The way volleyball is run from sign up to play is astonishing. Anybody can reserve a spot without paying so no shows are frequent. 2/3 times going with enough to play signed up and at most 6 people showed. Unsure if the sign up for a team when you get to pick-up is a southern thing but its entirely elitist. Just count off 1-3 and play to 15. 2 games in 2 hours with 3 teams there. First 45min was spent peppering. Not worth the $10 day pass and barely worth the drive if it was free as you might even get enough to show up and play. Needs a second net set up for the 2 popular days per week. Bring your own ball.
Great service, nice and clean and quiet during the weekdays and weekends. Grounds are well kept, and the general area is really nice. Easy walk over to the shopping center nearby on the well kept walking trails. Great customer service made joining a great pleasure, not to mention the amazing prices compared to other places.
Love this place! You dont have to have a contract, it is very clean, large enough to always get the machine I want unless Im in the very busiest hours, which I avoid. The employees are very nice and helpful and the price is way better than anywhere else! Trying to talk my family into joining with me. If you are in Cedar Park you get a crazy good deal!
Excellent facilities for a reasonable price. There are also additional fitness classes available. Staff is friendly and the locker areas are always clean! It can be bit crowded in the evening hours, but is great during the day. Only drawback is that there is no pool as you would find at the YMCA, but the fees are much less expensive.
Went to go see the art at night. It was really cool. Aparently they change up the art once a year. Worth going more often though. There is a nice path to walk around a pond and enjoy the evening. Wasnt able to inside the building its self but might try to next opportunity I get.
As residents its only $200 per year for us as a couple to have a membership. The facility is well maintained and since we go in the evening it is often being cleaned while we are there. There are a few machines that I miss from some of the chain gyms but you cant beat this deal.
Great place for me to take my kids to burn some energy off and get in a good workout for them and me. My kids can go and play basketball for a few hours while I got the gym. I really like Cedar Park Rec Center, it reminds me of the Local Rec Center from my neighborhood in Sacramento, Ca. The kids love it as well.
Always friendly. Usually go after lunch when less crowded. Silver Sneakers members welcome. Has both indoor walking trail as well as treadmills, bikes, rowing machines, and other machines and weight equipment. Active Pickle Ball group. Offers classes in yoga and aerobics. No pool. My husband and I have been members for over 3 years and believe that our health has benefitted.
I love Cedar Park rec center. It has a walking track that I use and the place opens at 5am weekdays which is perfect for me before work. I find treadmills very boring so the track is great and its hard to find at most exercise facilities. Its incredibly affordable for cedar Park residents.
Pros: An excellent value for Cedar Park residents. Ive never had to wait for cardio equipment, even at peak times. Clean restrooms and locker rooms. NOT a meat market gym. Cons: The weights area can get a little crowded and there isnt enough space to do any floor work or stretching without being in full view of a bunch of other people.
Cedar Park Recreation Center has excellent gym and workout facility. An indoor walk/run track circles the gym on the second floor. Yoga and other classes are also taught on the second floor. Mothers and dads with kids in tow appreciate the baby sitter service. A large community room is on the far side of the workout facilities.
The workout options are decent and the machine selection is slowly expanding, but the Sculpture Garden is great. If you play Ingress or Pokemon Go, there are ten or twelve portals and four Pokestops. Its about the densest area of Pokestops outside downtown, with three right next to each other.

2022-06-13The staff are friendly, they are accommodating and always wish you a nice day when you leave. The schedules are well maintained and theyre good about keeping everything on time (transitions within the rec center area space). The gym equipment is sufficient for most and the elevated track isnt too crowded. Tons of parking too.

2022-02-25Gets super crowded so don’t even try to go ball there in the evenings on weekdays unless you are 6’ 4’’. On sunday’s it’s more chill. Only $15 a month if you live in cedar park no weird fees or commitments. Weightroom is small. Has a track above the basketball court that doesn’t get too crowded. Has a yoga gym and they do classes regularly.

2022-03-17We absolutely love this place! Mostly because of Sandee, who works in the child care center. She is so good with our son and the other children. We are able to get in a good workout here, and create good habits. There is a decent amount of equipment. You may have to wait a bit for a machine. Still, its never been a big problem.Afterwards we pick up our son, who is happy every time. And we are grateful.Go take a tour, youll see how amazing it is, especially per the price point.

2021-10-31We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and space of the CP rec center and even more pleased with the incredibly low membership fees. A family of up to 10 people for $240 annual ($20 a month). One of the things that bothers me personally about larger gym franchises like Golds gym, is there loud music and lack of acoustic design. Its like this overwhelming echoed loudness of weights rattling and music. One of the first things I noticed about the CP rec center was just how quit it was. There was no music playing and each room was pretty dead acoustically speaking. Even the gymnasium had several acoustic panels all though out.

2021-05-31Its a nice facility overall and quite affordable compared to gyms like LA Fitness/Golds,etc. They have an adequate weight room with dumbbells up to 90lbs each, indoor track, large basketball courts, cardio area and group fitness class area that has a good amount of open space that you can use when there is not a class in progress. My only complaint would be that I wish they had a free weight squat rack rather than the smith machine.

2019-05-20Went to jazz festival. Had fun despite the rain. Got these tacos from a food truck, and they were off the chain baby. Dirty south tacos from cajun skillet.

2022-04-23Clean and plenty of space. Free weights and a nice variety of machines. Inexpensive especially for those who are considered residents of the area. There are various classes held here including yoga.
