Visited this place on a Tuesday afternoon and there was no one there but about 8 regulars in their 50s at the bar. Place was very clean and the waitress was phenomenal. I ordered a burger(boss hog) which was supposed to come with a large portion of bacon but I guess the cook forgot to include it. Other than that, great!
Nice bar, great prices and fast service. Usually a nice crowd and some weekends they have a band. The bartenders Cade and Seth are great and very friendly.
Place sucks. Food is mediocre. It has turned into a Quinon bar. They have the Quinon logo painted on the wall and customers bring in Quinon labeled containers that the day time bartenders add water to the Vodka they bring in in those so they dont have to buy as much from the bar. The daytime bartender gets a bigger tip. On multiple occasions she way over servers. She let a guy get so drunk he passed out at a stop light not far from the bar. Place way over servers. I believe that bartenders name is misty . They also allow the guests to use the N word. If want mediocre food a bartender that wears shorts so short that her dow below lips hang out customers have had to tell her to adjust her shorts and foul language being yelled including the N word this is the place for you.
Comfortable place to have a great burger along with a soda or a brew. The fries and tots are nice and crispy. The Buick Burger was amazing, my husband had the Boss Hog it was messy, but good. The waitress and bartender were both attentive, pleasant and know their craft. Enjoyed watching the games. Listening to some food tunes. This is definitely a place to check out!
I used to live closer & go more often, but I go out of my way to come here for the wings and the bartenders keep me served with beers they know I like.As far as some of the other comments I know the owner & dont believe him to be a racist. Ive never heard anyone speak derogatory & all the food is damn good.
Ive been going to Chopshop for a few years now. Service is great! Food is really really good! They have two pool tables, beer pong game, darts, and a basketball game. Karaoke sometimes. Love it here!

My wife and I have made this our regular hangout since moving to the area. Staff are always welcoming, burgers are incredible, and pool is only $1 a game.
A bit of dive sports bar! We stopped by to grab a beer after hitting golf balls down the street and we were surprised at how good the food was too. Beer was cold and the food was good. Nuff said!

Gives you a home town fill even if your not from the area . Its one of those places where you can really go have a great priced lunch or dinner wont hurt your piggy bank. Every time I go there to watch Texas games the bartenders are friendly and the wait staff are awesome! I read a bad review earlier, a complaint about her husband being over served. I believe people should take responsibility for their actions. If alcohol is an issue for you don’t go to a bar and then blame the bartender, go to a meeting.
I was here to meet up with some friends. The drinks were nothing super exciting but good enough. It was pretty quiet for a weekend night. We were able to play darts and pool easily. Very casual place too.
Watch your tab! Bar people tend to double charge! Not a place that I would go to on a regular. Just a little ... Whats the word ... Getto! I dont like it !Smells and looks like it needs to be cleaned and it just not a place I would go too Ever again!!
I like this place a lot. Been here a few times now. The beer selection is better than other small bars and the prices are decent. I like that they have several pool tables and other games as well. All the staff Ive met have been pretty down to earth. Overall, its a nice little spot.
What to say about ChopShop is I like it really my buddy and I go a few times a week, really live on the weekends, sometimes my wife will come and watch us play pool and hang out with us. But as of lately she stopped wanting to come ans hang out because a certin bar tender will trip about us eating food from her job after she gets off work... Even if we are spending money there and their kitchen is closed this guy will not lay off none of the other employees say anything but this guy has even walked up and threw my soda away while I was in the restroom I dont drink beer or liquor anymore but we do go in and spend money on the games and my buddy buys a bunch of beer just this one guy watch out for him if you bring anything from home or from anywhere else he will throw it away if you walk away from it.
I ordered a burger, tots, and fried pickles via Uber Eats. Beware there is no option to request well done for your meats. Enjoying my burger in the dark after a long New Year’s Eve night I began to eat. Halfway into my burger I started to get sick to my stomach. I looked and my burger is not cooked all the way through. Instantly calling and received a young lady by the name of Misty. She went above and beyond to ensure that this issue will be rectified. The 3 stars is because of her politeness. As for the burger being medium rare it would’ve been a no star for me. Will be reaching out to Uber Eats regarding putting an option in the customizing area for well done meats.Misty thank you for your understanding and kindness.

After being here twice in the past month trying to watch Texas A&M football games, the bartenders has gotten frustrated when I have asked to have the sound turn on for the games rather then music. Just tonight, with the Orange bowl game going on, the bar would rather play music rather then the sound for the games.Decided to never come back, and let everyone know that if you want to actually hear the games, this is not the place to go because they would rather have music going then playing the games in a sports bar. There are a dozen other sports bars like Benders or Malarkeys that will cater to their customers.
Sometimes they have various bands playing on Thursday nights and they switch out approximately every 30 minutes. It is really enjoyable hearing new bands. The happy hour before 7PM is really good for drinks.
I absolutely love this place, great selection of beer on tap and the food is delicious. It sucks that they close their kitchen at 10 on weeknights because sometimes I crave the tempura fried green beans, they are to die for!!!! But the atmosphere is awesome and the prices are decent, so this place is definitely the place to be on a friday!
This bar should be ashamed of themselves. My husband was in no state to drive let alone walk, but miraculously made it home by the grace of God. In the state he was in the bartender should have 1. Stopped serving him 2. Called him a cab or called me. This bar clearly doesn’t care about the safety of their patrons. I cant stop him from dropping by for a after work drink, but you can stop over serving him. What if he hurt himself or someone else? Or worst, killed someone? There would be blood on your hand too. The next time this happens, Im reporting it to TABC.
We tried the Low Rider Cuban and the Concore Sliders - delicious! And you cant go wrong with tater tots! Amber, the bartender, was friendly and her service was great! We appreciated the large fans on the patio, too! Perfect in this warm weather!
This is a great place to come and watch the game. Their Irish Callahan Nachos are amazing!! My son always wants to come to Chopshop just for that. Their burgers are great and have a ton of other options. However, its not the cheapest place. For a table of 3 (2 adults, 1 kid) with 2 adult beverages our ticket was about 60$.

The absolute worst bar experience I’ve ever had. The Preston Cole Band was great but it was 30 minutes to get a drink. The bar tenders didn’t even acknowledge you because the two of them were too busy. Was it that the bar was too busy for two bartenders or were the two bartenders not qualified? I dunno but not going back. I’ve never even posted a review before it was that bad
Had heard some good things about this place, so I tried it out. Staff is indifferent to the customers. Theres one bartender (and Im told hes one of the owners) is rude and very combative. This guy actually told a couple to leave the bar for asking that the music be turned down, then followed them out the door and had, what I assume to be the bounce attack the man. Police showed up and everything. Bad deal. The couple was right, the music was too loud. You couldnt talk to someone right next to you without yelling. There seems to be quite a bit of trouble at this place. Cops are always being called and are heavily patrolling the parking lot. I would recommend this place, unless you like dealing with this sort of trouble.
The service was awful and SUPER slow! The waitress brought out the wrong order...AFTER waiting 45 minutes for a burger! The drinks took 20 minutes to go come out and water was not brought out in the meantime. The barstools were uncomfortable and overall the food was below average. This was a waste of time and a waste of money. We will not be returning...ever!
Awesome bar. Great atmosphere, the staff is always very friendly, and the drinks are great. Karaoke on Friday nights, great patio sitting area, TVs everywhere... They even have an arcade game setup now!

Food was very good. Pretzel appetizer was good !! And definately one of the best burgers in town !!! Waffle fries were ok.However...despitea almost empty restaurant, took a long time to order and service was especially subpar.
Took 20+ minutes to get one drink! So ridiculous. We left after the 2nd try. Took 15 mins just to get my card to tab out! Bartenders wouldn’t acknowledge you while standing at the bar and prioritize waitstaff tickets over people that were standing at the bar for 20 mins (no exaggeration). Once they did acknowledge you, they were nice though. Preston Cole band was awesome though!!!

Car themed sports bar. Full service bar and great food. Ashton is a great bartender. Plenty of TVs throughout, daily Happy Hour specials, a nice covered patio, and plenty of parking.

And unless you fit the status quo they shy away and look at you like youre a threat.The franchise of sports bars is really going down hill. A MUST stop for all! Great food, people and atmosphere. Every seat is a good one, plenty of TVs to view. A side note, watch out for the spicy ketchup.......The Mule cocktail is tasty.
As I was leaving, I saw an attractive tall blond walking past. To my surprise, one of the waitresses and a few guys start calling her a guy and making loud comments towards her. I caught up with her and she said its common for the staff to do that when she walks by because shes so tall. Disrespectful staff encouraging hate isnt how any business should operate.
Kade and Ashley always take care of me! Cool spot for a drink with out breaking the bank. I usually get two shots of Patron and a Malibu and pineapple for $21 bucks. Fast service.

This is in response to Jim Morenos comment in hopes that he and others will read it and know the TRUTH about what happened that night. The bartender mentioned was NOT the owner but one of our veteran bartenders. A guest got intoxicated and yelled at him about the level of the music. He turned it down but the guest continued to yell at him in front of other guests. He was asked to leave and refused so our security escorted him out and Carrollton police were called. The guest then pulled out a knife on our security guard in the parking lot for removing him from the premises. When cops arrived, he argued with the cops and they arrested him for trespassing. We care about the experience of our other guests and their safety as well. If reviews are left about Chopshop they need to be truthful and not told through the eyes of one person who didnt know the facts. Thank you!

I live right around the corner from this place and love going here on Mondays for half price burgers. The bartenders have big personalities which is a plus. Friendly and stern to those who get too rowdy.
Great place to watch the game! Good food! The fans know their sports. We just may make this our default cowboy watching bar.
This place is okay at best, when I visited the place it was understaffed and I felt as if there was a preference to usuals which in my opinion would hinder the growth of an establishment that is dependent on growth and popularity. My opinion is go and give the place a try, get a feel for it and your experience may be different but I was dissatisfied with the service and staff.

Steven Hawkins determined in a white paper he published when he was 5 that he wont eat this burger for fear of it curing him from his dreadful disease. It would be selfish he stated. 2022-03-06I was invited by friends to come hang out at a “cool” dive bar; I had no idea this place was as cool as it is. The staff is super friendly, the food is very good and the atmosphere was awesome. On the night I went I discovered a singer that I had never heard before. Country singer Bryce Frazier was incredible, if you ever get a chance to see him perform…. Do it!

2022-02-14This place is great. The food is awesome! Ordered the BBQ Twisted Chicken with cheesy tots, both were delicious... the chicken was so flavorful. The atmosphere is nice too, car & motorcycle decor and its large enough that you can space out from others if you wish. Place gets pretty popping on karaoke night.

2022-02-13Wasnt busy when we went chiefs vs Bengals playoffs which is nice. Jameson shots seemed too easy to shoot. I dont want to say watered down but something was off. Confirmed by the 3 other people I was there with. Decent food. Had fried pickles (chips) and a burger. Good prices on beer

2022-02-12Maybe it’s good. Wouldn’t know. Sat there for 30 minutes and couldn’t even get a server that would make eye contact when we went looking for one. Look, if you can’t serve food, don’t. Put a sign up or something, but don’t waste my time. Went next door for some excellent Jamaican food and great service.

2022-04-28The food is perfect prepared by an executive chef going on 30 years experience, The alcohol test tequila so high end that it’s 450 a Shot. I was the kitchen manager there for a very short time, I did not receive much if any training except in Spanish, and language on that too familiar with. but I do hold a high school diploma and AA They were there Grrr And I’ve been in the in kitchens going on seven years so I learned the menu two days prior to my start date. Blaine is a great owner very laid-back he does like to give second chances,Even though I have no clue what the second one was, I was salary supposed to work 12 to 1030 but I arrived an hour to an hour and a half early every day because I have a strong work ethic. After the first mistake he assured me I still had my job, and a few days later I was let go without explanation at all, the food is great did you need to work and I’ve been in the business in the mornings The pay was decent except I never received any of the bonuses I was supposed Get bonuses on top of the salary I have yet to see, The price point is not unreasonable and the drinks are high end And account for most of the day sale. I wish I could understand why I was that goes sick time but I’m not gonna hold my breath I definitely would recommend friends and family go there and eat they have a wonderful food. ,Just to let you go this guy has no problem letting you go ,No one person who started there been in there so they’re turnover rate is incredibly high

2020-09-13This bar is awesome. The service is great and the place gives off good vibes. The prices are beyond reasonable for the quality of food! The drinks are also reasonably priced and they have daily specials and happy hour. We came during a Stars game, it was a fun atmosphere to watch games. They also have pool table and darts.

2017-08-07My waitress was very knowledgeable of the food choices. She helped me decide on my order in which she told me to get the burger but I was feeling more like wings that day... I wasnt disappointed. Even though, they were just okay.. but the sweet potato Fries were DELICIOUS! Kept the beers coming, no complaining here... Good time

2022-05-28This was a really terrible experience. Was never acknowledged the entire time I was here and the few times I was, I was treated like an inconvenience, even when it was time to pay. I waited so long to pay my tab, there were several times I could have just walked out. Staff was just wrapped in their own conversations and their regular customers only.
