I initially went to Capital Music Center because I was looking for an electronic drum kit. My mother in-law had just moved in with us and I needed to keep playing my drums—it is therapeutic—without disturbing Mom. I spent months researching and finally needed to sit behind a kit and see if an electronic kit felt enough like my acoustic kit to be playable. This was the only place I could find that would let me try.My wife called ahead and told them I was coming in on my way to UT. I walked in and they came up and ask if I was Don. I said yes and Britt and Catherine immediately helped me explore their inventory. No push no rush. They helped me find the best kit for me. The price was the same as the online discount stores, or a bit better with what they included. After the sale they were helpful, responsive and encouraging. Britt texted me back with help on Thanksgiving day! They made me feel at home and like one of the family. They built friendship, trust and loyalty. Except for the state of the art instruments, it was like I had gone back in time 60 years to the music store in my home town, where teaching, service and kindness mattered most. You can read my opinion, or better still, experience Capital Music Center for yourself. Go visit, go buy a new instrument, or take a lesson. It’s like going home!
Great Place! I was on a serious hunt for a specific piano no one seemed to have to surprise my daughter… Every step of the ordering process was pleasant and straightforward. Giuseppe was of great help. Delivered across the country brand new, undamaged as promised. Highly Recommend A++ #Shopsmall
Fantastic service, delivery, and friendly staff. This is a great place to purchase instruments and get advice. They gave me a great deal on a digital piano and I couldnt be happier. The staff are clearly passionate about music and were eager to help me find the right instrument. I will recommend them to everyone, and its great to be supporting a local music shop.
Purchased a VAD306 from Capital Music. Amidst the shortage of edrums they are the only ones that have inventory. I was able to private message them to ask my questions since this is a big purchase. Britt was very responsive and was able to answer my questions. Delivery time of 2 days was on point and the drums arrived as expected. Really enjoyed the service from this local company. I will definitely consider them in futuer purchases.
I purchased a Roland RD-88 here and it was a great experience through and through. I walked into the store for the first time and the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and very urgent to help me with what I needed. I was guided in the right direction and my decision to purchase the keyboard that I did was strongly reflecting the input Mr.Cawthon offered. Super thankful that he helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and I will definitely be coming back here again. Great experience for a local shop that does not have enough lime light, I recommend it to anyone from a beginner to a pro. Thanks again!
I enthusiastically recommend Capital Music. The staff, Guiseppe in particular, were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating as I selected a digital piano that replicated the acoustic experience. They were very respectful of my specifications and did not try to upsell. It took several phone conversations and store visits for me to choose and I was treated throughout with courtesy and understanding. When the piano was delivered and set up, I was impressed by the care that they took, both to assemble it and to protect my floors during assembly. Thank you, Capitol Music/Guiseppe, for a top-notch experience. I couldnt be happier with my instrument and look forward to many years of music.
First time visitor... made customer. I walked in knowing I wanted a drum kit. Being they are a premier Roland dealer, I figured it would be a good first place to check out. We were instantly greeted by Catherine, let us know she was available for questions and let me explore without being hounded. I saw a kit that caught my eye and Catherine was able to answer all of my questions, and let me try out the kit. Its a big purchase and wasnt ready to decide right then and there. She let me walk away with simply giving me her card and not trying to force anything on me at a all.I drove up the street to Guitar Center to see what they have. We walked in, passed several employees and werent even greeted despite most employees not being engaged with any customers, etc. They had a Roland kit packed in a box, none set up (just some of the off brand electric kits) No pricing to be found on the Roland kit. I browsed around, saw no employee willing to interact with me, so I walked out knowing where I needed to go and who deserved my business.Back to Capital Music and again greeted by Catherine and ready to start the purchase. They were flexible with subbing some of the hardware out (yes, they will work with you to make sure you take home exactly what you want) - I upgraded to a double base pedal, no big deal for them. Then another gentleman started packing the kit up and putting it in my care, and within 10-15 minutes, I had the kit purchased, packed in my car, and provided with information about my purchase, warranty and support (they will triple the manufacture warranty for local residents and I think double for anyone else). That was my experience with the music shop. I was able to set the kit up at home and jam for a few minutes. So far its great. I feel confident that if I have any issues, or just need help with this pretty advanced kit (only owned acoustic kits in my life) that I can reach out to them and be guided to a solution. Listen, I never leave reviews for places because Im just not wowed enough (which isnt typically a negative reflection on the business - I just dont care). However Capital Music exceeded my expectations in every category. Was it just Catherine who made that experience great? Nope. Everyone I worked with was equally warm and welcoming, not pushy, didnt have the sales person vibe. I know for me, I will definitely return for upgrades, new equipment, etc. I tend to be a pretty brand loyal customer - and that goes for stores too. If it works, if the experience was great, return. God Bless!
Catherine and Britt were super helpful in our purchase of a Young Chang grand piano. They were very knowledgeable about the instrument, and though there selection was smaller than some other stores, the instruments they had were all really special and competitively priced. If you’re in the market for a new instrument, i would definitely suggest giving Capital Music Center a visit. As someone new to Austin, i look forward to building a relationship with this store in the years to come.
Amazing renting and shopping experience thanks to Giuseppe! We got to try out and rent a digital piano and ended up buying an upgraded model at a great price. I received exceptional customer service without ever setting foot in the store! Giuseppe was always there to answer any questions: on specs, dimensions, financing, anything. He made sure everything was smooth from start to finish.
We recently purchased a digital piano at this location. Catherine was very helpful to us right from our first phone call all the way to the purchase. She helped us try out a variety of pianos as we switched our plans between acoustic and digital, and renting versus buying. She and all her colleagues were always patient with lot of information and no pressure at all. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.
I bought Roland HP702 here. They mainly distribute Roland and Yamaha. Roland is absolutely amazing digital piano with their unique technology. I tried to look for Roland in Guitar Center and other stores but they don’t have Roland. I’m so happy we have Capital Music Center in Austin. They are very progressional. And the reason I choose Capital Music is also their white-glove delivery. Now due to COVID, almost all other stores only provide threshold delivery (they only put it outside on the ground floor). But piano is heavy, it is impossible for me to lift it and set it up by myself. This is a big advantage from local business. They can help you as much as possible.Whether you are beginner or expert and looking for your perfect digital piano, just come here and you will find it.
What a great experience renting and then purchasing a piano from Capital Music Center! I found myself in a situation that many parents do...getting kids started with piano lessons. I had no idea what kind of piano to get or whether or not my kids would enjoy learning piano...and then continue to take lessons.Britt at Capital Music Center made the process easy by answering my questions and allowing me to rent a piano with the payments applied to the purchase. The first payment included the delivery, which occurred a day after I called...now that is white glove service!
Britt, the manager at Capital Music, was amazingly helpful in helping me find a piano. When the shipping from the manufacturer was delayed, he spent a couple days on the phone with them, negotiating to have me sent a higher-end model (!) for the same price. Taxi, the man who delivered my piano, was incredibly careful and professional. Good vibes all around—highly recommended!!
Capital Music Center have plenty of digital piano on display, you can try almost every model you want. I decided to buy a Roland digital piano after watch some evaluation video on YouTube, and then on the Roland official website I found Capital Music Center is the nearest premier dealer from me. I prefer see the piano in person and then make purchase, so I went there without second thought. And it turns out I really got a good deal from CMC, and also very good service. Britt there is soooo kind, he delivered the piano to me and helped me lifting it to 3rd floor in his personal time, cause my car is too small the piano doesn’t fit in. 5 stars!
I spoke with Catherine for a digital piano consult. She was very informative and guided me to make the best decision. They were so kind, supportive, and not pushy. I felt like they truly wanted me to make best decision for my family. I was delighted when they said they could deliver our piano the next day. They made our experience exciting and fun.
Buying a piano here was super simple and they were awesome enough to deliver it to my 3rd floor apartment. 😅 They also were able to refer me to a teacher close in proximity, which was great. Really appreciated Giuseppes help with everything and so happy to have such a beautiful instrument!
Love Capital Music Center! We decided to shop for a digital piano, so we could start the kiddos in piano lessons. On a recommendation from a friend, we stopped by Capital Music Center. Britt spent a great deal of time going over our needs and reviewing the digital pianos they had available that would meet our needs and fit our budget. I love that they offer a rent to buy option, where we can give the kids a chance to try it out before committing to a $1400 piano. So far, lessons are going great, and we love the piano Britt recommended! Even my mom, who has played piano for over 50 years, loves the feel and sound of the Roland we purchased. Great customer service and a great buy!
The folks at Capital Music could not be more enjoyable to work with. If you are looking for music lessons, pianos, electric drums then go to Capital Music. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable and fair. Locally owned and operated since 1988! A true Austin original!!
Excellent experience buying my Roland TD-17KVX drums. They have the full lineup of Roland drums to demo, which helped me make the correct decision for my needs and budget. When you go there, ask for Giuseppe. He patiently found me the best setup, price and warranty. Couldnt be happier!
Excellent service, pricing and delivery. Britt gave us THE best price on our Roland digital piano, shipped it across country in record time, and threw in so many surprise goodies we felt truly blessed. Our customer journey was flawless from the very first inquiry phone call to my thank you call the other day. We were updated during the entire process without even having to ask. This kind of customer service is rare and gives us great peace of mind for future purchases and existing ones. Thank you Britt!
Wonderful place to visit even during COVID. I was set on sticking with Yamaha due to my prior experiences with their uprights and mallet percussion instruments, but there have been serious supply shortages due to COVID and a silicon factory fire. Giuseppe helped me find a Roland that I am really going to love over the next decade and I couldnt be happier with my experience shopping here.If you are thinking about ordering a digital piano or drums from the likes of Amazon, say no and pay Capital Music Center a visit. You will get a better deal, bonus extras, and they will help you with the installation.
I have been playing drums for approximately 30 years and have had the pleasure of watching Roland develop their brand with greater sophistication. I have been playing Vdrums for about 10 years now. TODAY I upgraded from the TD-30KV to the TD-50KVS. I couldn’t have done that and felt as at ease with a big purchase had it not been the tremendous wealth of information provided by the wonderful team at Capital Music Center. CapMusic is the premier licensed Roland dealer in Austin, for both their drum and piano line. They work hard at delivering you with the greatest quality possible and are flexible on pricing to make a deal that works for both buyer and seller. Cash, credit and financing options are available. If you have any questions on software or hardware, their knowledgeable team can field questions faster and with the same care and diligence as if contacting Roland directly. Can’t say enough good things… have been a customer for about 4 years and will continue to do business with the best in town. Also, if you’re from Texas but not from Austin, know that they have the highest Vdrum sales in the state. If you ever need them, give them a call. It’s worth a quick trip to Austin for peace of mind. Enjoy!
Capital Music is great! I was looking at digital pianos and they were very knowledgeable and set me up with a monthly rental contract so I would have 6 months to decide if I wanted to purchase. They also give monthly discounts if you are taking lessons. The customer service is fantastic!
Capital Music Center out of Austin Texas has old fashioned values and a keen knowledge of products and services. Mr Giuseppe followed the transaction from start to finish. Even pic texted the piano on its way in a truck! The responce of this company first rate!Mr Giuseppe followed the deal personally to the end. If anyone desires musical instruments and a company that truely cares and puts the customer first, which is unusual in todays time, then call Capital Music Center in Austin, Texas. They will treat you right! Thanks again for a smooth transaction. You will be my go to for all my music needs,C. Davis
Britt was very helpful and knowledgeable of the pianos. He made my first experience very impressionable. I greatly appreciate all that he did to make my decision and purchase easy. I’m even more excited for my piano journey!!! Also appreciative of the gentleman that helped my husband load as well as give the instructions on how to assemble.Thank you all so much!!!
My experience with Giuseppe at Capital Music Center was nothing short of wonderful. Professional and patient he answered all my questions. He was not pushy and did not try to upsell us. He worked with us and directed us toward a piano that is just right for our daughter. Please buy local! If you are looking for a piano (they have other instruments as well) look no further than the professional staff at Capital City Music Center!!
I was in the market for a electronic drum kit and came across Capital Music Center. They have a very friendly and helpful staff. I spent a few hours asking Britt and Taxi questions that they thoughtfully answered and brought up a few questions that I hadn’t thought of. Their insight helped me decide on both a kit that fit my budget and desires, but also in some of the components that I might want to upgrade. On the subject of component upgrades. They were able to do that for a very reasonable cost, which was a huge plus compared to the chain and online stores that had I talked with as well. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase and the before/after sales support from the staff there. I highly recommend them and they will definitely be getting my return business.
Waited for delivery before I reviewed… Fan Effen tastic👍 Giuseppe at the store was Great! Digital piano was perfect for me, just what I was looking for even cost less than the one that I first looked at. Delivery guy was really nice, very careful even early delivery. Digital piano is beautiful, every key… What more can I say I recommend Capital Music 100% for Digital pianos… Gary
Staff was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! They have a great selection of digital pianos and keyboards whether youre a beginner or a professional pianist. They offer great discounts to piano teachers. Will definitely be recommending to my students and friends interested in purchasing an instrument.
These guys really know their pianos! I was in the market for a new digital keyboard. They didnt stock the one I wanted, but after chatting a bit, they suggested a different one. I came in to try it out, and realized they were right, and the one they were selling was a much better fit for me. Went in today to buy it - they worked with me on price, matching the price I could get online, setting up a bundle tailored for me, and even suggesting a floor model (at a discount) for the pedal board. I could not be happier with the whole experience!
This is business is a local gem. Yesterday I decided to try out the piano rental program and I couldnt be happier. Its simple, no gimmicky upsale or excessive fees, and really pretty great if youre looking to get into an instrument but not sure for how long.Support local business! These folks deserve it.
I’m a classical pianist and this place made me very happy! Giuseppe helped me find what I needed immediately and the selection was fantastic. Definitely the place to go for anyone looking for a piano or keyboard as well as music books. I’ll be a regular here for sure!
Britt from Capital Music Center was extremely helpful during our search for the right piano. He demonstrated acoustic vs. digital, and helped us choose the best piano for our needs. With 3 little kids starting piano, we ended up with a beautiful Roland digital piano, that has a ton of fun extras for the kids. Britt stayed beyond closing to finalize our purchase, and our piano was delivered the very next day. We love our piano and couldnt be happier with the initial and follow up service.
Y’all have to check out Capital Music Center for all your instrument needs. They’re selection of V-drums is out of this world from the beginner learner to the most skilled, you can’t go wrong here! They hooked me up with a sweet deal and I’ll be heading back for more!
These guys are the best! I purchased a used piano from them years ago. It has given me many many hours of joy. They have a huge collection of the electronic pianos (Rolands) that are so popular today (they dont have to be tuned and many have weighted pedals!) They also have a small but nice collection of piano music. There are lessons going on all the time. What more could anyone ask for?
Had a wonderful first experience at the store. This was due to the knowledge, willingness, and support of the staff and the selections they offer. Tons of V-Drum and keyboards to test and choose from. They will work to get you the best deal all while delivering extraordinary customer service. 5/5
I purchased a Roland electric piano. When I went to the store to purchase a standard piano, I was shown that and also exposed to the electric, which was slightly cheaper and had WAY more capabilities. The staff did not pressure me but showed be all the options. They allowed me to play any of the ones in the store so I could get comfortable with my decision. After the purchase, the piano was delivered on time and in perfect condition. I have had zero problems with it. I have gone back to the store to purchase music and the staff has been very polite, helpful and not pushy.Overall, a fantastic purchase experience and I will go back for my next purchase.
I purchased a Yamaha C5 from Britt at Capital Music Center in July 2014. My wife and I are very happy with the piano. We had been looking for a piano for a couple years but were unable to find one in really good shape at a fair price in south Louisiana. We discovered the piano at Capital Music Center online. The piano is/was in pristine condition.......just like Britt advertised. We are very satisfied with our purchase.
What an exceptional business! It is too often these days that businesses treat customers as a burden and it almost feels like you are bothering folks by asking them for service. I called in today with an interest in financing a piano for my boy and Britt was so very helpful. I explained that my credit wasnt great but he never changed his tone and continued to put me through the credit app process. Once completed, he explained that he didnt have the color of the model that I was interested in but made it clear that he was going to do what it takes to get it for me. I later changed my mind on color and called him back. Even after changing the plan mid-process, he was really helpful and began making arrangements to have the piano delivered to me; regardless of the fact that I live 145 miles away. Once we settled all of the details, we spoke about the area that I live in and how I liked it. It was small talk, but more quaint and almost as if I was speaking with a friend. It was nice to be doing business with a real person and not a robot who was trained to go through the mechanics of the sales process and move on. The icing on the cake was that they are obviously going out of their way (usually only deliver 45 miles out, and run on a short time schedule with their crew) to ensure that my boy gets his piano in one piece. They had the option to simply say we only ship by UPS, but Britt was concerned that it would arrive damaged. We are a VERY musical family and I certainly have many choices much closer to me for purchasing instruments and supplies. However, I will now be choosing Capital Music Center for all of my music purchases; in spite of the distance. Customer service of this magnitude is priceless!
I take drum lessons from Jared, and he is the most patient person in the world! I am 65 years old, and even though I have played the piano my entire life, drumming is quite different! He is very knowledgeable about drumming techniques, and lets me pick music that I enjoy listening to so that I can play the drums along with it! Its so much fun! Everyone in the store is friendly and helps me to find piano music for my own piano students. I love this store!
I wanted to learn to play drums but wasn’t sure I’d love it. CMC offered lessons and rent-to-buy Roland V-Drums. It was a low-risk way to try it out. So I took six months of lessons and at the end I could either return the drums or put all my rental payments toward buying them. I just went ahead and bought the drums and I’m still taking the lessons. Couldn’t have imagined being so happy! Rock on, CMC!
My experience thus far with Capital Music for my piano lessons has been a great one. I love being able to work on whatever pieces I prefer. Todd, my instructor, is clearly very knowledgeable and able to translate theory into practical application.Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to rekindle their love of playing, or to get started.
My son started piano lessons here when he was in 6th grade. He continued through middle school and high school and enjoyed it the entire time.We started out renting the piano until we knew that he was going to continue with the lessons. We then bought the piano. We still have it and it works great.Hes continued with his music into college and I know that much of that was due to his teacher and Capital Music Center.
My daughter Caroline was a Capital Music piano student from third grade through high school graduation. Their program is quite good and it has been a pleasure watching her advance musically each of those years. Todd Becker in particular has been a great teacher, but I am confident the others are just as good. I am happy to support a local business like Capital Music -- their unique business model really connects them to the community.
Excellent selection of many levels of pianos and offer a number of financing choices to fit your needs as well as your budget. Manager and Sales staff are knowledgable, practical and help you determine your needs for rent/purchase that best fits you and your piano players.Teaching staff are excited and enthusiastic engagers of students and provide a healthy, inspiring environment that encourages kids to learn to their best ability.Full-service offerings and experts in all - thanks!-Matt Fogle
I like to try out sheet music before I buy it because sometimes stuff looks good but doesnt sound quite the way I like it. I never have any problems browsing sheet music and then playing through some of it on one of the pianos. At other music stores in town Ive been told not to play (Im a professional pianist, its not like Im playing Chopsticks on a loop!). They have a great selection of music - I never leave disappointed!
Our oldest daughter has been taking after school piano lessons through Capital Music Groups program, and it has been an excellent experience. Her teachers have been very nice, and solid teachers. They teach group lessons using Roland pianos that have an iPad like interface which tracks what notes they are playing, shows them the music as they play through it, and has several other interactive educational features. They can use headphones, or listen to each other in turn or together. It has been a super effective way for her to learn. She was sight reading music within the first year. And the iPad like interface made it really appealing to practice at home. And now I have another thing I admire about Capital Music Center: my daughter left and forgot her piano music bag at the South location of NXNW restaurant. A kind employee there named Michael found only the name of Capital Music Center and her first name on the bag, and so called Capita Music Center with that info to tell them about the abandoned bag. Then Britt at Capital Music Center was so decent as to go through their student records, and deduce who she must be, and give me a call to let me know about her missing but found bag. That was really diligent of both guys to make that effort, and I am so grateful. And, it turns out when I went to write a nice note to the store manager of Capital Music Center about how much I appreciate their employee, Britt, well, it turns out he IS the store manager. SO I wanted to put the word out there with a positive review shout out.SO, Capital Music Center: they have a great after school piano program, and their store is run by a good person. Thanks, Britt!
If you are looking for honest and outstanding customer service you have found it here. We have been a customer for over 15 years and Britt has never disappointed. He knows what he is talking about and can guide you in a non- bias way to find the instrument of your dream.
I drive over an hour into town for a 30 minute piano lesson with Ingrid. Capital has the best people, the best teachers, the best equipment and the best service for the best experience anywhere. Im not lucky enough to have a natural gift for music, but enjoy my struggle anyway because of the environment and encouragement I find at Capital.Sarita Shipe
Got a roland digital piano, that looks and sounds like a piano, that had been rented to someone but was still basically new, for 1150$ installed in my house and they took the old thing away. That was 1/3 what Id expected to spend. Looks great, sounds great, and now the grandkids can learn to play. So Im thrilled. I trust the guys that work here.
Teddy is a drum teacher that really tries and is adaptive to the students needs. Great for beginners. There did seem to be strong disconnect between Capital Music mgmt and the actual drum lessons. The required music purchase was way too easy. The required monthly rental of the music tutor (music slower downer) whether you used it or not was robbery. There are free tools online to slow down music, so the random emails from Brin @ Cap Music attempting to sell the music tutor outright was obnoxious and insult to injury given that it was a reminder of how pointless renting the tutor is.Ultimate complaint - you are charged a flat fee per month regardless of the weeks per month or holidays. Its lazy accounting at the customers expense. Booooo!

2022-08-09If you want to buy a piano, this is place is it! I have bought two pianos over the last three years and I had a great experience working with Britt. He is extremely knowledgeable and was very patient answering all of my questions and making the purchase process trivial. The delivery was an excellent experience. Showed up on time, he was very polite, professional and took the time to give us a quick overview of our new piano. He did not leave until he made sure everything was set just right and my wife and I were ok with things. The Piano that we ended up was a Roland HP704. We have only played it a little but my wife’s first comment after trying it out was “wow … the keyboard!” It really is a great keyboard with very nice feel. We have not played it much yet all yet, but from the few things we have tried we are sure we will enjoy it for many years to come.I can’t recommend Capital Music Center enough! Many thanks for everything.

2021-12-21Their customer service is awesome. Because it has many experiences to sell digital pianos for long time as a local store, all staffs are expert, they offer good warranty policies, delivery is fantastically fast, and they solve the problem until we are happy. Also, they have enough inventories to choose best products and options for customers. Especially, one of managers, Giuseppe immediately responded to our requests and did his best to satisfy us. Definitely, I think it is one of the best digital piano dealers in Austin area.

2022-02-14I ordered an Roland Mini Digital Grand Piano. It was the easiest ordering process, they came to my house and set it up. Did not leave a mess and very kind on instructions about the piano including maintenance and use of the instrument. The piano it self is amazing just what we were envisioning looks amazing in the home. It took less than 20mins in and out. I highly recommend this company to many of my friends, very professional and officiant.

2022-03-11Amazing digital piano delivered on the same day I ordered it. And they had no problem with my request to switch out the bench after the order. I could not be more satisfied, I definitely recommend anyone looking for a great instrument to do business with Capital Music!

2022-03-02My son had outgrowing his “beginner” piano and Capital Music helped us choose an appropriate one for him. They delivered it promptly and explained how the lease to buy option would benefit us until we were certain that it was worth the investment. After 6 months they provided great several options to buy or continue with a finance plan.

2021-10-22Just a bit about myself - I am a new adult student to piano. Its always been a dream of mine to learn. It was a bit daunting at first (looking for a teacher, picking a piano, etc) since no one in my friends/family in Austin played piano.Capital Music Center through the help of Giuseppe helped guide me on my piano buying experience. They helped me pick the right one for my specific budget and also helped me determine which features are key to make this a worthwhile investment. There was never a pressure to buy on the spot and they encourage you to try the different pianos they have in the store. After selecting a piano, delivery of the piano was also seamless (next day) and I was surprised to see that the sales person even went out of his way to come with the delivery team to ensure that my piano was handled carefully and everything was in order.Since I got my piano, customer service with them has been great and theyve always helped answer questions I have. I still come by from time to time to get some books and materials. One notable thing Id like to share is whenever I come by, they make it a point to treat me as a customer on a first name basis. This really goes above and beyond I expect from a store.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for Pianos whether youre a total beginner or a seasoned professional.

2022-05-17Capital Music Center was recommended by our music teacher and they didn’t disappoint. Catherine was very informative and patient with us on our Roland piano purchase for my son. Definitely would recommend them to anyone. Great experience.

2021-09-19We had a great experience here. Our 7 year old is starting piano lessons for the first time and we needed to get her a piano to practice on. We didn’t have any idea how to choose. They set us up with a great little digital piano rental that she just loved! And their rent to own process is great if we end up wanting to purchase the piano later on. Highly recommended.

2021-05-01Great experience with Catherine and Rick! If you are returning to piano after 25 years as I am, or beginning with piano, their patience and expertise is very helpful. You can try out any of their digital pianos with headphones if you dont want anyone to hear you playing. Catherine answered all my questions and showed me how great my Roland piano can sound with her beautiful playing. They have everything you need to get started, including a nice selection of sheet music. Im so happy that I found my piano at Capital Music!

2020-01-18We went in today to buy a piano bench. The man behind the counter immediately greeted us, but explained he’d be a few minutes as he was working alone. He went on to apologize a few times for the wait while helping the customer before us. The wait was perfectly reasonable but I appreciate how concerned he was with customer service. He ended up selling us our preferred piano bench at a great price. This was after returning two poorly made piano benches to Amazon. We should have gone to a brick and mortar store first, I appreciate service like that. We will definitely be back for future piano needs.
