Firestone Complete Auto Care in other cities:
BUYER BEWARE or shall I stay take your car here at your own risk! So a friend of mine has a 2015 Impala hes driven for 5 years, never no major problems. Something happened and the solenoid had to replace, cost him $750. Okay paid, drove off. 2 days later, the car runs hot, no coolant. Mind you he just had a full service 2 weeks prior no coolant leak detected. The car has never ran hot. Went there with an oil leak, left with a coolant leak. Somebody lying. There theives doing dishonest work. They wanted to charge him $1300 but they only got $700 so they sabotage his car so he could come back and try to milk him for more money. I told him not to go to no chain mechanic because they are known for doing this.
This is my first visit in 20 years to a firestone facility. There was a long wait but the staff was courteous and very professional and was willing to work with you on a timeline to sit too and not having to spend long hours waiting at the facility. I will go back again.
Updated July 2020: After four more visits for maintenance on my two vehicles, I am ever more impressed with the teams high competence, professionalism, integrity, and respectful service. Thank you again to the manager and entire team.Original Review from 2019: The team at 5505 S. Cooper St., Arlington, TX, have provided superb service at a very competitive price every time I have been there over the last six months. Manager Victor, Asst Manager Mason, and Technicians Wheeler, Morgan, and Jason all have been exceedingly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable every time Ive entered the store. They have identified issues that other mechanics have missed, and have offered helpful guidance without putting any pressure on me. They have always stood behind their work, and have proven themselves conscientious in holding themselves to a very high standard. I know it sounds trite, but they are truly not satisfied until the customer is satisfied. Whether doing routine, low-level maintenance like oil changes, or replacing a rack and pinion to cure a power steering leak, they offer great service at a better than fair price. I am very impressed.
My Sales Advisor and all other customer service were very professional and respectful with my time and money. They took the time to answer all my questions and explained to me what was going on with my car. I feel like I can trust them and can state that with confidence. I have already recommended this Firestone to people I know and felt comfortable doing so.
I went in for simple services and they identified a major problem that could have been life threatening. They were able to get it repair all in the same day. Friendly, knowledgeable staff make you feel at ease that they have your best interest in mind. Thank you, am on my way to pick my car up now!
These details are on the Firestone on South Cooper near Green Oaks. Our reception was warm and our complaints addressed completely. Social distancing was being practiced effectively. The restroom was clean and well stocked. The completion time we were quoted was accurate. All complaints were resolved as agreed. The staff was cordial and easy to talk to and work with. I highly recommend this shop for value and great customer service.
This firestone is one of the CLEANEST car places i’ve ever been into. the only car place that smells clean and not like dirt and oil. All the employees were very nice and the manager Jason was very respectful and professional. I appreciate business places like this, especially right now!
Absolute best customer service there is. They stayed almost an hour late just to work on my car so I could pick it up the same day. They always have great discounts and such. They havent seen me in a few years but still remember me and the car I had. They have military discounts and theyre just all around incredible. I love that you dont have to wait around for them either. They give you an estimated time which is pretty much always accurate and then still call you and keep you updated. I dont know if its just this location or what, but I love them and well always bring my cars here
Check engine light came on. I pulled over, lifted the hood and determined....yep...the engines still there. Closed the hood, got back into the car but the light remained on. Welp. Who to turn to? None other than my friends at Firestone off Cooper Street in Arlington. The team at Firestone is always fast and friendly and offer the best service however I have to say, Victor really takes customer service to the next level. Victor is helpful, knowledgeable and trustworthy. And guess what? He remembered me from the last time I was in to service one of our vehicles. Wait, what?! I go to the same grocery store every week, see the same cashiers on a regular basis and its like I just arrived from another planet - they never remember me. Uggh! But Victor...he did! Phenomenal! And it had been months since Id been in. Heres a big shout out to Victor for providing next level service to me and everyone else he encounters and to the entire team at Firestone. You guys ROCK! I appreciate you all! Thank you!
Appreciated the last minute oil change, tire rotation and fast service done while I handled some work out of town. I didnt want to drive back to Houston without my oil changed and tires rotated, so the fact that the manager (the guy with beard) got me in just before they closed was great. Gave me a great deal and sent me on my way.I honest didnt care much for the attitudes of the other guys working there, but the one Gentlemen with the clear and caring voice (and the beard) is definitely the man to deal with. He gets stuff done and is obviously passionate about great customer service.Make sure you check for coupons online or by calling in, for instance, The Bearded Gentlemen was basically able to knock off almost $30 from a nearly $80 job, which was immensely helpful to me. I can definitely tell that some of the bad press these guys got was from a while back, so come in and give em another shot. I usually do my own work when I can and so can recognize a good job when I see it. These guys seemed to do a good job. 👍🏼Besides, if my tires fall off or my engine throws a rod on my drive back to Houston, you know Ill be back here telling everyone about it (unless it kills me, then Ill have my Wife do it). 😇P.S. Someone did mention the mileage issue in their review on here and I did experience that myself, although its not a huge deal, I think the tech who worked on my car might need glasses or something, since he apparently put my current mileage on my window sticker as 99,179 when my current mileage was actually 75,229 or right in that ballpark. I tried to do the math to make the listed mileage workout (in case he was listing my next oil change), but it made no sense whatsoever. 🤷🏻♂️ Again, not really a big deal, but just check with The Beard and make sure the mileage on your paperwork is done correctly.
I have been here twice in the last year and had friendly service both times. They seem to be honest to their customers. (I waited on my car the first time. So I heard many conversations they had with other customers.) They do their best to get you in and out while maintaining quality service. Unless you can leave your car or have hours to wait, I recommend making an appointment. Ive heard them turn several walkins away because they had so many appointments and/or the person couldnt wait there several hours. My first visit was on a Friday afternoon for an oil change and alignment. I might have had them rotate the tires too, but cant remember. I had an appointment and I waited 2-3 hours. The second time was for an oil change and alignment. I had a Saturday morning appointment for 9:00. I dropped it off and it was ready by 12:30 or so.
Poor brake rotor quality, steerimg wheel starts to shake after 1 year of them putting new rotor and pads. They recommended to have the rotors replaced which cost $360. Ive only driven 14,000 miles since they replaced the pads and rotor. I asked to have the rotor resurfaced but the technician insisted it to be replaced. I went somwhere else for rotor resurface and the problem was solved. They also tore the engine splash shield ifeom my other car instead of removing it so they can easily access the engine to drain fluids. I had to take it back and they put a wire on it to keep it from sagging. I paid good money to get my car serviced and these are what I got. Disappointed.
Called them for a quote on a battery and install, brought my car by an hour later without an appointment and they got me in right away. I was in and out within about 45 minutes. No gimmicks, no extra charges, no upselling. Just honest, quick work. Would definitely use them again!
I shopped around and they had my tires in stock and at a great price. They were nice and Im front about what needed to happen with my car. My issue is that I scheduled an appointment but it still took them an hour to start my car. Then it took 1.5 hours to do what the guy at the counter said would take 45 minutes.
This was my first time every visiting a Firestone and I really am glad I did. There prices are amazing! I got a full set of tires, alignment, and courtesy check. I like the warranty they offer on the alignment 12 months they even offer a lifetime one. On their website they have great coupons offers also!
In addition to the other services, I asked for an inspection. After completing the transaction and getting in my car to leave, I noticed that there was NOT a Courtesy Check document attached to others. The primary documents did not have any indication that an alignment (which I paid for) or a tire thread check (which I requested) had been done. When I came back in and inquired about the Courtesy Check document, I was provided excuses about how busy the location was during the entire day. Never mind I was told I could bring my car at 1:30 pm (which I did) and it was there for over three hours (4:50 pm). I also had a break light that was not working. However, this was not mentioned in the Courtesy Check (which they conveniently found under the counter after I had paid and come back in to the store) nor did I receive a call asking if I wanted them to fix it for a fee. They, the experts, did an inspection and did not discover a faulty broken tail light. What made the exchange with Jason (who I was conversing with) go from bad to worse was the voluntary insertion of an employee named Mason who said that my search for clarity was rude. He himself was very rude and presented a threatening posture. It is obvious that Mason needs more customer service training and experience.Although I have been a Firestone customer for more that two decades, I will never come back to this location and may be done with Firestone completely. There are too many competitors in DFW to deal with the incompetence of this location and certainly with employees as rude and threatening as Mason.
Experiences at this location is incredible on a Sunday Morning, The Team of professions is a positive & direct reflection of the store manager Victor. From Jason and Morgan I was well taken care of, including the Alignment Tech. Recommend Highly to visit this for your Tires and Auto Service, you will not be disappointed.
The guys were friendly and courteous. Talked to me and actually listened to my feelings about what I though the problems were with my car. Checked my car quickly and then discussed what they had found and told me what my options were. I was very pleased with their evaluation, repairs and pricing was excellent. I would definitely recommend this location to friends.
Im kind of shocked by all of the positive reviews.. i called the day prior made an appointment for the following day at 9am. Saturday 9am bring my car in all seems well. At 230pm i get a call they are about to finish up my alignment. I show up at 3 they had just put my car on the rack hadn’t even started on my car that they have had for 6 hours.... they did manage to change my oil
Wife took our car Monday to get an A/C vent in the dash checked, when she got it back the Radio did not work. Was told to bring it back late Wednesday afternoon but when my wife got there she was told the tech had already gone home for the day. They told her to come back the next day, she did and they tried to send her away again. After pushing back they agreed to take it in, and quickly came back claiming the radio going out in the 1-2 hours they had it was purely coincidence even tho they were checking out something behind the dash. Refused to take any responsibility, I’ll never go back, let them around your car at your own risk.
I came in for an oil change. They were quick and did the job.My problem was while the guy at the front desk was trying to up sale me (which I understand thats their job) he then told me that the mechanic wrote down that my brake fluid cap was missing. I was extremely taken back by that. So I questioned it and he said its missing and he could order it for $37. I know I could get that cheaper somewhere else so I said no. He then precedes to say that I need to get that cap asap or fluid is going to spill out when Im driving. So I was pretty concerned. When I get in my car I drive straight to Autozone to buy a cap but before I buy, I lift the hood to double check. And ot course, there is my brake fluid reservoir with a cap on it. To say I was annoyed is an understatement. It just shows that companies dont care about their customers. They just care about money. And to top it off, on the notes the mechanic wrote it said recommend master cylinder cap. Why would he tell me its missing if the mechanic just recommended one? If I would have payed $37 for it, he would have just tossed my old one and put the new one on without me knowing it was still there. Very sneaky. I will not return.
Updated July 2019:You all rock! Everyone is so professional and personable. I never feel pressured or condescension ever - thats why Ive been going to only this location for the last 3 years = trust and credibility. Each staff member is attentive, efficient, and can hold reasonable small conversation = they conduct business but make you feel welcomed simultaneously, consistently. This is how every location should be. Clean facilities, no nonsense without being rushed or trivial. Great car maintenance experience each time. Morgan helped on this visit; no complaints.
Love the worker and the place but i am a little taken back on the price of labor. I was in that store on June 27 and have my van repaired. the Part for the van was 132.99. The LABOR cost was 336.00. My wan was only there for 3 hours! You mean to tell me you pay your technicians over 100 an hour?! could you please explain that to me. I really dont understand the labor cost for 3 hours of work that justifies 336.00. To be honest it actually was less than 3 hours . I really want an explanation on why labor is so high compared to other shops!
Brooks Maxwell was an amazing sales rep to work with. He is completely knowledgeable and so friendly. He makes the entire experience worth it. Everyone there is super friendly also, I just happened to work with Brooks! I recommend this place 100 %! They are efficient, their work is flawless and I’m def going back!
Friendly staff but super long wait times and they always seem to find a reason to not fix a tire and always want to sell you a new one. I purchased all 4 tires from here and they want me to buy a brand new in less than a year of use. I think ill start taking my vehicles elsewhere.
They will lie to get you pay for unnecessary work, they charge allot for said work, and if you are fool enough to go there make sure you check the mileage they right on your receipt because they but down 10000 less miles than my truck had which pretty much made the warranty on the labor void within 2 weeks for me, but they made sure the part had a lifetime warranty to try and get me to go back when the poor quality break pads go bad in less than a year. Another dishonest repair shop to avoid.
Terrible service... I had an issue with my car’s ac so I brought it to them. They “fixed” it, but then three months later it would mess up again and they’d find a new problem. Ended up coming back 3 more times and spent around $4000 on “new” problems. When confronting them about this the manager and two other employees all talked back and gave me attitude and talked to me like I had no clue what I was talking about. Horrible service and I will not be taking my car there again.
I take a SUV to them for prepurchase inspection, they give a good report, nothing wrong with it ,good buy.I bought the vehicle the next day as I was backing up I heard noise under the hood. I take it to the dealership and they found over $2000.00 in required repair.I take the SUV back to Firestone asking them to check it again they id8ntfy the same problem the dealership found but they wont take any responsibility not even refund the service charge they changed meDont go there never use Firestone again ever.Should they pointed out this issue at the time before I bought the SUV I would have not bought it.
I would absolutely recommend to anyone!! I spoke to three different people while I was there to drop my car off and pick it up, and all three of them were SUPER nice and helpful. The only name I got was Reggies. He was very friendly and got me in and out of there with absolutely no hassle or trying to sell me more than I wanted. It was my first time there and I will for sure be going back for anything else I need.
Needed to get 4 new tires and they completed the job ahead of time. I had asked that it be ready by noon and they called me by 8:30 in the morning. We had left a vehicle overnight so they got on it first thing in the morning. Not only did they do new tires but they also did alignment. They didnt try to oversell me anything as I had already got a quote for the tires from another location previously. The only issue that I had was that I also needed to do a state inspection but they could not do it as they had reached their limit. I have never heard of a limit for state inspections however they were willing to get me in the first time they were available in a week or so.
I have been going to these guys for 2 years now. Im always satisfied with every transaction I have with Fireatone Complete Auto Care. What keeps me going back to this location is Brooks. He always provides me with top notch customer service. Goes above and beyond. Talked to him on the phone briefly about new tires, when I arrived in person he had several choices for me to choose from, already pulled up on the computer. Made sure I was happy with my selection and everything. Thanks again Brooks.- Devin
Unbelievable. Check engine light came on on my 2001 Camry and I immediately pulled into this Firestone on S Cooper, which charged me $99 to diagnose the problem. The estimate was $857 for an evaporation canister, a vent control solenoid and a new gas cap. But before I could bring it back for the work to be done, a friend from my church group told me that Firestone had scammed her because she was ignorant about cars and sent me to another place where she knew the owner. I drove my car in to this mechanic shop in Pantego and he told me that the engine light was on because I didnt tighten my fuel cap down all the way and that there was a hose disconnected from the evaporation area. No charge.
Paid 90$ for a years worth of steering realignment. Had to bring my car back 3 times within a 3 month period and after the 3 visits, my steering STILL was out of alignment. Went to Christian Brothers Automotive and paid 80$ for them to do it and they got it right 1st time no problems whatsoever. Never going to another mechanic again.
The wors custumer servirse ever, víctor made me wait 10 minutes so he can be on The phone talking to a friend talking about The weekend and finally when it was my turn tell me to get on my phone and made The call so my company can pay for The servirse of my car unreal.
To start with what i have to say about this place, I will not recommend this place at all, first of all I took my truck for alignment and first call i get from them is that i need work on my suspension trying to take a eye out of my head, so i didnt want them to work on the repairs they said i need , so they called me to pick up the truck saying that they did the best they could, so pay $100 for it, start driving and the truck was driving worse making noise so when back and told them just to set it the way that it was before and all he say was we can do closer but didnt do anything so at this point I pay for nothing and never email me my receipt or anything, honestly I took the truck to my friend shop to lift it to see if they did something and cant see not even a bolt that they move thanks for nothing!!!!
The guys working there have amazing customer service and go out of the way to help the community. We called a few places around to try to get my daughter’s wagon tires full of air and they just said no.We called firestone and they said absolutely. When we got there they were happy to help and it was super fast.
Ive been to this Firestone 3 times now. Every time I always get excellent customer service. When I got tires and brakes done on a budget, they worked with me to make sure I could afford it by finding coupons and deals. Ill be coming back to this Firestone for any issues I have with my vehicle.
Firestone is great. They never charge you for anything you didnt ask for, they usually have my car taken care of within an hour or so. The employees are always thorough in explaining what they will be doing to the car and what they are charging you for. I wouldnt go anywhere else!
1952 Chevy truck, has Cragar wheels, they told me they can’t change tires on cragar wheels and If they did it would take ALL day, I worked at a dealership for 10 years, I’ve never heard something so dumb. I understand it’s not your every day vehicle but there is nothing hard about it, if done many custom wheels over the years, this is one of the easier ones. No to mention corvette tires. Went 2 doors down to Discount Tire, boom in and out 45 mins
Recently I was looking for @place to get a good set of tire and I stop by this Firestone were I get good attitude, good price and exelete service, thanks to Morgan for the premium ser.and Andy for the professional mechanic serv.Definitely I recommend this place and I looking forward get my daughter car tires new at this Firestone car care service.
I went to this location after having a problem at a different location and the area manager, service manager and all of the employees were very awesome. They went above and beyond to make sure my safety was put first. I really appreciate the hospitality. And work you all done to satisfy me and to get me back on the road!!! Great team!
Ive been to this location a couple times and Ive been very satisfied with the care they have given me. The wait was not long and the employees were very helpful and patient with me not to mention polite since I showed up less than an hour before closing time... They are cheaper than any of the other ten places I called also! I definitely will be going back to this location.
I wouldnt recomend anyone going to this location. While they did have good proces on tires, it didnt make up for them breaking my breaks. When my husband took our truck to them our breaks were fine and after leaving they are trash. Dont go to this locationThats my opinion...
I am picky about who services my cars... I do most of my work myself, partially because I like to do it, partially because I have trust issues with auto shops. Unfortunately for me, I dont have an alignment rack or tire balancer, so sometimes I have no choice, so I have to take it in. Ive been taking my vehicles to this Firestone on Cooper, for about 3 years for those items. They have always been professional, and done the job right.

2022-07-06Ive been taking my car to this Firestone for quite some time. I guess due to no one wanting to work and short staff comes short patience. I literally had to wait 5 hours for an oil change and tire balancing... only to get a call on the 5th hr to say itll take an additional 2 hours to do the tire balancing. So much for great customer service anymore. Moral of the story...be prepared to leave your car for 8 hours.

2021-10-29Brought my 1st vehicle here to have an oil change it was extremely slow, 3 hours. The employee stated that due to staffing issues all services are taking longer than normal. I observed the mechanics goofing off, going for smoke breaks while they have cars on lifts. I gave them a second chance. I brought our second vehicle in for an oil change. BIG MISTAKE!! 4 hours later I get a call my vehicle is ready. BUT my in cabin air filter was filthy and would cost $75 plus labor to change a $20 air filteri Mind you they already took the part off to check it. I pick up my vehicle and it stinks like cigarettes! I don’t smoke. About a week later I noticed a puddle under my vehicle. I called Firestone and let them know something was not right. The manager told me to bring it back. I did. The mechanic pulled my vehicle in to the bay and just couldn’t get my vehicle lined up to the hoist. Finally he gets the hoist somewhat lined up and starts to lift my vehicle. The technician that’s supposed to be ASE certified didn’t have the hoist properly placed as my vehicle was being lifted it fell forward and hit the ground. The technician then told me I had a really bad transmission leak. Unfortunately the technician that’s supposed to be ASE CERTIFIED does not know the difference between oil and transmission fluid!! ASE CERTIFIED Nope! My vehicle was taken to a dealership that handles my vehicle and so far I’m looking at $1200 + in damage. By the way isn’t it against your company policy to smoke in the bays ?? So here’s a photo of the master mechanic smoking a cigarette in the bay playing on his phone at 8:16 in the morning while charging a customer hourly to repair their vehicle. Thank you for the overpriced oil change and the damage to my vehicle.

2022-04-20I set an appointment with this company, in my confirmation email it stated that I would get a call to confirm. I never received this call so I called them to verify the email. When I called, the employee picked up and said, “I don’t see an appointment here for you.”I asked to give my reference number and he said no need because he did actually find my appointment. After that, he proceeded to say “yeah, that time isn’t gonna work. You should come a little closer to five because we start closing around your appointment time. you’ll have to come earlier.”(I just chose the time that was listed online. If it’s not available, don’t list it.)I specifically took off work an hour early to make the 6 o’clock appointment that was listed on their website when I made the appointment initially.I stated that I’ll just cancel the appointment since it’s not available. And asked for his name (Dante)He proceeded to say that I can come anyways if I wanted to but it might be a wait, due to the fact that there was other people with appointments.I told him I didn’t understand since I had set an appointment. He said “like I said, you can still come if you want, but I prefer you come as early as possible. The time you set is too close to when we close.”Will not be scheduling with this company again due to lack of professionalism, customer service and obvious confusion on their closing time.

2020-08-27I spent $600 on 4 new tires last Thursday. Then, I turned that investment into a net gain of $750+ on my trade in when I flipped that ride for a new 2020 VW SUV. This team is awesome! Theyll tell you about your whole car and help you make better decision for it. You just have to ask.

2022-04-09They forgot to add oil to my car when I had an oil change and my engine blew up. It was a 40k car. Low miles. Don’t go there. Worst thing is that they laughed about it. Told me to buy a new engine or a new car. Ridiculous.

2022-01-27I mean this when I say this, PLEASE DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS FIRESTONE.Them folks will always and I mean always try to upsell you in things that most of the time dont even make sense or even need to be fixed at all. I took brand new 4 sets of tires and asked for a simple check since one of my tire pressure lights was on. I knew that all I needed was a little air in my tires due to the cold Texas weather but I was curious on how much they would try to upsell me. They told me, (AFTER 4 HOURS OF WAITING FOR A SIMPLE TIRE CHECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!) the trim was low, the back 2 tires were needing to be changed as it would be unsafe if I didnt, and the kicker was that they told me I needed an oil change when I literally got one 2 days prior to the visit from a local mechanic. If VICTOR calls you, just ignore what he tells you and just know hes looking to get more money from you. I HEAVILY HEAVILY HEAVILY and stress this enough HEAVILY recommend you to go to any other mechanic shop then firestone.

2022-06-29Great customer service. They had the job done in two hours.
