We have used Cantu since before they were Cantu. They are excellent in every way. They also have reasonably priced treatments. They come in between treatments if you need them to exhibiting their commitment to the job they do. We have been customers for about 20 years because they do what they say they are going to do! We respect that!
Spoke with Brenda at the office who scheduled Gus to come out the very next day for our issue of Rodents eating the wiring in our cars. Gus was polite and knowledgeable. It will be two days until they can get back out to set traps etc. Hopefully their game plan will work to get rid of these rodents.
The gentlemen came within the time limit that was set. He was courteous and started outside but didnt do the back yard as per my husband. He did spray inside the house upstairs and down and took into account my concern of ants in the main bathroom. Upon request he sprayed the garage also. I guess I was expecting him to lay sticky traps in the cabinets like my past exterminator for roaches and other bugs but I guess company is different. He sprayed down two wasps nest which was great. All in all it was a good experience, he did what he was suppose to do.
My wife and I have been customers of Cantu for almost two decades. The techs that have serviced our property over the years have consistently been prompt, professional and very knowledgeable when we’ve had questions. The office staff has always been friendly and accommodating when needing help with a bill or service question. We highly recommend their services.
I have been using Cantu for about 4 years now (quarterly service). My service tech Nick is awesome. He had been my tech the entire time. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend them to anybody I hear of with any pest issues. The price is quite comfortable and the results are great
Finally. After repeatedly asking Cantu to NOT randomly schedule a quarterly appointment without contacting me first; they did it! They actually called and left a reminder that it was time to schedule an appointment. And I returned their call the next day and made an appointment that worked for both of us. This is how communication between a customer & supplier SHOULD work. Technician Quentin came during the appointed time, did a thorough job, and was very personable & polite. I would have given 5 stars, but it has been a struggle over the past couple of years which has included emails/texts notifying us that they would be out the next morning to spray, when we had NOT made an appointment. Or worse, just showing up on our doorstep without an appointment. I am hopeful that when it is time for our next quarterly treatment, we will be given a reminder call and it will go this smoothly in the future. We have been Cantu customers for many years, and have always appreciated the professionalism of their technicians. It is the scheduling part that has been a source of aggravation.
Very pleased with the service and technician! Our technician arrive early but called us ahead of time to make sure that was okay. He was very through with his inspection and treatment. He seemed interested in hearing about the issues we considered to be the biggest problem and told us what he thought might be the cause. Only time will tell how effective the treatment is, but I expect it to be good!
I have been working with Cantu for a few years getting quarterly service for insect control. We live in an older home that had lots of openings and we started to hear weird noises coming from our attic a few months ago. I called them out and we found out it was mice. I thought to myself that it was going to be expensive to get rid of them and who knows what they will have to do to make sure they stay out from then on. The first tech diagnosed the issue and put up some traps and odor control because when one died the entire house had a horrible stench. A second tech was sent out to evaluate the outside of the house and give us the quote to get it rectified. He showed us every opening we had on the outside and boy, there was plenty. I was dreading what the price would be but some of the mice didn’t let us sleep with their running around in the attic so we figured maybe a payment plan and that would do it. Well, we got our quote and honestly, it was nowhere near where I had thought. Much more affordable! We scheduled the job for the following week and we just had it done yesterday. They will be back in a few days to check all of the work and make sure the mice don’t chew thru anything. The service was fast and on time. The techs doing the work were professional and respectful of our home. I am very happy with their service and will surely continue to use them for years to come.
I highly recommend Cantu! They are responsive, prompt, extremely friendly and professional, and clearly value their customers. I have had the same dedicated exterminator for 4 years, he and the entire team truly care about their clients and they offer exceptional customer service.
Cantu staff is always so professional and take great care of their customers. My experience is a long time customer has been a wonderful one. I highly recommend this company. Prices are very reasonable and the peace of mind they provide in not worrying about bugs is priceless.

We have been with Cantu for a few years and have noticed repeated service problems last couple of times.Two weeks ago, we started to have a rodent problem in the front yard. I called to make an appointment and was told a technician will come over two days later and further discussion will be held after his evaluation.I never heard back and after I called back, I was told the technician spread some rat treatment and left. Does that mean poison for rats??? We have toddlers at home and play in the yard. Why they didnt call to discuss trap options like I was promised?I called again to make an appointment and stayed at home. The technician was supposed to come between 1pm to 4pm but never showed up. I called once again and they told me technician came and nobody was at home. We were right there waiting for the technician.The next day I called again. We even saw the Cantu truck drove by and didnt stop but when I called AGAIN, I was told technician came and left a note. We were right there and no note. I verified my address maybe 10 times with them throughout this process.And I cant directly contact the technician because their phone is their private line. I asked to talk to the manager but she was out. Sadly at this point, I lost all my energy to argue.I have to seriously consider cancelling our service with Cantu. In this whole process, I didnt get any customer service like any customer deserves.----Update. Cantu has followed up after seeing this review and was responsive to my requests. I would like to update my experience as 3 stars.
Oscar was great, after he treated the interior I explained that had a concern about wasps hives around the house, he treated them knocked them down and then treated the exterior with two different types of pest control. After he was finished he came back in and walked me through what he had found. He was very polite professional.
I did a lot of research, a lot of Pest Control are out of my budget. I read a lot of reviews on Cantu Pest & Termite had positive reviews. They were very responsive and helpful to the questions that I had. The technician was very informative and went straight to work, I really appreciate for doing this.
I love the folks at Cantu. My guy comes out, and its been the same guy forever. I know him, he hangs out a bit and chats. The big thing is that they deliver the service on time. Every time. But they do it on a personal level too. Its not just wam, bam, thank you maam. Keep up the good work guys!!!
John showed up within the scheduled time frame. I told him the trouble that I was having (carpenter ants) and he went right to work looking for them, finding them and eradicating them. He even showed me where they were coming from and took care of them there, too. Great job!! Very professional!! Would recommend!!
They were great, showed up on time, and did the job quickly and effectively. The only complaint I have is that I paid for my services up front, over the phone. Then approximately 2 weeks later I was invoiced for taxes, which I believe should have been included in the payment I made before the Tech. came out.
Nick has always treated our home as if it were his own. I have not had any pest issues that could not be managed with their quarterly service or a spot treatment for those random Texas bug swarms! I appreciate their small business customer service with their professionalism that beats any of the larger national chains.
Eric did a great job! (As usual). He greeted us at the do with an optimistic outlook. Additionally, he commented about our discussion we had last time; a genuine care for us as customers. Eric is the reason why we dont care about the price the solicitors show up offering. Simply put.... Keep up the great work Eric! your customers and your company appreciate the effort you give daily.
After the one year of service was completed from Cantu Pest Control, I have a few good things and a few bad things about the company. Originally we paid for flea extermination and Cantu did a great job, after one treatment the fleas were gone and we had no more issues. As a precaution I paid for a year of service incase the fleas came back and because we have a lot of issues with bugs anyway in our area. Cantu was supposed to spray for bugs on the inside and the outside, but the problem was they would never call to set up appointments to spray the house. Most of the year they would come when we were not home because we werent expecting them, and they were only able to spray the front of the house because I keep the gate to the back yard locked. I would call and ask them to set up appointments so we can know but they never would. Sometimes we would be home and we would be able to get our home sprayed, but it was still inconvenient because we would have to leave. We basically paid the entire year, but didnt get the full service. I would recommended making sure make sure your get exactly what you pay for.
We changed to a new Cantu tech today and I really appreciate Alice handling the changeover. She made certain of our appointment with our new tech Michael. It was great in that we had known Michael in the past and he had always taken great care of our service needs. It was the same today he handled each issue we had concerns over and gave us reports on the status of each one when he was finished. Its really good to have people you work with be of such great character and dedication to taking care of your pest issues. Thanks for both Alice and Michael for getting things handled and we look forward to Michaels next visit.8 months later Michael Randle remains the most professional and dedicated technician we have had from Cantu. We look forward to each of his services as he an enjoyable person to work with. I hope Cantu is aware of the great job he does in representing them and speaking highly of the company he represents. Yesterday 5/29/18 was his last service.
Moved back to Dallas in a rental home first of September. Realized everywhere is full of insects and bugs. Tried to pay any price to bring pest control to our new home to take care of the bugs issue . After a few days Cantu gave us appointment for Saturday and waiting all day long for service man. The service man arrived and left about 10 minutes later . I asked if everywhere has been spared . In house , front and back yard . He said yes but we we were still getting bites from insects. They came one more time and we had to same result. We hired another company to take care of our pest control needs . I just a letter from collection agency asking for a service was done with Cantu and we did not ask for it.Don’t use this guys . They Bad and trouble maker .If anyone has made the same experience can join me on joint lawsuit and I pay for all the attorney fees and court cost . Please write .
I have decided not to use their services because the man who came to assess our church did seem bothered. Maybe he was tired or.maybe he had a rough day but he came in I told him the issue we were having, he quickly gave me different prices for treatments and said that if since i needed a one time Cantu would honor the groupon price. He went to his car brought a paper and left it on the table at the entrance of the churchImmediately after him another pest control guy walked in, I td him our pest issue and he looked around, opened the back door, showed me where the problem was coming from and how to stop it. He advices we get a new door sweeper ( he showed me the one we presently have and how bad it has gotten). I appreciated the time, patience and human touch. Though cantu s groupon price was cheaper, I went with the other guy because of that
Great service as always from Michael! We have used Cantu for many years even before the name change. They have always done a great job of keeping our house pest free. We are on the maintenance plan and if we ever find any critter in the house they come right out and take care of it. Again great service and friendly professional staff!
I have been with Cantu for over 4 years. The person that actually sprayed my house was very nice, but the scheduling is very inconsistent. Some times they call to schedule my quarterly sprays, sometime they just show up unannounced. I have tried to schedule it on the same day every 3 months and that never works. This last time it had been over 3 months since my last spray and I had to call them to schedule. When I asked asked about the delay they said it had been canceled, but could not tell who canceled it or why.
Outstanding service and value! We had in the past other companies; this is consistently the best! Mr. Juan went above and beyond at todays service. He treated the interior/attics/exterior, crawler space, cleaned wasp nest, checked out for termites. Thank you very much!.
I have been using Cantu for over six years and have continued with them after our move to a new home. I have not seen any insects in either home in years as they have kept them under control with the ongoing service. Michael is a pleasant service technician that made sure he understood what insects we were seeing along the perimeter of our new home. He was servicing the home next door a couple of weeks after spraying our home and stopped by to check how the service was doing.
We have been using cantu for about 2 years now, and have yet to see a bug! Michael is our tech. We absolutely love him! hes so friendly and interacts with our children and dog! He is good at his job and would recommend HIM to anyone! Couldnt ask for a better overall experience. thank you Michael and Cantu for helping protect my family and home!
If I could do less than 1 star, I would. The staff is nice enough, but nice doesnt get my house treated. The technician was scheduled from 11-1pm, and I had heard nothing by 12:45. When I called to find out what was going on, the staff told me theyd contact the technician and get back to me. 45 minutes passed, and no contact. I called again, and staff stated the technicians phone was off, but more than likely to expect him between 1-3pm, as he was 30 minutes away in Irving. Staff agreed to call with an update before 2:30. At 2:30, there had been no update. Called the office back to cancel and staff stated they understood as technician was unreachable. Very unhappy.
Their service is subpar. For our initial application the exterminator never showed up. When I called they said they changed over systems and our appointment didn’t transfer over. Ok. When he did come to treat our house, he ran out of the materials he needed and said they would reschedule a time for him to come back. 12 days later I still did not hear from them so I call and she says again their system changed and the exterminator didn’t know how to enter it into the system. No type of compensation for the terrible service and mistakes on their behalf. I’m giving them another shot, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
I was with another pest control service for 15 years. They could not solve my latest ant problem and didnt respond in a timely manner to urgent calls. I called Cantu and had someone out the next day. Sergio did an awesome job. He dusted under the sinks and hid bait behind switch plates. Those ants were gone in a couple of days. He came back the next week to check on the activity and spray the yard. Excellent work. Very pleased. Makes me wonder why I waited so long to switch.
After 2 no show appointments, someone eventually came out last week. Since then I keep seeing live bugs including 3 water bugs inside the home. He wasn’t even here 5 mins. I know spraying is quick. The report I was sent said wasp nests were treated outside the home yet I have 2 doors and there are large wasp nests above each of them so a little confused by that. Feeling a little ripped off and will probably have to find service with another company soon.
They are unorganized with there employees. On the first visit out did not have equipment so they came out once boxes were received. As for checking the boxes I had to call for them to come out. Then on second call I asked the young lady why they didn’t do a regular visit, she said they decide if the need to come out or wait for you to call. Then technicians lie about coming to the house and the manager stated she has to go by what the technicians say. You then charge me for the 2nd visit after charging over $200. They are not consider of their customers,... not happy
Very disappointed. I signed up for a periodic service. I started getting bills where I assume they came by when I was at work. Two problems: 1. They couldnt treat the inside of the home since I wasnt there. 2. The gate is locked so they couldnt get to the back half of the outside of the house. I think the tech was probably recording the service call and not doing anything or just treating the outside of the front of the house. Looking for another, more honest pest control service.
I searched around for a pest control company and was initially attracted to them due to their competitive prices, BUT after having them service my home for over a year, I continue with them due to their great service. I have even extended the scope of services that Cantu offers such as using their mosquito control program. For the first time since moving to DFW, our backyard is mosquito free!. I also want to say that our tech, Mr. Nick Childers is the best. Knowledgeable, friendly and always going beyond the routine service.
Alex is fairly new, we talked before she started , she did well , she listened well but i would like her to come over again to see how her memory is, meaning if she does well on her next trip , than i wont question her and i will just talk to her when she is done, Thank You, Mr Cantu..
Jeff called to let us know he was on his way, then let us know he was here. He found and treated ant piles and wasps nests and educated us on the difference between paper wasps and yellow jackets. (Wed always thought we had yellow jackets.) It was smooth, seamless, business.
Actually have used Cantu since they purchased Express Pest. First let me say the spray they use WORKS!! trust me I would of switched otherwise. Many times I did actually want to cancel...that is until they brought on Alice!! Alice has been the answer to all my problems or issues. She should of been running this office much sooner!! Alice is the one I can count on to get something done. Just wanted to take a minute of my time to say Thank YOU Alice!!
Nick Childers is our technician. He is very knowledgeable and professional in every way. We had Cantu in Lantana for six years and now in Robson Ranch for almost three years. I have to say I am very dissapointed with the service I paid for. I still have the problem. I was grossly over billed. Alice took care of part of the overbilling. I have since canceled and would not at this point be inclined to recommend Cantu. I was their client for over 10 years. I feel like the service has declined in recent years. I expressed the same concerns as stated above. A gentleman offered to come look at my property. When he arrived he looked around and did a poke and see. He returned to me to ask if I want to continue service. I replied I was dissapointed in service. I also told him I will send the final payment of over 200.00 dollors invoiced to me (more over billing) (my opinion) as soon as I can. I was told upon him leaving (would I consider changing my review) maybe. I recieved a email a few days later with a link to change my review.1) I have not really had any change from the origional status posted2) A guy comes out and pokes around and Im supposed to be swooned?3) all that has changed from my op is that I have wasted time letting them come over and writing this follow up. ( being prompted (harrassed) 3times)In conclusion. If your looking for a good follow up review dont ask me over and over again...to change my review.Also Cantu you might have considered a solvet resulution to my issue. Cantu Pest Control offers economical service packages. We just moved into a townhome that had been vacant for some time so there was a problem with ants, spiders, rollie pollies, u name it. Cantu came to the rescue and treated our problem. After 3 or 4 days i was still seeing some activity so they came again the day after i made the call at no additional charge. I am so pleased with their service and the professionalism of their team.

Horrible, just horrible. Just remember you get what you pay for...they may be cheaper but the experience is horrible. Technicians never come on time, they rush to get their appointment over with and they have horrible customer service. Did I mention they are horrible. Tried giving them multiple chances...be aware folks. Oh, and look at all of these other reviews on google compared to the fake reviews on their website. What a fraud.
They were expected to come out on a Thursday and never showed up. When my husband called they said they were lost and decided to go to their next client. My husband rescheduled for the next Monday and they decided not to show again. Once again, my husband called and he was sent to their voicemail for a week. I’m not just disappointed, I’m frustrated.
I always look forward to Michael Randle coming out to service my location in Greenville Texas. He is the epitome of professionalism and courteousness. If I have a question, he always has an answer. Whomever was driving your business truck on Highway 380 in the Frisco/Little Elm area today around 12pm/12:30pm needs to be reprimanded. Their driving as reckless and endangered the safety of others on the road. It completely unacceptable, especially with the name of your business plastered all over the vehicle.

2022-05-19The technician was great NO complaints on that end AWESOME service and completely respectful . However I am not sure what exactly I am paying so much for when certain things had already been repaired and not needed. 487. for a little mesh wired trap and some foam is a little steep when it JUst the same to repair the whole board where the hole was. I advised them of the bill and they did nothing. I do NOT recommend them. Very disloyal company. I will be terminating my monthly service.

2022-07-02The guy that came out to do the Interior and exterior spray was extremely friendly. He went through every room and sprayed the back yard and front. I will definitely call this company next time!

2022-07-14The tech came out for my routine pest service and was at my home for 8 minutes and did not appear to go in my backyard at all. Also, the notes left for the visit was blank. All of this cost me $107. That equates to $802 an hour. Horrible value. I could get better pest control by spending $30 for some yard spray at my local hardware store.

2022-06-24So, we have been using Cantù pest control services from last 5 years and they cover our 3 houses for us. I never had problem with them until this morning. I have called them for take of the the nest if cikada killing wasp. Unfortunately I had an emergency and I was not home when they arrived for the service. They treated the ant piles and left when I have mentioned them specifically about the wasp. When I called them this morning again to come and look at the wasp nest, the lady was just so rude and she kept on telling me that we don’t do anything about wasps. I told her that you did couple of years back, but she kept yelling at me that they don’t. I’m so disappointed on Cantù services now. I’m going to find some one else to take care of my house.
