I switched my weekly pool cleaning and treatment services to Champion Pool Service this year after many years with my previous provider. They did a thorough examination of our pool equipment before they began. I asked them what they would do if this was their pool. The owner said he would replace my old motor with a high quality variable speed motor. After the recent ice storm and cold snap, I am glad that I did replace that old motor. I did not have a single problem with my pool during this storm, and I probably saved a lot of money with the more efficient motor. Everyone at Champion is highly professional with a high degree of technical competence. They have done a great job for me, and I am glad that I made the switch.

BEWARE! Our company used Champion Pool Service over a course of several years to provide general cleaning services for pools at two hotels. Over the years, weve caught them with numerous lies (your pool has a leak, a pipe was busted by the equipment, your chlorinator doesnt work, etc.). Each time, our management reviewed the claim and found EACH time, it was a pure lie. We kept them on just to keep it simple for us. In June of 2021, their tech came out to service the pools at approximately 9am. That very same day at 1pm, the City Inspector came by for their inspection and ended up closing our pool down to the public due to it having ZERO chlorine. How does this happen? The other hotel which is next door, was also inspected and the City Official found Champion had been placing Chlorine tablets in the skimmer baskets in and INDOOR pool which is against STATE LAW! Unbelievable! This finally resulted in us terminating our relationship with them. A very unethical company that can cause harm to the public that use our pools.Stay away!

Our prior pool company really let us down after the recent winter storm in Texas- Sam and the team at Champion Pool Service came to the rescue! We had chatted with Champion about switching to them for monthly service a few months back, but didnt follow through. After multiple issues with our old pool servicers, including no support for tips on how to winterize, we reached back out to Sam and the Champion Pool team. Even without being current customers, Sam made sure to make time to send the team out, have our equipment evaluated after the storm and schedule the repairs in a timely manner. Theyve been responsive and professional with every interaction weve had. They will be our go to pool company for anything moving forward. Highly recommend!

Champion has serviced our pool the last two years and has done a great, reliable job. Always on time, billing issues (if any) are handled promptly, and any repairs needed are worked on quickly or they give you a recommendation for someone else to fix it.Pricing is upfront and fair for the service. The previous reviewer not bothering to read the contract regarding how the monthly charges are calculated vs. months with more/less visits is not the fault of Champion Pool.

I have had to switch pool services several times in the past 8 years. While it has only been 1 month with Champion, I have noticed that my pool looks noticeably cleaner and the water much clearer. More importantly is I have had no pressure issues due to lack of chemicals,

BUYER BEWARE!We have been using Champion Pool Service for a year and they have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We have had issues from damaging our equipment and charging us to fix it, to charging us for cleaning and never showing up. Often when they dont show up they tell us they are too busy and cannot come back. Additionally, they dont issue refunds because there are extra weeks in some months for which they dont charge. We had duck scat in our pool for two weeks before they finally agreed that it wasnt just a stain they couldnt remove.We had algae show up in our pool just this week and they skipped their service appointment the prior week (no tag on the door and no confirmation email). This was the last straw, I dont want my pool looking bad all summer as we use it almost daily.Champion is the Wal-mart of pool cleaning. The price may be decent but the execution is horrible. The people in the office have no idea what is going on in the field.

Champion Pool Service has delivered absolutely great service to me. They are timely & professional each & every time they come out to do the weekly service. Any questions are answered & they are up front & trustworthy with their pricing and very easy to work with. The only issue i’ve had with them was when i changed from sand filter to cartridge. The cost to change out the sand ($600) almost equaled the cost of the cartridge filter replacement. I was informed it was a lot more cost effective & easier to maintain. Well after the filter was installed & the annual cleaning came due, of course i had them out. It was discovered the rubber seals at the ends of the cartridges had blown out. This has continually happened almost every single time. My ‘cheaper’ solution has cost me about as much annually as an every three year sand exchange. Although the first year they replaced them at no charge to me.They had one of their Techs come out to evaluate the filter & all the pressures & everything else. The cartridges looked good according to him, but he said the current cartridge filter may have to be replace with a larger filter to keep this from happening again. He said he would discuss with his Boss - and have never heard back after approx 1.5 months. It was Champion Pool that decided the size of this filter. Will update as soon as a decision is made - whenever that is. This doesn’t reflect in my review because they really are a good company. They carried me as a customer when my pool took 2 months to be remodeled & even after i told them i would be willing to keep paying , they suspended my monthly account charges until my new pool was completely up & running & ready for weekly servicing. I would recommend them to anyone!Brad Z

Bought a house where the previous owners were using weekly service from Champion. My fiance requested to continue the service and even after speaking with someone again we have yet to have anyone show up to clean the pool. No phone calls. Just no service. My neighbors have been welcoming. Who wouldve guessed the pool guy would be the one to have a problem with our differences?Edited for response: My name wouldnt be in a database. As I stated, my fiance was the one setting it up. You came out for the last cleaning in August for the previous owners and yall talked. He called afterward and when you finally decided to return a call he mentioned that we had just begun looking for the equipment to do it ourselves. You said you would be happy to continue the service. He gave you his email address. You never sent the contact. How many potential customers were just ignored during this time? My review isnt bc I want this service. Its because people should know what happened.

They visited around March 5th to give diagnosis through our home warranty request. It is April 2nd 2021 and I habe called them 4 times spoken to 3 different people and left messages and they still can not tell me what and how much or sent the issues to warranty for repair.Indont understand what the hold up is. Just tell your customer the process. Ibhate giving 1 star but no customer service from this company.
