sheer customer satisfaction!!!
I lived at Camden@Addison for 2 years. Starting from onboarding (which is all online), our stay was more than pleasant experience with wonderful staffs who are HAPPY to help always. I would like to special mention Gayle Davis who was always willing to go the extra mile be it with service requests, community know hows or event planning. Thank you all once again for making my stay wonderful.
Im very torn on what to recommend here. The apartments themselves are very nice and well put together. The real issue is that you can hear EVERY THING around you. I could hear my neighbors sneezing downstairs (thats not a joke). If you live on a top floor, I dont imagine itd be that bad. They are VERY expensive for what you get. They grounds are immaculately maintained though and its a very nice complex. The office staff is usually pretty good, though there are some to avoid. Maintenance is on top of everything, the longest we waited was 48 hours and they always left a note of what they completed for you. Parking is a nightmare, especially when it comes to guest parking. I was lucky enough to live in a building next to the bulk of the guest parking and still had friends have to drive around a few times to find a spot.Huge downside was when our lease was coming up, they raised the rent $400 and said it was $50 below market value so they were saving us money. We moved out after 15 months and though I miss the beautiful kitchen, I dont miss people constantly banging on my floor because Im sitting on my couch and they can hear me move a foot.Like I said, very torn. If you can afford it, do it and live on a top floor but expect your rent to go up when your lease is up. Thats my recommendation.
Apply November 11th and was denied, called about our returned deposit after a month instead Gill the manager told me a story about how she applied at social security office for what i dont know and didnt received her mail till after four month. She told me that if they have to reissue any check it will cost $25 extra. It is coming to two month now (01/11/2021) still havent receive our $250 deposit. Camden, what a shame.
All in all terrible apartments, expensive and unhelpful staff just made the whole experience traumatic.Let me start by saying I have stayed in Camden properties before but this is the only one where I felt I was treated like I didnt belong there. We stayed there for a year and recently moved out one week before our lease ended. On the move out day, we requested two things - to please let the new residents know we were expecting very important federal mail and to not discard it and the second to give our shower head back that we bought after they replaced it with theirs (worth 100$). They even said we could borrow a key to the mail box till our lease was up which is apparently illegal by law and they didnt know about this till later. When we went in after a couple days, they refused to acknowledge any requests and threw away our shower head. They pre leased the apartment and refused to put a note to the new residents. They were not ready to work with us at all to make our move out less stressful. On top of that a few days later, they a hefty move out bill - $250 for excessive damage to glass top, $40 for odor removal and $60 for carpet cleaning in addition to $90 for cleaning fee. I accept we had a few small stains on carpet and ready to pay cleaning for that. The reason for glass top damage is apparently scratches. Proof was to show a extreme close up of a photo after throwing heavy light on it. I had move out photos where it looks fine. It looked like normal cleaning would have taken care of it. They did not have photos to show that normal cleaning didnt work nor photos from my move in. I made a mistake by not doing this kind of inspection when I moved in as I dont believe we could have created that many fine scratches on the glass top. Its built up over the years and we ended up paying the bill for remodeling. To repeat I have lived in camden before and never faced this ever and I clean my kitchen every night. Their reason for odor removal was that some spices we use in cooking have odor so if you cook Indian food at home they will charge you for cooking even though your apartment smells great. (I have non indian friends over all the time and no one could believe this) They eventually got that charge out as I was very offended.Everyone in the Camden office has never been helpful including Nick, Beatrice, Gayle and Meagan. When we moved in we had a terrible time with the apartment above us creaking loudly all day and all night. (And they walked around the house even at 3 am ) it was a nightmare and they would not take it seriously to go fix the creaking. I went to them every day for two weeks to get them to work on it.
**UPDATE**In response to the parking issue, they have started to allow residents to reserve their favorite spots and expanded the resident parking where the guest parking used to be. Thank you!As for the dog waste, since the last comment I posted, it seems to have lessened. People are people and will neglect to pick up after themselves and their pets, but that will be most anywhere you go.I still maintain that a camera system in key areas would be the best deterrent, and after so many fines to doggy poo offenders, they would pay for themselves! :)All in all, Im happy with the complex and do plan on renewing.**OLD**I enjoy the place so far, neighbors are nice, not much outside noise. My only 2 complaints...Parking is really scarce if you come in later in the evening. Im not sure if its because some people have 3+ vehicles or what, but it gets pretty limited.Lastly, they need cameras around the parking areas and dog areas. It would provide more security for the vehicles and dog poop is EVERYWHERE. Its near impossible to avoid stepping in around building 8. They send emails saying to pick it up, but no one listens so its not really enforced unless another resident happens to catch someone in the act and tells the office. All that said, the staff is very friendly. So kudos to them.
Nice looking complex BUT One of the worst customer service experiences in my entire life and Ive lived in at least 7 to 8 apartments over 20 years in MN, CA, San Antonio, Plano and Addison. The management lacks the basic skills to accommodate a customer. The only reason I havent moved out is because of the constant travel with my job and the tedious job trying to coordinate a move while traveling. Ive given them countless times to make things right or just do the right thing and at the end of the day, they still fall short. Ive been at this location for almost 9 years and each change in management gets worse. A few current major issues: 1) The guest parking situation went from horrible to atrocious because they have 6 or 7 storage containers taking up 4-5 parking spots each, it makes it that much harder to find a spot for people who visit. 2) Forcibly making all tenants remove their personal washers and dryers so they can put their own appliances in each unit. You didnt offer W&D years ago and now you want to raise the rent by making all tenants use your appliances (MANDATORY). 3) Another money maker for the apartment complex is the MANDATORY valet trash pick up each night. The trash cans provided are just larger than a desk waste basket and you can only have one trash bag per night per apartment. Thats $25 a month I HAVE TO PAY that I DONT USE because the large trash dumpster is 20 steps from my front door. 4) MANDATORY $40/month cable fees each month whether you use cable or not!!!!!!!!!!THE LIST GOES ON AND ON........ This is not emotional, these are the facts from several peoples vantage point including my own!!!Save yourself a lot of frustration, time and money by finding another option because I changed jobs just so I can be home full time and MOVE OUT!!!YOUR HARD EARNED DOLLARS DESERVE BETTER!!!!!Move here at your OWN risk!!!
I own and operate Lindbloms professional carpet cleaning and carpet restoration and have serviced Camden Addison for over 15 years . This community is like a second home to me . I love the staff . They are very proffesional and friendly . I would recommend this community to everyone !
We moved to Addison 4m ago and it was the best choice we made. Gayle was awsome with the whole process of the application, intro, giving us advice for activites, showing us around. The app are very cozy, close to the park, close to everything. I love our bbq place by the pool and its so peaceful to leave here. We are staying in 2bbd and so far we didnt had any issues. I truly reccomend them.Thank you to Gayle l, we found our home.
(Part 2) I ended up having to downsize after that from a 2bd to a 1bd and was charged a hefty 875.00 transfer fee. Upon moving my valet trash can was stolen from in front of my door and I reported it. Nick, the manager told me not to worry about it, but then charged me 25.00 for it and when I questioned it he accused me of losing the trash can. REALLY? When moved into my 1 bd I was charged 150.00 of which 60.00 was to clean my carpet. Something Camden has to do anyway when a person moves and isnt that why I have a deposit on file? I am a single person with no pets or children who works from 9am -7pm daily and I take my shoes off at the door, so my carpet was not dirty like that. SMH!!! On move in date my keys were not ready, neither was my carport. Gayle the elder leasing agent did not put it in the system so it took precious time from my move in which I needed to return my old keys or I would be double charged for having both apartments. When speaking with Beatrice I believe that is her name she told me as long as I have them in before they open the next morning they would not charge me the fee. Well, guess what??? I was charged for holding both apartments because Beatrice was not there the next morning to verify that is what she told me and the assistant manager could have cared less. I was angry but what could I do? I was also charged 25.00 for an activity fee that I had paid 4 months prior to move into my first apartment because I transferred to another unit. I never left the community, so WHY?
I love this place, Ive lived here for a year, and I honestly cant complain! I was originally upset that I couldnt use my own washer and dryer, but it turns out that the ones installed in my apartment work way better then the ones I had originally! This place is also a pets dream, lots of green space for our furbaby and a nice trail next door. The lighting here also makes me feel really safe, but isnt intrusive while I sleep. My only issue is that I cant buy my apt as a condo.
(Part 3) Now, here we are 1 year later and my lease is almost up and all throughout the year there has been an ant infestation, trash all over the community because people do not honor the valet trash rules. More car break ins than I care to mention, even someone tried to enter a unit from the window. As a matter a fact someone tried to break into my place. I was so scared! Nick, the manager lives on the premises and his building is riddled with crime. Recently a building caught on fire and management handle that so bad the tenants of the units that were affected were told they had 2 days to find another community to move to without even being offered a vacancy here. People are consistently complaining in our web portal, one man says hes afraid for his wife. There are alerts about a sexual predator in the area, and the mail boxes are being pried open again. DAMN!!! There is NO security, cars stay being broken into, and the gates are regularly broken. I even showed Nick the manager how I watch a male who didnt have a code to get into the gate stick his arm in the open space and open the gate. I am so over Camden I cant wait to move and people need to know the truth about the 30 yr old over priced, money hungry community. They act as if they are about to go out of business the way they tack on fees. It is shameful because this place is 30 mins without traffic from the city. Never in all my years of renting have I been this stressed about my community. Its the GHETTO only in the suburbs. OMG, I cannot wait to move out of here!!!
THE WORST. I am so livid I have not even moved into the community yet and I have the WORST experience. My apartment is being renovated and I contacted the community MULTIPLE times to see if the apartment would be ready before the schedule time because there was a small lasp in time from moving from my old apartment to this one. They assured me it would be ready until the schedule time and I moved out of my apartment spend money on storage, movers, etc..only to find TODAY maintenance was scheduled ahead of time to complete. IF the property was in TRUE communication with maintenance then they would have known this when I called. I have been completely inconvenienced. But this takes the cake I called and spoke with GARY the MANAGER and asked him for corporate managers contact info and I also asked for managers cell. Gary could have easily said I am not allowed to give you that information He LIES and says I dont know it My friend was a property manager for 15 years and plus I know for a fact that a property manager would have the district managers business cell phone number. I told Gary my confidence had already been broken and he did not have to lie but just be a man and be honest and his response was I WOULD NOT speak to him in that manner like he was threatening me. I was at work so I had to be whisper anyway so I am not sure what what he was referring to. I am so upset because I HAVE BEEN the ONLY person inconvenienced. My thoughts are if the PROPERTY MANAGER LIES he teaches the associates to do the same..
Ive lived at Camden Addison for 5 months (Apt 1211) and I couldnt be happier. I relocated with my fiance from NYC, and talk about getting more bang for your buck! We always knew NYC was a miserable apartment dwellers nightmare, but we had no idea how bad until we had the opportunity to relocate. Little things that Texans take for granted have us ELATED. Theres a garbage disposal? Central heat and air? An ice maker? The blinds are included? Yes, I asked about the blinds and the leasing agent couldnt help but chuckle.Let me tell you whats really awesome about living in this gated community:1) The staff is stellar. They once retrieved a package with perishables from my porch and stored it in the office fridge. Life savers.2) Maintenance is awesome. Im used to trying to catch the Super in person and hoping he takes my issue seriously sometime this month. Here: I can call or fill out a form online and someone zips over in a golf cart right away.3) New carpet and steel appliances. I even have a washer/dryer, no extra charge.4) I have a GARAGE and its included in the rent! Honestly, I paid $175 a month for the last garage space I had, so this is AWESOME.5) Fitness center, RedBox (a knock off, but works the same!), business center, free bottled water and coffee.6) It was summer when I moved in and I felt like I was at a resort. The pools are lovely and well maintained. On the hottest days, staff brought around popsicles poolside. To counter negative reviewers:I have a feeling negative reviewers either have limited apartment experience, or simply dislike the clearly stated rules.1) Yes, you have to park in your designated area. Its not a secret, everyone knows it. Why exactly there are complaints about improperly parked cars being towed, is beyond me. I get it: they towed you quickly. Parking illegally is illegal from the moment you do it... not in 15 or 30 minutes because you just wanted to run inside for a minute. Park where youre supposed to and this is a non-issue. I also understand that guest parking is on one side of the complex. I dont think walking is an issue. Im told its good for you. ;-) I believe the reason it is set up this way is to allow as many actual tenants as possible to park close to their own homes. So yes, guests must walk a few hundred extra feet.2) Yes, cable and valet trash are required. Personally, I like the valet trash. If it wasnt required but an option, Im not sure if I would choose it. Since its required, I take advantage, placing my trash out for pick up more nights than not. As for the cable, Ill be honest, I hate Time Warner. Hate is a strong word, but yes, I hate them. Its the worst customer service and interface you can imagine. They dont even have DVRs with 4 show capacity or whole home solutions. That said, you can choose to take the $50 loss and get satellite instead. I see the dishes, so I know some people have gone that route. For me? I learned that TWC, for all its failings, will allow you to buy a Tivo box and get your service from them. Thats exactly what I did. I used to pay TWC $25 a month to rent a DVR box, plus $1.50 for the remote, and $21 for DVR service. I bought a $100 tivo box that paid for itself in 4 months, and I pay $15 to Tivo each month for service. I love Tivo and their interface. I now only pay TWC what is included with my rent and internet. Im a happy camper. In summary, this is a great place to live. Ive had a few times I needed help, and theyve rushed to my aid. Im greeted with a happy hello every time I set foot in the office. They keep packages and operate any way that suits you. That is, I can come in, I can call, or I can use the internet. I prefer the latter. I pay rent, submit maintenance requests, and interact with the community online. They even email me with updates and package alerts. This is the nicest complex I have ever lived in. I had no idea what to expect when moving to Dallas, and I have been so pleasantly surprised, all around. Im happy to call this home.
Nice place.. I lived here for over 10 years for corporate housing one or two bedroom apartments in North dallas and Addison this is probably the best apartments in AddisonAll aprtments have problems over the years their maintenance staff was always there when it was needed. Safe secure.. patrolled by Addison p.d. not a kid community not a senior community not a party community but a nice place to live that is centrally located.
Very nice apartments for the price, good maintenance staff, secure, nice neighbors. Only downsides (and they didnt bother me too much) are the proximity to the airport; theres some noise from some of the bigger jets taking off, and in the morning, the Addison road exit has tons of traffic, due to being next to the Trinity Christian Academy.
Glenn Marion is the gentleman that keeps the small swimming pool clean and beautiful. He probably does a million other things to. I mentioned to him that the area around my front door was very dirty and it looked like mold and he offered right away to clean it for me. He showed up the next morning with a power washer and cleaned the entire breeze way! He went above and beyond the call of duty. I greatly appreciate Glenn!!!!!
This place is a huge ripoff, the prices continue to climb as years pass, and no negotiation can be had. A huge inconvenience is that this complex FORCES YOU to have a washer and dryer regardless of if you have your own set, meaning my set has been taking up space in the garage while I pay for the forced/required-to-have second set inside the apartment. Also you are FORCED to have cable, which is a huge disappointment when you finally decide to cut the cord like all these new kids are doing, and just have Internet and Netflix, it is not possible with this apartment complex.Look elsewhere, too many negatives to even consider.
We ended our lease early. So many reasons. We couldnt stand the parking, the management, they stopped accepting packages at the office, they put the cheapest carpet in and then make you pay to replace it (i tried my hardest to get it clean), and they even towed my car when the sticker they provided fell off my windshield and onto the floor (still visible)
Customer service is cool. However, they DO NOT tell you that the PRICE listed ONLINE is ONLY GOOD FOR ONE DAY. During XMAS time MAILBOXES & CARS WERE BROKEN INTO. When its time to renew the lease the RENT WILL INCREASE $100-$200 PER MONTH 1-BDRM. Cars get TOWED quite OFTEN. Had to get mgr APPROVAL just to UPGRADE unit and PRICE WENT UP almost $400 PER MONTH 2-BDRM (NOT WORTH IT.) Groundskeepers are very cool property is very clean.
The management is horrible and RACIST. They are lazy and very rude. I and all my neighbors hate this place. Rent is too high for the quality. Nothing gets fixed unless you threaten them with legal action. All the black residents think they are racist. I agree with them after hearing their stories. They are very nice until you sign on the line and they have your money.
Had a garage door that wouldnt go down all the way repaired by Vidal Rivera, maintenance technician. He not only did the repair in a competent manner--he noticed that leaves had blown in the garage under the door and cleaned them out on his own. Talk about attention to detail and going above and beyond! Thank you Vidal~
I have experienced time here and realized that there might be criminal activity and i think there need to be an app where you can just click it on your phone and take a picture or list a description of that person. Because ive saw some suspicious activity and it takes to much time for me to pull up to pull up camden website
Camden Addison Apartments have a great property. The office management sucks. They misused my money orders. Then charged me $100 in NSF fees for their mess up. They have also not been urgent to get it fixed but are ready to try to evict me. They have the funds. They messed up. I feel that because I am black they are causing character defamation, emotional distress and are being racially bias as if it’s not 2022. If I were a Caucasian and spend $1600 in rent and the money orders were misused and or miskeyed they would have urgently taken care of this matter. But because I’m black and have not been acting like “ a crazy black woman “ they don’t care and are continuously harassing me about money that has been paid. I paid the money on April. The end of June they contacted me about $1600 of money orders that they messed up. I don’t feel obligated to this matter because I do not work for Camden. I paid the money order and gave it to them. How is it in June this is just now being addressed and NSF at that?Would anyone not feel skeptical? Especially if you paid the money and then 3 months later it’s an issue with both MONEY ORDERS?I strongly believe that there is fraudulent activity going on in the office with whomever is processing money orders.Sydnee was very unprofessional when addressing me regarding the situation. I do not appreciate the way she handled the situation especially being a representation of Camden Property & Trust.I have been in contact with corporate, emailing, calling and I am not hearing anything back.I’m out of $1600.00. That I worked for and the money I paid isn’t even being added to my account. This is a disgrace.

2022-03-01I’ve stayed at Camden Addison twice within the last 5 years. I truly enjoyed myself both times. I felt safe while staying there. Maintenance was great! They always speak while passing through the complex. The gym isn’t huge, but it’s always clean and open. Access to a walking trail and to the Addison athletic club. Front office staff changed over my time, but everyone I spoke with were always friendly :)

2022-06-30Camden Addison is a great place to live. This was my first time renting and they made the process so smooth from start to finish. From applying and getting approval same day, to friendly staff (shoutout Evan and Sydney), attentive and timely maintenance, the list goes on. Ive lived here a year and havent experienced any issues with bugs, ac or appliances going out, nothing. Not to mention the neighbors are cool and the grounds are beautifully kept. Very very happy!

2022-02-23Very comfortable place to live , great staff at the office, seems like a nice secure property. Probably the nicest property Ive seen yet in the area for rentals

2022-06-12I don’t recommend moving here unless you’d like to experience frequent package thieves and car tampering, an unresponsive front office, hours long wait times for “emergency requests” such as a broken ac unit on the hottest day of the year, causing the apartment to heat up to 90 degrees due to the poor insulation in the old building. I didn’t have the opportunity to see my unit before moving in and now understand why, I can actually see daylight through door frames because the sealant and insulation is non-existent and the foundation has shifted so much - you can actually see cracks in the walls & ceiling. Completely overpriced for the quality - beware!

2021-08-16We lived in these apartments for almost 4 years and had a great experience! Everyone in front office is super friendly and helped in any way they could. The pools and gym are always clean and maintained. We never had any bug problems and never had a huge maintenance issue just your typical burnt out light bulbs from time to time. Very pretty place and have access to a small walking trail next to the apartments. Most residents keep to themselves and at least where we were at it stayed pretty quiet. Now there were two problems that we did have issues with that I know before we left the apartments were trying to correct. The first one was the back gate, on several occasions the back gate would be broken and had to stay open until it was fixed (sort of defeated the gated community aspect) however they would fix it rather quickly. The second issue is the parking. They didn’t really enforce towing when it came to guests parking in resident parking. But like I said before I know this was an issue the apartments were working on before we had left.Overall I would highly recommend the Addison Camden Apartments!

2022-03-15Pictures dont lie, what I wrote can be disputed even though work orders, job rating and emails are present.but pictures dont lie, started good, great location. Crime is a big issue and a lot of tenants think its not taken seriously but I try my best to be vigilant. Its a different thing when you live with a five year old who locks the interior door and you call to have them open and ask if there is a key to unlock the doors as you would hate for her to lock herself in 1 of the rooms after hours. I was told to buy a screwdriver, I went on to ask what should I do if this happens at 10pm....I was told make sure she doesnt lock thedoor. I called the office and voiced my concern and was told they would call me back, never received that call but now I get several calls and emails about renewing my lease. Another thing, if you plan on living here try to view the unit you will get and look inside the AC vents......I wish I could post the pictures here.

2020-11-03I applied to live in this apartment in March 2019.My experience with Beatriz was excellent. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly, and I loved both the 2-bedroom units I saw. She laid out every step of the application process to me and offered regular check-ins in case I had questions. At the time of searching, I put her easily above any other leasing agent I have ever interacted with. If she is still with Camden, I would recommend speaking with her over anyone else. However, my experience with the other members of Camden afterward was far less than satisfactory. I completed my application for an apartment the weekend of March 16/17, 2019 and received nothing but misleading answers about why I was approved BUT with uncommonly steep conditions.First I was told my credit was the reason for the rejection (when my credit score was within the approval range). Then on the morning of 3/18 after a review, I was told that my annual salary was the reason, even though I provided my salary in the initial application days ago and reconfirmed it on 3/17.If the Camden wasnt interested in having me as a resident, I would have preferred that they gave one valid, specific reason for denial up front instead of making excuses. I have long since moved into a much better apartment, but I feel it is my duty to share my experience with all others searching for a home in these tough times.

2021-10-10Not worth the money. Many decided to move out.-The crime here is unbelievable, almost laughable.-Theres always some “incident”-they will increase your rent significantly for no reason-it has mold problems that they will do their best to hide-maintenance guys are very cool, only good thing about this apartment, sometimes will give you temporary fixes, but nevertheless they are quick and friendly-office staff are usually friendly but they could really care less about you after you move in- parking is always tricky especially at night-I think the main selling point is the nature the complex is surrounded by-The quality of the buildings is sad. The walls are essentially cardboard, so pray you dont end up with inconsiderate neighbors-when you move out, expect a bunch of charges that make absolutely no sense, they will find a way to squeeze every dollar out of you.-whoever says this complex is a “good price” must have just moved from California(Also, I suggest they install a metal door on the mailbox room that works with Chirp, as there have been several incidents of individuals breaking into peoples mailboxes)So, is it the worst apartment ever? Absolutely not, but you can find better.

2021-10-05THE COMPLEX IS NOT SAFE AT ALL. Just today a car got stolen, mine (for the second time) and three other vehicles were broken into, apartments are getting broken into and on top of it all there were shots fired in mid August. Camden then removed the TV from the pool area and fitness center. When management is asked how they plan to improve the security they just shrug their shoulders and say don’t know. Mail room gets broken into and mail gets stolen frequently. MANY RESIDENTS have asked for cameras to be installed in the parking lot and between buildings and CAMDEN refuses to do so. The entry gates almost never work and anyone can go in and out as they please. MOVE IN AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
