Chick-fil-A in other cities:
Sometimes good, sometimes not. Today I ordered #6 combo with unsweet tea and ranch. Gave me sweet tea and zero dipping sauces. Previously Ive had a lot of similar issues. Consistency isnt very good either - sometimes the fries are fresh and well salted, sometimes not. Sometimes the butchering is good and sometimes the chicken has chewy bits and gristle.I expect better from CFA!
Chick fil A is always bomb! The grilled chicken sandwich with fila sauce! I go for the hi c fruit punch drink! My family and I stopped at this location after a basketball tournament. The service was friendly and in the busiest time of the day I was able to get in the drive thru and get out in good time. Recommend this location to everyone
Terrible customer service at the Brownwood, Texas location! They kicked out my husband (combat veteran) and I because we had our service dog with us. They said we could not bring her inside the restaurant. Way to go Brownwood Chick fil a…violating the rights of a combat veteran!
This was a store not in my area. The store in my area I sing its praises. This one is ok. But I think there was a mistake in the coffee station area. We Had a breakfast bowl, with freshfruit sides. . Was surprised by how small it was , It tasted good.I will say the coffee was so strong I couldnt drink it. Even with 5 creamers 3 Splenda, over a large cup of ice. My father was a mess Sargeant and made strong coffee. This was beyond his. It was undeniable. Really bitter I tried, but it was stronger than Cuban coffee. That is shy I think there was a mistake made.
Love this place but its 41° and the wind chill factor is 29 there is no reason to have the employees and the drive-thru out in this cold weather especially with the sickness going around. Im thinking that if the female manager and Im not trying to be ugly but if she traded places with her two employees I think everyone would come in real quick. Dont do this to your employees because they will eventually end up sick
Its a fancy, updated store--a significant upgrade from the mall store, but I dont think that the spirit is the same. There i felt that the young servers were looking for opportunities to serve. Here, now; though the verbal pleasantries are the same; I do not feel as valued. Several team members walked around me as i waited for a re-fill; a few even seemed to turn their gaze downward so that they would not need to acknowledge me. Yes, the new atmosphere is snazzy; but I would, perhaps, tolerate the oil-laden static air and sticky floor once again for the occasion to refuse a spontaneous offer to fill my cup but thank her for it just the same.
I was not aware that chick-f served breakfast and I was a bit dubious. Went in and ordered near to my standard breakfast sandwich available on their menu. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Not really a fair reaction without trying but very good. Fwiw I would recommend trying.
After three days of no sleep and barely any food, my husband who is in the hospital with an unknown diagnosis finally said the magic words “im hungry”Naturally after browsing a list of local restaurants he chose chic-fil-a. After deciding what to order I go to pay. I accidentally gave the wrong debt card and realized it as she was going rk swipe - no biggie, but I apologized and let her know my current situation.I was for once happy the drive thru line was long cause it meant I had a few 20-30 second intervals of resting my eyes in my hands on the steering wheel. I get to the window and they hand me my food, the manager had comped his meal and added a Brownie and cookie and said the team would be praying for us.After 72 hours of hell and still no answer this was the breath of air we needed.THANK YOU Brownwood Chic-Fil-A team, you have no idea how much that lifted my husband’s spirit.
Take out is very organized. A long line of customers can be moved quickly, yet still with friendly service. The food is excellent. The flavor good of food and bevarages are wonderful. The lemonade is a favorite with us. Salads are fresh tasting. The Cobb is my favorite. The meal sizes are adequate for most. The price is a little higher, but the food is healthier than most fast food places.
I was very disappointed with the experience here. Nearly every time I drove by this place it was packed. Lines and lines of cars waiting to order and pickup. So I expected that the food must be really really good to have that many people waiting in line to get it. I walked in and placed my order - sandwich, fries and drink. It seemed to take a long time to get the order and when I finally did I found the sandwich bun to be soggy from the pickle juice and smashed, the fries were lukewarm and limp. I threw away the bun, ate most of the chicken, ate some of the fries that were not as limp and threw away the rest. The drink was good though. I feel like this meal was a waste of money and do not plan on eating there again.
Came in with my 89 yr old father, by the time we chose our breakfast the counter person stated we stop serving breakfast at 1030, it was 1033, he watched us choose what we wanted. He ask the manager she was uncaring. We will not be back to this chic-fil-A!!! Disappointed Brownwood !!!!
We pulled up and others pulled up with us. Cones were placed behind us, because they were closing. We were the last ones, because were in the slower lane. An employee came out and told us that we couldn’t be served, because the cones were placed before we got there. FALSE. The cones were BLOCKING US IN. We couldn’t even get out. We were asked to leave and they would not listen to reason and how we drove up with everyone else. This is after we sat in the drive thru for about 20 minutes waiting to order.
Worst one I have ever been to. Nobody outside taking orders prolonged order times. Speak didnt work good. I repeated my self and still they got my order wrong. Wasnt busy but felt like I was a whatabuger at the window wait so long. There is no way this one is owned by the same people that own abilene sites. If so they need to pay this place a visit.
The food and customer service were so much better when it was at the mall. Sauces are almost always forgotten. Idk how many times i have gotten cold food thru the drive or curbside.idk what happened but it really went downhill fast. Its a shame since they just built it. But it really is my last choice now when it comes to dinner choices.
We love chick-fil-A. and sometimes we buy the sandwich twice a week as we thought thier food is very healthy. Unfortunately I found out last nite not so much. I wish I could post the chicken. It was hard and not cooked and terrible. We didnt even let our dog eat it. We were very disappointed. I called the shift manager. If I could put pictures I would. I will never eat from brownwood chick fila no more . Lost us as customer
I was driving to Cisco for work at night, I ordered their spicy chicken sandwich and fries. One of the best I have ever eaten. Well, When I was leaving, My friend was driving too pulling a camper, was a ways behind, I went back and ordered again, But they were closing.Their director was outside along with a gentleman that worked there. I asked if I could still order and asked what did I need, I told them same thing. But they said, They had already thrown those away, Everything every day fresh. They said, we have some chicken nuggets and other stuff if you like, So I accepted, And asked how much was the food. They said, Here it is on the house. But I still insisted on paying for the food. I looked in the bag there were chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, and pies. A lot of food. To the director and gentleman, I want to say Thank you.The people of Brownwood, You really made an impression on me that I will never forget. If you are anywhere near there Believe me, It is worth it to go. Just cause of the people there. You just dont find that kind of treatment of kindness everywhere. Their food is excellent. They also deserve a raise. Beautiful people. Aces in my book. Thank you, Again.
Super slow! It took almost 20 minutes to get our breakfast order, 2 minis and 2 biscuits. We had 12 hours ahead of us on a roadtrip and we wished we stopped somewhere else. Between that and starbucks it took an hour to get out of this town. The food was the same and delicious as always!
They never make the spicy chick fil a sandwich spicy. It tastes just like the regular sandwich. When they were located in the mall, this was the same issue. When they opened up their stand-alone, it tasted great and spicy, initially. Now, it tastes just plain. Because of this, I don’t come as often as I normally do and would like. I’d rather go get the actual spicy sandwich from another city close by. Other than this issue, this location is good. Servers are always courteous. Very busy location.I’ve been finding chocolate bits (fromtheir peppermint shake) in my frosted lemonade drink. I notified the location to allow me to get a new drink, and they were able to.
I See This Crew everyday This Crew goes above and beyond to make sure your orders are done right yes we all messed up at times and orders to get messed up at times but this Chick-fil-A is like no other but theyre parking is not so good sometimes so people pay attention to the people in the parking lot in the cars around it however they have been working on this so thumbs up for that and great props it has a playground for the kids right next door where you can play at the park while you eat your lunch so come and enjoy the atmosphere and see what Chick-fil-A has in store for you because they really do try to go above and beyond
Its been forever ago that I was at Chick-fil-a but they were fast and friendly I just wish that they were like that everywhere but once youve had a little country charm you wish its all over but a national food chain goes to bigger cities not all stores treat you the same next time I will try our store closer to me and hope for the same treatment

2022-03-23Food was good as to be expected, what I did not expect was to meet the greatest service/restaurant employee ever. Jim was contagiously friendly, helpful and funny. The best experience in a restaurant I have had, he deserves a raise/promotion. This kid is going places!-Your Firefighter Friends

2022-05-27Worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been to.3PM on a Friday. It took forever to get through the drive through & after we pulled out we realized that they forgot part of our order. I have not been impressed with this location the handful of times we have visited. It had better service when it was in the mall!

2022-07-03Its a Chick-fil-A, I really dont need to say much.As like any other Chick-fil-A, all the workers are very polite. All the food options are delicious, their frying methods are pretty much unparalleled among other restaurants.Despite almost ALWAYS having a very long drive through line, its usually still not thatong of a wait to get your food. After getting breakfast for 4 people, the price was still only under $25.

2022-06-16Hands down the nicest Chick-fil-A Ive ever been to. That it is in Brownwood of all places is wild. It is unfortunate that they take your order so far out from the menu though. Could yall add a menu out further in the line for us?

2022-08-07I will no longer be ordering from here. 1) they are crazy expensive 2) for a Christian company Chick-fil-A as a corporation does not represent Christian morals. Brownwood Chick-fil-A treats customers and workers wonderfully, but the corporation as a whole does not. From asking workers to serve almost 3,000 people in a hour just to beat their record, to making people work 13 to 14 hour shifts. Also, having people volunteer instead of work because they dont want to pay people to work. That is not a good representation of the Christian company they are supposed to be. Lastly, it should not cost 25 to 30 for 2 people to eat here. Thats just crazy!

2021-01-09Im so happy with the new location of this Chick-f il-a it is so much better than the old one at the mall. I like how they put in a cute little play ground. When my kids and I drive by they always ask me to play but it is too cold outside right now, (in January). This location gets busy around lunch. Im not sure about during dinner hours. But they are pretty fast, as fast as any other chick fil a Ive been to in Lubbock or wherever. They have a two lane drive through and I believe you can call ahead as well. There is curbside pick up and even a spot for Door Dash drivers. I have not been inside this location yet. Just drive through. I had to search for the new Chick Fil A in Brownwood tx to come to the new and correct location on Google. (This is where our old Skillets restaurant was. )The other mall location is permanently closed.
