While the physicians and nurses are great customer service is lacking. I called to try and get a doctors excuse over the phone (I live out of town, I visited this place because I was visiting Edinburg). The receptionist was quick to say uh huh, okay, bye bye without having me explain my situation.
Fast and efficient, filled out all my forms online and was seen quickly. The staff is friendly and the physician who saw me was excellent. He explained everything that they were doing what he was prescribing me! I highly recommend coming here.
Staff was really nice and helpful! Person working in the front was really nice and welcoming. Environment was really comforting and they treated me really fast, was in and out in no time.
Sunday, March 13th.The girl who took me inside to get temperature, etc. lacks all the manners. I dont know who or what she is cause she didnt introduce herself, she couldnt even say hello after I did. The rest of the staff are nice every time Ive been there before, though. Service is always quick. 👍🏼
The staff was extremely friendly. Nobody wants to have to spend time in an urgent care facility, but they made my time enjoyable and so would definitely recommend them 10 times out of 10.
Wait time once your inside the room can feel like forever but other than that, really good honest feedback and hospitable clinicians! Definitely my first go to if it isn’t my personal family clinician.
Great service, takes a little while to get u if there is a lot of people, but I think that pretty much anywhere now... But once I was in it only took 20 mins
Even though the wait was super long, as to be expected for the amount of people testing, they were super organized and kind! The young lady taking my vitals was very quick and gentle as well as professional. And the female Doctor Who examined me and gave me my results was super friendly and helpful! Thank you CareNow! I was very pleased with the care I recieved from CareNow Urgent Care. The wait was not long. I found the technicians to be interested in my well being. The diagnosis was exact and the plan to alleviate my pain worked. I would highly recommend this facility.

I had surgery less than 4 weeks ago and pain meds gave me an ulcer. I went in on my PCPs orders and was physically assaulted by the doctor!! There is NO reason to be that rough to begin with let alone somone that just had extensive abdominal surgery less than a month ago!!! Is he TRYING to cause surgery complications!? I had been able to get my pain meds down to minimal levels since surgery but I just had to take the highest dose possible after his exam. I went in for a continuing ulcer issue you DONT need to be punching around on my PELVIS!!! And to top it off when I told him to stop he proceeded to cross his arms and block the door!!

I went to go get a RAPID COVID TEST, since i started feeling feverish yesterday afternoon. i got there early, at 7:40AM, and there was a line of about 25 people already. the line moved fast because people were being sent to their vehicles to fill out their paperwork -the trick to this is to DO THE WEB CHECK-IN AND REGISTRATION PAPERWORK ONLINE! i did and when it was my turn, they just told me to wait on my car, to be called for the test. after i waited, the process was fast and thorough. the staff was very polite and nice. i WOULD recommend this place.
Other than the waiting time to be seen which was bad, but with things as they are I don’t guess it could be helped.The staff, once we were seen was very pleasant to deal with and knowledgeable of their job. Overall it was a good visit.
Went in to get some stitches. They were done in about 3 hours. Probably took longer because it was my first visit. Corteous service.
Ive been here three times and they have always been quick and very nice. Always clean as well. They let me wait inside my car when I brought my 2-year-old in which was very helpful. Its a great option outside of your primary care.
Dr. Alma was thorough with me and the whole visit was quick. I felt very comfortable with her as she has excellent bedside manner. I will definitely come back if I need urgent care services again.
My family doctor was out of time for the holidays and thankfully I found this new location near my house.I was so pleasantly surprised at the quality care of this facility. First thing I noticed it was spotlessly clean; even the bathroom. The Receptionist was friendly and helpful even with my harder questions. The male nurse who attended to me careful explained everything he was doing and going to do. I complimented him on how he put me at ease and explained each test. He simply said “that is our job to help you be at ease. That is all part of our training and a priority.” Honestly I never had a nurse give such helpful guidance through a doctor’s visit here South Texas. They always seem rushed and understandably so as they see such a high volume of patients. As this new urgent care facility grows I hope they maintain this same quality care.I also was impressed with the PA as she answered al my questions and showed real concern. I would return here without a doubt and highly recommend them to anyone.

Easy to make an appointment online and waited at home. Waited in my car about 30 minutes after I showed up. Considering how swamped they are with covid ramping up this was beyond reasonable to me. PA Heather Davis-Lopez had a great bedside manner.
GREAT EXPERIENCE! Extremely clean. They are still taking proper COVID measures which is very reassuring. Although there were a couple of people in front of me when I walked in, the entire consult was still fairly quick. I was in and out within a the hour. Alma Jimenez, the PA, was polite, empathetic, and very knowledgeable! The medical assistant was also very helpful. Overall, great experience. I am glad I walked in today. ☺️
This location is pretty bad about not answering phone calls. Its happened numbers times in the past. CareNow has a bad reputation for this.
Definitely 5 stars! Staff, doctors, nurses treated my husband and I so well. We were greeted as we walked in & out. We’re very pleased to have been treated like humans and not just another “patient”.

Was a little uncomfortable with 6 people waiting in the lobby. I was apprehensive about entering the building. Would feel better if limit lobby to 2-3 max. Accepted my insurance with no problems. Service fast and friendly. The nurse was VERY thorough in her swabbing technique (ouch). PA friendly, reassuring, and knowledgeable.
The staff was very friendly but the wait time was long. I waited almost 3 hours before being seen for a quick drug test screen for employment and a TB test. Once I was taken back the procedure was very quick.
This is the first time that I visit this clinic. There was adequate seating which allowed for social distancing. The front office staff was very efficient as was the medical assistant. She was very kind and friendly. The PA answered all my questions. I will definitely go back four any additional care.

The PA is quite possibly the nicest healthcare provider I have ever met. I appreciate how none of them were scared to treat me. I feel like since COVID doctors are scared to do physical exams. I appreciate how thorough she was and did not blow off my symptoms.

Overall, Ive had a positive experience at this location. They have friendly staff, quick service, wait time was short (maybe 5 mins), and the PAs are thorough and actually listen to you. They have quick COVID testing and are open until 8. So far so good.
The PA seemed in a hurry and not really interested in really knowing why I was there. He just told me what it seemed to him and that was all. It made me uncomfortable and when he asked if I had any questions I said no. I didnt feel right about his attitude that I didnt have any confidence or trust in being attended by him any longer. I am upset that health care providers act like this. I understand its a Friday evening and he wants to be home but I went in because it hurt enough to need care so he can just brush me off, like that to end his shift quicker, since its close to going home.
Got charged $150 to tell me I had a children’s rash (I’m 32) and there’s nothing to do for it. $150 seems a bit ridiculous for being there under 10 min! Also made a comment to me that I was a nurse in the area so I must be making big bucks due to the covid crisis. Money hungry and would NOT recommend the PA here!

Workers were very generous so as the doctor but felt like the doctor didn’t take his time to examine me. Was there for maybe fifteen minutes and didn’t prescribe anything. Would of been nice if he took his time but overall a unforgettable visit.
Came in for a drug screening test for a new nursing contract Im about to travel for. Had a great experience at Care Now in Edinburg. I was nicely greeted as soon as I walked in by, Ida. Checked in on line. Arrived to office at 7:45 a.m. doors were opened promptly at 8 a.m. Marco at front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Nurse was also pleasant and helpful. Dr. Reynoso took all the information he needed, asked questions and took care of all my needs. Very pleasant visit. I would go there again if needed.

I’m new to the area so finding quality health care is really important. I was really impressed with the CareNow Urgent Care very professional, clean and quick to get me in. The staff were very professional and friendly. I felt welcome. The PA was very thorough. I had food poisoning. I was also having some trouble breathing. She ran a COVID test and took chest xrays. She called me later to give me information in regards to the xrays. I was grateful for her persistence as I did not answer the 1st 2 calls. I was in and out in about an hour.

I lost my insurance card & had not realized it. I did have my dental & vision card with me. The male clerk would not call blue cross blue shield. Im the only person in the lobby. Customer service at its best.I went to my car and my husband called for me. Because, obviously Im not feeling well. He got my information in 3 minutes.

I was visiting Edinburg/McAllen and needed medical attention. I’m so glad I stopped at this CareNow location. The staff was extremely friendly, yet professional. The Dr. was amazing. The front desk personnel was on top of sanitizing and checking in people with a big smile. I highly recommend them 💜

Not sure how my review compares to a hectic day because I went in at 8am on a Saturday morning. I was the first one there and got seen right away. All staff members I came in contact with were super helpful and friendly.

I’ve used CareNow in Edinburg several times over the past few months and highly recommend this location. The staff is friendly and the service great. I’ve seen the two providers and all of them were thorough and attentive. And finally, the facility is beautiful.
5 big stars for the office staff! Ask for Alma Jimenez, she will take care of you. They are truly interested in taking care of you.Otherwise: As military I was rejected for rapid test. One star in reference to Javier & Ashley. Each of these PA’s are more interested in sitting behind their workstations, and are completely checked out on courtesy. Make sure to have a witness in the examination room, and/or have your phone on record if you are seen by either of them.
Stopped in clinic today for an illness regarding my feet. Was in out and on my way to pick up prescriptions quick. Professional and friendly staff. Recommend anyone to stop in.

In the medical field, I have found many workers dont really care about you all that much. All the staff here are friendly and you can tell they do their job because they want you to feel better rather than make a buck.
We were sent here for a COVID test from Urgent Care on University because they said they saw it in my husbands lungs through an X-ray. The PA here not only could not access the X-ray through their system but was puzzled to here that he was not actually tested for COVID for the diagnosed they issued. Both he and I tested negative and the diagnose was allergies. His lungs already sounded the whizzing and had a lot of cough with chest pain and I had already started as well. We do get real sick with allergies here in the Valley. I highly recommend this place because they care for the patient and will be coming here next time if and when needed. Thank you every one of you at this clinic for your patience and kind work.
I had an appointment yet when I arrived they told me I had to wait an hour and a half. What’s the point of having an appointment at a certain time and then they tell you to wait as if you’re a walk in. Disappointed!
Wait wasn’t as long as I anticipated. PA was very caring and through in helping me with my illness. Location is convenient and the place is very clean. Don’t mind coming back here when needed.
Poor communication skills; I called ahead to verify that they give out Covid-19 tests. The lady on the phone ensured me that they would - I even told them that my healthcare provider requested I get the test. I covered all my bases to make sure they would give the test. After being told they would, I went to the building and was denied the test, being told by the woman in the front desk that they do not do that there and I would have to see one of their providers.Would not recommend.

It was quick for the nose swab COVID test and really great nurse. They only go an inch deep for the swab and it doesn’t hurt at all. Just a little discomfort but nothing awful.
Went in the morning to I fill out the new patient forms and got appointment to be seen in the afternoon. Was in & out of there within an hour!!!
Possibly the longest wait times Ive ever seen and that is saying something coming from the military. Jeez 8 hours and counting to get seen, watched 3 people who got there after me get seen first.

BAD EXPERIENCE wouldnt recommend this place I had a drug test appointment at 4:49pm i call them as I was instructed to confirm my appointment they told me it didnt matter what time i show up as long it was before closing time it was probably a miscommunication but i still went before my appointment i check in the front desk did everything they instructed me to do fill paperwork send forward the email and waiting while in the waiting area there was a man before me he was complaining of them taking to long a should have seen that as a red flag so ones he got in i ask if they would going to take longer they said about 10 min so i went and checked on my teenage daughter as she was waiting for me I saw a man lurking around my vehicle so i go check on my daughter the guy was asking for money i than take my daughter inside with me ask again how long is it going to take the guy tells me again 10 min so i told him I am going next door getting my daughter something to eat he than calls me so i come back he tells me to wait by the door next to the front desk so i do 10 min later still nothing i ask again is he going to take longer he than say a few min a guy comes out takes my paperwork than 5 min later the guy says sorry u missed ur appointment why didnt you tell me that since the beginning I miss my appointment because they took so long I ask to speak to the manager they told me she is gone for the day I told them to call her just for her to tell me the same thing by that point I am angry and ask why make me wait so long I wouldnt recommend this place at all they arent organized at all and have no management skills

2022-05-24I had always driven by this place but never been. Unfortunately, I needed to get tested for COVID-19 and the staff there were so welcoming and comforting. The doctor was attentive and kind. Probably one of the better places Ive been to in urgent care!! The environment is calming too! Thank you to the staff for seeing me quickly and efficiently!

2022-04-16Its my second time receiving services at CareNow Urgent Care and both times I have received excellent service. Office staff is very professional, very friendly, clean and organized working area, eye wash section noted, RR clean. Mario NP and Christina MA treated me with a high level of professionalism, respect, did great assessment, explained what the plan was, took the necessary precaution of making sure no reactions were noted after administering medications. Proper discharge documentation was given, was politely discharged.

2022-06-25Absolutely amazing service and respectful staff!! The person at the front desk was wonderfully kind and helpful, the back staff was so attentive and respectful. Without a doubt the best doctors visit I have had in my life and that was not what I was expecting at all from a urgent care. I was talked clearly and candidly through all my treatment options and never felt like I was pushed into getting treatment I wasnt comfortable with. I seriously cant recommend this CareNow Urgent Care enough!

2022-07-14I visited Care Now Urgent Care on Mon June 27 because I had tested positive for Covid. They tested there and confirmed the positive test. The staff there were WONDERFUL!! Every single person I saw was efficient, kind and friendly from the lady at the front desk (who was also the X-ray technician) to the PA and two others. I wish I had written their names down. I was very impressed and grateful for the caring service. I highly recommend this Urgent Care located at 293 E. Trenton Rd, Edinburg, TX.

2022-04-23Very clean and fast service. Staff was nice and patient to answer any questions I had. I went in due to worsened common cold symptoms and left feeling more confident in how to manage my symptoms better. They tested me right away for Covid and flu to rule it out. I expected to be treated differently since I was actively sick but no they treated me kindly.

2021-02-03This is the best CareNow I have ever been to. The staff were all super friendly, engaging, and had great bedside manner. The COVID test was not painful due to the care they took during administration. The physician was efficient, the office was clean, and the visit could not have gone smoother. I recommend this location 100%! 💯😁🥳

2022-07-02Came with my mom here to get her seen. There is ONE person in the lobby and these people are TAKING FOREVER to see her. She is in visible pain and they don’t seem to care. All the comments are so glowing and recommend this place. Goes to show reviews don’t add up to what they say. It really is individually based and subjective. We’ve legit been here for over an hour and NOTHING! Ridiculous…

2022-04-09Pre-employment drug test here, ok first of all, ALL MALE staff when I went, they were all nice but really strange quiet and slow working, no questions asked I had to do all the talking, it was weird to me. My urine to me was yellow enough and I gave most of the cup, 4oz to be exact....came back diluted!!!...My employer had me to retest but with a different company. God is good and people are CRAZY!!!!
