Cedar Creek Apartments in other cities:
Worst apartments ever!Have a whole list of stuff wrong in my apartment been here 2 months and they hadn’t fixed hardly anything! Trash outside everywhere, always trying to scam you for more money, tried to tell me I still owed rent after I already paid it so I went to the office and showed my Receipt from where I got a money order and she starts looking for it and it’s pushed all the way back in a drawer…poor management and just bad apartments
Havent been here a month and its been a horrible experience. My apartment wasnt ready on time due to a water leak in one of the bathrooms, so after three move in date my bathroom was not completed but since I was out of my lease at my old place I was forced to move in or spend $$$. The manager Anna was trying her best to help us out but the district/region manager Kim stepped in and was unmoving and unprofessional when dealing with our situation, never sending the help she promised. Ive never deal with someone that was so against their customers. If that is the quality of management that this company uses with new tenants no wonder people run for the hills from this place. Its a piety that when a manager is so good at customer service like Anna is, is undercut by the next penny pinching manager on the totem pole that just drives potentially loyal customers away.
New Management every other month. None of the amenities are ever open. Pool is filthy. Laundry room is filthy and hot. Gym is closed. The pool is open even with COVID but it’s randomly closed whenever they please. Rent is getting higher and higher each month for no reason. No maintenance. Office hours vary. Apartments look nothing like the Demo one they show you.
Lived there for 3 years. Paid my rent on time, if not early every month. Constantly had problems with cockroaches. Told office manager multiple times. Pest control showed up maybe 2 times. Washer and dryers constantly broken. Maybe 5 washer working for 30 apartment units. Always had problems getting laundry done. The pool was ALWAYS closed due to pump not working. Always had problems with parking, not enough parking spaces. Gave 60 days notice to move out as required, ended up being out of apartment within 30 days. Cleaned up the best I could after living there for 3 years with little kids. Ended up receiving a collection notification saying I owe $750 due to bed bugs treatment, which I NEVER had bed bug problems. This place is a rip off. Every year rent goes up $75 or more. I would not recommend anyone using this place.
Apartments are up to date, plenty of room and pet friendly! New appliances with a back yard for bottom residents and balcony for the top floor. Staff is very kind and always helpful. Laundry room is tidy and neat at all times, along with the fitness center. The pool stays clean with a grill open for use along with a playground for the kids who enjoy some time outside. I recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment. Go see Destiny today, and get a lease! She’s the best!
This is the worst managed apartment complex one can rent. The management changes like one does laundry. There is no answer service, no one keeps regular office hours, the pool was closed most all the summer. They have pool parties with closed pool. The maintenance was good but now no can reach them because they stop the answering service. The manager promises restitution then the next manager takes it back. The leasing office wont return your calls and when you report maintenance request you are ignored.
WORST PLACE YOU COULD POSSIBLY LIVE AT! New rent is ridiculous for the condition of the apartments. I moved in the rent was $620 (reasonable) then when it came time for me to renew my lease rent went up $100+ so now it was $750. For a one bed and one bath run down apartment with cockroaches everywhere, police/swat team there almost every day, laundry room always down and dirt in the water.. no way im paying that much for rent!!I decided to just move somewhere else and I was promised my deposit back of $300 and never received it!
Been there two months. Had to go to the ac unit and turn on the ac myself. My room and my daughters light switches sparks. I had to fix my daughters but mine still does it. Carpet wasn’t seamed and so now we have a trashy carpet since it’s not fixed yet. Put in two different work orders and still nothing. Pest control came out two days ago and still had roaches in my apt this morning. Not worth the 1030/monthToday is monday and no one still came. Now after 5-6 days after pest control came now our apt not only have roaches but has ants crawling in the master bathroom and in my Daughters room!
Nice cozy and adorable place to live! Very friendly and helpful staff, the maintenance crew is quick and very friendly! I have a 2 bedroom unit and love the space in the master bedroom, it fits my kind bed and still has plenty of extra space! Same with the living room, lots of space and cozy! Not the fanciest place ever but for the price and space you get its an excellent choice!
Been here since feb 2019. My fridge has barely worked the whole time here the so called maintenance told me its cause i have too much food..... Bathrooms dont work they replaced my tub got grout everywhere its a disaster. Lights broke wont work. Carpets nasty. Feel stuck. Cant wait till my lease is up. Was told today that someone would come and look at my fridge and still havent showed. I lived in hotels that were better.
Do not move here. the staff is always rude. they do way too many inspections, and they don’t tell you what time so you’re stuck waiting all day. the water barely works half the time, we’ve gone without water for more than 24 hrs at a time, multiple times. the apartments are disgusting and dirty. the walls are way too thin so you can hear the neighbors. there are so many car break ins around here and there are not cameras so nothing is done about it. there isn’t enough parking.
Tyra Brown is absolutely rude! And she is the manager smh No one ever answers the phone. And when she did I asked about an unit and she asked my name I gave her the first only and when I refused to give her my last name she hung up in my face! How rude ! And unprofessional! I will contact cooperate about this.
Apartments are a good size and you get a lot for the price. The water bill is a little high, but the electric bill is affordable, so it evens out. The buildings are older, but the staff is quick to fix anything that needs to be fixed. Ive never had a problem so I would recommend them.
ZERO stars……..Literally stole my money First I applied back in august got denied ok but I was supposed to get my deposit back and never have I’ve been calling for months and haven’t had any decent answers or progress about the money situation if I get someone on the phone………. the office manager will not speak to me directly and still I’m waiting on my money to return from 3 months ago
I have lived here for 8 months and gone through alot of changes but i have to hands down say that Ana Fierros has been the best land lord i have ever experienced. Ana has always taken care of any issues we have had. She has taken care of the property every day as a land lord should. Ana makes sure that her residents know she is here for them and that is the kind of land lord i want to work with. There are a lot of people that recommended cedar creek but has been let down. I will be honest i was let down myself before Ana. Know that Ana is the property manger i have had nothing but postive aspects. My maintenance is taken care of the same day, i have access to clean and new appliance for laundry. The property is clean and safe. I will rent from Ana Fierros. Thank you so much for making our living experience comfortable and welcome.
I honestly can say that that the manager Ana is amazing she is very professional and gets things done.. And the application and move in process was amazing very fast and efficient.. the apartments are very spacious and beautiful on the inside . I made the best decision moving to the cedar creek apartments
First of all, do not rely on the pictures on the website which are extremely misleading. These apartments are old, outdated, unkept and only a very few units have been remodeled on the inside. We were allowed to move into a unit that had been lived in by the same tenant for ten years and it was not even vacumed, or cleaned in any way. This was admitted by Mary the manager as she had the maintenance man drop off a vacume cleaner for US to vacume. None of the kitchen appliances worked either. This was after we had paid ahead for two weeks until we could move in to hold the empty unit, (plus all deposits) in which the unit just sat there dirty and in disrepair. In the 14&1/2 months we lived there we only saw ONE unit being cleaned in preparation for new tenants ( they dont even have a regular cleaning crew.) The walls are thin so you will hear everything that goes on with your neighbors. The water pipes are horrendously loud within the walls. The heating unit, or SOMETHING which was located in the ceiling above the bathtub was so loud it made the whole room shake and I was always afraid it was going to fall on me. The airducts are filthy and send out stinky air. The other tenants are extremely disrespectful of the property and throw their trash all over the place and dont pick up after their dogsAo and also let them bark continuously outside to disturb everyone day and night. Also Management always threatens to enforce rules but they dont, even if you report the specific person breaking rules. The laundry room requires a card you have to load cash on to to wash, but the machine to load it is broken 90% of the time and so you have to go down the street to a Laundromat. I see by other reviews it is still broken, which means its been at least 2-3 months now that its been out this time. The 7-11 thats located on the property with only a fence as a barrier was robbed so many times I lost count, and we heard gunshots in the surrounding neighborhood more than once. A car was vadalized in the parking lot, and my car got beat to heck by careless tenants opening their doors into mine bc the parking lot is tiny... And last but not least, theres only a one year lease agreement. After that they tack on up to $150 per month for shorter lease agreements. We went month to month when trying to buy a house and ended up paying them almost $1000 a month for this tiny, filthy outdated two bdr. ***These are all things I wish I had known before I spent a nightmarish year at this awful place. I could even add more, but I feel this is enough to hopefully dissuade anyone who is looking for a decent place to call home, because this is definitely NOT the place. And BTW, Caroline, the regional manager they refer the bad reviews to does nothing to resolve issues, obviously if there are still so many complaints. Management changes so frequently at this place I couldnt even keep up with who was in the office. Bottom line, read all the awful reviews, take them seriously and STAY AWAY!
Ceder creek apartments is a very bad place to live, first of all within a 3 month span of us living here we had about 6 new managers, which made a lot of things difficult with rent payment. The second thing in the last month and a half my apartment has been flooded twice for reasons that werent are fault, and when we asked to change apartments do to the bad odor and health risk they stated that it will all be fine and that if we wanted a new apartment we would have to pay for a new one. The second time it flooded it came from the roof and made the ceiling fan spark and the outlets sizzle they still refused to give us a new apartment. We didnt even get an appoligy either times. Third reason is the water shoots hot and cold water everytime you take a shower, Ive damn near burned myself several times do to sudden burst of steaming water. Fourth reason is the apartment manager never seems to be in a good mood and is always giving me and my elderly disabled grandmother attitude. If you are looking to get an apartment do not get one here.
Water has been cold for hours was told nothing can be done till Monday. Management doesnt want to do nothing about it but when it comes to rent better be on time. I know a good manager would go out of their way to keep the the people happy. Also says that the office is open on Saturdays and no ones ever there or they leave early . This place is getto I wouldnt put my worst enemy here to suffer
I moved in with my mom and husband in January and got evicted because my sister stayed too long. I had asked for a 3 bedroom and was told yes by one manager and another one evicted me. Its wrong in so many ways. They lied and I had asked months ago before this so be careful.
Cedar Creek has a superb customer service management/maintenance staff. They are very persistent and satisfactory as far as residential needs to the upmost as well as Taylor County is concerned. There is an expansive amount of shopping and dining sites under a mile or less away. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet and the community is very friendly. I would most definately recommend Cedar Creek as a top priority on my rental site searching list for new rental seekers as well as home owners looking to downsize in expenses concerning living reductive situational.
We moved in August and right away had a problem with the tub overflowing during a shower. It took them a month to come fix it. The laundry has been out of order for a month and a half and they still dont know when its going to be fixed. They didnt change the air filter before moving in. The walls are thin so you can hear the neighbors talking all the time!
Do not fall in to there trap. The apartments will seem alright while your staying there but when you are done leasing and decide to leave that will keep your deposit and charge you for anything they want to. They make you think your free for about 3 mouths and then sind you straight to there collation agency. They will lie and say that they have called you many times. Then you will pay off what ever hidden fees they had in the lease and then they will sell your phone number to outher companys. Theses apartments are a scam.
Rental disaster! I have had nothing but constant matenance issues. Matenance comes out says they fixed it but still not working. Empty promises of return visits, if you love no AC or Working heat, and tons of other problems than this is the place for you. I wish I could get out of this lease because I hate it here!
DONT MOVE HERE!!! WE LIVED HERE. AND WHWM OUR LEASR WAS UP WE WWE GONNA GET. 3 bedroom apartment there but comes to found out 2 days before we got the key. That apartment and major problems that they were trying get to cover up.!!!! And then wanna try to send us a bill for over 1,000 dollars... HELL NO.
Dont give them a deposit!!!We were asked to place a deposit while we decided on this property or another one. When we choose to the other apartment community we were never given a refund. We didnt sign a lease or anything. Weve just gotten the run around for weeks. Excuse after excuse.

2022-01-23Have lived here for over a year and am more than happy! Great living space and neighbors. Also has the best maintenance staff Ive ever experienced in an apartment complex. They have consistently gone above and beyond to meet our maintenance needs. That includes routinely checking in and making sure previous issues stayed resolved.

2021-12-12My lease will be coming up for renewal in the next few months. I planned on renewing for another year. As a resident I can say that Cedar Creek is a nice place to live. I have never had any bad dealings with the girls in the office. I only put in 1 request for maintenance in the past year. It was handled fast. I have no problem giving them 5-stars.

2022-01-25Terrible experience with these apartments. They never answer the phone and then when they do they put you on hold and forget about you. They never call you back when they tell you they will. I applied to these apartments and went through the whole process and was told I was APPROVED. I received a move in date and everything then the next day I was told I actually wasn’t approved that THEY didn’t look at everything and then I was denied the apartment I was already told I was getting. Took me forever to get ahold of them in order to get my deposit back and now they’re saying it will take weeks. I would not recommend applying here!!!

2021-12-18Cedar Creek is well managed and nicely designed. The area is quiet. I was happy to find a 3 bedroom in this area that didnt kill my bank account. Overall I have nothing but good things to say. Also it is nice to have the pool in the summer. I would recommend.

2021-09-02I have lived here for 2 months now and have no problem giving them 5 stars! So far I always feel safe at home. Maintenance is responsive, my toilet had a minor issue and they came the same day. The staff in the office is nice but most of all I like the pool.

2022-04-07We moved here in October of 2021 we had some difficulties as well the apt we suppose to got wasn’t ready so we was told they got another apt but it’s going to be a little more but we really didn’t have a choice because we already was coming down from Mississippi.. when we reviewed the apt it was a roach crawling out the refrigerator but once again we moved all the way here dang near 9 hours so we stayed & couldn’t get deposit back anyway .. they walk in your Apts whenever they please.. rent seem like it go up every other month & even when they spray the roaches still there also when they spray they look at your apt to go snitch and tell the office so look out We had several problems but maintenance did fix them but I can say my bathroom sink and tub keep getting stopped up .. but yeah I won’t be coming back here only thing I really like is the flex rent.

2021-09-01I have no complaints about living here. Tyra and the staff are always so nice. The maintenance staff is on top of things around the property. Things are always taken care of quickly. My neighbors are nice. This is all I could ask for in an apartment complex.

2021-09-27One of the worst apartment complexes I have ever lived in. Apartments are full of roaches and crickets. Crime is heavy in this area. Your property will be broken into. Management is slow and maintenance is terrible. They cut corners for everything. I would never recommend living here. Lacy Sartor is a terrible property manager. AVOID THIS HOUSING AT ALL COST.

2019-11-19These are the worst apartments Ive ever lived in. Management keeps promising that things will be getting fixed and it will get better and it hasnt. They say maintenance will be out to resolve the issues but they never do and it takes days before they come out. Its sad to say but i havent even lived here a month and its been never ending since we signed the paper work. It took a week to get someone out to fix the ac/heater and we have leakage in both restrooms to the point we cant even use the restrooms to shower. I dont recommend this place to anyone at all.
